Luiz Argenta is a must-visit destination for anyone, whether you're a wine enthusiast or just looking to enjoy a beautiful day out. I scheduled my visit a few days in advance and was pleasantly surprised to join an exclusive tour not listed online, thanks to our group size. The vineyard itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views that enhance the experience of learning about wine production. During the tour, we explored the plantation and even had the chance to pick some grapes ourselves!
It's a great place to visit wether you like wine or not. We scheduled the visit a couple days before and because we were in a group we managed to get a tour that was not listed on the website.
The vineyard is breathtaking and it's quite interesting to learn more about the wine production. We had a tour around the plantation and picked some grape. After that we had a picnic with cheese, fruit and wine. We also had the opportunity to visit the manufacturer and the wine cellar. There was also a tasting part in which we were blindfolded and savored some different sparkling wines. At the end, we had a lunch on the bistro.

Very nice park with waterfalls and wild animals. It is a perfect place for you coming with your family for a happy day. However, remember that this is a touristic place. So, if you don't like crowded places, it is better you come during the weeks days, in low season periods.
Like many things in Gramado/Canela, the Caracol Park is overpriced. R$75 for an adult or 90 with the mirador. Add to that parking (30) and if you want to do the little train inside (hard to avoid with kids) it’s another 20.
The views are nice, and compared to other things in the area it’s not a complete rippoff, but it’s too expensive nonetheless

Price is way too expensive - R$70 per person for regular adults. We saw the waterfall for free by going to the cable car park farther down the road, entering the car gate on foot and walking to the viewpoint by the parking lot - the only problem with that one is that you currently can't see the bottom quarter of the falls because some trees are in the way.

Mundo a Vapor is a unique theme park that showcases various miniature steam-powered machines in full operation. Visitors can marvel at mini replicas of paper mills, potteries, blacksmith shops, steel foundries, and more. There are very few attractions in Gramado and Canela that have any information available in the English language - either a piece of paperwork or anyone who speaks English. Mundo a Vapor gave us an incredible personalised tour entirely in English, with only 5 mins waiting time. Unfortunately we did not get the name of our guide, but would like to personally thank him for his efforts.
This is an incredibly interesting museum even if you do not have a particular interest in steam engines, taking you on a tour of steam history through the world.
It was more entertaining than I expected, they have different machines explaining how the steam systems works and how we evolved some engineering processes. It was fun to know more about the old way of doing things.

There's lots of museums in gramado but not many to actually worth to visit. this place is popular museum in gramado. good to know vapor system in 1900's. It was also interesting in the train, haning and through out the wall, is real incident in Paris in 1980's.
Museum themed on the age of steam. The locomotive hanging out the front of the building is replica of an actual railway disaster which happened in Paris in 1895.
There is a mini train ride which last 3 minutes, several displays of traction engines how they transformed agriculture and industry from horse power to relying on steam driven engines to operate heavier load.

Mais de 30 minutos para as bebidas chegarem, e ainda assim, nos entregarem um chopp que estávamos vendo parado há mais de dez minutos em cima do balcão, agora quente.
A comida no cardápio é linda, mas a comida real é péssima. Salada com tantas folhas que não tem espaço para os outros ingredientes no prato, totalmente sem tempero; vazio que tem cara de tudo menos de vazio; aipim super duro, impossível de comer; costela 12 horas pura gordura; um prato que não veio.
Impossível conseguir conversar com algum garçom enquanto esperávamos, passavam rápido pela mesa sem olhar para os clientes. Quando levantávamos para perguntar sobre nossos pedidos, falavam que iam ver e não nos davam retorno.
Ah, quanto ao preço, cobram valor bem superior ao que oferecem. Não dá para considerar que é um lugar barato e que por isso que o serviço e a comida são péssimos.
Enfim, foi uma péssima experiência. Espero muito que melhorem ou que troque logo a administração, pois o ponto é ótimo para quem frequenta o lindo Lago Negro.

Expensive and super worth it, we went for the skiing experience and you have to pay separately for the entrance ticket and the rentals to ski or snowboard. Classes are available and all the instructors were really kind and fun! There was a skate show too that was super fun, and lots of other activities. Wear layers and I would recommend doubling your socks. Best experience in Gramado/Canela

Unfortunately this place isn't as organized as before and the long queues til you enter and get dressed takes much of the vibes away. Also, now you gotta PAY to leave your shoes stored and have to take another queue for that.
We didn’t expect that we were able to Ski and Snowboard in Brazil.
We can enjoy it with artificial snow.
We can rend cloth, shoes and grove to do snow tube slider.
And if we pay additional fee, we can Ski and Snowboard. We can also rend Ski and Snowboard tool. On the weekend, there will be very crowded. So you need to buy entrance fee by interest in advance.
The park is really nice, especially for kids. However, when it's too crowded it's not well organized. We had to wait over an hour just to get dressed in at least three different queues. It can be confusing.

