First, the service provided by EVERYONE was excellent, we felt very safe during all the activities and we left with, in addition to adventure, more knowledge about the Atlantic Forest. Everyone was super professional and experienced. Second, the lunch was sensational, delicious homemade food at a super fair price! Finally, the activities, which were equally incredible! The rafting with Palhaço (Marco) was simply perfect. The zip line with all the super prepared professionals was a delight, the tree climbing was challenging and super fun, the trail was a unique experience with Murilo and there was also canoeing and stand up paddle boarding with a lot of fun too! I have no words to thank you, I want to go back many times, we couldn't have been more positively surprised than we were! You guys are awesome! (Translated by Google) A cool tour, but for those who like a little more adventure, the tour on the calmer/calmer river becomes very tiring and time-consuming lol Because there are only two parts that really have adrenaline. But the team itself is very cool and the instructors are very helpful and kind. (Translated by Google) The river is very beautiful, the landscape and the photos it provides are sensational. The river is suitable for swimming, but I must admit that it was a bit of an unusual experience to see several people in bathing suits entering the river in the middle of the city center. But it is worth seeing. There are usually several stalls at the markets and umbrellas near the river. Goodness. If there was a negative rating, I would apply it in this rare case. If you spent your childhood years and summers here, then surely its a memory from childhood and scores a 5 on emotional points. If you are a foreigner and have traveled to pretty much any other beach anywhere else on earth, then do not come here. Dark murky sewer infested water with crowded buildings and absolutely no infrastructure. Drive to any other destination and you are sure to find a better way to spend your time. Or stay home and watch netflix with some popcorn

(Translated by Google) I never imagined someone could make a crepe bad. Well, they did. Not to mention the terrible service. I went with my young daughter to buy a simple crepe. The place was empty, and it still took a while. There were two people making it, and the excuse was that "the machine was cold." Well, if it's a place that sells crepes, the ideal is to have the machine warm so the customer doesn't have to wait for a quick snack. I think because I asked if it would still take (as I said, my daughter is little and hungry), it seems they got angry and made her crepe bad. It was a cheese one, and it tasted strange, with a completely hard, brown crust (inedible). I tried to cut the crust so she could at least eat the filling. She took about three bites and said it was bad. And it was. A shame.

(Translated by Google) I ordered a simple pastel and they sent me the wrong order. Instead of accepting the error and sending me the correct one, they chose to put on a show. First, they forced the waitress to bring my pastel back to the table and cut it in half in front of me, trying to prove they'd sent it correctly. But it was wrong, just as I'd said. This left the waitress completely embarrassed; after all, it wasn't her fault, but she was the one who had to make the situation uncomfortable. Then they sent the correct one. But as if that weren't enough, when I went to pay, the cashier (who I assumed was the one in charge) came over to thank me for pointing out the error in the most passive-aggressive way I've ever seen in a restaurant. Even after I paid, she insisted on "thanking me" again, making things even more awkward. For a place that charges non-customers 10 reais to use the restroom, I don't understand the need for such a fuss over a pastel that would have been wasted because of their mistake. In short, I don't recommend it and won't be back.

Takes time to get to and doesn't have the infrastructure of some other beaches closer to city centers, but the natural beauty of this beach is worth the trip. Waves tend to be bigger, the beach is not protected by a bay.

Amusement park
Beto Carrero World is the largest theme park in Latin America, located in Penha. It offers a mix of thrilling entertainment with themed thrill rides, live cabaret shows, and a zoo. The park is known for its variety of attractions suitable for the whole family. Additionally, Penha boasts beautiful beaches and delicious seafood cuisine, making it an ideal destination for a fun-filled vacation.
A great place for a vacation. Beto Carrero stands out to me because this is one of the first amusement parks that I visited outside my home country. The park has a wide variety of food to choose from though I won't recommend having them if you are in there for rides which gets crazy. I did the following rides, Spin: Perhaps one of the easiest rides. I enjoyed it and maybe you would too. Roller Coaster: This one was crazy. I could barely keep my eyes open throughout the ride though my girlfriend enjoyed the ride. She wants to go for it again tomorrow. Madagascar circus: This was brilliant. I loved it, my girlfriend loved it, the kids loved it and everyone loved it. Though I didn't understand Portuguese, I still could make out what was going on in the circus. River adventure: This made me the happiest because I was relaxed throughout the ride and thankfully it didn't try to kill me. Overall, I am very content with the adventure park. It is beautifully decorated with colours and has those majestic rides that give you an instant adrenaline rush. I am planning to go back tomorrow again to secure the rides I missed on Day 1. I will post another review shortly.

