Wet'n Wild

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Park
Wet'n Wild is an expansive and vibrant water park with a multitude of slides, a wave pool, and occasional DJ-led events. While the food court options are limited and slightly expensive, children often delight in the burger meals available. Moreover, there are also more affordable snack choices that benefit parents financially. The staff members are exceptionally helpful and amiable. However, one drawback is the steep price for parking at 50R$, especially when considering the already high ticket price of 99R$.
Great day out, I really enjoyed this water park and my 11year old neice also had fun. The park wasn't busy, queues were short, it was clean and tidy and the food and drink on offer was of a good enough standard. The yellow capsule drop slide was scary but fun, and the white half pipe and family rubber ring slides were my favourite. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone to visit and would go again.
Tristan C — Google review
A very disappointing visit to a very unkept “wet n wild” theme park chain. The water was ice cold, half the rides weren’t operational and most of the food stores were close. We visited on a weekend during these past Christmas school holidays. Wet N Wild, how about not neglecting Brazil’s theme park and ripping off the locals for every penny to enter. It is absolutely outrageous you charge a fee for children under 3 years old. In AUSTRALIA the children’s entry starts at 3 years old so answer me this why are you charging the patron’s in Brazil???? I can not believe we had to pay for my 1 year old son to enter to not even be able to enjoy some play because the water was like the Atlantic. One very disappointing visit to see how much you have let it get run down. Especially when the locals don’t know any different, I will make it clear. WET N WILD BRAZIL you are over priced, you need maintenance and a full renovation. Absolutely appalling how run down this venue had become. My advice: don’t bother wasting your time or your hard earned money at this theme park.
Courtney L — Google review
Wet n wild is a great place to visit if you have little kids or teens. It has a great atmosphere and lots of different ride options. Most of the lines aren't too long except for the Vortex which is about a 30 min wait. Olga, Luiz Carlos and Kevin were very helpful. The food is okay the snack bar is mostly burgers and it's quite unhealthy. The place is a bit worn down - most of the rides haven't been painted in a while and there are very few floaties for rides making the wait longer than it needs to be. However, it was an overall amazing experience.
Lucia B — Google review
Nice place to spend a day but needs a lot of improvements. You can see they didn’t invest one dollar from the day they opened 10-20 years ago. But overall nice
Aleksa P — Google review
Avoid at all costs during the weekend. I went with my 14 yo kid and 10 of his friends. Here is our journey: * Parking is well organized and reasonably priced (r$ 60) * It took us 75 minutes to get in the park - that's because we bought tickets in advance. There was no shade, drinks or staff in the entrance line * We had to wait 60 minutes more in line to get a locker. * We chose a ride that was not too busy. We "only" had to wait 45 minutes in line. That means that it took three hours from the time we arrived to the time we took our first ride. * The kids took another ride and off we went for lunch. 35 minutes in line, and the tables were dirty and full of flies. What an unforgettable experience to have lunch surrounded by thousands of flies. * We took one most popular rides in the afternoon and it was time to go. * In a nutshell, we arrived at 10am and left at 4 pm, for a total of 6 hours in the park. We took 3-4 rides, each of which lasted about 45 seconds. That averages out to 2 hours wait for every minute of riding. * Staff is friendly, but poorly trained. When we want to buy an ice cream, it took staff 3 minutes to sell one popsicle. * Management don't apparently enforce any capacity limit to the park. There were clearly four times more people in the park that there should be. There is zero chance lifeguard could see any kid drowning - which luckily didn't happen. * There is medical examination to be in the park - and there were a few people with obvious and apparent skin diseases that shouldn't be there. That, combined with a 35 degrees Celsius temperature made this trip the worst trip of my last 20 years of life (where I have been travelling extensively for work and tourism across 25+ countries in 5 continents)

Eat before you leave your home. My wife always talk to me that would she like to go in a water club. Although, we live in a city with beach she prefers fresh water. The last month we went to Jundiaí SP and we resolve have fun in a club, so we choose Wet'n Wild. I already paid 50R$ only to park my car under the sun. inside the club we wasted some time find place for accommodation but I not found. However, we like the wave swim and the place for kids. Finally we went have a meal and one more time wast more time in the line. When our time arrived there weren't desks available we had eat standing up under the sun.
Umberto L — Google review
Crazy expensive and over priced. Prices are abusive. Its not as fun as i remembered and I got hurt in qll the rides. Make sure to buy tickets before you go, otherwise you pay $50 more. Plus another $50 just for parking, and another $30 for a locker. Like I said, abusive.

