Cachadaço beach is a stunning, wide stretch of coastline with a trail leading to natural pools surrounded by rocks and lush native vegetation. To reach this tropical paradise, travelers can take a paved road from Bairro do Patrimonio in Paraty or pay attention after crossing the border between Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro when coming from Ubatuba to Trindade. The beach is a favorite among explorers for its access to the Atlantic Forest hillside and short trail.
Great beach tropical paradise with great views and calm waters. We ate some delicious fresh oysters from a shucker right in the sand and also visited a restaurant with views of the water. This was the best beach for us while staying in Paraty
Alex K — Google review
Beautiful beach, on one end has the trail to the Cachadaço Natural Pool
Mayumi W — Google review
Super beach!!! If you get a nice sun and not as much waves, it is one of the nicest beaches in this region.
Björn J — Google review
One of the beaches i prefered when in Brazil. So untouched, no hotels, no restaurants, not a lot of people. Really wild place. The walk from the Trindade beach is just beautiful. Enjoy a bit of trekking with my gf. U better use good shoes because its not that comfy with flipflops.
ANDRES R — Google review
Two beaches next to each other. Beautiful landscape. Although it was not a very good weather when we visited it was still beautiful, clean with not so rough waves!
Maria K — Google review
Best beach in Trindade for me. The waves are a bit intense for kids but great for adults, the beach has a large portion of sand to do a lot of activities, and there's also a great place to eat and have drinks: Caiçara
V. L — Google review
Hard access. As benefit, it is quiet, clean and beautiful

Beautiful beach, not crowded, warm water, tree shadow available, two nice restaurants runned by locals with fair prices.

Castelhanos

Beach
Nature & Parks
Accessed by boat or trail, this stunning, remote beach is known for water sports & panoramic views.
It was very beautiful, with more strong waves. Quick Tip: Carry Citroilha for those insects.
Nishant B — Google review
Beautiful beach on top Of an island called Ilhabela. However, beware that there are highly infectious mosquitoes by the name of barrachudos that might end with the paradise
Sofía O — Google review
An overrated and oversold beach. It is not worth the challenging and expensive trip in an SUV. It is just ordinary. Has millions of flies and bugs that can resist repellents. The sea is not swimmable.
Esra K — Google review
Jeep tour, sightseeing, swimming, caipirinhas, picanhas, boat tour. So nice, not bothered by the little mosquitos!
Cees S — Google review
One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever see!
Francisco P — Google review
This is a wonderful beach. Beautiful views and plenty of places to relax. There was also numerous restaurant options. Towards the South end of the beach there is a great overlook perfect for pictures. My wife and I especially enjoyed renting body boards and enjoying the large waves. This will be the highlight of our trip and made us feel like kids again.
Lucas K — Google review
So beautiful but BRING INSECT REPELLENT AND REAPPLY OFTEN. I was bitten over 50 times (honestly I counted) in the 15 minutes between swimming and eating when I reapplied repellent. All of the group had allergic reactions and were ill. It's incredibly beautiful and fun to swim and explore but be careful of the swarming mosquitoes.

Nestled in the stunning coastal town of Ubatuba, the Ubatuba Aquarium is a delightful blend of indoor and outdoor experiences that showcases an impressive array of local marine life. Established by a passionate group of oceanographers in 1994, this aquarium features around 70 species across its various enclosures, including Brazil's largest saltwater tank. Visitors can marvel at fascinating creatures like crabs, octopuses, sharks, and even Magellanic penguins from Patagonia.
Amazing place. Worth every penny from the ticket. Well guided, the staff is very gentle. Lots of information about sea life.
Luiz F — Google review
Was surprised at the array of animals there , staff were lovely and when raining spent a couple of hours sheltering inside !
George W — Google review
I liked it, kind of fun for children. It isn't as big as other ones around the world, but fits into this environment. The most fun was the playground behind it for my kids.
Daniel G — Google review
Small but very nice and well organized, employees were respectful and knowledgeable. The sharks and penguins were the highlight of the visit but the experience was really good overall, really worth the time.
Julio R — Google review
This aquarium is an excellent opportunity to make a immersion into the beauty and miseries of the sea, this place is prepared for a huge crowd of adults and kids enjoying multiple attractions, it is recomended to buy tickets online in advance to have a quick access to the place, also check the estimated time for some scheduled activities, like feeding the penguins, so you can have the best experience possible here, very recommended
Renner P — Google review
It was smaller than I've been to other places, but close and intimate. Probably crowded I peak season, but July it was perfect. Some signs had English but not all.
Mac S — Google review
Very nice manageable size for children. We saw species we'd never seen before and there is a beautiful shell collection. The tide exhibit was fun. The petting pool was a new experience too. There's a nicely decorated cafe (we got a free coffee with a family ticket) overlooking a play area outside on the promenade. The recycling exhibit was overly sombre at the end of the tour.
Rachel C — Google review
The visit is very pleasant and the path is interesting with posters and exhibitions. The place is not very big but there are spectacular types of marine animals. I suggest to avoid peak time as it could be stressing waiting in the queue. Near the exit, you can touch a number of live examples like the star fish, pepino do mar, etc. There is a small restaurant inside, which can also serve people not in the aquarium from the side overlooking the beach.

