A great zoo! It has a spacious area to walk through and many animals from Brazil, with a few from other countries. The monkeys are fun to watch. That said, few of the enclosures were empty...
Gavin T — Google review
Nice zoo, there are a lot of different animals and many animals from brazil. The lion and tiger enclosures were not accessible when we visited. They have many birds ranging from exotic ducks to several types of aras. They also have a hippo, several types of crocodiles, snakes, foxes and wild dogs. There are a couple of enclosures currently empty.
F. N — Google review
I visited this place just to see capibaras. Unfortunately for me, I only saw one. I think it was a bad luck. Besides capibaras, the park takes care of some monkeys, aras, but also some animals that I as European don't know for my continent. So visiting the place was interesting for me. The park is huge and you can spend quite some time with roaming around. To see everything with slow pace, I would say that 2 hours are more than enough. But you can manage to see what you are interested in in about 1 hour, as I did. Entrance tickets to this place are surprisingly cheap, so I would encourage you to visit park and support it this way.

Very good zoo to spend a free day at. Admission was free and it had quite a large selection of animals to see. Decent playground the food vendors were well priced. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and so did the kids.
Steven H — Google review
The park is currently undergoing renovation and only half of the park is available now, but it is still a great place to walk, jog or just take a walk with the family.
Erik S — Google review
A good selection of animals that the whole family will enjoy. Make sure to watch the monkeys for a while! Unfortunately there are a few empty enclosures these days..

Art gallery
Art museum
The Pinacoteca de São Paulo stands as a testament to Brazil's rich artistic heritage, making it one of the country's oldest and most significant art museums. Nestled in a stunning neoclassical structure originally designed for the School of Arts and Crafts, this museum showcases an impressive collection that ranges from 19th-century Brazilian paintings and sculptures to contemporary works. Its history is intertwined with various historical events, including conflicts in the early 20th century, which adds depth to its narrative.
Beautiful art museum! Museum has 3 levels, there is also a balcony on the front and back of the building on the 3rd level that has a nice view of the street and in the back a nice view of the park. I would make sure that if you are outside in the street don’t stay for long or take your phone out at all. There are many many homeless people in the area that steal from people regularly.
Brandon H — Google review
Definitely worth paying R30 for this museum as it has so many exhibitions and they were all amazing! The exhibitions were also in English and made it so much easier for us to enjoy! The ticket also includes the contemporary art in another building. We ended up spending over 2 hours here but could’ve easily spend half a day here. Highly recommend this to everyone!
James P — Google review
I enjoyed this art museum. It has a nice mix of old art and contemporary art. The only artist I actually knew about before visiting is a Rodin statue. But it was fun to learn more about Brazilian artists. I was hoping to visit some other art museums but all the other museums were closed on Monday...But the Pinacoteca was open! They get an extra star just for being open on the day I was in town. The gardens around the museum are beautiful and peaceful. But the restaurant had a long line so I did not get to eat there.
Daniel K — Google review
I loved this gallery. The exhibits are diverse, well curated, and educational for those new to Brazilian artists. There’s a cafe and shop worthy of stops, too. Highly recommend!
Masen D — Google review
Amaizing! The place is huge, recomend to spend several hours admiring all the art pieces. Very close to metro station, wakable distance
Vanessa M — Google review
My favourite art museum in Sao Paulo! It's huge as well, reserve at least 2 hours to visit. The expositions change constantly, so it's always worth it to visit.
Ana — Google review
This is a fascinating house with many rooms of art by different artists. The ladscaping breathtaking and the day i was there live music and artistic acts. Right across the street from the famous Luz station
Paul C — Google review
One of the most beautiful museums I've been to. They have a great selection of pieces, with differing mediums, the space is clean and comfortable. The main entry goes thru a sunroom with super high glass ceilings, currently showing pieces done with wood, so you can smell the sap being warned by the sun. The staff was friendly and kind, very helpful and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. The pieces being showcased are very well selected, I think. And the infrastructure is beautiful.

