(Translated by Google) Good wines of superior quality, mainly made from grapes of Italian origin. I did the Premium tasting for R$50, but I wasn't impressed by any of them. Perhaps if I paired it with salami or cheeses from the region, I would have a different experience. (Original) Bons vinhos de padrão superior e principalmente de uvas de origem italiana. I would definitely go again! The place is clean, the animals are taken well cared; you can see that by the size of the places where they are kept and we were able to see the workers feeding, cleaning... I would suggest going later in the afternoon or early morning because of the hot weather.

Really cool zoo. Small but a good variety of animals. Very clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun outing in this part of Santa Catarina. Don't miss the maned wolf exhibit!
Clay M — Google review
A beautiful place, well organized, had a nice diversity of animals and are beautiful and health animals.
Gabriel M — Google review
We visited here in July 2023, it was fantastic. The animals looked happy and healthy. You get a very intimate experience and view of them all. I got to see a few animals from South America and Brazil that I hadn't seen before, or knew existed. There are lots of lovely trees around the zoo itself, the staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. A perfect zoo experience! I was also offered a teacher's discount (I am a school teacher in New Zealand), if I provided proof/ID, so educators - be sure to bring your ID with you!
Irene P — Google review

(Translated by Google) We took a tour, which included an explanation of the history of the place and the city, and two institutional videos. This surprised me, because I thought we would only see the inside of the theater and be able to take some photos. The story is captivating, and they tell the story of the siege of Lapa from the point of view of the local people. It is well worth it for those who enjoy cultural immersion. The theater itself is small, but very charming. And they say that the emperor himself visited the place.

One of the great landmarks in its history was the visit of Emperor Dom Pedro II, who watched a play there. His box, preserved to this day, is one of the highlights of the visit. The theater's well-preserved structure harks back to the past and is enchanting for its wealth of detail. The guided tour is very well explained, providing a true immersion into the culture and tradition of this unique space. Due to the fighting, part of the theater's structure was damaged, meaning the building does not fully resemble its original appearance, although it retains much of its period heritage and is one of the oldest museums in the state. The entrance fee currently costs R$3.00, with a half-price policy, which also gives you access to the city's Weapons Museum and Historical Museum. The tour is not guided, but you can access all areas of the theater freely, including the box that D. Pedro II occupied during his visit to Lapa in 1880, and the stage. The only thing I missed was more information about the place, but it's still worth a visit!

You must absolutely, without any hesitation or second thoughts, sample the costella dish at Vinícola Araucária winery. Having experienced my fair share of costella in various journeys across Brazil, I can confidently say that this hidden vineyard in the lush green hills of Parana takes first place. The costella is slow-cooked to perfection, adorned with a crispy and savory crust while remaining tender and moist on the inside - an unforgettable delight.
You have to absolutely without any hesitation or second thoughts try the costella dish. I have had my fair share of costella in my journeys throughout Brazil, and believe it or not, this vineyard hidden in the rolling green hills of parana takes the first place. Pefectly slow cooked, adorned with a crunchy and salty crust with a butter soft and moist inside makes this dish difficult to forget. Accompanied with a mandioca and a fluffy faroffa. The food was enjoyed with a home grown Anugustifolia Cabernet Sauvignon, which they grow right outside the restaurant. I Will definitely be back to try the costella, just to make sure it is as good as I remember... here are some pics to enjoy. Enjoy

We got there by chance, as it is poorly signposted and there is no internet access in the area, which means the GPS leaves you stranded. Since we didn't have a reservation, we thought we wouldn't be able to have lunch, but we were very well received, the food was good but nothing exceptional. We didn't have time to take the guided tour, but we did walk around the property. You can stay at the hotel, walk around the place without eating, or enjoy lunch. There are also trails and a waterfall. It's worth a visit and we'll be back for the tour and tasting. (Translated by Google) It was a wonderful experience. The guided tour was very informative. I had several questions answered. Learning about the history of the place and tasting the wines and sparkling wines was incredible. We also stayed at the chalet, which is beautiful, but there was a problem with a sewage smell in the bathroom. When we turned on the bathtub, residue from the pipes came out, leaving the tub yellow. Another issue was that we had to call reception at night, but we didn't get an answer. We called five times because they had run out of toilet paper and the towels were very wet, and we wanted them replaced. We bought a Poty sparkling wine and were told we could ask for a bucket of ice to drink in the room at night, but we didn't get an answer. But the place is worth visiting for its history, beauty, and dedication to Paraná's culture.