Jabaquara Beach

Compact, sandy palm-fringed cove with seafood shacks & snack bars, plus rental umbrellas & chairs.
The staff are great. The manager is very accommodating. When I arrived with a Dome bike, he asked for my battery so I can charge it. Gabriel speaks English, he made sure my orders are well-taken care of. Welyngton is a great Chef. He prepared my Asinha do Frango (Buffalo Wings), one of the best I had (the sauce is very Asian which suited my taste, I am Asian). My 2-hour stay after cycling from the Ferry was worthwhile because of the quality of service this beach restaurant offers. 2 thumbs up!
Reyno A — Google review
In my opinion one of the best beaches you can reach by car on Ilhabela. Better than this would only be Castelhanos.
Francisco P — Google review
Beautiful beach in the north side of Ilhabela. Access via an unpaved road
Marcos S — Google review
Really nice beach, standing out from southern ones. Can be reached by regular cars, despite the final 4 km of dirt road. Two big paid parking areas almost by the beach. Well served with a restaurant and beach vendors. Tons of blackflies, though: make sure to take any body oil to spread, which is the only effective protection against them - insect repellents only lasts few minutes.
Eduardo O — Google review
Covered in plastic seats, no decent food options, the only one available is too expensive for what it offers. And make sure to put on repellent otherwise you get butchered by some nasty insects. Road there is pretty unaccessible too if you don't have a 4×4. Not worth it.
Daniela C — Google review
Nice and beautiful beach, the way to get there isn't easy, though. Also, on rainy days, it requests special attention and it wouldn't be recommendable for drivers without experience
Yuri D — Google review
Really beautiful beach! Less crowded than some of the others. Worth a visit, even with the sand flies. The road is more easily acessible than I was expecting.
Kirstin R — Google review

The parish priest tried to prevent a large flock of faithful to pray the Holy Rosary in front of the church. This had been announced days in advance. Instead he purposely rang all of the church bells, to make so much noise that nobody could understand a word - it was a wonderful experience to pray the Holy Rosary under such circumstance, against the orders of the pastor! *Shame on this parish pastor!*

Very impressive place to visit and walk around. Even if you don’t come for a pilgrimage, it is worth while to come and make it a tourist visit. It was quite busy even though it was weekday

Considered the second biggest Catholic Temple of the world (after San Pedro Temple in Vatican) and the biggest in Brazil. Beautiful religious place with plenty of infrastructure to accommodate faithful from all places and renew their vows
Claudio T — Google review
It was bigger than o ever imagined. It’s like an entire city, it takes hours to walk around and be able to appreciate every detail. Lots of stores inside and restaurants. With the Covid-19 restrictions, we couldn’t see more of the inside details but it was worth it. They have mass every hour and multiple locations as well. I loved it. Perfect to buy gifts and there more attractions outside the Basilica as well. The entire city is filled with attractions and even the cities nearby.
Katiuscia M — Google review
This should be included in the must visit places in Brazil. The cathedral is huge and very beautiful. The dome ia decorated with paintings of Brazilian fauna. The sacred image of the Holly Mary, which was found by locals and is attributed to several miracles, is exposed there. The energy of this place is hard to describe.

A nice park to walk around. There are several short hikes. We really enjoyed Trilha dos campos (3km), which takes you up to good views and also winds along the river for a stretch. The trail to the waterfall was much more crowded and more of a road than a trail. Overall, the park itself was very crowded excepting Trilha dos Campos. It is possible to access by bus or uber and you do have to pay to enter.

Four stars for the capybaras only. The “Lagos” were dirty ponds and every attraction offered was serious $$$$.

Beautiful place, very well conserved with detailed maintainance. The park is an environmental reserve. Activities: there are trails with different kinds of difficulty and length. There are food trucks during the peak of the season, however there are two places that serves food all year. There are activities for children too and playgrounds. There is bike rent and a shop with handcrafted materials made of wood.

Vale Sul Shopping

Shopping mall
Shopping
Vale Sul Shopping is the largest and most diverse shopping center in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil. It offers a wide range of designer stores, boutiques, restaurants, and a cinema. The mall features various brand outlets and segments along with health facilities and a gas station. While it may not be the most budget-friendly for international visitors due to higher prices compared to the U.S., it's still an enjoyable place to explore without making big purchases.
Sorry, I didn't went there. Just used as reference to get the approximate distance until a friend's place near the shopping centre.