The Mercado Municipal Paulistano, also known as Mercadao, is a historic market located in the old city center of Centro. Built in the 1930s, this magnificent market hall features skylights and stained-glass windows and is bustling with vendors offering rare fruits, vegetables, dairy produce, meat, fish, and more.
Interesting experience and many options to try and choose from. Just know that when they offer you samples, you will end up buying stuff and they don’t give you the price until they already wrapped and bagged things. You’ll end up paying 60 USD for 4 piece of fruit, which you can find in typical stores for 10 dollars.
Parihan R — Google review
This is a well-organized and clean market that offers a wide range of goods—from preserved meats, fresh fish, and spices to nuts and other local products. While it seems to have become more of a tourist attraction than a place locals frequent for daily shopping, it’s still worth a visit. The second floor has sit-down restaurants, making it a good spot to take a break and enjoy a proper meal. Prices are reasonable overall. One of the highlights here is the famous mortadella sandwich—a must-try if you’re visiting for the first time. Overall, a nice place to explore local flavors and pick up a few souvenirs or snacks. Just expect a more tourist-oriented vibe.
Andrew G — Google review
Landed in São Paulo after a red eye so we needed to stay awake so we could sleep tonight…dropped off bags, showered, and headed to the market, one of my absolute favorite places in SP! Our driver took great care of us as he guided us to a friend working a fruit stall where we ate our fill in samples of some of the best tasting fruit you’ll ever try…Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Yellow Avocado, Jack Fruit, Strawberries wrapped in dates, zero filter on that 🍊orange slice it was amazing! Got some dehydrated provolone discs and cubes of Parmesan…could spend hours in this market…a must stop when you come up São Paulo 🙌🏽
Eugene J — Google review
An incredible place to discover local and international exotic fruits and vegetables, meat vendors, pubs, bars, restaurants and much much more. A lively and bustling vibe. The only precaution, rather don't walk to this destination. Take a bus, taxi or Uber which takes you directly to this market.
Ele V — Google review
We came here close to the closing time but we still manage to grant our sandwich. The main reason we came to this market was to try this sandwich and it did not disappoint. The market itself has a lot of stalls, with nuts, fish, fruit, cheese and charcuterie and places to sit down and eat and drink. It's a nice stop if you are in the area.
Ana C — Google review
Not quite authentic. Lots of replication of stalls and restaurants. But it was a great mix of fruit, meats, seafood, wine bars, and restaurants. It's very clean and has a great energy. Maybe avoid the folks offering free samples but do try the cod pastel and the mortadela sandwiches. It just sit down for a glass of wine.
Gabriel B — Google review
Amazing place to shop for meat, cheese, olives, peanuts, sweets, fruit and also includes large restaurants that you can get the Mortadella Sandwich. Boca’s was the best place for Pastels (they actually fill them full and are overflowing with meat. The Maine sandwich shop (called Maine) was the best for Mortadellas. Be aware that the sales in this market are very aggressive and pushy. They will practically cut fruit and put it in your mouth as samples. The restaurants will practically hold your hand to seat you so that you order food. Didn’t bother me and all you need to do is stand your ground. One American to another 🇺🇸 😉
Sammy S — Google review
Be careful! The place is beautiful and historic, but the fruit vendors take advantage of tourists. I was asking about the price of the fruit, they gave me several to try, and then they charged me a lot of money for just a few pieces. Since they were "local" fruits, I thought the price would be a bit more expensive, but it turned out they were ripping people off. DON'T TRUST THEM. It was a horrible experience to not feel safe. I wasn't bargaining or denying to pay the correct price and yet they took advantage. My worst experience in SP.

