If you are curious about the process of chocolate you should go this place. Even all informations were Portuguese, I could follow all informations thanks to my friend who translate all things for me :)
Zehra Ü — Google review
This farm was so cool! Worth a visit!! But the lecture on cocoa was a bit much at the end. We had a translator, but even still, it was really hard. The guy would not take breaks for her to translate. And he did not read the room. The Portuguese speakers also looked a bit despondent during this sermon on cocoa 🤣. The best part was walking through the farm and seeing the inside of the pods and how they are roasted and fermented.

It a cocoa plantation,, you learn about chocolate and then taste different % of chocolate. Great part of Brazil trip

(Translated by Google) The beach is beautiful and very calm. The sea has a lot of waves, but for those who don't like them, there is the option of the Acuípe River, which is a delight. Just one thing: it costs R$10.00 to cross to Ilha do Desejo, the only place to eat and drink. That's the bad part, because the prices are a bit steep and the portions are very small. The sun-dried meat with fries didn't even come in 15 pieces... (Original) A praia é lindíssima, super tranquila.

Passarela do Descobrimento, also known as the Alcohol Catwalk, is a vibrant seafront promenade in Porto Seguro. Lined with palm trees and pastel-colored colonial buildings, it offers a lively nightlife and shopping experience. Visitors can explore an array of shops, restaurants, bars, and carts selling alcoholic beverages. The area is perfect for indulging in local cuisine and purchasing unique souvenirs.
During the day it is easy to admire the colorful buildings. After 18:00 there are a lot of market stalls which can make it a bit crowded. Plenty of restaurants and shops available
Reinier D — Google review
A must visit, attractive, colorful and joyful part of the town to visit, with many stores to spend on and buy artisanal gifts for yourself or loved ones! Filled with fun people, events, as well as some rather annoying salespeople but they are the staple of what Porto Seguro tourism is about however, they are easy to avoid when you know the routes and how to say no 😄.
Manuel G — Google review
The only thing there's to do in Porto Seguro at night. Lots of people walking, dining, drinking and strolling around looking at a 💯 stands of alcohol, chocolates, Bahian food and some live music. It continues to be very live until the bars near the sea. Good few hours before calling it a night.
Dima — Google review
Stunning colorful streets in the day that transform at night into a vibrant market with restaurants, street food, craft markets, street performers. There is so much energy and good vibes.

A nice walk you can make around the city. It’s in between the sea and the shops. Around the evening it’s full of people and sellers. You should be careful with your belongings too. In conclusion, it’s beautiful way to see part of the culture of Porto Seguro.

Water & Amusement Parks
Water park with slides, pools & a beach, plus zip lines & performances of traditional dancing.
My experience at the park was very good, the weather is sunny and warm, I had a lot of fun at the park! It has many food options, affordable tickets, a nice and clean park, a good place to relax and several options for having fun. It's really worth going to the Arraial d'Ajuda park!!
Artur F — Google review
Very beautifully laid out park. The most beautiful thing is the forest in which the park is located. So much green and birds chirping everywhere. It would be a real "eco" park if the park would do without plastic. I don't understand why plastic cups and plates are used. This produces so much trash.
Ma X — Google review
Nice place for entertainment with some very nice slides and a very good wave pool. The food was also good with a good variety of things, although the system and process of getting the food was very Brazilian and a bit slow. They could also have a better variety of slides in the space they have. In conclusion it is a very nice place to go with your kids if you are hanging around Arajal d'ajuda.
Måns S — Google review
Nice family water/adventure park. Not huge, but has an area for smaller kids and then a lazy river, water slides, zip lines and other activities for older kids and adults. Tons of food options including self serve buffet by weight. You can spend half a day here or a full day easily.
Tisha H — Google review
Beautiful place and view, very neat and organized, lots of food options. A great way to pass your day, especially with small children
Eran I — Google review
I went to eco park on Wednesday, October 12-2022. For a tourist attraction that has been around this long should be more organized. The entry to this park is a joke. 1st - they have two people checking people for contraband items. But they seem to not check people who they personally know. I watched people enter with cookies, chocolate bars , potato chips numerous items. 2nd - the lineup to pay for entry is also a joke. They don’t have enough lines or people working the lines. 3rd - they only accept specific identification for the discount. If your like me who has been here living and have all my utilities included in my rent. They will not give you a discount even though my cell bill has my Arraial D’Ajuda address and my ferry card also. 4th - the so called life guards working the wave pool are also a joke. When the live entertainment is on they forget about the people in the pool. I had to swim over to a young girl to help her as she went to the deep end. I turned around and seen all 5 life guards watching the live entertainment. If that child was mine I would file a lawsuit against the workers and also the park for negligence. The other staff in the park were helpful and polite . 👍The food concessions were good . But again not enough of them based on days when there are holidays in this region. The staff who come around and clean up the tables and areas were excellent 👍 I was told by a few staff that it is much better on days when there is no holiday in the region. So I will go one more time and see even though I have to pay R$120.00 to enter . Unfortunately, based on this experience I would have to only give this park a 2 ⭐️.
Robert S — Google review
Loved the place as much as a Christian loves Christmas!
Luciano G — Google review
The facilities were good, but the money-grab was a deal breaker. You cannot bring your own food it drinks. You have to purchase food there, but you can't use cash or card--you have to put credit on a card that they provide for a small fee. If you use cash to put credit on that card, you can get back what you don't use, but you won't get anything back if you put credit on their food card using your credit or debit card. The food they sell is expensive and of poor to medium quality at best. Kids will probably have a good time, because they're not the ones paying for the experience. Adults, on the other hand, will probably be disappointed in regard to the cost/ benefit ratio.