I am impressed by the online presence of this shoe repair shop, which effectively highlights its exceptional products and services via various social media platforms. The consistent and engaging content allows customers to stay updated and informed. It's refreshing to see a business utilizing technology to connect with its audience.

Nice shopping mall, with a bit of everything. Very big food plaza, with lots of options to choose from, the most famous places are in there. You can find a super market as well as a construction or home renovation store. You arcade gaming. They also have a cinema with lots of options of movie to pick. Lots of places to park your car and sometimes they'll have events happening at the car park.
Bruno S — Google review
It's very basic, it's a simple place full of low budget stores. The cinemas are great, but 99% of the movies shown are dubbed in Portuguese. The bowling alley is nice, great place to eat.
Luis C — Google review
Very organized shopping center with ample parking space. There is a good variety of quality products, a movie theater, and restaurants. The prices are typically more elevated but this is a general rule in shopping centers/malls in Brazil.
Nassim D — Google review
I'm a tourist from the U.S and one of my favorite things to do is to see the difference between malls in different countries. Let's just say Brazilian malls are one of my new favorites. I wasn't there to buy anything so I enjoyed just looking around, however, if you were going to buy something it's not very cheap. Example: a Maybelline mascara costs 80 Reais which, for an American, would be $20.00. I would economize, look around, and maybe buy something small, but don't go there for a shopping spree. The food court is great with several options, but, again, the prices and portions are wild for me as a foreigner. Overall, the mall is pretty and clean and I would come here again just to see the different stores.
Larissa M — Google review
A not so huge space. A congested environment during weekend. Just like other malls the ambience is the same and restaurants as usual are crowded. No English speaking guide and Walmart in it is the added advantage. Walmart is not so big as we normally see but a good place for a one stop shop
Ansari S — Google review
I only didn't give it a 5 star because of it's Pet Policy. Like in many other malls in Brazil pets are allowed in, but in this one you have to carry them on your lap. It is also forbidden to leave your pet at the entrance like many other places allow you to. So, if your pet is a lil fatty like mine, choose a different place to go to. Appart from that, very best mall in town.

Serene botanical garden offering a variety of flora & fauna, plus labyrinths, eateries & events.
Awesome park with great infrastructure. They have an awesome place to view the valley. There are cats around the park but not friendly

This park is absolutely beautiful. We spent a few hours here, exploring. Then we had lunch at the restaurant at the end and it was wonderful.
Tatiana M — Google review
Such a beautiful place with kind-hearted staff! I’m not a local and didn’t know that they only accept cash and Pix, and since my card was international they couldn’t accept it. The girl selling tickets let me in for free and covered my parking as well. Such a simple yet kind act, it was genuinely the highlight of my day! The plants and gardens were beautiful, and I felt very peaceful afterwards. I would recommend this place to everyone!
Alexandra N — Google review
The place is gorgeous, but quite expensive for full ticket payers. The visit lasts around 1.5h
Paulo B — Google review
This park was absolutely beautiful and worth the 40 Reis entrance fee. The gardens were all well-maintained. The views of the surrounding valleys were spectacular. It's an easy stroll through the park, and there's even a maze to navigate through. There are various plants to see and coy fish in the ponds. And there's a tree house you can visit. You only need 1-2 hours total to see everything. The employees were nice, but it may be difficult to find someone that speaks English.
Christine M — Google review
They have good tree house.. and nice place to take a walk with family, unfortunately every garden doesn’t really represent the country mentioned. Only Japanese garden and Chinese garden that bit represent their own country.
Anastasia K — Google review
Absolutely wonderful botanical gardens. The location is amazing, with plenty of beautiful scenery. From the treehouse to hedge maze, there is a lot to occupy half a day. I was impressed with how well it was maintained and the variety of plants. The price was reasonable for what you get to see. Also, there is a student discount if you show your student ID. Highly recommend Amantikir Park; it is a must see if you are in the area.

Waterfalls
Ducha de Prata is a popular tourist spot in Campos do Jordao, featuring man-made waterfalls and showers accessible via wooden decks. The water supply comes directly from the natural waterfalls of Ribeirao de Perdizes. Visitors can stroll along the wooden bridges, listen to the soothing sounds of the waterfall, and explore nearby souvenir stalls offering various items such as clothing, chocolates, and crafts.
Another tourist attraction in Campos de Jordão and one of the best for sure. A small waterfall with walking areas and platforms designed to get the best picture possible. Lots of small shops and restaurants around as well as tourism buses departing and arriving here. On the low side there is lack of toilets, so if you have the urge, you need to use one of the tiny ones located within the restaurants around.