Paulista: The Heartbeat of São Paulo The most famous avenue in São Paulo vibrant, lively, and full of energy all day long. It’s lined with offices, cafés, museums, and street performers. Landmarks like MASP, Japan House, and Casa das Rosas are must-sees. On Sundays, the avenue closes to traffic and turns into a street festival of music, dance, and art. Even on weekdays, it never loses its rhythm. Between the tall buildings, you’ll also notice people living in tents a quiet reminder of the city’s social contrasts. Take a day to walk, listen, and observe. To understand São Paulo, start with Paulista. 🌿#PaulistaAvenue #SãoPaulo #TravelBrazil

Not tourist friendly. Staff can’t speak any word English. On the site there is a price at 40, but on arrival they double it. When we wanted to order online the website did not work. This place is COOL. And it has more fun than you can handle in one day. To go there and think you'll want to go home because you are so tired, think again, that's when you get your second wind.
Vernon E — Google review
We went to stay two nights and left after lunch on the first day. The place looks nothing like the photos on the website. It was dirty, blankets from last century, food served was dry and very little variety. The way it was served was with a lack of interest as was the general feeling of all the park. A real pity for our 10 year olds birthday surprise
Christopher M — Google review
The food seemed reasonable to me. Espatinhos, mini pizzas, and pastéis were all R$7 and were as good quality as you would find in any Festa Junina. The pastel was even big. The baru was particularly good. The park was very cute. It was obvious they paid attention to the small details. The rides were a lot of fun, especially the Nitro-x and the other ride right next to it (that one was maybe even better!) We spent about 7 hours there and didn't even do everything. It could be worth it to stay the night at the Posada and spend the whole weekend there.

It offers a serene escape from the bustling city, with beautiful landscaping and architecture designed by Oscar Niemeyer. The park features museums, a planetarium, auditoriums, and recreational areas with bike paths and courts. Despite being highly urbanized, it provides an opportunity to experience Brazilian nature with diverse native fauna and flora.
I truly had a memorable day here, filled with joy and discovery. The blend of sport, leisure, and art offered a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me feel nice. Don't miss the Biennale; it's a cool experience. Take a leisurely jog among the locals and relax by sipping fresh coconut milk straight from its shell—simple moments that can bring so much joy.

Largest park in the city, it has nice roads for running and walking along with bicycle lines. It has a lake with River with plenty of grass areas to just sit and relax. We enjoyed it in a sunny day on Sunday and lots of people go to exercise and work out. Lots of local people just enjoying with their families Park has plenty of small stores to get snacks, water and natural coconut water which is great, however did not see a larger restaurant to get meals, just mobile spots for quick grab and go. There are public bathroom but can get crowded Green areas and well maintained although they could be better, trees are mostly tropical. There is a museum, planetary and Japanese site but did not go to those.

This park is right in the center of the city—almost like São Paulo’s own version of New York’s Central Park. It’s a very large green area with beautiful walking paths, lakes, cafés, and several museums. There are always many people around enjoying the space: jogging, biking, relaxing, or having picnics. We loved the atmosphere and how lively yet peaceful it felt. A perfect spot to spend time outdoors in the heart of the city.

It’s an absolute pleasure to walk in this park but keep in mind it’s huge. Plenty of cafes and shops to buy a fresh coconut or any other drinks, lots of bench’s to sit and relax or just watch people performing different instruments in the nature. I saw a lot of families spending time here with kids or having a meal. Definetly worth walking around

I have to say this is one of the best parks I've ever been to. From coconut water stands, to acai spots, and great running tracks. A great place for grounding in a concrete jungle.
Khalid A — Google review
Beautiful park with plenty to do. There are vendors selling coconuts everywhere, so it’s the perfect drink to enjoy while taking in the nature. Afro-Brazil Museum and Japan Pavilion are worth visiting. I felt perfectly safe walking around the park alone during the daytime.

It's a lovely and very big park. It's a must if you're visiting Sao Paulo, where you can jogging have a walk a picnic or visiting one of the lovely museums in the park. There's a lot to do here. It's a green gem in a very busy and industrial city.