Serene beach lined by palm trees & cliffs, offering panoramic views & nearby kiosks.
One of the best beaches in Arraial. It offers many good options of restaurants and bars, and they let you free to choose, different from other beaches in Brazil where every restaurant yells at you to have a table in it. The water in December is not that warm and the sea, specially during low tide, has a lot of algae. During high tides, the sea has stronger waves, and becomes better for entrainment.
João M — Google review
The water is more clean comparing to near beaches. Also I enjoyed the waves, they are not big at all but you can see them. There are places to eat and they have lockers for your belongings which is helpful. Don't leave your stuff alone on the beach!

Quadrado Trancoso Porto Seguro-BA

Quadrado is the beating heart of Trancoso, a charming 16th-century town with a mystical allure. This pedestrian-only square is a five-acre rectangle adorned with colorful former fishermens cottages, now transformed into stylish inns, shops, and eateries. The whitewashed church of Sao Joao Batista stands at one end while pristine Bahian beaches lie nearby.
Unarguably the heart of Trancoso, this beautiful square comes alive after dark with the ambiance of 100 lights, traditional brazilian music, art, a small crafts market and excellent eateries. Full of small town charm, the vibe of this place is just spectacular! Take some time to stroll through and connect with the amazing and warm locals.

Oscar A — Google review
What can i say, this place is just magical especially just about sunset when all the little quirky shops and restaurants turns on their fairy lights it's just so very beautiful and feels like you're in a space looking at one of our Galaxy arm, it's really is something you should experience in person, and if you think the photos is nice wait till you see it in person. Also the beach under this place with its famous little house at the bottom is well worth a visit as well.. Food is very nice and tasty, might not be cheap by local standards but for me with my money at the time of this review is equal to nearly 6 times the Brazilian money it's about a third of what you'll pay for a very decent meal in the UK, the prices for the food in restaurant prices are fixed but anything else you can haggle the price down quite a bit, don't pay the first price they say as they will hike the price up if they detect you're not from the country, just pay what you're comfortable with or politely walk away. I went there with my family, my wife did the talking as i don't talk Portuguese and as it turned out my father in low is an incredibly good haggler 🤣🤣 it's almost always was the kids that gave us away as they don't stop chattering in english 😡😂🤣 I simply love this place, it's stunning nature and views, and highly recommend a visit right around sunset where the magic happensand it comes alive.

(Translated by Google) You thought of paradise. It's in Caraíva. A coastal and riverside city. Where the sea and the Caraíva River meet. The sea is almost waveless and the waters are warm, in the stretch very close to the river. The river also has nooks and crannies and sandbanks so you don't have to worry. Those who know how to swim can cross the river safely. But there's something interesting about this river: at low tide the current takes you to the sea, but when the tide starts to rise the river has almost no current. As the tide rises the current reverses and goes from the sea to the river. It was a lot of fun. We floated down and up the river. Of course you need to know how to swim because you'll be carried to the middle of the river. But to get to paradise you'll have to struggle. Leaving Trancoso it takes about an hour and a bit on a dirt road, full of bumps and holes. When you arrive in Nova Caraíva, you have to park in the parking lot for 20.00 and take a boat to cross the river, which takes about 10 minutes, paying 5.00 per person for the round trip. There is no traffic in the city, and it is all sand. Before you get to the beach, there are small markets where you can stock up on drinks, which are very expensive at the stalls. As for food, we chose to stay at a Flamengo stall, with a lounge chair, and ordered a fish that was very good. A day of guaranteed fun in a paradisiacal place. (Original) Você pensou no paraíso.

At the end of the trail, there are canoeists who take you across to the village of Caraíva for a fee of 5 reais per person, but only in the morning and afternoon, as at night you can only cross at the port. In addition to being a good option for those staying nearby, it is also the preferred option for those who want to save money by avoiding parking. However, it is possible that some horses or motorcycles may appear along the way, so it is worth being a little careful... I went to Restaurante da Glória. I found the prices to be more expensive, but that's understandable, as it's quite isolated. Don't forget to go kayaking in the mangroves, where the water is very warm and dark. To get there from Corumbau, you need to take a boat (R$20 per person) if the tide is high. There is parking.