Nice place to visit. Destination for a lot of tour buses, so it was pretty busy when we were there. Lots of shops selling the usual tourist fare. The water was pretty and interesting. We did not find any actual trails to hike, which would have been nice and would have gotten us away from the crowds. There is parking but it was pretty full when we were there.

Morro do Elefante is a must-visit spot offering breathtaking city and mountain views. Accessible by road or cable car, the hilltop terrace provides an incredible panoramic view of the entire tourist center. The cable car ride is a popular choice for reaching the top, where visitors can enjoy the stunning scenery and even return for a second visit. Standing at 1800 meters above sea level, this location offers an adrenaline-pumping experience with its elephant trunk-like curvature.
Awesome place to watch the sunset with life music They have a cable car that connects to the park at the bottom During Christmas the lights are espetacular
Daniel T — Google review
It was a silly place but fun for our kid and we took lots of pictures. The photographer in there was really nice and only charged us R$5 per adult to take photos of us by the sign and even did a video with snow falling. We enjoyed that!
Tatiana M — Google review
Overlooking Campos do jordoan, beautiful European style town right in brazil. You can take a "ski lift" type ride up or down to the overlook. Couple of little shops and food vendors so you can spend a little extra time enjoying the view. The photos are what so much of the home, hotels, shops and restaurants are like.
Bert A — Google review
It was OK but not that much of a thing to see you have to pay to get a good photo photo it was around 5reais The cable car is not working now so if you want to try the cable car you have to wait-a-bit more It's also not easy to park
Amy H — Google review
Beautiful view in a place that could get potential to be better. We climbed to the elephant's hill using the scared cable car, I believe its was created with the city and never modernized. My husband, who is Canadian, liked the experience more than I did. He was scared but he found excited at the same time. I think that because I have already been to Campos do Jordão several times, I think at this point the city, which seems to be very rich looking at the hotels in the area and people who frequent it, should have already renovated that a long time ago and have made something much better and more attractive, as the other countries that have mountains for Ski. I think don’t need to be exactly the same, but Mount Tremblant in Quebec also has a small area up hill and its not so fancy, but little more attractive and safe. Anyway, the view is very beautiful and we can see the whole city, mountains and part of the other surrounding regions. When we get up there again, the attractions could be much more elaborate and modernized giving opportunity to locals to get better jobs, show a nicer view and give to the city, locals and visitors a better structure. I think the place with elephants is a good idea, especially for children, but they could modernize it and charge a little for the entrance to maintain the place. They also could make a kind of a little mall where people could expose their crafts making their products more attractive and a nice cafe or restaurant with a lookout ... Anyway, use a little of the American style of exposing your business, which could be better for everybody. If I had money to invest, that unfortunately is not the case at the moment, I would probably organize people and get that changed for the benefit of all city and visitors. Grade: Eli = 3, Serge = 3 Recommend: It’s worth for the Mountain View.

Trilha da Pedra Redonda is a relatively easy hiking trail that starts at the end of Av. das Montanhas or can be reached from the Plato trail. It takes about an hour to complete and offers a tranquil experience through lush greenery. The trail leads to a 1990m rounded peak, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Hikers are advised to wear comfortable clothes and sneakers, bring water, and apply sunscreen due to windy conditions on the rocks and intense sun exposure.

(Translated by Google) Without a doubt, the best trail in Monte Verde. The area is very well maintained by private initiative, with excellent upkeep, clear signage, security, and guidance before the start of the trail, making the entrance fee worthwhile. It's the most suitable option for families, especially older people and children, as the route is easy and accessible. The Platô trail, while very beautiful, is much steeper, more rugged, and longer, requiring physical preparation and extra attention. I recommend both, but each is suited to a different type of visitor and fitness level.

Ibirapuera Park is a renowned urban park in Sao Paulo, often compared to Central Park. It offers a serene escape from the bustling city, with beautiful landscaping and architecture designed by Oscar Niemeyer. The park features museums, a planetarium, auditoriums, and recreational areas with bike paths and courts. Despite being highly urbanized, it provides an opportunity to experience Brazilian nature with diverse native fauna and flora.
I truly had a memorable day here, filled with joy and discovery. The blend of sport, leisure, and art offered a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me feel nice. Don't miss the Biennale; it's a cool experience. Take a leisurely jog among the locals and relax by sipping fresh coconut milk straight from its shell—simple moments that can bring so much joy.

Largest park in the city, it has nice roads for running and walking along with bicycle lines. It has a lake with River with plenty of grass areas to just sit and relax. We enjoyed it in a sunny day on Sunday and lots of people go to exercise and work out. Lots of local people just enjoying with their families Park has plenty of small stores to get snacks, water and natural coconut water which is great, however did not see a larger restaurant to get meals, just mobile spots for quick grab and go. There are public bathroom but can get crowded Green areas and well maintained although they could be better, trees are mostly tropical. There is a museum, planetary and Japanese site but did not go to those.