Named after the God of joy and the Goddess of adventure, this park boasts five distinct themed areas: Kaminda Mundi, The Wild West, Infantasia, Mistieri, and Aribabiba. Each zone offers a unique blend of thrilling rides and family-friendly attractions.
Is better to buy in advance but also get the VIP ticket online. Really amazing place for vacation
Zahira T — Google review
It was really good. I visited on a weekend Saturday, and the lines for some rides were crazy long . After 5 hours, I had completed 4 rides and a snack. Wait-time for some attractions were almost 45 mins. The fastest was 10 mins. The vip pass should be incorporated into a ticket, but to pay R$200 in addition to $170 for entry was too crazy especially when buying 4 tickets. If you only have cash their is a location after the Egyptian site that issues a rechargeable card.
Carlos M — Google review
Amazing place more suitable for older kids maybe 8 to 9 years cause the interesting games are for older kids. But it is an amazing structure full of games you would need a whole day for this. The restaurants are not very practical for kids and not super clean. But overall amazing place.
Yasmeen F — Google review
It's a good place, the biggest problem is there's no free water to drink, covid is over already but you can't find water, only way it's to buy a water bottle. The hamburger is really bad but at least is cheap, the buildings is in need of repairs. Now on the good side, a lot of attractions, a big team to help you, organized line and almost all works are smiling.
Matheus M — Google review
Hopi Hari is a nice theme park to spend a day. I highly recommend purchasing the VIP pass because the line wait times prevented us from riding all the rides; the VIP pass is quite expensive though. The rides we rode were fun and the evening show was amazing! The food quality was average but I enjoyed the bacon and cheddar fries.
Lindsay C — Google review
Great place! The day I visited (Feb 9th 2019) the park was very clean and with just a few people inside, I would say 2500 people. The lines were incredibly fast. The restaurants had slow service. The park is recovering from a strong crisis. It has been refurbished and everything is shining new, but the low number of visitors is still a sign that it still have a long way to go. But I loved it! 10!
Vinicius G — Google review
A great place to spend a day with or without children. There are lots of different and varied facilities. It is not possible to pay on the spot in cash just to recharge a card or credit card. The icing on the cake was that anyone who has a birthday gets another card as a gift 🤩
Yifat A — Google review
Great park with very interesting concept: the place is its own country, and fun is the main rule. Unfortunately, they've always had financial issues, which currently leads to ever-in-maintenance attractions and the feeling that all of its potential is going to waste. Some of the coolest attractions were closed on February-21, when we visited the park. Employees are polite and gentle, but nothing compares to the reception at the entrance: clowns and other artists sing, dance and welcome the public, with contagious joy and excitement. They also seem concerned about COVID and wearing a mask is required at 100% of times, besides every attraction is cleaned with alcohol after a guest leaves. Attractions are not as radical as they seem, but roller coasters are definitely worth the experience. The wooden one is not only impressive, but it also crosses the road near the park, and is an unique experience. To avoid the kilometric lines, it's recommended to acquire a VIP pass. However, it costs BRL 120 or more (depending on the day), twice the entrance ticket value. This is expensive for Brazilian standards, but unfortunately it's the only way to have fun and enjoy your day at the park without wasting hours waiting in line. Food is overall too expensive and not tasty, so it's also recommended to take some snacks and try not to eat much. Taking water and sunscreen is also the most important thing and this is located on the countryside, and sun seems to hit differently when compared to São Paulo. To save money, take an Uber from Jundiaí train station. Overall, park fans can get a great experience for an expensive price. I wouldn't recommend it for people who are not willing to spend money, people who are not already willing to give it a chance, or very tall or large people (attractions seem designed for smaller and skinnier people. Most are not fit for people above 120kg, so a bigger person wouldn't fit a roller coaster seat, for example)

Catarina Fashion Outlet

Outlet mall
Shopping
Catarina Fashion Outlet is a contemporary outdoor shopping center that houses factory outlets, many of which are from high-end brands. This open mall offers a range of stores, restaurants, and coffee shops, making it an ideal family day program. The food court provides ample variety for dining options. Additionally, the outlet boasts a plethora of shoes from various Brazilian brands at affordable prices. It is a cool place to spend time and find brand clothes at relatively good prices.
Exceptionally good! Plenty of shoes with many Brazilian brand, all products with really good price and really kills your wallet.
Martin C — Google review
An incredible mix of famous Brazilian brands and many international luxury goods. Be prepared to walk a lot through this enchanting open mall in a beautiful San Roque warm weather. Lots of restaurants options or small bites. Plenty of parking. Don’t forget to visit the lower floor with Adriana Degreas, Pat Bo, Carol Bassi and Tania Bulhões to name a few. Another interesting feature is that you can join a WhatsApp group with news from the brands you appreciate.
Crissy L — Google review
Wasn't open by 11 am, couldn't try food service.
Celso O — Google review
Nice place to visit if you’re in São Paulo. It’s not actually in the capital, but if you have a car, it worth’s the visit. There are several brands there, and if you have an elder together, they offer wheel chairs for free. Just need a brief registration with personal ID. Regarding the prices, not a big deal. Some products have discounts, others don’t. So don’t expect to buy everything you want there.
Bruce — Google review
For you to go from São Paulo all the way there, you have to get, at least, good prices. This is not the case. Only one or other store offer good deal. The food court is very limited but you can bring with you your pet. Parking is another problem. It takes a while to find a spot.
Cezar R — Google review
Cool place to spend some time and buy some brand clothes for a relatively good price.

Beautiful place, very good facilities. Famous brands and a good variety of stores.

Nice place if you pass by. If you are looking for clothes from brands it has enough options. In weekend it is busy, but possible to do. Parking is R$ 8.- (may 2017) what is strange for a middle of nowhere location. But must be that they want to make as much as money as possible :-)

Parque Portugal - Lagoa do Taquaral

City park
Nature & Parks
Parque Portugal, also known as Lagoa do Taquaral, is a renowned city park that features a stunning lagoon and a variety of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The park boasts beautiful trees and flowers of all kinds and is home to families of geese, ducks, and capybaras.
The best park! It was a very hot day but the park is so greeny. I walked in a shade of those big trees, met couple of capybaras enjoying their weekend. The most iconic seems to be a big Protugese style boat at the north of the park.
Borworn B — Google review
Nice park. I liked how the streets were closed off for a running event. It was a nice run around the beautiful streets and lake. Plenty of vendors for some refreshments.
Dave H — Google review
Nice park. Lots of cool local flora and lots of cappybara running around. The little food stands are also nice. We got coconut water and some ice cream and both were delicious. The panda statues at the playground are pretty creepy though...
Brandon S — Google review
If you love capybaras, you can't find a better place to go. Dozens of these friendly rodents roam around the lake. They won't let you touch them or even feed them, but they will let you pretty close. I have a video about it on my YT channel: Curves on the road
Jana C — Google review
Better with family. This is an excellent spot for running, offering wide and varied trails with spots of shade at all times of day, the path was not paved in all places and so it may be muddy in the rain. There is a big ship to explore and beautiful plants. There were paddle boats but they had a cost to try. And some play equipment for kids. Depending on your disposition, this may not be the best place to go if you have limited time. There is not much that distinguishes it from any other large park in the world and it is not well maintained. It was hot and few places to buy water so come prepared.
Benjamin S — Google review
A nice (green) park, kinda small one but still nice, well kept, kids friendly, well located, overcrowded in weekends, parking may be troublesome.
Woody A — Google review
This is a very big park, with no entrance fee! I was impressed to see capybaras chilling everywhere. There is a Planetarium, but i advise to first check out the opening hours. There's a huge ship you can get on and several food stalls with delicious snacks.
Noelia C — Google review
Definitely my favorite park in Campinas! Amazing green scenery views, river, trees, capybaras everywhere. Delicious Açaí and ice cream are the bonus. Very clean and animal friendly park. There are many street cats but they love people and people take care of them too. One of my father in law's cats is from this park and he named her "Serena".

