Had my own private tour guide who spoke English well. $6 USD entry fee in Dec 2024. Spent quite a bit of time in the mine because I am very interested. Really cool to see! But the polished rocks in the gift shop are more costly than back home (2-3 times more expensive) plus you’d have to carry them on your travels. Some fist size amethyst specimens, for example, are over $50 USD. Ouch. No thank you. I don’t have confidence that most of those rocks in the shop come from the mine, other than the amethyst and some citrine. There were some booths along the road I wish I checked out that may sell local specimens at a more reasonable price, but I ran out of time. Buffet lunch with drink for one person at the nice on-site restaurant was $23 USD plus tip. Worth it to check out! (Took away one star for the overblown prices in the shop).

If you’re in the area, this is a nice, interesting place to stop but, because it’s such a short tour, don’t go too far out of your way. My guide spoke English so that helped a lot. The mines were very interesting and the jewelry in the gift shop is VERY beautiful - so be careful!

We visited the Wanda Mines early in the morning, crossing from Brazil into Argentina around 7 AM to avoid the border crowds. The drive took about an hour from the Brazilian side, passing through two small towns before reaching Wanda, a quiet community founded by Polish and German immigrants after World War II. This was one of the first places we visited on our trip, and it was worth the drive. Gonzalo the tour guide, was incredibly patient with our son and did his best to include him throughout the visit. The gift shop at the end is lovely, if a little bit pricey considering we were at the mines.

We are from the United States and really liked the mine tour. One of the guides speaks English which were were grateful for. He gave us a really nice tour. The shop is very nice with items at all price points. We hired a taxi from Puerto Iguazu who drove us to mine, waited, and returned us to Puerto Iguazu.

An absolutely breathtaking place both from the Argentinan side and the Brazilian side. The boat ride was exhilarating I'd definitely recommend a visit, you will understand why it's one of the 7 natural wonders of the world., incredible.

We visited on the Brazilian side on the one day a year they have free entry (unbeknownst to us) so it was mobbed, but it’s definitely worth the visit. Beautiful, natural, and extremely powerful. Plus some interesting wildlife!

First time visiting here. Words, like the many photos and videos I took, don't do it justice. Words like wow, grandeur, incredible, breathtaking, only begin to highlight the vastness and the power displayed. Very organized by the administration, where five bus stops each begin different viewpoints. Frequency of busses are great. Paths and many scenic views are well maintained. Many people are there throughout the hours of operation. Large parking area. Cars also park outside the entrance for free, with an added < 1 km walk. Due to its immensity, prepare to walk! We walked along all the paths that we saw, and spent about 6 hours walking. Even with large crowds, it didn't distract from the beauty or the photo-ability. Parking was about US $11 per day. We bought a two-day pass for about $61. A one-day pass would have cost about $40.

Grand waterfalls not to be missed. Spanning across Argentina, Brazil, Paragray, it has hundreds of falls. The view on the Brazil side is the best but a bit far. The Argentina side is great for getting close to waterfalls and some trails.

Worth a visit. Expect to get wet from the spray if the falls. Bring a poncho or buy one. Buses take you to the falls from the park entrance.

It is one of the wonder of the world I have to say that the nature did his job and deliver a beautiful vision and sound and filling The way to the fall is on metal bridges very Nero and it lead to a small balconies that you can enjoy all of what the nature offering Hope for a change for the future

Definitely worth the hype! 100% recommend to visit the Argentine side on the first day (to “feel” it) and then visit the Brazilian side the next day (for the panoramic view).

Incredible experience bountiful nature and incredible from the waterfall to the trees to the Lions, jaguars and monkeys. God bless America!

The grandeur of the massive Iguazu Falls is always spectacular, and it makes me humble before God's creation.

Seeing Iguazu Falls for the first time was one of those moments that burns into your soul forever. As I stood there, the roar of the water pounding below, mist rising into the sky like a living spirit - I literally stopped breathing for a moment. It was so overwhelming, so breathtaking, that time just froze.