This park is right in the center of the city—almost like São Paulo’s own version of New York’s Central Park. It’s a very large green area with beautiful walking paths, lakes, cafés, and several museums. There are always many people around enjoying the space: jogging, biking, relaxing, or having picnics. We loved the atmosphere and how lively yet peaceful it felt. A perfect spot to spend time outdoors in the heart of the city.

It’s an absolute pleasure to walk in this park but keep in mind it’s huge. Plenty of cafes and shops to buy a fresh coconut or any other drinks, lots of bench’s to sit and relax or just watch people performing different instruments in the nature. I saw a lot of families spending time here with kids or having a meal. Definetly worth walking around

The Mercado Municipal Paulistano, also known as Mercadao, is a historic market located in the old city center of Centro. Built in the 1930s, this magnificent market hall features skylights and stained-glass windows and is bustling with vendors offering rare fruits, vegetables, dairy produce, meat, fish, and more.
Interesting experience and many options to try and choose from. Just know that when they offer you samples, you will end up buying stuff and they don’t give you the price until they already wrapped and bagged things. You’ll end up paying 60 USD for 4 piece of fruit, which you can find in typical stores for 10 dollars.
Parihan R — Google review
This is a well-organized and clean market that offers a wide range of goods—from preserved meats, fresh fish, and spices to nuts and other local products. While it seems to have become more of a tourist attraction than a place locals frequent for daily shopping, it’s still worth a visit. The second floor has sit-down restaurants, making it a good spot to take a break and enjoy a proper meal. Prices are reasonable overall. One of the highlights here is the famous mortadella sandwich—a must-try if you’re visiting for the first time. Overall, a nice place to explore local flavors and pick up a few souvenirs or snacks. Just expect a more tourist-oriented vibe.

Landed in São Paulo after a red eye so we needed to stay awake so we could sleep tonight…dropped off bags, showered, and headed to the market, one of my absolute favorite places in SP! Our driver took great care of us as he guided us to a friend working a fruit stall where we ate our fill in samples of some of the best tasting fruit you’ll ever try…Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Yellow Avocado, Jack Fruit, Strawberries wrapped in dates, zero filter on that 🍊orange slice it was amazing! Got some dehydrated provolone discs and cubes of Parmesan…could spend hours in this market…a must stop when you come up São Paulo 🙌🏽
Eugene J — Google review
An incredible place to discover local and international exotic fruits and vegetables, meat vendors, pubs, bars, restaurants and much much more. A lively and bustling vibe. The only precaution, rather don't walk to this destination. Take a bus, taxi or Uber which takes you directly to this market.
Ele V — Google review
We came here close to the closing time but we still manage to grant our sandwich. The main reason we came to this market was to try this sandwich and it did not disappoint. The market itself has a lot of stalls, with nuts, fish, fruit, cheese and charcuterie and places to sit down and eat and drink. It's a nice stop if you are in the area.
Ana C — Google review
Not quite authentic. Lots of replication of stalls and restaurants. But it was a great mix of fruit, meats, seafood, wine bars, and restaurants. It's very clean and has a great energy. Maybe avoid the folks offering free samples but do try the cod pastel and the mortadela sandwiches. It just sit down for a glass of wine.
Gabriel B — Google review
Amazing place to shop for meat, cheese, olives, peanuts, sweets, fruit and also includes large restaurants that you can get the Mortadella Sandwich. Boca’s was the best place for Pastels (they actually fill them full and are overflowing with meat. The Maine sandwich shop (called Maine) was the best for Mortadellas. Be aware that the sales in this market are very aggressive and pushy. They will practically cut fruit and put it in your mouth as samples. The restaurants will practically hold your hand to seat you so that you order food. Didn’t bother me and all you need to do is stand your ground. One American to another 🇺🇸 😉
Sammy S — Google review
Be careful! The place is beautiful and historic, but the fruit vendors take advantage of tourists. I was asking about the price of the fruit, they gave me several to try, and then they charged me a lot of money for just a few pieces. Since they were "local" fruits, I thought the price would be a bit more expensive, but it turned out they were ripping people off. DON'T TRUST THEM. It was a horrible experience to not feel safe. I wasn't bargaining or denying to pay the correct price and yet they took advantage. My worst experience in SP.

The Pinacoteca de São Paulo stands as a testament to Brazil's rich artistic heritage, making it one of the country's oldest and most significant art museums. Nestled in a stunning neoclassical structure originally designed for the School of Arts and Crafts, this museum showcases an impressive collection that ranges from 19th-century Brazilian paintings and sculptures to contemporary works. Its history is intertwined with various historical events, including conflicts in the early 20th century, which adds depth to its narrative.
Beautiful art museum! Museum has 3 levels, there is also a balcony on the front and back of the building on the 3rd level that has a nice view of the street and in the back a nice view of the park. I would make sure that if you are outside in the street don’t stay for long or take your phone out at all. There are many many homeless people in the area that steal from people regularly.