Chocolate farm

Chocolate factory
Sights & Landmarks
The Chocolate farm is a serene and picturesque tourist attraction where various wildlife, including peacocks and other animals, wander freely. Visitors can delight in the tranquil ambiance while exploring the grounds that also house a charming cafe and a chocolate shop. Families will find this farm an enjoyable destination, with plenty of opportunities for children to observe and interact with numerous birds roaming about. The addition of a lovely waterfall enhances the scenic beauty of the surroundings.
We can see a lot of animals here. Kids surely enjoy. It was amazing for my family was we could enter here for free. We recommend to buy their chocolate as souvenirs.
Papipupenta — Google review
We came on a week day so few visitors and less was open. But we got to see the animals and they opened the chocolate store when we came. Had a very interesting tasting and ended up buying some of their very tasty chocolate. We had a little girl with us and she had a great time - especially to clap the goats and see the peacock in all its glory.
Jens O — Google review
This farm was very fun for my family. There were lots of free roaming birds and the little waterfall was beautiful. However, there was no chocolate in sight.
Tim G — Google review
A great and beautiful place to stay a day with your family, good food, good groceries, good coffee. The farm have lot of activities to do in group. Amazing, i love take my bike and go there just to get a cup of coffee and go back home.
Alex S — Google review
Cool place, vwry nice and enjoyable, but no reception if you need to call an Uber back. Nobody speaks English.
Michael V — Google review
Beautiful area. The peacocks 🦚 and other animals are a joy. Great freedom to explore at your own pace. There is a part for native culture but the performance was cancelled because there weren't enough people. There was 10 plus of us there and no one came to explain it was cancelled which I felt was disappointing. There is a chocolate factory that has good products, although I've been to better chocolate factories in Ireland and Italy. Its a great visit for 3 hours but I think they have so much capacity to grow if they added some more activities, particularly with the native culture. It feels a little tacked on. Definitely would visit again and I'd encourage others. ITU the nearby city is also the best city I've visited in Sao Paulo for tourism, so far.
Tommy L — Google review
Sooooo cute! All the animals are friendly emough to eat off the hands of little kids to include the beautiful peacocks and adorable goats. The kids love this place, very interactive and fun for the whole family.

Um dos maiores shoppings do Brasil. Amazing and huge in size and number of stores, this mall has also many different types of restaurants and places to eat, drink and fancy ice creams. Parking is no problem and easy to acess from Dom Pedro highway. The mall had an expansion with a many good restaurants. As it is basically on ground level, it is accessible to people with disabilities. For more travel content, you can check YouTube channel: Curves on the road

Finally I found something delicious and eatable for the foreigners! I’m very happy to visit such a beautiful mall with a lot of different options to eat! That was my favourite station and only the station with waffles 🧇! For some reason they didn’t accept international cards 💳 but we paid cash. It took around 20 min to get my order done but I enjoyed so much! 🤍🤍🤍

Huge shopping centre, plenty of (paid) parking, and a big food court. It has the main mobile phone operators (TIM, Vivo and Claro), big stores, coffee counters as well as many many other shops. Handy to register for Sem Parar and lots of ATMs.

What beautiful place to visit and spend some time enjoying the natural beauty and the rich traditional architecture the place provides you with. It makes you feel like never leaving the place and better yet, everything was free. Plus you leave with some awesome pics to post on your social media. I 100% recommend visiting this place at least once. Sadly, it was closed during my visit.

Such an interesting construction. You will have the chance to see how traditional mills work on the inside and, at the same time, have a great view of Holambra.

Cute place to visit. Such a unique feel and the architecture is very different than the other parts of Brazil we saw. The windmill spins on top and we were fortunate to see it happen. Quiet place to spend a couple of hours. I believe there are shops there that open but we came at a time they were closed.

Parque Zoológico Municipal "Quinzinho de Barros" is a large and popular zoo located in Sorocaba, Brazil. Spanning 15 hectares, it is the second largest zoo in the country in terms of species. The zoo features various animal exhibits, a museum for educational purposes, and a picturesque lake and forest. Visitors can observe rare birds, monkeys, snakes, and other animals while enjoying the tranquil surroundings.
It’s a really worth place to visit. As of April, 2023, entrance fee is 8 BRL per adult, 4 BRL per kid. It’s not so big land, they don’t have any kind of animals such as São Paulo zoo, but it’s not crowded, we can see rare birds, monkeys, snakes and others. Less than 2 hours is enough to see all. We enjoyed our holiday there.

Parque Ecológico de Americana is a sprawling ecological park that serves as a haven for wildlife and a refreshing retreat for visitors. The well-maintained trails make it ideal for activities like jogging or leisurely strolls. The park features natural enclosures housing tapirs, wild cats, flamingos, macaws, hippos, crocodiles, snakes, foxes and wild dogs.
A great zoo! It has a spacious area to walk through and many animals from Brazil, with a few from other countries. The monkeys are fun to watch. That said, few of the enclosures were empty...

Nice zoo, there are a lot of different animals and many animals from brazil. The lion and tiger enclosures were not accessible when we visited. They have many birds ranging from exotic ducks to several types of aras. They also have a hippo, several types of crocodiles, snakes, foxes and wild dogs. There are a couple of enclosures currently empty.
F. N — Google review
I visited this place just to see capibaras. Unfortunately for me, I only saw one. I think it was a bad luck. Besides capibaras, the park takes care of some monkeys, aras, but also some animals that I as European don't know for my continent. So visiting the place was interesting for me. The park is huge and you can spend quite some time with roaming around. To see everything with slow pace, I would say that 2 hours are more than enough. But you can manage to see what you are interested in in about 1 hour, as I did. Entrance tickets to this place are surprisingly cheap, so I would encourage you to visit park and support it this way.

