This is a cool place to visit in Rayong. Lots of fish and underwater creatures on display. For 30 baht only, it’s fantastic. However I think they could increase the price and just maintain the place a bit better. But still for 30 baht you see quite a lot!

Beautiful small aquarium with lots of cool fish, jellyfish and sharks. Perfect for kids and adults! Great for a quick afternoon stop.

Second visit, good value cat just 30 baht entry fee for adults. Highlight is the perspex tunnel taking you through and below the huge saltwater tank displaying a variety of large sea fish. Further along sea turtles can be viewed from both underwater or from above outdoors. Interesting static displays about sea fishing and conservation, plus many smaller tanks containing sealife. We arrived on a Saturday morning for 10am opening there were already many people waiting but entry was fast and peopldxsoon love along through the exhibits. Recommended.

It's a compact aquarium with numerous types of fish. It can take a good 10-15 minutes to briefly go through the aquarium. The popular area to take pictures is the tunnel. You are lucky if you have a picture without the group in the background or forground

Nice place to visit with kids, the premises are well maintained and have a variety of aquatic animals. Entry fees are 30 THB for adults, 10 THB for kids up to 15 years old. Free entry for people below 120 cms and Thai nationals above 60 years. Parking is available in the vicinity.

Small local aquarium with dedicated sea turtle pool at the entrance. This is a unique aquarium in its own right due to most exhibits being commercial fishery stocks except the turtle pool. Giant garoupa tank is cool to stroll down the tunnel. Super cheap fee at ฿30/ adult, a mere ฿10/child.

A great place to take gkur children to when in town. Entrance fee is less than $1 and it aquarium has a decent amount of fish and underwater sea life to enjoy for a good 1 to 1:30hrs for you and your family when in Rayong.

The beach was filthy with trash including broken glass. The sand was rough and had holes in it and hurt to walk on even with sandals. Lastly, the waves were so violent that swimming was definitely a no-go. We wanted to stay for a few hours for the sunset, but that was not an option with how disgusting and unsafe the beach was.

I heard complaints many times about the lack of cleanliness of this beach. It looks like some visitors forget to put the rubbish in the blue bins on the main road to avoid littering the beach. However the District Government and National Parks make HUGE efforts to keep those long and beautiful beaches, tidy and enjoyable. If you visit, PLEASE remember NOT to throw away in the beach any plastics nor any garbage, so we can continue to enjoy those fantastic beautiful beaches!

We rented the sun shelter on the point of 2nd 7-Eleven. In the picture 5 meal see food dinner, one beer, one big cola, one big water, and my vegetarian spring rolls (not in the pic), altogether 1300 baht, about 35 euro. Not maybe the cheapest meal in Thailand, but nobody of us complained. Pattaya is full of farangs (as we will see, again, after couple of days), in Rayong I saw almost no tourists. And, then, Rayong is as a city (with much better beaches) much more interesting than Pattaya.

Just a typical beach that's is unusually uncrowded!! As with all beaches around the world it is littered with plastic, old shoes etc but this is common place these days. It does look like they have a clean up but the ocean will still throw up the trash that we all discard.. Along the beach you will find food stalls that have sun shades, deck chairs and plenty of designated roadside parking. The water looks surprisingly clean compared to Pattaya. Not many dogs around to, but the one we saw was very friendly. A lot of seafood being sold at the food stalls but with how quiet it is here the seafood will be hit and miss on how fresh it is! My girlfriend took some crabs and they had a mix of old/fresh crabs. At 550b kg prepared it's not expensive and each shop will be different prices. Overall a nice beach to go to if you want that uncrowded feel but still have everything you need for a decent day out.

Located one hour from Bangkok The facilities are in good condition and the course is well maintained. The greens were fast, the cup position was difficult, and I struggled with the pads. If you have intermediate skills or above, I think this is a golf course that you will want to try again and again. There is also a Japanese-style bath, and the restaurant is spacious and the food is delicious, so it's a place where you can relax after playing.