Fo Guang Shan Temple Zu Lai

Fo Guang Shan Temple Zu Lai is situated in Cotia, just 40 km from Sao Paulo. The temple, consecrated in 1992, spans around 150,000 square meters and follows the teachings of Fo Guang Shan (Humanistic Buddhism). Visitors are impressed by the friendly people who gladly explain the beautiful and well-maintained grounds. The serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings make it a peaceful place to explore.
Amazing place an architecture so cool Free park. There's a coffee store and restaurant with vegan food

I visited this place to get acquainted with the culture of Buddhism. It was a wonderful experience, people are friendly and will gladly show and explain everything, the building and the territory are very beautiful and well maintained. Very quiet, calm and spiritually and mentally ... Free parking, and next to a huge beautiful green park with a pond in which there are many turtles. Bought some Chinese souvenirs and incense from a local shop.

I was able to visit the temple last Sunday with friends, and I must say that it was such a stellar place! It is not hard to navigate, everything can be found rather easily. The lake they have there is lovely, having fish and turtles that were easy to see. We saw some colourful birds, and the bridge over the lake was a cool feature. There are vivid, colourful landscapes to be seen. The statues remind you that you are not in an ordinary place. The temple itself and its surroundings are nothing like the architecture we see in this country, so it draws your eyes to the roofs, walls, doors, finishings and more. There were people ready to provide useful information. There was some sort of celebration going on, and it was interesting to see. This is definitely a great place to visit even if you are not a religious individual, as the temple is absolutely stunning!

Museu do Café

History Museums
Specialty Museums
Museu do Café, located in the historic Coffee Exchange building in Downtown Santos, offers a captivating journey through the history of Brazilian coffee. The museum showcases the significance of coffee to Brazil's economy and provides insights into the quality of coffee beans produced in the country. Visitors can explore exhibits on the history of coffee trading and even participate in barista classes. The grandiose architecture adds to the allure of this museum, making it a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
A fun stop for any java enthusiast — you can learn how the coffee trade shaped Brazil’s history and then enjoy the caffeinated flow of good joe in the café. The interior is well preserved, and the main bidding hall is particularly interesting, both for its beautiful design and its exhibitions chronicling the decades of auctions held at the exchange.
Path F — Google review
The Museo del Café is more than just a stop for a caffeine fix—it’s an experience that wraps history, aroma, and flavor into one visit. You step inside and the scent of freshly roasted beans hits you first, warm and inviting. Then you notice the space itself—walls lined with vintage grinders, old roasting drums, and photographs that tell the story of coffee from its roots to your cup. The museum side walks you through every stage: planting, harvesting, drying, roasting, brewing. You get to see the tools and traditions behind the process, not just the polished final product. It’s the kind of place that makes you appreciate your morning cup in a whole new way. And then there’s the café—cozy tables, natural light, and staff who clearly care about the craft. The coffee is exceptional: rich, full-bodied, with layers of flavor that unfold as it cools. If you’re hungry, their breakfast and pastry options are worth it too—simple, fresh, and made to complement the coffee rather than overshadow it. What really stands out is how relaxed the whole experience feels. You can wander through the exhibits at your own pace, sit for a cup, or just watch the baristas work. It’s the kind of place where you could spend an hour and feel like you’ve both learned something and taken a little break from the rush outside.

