Art gallery
Art museum
The Pinacoteca de São Paulo stands as a testament to Brazil's rich artistic heritage, making it one of the country's oldest and most significant art museums. Nestled in a stunning neoclassical structure originally designed for the School of Arts and Crafts, this museum showcases an impressive collection that ranges from 19th-century Brazilian paintings and sculptures to contemporary works. Its history is intertwined with various historical events, including conflicts in the early 20th century, which adds depth to its narrative.
Beautiful art museum! Museum has 3 levels, there is also a balcony on the front and back of the building on the 3rd level that has a nice view of the street and in the back a nice view of the park. I would make sure that if you are outside in the street don’t stay for long or take your phone out at all. There are many many homeless people in the area that steal from people regularly.
Brandon H — Google review
Definitely worth paying R30 for this museum as it has so many exhibitions and they were all amazing! The exhibitions were also in English and made it so much easier for us to enjoy! The ticket also includes the contemporary art in another building. We ended up spending over 2 hours here but could’ve easily spend half a day here. Highly recommend this to everyone!
James P — Google review
I enjoyed this art museum. It has a nice mix of old art and contemporary art. The only artist I actually knew about before visiting is a Rodin statue. But it was fun to learn more about Brazilian artists. I was hoping to visit some other art museums but all the other museums were closed on Monday...But the Pinacoteca was open! They get an extra star just for being open on the day I was in town. The gardens around the museum are beautiful and peaceful. But the restaurant had a long line so I did not get to eat there.
Daniel K — Google review
I loved this gallery. The exhibits are diverse, well curated, and educational for those new to Brazilian artists. There’s a cafe and shop worthy of stops, too. Highly recommend!

Amaizing! The place is huge, recomend to spend several hours admiring all the art pieces. Very close to metro station, wakable distance

My favourite art museum in Sao Paulo! It's huge as well, reserve at least 2 hours to visit. The expositions change constantly, so it's always worth it to visit.
Ana — Google review
This is a fascinating house with many rooms of art by different artists. The ladscaping breathtaking and the day i was there live music and artistic acts. Right across the street from the famous Luz station
Paul C — Google review
One of the most beautiful museums I've been to. They have a great selection of pieces, with differing mediums, the space is clean and comfortable. The main entry goes thru a sunroom with super high glass ceilings, currently showing pieces done with wood, so you can smell the sap being warned by the sun. The staff was friendly and kind, very helpful and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. The pieces being showcased are very well selected, I think. And the infrastructure is beautiful.