Guests houses beautiful, green is good condition. Little bit banker is difficult. Shower room is no good smell and air conditioning does not work. Very Hottest. Driving range is very nice. You can use Banker shot practice.

An absolute standout of a golf course! I would rate this in my top 10 methods of Thailand. This course knows how to make their customers feel welcome. From the moment you drop off your bag, you are made to feel welcome. The course has a great layout with short and long holes, exceptionally well maintained with excellent, challenging greens—very strategic bunker placements. The caddies, are some of the most well trained I have encountered. From knowing your club selection to reading the greens. Very few courses in Thailand can say they have caddies like this. The Japanese hot bath is a great way to end your round.

Interesting golf course, the course condition is absorbing the water in wet condition still problem some in some area, especially in rainy season which shower every afternoon. But so far the first 9 holes are in good green condition and challenging layout. I like all par 3 which has variety of distances and flag position. The water hazard is every where, beware of it. The food in the restaurant is decent taste and portion. The cleaness in the locker is good.

So good golf course with wonderful journey for completing 18 holes. Caddies are very welcome and good for assisting to complete the day perfectly

Great Starbucks location with lots of spaced out seating, a meeting room, and fabulous AC! Very refreshing spot to recharge. No cash accepted but credit cards are ok. Recommended.

Beautiful and nice view in shrine, fresh air at top floor. I also pray for my health and happiness, they have so many staffs to help prayers. A cat in shrine is so lovely and friendly. No car parking lots, so I have to park my car on the street near there.

I just spent 2 to 3 hours in this temple, and I could of explored a bit more. Every wall, every corner has such intricate artwork and detail. That will excite and blow your mind! If you’re a photoshoot type this is the best place for the full experience!! Under $30 you can get dressed up, make up, and a photographer… talk about a super deal!! I will be back and I might just have to do the full photo experience

Beautiful temple with details everywhere. They are 2 sides to this temple across the street and it is huge. Very quiet because there aren't a lot of people. It is also free. You can pay to wear Chinese clothing and have a photographer take non-stop pictures for 1500 baht all included.

Stunning. I've never seen anything like this before. A Chinese temple, it's unbelievably intricate from floors to ceilings. If you have a chance to visit, do it! Free to enter; no tickets, no lines. Be sure to ring the bell and make a wish.

Not recommend with small kids, it's a bit scary monkeys can jump at u, a lot of angry streets dogs. Not pleasant walk. Feels like u in a gost town. Nothing there to see or do. It’s changed a lot since my last visit when I was a kid. It’s very dirty with lots of trash on the floor and everywhere. It turned out to be a disgusting place and it looks deserted too. There is not many monkeys left there at the time of our visit.

We had so much fun here. Got our tickets online with a discount. Aside from water activities they also have table tennis and badminton. I love that they have a lot of stalls for food. Definitely a must try when you visit Pattaya. Also there’s free videos for the rides, just tell the operator and they will scan your wristband and you can claim your free videos on a machine and send it to your email.

A great water park, neat and clean. Plenty of places to eat and drink. A wide selection of slides. Towels can be rented for 100 baht. Small lockers large enough for a reasonable-sized bag are free, and larger lockers are available for rent. Unfortunately, it rained almost all day, which is a shame, but in good weather it's worth it. There are discounts in case of rain, but you have to ask for them, hence the lower star rating.

Except the prices, everything’s great. There are many fantistic slides, pools water flows where can make everybody feels exciting. But the only problem of this place is very expensive price of all kind of things which sells inside, not only the entrance, locker fee but also the foods and drinks. They inspect every customer’s bags completely to check and prohibit of bring in own foods at the gate. Only the drinking water is allowed.

We came on a Saturday and really expected to have to queue at many attractions, but that was not the case at all. The park is huge and therefore many people are spread out and the queue times are very reasonable. If you come early you are guaranteed to not have to queue anywhere. The park is absolutely amazing with many attractions available, including multiple thrill rides. Highly recommended!