Thermas de São Pedro

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Thermas Water Park is a spacious and enjoyable destination, boasting an array of attractions such as wave pools, slides, waterfalls, and a designated area for children. Snack kiosks cater to visitors' refreshment needs. However, during peak times like October 2022 holidays, the park tends to get overcrowded with long waiting times for popular rides, food services, and restrooms. The limited seating arrangement requires early arrival to secure tables and chairs.
Worth the 180R price tag! We had an amazing fun packed day and only wish we could have stayed longer! They should stay open until 7pm for sure. The wave pool is so much fun and just when you think you have been everywhere there is LOADS more! The only downfall is not being able to bring your own food and drink into the park, I think they would attract more customers if that was the case because once you have paid 180R entrance (I think it's a little bit cheaper if you book online) then you pay 25R for the locker, 25R for the parking and THEN have to pay for food and drink all day it does start to add up, especially if you have a family! However, this will not deter me from going again and again! It looks like they are adding more attractions as well so it can only get better. I wasn't sure what the point of the big castle was but it was nice to look at. I would prefer the lazy river to be deeper and also have a pool that's deep for proper swimming. BEWARE the umbrellas at the table are made from plastic and not material so you can get a nasty bump on the head if you walk into one 😂 GREAT PLACE. Next time we will book to stay there!
Rebecca B — Google review
Is everything going to be fine and the personal make good job nice place for family ist clean and perfect 🤩 really we liked but we pay really more many for just one day, I have just question? Why the people pay for parking that is not good this is not right i think you need be free for people come visit .
2gether B — Google review
The place is nice but has some design flaws. I really like the wave pool, it has around the right depth and having waves for a full 30 minutes every hour is something I did not see in a park before, so that is great. The downside is that the wave pool is not that clean, multiple floating tooth picks and other trash (a pity). The other pools are more clean, but not all pools are transparent. The warmed pool is nice but I find that the pool is very shallow, less than a meter. It is nice that they play music around here and the pool is big enough that you can choose how hard you want the music (by changing the distance). The volcano has just too shallow pools, the pool of just 20 cm deep is a bit useless. The small stream also is too shallow, with 40 cm you cannot really float in the small stream but rather need to almost walk it. The water slides are very nice, but I think they should do something about small kids that move slow on the water slides because they are too light. This makes the lines long and also is not fun for the kids because they basically gets stuck in the slides, this is a problem for the blue whale water slide, the other blue slide, red slide, white/green and white/yellow slide. Maybe more water is a solution?overall, I really like the selection of different water slides and with around 10 slides in the park this is great. I also like they have a large part for young kids to play with water. The food I considered quite affordable in the park, pastels for 12 real is great. The pay per Kilo restaurant is a bit on the expensive side. At the entrance they check you bags for dangerous items. The parking is well arranged in the park. The park claims to be an international park, but one of the things not possible is buying tickets on the creditcard of a non-brazilian person. One thing I miss is a pool that is around 2 meters deep such that you can jump well. I considered the toilets nicely clean. Lockers are decent size.
F. N — Google review
This is a small good place to enjoy. Slides are rather boring, no speed going down and long waiting times to enter. Food is reasonable quality and price. Buying the credits on the card for food is annoying and time consuming. There is 1 thing I really hate about the place (many Brazilian places do this!) when buying the tickets or upgrading your food card, they ask for your social security number. When you buy tickets online, after this process within 5 minutes to start calling and harassing you to sell you stuff. It should be forbidden by law. Asking your social security number is an insult and an infringement on your privacy.
Edwin K — Google review
We went there on a holiday, October, 2022. We arrived at around 9:20, but there were already a lot of people. Around noon, it’s too crowded. We needed to wait for everything, for example, water slider, cafeteria and bathroom. And also there was no enough space in the pool. In addition, their table and chair were limited, we secured it at 9:30. So it’s better to go there early time to save the table and chair. It’s great place for family but we recommend to consider the good date.
Papipupenta — Google review

Areia Que Canta

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Rural farmstay with a lake, offering water sports, fishing & dining, plus indoor & outdoor pools.
Well maintained resort near Brotas with lots of activities for adults and children. The room was fine and the grounds and staff were amazing. Several swimming pools, a short zip lining adveture, trails to hike, a gym and spa, kayaking, volleyball and basketball courts and tubing down a river. The food was amazing and offered 4 times a day. Great family atmosphere.
Ian S — Google review
The place was different from anything I ever experienced but it had its pros and it’s cons. First with the cons, the rooms were nasty, that’s the only true way I could describe it. There we millions of ants in the bathroom and we even found a HUGE spider (which we later found out was poisonous) in our room. Also the doors nor the windows would close properly and would bang because of the wind. That made it very difficult to get sleep. The rooms were really the only cons so now with the pros. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone in my family (and we’re a big group) loved it. The service also was outstanding and we never ran out of things to do. From swimming, zip lining, going on trails, the gym, the spa, eating all the time, kayaking, paddle boating, going on water slides there was always something you wanted to do. The kids club was great for the kids and they were very welcoming and friendly. Overall this experience I would give a 3 or 4 star (only because of the rooms)!
Super S — Google review
Very well managed, facilities in pristine condition... Sports and aquatic activities are the staple, besides the famous small pond that the Guarani aquifer pumps up at a rate of 70k liters per hour. Guided visits and monitored activities all day. Form São Paulo, a little on the far side, so three days work best. I'll try to come back more times.
Roberto S — Google review
The best resort me and my family haver ever been, by far. The infrastructure, the nature, the hospitality, and all the lovely employees make the visit outstanding. The meals are served in buffet style and there is a huge variety, for all tastes. There are plenty of activities available all day long although I thoroughly recomend a visit to the " singing sand" fountain, which is in my opnion an unique experience (unmissable). I highly recomend for families, singles, and all kind of people regardless if you want a break on the routine or if you desire some adventure.
Rodrigo P — Google review
Price does not match the product and service. Although nature is beautiful and makes the place awesome, it's infrastructure, specially the rooms, does not match the price asked for the stay. The singing sand spring is off course, a nature gift to the place.