I enjoyed the stories on history of coffee and coffee industry in Brazil. The building itself was once in 19th century the coffee exchange office of Santos and still today has amazing good vibe. Some of the art presentations are very interesting - like the coffee mugs flowing out of a cupboard that could be relate to coffee bean being poured out of a sack.
Tt_ H — Google review
Free on Saturday, definitely not worth paying for this in my opinion. The upper floor is hidden away but has maps and history to see, the entire museum you could see in 30 minutes if you dont engage in coffee tasting.
Levi W — Google review
The museum tells the history of coffee in São Paulo state and Brazil, the exhibit is great, it has everything in English, and the building is beautiful. The museum also has a very nice coffee shop serving good coffee and cakes.
Barbara S — Google review
A journey through time! The building inside is beautiful and the architecture is wonderful. Very interesting place, for those who love coffee! It has a cafeteria that serves a brewed coffee that is delicious! ❤ I went in Dec / 20 and on the outside it is covered in renovation, not being able to take photos. In the surroundings there are beautiful buildings that are worth the scenery. The museum itself is fine. The monument is beautiful and, although it is not as interesting a visit in the city as the Aquarium or the Sacred Art Museum, it is worth it. The problem is, ironically, as another comment pointed out, in the cafe. I have the costume of drinking coffees of various types and expected much more from the place. Do not go to the cafeteria because you calculate expensive for ordinary coffees prepared in an ordinary way. If you ask for the museum's iced coffee with milk - which now costs R $ 18.00 and is one of the cheapest items in the establishment - you will leave with the impression that your homemade coffee with a little milk and ice would have came out tastier. Again, go to the museum, don't go to the cafeteria.
Anderson P — Google review
A nice building which is located near Pele Museum. There is a small admission fee. There are lockers where you need to put your bag in and it has a small cafe on the ground floor. Very detailed history on Brazilian coffee, educational with lots of information
Grace L — Google review
Great museum to learn about the farming and processing of coffee beans and extensive history related to coffee. The building is beautiful and there’s also information about the architecture and its origins. All of the information on the walls/signs is displayed in Portuguese but there’s large cards with all the same information in Spanish/English available too. Very informative! Entry was 10 reais.

Parque Zoológico Municipal "Quinzinho de Barros" is a large and popular zoo located in Sorocaba, Brazil. Spanning 15 hectares, it is the second largest zoo in the country in terms of species. The zoo features various animal exhibits, a museum for educational purposes, and a picturesque lake and forest. Visitors can observe rare birds, monkeys, snakes, and other animals while enjoying the tranquil surroundings.
It’s a really worth place to visit. As of April, 2023, entrance fee is 8 BRL per adult, 4 BRL per kid. It’s not so big land, they don’t have any kind of animals such as São Paulo zoo, but it’s not crowded, we can see rare birds, monkeys, snakes and others. Less than 2 hours is enough to see all. We enjoyed our holiday there.

One of its main highlights is the Amazon Basin exhibit featuring unique fish native to the Amazon River. This is a nice simple place to visit, especially on a rainy day when the beach isn't so nice. It's a small aquarium with a nice collection of fish and similar creatures. The one depressing tank was with the sea turtle. It was just a tank and water, no earth features or other stuff. I'm hoping that it is a work in progress.

cheapest aquarium admission I ever had, relatively. it's good to spend the day. the penguins still clinically depressed. try as they may, AC is no substitution for arctic weather. also make sure to get combo ticket and visit the zoologia garden on other side of town. walk or take a Uber there

Caverna da Tapagem

National park
Cave network with vast lit halls viewed by walkways & bridges located in a conservation park.
Huge and very impressive cave, with an illuminated 600m pathway inside. It is well signposted (as Caverna do Diabo) from the highway, including tens of kilometres before the turnoff, well before you arrive. Access is then along a 4km stretch of asphalted road uphill to the large visitor centre where there is plenty of parking and a restaurant. The guides (aka monitors} are all from the local community and operate independently as a co-operative association.

Important: to access the caves, you need hire an official guide from this region to go together to you and/or your group

It is a beautiful place. However, one has to have a guide, they tend to serve you primitive attractions (like listening to music in cave) and enforce a number of regulations that neither increase safety nor pleasure (like crossing the river wearing shoes and walking later in wet shoes). Really unpleasent experience. I recommend finding another park to explore Mata Arlantica.
Piotr W — Google review
The caves here are phenomenal and merit more foreign visitors. Some of the caves are huge, others smaller. One is actually a tunnel exiting elsewhere from where there is a lovely 2km trek back. You need to hire an accredited guide beforehand to go with you, or else you will be turned away (as I saw with another car when we arrived). And believe me - you need a guide for your own safety as the caves extend hundreds of meters inside and you'd be in complete darkness if it were not for the guide's knowledge and our helmet torches (supplied by the guide tour agency). My guide was great, Luis from Monotours, with whom I spoke Portuguese. I also used my mobile/cell phone flashlight to better illuminate the stones we often stepped or scrambled over.