It’s so much fun and amazing setup for families with kids or friends who want to play existing games or relaxing. Helpful staff and great facilities are always clean and welcoming to everyone to use. Anything you need for a perfect day you can find it from shops inside. Sweeping stuff and food or drinks are available for all day long and evening for all ages with different types, sizes or styles.

The place is spacious and clean. There are many games, food, drinks, and services. It is suitable for children and families. Parents can sit and wait for their children to play and do activities alone because there are security guards inside the place and they take care of everything closely. My family comes here every time we have a trip to Pattaya.

Great park. Not a lot of people. Great slides for all ages. We had a lot of fun there.

This place is truly underrated. It’s essentially a museum featuring many historical sculptures and statues from mainland China. The most fascinating part is the collection of Terracotta Army figures from Xi’an. Situated by a peaceful reservoir, the area also offers the chance to feed plenty of fish. On the opposite side, there’s a large Thai temple worth exploring.

Beautiful museum! Remember to take your shoes off before entering. It can be slippery if you are wearing socks. Many levels. Beautiful views all around.

⚠️ Important Warning for Visitors with Gluten Intolerance or Food Allergies ⚠️ There are absolutely no gluten-free options available inside the park. Before our visit, we contacted the welcome center online a day in advance to clarify this issue. We were assured that it would not be a problem — we could explain our situation upon arrival, and they would allow us to bring in food for our child. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Once at the park, the staff insisted that our child should eat outside, at the entrance area, which was unreasonable. Only after a long discussion did they eventually allow us to bring in the food — but only in transparent plastic bags that they provided. If the park’s policy does not allow outside food, that is understandable, but then there should be a more considerate approach for guests with dietary needs, food allergies, or intolerances. At the very least, one restaurant in the park should offer gluten-free meals. That being said, the park itself is fantastic — great facilities, well maintained, and packed with fun activities. You can easily spend the entire day here without getting bored. Everything ran smoothly for us apart from the food situation. Really great experience, was fortunate to come on a weekday and it was easy to get on all the slides. Had great shows and food. Has cabanas for rent and trip also.

It was a very great experience. My daughter had an amazing time. The slides are fun and the staff is great. I will say purchase your ticket online. Food is a lil pricey but hey what can you do. For the most part you will have a good time.

It's amazing, we had great experience here. We love the waves that so much fun. If the park can provide free shampoo and soap in the bathroom that will be better.

The water park is maintained well with life guards stationed, and the cleanliness is adequate. The variety of slides provides options to the gateways of enjoyment. The wave pool is good. Staff are friendly and courteous. Restaurants have a variety of American, Australian, Thai, and Chinese food. The food and drinks are super expensive. I tried Thai food, which was super salty, so not a value for money, but have no choice as outside food and water are prohibited. Open car parking is available.

Finally ticked off my bucket list. Incredible waterpark, with lots of things to do and see. The staffs are very helpful and they have a food court inside too but it’s a lil expensive.

We went two weeks ago (July 2025). I was impressed with the quality of the facilities, the shows, and most importantly, the extra friendly staff. Me, the kids and our friends had a fantastic day at Aquaverse Pattaya. Highly recommend it!

Quite a long but narrow beach, for swimming the east end of the beach is better and very quiet. Many nice seafood restaurants along the front.

Lovely beach, clean and not crowded at all. Maybe we were lucky because it’s not peak tourist season. There is also a safe swim area. The street along the beach has quite a lot of restaurants and bars where you can enjoy both Thai and Western cuisine.

A great area not too far from downtown Pattaya. You can bring your own camping chairs and relax under the trees. Has several food options, even smashburgers from a foodcart and also deckchair restaurants. A nice beach with quite clear water. Great view of the Pattaya skyline from there.

I have been here a few times and have never been tempted to go for a swim. If you want to swim, do yourself a favour and go to Ban Amphur Beach which is only a few kilometres away towards Jomtien.

Very relax spot on the island. Walk around can take around 40 minute and more. A small cafe next to the sea can help much on the shiny day

It's a paradise on earth. It's beautiful island has many great attractions and wonderful beaches. It's great place to relax and have great time on the beach or visiting the attractions on the island. The residents are very friendly and helpful. There are many fantastic hotels at affordable prices.