Definitely worth paying R30 for this museum as it has so many exhibitions and they were all amazing! The exhibitions were also in English and made it so much easier for us to enjoy! The ticket also includes the contemporary art in another building. We ended up spending over 2 hours here but could’ve easily spend half a day here. Highly recommend this to everyone!

I enjoyed this art museum. It has a nice mix of old art and contemporary art. The only artist I actually knew about before visiting is a Rodin statue. But it was fun to learn more about Brazilian artists. I was hoping to visit some other art museums but all the other museums were closed on Monday...But the Pinacoteca was open! They get an extra star just for being open on the day I was in town. The gardens around the museum are beautiful and peaceful. But the restaurant had a long line so I did not get to eat there.

The main entry goes thru a sunroom with super high glass ceilings, currently showing pieces done with wood, so you can smell the sap being warned by the sun. Landmarks like MASP, Japan House, and Casa das Rosas are must-sees. On Sundays, the avenue closes to traffic and turns into a street festival of music, dance, and art. Even on weekdays, it never loses its rhythm. Between the tall buildings, you’ll also notice people living in tents a quiet reminder of the city’s social contrasts. Amazing place to go with your family specially if you have kids, they will love it. The trails is quit long for small child's and they don't have accessibility, or if you go with a small kids you will have to carry them during some stages of the trail, but apart of it is an excellent place to visit. I recommend to arrive after lunch in hot days, you will need around 3 hours to do the course. It has a restaurant and cafeteria to eat.

Great place to bring children or for photographic safari if you like to make photos from wildlife under more controlled circumstances. Highly recommended!

Very good place. The enclosures can always be better in a Zoo, but they seem to treat the animals with respect and the place is very beautiful.

Overall very nice place but I found some of the places where they keep the animals too small

Wet'n Wild

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Park
Wet'n Wild is an expansive and vibrant water park with a multitude of slides, a wave pool, and occasional DJ-led events. While the food court options are limited and slightly expensive, children often delight in the burger meals available. Moreover, there are also more affordable snack choices that benefit parents financially. The staff members are exceptionally helpful and amiable. However, one drawback is the steep price for parking at 50R$, especially when considering the already high ticket price of 99R$.
Great day out, I really enjoyed this water park and my 11year old neice also had fun. The park wasn't busy, queues were short, it was clean and tidy and the food and drink on offer was of a good enough standard. The yellow capsule drop slide was scary but fun, and the white half pipe and family rubber ring slides were my favourite. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone to visit and would go again.

A very disappointing visit to a very unkept “wet n wild” theme park chain. The water was ice cold, half the rides weren’t operational and most of the food stores were close. We visited on a weekend during these past Christmas school holidays. Wet N Wild, how about not neglecting Brazil’s theme park and ripping off the locals for every penny to enter. It is absolutely outrageous you charge a fee for children under 3 years old. In AUSTRALIA the children’s entry starts at 3 years old so answer me this why are you charging the patron’s in Brazil???? I can not believe we had to pay for my 1 year old son to enter to not even be able to enjoy some play because the water was like the Atlantic. One very disappointing visit to see how much you have let it get run down. Especially when the locals don’t know any different, I will make it clear. WET N WILD BRAZIL you are over priced, you need maintenance and a full renovation. Absolutely appalling how run down this venue had become. My advice: don’t bother wasting your time or your hard earned money at this theme park.

Wet n wild is a great place to visit if you have little kids or teens. It has a great atmosphere and lots of different ride options. Most of the lines aren't too long except for the Vortex which is about a 30 min wait. Olga, Luiz Carlos and Kevin were very helpful. The food is okay the snack bar is mostly burgers and it's quite unhealthy. The place is a bit worn down - most of the rides haven't been painted in a while and there are very few floaties for rides making the wait longer than it needs to be. However, it was an overall amazing experience.

Nice place to spend a day but needs a lot of improvements. You can see they didn’t invest one dollar from the day they opened 10-20 years ago. But overall nice