Buraco das Araras Private Natural Heritage Reserve

Nature & Parks
Ecological park
The Hole of Araras Eco bird watching area is highly recommended for visitors who are interested in observing the vibrant scarlet macaws, which can be best viewed through binoculars or a high-quality camera with a powerful zoom. This extraordinary location features a 32-story deep hole, where one can also admire the presence of large alligators and anacondas. The scenery is breathtaking, showcasing an array of magnificent avian species such as Tucanos and Brazilian Parrots (Red Araras).
Very cool and special place. Like with all attractions around Bonito, you have to buy your tickets in advance at a tour agency in the city. You will then do a walk around the whole, two platforms to look out from. Around 120 parrots are living here, making a lot of noise and super cool to just watch at. They fly a lot around. The guide spoke English very well and shared great knowledge.
Valentin P — Google review
Nice and small park, perfect for a half day. A bit of walking through the jungle and you arrive at a clearing in front of a huge craterlike natural structure . It is here that the red Araras or parrots nest. Nice to see and specially hear the birds!

Could have spend way more time here. Although paying to see animals is not my thing... they do not intervene and well the sinkhole is on private ground... Worth it!

Many araras and an easy walk through the forest to the sink hole. It's much bigger than I imagined and worth the visit. The guide was also very good using English and Portuguese.

Red Macaw pit For nature lovers For bird watchers For all "incredule" eyes the "Buraco dad Araras" is a must place to visit in Bonito MS (Serra da Bodoquena). The regular your takes about an hour and half, also they offer a day or half day bird watching. In any case, easily all the visitors are able to observe at least 5 different bird species (from 'Araras' - red macaw to woodpeckers)

Rio da Prata is a natural marvel in Bonito, where visitors can experience the beauty of clear waters and rich aquatic life. While the costs and distances to reach this paradise may seem high, many agree that it's a small price to pay for such an incredible experience. Winter is recommended for travel to avoid crowds and take advantage of low-season discounts.
I lost my phone in the river while snorkeling and everyone did their best to find it back. After a whole night in the river someone found it and helped getting it to Bonito. I am so grateful, thank you!

Nice place to do snorkeling. There are many fishes. But not as much as I expect. The snorkeling tour is very long. I gave four star mostly because 1) they should offer free lockers 2) The guides are very in a hurry, so I cannot enjoy the snorkeling so much. I don't think it is the guides' fault, because the next group has to go on time. No English guide, so I have to ask others help. But in general, it is a nice place to go.

Natural Aquarium in Bonito is a renowned destination for ecotourism and snorkeling. The Baia Bonita river forms a stunning natural aquarium, offering visitors the chance to explore its clear waters teeming with diverse fish species. Located within the Baia Bonito Ecological Reserve, the tour begins with a scenic forest walk leading to the Baia Bonita Spring. Snorkeling downstream allows guests to marvel at the vibrant underwater flora, creating an immersive experience akin to being inside a real aquarium.
Great experience, even for me that I am afraid of the water! Loved Ruan is a good guide and good instructor!

Amazing activity for kids and adults! The small kids can stay in the boat which is super safe and you swim the sucuri river snorkeling and enjoying the crystal clear water. The experience is amazing and the zip line at the end was the star of the show. The main entrance has a large pool and restaurant. You can also go check the animals as part of the compound. It is really a full day activity and the kids can swim in the pool. The weather was not great when we went during June. So we recommend it during the summer time around Feb or March you might get better weather.

It's very close to the centre of Bonito. The prices of the tour cost around R$350 on most agencies. It was an amazing experience to swim with the fish in this beautiful river. The equipment is professional and comfortable. The guide gave us small training before going to the river. It's not mandatory to know how to swim.
Mayra C — Google review
This place has two pools, a restaurant, a little theater (that has 0 use). It's a nice place, but I went to places where that were cheaper and with nicer views. The water of the river is amazing, and you can see some kinds of fish, the service is also pretty good, and our guide was amazing, but there are better places, in better states for less money, and the package for the photos is very tricky, you pay certain amount for photos, but at the end of the day you could end up with 0 photos under the water because the photographer forgot to take photos of you, and they don't refund the money.
Araceli C — Google review
Really nice experience overall. Plus they have a really nice underwater camerman who takes beautiful pics that you can buy later. The hike part we really nice for kids - a chance to see caimans and ant eaters, etc However, in this area there are river segments that are so much kore beautiful for floatation/snorkeling.
Donatas S — Google review
I would say great facility and service! The actual experience of floating in crystal clear water of the river, snorkeling and the encounter with the fishes, superb! The trail is short and though the temperature was still very hot in April, the path is shaded by trees. Plus, the water in the river was refreshing after the walk. Do not forget to bring repellant (opt for the environment friendly ones). Like ALL the official tours/destinations in Bonito, you have to book this one with an agency. Agencies have more or less the same pricing. For those who do cost-saving/low-cost traveling, there is no bargaining here (that I knew of, read and asked around). The prices they said are well regulated, good side is that I felt safer and wouldn't be ripped out as a tourist (experienced in some places). I have to be back in Bonito.
Erna A — Google review
Arrived at 3:30pm the worker said it’s closed. On google says closes at 6pm. As well it’s needed to make booking with the agency in the city centre prior. I would kindly suggest the manager of this place to write accurate opening closing timing on google as well to mention that booking with the agency is mandatory so people don’t waste their time. Two stars for misleading.
Cristina B — Google review
We enjoyed the river snorkelling and return walk. Tends to be more rainforest type species of trees and wildlife. Suggest organising your own transport such as taxi. The bus service is expensive and inflexible. You'll arrive at 8, depart at 1700 which is too long in one location. It's about 7km out of town. Two in taxi 8s likely cheaper, more flexible. Also, no sunscreen or mosquito repellent to protect the water quality and fish life, which is important. The return walk, expect mosquitoes. Be mindful to take something once you are no longer getting into the river systems.

