(Translated by Google) I visited the church on June 6, 2023... very well preserved, it draws the attention of those who pass by for the first time. We managed to park our motorcycle at the church to take a quick look and it was totally worth it! There is a cute grotto in front of the church with the image of Our Lady of the Conception and a statue with the IMAGE OF SAINT JOSEPH OF AVAHY. The plaque reads: Carved in cedar trunk in the 1950s by Spanish sculptor ARMANDO RAMON ALBOR, measuring 2.26m in height, 0.80 cm in width and weighing approximately 140 kg. In 2006, the heads were restored by the sculptor ROGERIO MARQUES ROCHA in SÃO JOÃO DEL REI-MG and, the following year, the body was restored by artist LILIANA MEDINA DA SILVA.

(Translated by Google) Charming. A place to let the kids loose, to lie down and read a book, contemplate the sky, or have a date... Hahaha! A place that breathes culture, whether in events or through the collection on the first floor of the house. And it is also more secure, especially to let the kids run free, as it is surrounded by walls and gates. And there are workshops on the weekends, for now I can confirm the circus workshop, on Saturdays at 9 am or 4 pm. It is always good to have a day in your schedule to go to the space, either early in the morning or in the afternoon. The important thing is to walk around our public spaces, as Campos has many, it is a shame not all of them are as well looked after as this one is! (Original) Encantador.

Municipal Theater Trianon is a beloved venue for various performances and events, drawing in crowds for over two decades. The theater boasts a clean and inviting atmosphere, with a staff dedicated to ensuring an enjoyable experience for all visitors. It holds significant cultural importance in Campos dos Goytacazes, serving as a link to the city's history and promoting local and national artistic expression. Situated in a prime location, it frequently hosts free events and occasional showcases of renowned plays.
Always good place to watch any performances, I've been going there fore years and being able to experience and celebrate it's 21st anniversary was unique. The ambience as always was clean and welcoming, the staff is always treating the public well. This is a place that deserves more attention from everyone and needs help to keep Campos dos Goytacazes history alive and the citizens in touch with culture, specially from their own country

Congratulations to those who contribute to maintaining it, in addition to the peace that emanates from the place! We made a donation in the image of Our Lady of Sorrows (patron saint of my father's hometown in Sergipe) and thanked for the safe trip we had. I was enchanted by this church and we will definitely go back again! It is well worth the visit!! (Original) Visitamos em jun/23. Uma das igrejas MAIS LINDAS QUE EU JÁ VISITEI! Park
Pedra Azul State Park, located in Espirito Santo, Brazil, is a stunning natural reserve known for its dramatic granite rock formations and diverse flora and fauna. The park features several hiking trails that lead to breathtaking vistas of the iconic Pedra Azul mountain and the surrounding forest and farmland. Visitors can enjoy a self-guided two- to three-hour walk with stops at nine natural pools, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts.
I haven’t seen much about Brazil yet, but this definitely was the best place I visited. Lots of little italian restaurants in the middle of “nowhere”, each one with their own unique style of architecture and their own dishes. Many of the restaurants have beautiful views to the Pedra Azul. 100% recommend this place.

One of the best place in this locality. Many people visit this place. The place has good restaurants and hotels. The stone changes its color due to the reflection of the sun. It looks beautiful. I would suggest all of you visit this place with your family and spend some time

Just driving to this area is worth it. We took the 2.5 hour route leaving BR-101 from Fundão, then Santa Teresa, Santa Maria de Jetibá, Garrafão, before reaching Aracê. Beautiful route. To top it off, the even more beautiful Pedra Azul. We drove to the entrance of the park. Quite touristy and busy. Most people stay here for some photos and a visit to the restaurant and shop. Luckily so. Although right of the restaurant it stated that all trails were closed for the day since maximum of 150 persons was sold out, you can still walk about 1.5km up the mountain to the Park Rangers post. Only there the trails actually start that were limited access with permit. That first walk is highly recommended and easy to do for all, although flat shoes with profile is recommended. There is also a small beautiful cherry tree park just below the post that you can visit.