During a trip to Curitiba, we decided to explore the region and visit Vinícola Araucária, located in the charming Colônia Murici, in São José dos Pinhais. It was one of the best decisions of the trip! The experience begins right on the way, with beautiful and peaceful scenery. Upon arrival, we were greeted with great warmth and organization. We opted for the guided tour, and it was a true immersion into the world of wine—from the vineyards to a thorough explanation of the production process. The structure is modern, well-maintained, and full of details that enhance local wine tourism. The tasting was impeccable: high-quality wines and sparkling wines, with a special mention for the Poty labels, which pay homage to the artist Poty Lazarotto. A beautiful celebration of Paraná culture. Afterward, we had lunch at Restaurante Gralha Azul, inside the winery. A sensational gastronomic experience! Well-prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and an impressive presentation. All this with views of nature and a very welcoming country atmosphere. The rustic and elegant decor completes the atmosphere, and it feels like home. I also thought it was really cool that the winery supports cultural and artistic initiatives—something that further enriches the visit. If you're in Curitiba or the surrounding area, I highly recommend taking the time to visit Vinícola Araucária. It's a complete experience: nature, culture, good food, good wine, and wonderful memories. We'll definitely be back! 🍷🌿 (Original) Uma joia escondida no coração do Paraná! 🍷🌿

When you arrive, you'll notice it's a really pleasant place. But what caught my attention the most was the service. I was greeted by one of the owners, Mr. Adelar, and you can clearly see that he's someone who loves what he does. He and Beatriz, during the guided tour, were able to show us the history of the winery and how a good wine is made. Speaking of the restaurant, the service continued to be excellent and the food top-notch. I recommend that you visit and leave with your luggage full of memories, knowledge, and bottles of wine. I intend to return there during harvest time to see the laden vines up close. I had barreado here for the first time ever - as a non-Brazilian - and it was so delicious! Tasty and filling and served with a variety of side dishes and even fried fish. A waiter demonstrated how to mix the stew on your plate. The staff were super friendly. The women's restroom was extremely clean and had a spacious changing area for babies. There were also signs in the bathroom advising women that they could talk to staff (using a code phrase) if they felt unsafe with their dinner companion. What a lovely effort to make women feel safer! I had a great time during my stay and will definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

Museu Oscar Niemeyer, also known as the "Eyes Museum," is a futuristic architectural marvel designed by renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Ribeiro de Almeida Niemeyer Soares Filho. Opened in 2002, it is the largest museum in Latin America and features 12 rooms showcasing contemporary art, design, and architecture. The building itself resembles a giant eye and is perched on a massive yellow pillar, creating an awe-inspiring sight for visitors.
Amazing museum dedicated to one of the most famous architects you will ever come across in Brazil. The museum is very well done and has sufficient reading material as well as displays. Some of the art is interactive and some of it is historical artifacts. There is a lot of modern art and some art from people from Curitiba. The parts of the museum that showcase Niemeyer’s accomplishments are particularly cool, especially if you’ve traveled around and seen some of his works.

Since its inauguration in 1996, visitors have been captivated by its whimsical architecture and engaging attractions.
A beautiful woodland area with a cobblestone footpath. Lots of beautiful plants and a Hansel and Gretel house for the children There is also some places with stunning views of Curitiba. Wonderful place to visit, enjoy good music with coffee at Opera Art Cafeteria and to visit on concerts. The lake has been cleaned and although there is no visible fish in the pond, the oxygenated water makes it cleaner than it used to be 3 years ago. The Covid protocol is sustained and efficient.

Small to visit. Everything remains closed except the bridge if there's no concert going on. All you can see is in the pictures. I do recommend the parks of Curtiba instead of this place if you don't have much time to visit the city.

Very beautiful park area complete with fountains, water features, small waterfall, and a terrace that offers breathtaking views of neighbouring hills. Well maintained flower display. Open walking spaces are suitable for exercising, picnics, and photography. Plenty of parking spaces.

A must visit when in curitiba. Amazing views from the top of the park with water fountains, flowers, and a small ice cream shop. Amazing greenery with plenty of places to sit and relax on any day. A decent restaurant down at the bottom portion of the park

It's wonderful to see how an old quarry has been transformed into this magical park. It's a landmark and example for other countries to follow the same. A serene place and very calm. A good place to visit.