Mercado Municipal de São Paulo

Market
Shopping
The Mercado Municipal Paulistano, also known as Mercadao, is a historic market located in the old city center of Centro. Built in the 1930s, this magnificent market hall features skylights and stained-glass windows and is bustling with vendors offering rare fruits, vegetables, dairy produce, meat, fish, and more.
Interesting experience and many options to try and choose from. Just know that when they offer you samples, you will end up buying stuff and they don’t give you the price until they already wrapped and bagged things. You’ll end up paying 60 USD for 4 piece of fruit, which you can find in typical stores for 10 dollars.
Parihan R — Google review
This is a well-organized and clean market that offers a wide range of goods—from preserved meats, fresh fish, and spices to nuts and other local products. While it seems to have become more of a tourist attraction than a place locals frequent for daily shopping, it’s still worth a visit. The second floor has sit-down restaurants, making it a good spot to take a break and enjoy a proper meal. Prices are reasonable overall. One of the highlights here is the famous mortadella sandwich—a must-try if you’re visiting for the first time. Overall, a nice place to explore local flavors and pick up a few souvenirs or snacks. Just expect a more tourist-oriented vibe.
Andrew G — Google review
Landed in São Paulo after a red eye so we needed to stay awake so we could sleep tonight…dropped off bags, showered, and headed to the market, one of my absolute favorite places in SP! Our driver took great care of us as he guided us to a friend working a fruit stall where we ate our fill in samples of some of the best tasting fruit you’ll ever try…Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Yellow Avocado, Jack Fruit, Strawberries wrapped in dates, zero filter on that 🍊orange slice it was amazing! Got some dehydrated provolone discs and cubes of Parmesan…could spend hours in this market…a must stop when you come up São Paulo 🙌🏽
Eugene J — Google review
An incredible place to discover local and international exotic fruits and vegetables, meat vendors, pubs, bars, restaurants and much much more. A lively and bustling vibe. The only precaution, rather don't walk to this destination. Take a bus, taxi or Uber which takes you directly to this market.
Ele V — Google review
We came here close to the closing time but we still manage to grant our sandwich. The main reason we came to this market was to try this sandwich and it did not disappoint. The market itself has a lot of stalls, with nuts, fish, fruit, cheese and charcuterie and places to sit down and eat and drink. It's a nice stop if you are in the area.
Ana C — Google review
Not quite authentic. Lots of replication of stalls and restaurants. But it was a great mix of fruit, meats, seafood, wine bars, and restaurants. It's very clean and has a great energy. Maybe avoid the folks offering free samples but do try the cod pastel and the mortadela sandwiches. It just sit down for a glass of wine.
Gabriel B — Google review
Amazing place to shop for meat, cheese, olives, peanuts, sweets, fruit and also includes large restaurants that you can get the Mortadella Sandwich. Boca’s was the best place for Pastels (they actually fill them full and are overflowing with meat. The Maine sandwich shop (called Maine) was the best for Mortadellas. Be aware that the sales in this market are very aggressive and pushy. They will practically cut fruit and put it in your mouth as samples. The restaurants will practically hold your hand to seat you so that you order food. Didn’t bother me and all you need to do is stand your ground. One American to another 🇺🇸 😉
Sammy S — Google review
Be careful! The place is beautiful and historic, but the fruit vendors take advantage of tourists. I was asking about the price of the fruit, they gave me several to try, and then they charged me a lot of money for just a few pieces. Since they were "local" fruits, I thought the price would be a bit more expensive, but it turned out they were ripping people off. DON'T TRUST THEM. It was a horrible experience to not feel safe. I wasn't bargaining or denying to pay the correct price and yet they took advantage. My worst experience in SP.

Museums
Museu Catavento, located in the heart of Sao Paulo, is an interactive science museum housed in a beautifully restored Palacio das Industrias. Opened in 2009, it offers a hands-on experience for visitors of all ages and aims to provide social and educational experiences. The museum features engaging exhibits on science and technology, making learning fun for both children and adults.
I was thoroughly impressed by this museum. I loved the ample amount of cheap parking, the huge outdoor area, the beautiful architecture of the buildings, the history of the place, etc. This place was very good for small children because they could move around much of the area unrestricted with a parent’s watchful supervision.

Absolutely brilliant and interesting inside out. You will find infos about transportation and how it evolved in time, replicas and real trains, planes. Inside you can check the wild nature based photography expo, be mesmerised by optic illusions, learning physics through games and experimenting or see the evolution and extinction of life on earth. There is also an anatomy section which describes the processes in the body and presents the human DNA at a huge scale.
Tamara C — Google review
Great museum and a positively surprising experience. Enjoyed learning about Brazil’s landscape and vegetation zones. Some experiments were also new to me. So all in all a pleasant afternoon.
Sabine M — Google review
Absolutely epic! Full ticket price of 18reais gets you access to exhibits on life, space, geology, transport and more. Thrilled to see that they'd partnered up with London's natural history museum for the wildlife photography contest. Funnily enough that's the other museum I always come out thinking that I must return back to since there's more to do in just a single day. Same goes here! A must-see
Marco B — Google review
The museum is incredible, with so many things to see! It's an ideal place for families due to the numerous interactive exhibits. The first floor is geared more towards children, while the second floor features plenty of reading materials, so I recommend it for ages 12+. The architecture is truly stunning. Just one tip: arrive early to have a better chance to explore and play with everything.
Julieta C — Google review
My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The kids enjoyed the dedicated play area and the swimming pool. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs, even arranging a late check-out. The rooms were spacious and very clean, perfect for our family.