Beautiful island peaceful and quiet compare with the tourist crowded Pattaya. But overall the boat service to the island was a nightmare. The fishing boat modified my family and me boarded was lack of safety even thought it has the life jacket equipped. The boat’s boarding walk way was too narrow. An accident happened during my trip back as one local fell to the sea. Just be prepared and caution when travel with elder and children.

A real gem of an island. Ended up staying here 2 months. Great for fishing, swimming and check out the local temples/ sites. Friendly locals. Don't expect a party though, as there are only 2 karaoke on the island. Recommended

What I liked about the small, cozy island of Ko Si Chang: # No cars allowed! Only scooters and stylish tuktuks. # Very little number of tourists, so no noisy night life. # Diversified hilly terrain with super satisfying narrow winding roads for scooter riding (rent your own Zoomer for 300 bht/24h). # Some quiet resorts and natural nooks where you can hide from the world and avoid crowds - good for writers or thinkers perhaps. # Dry microclimate: you feel like in Greece for a change, not a greenhouse. # Wonderful vistas from a promenade to the west and other high points. # Some choice of vegan food in certain restos. # Low prices. # So close to Bkk, 4 hrs by bus and ferry in total. # Smiling friendly locals. Be aware of sea urchins (bring plastic shoes) and jellyfish in the ocean. Be prepared that life slows down rapidly right after disembarking and you might need some time to get in sync.

Paradise. Small, quaint peaceful little island without too many tourists. Immerse yourself in Thai culuture and be sure to check out the amazing Chinese temple, talk a walk along Asdang pier and catch the sunset from Hat Tham Phang Beach. Don't forget to grab a bite of some delicious fresh seafood while you're there.

Just off sriracha district by public boat 30 minutes to arrive Sri Chang Island which has a blue green sea. A chinese shrine. Several beach and plenty of sun light to melt you down.

Lots to see, buy, drink and eat in Lat Krabang, at the Paseo Mall. Relaxed vibe throughout this retro style mall, which is spaciously spread over several indoor and outdoor sections and, split over two (2) levels, with ample enough car parking at the rear, too. The Food Mall is a great spot for lunch and diner and there are plenty of services, ranging from banking to educational and health, here too.

It's a pretty standard shopping mall. I just came today to put some credit on my phone at the AIS shop. The ladies were helpful, I got good service. There is a Chester's, McDonalds and KFC for the westerners and the usual array of Thai cuisine on offer.

Honestly I would says I don't kike but next to another mall Robinson is better.

Nice place to kill some time and spend the last Baht. There's a small food "mall" outside which is quite simple but connected to this there are lots of Western restaurants and cafés, a small "mall" with clothing-, tech- and pharmacy-stores and billions of ATMs. There are also two(?) larger supermarkets with a great variety of worldwide food and in the evening the outside part turns into a lively streetfood market - and it's clean!!! Ate for 85 Baht all in all and it was the cheapest and best Thai food I had during my whole holidays.

I only recommend this if you're already around, but it's a great mall for food lovers. First, there's a food market with great variety. Second, there's a lot of famous food chains like McDonald's, kfc and pizza hot.

Safari World is a fun place to spend a day, especially if you enjoy animal shows and light adventure. We were able to watch the Spy War, dolphin, and sea lion shows, and each one had its own entertaining moments. The bus tour was also a nice way to see different animals up close without too much effort. One of the highlights was feeding the giraffes, which was simple but memorable. The weather was good, so lunchtime wasn’t too hot, and there were shaded spots to rest. Just be ready for a lot of walking since the park is quite wide. Overall, it’s a good experience for families and friends who want a mix of shows, animals, and easy sightseeing.

Safari World Bangkok is a fun-filled, family-friendly adventure! 🐯🦒🚗 The drive-through safari was an unforgettable experience — lions, zebras, giraffes, and more, roaming freely around your car. The Marine Park is packed with entertaining shows — from dolphins and sea lions to cowboy stunts and Hollywood action. It’s well-organized, clean, and perfect for kids and adults alike. Food options are good, and there are plenty of shady spots to relax. Highly recommended for a full day of wildlife and fun.