Bonito Municipal Balneary is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, offering a relaxed atmosphere and activities for the whole family. Unlike other attractions in Bonito, it allows visitors to explore at their own pace without a guide. Situated along the Rio Formoso, this balneary features crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and observing fish. The facilities include restrooms, parking, snack bars, restaurants, and even wheelchair-accessible amenities.
I chose to visit Bonito's Municipal Balneary to see where the locals take their friends and family to unwind. A local taught me to add fruit to the end of a long stick and place it on the water to see the fish leap up to remove the fruit. After taking a few photos of the leaping fish, I just tossed the fruit at different areas so that they can eat it in peace. Vhuntermassage LLC

It was advertised as being cool to visit, but being honest, as a tourist coming to visit for the first time Bonito, my expectations were to find nature, well that didn't happen here as there are thousand of local people, and I hope I'm not taken wrong here but a touristic place does not involved be surrounded of an overcrowded place, where there was no space to sit by the river, no place to sit on the chairs, noisy, among other factors. You see only one type of fish swimming among people, but being with that many, you can't really enjoy this place. And besides that the only activities there are, either swim, sit on the restaurant or grill your own meat, and that's it. So we had to stay there without being able to do anything.
Edward L — Google review
If you want to see thousands of "piraputanga" fish and maybe some "dourados" this is the place. They're used to humans and will be swimming with you. A very safe place for families to enjoy a full day.

If your not brave enough to get in ice cold water then all you'll enjoy is seeing the clear waters and fish. The food is delicious, but the fun is swimming among the fish. You can swim down River for 7min and you'll feel like you own the place. Because its Tranquil and no loud music playing. BRING SNORKEL! Small place, but beautiful.

Sucuri River Bonito Ecotourism offers a unique experience in the Brazilian hinterland. The area was once remote farmland, but locals recognized its exceptional natural beauty and developed ecotourism to preserve it. The Sucuri River is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and has been featured in TV shows. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling, biking, and horseback riding while taking in the pristine surroundings.
We had an amazing time on the Sucuri River Eco Tour! The water was crystal clear, and we were able to see all sorts of fish and plants up close. Our guide Asa was unbelievable - he was so knowledgeable and friendly, and he made sure we had a great time. He was also very good at pointing out the different plants and trees that we passed. He told us all about the different properties of the plants and how they are used by the local people. We started the tour with a short hike through the rainforest to the source of the river. After that we floated down the river for about forty minutes. The water was a bit chilly at first, but we quickly warmed up. We saw all sorts of colorful fish. Overall, we had a fantastic time on the Sucuri River Eco Tour. It was a great way to experience the beauty of the Bonito region and learn about its unique ecosystem. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bonito.

Rio Sucuri snorkeling experience is truly a must-do when in Bonito. We were not disappointed: the 30-40 minutes of floating down the crystal clear freshwater stream while observing wonderful green algues and fish of all sizes (very curious!) is among the best we had throughout our travels! We are only taking off one star due to the human factor: this is a very expensive tour (1350 BRL, EUR 212 for 2 persons) for a half-day experience where lunch is not included and most of the time you are waiting either to be taken in charge, or to be picked up by the agency’s shared taxi.. again, the experience in itself lasts about 30-40 minutes only.
Amaya M — Google review
The snorkle flotation down this river is beautiful. You are equipped with wet suits for the cold water. The first 10 minutes of the river has immense beauty however this bleeds of very quickly and the remaining 40 minutes or so is very ordinary like any other river bed. It was still worth the visit though it was slightly on the pricy side.

Sucuri River — where water becomes soul.** 🌊✨ It has been nearly a quarter of a century — a time equal to a human generation — since I first encountered this privileged place. Back then, I did not yet have the inner maturity to grasp its purity, its serene power. But today, I understand. 🕊️ The Sucuri River is not just water. It is emotion, flowing freely. Its clarity mirrors inner awareness. To drift within it is to surrender completely to one's feelings — a state of wholeness, as Jung might say. 💧🌀 The river’s source felt like the birth of my soul — untouched, radiant, childlike in its golden innocence. 🌟🧒 And the Sucuri itself, once a symbol of my fear and anger, I now see as the shadow we must embrace to be complete. 🌒🪷 This river carried me, even when I didn’t know how to swim within myself. Now I understand: inner clarity is freedom, and emotion is the vessel of becoming. 🛶💫 **And why do I find this place so beautiful, so magnetic?** Because it mirrors what I carry inside. 🪞🌿 Long ago, I only saw this in the outside world, unaware that it was within me all along. Today, I know: my longing for purity, beauty, clarity, and connection is reflected in this river — just as it flows gently through the landscape, I wish to flow through life. 🌅🌱 That is the mirror. In it, I see my deepest longing. 💖

Badly organised. Staff was very uncaring I didn't get to eat because I booked a dive after the flotation, and was left without ANY food! There was NOTHING left by the time I got there. I couldn't eat all day, wasn't even given a snack. Flotation and dive were great, but wasn't given a hygienic cover to wear underneath helmet for quad tour. Also, many people walked on the river floor even though they were explicitly told not to do so, staff didn't bat an eye lid though. Make sure in advance they give you all you paid for. Don't just take the word from tour operator

Our first experience in Bonito, we heard it was the third clearest river in the world, and I'm not sure how much clearer could it get, but you can see far in the distance, not that you need to, the fishes and the scenery are gorgeous to look at, from outsite or inside, BRING A WATERPROOF CAMERA WITH BATTERIES FULL!

Gruta do Lago Azul Natural Monument is a must-see destination in Bonito, known for its breathtaking cavernous space adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. The highlight of the monument is the transparent lake with vibrant blue water at the bottom of the cavern. Visitors can explore various natural attractions such as rivers, lakes, crystal clear pools, and diverse marine life. The area also offers opportunities to observe birds and wild animals while hiking trails that lead to stunning waterfalls.
A deep grotto with the blue lake at the bottom. The visit must be in a timed group, reserved beforehand via a tour agency in Bonito. The guide was very good including caring for our safety with appropriate protocols and briefing. On a cloudy or rainy day, the blue colour of the water is very muted. However, you can get bluer colours in photos using night mode.

Gruta do Lago Azul - Beautiful, Safe, and Worth Experiencing. Gruta do Lago Azul is a stunning natural site, the deep blue water and dramatic cave formations are definitely worth seeing. While it wasn’t the highlight of my trip to Bonito, I’m really glad I got to experience it.The tour is quite structured and short, with allot of stairs involved, so it may feel a bit underwhelming if you’re looking for something more adventurous. That said, the guides were fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everything was safe and well-organized. It’s a unique and peaceful spot, and definitely a worthwhile stop if you’re exploring the area. Book ahead from my experience.