As a theme park junkie, BCW provides a magical atmosphere for adrenaline seekers and family outings! The Fire Whip is a best in class inverted coaster and the Madagascar river boat is a never ending water maze of fun. You’ll enjoy the Beto Carrero theme through the entire park - plus it’s clean, and the ride lines weren’t too long (we visited on a Monday). The best part is that the staff were friendly and all aspects were firing on all cylinders - all rides and food open! Whip it good!

It is really nice place to visit with your kids and let your inner child go crazy with them. Somedays It is full occupied with the school kids trips. The staff need to be on top of crowd management during these busy times with school trips. Better rent stroller ( for kids) or scooter for old people or for yourself in case can't walk enough ( it's huge place to walk around for the shows and attractions). Advice you can rent items outside instead of inside the parque as the prices are way higher
Namaste F — Google review
Amazing park with tons to do for every age and taste! The only catch is: I recommend buying ONLINE AHEAD of time, as the day they wanted to charge us 3x the price but after letting them know we’d not pay that, the manager checked and they were able to give us a discount but it still cost twice as much. Overall great day between shows and rides, ending with fireworks and every one back. Would go back and get tickets/food choices prior to arriving. Ps. Parking is paid extra and they do allow you to enter with backpacks and water ;)
Thuany O — Google review
If I could go back in time, I’d never step foot in this park again. We’re not guests there we’re walking wallets. You guys keep milking us like cows, trying to squeeze every last penny out of us, and we would pay if we were happy , but we were on 100% disappointment . In these photos, you can see a screenshot showing the duration of one of the rides. We waited 45 minutes “Fast Pass” To go for a 40 seconds ride , and you call this “entertainment.” ?? The ride ended before I could even blink, and before you catch your breath, the employee is already rushing you out so the next 600 guests can be pushed in. Absolute garbage. In one of the videos, you can actually see people fighting, angry, shouting, completely frustrated. And that’s where the whole idea of an amusement park disappears. People shouldn’t be angry in a place meant for joy. The woman in that video didn’t even have what it called “Fast Pass” she’d been waiting for three hours. To get a ride for her kids, Meanwhile, your teenage employees move slowly, and couldn’t care less about the people. My advice to the management: Set a limit for yourselves. All this chaos happens because you accept as many guests as you can possibly fit , just to squeeze out a few more millions in the profit margin . Have some decency and put a cap, especially during high season, so people can actually enjoy and leave happy. And please, stop hiring only teenagers. Hire mature, trained adults who can actually handle problems when they arise. My advice to visitors: Avoid this place during high season. If you must go, try March or April , it might be slightly better. Be warned: everything inside is overpriced. Food, drinks, snacks , everything. Popcorn costs +R$30, a basic meal is R$50+, and there are endless extra fees. Don’t think buying the ticket is all you’ll spend , for two adults, expect at least R$300 for entry, another R$200 for the “Fast Pass,” plus 200 drinks and water. In general I won’t come back there again.

Perfect place to enjoy with kids! Beto Carrero park has a lot of attractions (radical, cultural and relaxing) for all ages. I recommend at least 2 days to enjoy most of the attractions If you are travelling with kids. They have partnership with DreamWorks Studios, which allow BCW deliver theme areas and shows, such as Madagascar, Shrek and Trolls.

You have to be organize to ride the most attractions possible if you dont have the fast pass the files for most rides are loooooooooong but kinda worth it (?) the food is expensive but overall it was so much fun and a unique experience i wanna come back soon with friends

I don't need to tell you this beach is amazing. But I do recommend visiting between sept- nov and from about april to Jun. The crowds in the summer are miserable. You will find some decent warm days in the winter to enjoy the beach as well. Wonderful restaurants and shops around too.