Aquarium
Zoos & Aquariums
Zoo
Aquário de São Paulo, located in the Ipiranga neighborhood of Brazil, is a spacious and impressive aquarium that offers an array of attractions. Visitors can explore thousands of animals from both aquatic and land environments, including sloths, seals, penguins, bats, koalas, and more. The aquarium showcases a diverse range of marine life such as sharks, manatees, alligators, otters as well as various fish species like tangs, piranhas and eels.
Variety of animals. Great staff. Buy your ticket in advance, on their site. The animals look healthy and at ease. Please respect the silence in certain areas... The otters in particular get spooked easily. Otherwise you may not be able to spot them. The aquarium has a specific route you have to follow, so it may end up being a bit crowded in some places in the aquarium part of the route. There's a big restaurant area, a smaller cafeteria and a few shops where you can buy souvenirs. I'd suggest that you wait to buy things until the last shop, so you don't lost too much time. We ended up spending 3h+ in the aquarium.
Arne S — Google review
You can buy tickets inside cash only or pix It was lovely seeing all the fish, insects and animals. Especially see how big some of the fish are, was kind of crazy compared to what I'm use to. Was very quiet which was nice no over crowding and seemed like a reasonable amount of space in the enclosures, seemed quite big for some of the animals. I just hope it was cold enough for the polar bears.
Honor M — Google review
We had such a great time at the Aquário de São Paulo! I went with my sister and my one-year-old nephew, and it was a fantastic experience for all of us. The aquarium is much bigger than we expected, with a wide variety of animals — from colorful fish and sharks to penguins, kangaroos, and even polar bears! Everything is well organized, clean, and easy to navigate, even with a stroller. The themed areas are super creative and immersive, and there’s always something new and exciting around each corner. My nephew was completely mesmerized the whole time, and honestly, so were we! It’s the perfect place for a family outing — fun, educational, and full of surprises. Highly recommended!
Rodrigo L — Google review
The place was beautiful. It just needed a little more cleaning. Other than that, it was very fun and spacious enough for the whole family. Highly recommended.
Lau M — Google review
It's amazing, a lot of diversity in not just fish's, polar bears and even shark's, just fantastic.
Murilo J — Google review
It looks small but is actually quite large. Family oriented and has many exhibits to see. Parking is difficult.
Eddie S — Google review
This was an amazing aquarium recommended by a friend. It looks small from the outside but as you walk through it you realized just how big it is! They have the cutest new polar bear to see. If you are not from Brazil I highly recommend pulling out cash before going and just paying with cash to enter. They don’t accept international cards.
Brandon C — Google review
It's an amazing park. Worth it a lot! For kids and family, but also for couples or even singles. Very organized and full of not only aquatic animals but also from African and Asian countries. The animals seems very treated and confortble. The only bad thing to me it's the location. Not easy to find. Maybe because I'm a tourist.

A beautiful place, it's a very well-organized zoo, the staff is super helpful and welcoming, the Animals look very healthy, as if they're well taken care of. I absolutely loved this place and recommend buying the combo at a discount. Also, plan to come early in the morning, because it is gigantic and you wouldn't want to miss out on seeing anything.
Akku G — Google review
A good whole days outing . I was generally favourably impressed with the enclosures in relation to their occupants , the only ones I had some reservations about were the Condors & the Harpy Eagles which are such huge birds. The zoo is well laid out & all the exhibits are labelled in both English & Portuguese. Particularly impressed with the bird enclosures & was very , very lucky to attend on the very day that the critically endangered Spix Macaw ( 2 of them ) were released into their new aviary. Some impressive murals on walls around the zoo. Large lake , refreshment outlets & a shop.
Keith H — Google review
We did the night experience at the zoo, where you walk around a night following a dedicated path/ green line through the exhibits of the park. You don’t get to experience everything but you do see a lot! Elephant, giraffes, lions, and a hippo really up close! There is a place to get snacks like popcorn and candy but the other food that’s 1/2 way along your journey looked dried out and nasty. The popcorn was good though!
Brandon H — Google review
The São Paulo Zoo (Zoológico de São Paulo) is a fantastic destination for families and animal lovers! With over 3,000 animals, including rare species like jaguars and golden lion tamarins, it offers an engaging and educational experience. The lush Atlantic Forest setting makes it feel immersive. Some enclosures could be more modern, but conservation efforts are commendable. A great day out! 🦁🌿 #SãoPauloZoo #Wildlife
Gabriel B — Google review
It was good generally but some animals weren't in pairs which leads to their suffering without a companion. Amd there weren't enough guiding maps for visitors. There was only one at the entrance.

