Well served with a restaurant and beach vendors. Tons of blackflies, though: make sure to take any body oil to spread, which is the only effective protection against them - insect repellents only lasts few minutes.

Covered in plastic seats, no decent food options, the only one available is too expensive for what it offers. And make sure to put on repellent otherwise you get butchered by some nasty insects. Road there is pretty unaccessible too if you don't have a 4×4. Not worth it.

A nice park to walk around. There are several short hikes. We really enjoyed Trilha dos campos (3km), which takes you up to good views and also winds along the river for a stretch. The trail to the waterfall was much more crowded and more of a road than a trail. Overall, the park itself was very crowded excepting Trilha dos Campos. It is possible to access by bus or uber and you do have to pay to enter.

Nice place to visit. Destination for a lot of tour buses, so it was pretty busy when we were there. Lots of shops selling the usual tourist fare. The water was pretty and interesting. We did not find any actual trails to hike, which would have been nice and would have gotten us away from the crowds. There is parking but it was pretty full when we were there.

You only need 1-2 hours total to see everything. The employees were nice, but it may be difficult to find someone that speaks English.

I wasn't there to buy anything so I enjoyed just looking around, however, if you were going to buy something it's not very cheap. Example: a Maybelline mascara costs 80 Reais which, for an American, would be $20.00. I would economize, look around, and maybe buy something small, but don't go there for a shopping spree. The food court is great with several options, but, again, the prices and portions are wild for me as a foreigner. Overall, the mall is pretty and clean and I would come here again just to see the different stores.

This beach has all facilities both for people who love comfort and those who want to be close to nature.

Cool beach, quite clean for the amount of campings around. Access to it is through a bit of hiking (15 mins). It is big enough for the ppl going there and even has an island at one if its ends.

Beautiful beach and quite secluded. We rented an airbnb and there are posadas on the beach but it's also convenient to camp there. The best part is that it is a very non tourist area except around new years eve when the beach gets full. WiFi reception is not so good but it adds to the charm of this place. There is one main restaurant but a few local ones that are quieter and much better, in terms of service and food quality. Overall just a great place to vacation!

I enjoyed the stories on history of coffee and coffee industry in Brazil. The building itself was once in 19th century the coffee exchange office of Santos and still today has amazing good vibe. All of the information on the walls/signs is displayed in Portuguese but there’s large cards with all the same information in Spanish/English available too. Very informative! Entry was 10 reais.

All old towns have trams :D Whether it's in Europe or Brazil. It is very nice to see an old tram in such nice condition. Together with the buildings surrounding it, it is a beautiful example of the old town of Santos. Being there, you can feel the atmosphere of the past. The train itself is very nice but the tour is very short and not very interesting. The buildings at that part of Santos are in need of restoration as most of them are derelict. A shame as it was a beautiful area one day.