Cristo Luz is a 33-meter-tall monument located in Balneario Camboriu, resembling the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro but with unique features such as Jesus wearing a broad-brimmed hat. At night, the statue is illuminated with colorful lights that change periodically, casting a spotlight on the city.
We arrived just a bit after 4:00PM when it opened to have a magnificent view of the city and the Christ statue up close. We stuck around and had a few drinks while we waited for the illumination, first the face at 6:30 and then the body alternating among all of the colors at 7:00. It was a lovely evening. There is a restaurant there also but we went elsewhere.

Cristo Luz is one of the most iconic attractions in Balneário Camboriú and absolutely worth visiting! The view from the top is spectacular you can see the entire city, the beach, and the coastline lit up at night, which makes it a truly unforgettable experience. The statue itself is beautiful, especially when illuminated with different colors that change throughout the evening, creating a magical atmosphere. The place is well maintained, organized, and easy to reach. There’s also a restaurant and a viewing area where you can relax, take photos, and enjoy the scenery. The staff is friendly and everything feels very safe and welcoming. Visiting at sunset or after dark is the best time the combination of the lights, music, and panoramic views is breathtaking. It’s definitely one of those must-see attractions that capture the charm and energy of Balneário Camboriú. Highly recommended for tourists and locals

Great view, easy to access, free parking with very quick shuttle bus to the top. Not much walking required for elderly and easy access with pram except for very top of Cristo. I went early and there was hardly anyone there but I think later on there's more of a party vibe happening and the restaurants open. Worth visiting as a tourist.

The Beer Museum Blumenau, established in 1996 and currently undergoing renovations for a reopening in the second half of 2022, offers an immersive journey through the history of beer production in Santa Catarina. Visitors can explore antique brewing equipment and watch videos that showcase the evolution of beer-making processes over time. The museum's collection includes artifacts from major breweries such as Feldmann and Brahma, providing insight into the region's rich brewing heritage.
An amazing experience! Roberto walked me through the museum and I was amazed at the quality of the presentation, information presented, and the thoughtfulness behind each part of the museum. It is very well curated and offers a lot of information not only about the process of making beer but the history too. A must see if you are in Blumenau!

Vila Germânica Park is a Bavarian-style village featuring half-timbered buildings housing shops and eateries, including the renowned Bier Vila. The park hosts the city's most traditional festival, Oktoberfest, offering a chance to savor regional cuisine and experience the largest concentration of German-style buildings, along with shops, restaurants, and breweries. Additionally, during Christmas in Blumenau, the park becomes part of a festive program with illuminated streets and outdoor Christmas displays.
"Oktoberfest Blumenau is an incredible celebration of culture and tradition! The atmosphere is vibrant, with lively music, fantastic parades, and authentic German food and beer. The attention to detail in the costumes and decorations really adds to the experience. It's well-organized, and despite the large crowds, everything runs smoothly. Whether you're there for the music, the beer, or just to soak up the energy, it’s a festival that should not be missed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Germany in Brazil!"

We went for Oktoberfest so was great to visit. Well set up and decorated. Like a little German village dull of shops as well as the large hall where the live bands and dancing was held. Extremely busy on the Saturday, hard to walk and waited in line for food, beer or toilet for at least 20 minutes. Friday was better as less people. You can purchase the ticket across the road for the Oktoberfest before entering. Full german costume gets you half price entry. Food was average.

Terrible : - A major issue happened with the (electric) shower the first day we arrived with no one willing to help. The wifi and electricity system overall is bad. - The elevator is scarier than the ones in horror movies; people got stuck in it during our stay, it shakes and makes a terrifying noise. - The staff is unhelpful and rude. Being polite is the least you have to do when working in tourism, replying to a "hello" and saying "thank you" is free! Nobody wears a mask, it must be a magical place (no) where the pandemic disappeared (still not). - The wifi is weak and slow. (It feels like) no one really cares about this place or clients. Run away !

Praia Brava is a 1.5 km long public beach located in the north of the island, between Praia da Lagoinha and Praia dos Ingleses. It faces northwest-southeast and is surrounded by cliffs, making it an open ocean with clear waters and wild waves that are perfect for surfing, body boarding, and stand-up paddleboarding. During the summer months, there are food tents on the beach to serve visitors.
This is beautiful white sand beach engulfed with hills from both ends and with lots of options for snacks, drinks and ice creams. The beach is ideal for bathing and chilling. Also there is proper space for parking and the same is free also there are separate bio-toilets.