It's a marvelous place to spend the day. A good place for young kids and family in general. There's tap water for free. Also you'll find places to rest along the way, because it's a very big place. Not tourist friendly. Staff can’t speak any word English. On the site there is a price at 40, but on arrival they double it. When we wanted to order online the website did not work. Then the cashier Said we could not enter because it will rain soon. After multiple times asking we could go in, but lost apxm one hour at entrance! Locker costs 25Rs

This place is COOL. And it has more fun than you can handle in one day. To go there and think you'll want to go home because you are so tired, think again, that's when you get your second wind.
Vernon E — Google review
We went to stay two nights and left after lunch on the first day. The place looks nothing like the photos on the website. It was dirty, blankets from last century, food served was dry and very little variety. The way it was served was with a lack of interest as was the general feeling of all the park. A real pity for our 10 year olds birthday surprise
Christopher M — Google review
The food seemed reasonable to me. Espatinhos, mini pizzas, and pastéis were all R$7 and were as good quality as you would find in any Festa Junina. The pastel was even big. The baru was particularly good. The park was very cute. It was obvious they paid attention to the small details. The rides were a lot of fun, especially the Nitro-x and the other ride right next to it (that one was maybe even better!) We spent about 7 hours there and didn't even do everything. It could be worth it to stay the night at the Posada and spend the whole weekend there.

Tramways
The Santos Touristic Tram offers guided tours of the city center aboard restored trams, departing from an 1867 railway station. This original 1920 electric street car provides a picturesque way to explore the historical center of Santos, one of Brazil's oldest settlements. The ride offers a glimpse into the city's past and creates an open-air museum experience for tourists. Despite being in Portuguese, the tour is still worth it for its unique perspective on the old town of Santos.
Short route finished in 15 minutes, going around Old Santos. Many historic sites pointed out. Free espresso to sample nearby Rei Do Cafe.

All old towns have trams :D Whether it's in Europe or Brazil. It is very nice to see an old tram in such nice condition. Together with the buildings surrounding it, it is a beautiful example of the old town of Santos. Being there, you can feel the atmosphere of the past. You can also feel like in Europe, but unfortunately there such cultural values are neglected and often replaced by modernity. It is a good starting point for exploring the old town of Santos.

Very nice the little trip. Recommended. I've already done it twice. I only missed the cafeteria this time.

Cool little train ride through the historic center of Santos. Unfortunately all information provided is in Portuguese. Still worth it for 7 reais! The ride takes about 15 minutes and drops you off again where you started. There’s vendors of artisanal craft, food and beverages next to that point.

This would actually be much more enjoyable any day other than Sunday. On Sunday everything is closed.

Santos is one of the oldest Brazilian cities and the Touristic Tram is a good opportunity to know more about Santos and it’s history on board of the trams builded in 1922 and 1911.
Paula L — Google review
The train itself is very nice but the tour is very short and not very interesting. The buildings at that part of Santos are in need of restoration as most of them are derelict. A shame as it was a beautiful area one day.

Museu do Café

Specialty Museums
Museu do Café, located in the historic Coffee Exchange building in Downtown Santos, offers a captivating journey through the history of Brazilian coffee. The museum showcases the significance of coffee to Brazil's economy and provides insights into the quality of coffee beans produced in the country. Visitors can explore exhibits on the history of coffee trading and even participate in barista classes. The grandiose architecture adds to the allure of this museum, making it a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
A fun stop for any java enthusiast — you can learn how the coffee trade shaped Brazil’s history and then enjoy the caffeinated flow of good joe in the café. The interior is well preserved, and the main bidding hall is particularly interesting, both for its beautiful design and its exhibitions chronicling the decades of auctions held at the exchange.
Path F — Google review
The Museo del Café is more than just a stop for a caffeine fix—it’s an experience that wraps history, aroma, and flavor into one visit. You step inside and the scent of freshly roasted beans hits you first, warm and inviting. Then you notice the space itself—walls lined with vintage grinders, old roasting drums, and photographs that tell the story of coffee from its roots to your cup. The museum side walks you through every stage: planting, harvesting, drying, roasting, brewing. You get to see the tools and traditions behind the process, not just the polished final product. It’s the kind of place that makes you appreciate your morning cup in a whole new way. And then there’s the café—cozy tables, natural light, and staff who clearly care about the craft. The coffee is exceptional: rich, full-bodied, with layers of flavor that unfold as it cools. If you’re hungry, their breakfast and pastry options are worth it too—simple, fresh, and made to complement the coffee rather than overshadow it. What really stands out is how relaxed the whole experience feels. You can wander through the exhibits at your own pace, sit for a cup, or just watch the baristas work. It’s the kind of place where you could spend an hour and feel like you’ve both learned something and taken a little break from the rush outside.