Avoid at all costs during the weekend. I went with my 14 yo kid and 10 of his friends. Here is our journey: * Parking is well organized and reasonably priced (r$ 60) * It took us 75 minutes to get in the park - that's because we bought tickets in advance. There was no shade, drinks or staff in the entrance line * We had to wait 60 minutes more in line to get a locker. * We chose a ride that was not too busy. We "only" had to wait 45 minutes in line. That means that it took three hours from the time we arrived to the time we took our first ride. * The kids took another ride and off we went for lunch. 35 minutes in line, and the tables were dirty and full of flies. What an unforgettable experience to have lunch surrounded by thousands of flies. * We took one most popular rides in the afternoon and it was time to go. * In a nutshell, we arrived at 10am and left at 4 pm, for a total of 6 hours in the park. We took 3-4 rides, each of which lasted about 45 seconds. That averages out to 2 hours wait for every minute of riding. * Staff is friendly, but poorly trained. When we want to buy an ice cream, it took staff 3 minutes to sell one popsicle. * Management don't apparently enforce any capacity limit to the park. There were clearly four times more people in the park that there should be. There is zero chance lifeguard could see any kid drowning - which luckily didn't happen. * There is medical examination to be in the park - and there were a few people with obvious and apparent skin diseases that shouldn't be there. That, combined with a 35 degrees Celsius temperature made this trip the worst trip of my last 20 years of life (where I have been travelling extensively for work and tourism across 25+ countries in 5 continents)

Eat before you leave your home. My wife always talk to me that would she like to go in a water club. Although, we live in a city with beach she prefers fresh water. The last month we went to Jundiaí SP and we resolve have fun in a club, so we choose Wet'n Wild. I already paid 50R$ only to park my car under the sun. inside the club we wasted some time find place for accommodation but I not found. However, we like the wave swim and the place for kids. Finally we went have a meal and one more time wast more time in the line. When our time arrived there weren't desks available we had eat standing up under the sun.
Umberto L — Google review
Crazy expensive and over priced. Prices are abusive. Its not as fun as i remembered and I got hurt in qll the rides. Make sure to buy tickets before you go, otherwise you pay $50 more. Plus another $50 just for parking, and another $30 for a locker. Like I said, abusive.

Hopi Hari is a vibrant amusement park that promises an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. Named after the God of joy and the Goddess of adventure, this park boasts five distinct themed areas: Kaminda Mundi, The Wild West, Infantasia, Mistieri, and Aribabiba. Each zone offers a unique blend of thrilling rides and family-friendly attractions.
Is better to buy in advance but also get the VIP ticket online. Really amazing place for vacation
Zahira T — Google review
It was really good. I visited on a weekend Saturday, and the lines for some rides were crazy long . After 5 hours, I had completed 4 rides and a snack. Wait-time for some attractions were almost 45 mins. The fastest was 10 mins. The vip pass should be incorporated into a ticket, but to pay R$200 in addition to $170 for entry was too crazy especially when buying 4 tickets. If you only have cash their is a location after the Egyptian site that issues a rechargeable card.
Carlos M — Google review
Amazing place more suitable for older kids maybe 8 to 9 years cause the interesting games are for older kids. But it is an amazing structure full of games you would need a whole day for this. The restaurants are not very practical for kids and not super clean. But overall amazing place.
Yasmeen F — Google review
It's a good place, the biggest problem is there's no free water to drink, covid is over already but you can't find water, only way it's to buy a water bottle. The hamburger is really bad but at least is cheap, the buildings is in need of repairs. Now on the good side, a lot of attractions, a big team to help you, organized line and almost all works are smiling.
Matheus M — Google review
Hopi Hari is a nice theme park to spend a day. I highly recommend purchasing the VIP pass because the line wait times prevented us from riding all the rides; the VIP pass is quite expensive though. The rides we rode were fun and the evening show was amazing! The food quality was average but I enjoyed the bacon and cheddar fries.
Lindsay C — Google review
Great place! The day I visited (Feb 9th 2019) the park was very clean and with just a few people inside, I would say 2500 people. The lines were incredibly fast. The restaurants had slow service. The park is recovering from a strong crisis. It has been refurbished and everything is shining new, but the low number of visitors is still a sign that it still have a long way to go. But I loved it! 10!
Vinicius G — Google review
A great place to spend a day with or without children. There are lots of different and varied facilities. It is not possible to pay on the spot in cash just to recharge a card or credit card. The icing on the cake was that anyone who has a birthday gets another card as a gift 🤩
Yifat A — Google review
Great park with very interesting concept: the place is its own country, and fun is the main rule. Unfortunately, they've always had financial issues, which currently leads to ever-in-maintenance attractions and the feeling that all of its potential is going to waste. Some of the coolest attractions were closed on February-21, when we visited the park. Employees are polite and gentle, but nothing compares to the reception at the entrance: clowns and other artists sing, dance and welcome the public, with contagious joy and excitement. They also seem concerned about COVID and wearing a mask is required at 100% of times, besides every attraction is cleaned with alcohol after a guest leaves. Attractions are not as radical as they seem, but roller coasters are definitely worth the experience. The wooden one is not only impressive, but it also crosses the road near the park, and is an unique experience. To avoid the kilometric lines, it's recommended to acquire a VIP pass. However, it costs BRL 120 or more (depending on the day), twice the entrance ticket value. This is expensive for Brazilian standards, but unfortunately it's the only way to have fun and enjoy your day at the park without wasting hours waiting in line. Food is overall too expensive and not tasty, so it's also recommended to take some snacks and try not to eat much. Taking water and sunscreen is also the most important thing and this is located on the countryside, and sun seems to hit differently when compared to São Paulo. To save money, take an Uber from Jundiaí train station. Overall, park fans can get a great experience for an expensive price. I wouldn't recommend it for people who are not willing to spend money, people who are not already willing to give it a chance, or very tall or large people (attractions seem designed for smaller and skinnier people. Most are not fit for people above 120kg, so a bigger person wouldn't fit a roller coaster seat, for example)