Awful experience during the school holidays. Heavily overbooked, super long queues, uttet chaos when having to find clothes, boots and gloves. Few staff members and management on site to help. And when we managed to get to the 'snow' after 2 hours, we went tubing once because the queues were so ridiculous. So then we thought we'd go ice skating, to find that the last time was 4.30pm. Utter waste of money and will never return.
We arrived on a low season period and once at the door we were approached by two employees with badges of the place saying that they were putting us all through the “event”, because the place was full. The “event” was them trying to sell us a time sharing. Nothing against them selling this, but what bothers a lot is them LYING saying is full so they can get our data. When we found that out, we just said no and asked to buy a regular ticket to go in and there was NOBODY on the line of cashier number 5 where they sell regular tickets for people who do not want to buy their time sharing. Inside the place, as we expected there were not many people, but the attractions had very confused rules, some they said kids needed to have at least 1,15m but nobody was reinforcing it, while in others they were turning kids out for 1 centimeter. The restaurant on the 2nd floor was almost empty but they not only took a long time to bring our food but also made a mistake on our order. We felt really disrespected at the front door as we were lied by official employees and the confuse rules and bad service at the restaurant
I was happily impressed by this place! Staffs is well trained and is organized so clients could invest the time in the fun without jeopardizing the safety!

Reasonable prices, not that attractive. Too hot, the place requires more trees and plants to be more pleasant. Or change the whole buzz for a closed/indoor place, a.k.a. mall.
A lot of shoes, that's what this shopping centre is about. The outlets are not as cheap or as discounted as they should be though, given the outlet name.

It may be because I am comparing this shopping centre to the ones in Australia, but it is quite small. I’d say there are enough shops to cover the basics of what you would need, but I expected a lot more clothing stores. Food stores don’t open until close to lunch and if you are English speaking and don’t know much Portuguese, make sure to have google translate ready, as almost no one speaks English. Not a big deal though! Staff were more than happy to converse using the google translate app.
Pretty cool place, but I don't speak Portuguese so I didn't really know what was going on. It seemed like a nice place!

Second visit for me. Great to see the Immortal Tricolor beat Tombense 3-0 on 16 July 2022. Crowd at 25,000 and enjoyed every minute of the faithful fan songs.

Great and modern stadium, home of Grêmio one of the most traditional Brazilian football teams.They don't sell beer inside and there is a metro station quite close. If you are not from the city i suggest to take a cab or Uber.
We went for the Guns ‘n Roses concert. Very good stadium with good structure. Just be careful on the surroundings, when getting there or when going home.
Very nice soccer stadium in Porto Alegre. Architecturally outstanding. Just think is important after the game to have a better organization to exit the area.

Nice place to walk run and enjoy with the family
A nice park with chill atmosphere in the middle of this concrete jungle called Porto Alegre. It is the perfect place for you come with your children or your partner. During the week days you can relax a little bit, however, weekends are very crowded and noisily.

A fantastic city park in the middle of Porto Alegre. Lots of playground equipment for children to use, plenty of park benches and open spaces to have a picnic or just enjoy people watching. A marked fitness path circles the park as well. As of August 2023 the central pond area is closed for reconditioning, but still ple ty to do and see here!
Nice place to have a stroll around. They could do with putting more seating areas or picnic tables etc but the grounds itself are lovely.

Old building very not well taken care of. There are independent fish markets (complete with the authentic Yelling) and health food stores, but the rest is mediocre cafes, overpriced sit down food, mediocre padarias, insanity of panhandling and graffiti outside. Only reason I would come back is if- IF- I wanted fish from the fishmonger, Cafe do Mercado (also exists praia de belas) or Temakieria.

I can't believe I lived in Porto Alegre for 3 years before visiting this jewel! Come here first if you're looking for artesenal gifts or souvenirs that are unique and truly reflect Porto Alegre. It's also a great place just to pass the day. Lot's to see, tons of restaurant options, clearly a popular spot in the city, for shopping, walking, running, or just getting some air.
It's a beautiful and quite big park. Locals love to go on weekends and I would recommend to tourist do the same. The park is fun this days when is full of people, but can be quite dangerous the other days of the week. Here you can be robbed even with violence, so try to not go alone. Same applies to the city in general. Try to stay just were is other people and you will see just the nicer face of the city.