I enjoyed the stories on history of coffee and coffee industry in Brazil. The building itself was once in 19th century the coffee exchange office of Santos and still today has amazing good vibe. Some of the art presentations are very interesting - like the coffee mugs flowing out of a cupboard that could be relate to coffee bean being poured out of a sack.
Tt_ H — Google review
Free on Saturday, definitely not worth paying for this in my opinion. The upper floor is hidden away but has maps and history to see, the entire museum you could see in 30 minutes if you dont engage in coffee tasting.
Levi W — Google review
The museum tells the history of coffee in São Paulo state and Brazil, the exhibit is great, it has everything in English, and the building is beautiful. The museum also has a very nice coffee shop serving good coffee and cakes.
Barbara S — Google review
A journey through time! The building inside is beautiful and the architecture is wonderful. Very interesting place, for those who love coffee! It has a cafeteria that serves a brewed coffee that is delicious! ❤ I went in Dec / 20 and on the outside it is covered in renovation, not being able to take photos. In the surroundings there are beautiful buildings that are worth the scenery. The museum itself is fine. The monument is beautiful and, although it is not as interesting a visit in the city as the Aquarium or the Sacred Art Museum, it is worth it. The problem is, ironically, as another comment pointed out, in the cafe. I have the costume of drinking coffees of various types and expected much more from the place. Do not go to the cafeteria because you calculate expensive for ordinary coffees prepared in an ordinary way. If you ask for the museum's iced coffee with milk - which now costs R $ 18.00 and is one of the cheapest items in the establishment - you will leave with the impression that your homemade coffee with a little milk and ice would have came out tastier. Again, go to the museum, don't go to the cafeteria.
Anderson P — Google review
A nice building which is located near Pele Museum. There is a small admission fee. There are lockers where you need to put your bag in and it has a small cafe on the ground floor. Very detailed history on Brazilian coffee, educational with lots of information
Grace L — Google review
Great museum to learn about the farming and processing of coffee beans and extensive history related to coffee. The building is beautiful and there’s also information about the architecture and its origins. All of the information on the walls/signs is displayed in Portuguese but there’s large cards with all the same information in Spanish/English available too. Very informative! Entry was 10 reais.

Gonzaga Beach is a popular destination offering stunning views of the city and mountains. The tree-lined promenade is surrounded by hotels, cafes, bars, and shops, making it a vibrant area for tourists. The beach stretches from Canal 2 to Canal 3 and is located along Ana Costa Avenue, a prominent street in the city. This noble area of Santos boasts numerous dining options, shopping centers, and entertainment venues.
Maybe not as famous as Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, but é uma praia muito bonita. There are multiple beaches along this stretch of Santos, located about 2 hours away from São Paulo. Everything can be seen: tamboréu, beach football, and locals and tourists alike strolling on the beach.

This beach is a very delightful place to be. The sand is very soft and clean. The water of the ocean is very refreshing and calm. The temperature in Santos is stable and often it`s very hot which is very good to swimming. We went there in the fall, so the place was very empty and the sea was quite cold. It is relatively calm, so take the kids, they will love it. You can see a very incredible scenery of the harbor. There are seven canals that cross the city, and usually people who live there use it as a reference. People go to the beach to walk, run, sunbathe, play with their dogs or friends and swim in the water. People also use it to practice sports like volleyball and beach tennis. It is a place to enjoy with the friends and family.

Trilha da Pedra Redonda is a relatively easy hiking trail that starts at the end of Av. das Montanhas or can be reached from the Plato trail. It takes about an hour to complete and offers a tranquil experience through lush greenery. The trail leads to a 1990m rounded peak, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Hikers are advised to wear comfortable clothes and sneakers, bring water, and apply sunscreen due to windy conditions on the rocks and intense sun exposure.

(Translated by Google) Without a doubt, the best trail in Monte Verde. The area is very well maintained by private initiative, with excellent upkeep, clear signage, security, and guidance before the start of the trail, making the entrance fee worthwhile. It's the most suitable option for families, especially older people and children, as the route is easy and accessible. The Platô trail, while very beautiful, is much steeper, more rugged, and longer, requiring physical preparation and extra attention. I recommend both, but each is suited to a different type of visitor and fitness level.