Most shows happen twice a day, so plan your visit accordingly to make the most of it. Every show is worth your time and perfect for families. For better ticket prices, book through Agoda or other online travel portals — they usually offer great discounts. If you plan to visit Safari World, note that you can either drive your own car through the park or pay 100 Baht per person for the safari bus (in addition to the admission ticket). The safari itself takes about 30 minutes — it’s nice but don’t expect the kind of up-close tiger encounters you might see in promotional pictures. If you’ve booked a ticket with lunch included, you’ll enjoy a buffet meal at one of their restaurants. The lunch was really good — they had separate counters for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, which we appreciated. For feeding animals, the prices vary from 100–300 Baht depending on the animal. Restrooms are available at many places inside the park, which is convenient. A small tip — bottled water (500 ml) inside costs around 30 Baht, so it’s better to carry your own bottle. You can refill it during the buffet lunch. They played 2-3 indian songs during dolphin show. Overall, don’t pay too much attention to negative reviews — it’s truly one of the best one-time experiences you can have in Bangkok, especially for families and kids. Highly recommended! 🌿🦒🐬

We went on a group tour. Well this place is good for children and adults with 4 different shows that happen everyday (chimpangee, dolphin, sealion and elephant show). It takes you whole day. Giraffe feeding was 200 bhat each and taking a picture with eagle was 400 bhat each. We were fed indian buffet lunch(not recommended). We eneded up eating outside the buffet as it was very much unorganized. The resturants are all animal themed. The safari world is where you drive with you van or car inside a protected area. We did not enjoy it. However we got to see tiger, bear and more animals. The zoo was supercrowded as many tour groups and students from school were there when we visited. An okish experience.

My recent visit to Safari World Bangkok was, without a single doubt, one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Thailand. From the moment we arrived, the excitement was palpable, and the entire experience far exceeded our already high expectations. This isn't just an attraction; it's a full-day immersion into the wonders of the animal kingdom, brilliantly split into two distinct and thrilling sections. We began our adventure with the iconic Safari Park drive-through. It felt surreal to be driving through expansive landscapes with majestic giraffes gracefully wandering past our windows, herds of zebras and antelope grazing peacefully, and powerful lions lounging just a few meters away. It was like being transported directly to the heart of an African savanna, all while being in Bangkok. The animals appeared healthy, active, and well-cared-for in their spacious enclosures. After the drive, we entered the Marine Park, which is a vibrant hub of activity. The shows here are nothing short of spectacular. The Dolphin Show was a beautiful display of agility and intelligence, while the Spy War stunt show had our entire group on the edge of our seats with its high-octane action and incredible special effects. However, the most magical moments were the interactive encounters. Feeding the gentle giraffes, who eagerly yet politely took lettuce leaves right from our hands, was a heartwarming and unforgettable experience that we captured in countless photos. The park is impeccably clean, the pathways are well-signposted, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. We spent a solid eight hours here and still felt like we could have seen more. Safari World has masterfully created a perfect blend of education, conservation, and pure, unadulterated entertainment. It is worth every baht and every minute of your time. I cannot recommend it highly enough for families, couples, and solo travelers alike—it’s a true gem and a must-visit destination in Bangkok

A wonderful place with many animals to see, including tigers, zebras, and many more. The Terrest Giraffe experience is definitely worth it, but do note there’s an additional charge. And don’t miss the dolphin show, it’s absolutely fantastic! You can get all the tickets on the Klook app.

One of the well known floating markets while approaching Bangkok from Marine & Safari World. The Market closes by 5 pm. We were late to reach when we saw empty markets with nice crossover bridges, clear water with fishes, artificial trees, selfie points and nearby Buddha temple. A small shop sells fresh bakery items especially various types of traditional breads of the area.