We traveled from the other side of the world Australia. Such an amazing experience. We enjoyed the experience. It's a few hundred metres from the carpark, an easy guided walk, then the guides take you down slowly 300 steps. Dress light, good walking shoes and bug repellent (we brought repellent at the gift shop). No need for a hat as you wear the helmet. Guides are amazing. The gift shop also has plenty of icecream, drinks and water. Great experience. Book directly with venue and secure your pass. I have attached the best driver too who picked us up from hotel. Its a 25 minute drive but half is off road.

Really beautiful and it didn’t take too long, my 76 year old father could handle the slow paced steps 👍🏼 Some of the other similar caves are not “wet” at the bottom like this one 😉
Ben H — Google review
It is quite beautiful but if you have been in a cave before it is not so special. You walk down, get some info and up again. 30 min and you are ready. The price was not in balance with the experience for me
Martijn P — Google review
While the cave is a nice place to see, the provider at the location is not delivering much value to it. It feels like they are simply herding as much visitors as reasonably possible in and out. As a foreign visitor you need to be lucky to get any comprehensible input as signs are only in local language and guides might or might not speak any language other than Portuguese. Most of them seem to do not, and so you might end up with not understanding anything. Overally other activities in the region are more worthwhile, and much better in accomodating international visitors' needs for information provision in multiple languages. So I recommend, go elsewhere and spend your money there, especially if you don't speak Portuguese.
J K — Google review
The place is very beautiful. It is a huge stalactite cave with unusually blue water. The tour is not accessible and is not in English, the guide completely ignored our presence and was not very nice. The attraction is boring. Go down the stairs to see the beauty and go back up. Not sure it is worth the price.
עוז מ — Google review
The cave itself is nice and impressive, but the surrounding organisation to us appeared not very accommodating for foreign visitors. We do not speak Portuguese and were told at check-in that the guide would speak at least some English, which was not the case. They seemed to not bother that we didn't understand and there was no effort to, for example, switch us to the next tour 20 minutes later which apparently was run by a guide who spoke some English and had other international visitors (which we found out after the tour). So, the 'safety briefing' at the beginning and information during the tour were only provided in Portuguese. At other attractions around Bonito we found at least some signs in English, which helped us to understand a bit more. So honestly, it was a bit dissappointing for us to pay the not cheap price for the tour and transport for an experience where we could not understand anything. Nevertheless the natural beauty of the cave is memorable.

(Translated by Google) The trip along the Rio do Peixe was undoubtedly the most "relaxed" I experienced in Bonito. It's a very pleasant trail, with several stops for a refreshing dip. Upon arrival, as usual, we received instructions about the activity. Anyone who wanted could borrow a life jacket. The trail began with breathtaking views, and the farm dog decided to be our canine guide, accompanying us the entire way. We passed several bridges that, Indiana Jones-style, swayed a lot. I confess I was a little nervous on some of them. During the swim stops, fun was guaranteed: waterfalls, zip lines, diving boards, and even a daring jump into a hole for the more fearless. To end the day of adventure, we returned to the headquarters, where a delicious lunch awaited us. And, as a lively bonus, we also got to see several monkeys getting up to their tricks. Hiking area
Waterfalls
Waterfall Boca da Onca is a must-visit destination for adventure seekers. It boasts a 156m-high cascade, perfect for swimming and hiking. The area also offers opportunities to witness the fluctuation in the Sucuri and Natural Aquarium rivers, as well as explore other nearby attractions like Parque das Cachoeiras, Serra da Bodoquena waterfalls, Lagoa Misteriosa, and Abismo Anhumas.
This is a must visit place in Bodaquena! The trail is just surreal; it feels like heaven. It's hard climb and descend at some places, but is worth it! The staff as in any other place in bonito are very well organized. The only place which serves you delicious food in the region ! I just wish that there was more water it would have increased the beauty of the places

It it supposed to be a beautiful waterfall, except that they don’t inform you at the time of the booking when it’s dry! Beware of this when considering the tour - it’s dry from around March to October, as the guide told us. We visited in August 2025.

An amazingly unforgettable experience with the family. The guides are extremely attentive and informative, the mixture of trail walking and swimming in the natural pools are surreal. Highly recommend the 90m abseiling option, careful if you have a bad back though. There's a lot to see and do, so if you're an avid photographer you don't have long to contemplate your angles and exposures, so don't drag your heels. If you have a drone, best to opt for the VIP package as you're not allowed to use if you're in a larger group. Enjoy to the fullest.

I guess pretty good in general, but we have been here during a very dry period and all waterfalls were completely dry. Still a pretty hike though.

The stars for this review are just for the guide, she was fantastic, the tour was the opposite. The area hadn't had rain for a fair while when I did the tour so instead of beautiful water features we got dry waterfalls and mostly stagnant pools. I'd done a waterfall tour at a Fazenda in the area the day before that was able to put on a terrific display despite the dry conditions. The administration and owners of Boca da onca know they are selling an inferior product and that is putting it most charitably, some might call it fraudulent advertising. They don't seem to have a plan b or alternate routes and sights to see during the dry months. My advice would be to do some research (like I should have done instead of believing everything I saw on the internet) and make sure they've had enough rain to get the falls going before booking tickets. The highlight of this dismal experience was our guide, she was fantastic and made the best of a bad situation. I would not do this tour again having been sold a lie.

Amazing! No doubt a must do activity in Bonito! Great guide, beautiful waterfalls to see and swim in, but a lot of steps. Definitely add the lunch! #eunobocadaonca

BABUSHKA

When exploring the vibrant heart of Santa Cruz, one cannot miss the enchanting "Babushka." This lively plaza serves as a central hub for both locals and visitors alike, bustling with activity regardless of the weather. Early mornings are particularly delightful, as coffee vendors roam about offering delicious café con leche to enhance conversations and savor life's simple pleasures. The stunning architecture surrounding Babushka is complemented by beautiful trees, walkways, and benches that invite you to sit back and soak in the atmosphere.
It's the center of the city, around here you will find great places to eat and drink, always can have a visit in the cathedral.