(Translated by Google) The Pico da Pedra Partida is the second highest peak in the Monte Verde region and has a beautiful view of much of the Paraíba Valley. The access trail has signs and red ribbons on some trees along the way, especially in places where there might be some doubt. It took us 1 hour to climb the 900m to the top. And on the way back it took us only 40 minutes. At the top there is a sign indicating the altitude and the name, great for photos. The downside is that access is restricted by MOVE, which charges R$35.90 per person. This amount could easily be used for a "single pass" with access to the 5 peaks in the region. This would both attract more tourists and raise the funds needed to improve and preserve the site.

If you are not physically fit, the trail takes about 2 to 2.5 hours (don't rush to get there) and has complicated and slippery sections. The trail has 2 viewpoints (close to the final destination). Bring good shoes, water, a shirt and long pants. I recommend leaving in the morning, preferably before 9 am, to avoid the midday sun at the top of the split rock. (Original) Paisagem maravilhosa e vale o esforço.

(Translated by Google) This trail is a little more difficult than Pedra Rodada, which has stairs and is very short! I don't recommend doing this trail if you have mobility problems, because at times you'll need a little physical strength to get through certain steep and narrow spots... The trail is well marked and not very well marked, with signs at some points and two really cool viewpoints along the way, to recharge your batteries and admire nature! It's possible to get there without any major problems, because during the holiday season, there are always people going to or coming back from the same place as you... If possible, choose to do this trail while there's daylight and good weather, because it's a 40 to 50 minute walk from the fork that separates the Pedra Rodada/Ronda trails. Unmissable! People who give this trail a bad review must not be physically fit and/or may have gone alone... From Pedra Rodada, the second highest point in the region, you can see Pedra Rodada, which was FULL the day I visited!

(Translated by Google) Excellent for admiring the horizon and the landscape in general. However, considering the profile of São José dos Campos, it should be revitalized, taking advantage of the slope of the land, expanding the tiny deck, and building an attached grandstand with the same wooden profile as the deck, offering comfort to those who appreciate this view. Since it would be a hidden location, it would be necessary to install a security camera, ensuring not only security but also order, preventing crime and undesirable behavior from inconvenient people. The City Hall could authorize the construction of a coffee shop/snack bar next to the deck, with public restrooms (paid), separate for men and women. The responsibility for cleaning and maintenance would be outsourced to a third party. Besides the revenue for the merchant, it would offer convenience to deck users who want to enjoy the landscape for longer. (Original) Excelente para contemplar o horizonte e paisagem em geral. Vale Sul Shopping is the largest and most diverse shopping center in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil. It offers a wide range of designer stores, boutiques, restaurants, and a cinema. The mall features various brand outlets and segments along with health facilities and a gas station. While it may not be the most budget-friendly for international visitors due to higher prices compared to the U.S., it's still an enjoyable place to explore without making big purchases.
Sorry, I didn't went there. Just used as reference to get the approximate distance until a friend's place near the shopping centre.

Nice shopping mall, with a bit of everything. Very big food plaza, with lots of options to choose from, the most famous places are in there. You can find a super market as well as a construction or home renovation store. You arcade gaming. They also have a cinema with lots of options of movie to pick. Lots of places to park your car and sometimes they'll have events happening at the car park.

It's very basic, it's a simple place full of low budget stores. The cinemas are great, but 99% of the movies shown are dubbed in Portuguese. The bowling alley is nice, great place to eat.

Very organized shopping center with ample parking space. There is a good variety of quality products, a movie theater, and restaurants. The prices are typically more elevated but this is a general rule in shopping centers/malls in Brazil.
Nassim D — Google review
I'm a tourist from the U.S and one of my favorite things to do is to see the difference between malls in different countries. Let's just say Brazilian malls are one of my new favorites. I wasn't there to buy anything so I enjoyed just looking around, however, if you were going to buy something it's not very cheap. Example: a Maybelline mascara costs 80 Reais which, for an American, would be $20.00. I would economize, look around, and maybe buy something small, but don't go there for a shopping spree. The food court is great with several options, but, again, the prices and portions are wild for me as a foreigner. Overall, the mall is pretty and clean and I would come here again just to see the different stores.
Larissa M — Google review
A not so huge space. A congested environment during weekend. Just like other malls the ambience is the same and restaurants as usual are crowded. No English speaking guide and Walmart in it is the added advantage. Walmart is not so big as we normally see but a good place for a one stop shop
Ansari S — Google review
I only didn't give it a 5 star because of it's Pet Policy. Like in many other malls in Brazil pets are allowed in, but in this one you have to carry them on your lap. It is also forbidden to leave your pet at the entrance like many other places allow you to. So, if your pet is a lil fatty like mine, choose a different place to go to. Appart from that, very best mall in town.