👍 very good and relaxing place to visit during the weekends. Quite a nice place with good local food, desserts, and Thai drinks. 🥤 You won’t be disappointed. Must feed the fish 🐟. Buy a few bread packets - it’s not expensive. Also suggest to take the boat ride to enjoy a peaceful canal ride. 😊 I visit once every month to feed the fish some bread. 🍞

Once (pre-Covid) a very busy “floating market” on weekends, it has become a bit of a disappointment with many shops closed. The market is along both sides of the canal and can be entered from the 2 temples on both sides.

Today I visited Siam Amazing Park, one of the largest amusement and water parks in Bangkok, and it was truly a fun-filled experience. The park is very big and has a mix of thrilling rides, family attractions, and a massive water park. The amusement rides were exciting, especially the roller coasters and high-speed attractions which gave an adrenaline rush. For families and kids, there are gentler rides and themed areas that are perfect for spending time together. The water park was a highlight, especially the giant wave pool and long water slides—it was refreshing in the Bangkok heat. The pools were clean and well maintained, and lifeguards were attentive. Food options inside the park were decent, with a variety of Thai snacks, fast food, and drinks to keep you energized throughout the day. ✨ Overall, Siam Amazing Park is a great place to enjoy with friends or family. It offers both relaxation and adventure in one spot. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok who wants a mix of thrill and fun.

Siam Amazing Park really lives up to its name — it was absolutely amazing! My friends and I had such a fantastic time there. From the fun rides to the relaxing atmosphere, everything was just perfect. We laughed so much and made such great memories! The buffet was another highlight — so delicious and full of variety. Everything tasted fresh and really satisfying after all the excitement. What touched me the most was the kindness of the staff. I accidentally lost my spectacles during our visit, and they not only found them but also sent them back to me by post, carefully wrapped. I was honestly so impressed and grateful for how thoughtful and professional they were. It’s rare to find a place that’s both this fun and this caring. This amusement park has a lot of fun rides, though some were closed during our visit. The water park area is great, but a few parts were under maintenance. The new pirate ship zone is very exciting and the kids loved it! Some areas look a bit old, but it seems they’re gradually improving them. The food inside is tasty and reasonably priced. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for families to relax and enjoy a full day of fun with kids.

I had lots of fun it’s not a huge park, but there’s a few solid things to do in the regular park and the water park. I was able to get front row seats on all the roller coasters and the food was surprisingly good too. No waits for the rides either

The waterpark wasn’t as fun as the one we used to visit a few years ago, but the other rides were just as enjoyable as those we’ve tried before. The weather was perfect, and overall, we had a really great experience. I tried a few rides, and since we went on a weekday, there were fewer people—and best of all, no lines at all for the rides! The buffet was also a highlight, with plenty of options and even ice cream. The only downside was having to walk back to the entrance, which was a bit inconvenient.

A Serene and Beautiful Temple This temple is truly a peaceful haven with a quiet ambiance, away from the usual crowds. The architecture is beautiful, especially the serene face of Buddha which adds to the spiritual atmosphere. I also noticed a couple of monks around, which made the experience feel even more authentic and calming. There’s a souvenir shop inside the temple where you can pick up small mementos. They also conduct rituals and poojas for those interested. Overall, a lovely place to visit for some peace and spiritual reflection.

A Hidden Gem with Rich History and Majestic Beauty Wat Trai Mit Witthayaram Worawihan is an absolute must-visit for anyone exploring Bangkok. Located near Chinatown, this temple may seem modest at first glance, but it houses one of the most remarkable treasures in Thailand — the Golden Buddha. The main attraction is the 5.5-ton solid gold statue of Buddha, seated in the traditional Sukhothai style. The sheer size and historical significance of this statue are awe-inspiring. What’s even more fascinating is the story behind it — for centuries, the statue was covered in plaster to protect it from invaders, only to be rediscovered as solid gold during a move in the 1950s when some of the outer layer chipped off. The temple complex is clean, well-maintained, and not overwhelmingly crowded (especially if you visit early in the day). There’s also a small museum on the lower floor that provides context about the Golden Buddha’s history, its accidental rediscovery, and the rich heritage of Thai-Chinese culture in the area. I come here to eat regularly. The food is delicious and the price is not expensive. There is parking but it is difficult to park because it is narrow. It is better to come at night than during the day. During the day, there are not many shops open.