Really beautiful city centre, has a square with beautiful trees, walkways and benches. Church is stunning. Whole place is very family oriented with regular events for all ages with streets closed to traffic. Which I really loved as traffic fumes in Santa Cruz can be quite overwhelming..

Very nice landscape, colonial buildings around. Many pigeons and children playing around. I would recommend it for a quiet day outside. There are many restaurants and ice cream places nearby

It amazed me how Bolivian people occupies their public spaces. This is a beautiful plaza close to a lot of dinner options.

It's like to back in time. Nice to seat for a little meditation and enjoy the view of the old cathedral

Very nice plaza. There are many benches to sit on and chess tables to pass time. The park has many coffee vendors that walk around and sell cafe con leche (local specialty). It was very nice to enjoy a cup of coffee and gaze at the surrounding architecture of buildings and cathedral

The main place to start visiting the city. Only extreme bad weather will empty it... always with visitors and locals enjoying the pleasant weather, even at early hours of the morning. Coffee runs around in little carts for sale to amenize conversations and just to take a minute in the simple pleasures of life, like friendship and a good company. Locals meet regularly and some take the challenge of a chess game, others find their spot to refresh from the heat of the day, but all soak in the warmth welcome that this city has for everybody.

Heart of Santa Cruz. Great people watching. During the day it is nice to enjoy an ice cream or a cocktail nearby. You will see older men reading the paper or playing an intense game of chess. Families and groups will come out and walk around. Vibrant space during the weekend.

Cristo de la Concordia is a massive statue of Jesus Christ located in Cochabamba, Bolivia. It can be reached by a cable car or by climbing stairs and offers stunning views from its hilltop location. Cochabamba itself is the country's fourth largest city, known for its gastronomy and as a stopover to acclimate to the high altitude before heading to La Paz.
Didn’t know there was a “Cristo” in Cochabamba, but it was modeled after the one in Rio Janeiro, and bigger than it. It is so far the second largest statue of Jesus, following the one in Poland. It is a lovely mountain that you can see the entire city. You can take a car to drive here but walking is also a great option, after ypu are filled with nice meals.

We went on a Wednesday after lunch and no one was there like 15 people max! We drove up and it’s 10 Bolivianos per car! We took advantage and also had a drink at the new restaurant up there. Bring cash and help the little kiosks! We got some ice cream and a magnet and some awesome shots of the Christ!!!

We took an Uber that brought us directly to the base of the Christ statue, making the trip smooth and convenient. Once we arrived and made our way up, the panoramic view from the top was absolutely breathtaking. You can see the entire city stretching out below, the surrounding mountains, and even the shimmering lake in the distance. The atmosphere at the top is peaceful, and it's a perfect spot to take photos, appreciate the scenery, and soak in the spiritual and cultural significance of the site. It's truly a must-visit experience that's worth every moment.

Great place, awesome view. Loved the city. If you go, dont miss going to the Cristo de la Concordia. It is actually larger than the one in Rio. No tickets required. There is a restaurant at the top.
ENRIQUE U — Google review
Second largest Christ Statue in the world (and larger than Christ the Redeemer). Lovely views of Cochabamba from the top in all directions. The cable car is currently broken so need to either walk up or drive.
Mert K — Google review
Largest Christ statue in the world, also remarkable views! Took the stairs up, but the cable car is also a nice option
Dora G — Google review
There are amazing views of the whole city. The cable car is a fun way to go up. Don't belive anyone that says its an easy walk to the top

Valle de la Luna

City park
Valle de la Luna, also known as Valley of the Moon, is a unique area with trails and peculiar rock formations shaped by mountain erosion. The landscape is characterized by its lunar-like appearance, created by a combination of heavy precipitation over the years and soft volcanic soil. Situated near La Paz, this dramatic badland features natural amphitheaters and eroded rock walls that crumble under your fingertips.
Absolutely stunning! 15 min from La Paz South, you have to go and see those incredible landscapes. Between Star Wars and the moon, it's a great site to visit. There are 2 tours, a 15 min and a 45 min one. The 45 min is the best. From the Teleférico green line last stop you can catch a collective bus or grab a cab. The entrance fee is 20 BOB. Totally worth it!

Magical place, you take a tour from the city of la paz its 40 to 45 mins either reserve a tour from city center or feel free to take a car by yourself, also thete are buses go there from the city center, amazing rocks formation, you can literally do a 15 or 45 mins hike level really simple and easy and safe, even for children between 7-10 years old Nice to take also fun pictures Really recommended if you are around la paz Take with you sunscreen, bottle of water and maybe a hat to protect from the sun And enjoy the beauty of the nature, PS: it looks like Ciudad Roma if you did the 5 days tour in Uyni, but smaller!

Don’t even think of not going! The geological site is extremely beautiful with breath taking views! It’s a STOP that you need to visit while in La Paz!

Nice park but not great for cycling. We are around sixty years old and found it too hilly to bike.

I visited Moon valley with a tour group in October 2025. Moon valley has sandstones and clay rich columnar structures and located in the lowest altitude of La Paz. As explained by our tour guide Milena, the origin of name is related to the astronaut Neil Amstrong. He saw a shiny patch on earth from moon and decided to visit the place once he arrived on earth. So that brought him to salt marshes in Bolivia. During the visit he arrived at La Paz valley and noted the present moon valley area. So he called out that it looks like in moon and so came the name Moon Valley 😊 Many foreigners and rich people and those having high blood pressure problems selected moon valley area as their residence because of favorable climatic conditions there. Also altitude sickness is not a big issue in this part. It’s very touristic and well managed by the government. But I still prefer the Animas Valley, which is not very accessible and having less facilities for tourists over Moon Valley 😊

I think this is a bit overrated as a location - sure, nice to see and interesting, but hardly as sensational as they make it sound. 20 BOB entrance fee.

This place is quite interesting yet a bit bland. Please consider to partner with Sony Pictures Entertainment to get the copyright of Starship Troopers. This place is perfect to be a Starship Troopers theme park. I have so many ideas for it, which not necessarily involves high-tech stuffs.
Yu L — Google review
Interesting place to see, different kind of landscape but don't expect any world wonders. Park is pretty run down and in need of maintenance with holes in the paths and broken bridges.
