I love this beach!! it is quiet and have one of the best kyosk named Prainha do Juliao. If you go there you must get one drink named Coconut Special, it is delicious!!! And don't forget your snorkel. You can see a lot of fishs near the rocks and they will come on your feet if you feed them with bread or crackers.

Compact, sandy palm-fringed cove with seafood shacks & snack bars, plus rental umbrellas & chairs.
The staff are great. The manager is very accommodating. When I arrived with a Dome bike, he asked for my battery so I can charge it. Gabriel speaks English, he made sure my orders are well-taken care of. Welyngton is a great Chef. He prepared my Asinha do Frango (Buffalo Wings), one of the best I had (the sauce is very Asian which suited my taste, I am Asian). My 2-hour stay after cycling from the Ferry was worthwhile because of the quality of service this beach restaurant offers. 2 thumbs up!

In my opinion one of the best beaches you can reach by car on Ilhabela. Better than this would only be Castelhanos.
Beautiful beach in the north side of Ilhabela. Access via an unpaved road
Really nice beach, standing out from southern ones. Can be reached by regular cars, despite the final 4 km of dirt road. Two big paid parking areas almost by the beach. Well served with a restaurant and beach vendors. Tons of blackflies, though: make sure to take any body oil to spread, which is the only effective protection against them - insect repellents only lasts few minutes.
Covered in plastic seats, no decent food options, the only one available is too expensive for what it offers. And make sure to put on repellent otherwise you get butchered by some nasty insects. Road there is pretty unaccessible too if you don't have a 4×4. Not worth it.
Nice and beautiful beach, the way to get there isn't easy, though. Also, on rainy days, it requests special attention and it wouldn't be recommendable for drivers without experience

Was surprised at the array of animals there , staff were lovely and when raining spent a couple of hours sheltering inside !
I liked it, kind of fun for children. It isn't as big as other ones around the world, but fits into this environment. The most fun was the playground behind it for my kids.
Small but very nice and well organized, employees were respectful and knowledgeable. The sharks and penguins were the highlight of the visit but the experience was really good overall, really worth the time.
This aquarium is an excellent opportunity to make a immersion into the beauty and miseries of the sea, this place is prepared for a huge crowd of adults and kids enjoying multiple attractions, it is recomended to buy tickets online in advance to have a quick access to the place, also check the estimated time for some scheduled activities, like feeding the penguins, so you can have the best experience possible here, very recommended
It was smaller than I've been to other places, but close and intimate. Probably crowded I peak season, but July it was perfect. Some signs had English but not all.
Very nice manageable size for children. We saw species we'd never seen before and there is a beautiful shell collection. The tide exhibit was fun. The petting pool was a new experience too. There's a nicely decorated cafe (we got a free coffee with a family ticket) overlooking a play area outside on the promenade. The recycling exhibit was overly sombre at the end of the tour.
The visit is very pleasant and the path is interesting with posters and exhibitions. The place is not very big but there are spectacular types of marine animals. I suggest to avoid peak time as it could be stressing waiting in the queue. Near the exit, you can touch a number of live examples like the star fish, pepino do mar, etc. There is a small restaurant inside, which can also serve people not in the aquarium from the side overlooking the beach.

Beach frequented by locals, with an image of a place to be. Surf breaks literally meters from the beach so it is lovely for a swim. Some "disconected" foodstalls ice merchants and rent a canoe. Nature around it is really impressive and truly worth a visit.
Good beach, the sand is very coarse (and it gets everywhere :p), even hurts the feet a bit, the ocean had lots of big waves, not good for swimming (the day I went, at least), but it's good, beautiful, there is a kiosk with several options and very, very good service, they are incredible polite and handy, a bit expensive.
If you're not going to the beach from Taubaté via Oswaldo Cruz, you can expect a kinda long trip, but it's definitely worth it. (Also, if downtown Ubatuba traffic is in a jam, try going through Rio Escuro. It's a muddy way, but definitely worth the view.
The beach, as most of Ubatuba beaches, is removed from the main road. If you go all the way down by car, there are some paid parking lots. We parked at Bruzy for 35BRL.
We also stayed at Bruzy. There are tables closer and further away from the sea. The further ones are sheltered from the sun not only with parasols but also with trees.
The service is very good, the price of the beverages is sensible (for a beach) and the portions are well served, lacking a little in savor.
The beach has very fine white sands and a very clear water. The waves are around 1m high.
Strongly recommend.
A good choice among the Ubatuba beaches, they offer a boat service to Ilha do Prumirim. It's worth a visit.