This temple is a wonderful and serene space to visit. It offers spectacular views of the city and quiet from all the noise. The grounds are well maintained, they have refreshments both at the bottom and top of the temple, the restrooms are very clean, and there are gift shops as well. They provide clothing, if you aren't dressed appropriately, for a fee. The current entrance fee is 100 baht and well worth it if you can get here when it's not busy.

Wanted to do something wholesome and see a nice view of bangkok, so I checked out the Golden Mount. It’s a pretty big place with an area to walk around on the bottom and a shrine inside at the too, bells and bongs to hit as you come up to the skyline. There are a few steps, they’re small in size but loads of places to take some great pictures. It’s-only ฿100 but you must be covered (females cover shoulders and ankles) as it is an active place with Monks walking around. Loads of waterfalls and 360 views of Bangkok. Its meant to be really nice for sunset. I went in the morning and there was no wait but could change throughout the day! Such a beautiful place and view!

What an amazing opportunity to have!! To be here at the the Golden Mount Wat Saket🇹🇭❤️💯 Climbing to the top is like ascending to the spiritual heights of Bangkok, with the echo of ancient gongs and bells and tricking of waterfalls adorned with buddhas, this felt like a very special moment. Once you find your way to the peak you see the whole city and are greeted by the Golden Peak. What an amazing place and time. I recommend going just before sunset so you can take advantage of the daytime view, sunset and the golden hour as it graces all who venture to the peak with an amazing view😍🇹🇭❤️

Wat Saket – The Golden Mount is an absolute must-see in Bangkok. The climb up the 344 gentle steps is surprisingly easy and even feels fun, with plenty of spots to pause and catch your breath along the way. It’s also very doable with kids, who will enjoy all the little things to explore. At the top, you’re rewarded with a stunning panoramic view of Bangkok in every direction. Along the path and around the temple grounds, there are lots of charming details to discover – statues, small waterfalls, and ringing bells – which make the visit engaging for all ages. There’s also a drink stand at the top with very affordable prices, perfect for cooling down after the walk up. Overall, it’s a beautifully maintained and atmospheric site, offering both cultural interest and a fun experience for families. Truly a must-visit in Bangkok. Entrance fee is 100 THB per person, children are free. Temple clothing regulation are less strict.

The entrance fee is relatively cheaper than that of many temples in the city centre, and it’s pleasantly free from large crowds. There’s no lift, so be prepared to climb the stairs—but once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Bangkok.

Phu Khao Thong, "Golden Mountain" is a steep artificial hill within the compound of Wat Saket. At the summit of the hill is a small chedi containing a sacred relic of The Buddha. The top of the mount offers breathtaking views of Bangkok and is well worth the climb.

I arrived about 1 hour before closing, and many of the shops and the temple were already closed and not accessible. However, I still managed to see the temple and took the steps to have a bird's eye view of the city from the top. I definitely should have come earlier to experience more of this temple in the future.

Asiatique The Riverfront is one of my favorite spots to visit in Bangkok! It’s not just a shopping area — it’s also one of the main piers for dinner cruises, so it’s very convenient if you plan to enjoy a river cruise in the evening. The place itself is beautiful and aesthetic, with lots of charming corners perfect for taking photos, especially around sunset when the lights start to glow. There are many souvenir shops selling cute and unique items at reasonable prices, much cheaper than in many other tourist areas. The food options are great too, from street snacks to proper restaurants, so you can easily spend hours walking around, shopping, and eating. There’s also a ferris wheel, which looks beautiful at night, though the ticket price is quite high compared to other attractions. Still, it adds a nice touch to the riverside skyline. One tip — when you’re waiting for a Grab or Bolt, don’t do it from the front entrance, as it’s usually very crowded and confusing for drivers. Instead, go to the north gate, where pickup is much easier and faster. Overall, Asiatique is a must-visit spot for shopping, dining, and sightseeing by the river!