Pedra Azul State Park in Espírito Santo, Brazil, is a magnificent natural reserve that offers visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty and diversity of Brazil's flora and fauna. The park's centerpiece is the stunning Pedra Azul mountain, which towers over the surrounding landscape and provides a breathtaking backdrop for visitors to explore the park's numerous trails. The park is home to a rich variety of plant and animal life, from colorful orchids and bromeliads to playful monkeys and exotic birds. The park's crystal-clear rivers and sparkling waterfalls also provide a refreshing escape from the heat of the day, while the tranquil beauty of the park's forests and meadows invite visitors to relax and reconnect with nature. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a first-time visitor, Pedra Azul State Park is a must-see destination that will leave you in awe of Brazil's natural wonders.

Bacutia Beach in Guarapari is a hidden treasure with its clear waters and fine sand, offering a perfect setting for relaxation and refreshing swims. The beach is popular among young visitors and provides a meeting point to enjoy the sun and sea breeze. Surrounded by native vegetation and rocky shores, the picturesque scenery includes almost waveless green waters resembling a natural pool. Visitors can explore natural pools for tranquility or stroll along the boardwalk lined with bars, restaurants, and kiosks.
What a beautiful scenery! Bacutia Beach is all surrounded by native vegetation and rocky shores that leave the paradise look! The green and almost waveless waters that look more like a natural pool complete the landscape, ensuring that this is one of the most frequented beaches in the city. The surrounding boardwalk provides space for walking, as well as several bars, restaurants and kiosks for a snack or lunch. Bacutia Beach is 8 km from Guarapari center, but without traffic, it is less than a 15-minute drive away.

Undoubtedly this is the hottest beach in the state. It is a small beach and it can get really, but REALLY packed in the summer or during some holidays, and you will see pretty much everything and everyone who wants to see and be seeing. It's a must go if if you want the summer jetset, and also if you want a calm bech (but for this you should not go during the hot season).

If you are looking for a not quite like like a Rio copacobana experience, but in a save family environment, were nobody will ask you to explore the yield of your wallet, that is the place to be. The beach takes 40 min to walk from one end to the other (to make it back, do the math) developments to the left (looking out to the Atlantic) are fancier. Great place to relax, the beach is calm, and nicely cleaned every evening. I enjoyed the new year fireworks followed by what seemed to be an endless party without a visible deminishing number of partying folks until I hit the pillow at about 4:30. Great family beach close to Victoria. If you want to be on a lonely beach, go way south where the natives freeze to death when tipping their toe (Praia do Rosa). I enjoyed my stay at Praia do Morro....

Did not enter the park just dropped of the kids. This is by far the worst public road to drive to a public scene like a waterpark. Do not count the potholes but count the meters without them. It seems you're lost but you are on the right track. Your car suspension is going to suffer though. Entrance fee about 60reais per person.

We went here as a couple without kids and it was still fun. More or less. Why do they charge the watertubes for one person but not the ones for two people? Covid can't be it. Of course our watertubes were gone right after we let them out of our sight. Weird system. The slide with the carpet was great, though!

You have access to Praia da Baleia, more for surfers, the shallow beach, good for swimming and children, being careful with the rocks and taking a (long) walk. You go to Praia da Sereia. There are not many bars and restaurants, the best is Cabana do Rock, the others are just for stopping for a beer or soda. There are almost no street vendors. I have been going there for over 25 years, it used to be better, the sea water has invaded the sand part, after 3 pm there is only water, it wasn't like this (but that's nature). The village has improved, but there is still a long way to go.

(Translated by Google) I went to Pedro Nolasco Station to buy my ticket and had to change the day of my trip because of work! Both times I was very well attended! I bought my ticket quickly, without long lines and the service was excellent! Not to mention that the ticket is cheaper than the bus ticket. The station is beautiful, very organized, has an information board, electronic ticket booths, waiting room, bathrooms, drinking fountains, parking, and access ramp. I'm anxious to take my first train trip! About the train trip: it was very smooth! Before boarding, you need to show your ticket along with a photo ID. Get to the station well in advance because of the line. The trip is very good, the carriages are well air-conditioned, have a television, clean bathrooms with a vacuum system, sink and air-drying hand dryer. The employees are super friendly and helpful. They always come by offering little bags to collect trash, with a broom to clean, offer assistance with carrying luggage, and help the elderly. You can walk around the carriages freely, go to the restaurant to order. The staff will pass by with carts offering coffee, snacks and to make lunch reservations! Here's a tip: bring cash because there are points where the Wi-Fi doesn't work and you can't pay with a card. Lunch is good, the food is light. Here are photos of the menus to get an idea of the price! I suggest bringing snacks, fruit, mineral water and juices to be consumed during the trip! The Wi-Fi on board doesn't work, unfortunately you need to arrive at a station to have network coverage! Passengers board and disembark at the stations between Pedro Nolasco and Belo Horizonte are very quick. There is excellent internal communication (via radio) about delays or unforeseen events. The seats are comfortable and it's a good idea to put your bags on top for better accommodation. Unfortunately, during the trip there were children who screamed a lot, talked loudly and were rude, running around the carriage, which caused stress for passengers who wanted to sleep, talk or even take advantage of the time to read! The experience was well worth it! The trip allowed us to see beautiful places and arrive safely and calmly in Belo Horizonte. The Belo Horizonte station is beautiful, old and a historic monument. O almoço é bom, a comida é leve.

