Caiçara Bar on the beach is very nice too. Prices are okay and the service as well. Friendly staffs and good portions.
I highly recommend Célio Açaí, he is an independent seller walking around and sometimes staying nearby Caiçara bar. He is lovely, very polite and really cares about his potential customers.
I highly recommend you to go early as it is has small car parking and tend to be busy. The cost for the parking is 20 reais(2,80€).

Was surprised at the array of animals there , staff were lovely and when raining spent a couple of hours sheltering inside !
I liked it, kind of fun for children. It isn't as big as other ones around the world, but fits into this environment. The most fun was the playground behind it for my kids.
Small but very nice and well organized, employees were respectful and knowledgeable. The sharks and penguins were the highlight of the visit but the experience was really good overall, really worth the time.
This aquarium is an excellent opportunity to make a immersion into the beauty and miseries of the sea, this place is prepared for a huge crowd of adults and kids enjoying multiple attractions, it is recomended to buy tickets online in advance to have a quick access to the place, also check the estimated time for some scheduled activities, like feeding the penguins, so you can have the best experience possible here, very recommended
It was smaller than I've been to other places, but close and intimate. Probably crowded I peak season, but July it was perfect. Some signs had English but not all.
Very nice manageable size for children. We saw species we'd never seen before and there is a beautiful shell collection. The tide exhibit was fun. The petting pool was a new experience too. There's a nicely decorated cafe (we got a free coffee with a family ticket) overlooking a play area outside on the promenade. The recycling exhibit was overly sombre at the end of the tour.
The visit is very pleasant and the path is interesting with posters and exhibitions. The place is not very big but there are spectacular types of marine animals. I suggest to avoid peak time as it could be stressing waiting in the queue. Near the exit, you can touch a number of live examples like the star fish, pepino do mar, etc. There is a small restaurant inside, which can also serve people not in the aquarium from the side overlooking the beach.

A nice little beach which looks like you can only access via a boat tour which we paid R$50pp for (we went in June and you can probably negotiate this down). The water is warm and the views are amazing.

Rent a boat for the day as it is the only way to get to this beach. It can be a private boat or tour boat, they all go there, I honestly prefer the private boat as you can decide how long you want to stay in each place.

Easy access. . Just 5 minutes by boat from Gonçalinho Beach. I recommend the Konquilhas restaurant. Fair price and great customer service. The waiter "Coquinho" is very friendly and hard worker.

It was bigger than o ever imagined. It’s like an entire city, it takes hours to walk around and be able to appreciate every detail. Lots of stores inside and restaurants. With the Covid-19 restrictions, we couldn’t see more of the inside details but it was worth it. They have mass every hour and multiple locations as well. I loved it. Perfect to buy gifts and there more attractions outside the Basilica as well. The entire city is filled with attractions and even the cities nearby.
This should be included in the must visit places in Brazil. The cathedral is huge and very beautiful. The dome ia decorated with paintings of Brazilian fauna. The difficulty of tracks may vary a lot. Upon entry on the park, visitors are given a detailed map, which shows what's possible to do whilst visiting the site. The park is basically divided into a lower and an upper part. The most demanding tracks, which are also those that one needs to plan in advance, are located in the upper part of park. In those areas, it's possible to camp on designated areas or stay for the night at one of the park's lodging houses (reservation in advance needed). In the park's website, there are lots of information for visitors, and high definition pdf maps for downloading, as well as a list of well trained guides on the park whenever the need arises. It's not possible to park in any spot by the road, the permitted parking areas will be sign posted. All around the park, it's possible to see restaurants, hotels and other private properties, which means there's no time available to do everything you'll find at the park. It's a highly recommended visit, and a place not to forget.

Always when I visit this place I get impressed. There are wonderful views from everywhere. During my last visit I took the trail called Rancho Caído, which was amazing!

Love the waterfalls. Crystal clear water. After finishing our 4 days of Travessia from Baependi, I took my shower here. It was damn cold and freezing.