Easily one of the top 3 beaches for me! Surrounded by nature and with strong waves, amazing fun.

In my opinion, this is the best and most beautiful beach in the whole island. It’s super clean with beautiful waves with crystal clear water everybody in the beach area super friendly. There are some residential areas and residential houses. The neighboring people are super friendly and they welcome you to the beach. The sand is super clean. I visited this place during May and I really enjoyed it. I highly suggest this place to people who want to enjoy Crystal Clearwater, nice hot sand. Fantastic place to relax!!!

In all probability, and in my opinion, this is the best beach in Santa Catarina. Easy access, plenty of space, and lots of options to get sunbeds and parasol, moreover, lots of places to get some treat.

WONDERFUL place, quiet, felt.so good! Great in the winter!

The waves there are very big, that's what I like about this beach because I play with my family and we all have fun.
Fabián P — Google review
Nice beach with soft white sand. One place that sells beverages and not many beach vendors here so bring at least your own food. Not much parking around except private for hotels and condominiums. Paragliding available and it's a nice experience from the nearby hills.

I wish I could truly verbalize what it feels when arrive and spread your wings soaring over and through this enchanted part of our Mother Earth… I guess it’s up to your curious instincts to find out…

Great clean beach with lovely waves and water is just right for swimming. There's lots of cafes and restaurants and bars along the beach with a great atmosphere!
Nick D — Google review
The Americas have a completely wrong idea as to what makes a city livable. This is a place that boasts a sandy beach but waves that make swimming unfeasible. Proof of that is that 90% of the beachgoers are lying or sitting on the beach, but very few venture to go inside the sea and even fewer bother to swim. Add to that the mostly cloudy skies and the ever-present rain, and you've got the picture. Furthermore, there are no cafés to speak of as coffee culture in these parts of the world is practically nonexistent, and the restaurants are nothing to brag about. Finally ,the absence of any other form of entertainment makes this place an absolute tedium. Complete waste of my money. Give me the Mediterranean any time!

Busy beach. A lot of activities and restaurant. White sand beautiful beach

It is absolutely incredible, crystal clear water, and so much to do.

From the beaches in Florianópolis, this is surely the most commercial one, it has nothing special and pales in a comparison with its neighbors, especially Santinho.

I rested here in June, when there is almost no one on the beach and I felt very good here. I enjoyed beautiful sunsets and fresh air every day.

Great beach, but too many people, Low season or weekdays very comfortable, Nice to swim,

In all likelihood, this beach is probably the most busiest beach in Santa Catarina. Lots of people, it is hard to find a parking space. However, the upside with it is there are a lot of places to eat and get some food. Not far from Canasvieiras centre.

White sandy beach backed by palm trees, popular for swimming & snorkelling.
Easily one of my favorite beaches in Florianópolis. Beach is clean, sand is super fine. Loved this beach!

This is an amazing beach. I would always go back to this place with my friends. The water is super calm and you can take amazing. Sunset pictures.

Quiet calm beach. Spotted dolphins as well. The food stalls are great too.
Suriyan R — Google review
One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. Small waves, has a view to the opposing mountains that are so beautiful and keep changing colors as the day goes by. Views from the fortress are 10/10.

Awesome beach ⛱️ for families
Martin M — Google review
Beautiful and calm beach with parking, restaurants and oyster farm. Nice sunset too. Only downside is the tiny the road to get there, you'd rather go on weekdays to avoid manouvering your car.

Praia do Forte (Fortress Beach) is a nice little beach nested after a steep mount at the end of Jurerê Internacional beach. It's always calm, offers a great view of the mainland, and a beautiful sunset. The sea is shallow for a long stretch, with short waves. Great for bringing children. You can get there by car, but make sure you can navigate through very, very steep hills, especially on the way back. The road is narrow, passing just one car in a few places. Bad if you are the one coming up and need to stop to let the other driver go through. You can also park before the mount, and walk through the Fortress to get to the beach. There are a few restaurants offering seafood. Nothing fancy, but always good and fresh. Recommended.

Great beach with nice restaurants and calm water, good for a quiet afternoon with the kids, local fortress ruins to explore.