Cristo Redentor de Serra Negra

Transportation

Cristo Redentor de Serra Negra offers a challenging climb with approximately 8 meters of uneven stairs, making it unsuitable for those with health issues. However, the breathtaking panoramic view of the town below from the top makes it worth the effort for most visitors. The location also provides wheelchair access from the car park to Christ and features a delightful chocolate shop nearby. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful and amazing experience while taking in the spectacular views at this iconic site.
Reaching the top is not for someone who is out of shape, it could even be a health risk for those with heart health issues. There is about 8meters of stairs to climb and the stairs are not so well made as some of them are low steps and some are hi steps, this can be a problem going back down too. When you reach the top, however, you will be rewarded with a beautiful picturesque view of the town in the valley below. In my opinion it's worth the effort if your health will allow it. I really really enjoyed it and it is a memory I will savor for years to come.

The Chocolate farm is a serene and picturesque tourist attraction where various wildlife, including peacocks and other animals, wander freely. Visitors can delight in the tranquil ambiance while exploring the grounds that also house a charming cafe and a chocolate shop. Families will find this farm an enjoyable destination, with plenty of opportunities for children to observe and interact with numerous birds roaming about. The addition of a lovely waterfall enhances the scenic beauty of the surroundings.
We can see a lot of animals here. Kids surely enjoy. It was amazing for my family was we could enter here for free. We recommend to buy their chocolate as souvenirs.

We came on a week day so few visitors and less was open. But we got to see the animals and they opened the chocolate store when we came. Had a very interesting tasting and ended up buying some of their very tasty chocolate. We had a little girl with us and she had a great time - especially to clap the goats and see the peacock in all its glory.

Beautiful area. The peacocks 🦚 and other animals are a joy. Great freedom to explore at your own pace. There is a part for native culture but the performance was cancelled because there weren't enough people. There was 10 plus of us there and no one came to explain it was cancelled which I felt was disappointing. There is a chocolate factory that has good products, although I've been to better chocolate factories in Ireland and Italy. Its a great visit for 3 hours but I think they have so much capacity to grow if they added some more activities, particularly with the native culture. It feels a little tacked on. Definitely would visit again and I'd encourage others. ITU the nearby city is also the best city I've visited in Sao Paulo for tourism, so far.

Parque Portugal - Lagoa do Taquaral

City park
Nature & Parks
Parque Portugal, also known as Lagoa do Taquaral, is a renowned city park that features a stunning lagoon and a variety of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The park boasts beautiful trees and flowers of all kinds and is home to families of geese, ducks, and capybaras.
The best park! It was a very hot day but the park is so greeny. I walked in a shade of those big trees, met couple of capybaras enjoying their weekend. The most iconic seems to be a big Protugese style boat at the north of the park.

Nice park. I liked how the streets were closed off for a running event. It was a nice run around the beautiful streets and lake. Plenty of vendors for some refreshments.

Nice park. Lots of cool local flora and lots of cappybara running around. The little food stands are also nice. We got coconut water and some ice cream and both were delicious. The panda statues at the playground are pretty creepy though...
Brandon S — Google review
If you love capybaras, you can't find a better place to go. Dozens of these friendly rodents roam around the lake. They won't let you touch them or even feed them, but they will let you pretty close. I have a video about it on my YT channel: Curves on the road
Jana C — Google review
Better with family. This is an excellent spot for running, offering wide and varied trails with spots of shade at all times of day, the path was not paved in all places and so it may be muddy in the rain. There is a big ship to explore and beautiful plants. There were paddle boats but they had a cost to try. And some play equipment for kids. Depending on your disposition, this may not be the best place to go if you have limited time. There is not much that distinguishes it from any other large park in the world and it is not well maintained. It was hot and few places to buy water so come prepared.
Benjamin S — Google review
A nice (green) park, kinda small one but still nice, well kept, kids friendly, well located, overcrowded in weekends, parking may be troublesome.

This is a very big park, with no entrance fee! I was impressed to see capybaras chilling everywhere. There is a Planetarium, but i advise to first check out the opening hours. There's a huge ship you can get on and several food stalls with delicious snacks.