Along the riverside, you’ll also find boats offering different excursions—an ideal way to see Bangkok from the water. When it comes to food, Asiatique doesn’t disappoint: there’s a great choice of restaurants, mostly serving delicious Thai cuisine. Whether you’re shopping, sightseeing, or just enjoying the river breeze, Asiatique is absolutely worth a visit.

Great place to visit with great shops and restaurants. There’s definitely something for everyone at Asiatique. Best way to access is on a river boat and experience as well a small river cruise. Evenings are a bit better, less hot. Pretty busy but not overcrowded in my opinion. Another must-do in Bangkok.

Nice place to chill out. Lots of restaurants and shops to buy souvenirs from. The Jurassic Park entertainment park has also opened recently. Also, most of the Chao Phraya dinner cruises leave from the Asiatic Riverfront. There is a large Ferris wheel also around and nice food stalls. Good place to spend the evening with family.

This is a modern market with plenty of shops and drinking and eating establishments specifically tailored to tourists. In fact I see most were brought here by their tour group guides. As such the prices are much higher than what you can find in the more traditional ones. Buyers beware I suppose. They did offer the free shuttle boat to/from the Sathorn pier FYI.

Great place, plenty to offer, from the very young (game arcades) to the more mature. There are so many different choices of food, great choices and the quality of food we had was great. You can also go onboard a boat after buying a ticket and go up the river enjoying the food and drink aboard. Or simply sit in one of the bars and people watch the others passing by. The area opens up from circa 5pm. Really good vibe to the place, it's busy but not overwhelming.

A wonderful temple complex! Very well maintained, because it is the religious place of the royal family. All the buildings are amazingly decorated, in bright colors, with extraordinary meticulousness. It looks like the palaces from childhood stories. Very crowded, rigorous control at the entrance, with scanners and military personnel. You need about 60-90 minutes to visit it, together with the Royal Palace (this is only the outside)

A breathtaking temple complex. The whole area has incredible buildings, some are not open to the public but you can still walk around them and enjoy the facades and architecture. Like any other Buddhist temple you need to take your shoes off to visit the Emerald Buddha which is magnificent.

Wat Pho completely surprised us! From the outside it looks impressive, but once you step inside, you realise just how big the temple grounds really are. There’s so much to explore — from the beautiful pagodas to the peaceful courtyards. We also learned a lot while walking around. Wat Pho is actually considered the birthplace of traditional Thai massage, and you can see murals and inscriptions that teach about healing, meditation, and ancient Thai medicine. It’s such an interesting place if you enjoy culture and history. But the absolute highlight for us was the Reclining Buddha. I was honestly in shock when I saw it — it’s HUGE and absolutely stunning up close! The gold, the details on the feet, everything… it’s breathtaking and impossible to capture fully in photos. Definitely one of the must-see temples in Bangkok. Beautiful, educational, and unforgettable. Photos do not do it justice!!

The temple is also the birthplace of traditional Thai massage, giving you the chance to experience an authentic treatment; a one-hour oil massage is recommended for deep relaxation, and it’s helpful to request a blanket because the air-conditioning can be quite strong. Keep in mind that tickets can only be purchased with cash.

Seeing some of the girls dressed in traditional outfits was a nice touch too. You could easily spend a couple of hours exploring the place. Tickets were easy to get on location.

I absolutely love coming to this place. From the narrow streets outside with all the super local spots, to inside at the temple. Its amazing and the energy is something to feel. Outside you can rent traditional Thai clothing to venture in and have photoshoots done (amazing experience btw). They have great food places around. You can access Wat Arun by car or boat (recommend taking the boat in atleast once). Traffic can get bad depending upon the time of day. At night this place is insanely beautiful viewing from a distance as its all lit up. Must see spot for sunrise and sunset. Bathrooms easily accessible. Entrance easy going and quick (you get a free water). I always visit whenever I am in BKK.