Wonderful place to invest 2 or 3 hours walking among beautiful and harmonious gardens to admire.
This is a very beautiful and well maintained place with lots of nice shaded spots to take photos and plenty of photo moments to be had if you’re so inclined! One thing I would have liked to have seen more of was signage. There was plenty of general signage about the areas (in Portuguese of course so get your translator ready if you don’t speak the language!) but none specifically for trees and plants. Overall enjoyable, and we spent around 90 minutes wandering around.
Food is amazingly good. Restaurant has incredible views of the mountains and valley, beautiful scenery. Menu is very wide, portions are well served. Staff and service also very attentive and nice. One can also visit the gardens in a park at the restaurant, which is also very much worth the time.
Beautiful Park. There you can find thematic gardens ( the theme is the different gardens you can find in different countries). There is a garden Jurassic park themed (they are still building it). It's a good place for a walk or to bring your kids. The landscape is breathtaking!
A beautiful place to spend some time on, the park has some theme gardens onsite. They also have a restaurant and a souvenirs store. Visits can be guided if you prefer. Its on a mountain so 1.2km up and then 1.2km down. It has some animals (macaw parrot e.g.) and a lot of good spots for making photos. The ticket to visit the park costs BRL 30 (Feb/2020), there's also a quad bike trail (BRL 100). The visit on foot will take you something as 2 hours going up with a guide and down taking photos by yourself.

To reach this attraction, visitors can take a bus from Rodoviaria de Paraty to the neighborhood of Penha. This was amazing! Definitely a must visit!! We went on a rainy day, which was actually perfect! Make sure to bring your swimsuit, because you can take incredible pics here! (it may have been due to the rain, but we did not pay for entrance. I think I saw a sign that normally there is an entrance fee but we’re not sure as the desk was closed)
Around 100 metres from the church at Penha you will arrive at the river where the rock formation is used by locals and tourists as a slide. A few steps to the middle of the river where you can slide down! It is so much fun and the locals even surf down it. It’s free admission and there are small pool formations at the bottom, middle and top for refreshing. Definitely work a visit if you’re staying in Paraty. You definitely do not need a guide; we caught the o local bus from Paraty bus station for R$5 per person to Penha, you can’t miss it.
I didn't expect much from this local attraction but to be honest I was absolutely blown away by it! It was extreme fun watching locals pulling off incredible tricks as well as sliding yourself. It is quite bigger than in the pictures and don't worry it is absolutely safe though there are spots on the slide that can be quite painful. But no worries, nothing too serious!
The locals are there to help you slide. Ask them to take you into the waterfall right next to it. You can enter the waterfall, chill inside and then slide out again. Amazing experience!
It is all for free but if you appreciate locals' help, you can give them a tip in the tip jar hanging on the tree next to the slide.
Absolutely recommended to anyone staying in Paraty! Taxis will take you here for about 40 Reals.

Paid R$20 for parking and there are toilets in the car park you can use and don’t have to pay extra for when you pay for parking. 5 min walk to the bottom of the waterfalls. 5 min climb up to the top. 2 life guards helping people slide down the waterfalls (it’s like a natural water slide). There is a restaurant at the top which we didn’t go to but it looked nice!

It's an awesome ride! 🚆 I've been here with a choir group in 2017 for a music festival. It was great taking this old train and sightseeing.