Cataratas del Iguazú are absolutely breathtaking. The sheer power of the falls, surrounded by lush rainforest and wildlife, makes the experience unforgettable. Both the Argentine and Brazilian sides offer stunning views, but the Garganta del Diablo is the true highlight. Well-organized trails, great photo spots, and a sense of awe at every turn—an essential destination.

One of the most beautiful and impressive places I have ever seen! It’s just magnificent! A shame I only had the chance to visit it for a few hours, and stayed at the Brazilian side. The walk could take you about 1-2 hours depending on your pace, photos, souvenirs shopping, etc.

One of the most natural exhilarating sights. Everything you read is true. Argentina Iguazu Falls is epic. Lots of walking so dress accordingly to keep cool. Take some snacks and a water. Wear sunscreen and hat. You may need bug spray. Make sure your phone and camera are fully charged for all the pictures you will take. Super easy to navigate the trails. You will see tons of wildlife and we took the jungle boat cruise instead of the trail or train. Don't miss this!

We visited both sides of Iguazu Falls, Brazil and Argentina and loved both. On the Brazil side we enjoyed the walks and panoramic views of all the waterfalls. In the afternoon we joined a speedboat tour, prayed for front row seats and were blessed to get what we wished for. We cruised the river at high speeds, hitting rapids but the true highlight was going under three of the waterfalls and getting completely drenched. The return ride caused more drenching as the boat pilot intentionally steered us into rapids. Prepare to get drenched. Lockers are available at low cost for personal belongings. Bring your phone at your own risk, just clutch it tight..

Visiting Iguaçu National Park was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. Standing before the waterfalls, I felt completely humbled by their sheer force and beauty. The thunder of the water echoed through the jungle, the mist kissed my face, and rainbows danced in the sunlight. It was impossible not to feel the energy of nature there — wild, breathtaking, and absolutely unforgettable.

There's no word, no photo or video to describe this place. It's one of those spectacular mother nature displays that you have to see it to believe it. We bought the 3-day pass online so we can explore every hiking trails. The 3-day pass gave us time to explore without feeling rushed. We practically spent about 6 hours daily at Iguazú National Park (INP). Wear comfortable shoes and definitely bring bug spray or they'll have a buffet on you! It's doable in 2 days, but it would have to be a full 8-hour day. We stopped to admire just about every waterfalls, animals, interesting plants, and rainbow we encountered. Kudos to the INP staff. They kept the park nice and clean, and there were plenty of signage. Most staff spoke good English. Oh, right before approaching the visitor center, there's usually a staff handing out a 10% discount coupon to one of the restaurants. We used the coupon daily for our lunch buffet. We also did the boat ride into the waterfalls. It was a blast! A MUST DO, albeit pricey. Buy your ticket a few days in advance because they were sold out on one of the days we had wanted. We bought our tickets online, and it was a simple process. Yes, you'll be soaked. If you're limited on time, both upper and lower falls are worth the time. Take the train (the fee is already included with INP entrance ticket) to explore both locations. Last, please don't feed the wild animals, no matter how cute they are :-).

Absolutely amazing day out. Lovely scenery and wildlife. Walks to the falls are exzilerating. We also did the crazy falls boat trip, which is a must, bring a change of clothes! 😁

Definitely a place to visit. You need two days minimum. Honestly two days and you will be blissed out on waterfalls. About 4 miles on the Brazilian side, 6-8 on the Argentinian side, and you’ll have seen the falls from every angle. And some interesting flora and fauna!

Unfortunately the day we visited the Brazilian side we had lots of rain. Nevertheless it was beautiful !! The Argentina side we really spent the whole day including a boat ride, the free train ride to devil's throat and hiked some paths. We visited both sides, if you don't have 2 days we would choose Argentina over this side. If you have more time try to do both :)