Vitoria is a major eastcoast port for South America and the 3rd largest in Brasil. This museum details the historical significance of that position to the development of the local region. The museum's story also is a guide to Vitoria's connection with other Brasilian states where raw industrial materials are unearthed such as Minas Gerais where iron ore to gold produced millions of tons among other mined commodities. The development of industrial railway systems was key to the success of these enterprises & the Museum's entire 3rd floor is devoted to a massive large scale model of industrial rail operations. The museum grounds provide a panoramic view of Downtown Vitoria across the Bay with a full view of the active working harbor.

Pleasant museum in picturesque surroundings. The main drawback is accessability. Unless you have a car it is hard to find. Get a bus to Vila Velha bus station and hire a taxi to the museum which is a long walk otherwise.

The Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, also Vitória Cathedral, is a Catholic church in Dom Luiz Scortegagna Square, in the City of Vitória, Brazil. The cathedral is constructed on the site of a structure demolished at the beginning of the 20th century. Construction on the cathedral began in 1920 and was completed in the seventies. It was built on the site where, until 1918, there was a church called Church of Our Lady of Victory (Nossa Senhora da Vitória), which was the main church of the city. It was a colonial style church, which began to be built in 1551, when Victoria was still called Vila Nova, in the period of the first grantee of the captaincy of the Holy Spirit, Vasco Fernandes Coutinho. With the creation of the Diocese of Espíritu Santo (1895) and the appointment of the first bishop, Monsignor Juan Bautista Correia Neri, the church received the title of Cathedral.

(Translated by Google) The Nossa Senhora do Carmo Convent looks like it came straight out of a movie set. The architecture, the quiet atmosphere and the view of the surroundings create an atmosphere that combines peace and enchantment. It's the kind of simple place that wins you over precisely because of that — it has a cozy atmosphere, almost as if time had stopped there. Unfortunately, the structure is clearly in need of renovation. It would be important for the space to undergo restoration, not only for aesthetic reasons, but mainly to preserve this rich heritage of Espírito Santo's history and culture. Even so, it's definitely worth a visit, especially for those who like to visit historic and quieter places. --------------------- If you liked this review, give it a thumbs up and mark it as helpful! (Translated by Google) A very beautiful church. The Reitoria Nossa Senhora das Graças – Igreja do Carmo is a historic Catholic church located in downtown Vitória, founded in 1682 by Carmelite priests. Originally part of the Convent of Nossa Senhora do Monte do Carmo, the church has witnessed architectural and social transformations over the centuries. In 1913, its façade was remodeled in the Neo-Gothic style, and in 1984 it was declared a historical heritage site by the State Council of Culture. Currently, the church has been under the administration of the Militiamen of Christ since 2008 and is known for its devotion to Nossa Senhora das Graças, also called Nossa Senhora da Medalha Milagrosa. It offers daily Masses, monthly novenas, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every first Friday of the month. Its architecture, which combines colonial and Neo-Gothic elements, and its spiritual atmosphere make it a place of reflection and connection with the city's religious history. There's a drinking fountain and a bathroom. (Translated by Google) I thought it was a convent, it was so large, but when I got there, I discovered it was a church and school. Inside, it's a very simple church, but the exterior: the facade, the staircase, and above all, the church garden are very well maintained. The gardener deserves congratulations for the natural masterpiece! I really enjoyed visiting the place!