Wonderful food and I even found the prices affordable, considering how difficult it is to get there. It's totally worth it... Cumuru definitely won my heart and Barra do Cahy, one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, I'd even go as far as to say the most beautiful 😍 (Original) Lugar MARAVILHOSO, os perrengues da estrada valem a pena haha. Praia de Cumuruxatiba, also known as Praia do Pier, is a stunning destination with a tree-lined golden-sand shoreline that's perfect for swimming and leisurely walks. The area boasts excellent beachfront infrastructure, including top-notch restaurants like Ucanto da Cigana and Restaurante do Hermes. While prices may not be budget-friendly, there are more affordable options available at the snack bars and tapioca stalls around the town square.
This place it's amazing if you're looking dia a place to rest and relax. But the roads to get there it in really bad conditions, take care of its your time. Beach its quiet and very low waves which is suitable for kids.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful beach. The town's main attraction is the inns and beachfront restaurants. There is a small square that opens at night with several stalls and a restaurant for snacks. Excellent beach for children, the elderly and those who don't like waves. There are SUP and kayak rentals. There is a fishing village nearby. The stalls are more expensive than the others in Prado. I recommend Binotto's, where the food is very good. I left Prado about 35 km away, which was a little rainy, and took 1 hour and 30 minutes. The road was made of sand due to the rain, and it was a bit tense because it was very muddy and full of potholes. If it rains, think twice about going. It passes by several beaches. There are some beautiful cliffs to take pictures of, including Praia da Amendoeira, which is fantastic. It is worth the stop. (Original) Praia linda. Vale a pena a parada.

Praia Novo Prado

The Praia Novo Prado is a vast and spacious beach with powerful waves that vary depending on the day. It is not heavily crowded, which adds to its appeal. The beach itself is exceptionally beautiful and well-maintained. However, there is a section of the beach that has been taken over by affluent individuals who have built inns and houses along the shoreline, making it appear "private" and exclusive.

Parks
Abrolhos Marine National Park is a stunning destination that showcases the breathtaking beauty of marine life and vibrant ecosystems. This protected area features five islands surrounded by crystal-clear waters, making it an ideal spot for diving and whale watching. Visitors often rave about the friendly fish that seem unafraid of humans, creating perfect opportunities for underwater photography. While access can be tricky—especially if you're navigating with your own boat—the park rangers are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, enhancing your experience.
Beautiful marine park, the fish have no fear of humans and for photography it 's great. Access is a bit complicated and if you go with your own boat you are restricted to where you can stop and access to islands is off limits but the park rangers came out to meet us, were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and spoke various languages. Worth a visit!

We were in the water and on the boat for 2:30. 4 hours to get there and another 4 hours to get back. Full day 😁 My suggestion is not to buy this tour together with the accommodation. Leave it to settle there. The price is on average 320.00 with breakfast, lunch and snack. But the weather is very important for this adventure. Visitors are only allowed to disembark on Siriba Island. I only stayed for the photo very far from the island 🌴 😖😎😫. Wonderful diving! But for those who want to see whales 🐋 check the calendar👍🏽. Itaúnas dunes, located within the 36.7-sq-km Parque Estadual de Itaunas, offer a stunning natural experience with its expansive sand dunes that reach heights of 20m to 30m and provide breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding mangrove forest. The park is home to diverse wildlife including monkeys, sloths, wildcats, and sea turtles nesting from September to March.
Calm, safe, beautiful views and good vibes!

Such a wonderful natural place of beauty! To get to the beaches/restaurants, you have to go up a little hill of sand (through an opening off the main street) and then decend down and walk a little towards the direction of the water. On your way to the beaches, you will see a plaque describing the history of the old "vilas of Itaunas" and this sandy desert place is magical to take photos in. There is a choice of a few different cabanas or restaurants to hang out it, the food/drinks will be pricier than usual since this place is an attraction but it's nice to have this change of scenery not far for Vitória city center, so you get the city vibe as well as the nature retreat.

(Translated by Google) A wonderful place for a walk, secluded and safe enough to go with children and the elderly... warm water and no waves.

National Institute of the Atlantic Forest

The National Institute of the Atlantic Forest in Santa Teresa offers a serene location with hummingbird feeders as its main attraction. Visitors can observe about 8 different species of hummingbirds up close, without any disturbance while capturing photographs. Additionally, there is a family of Atlantic Titi monkeys residing in the park. Although the female monkey passed away recently, guests can still enjoy their presence. The park also features exhibition rooms and a greenhouse for visitors to explore.
A quite place in the middle of Santa Teresa! The main attraction for us were the hummingbird feeders at the far end of the park. A lot of hummingbirds of about 8 different species. They don't bother if you get close to take pictures. But there is also a family of Atlantic Titi (monkey) around, although the female died a few months ago. You can also visit exhibition rooms, a greenhouse etc. The entrance to the park was free.

A unique experience, even if it's just for the tour. If you have the opportunity and time, go! Mr. Neusso is an extremely charismatic figure, always provides excellent service and made all the sculptures and art, which makes everything even more fantastic. A good and pleasant moment, a charming and unique place. Built over 30 years ago by artist Neusso Ribeiro, it is made of recycled stone and wood, a true symbol of creativity and folk art from Espírito Santo. Every corner of the house is full of colorful mosaics and sculptures made of roots and tree trunks — it seems like every stone there tells a story!