A very bumpy drive up to the top of this peak but wow is it worth it! I guess you could hike it but I think it’s several kms on not very good road and a steep incline. Worth the trip for sure!

Wonderful place to invest 2 or 3 hours walking among beautiful and harmonious gardens to admire.
Marcos R — Google review
This is a very beautiful and well maintained place with lots of nice shaded spots to take photos and plenty of photo moments to be had if you’re so inclined! One thing I would have liked to have seen more of was signage. There was plenty of general signage about the areas (in Portuguese of course so get your translator ready if you don’t speak the language!) but none specifically for trees and plants. Overall enjoyable, and we spent around 90 minutes wandering around.
Stef M — Google review
Food is amazingly good. Restaurant has incredible views of the mountains and valley, beautiful scenery. Menu is very wide, portions are well served. Staff and service also very attentive and nice. One can also visit the gardens in a park at the restaurant, which is also very much worth the time.
Gabriel K — Google review
Beautiful Park. There you can find thematic gardens ( the theme is the different gardens you can find in different countries). There is a garden Jurassic park themed (they are still building it). It's a good place for a walk or to bring your kids. The landscape is breathtaking!
Juliana I — Google review
A beautiful place to spend some time on, the park has some theme gardens onsite. They also have a restaurant and a souvenirs store. Visits can be guided if you prefer. Its on a mountain so 1.2km up and then 1.2km down. It has some animals (macaw parrot e.g.) and a lot of good spots for making photos. The ticket to visit the park costs BRL 30 (Feb/2020), there's also a quad bike trail (BRL 100). The visit on foot will take you something as 2 hours going up with a guide and down taking photos by yourself.

What I liked: - the town and the beach looked reasonably not too crowded, allowing us to find easily space for ourselves on the beach and at the restaurant What I did not like: - the town is in fact just a short road with some bars and restaurants, but there is not a real attraction to visit after the beach.

Nice beach with some structure and some beach-facing things like restaurants. > Traffic to arrive may be terrible, so pay attention to the period you're visiting. Going on off-season periods is better. > It's not the cleanest beach, but water is good enough for swimming. > You will need to consume (eat or drink) to rent the umbrella and chairs. When I went there it was BRL30 consumption per person. > In comparison to other local beaches, I felt very safe in there. People were friendly and never hostile in any sense.

Nestled in the stunning coastal town of Ubatuba, the Ubatuba Aquarium is a delightful blend of indoor and outdoor experiences that showcases an impressive array of local marine life. Small but very nice and well organized, employees were respectful and knowledgeable. The sharks and penguins were the highlight of the visit but the experience was really good overall, really worth the time.

This aquarium is an excellent opportunity to make a immersion into the beauty and miseries of the sea, this place is prepared for a huge crowd of adults and kids enjoying multiple attractions, it is recomended to buy tickets online in advance to have a quick access to the place, also check the estimated time for some scheduled activities, like feeding the penguins, so you can have the best experience possible here, very recommended
Renner P — Google review
It was smaller than I've been to other places, but close and intimate. Probably crowded I peak season, but July it was perfect. Some signs had English but not all.
Mac S — Google review
Very nice manageable size for children. We saw species we'd never seen before and there is a beautiful shell collection. The tide exhibit was fun. The petting pool was a new experience too. There's a nicely decorated cafe (we got a free coffee with a family ticket) overlooking a play area outside on the promenade. The recycling exhibit was overly sombre at the end of the tour.
Rachel C — Google review
The visit is very pleasant and the path is interesting with posters and exhibitions. The place is not very big but there are spectacular types of marine animals. I suggest to avoid peak time as it could be stressing waiting in the queue. Near the exit, you can touch a number of live examples like the star fish, pepino do mar, etc. There is a small restaurant inside, which can also serve people not in the aquarium from the side overlooking the beach.