Amusement park
Beto Carrero World is the largest theme park in Latin America, located in Penha. It offers a mix of thrilling entertainment with themed thrill rides, live cabaret shows, and a zoo. The park is known for its variety of attractions suitable for the whole family. Additionally, Penha boasts beautiful beaches and delicious seafood cuisine, making it an ideal destination for a fun-filled vacation.
A great place for a vacation. Beto Carrero stands out to me because this is one of the first amusement parks that I visited outside my home country. The park has a wide variety of food to choose from though I won't recommend having them if you are in there for rides which gets crazy. I did the following rides, Spin: Perhaps one of the easiest rides. I enjoyed it and maybe you would too. Roller Coaster: This one was crazy. I could barely keep my eyes open throughout the ride though my girlfriend enjoyed the ride. She wants to go for it again tomorrow. Madagascar circus: This was brilliant. I loved it, my girlfriend loved it, the kids loved it and everyone loved it. Though I didn't understand Portuguese, I still could make out what was going on in the circus. River adventure: This made me the happiest because I was relaxed throughout the ride and thankfully it didn't try to kill me. Overall, I am very content with the adventure park. It is beautifully decorated with colours and has those majestic rides that give you an instant adrenaline rush. I am planning to go back tomorrow again to secure the rides I missed on Day 1. I will post another review shortly.

As a theme park junkie, BCW provides a magical atmosphere for adrenaline seekers and family outings! The Fire Whip is a best in class inverted coaster and the Madagascar river boat is a never ending water maze of fun. You’ll enjoy the Beto Carrero theme through the entire park - plus it’s clean, and the ride lines weren’t too long (we visited on a Monday). The best part is that the staff were friendly and all aspects were firing on all cylinders - all rides and food open! Whip it good!

It is really nice place to visit with your kids and let your inner child go crazy with them. Somedays It is full occupied with the school kids trips. The staff need to be on top of crowd management during these busy times with school trips. Better rent stroller ( for kids) or scooter for old people or for yourself in case can't walk enough ( it's huge place to walk around for the shows and attractions). Advice you can rent items outside instead of inside the parque as the prices are way higher
Namaste F — Google review
Amazing park with tons to do for every age and taste! The only catch is: I recommend buying ONLINE AHEAD of time, as the day they wanted to charge us 3x the price but after letting them know we’d not pay that, the manager checked and they were able to give us a discount but it still cost twice as much. Overall great day between shows and rides, ending with fireworks and every one back. Would go back and get tickets/food choices prior to arriving. Ps. Parking is paid extra and they do allow you to enter with backpacks and water ;)
Thuany O — Google review
If I could go back in time, I’d never step foot in this park again. We’re not guests there we’re walking wallets. You guys keep milking us like cows, trying to squeeze every last penny out of us, and we would pay if we were happy , but we were on 100% disappointment . In these photos, you can see a screenshot showing the duration of one of the rides. We waited 45 minutes “Fast Pass” To go for a 40 seconds ride , and you call this “entertainment.” ?? The ride ended before I could even blink, and before you catch your breath, the employee is already rushing you out so the next 600 guests can be pushed in. Absolute garbage. In one of the videos, you can actually see people fighting, angry, shouting, completely frustrated. And that’s where the whole idea of an amusement park disappears. People shouldn’t be angry in a place meant for joy. The woman in that video didn’t even have what it called “Fast Pass” she’d been waiting for three hours. To get a ride for her kids, Meanwhile, your teenage employees move slowly, and couldn’t care less about the people. My advice to the management: Set a limit for yourselves. All this chaos happens because you accept as many guests as you can possibly fit , just to squeeze out a few more millions in the profit margin . Have some decency and put a cap, especially during high season, so people can actually enjoy and leave happy. And please, stop hiring only teenagers. Hire mature, trained adults who can actually handle problems when they arise. My advice to visitors: Avoid this place during high season. If you must go, try March or April , it might be slightly better. Be warned: everything inside is overpriced. Food, drinks, snacks , everything. Popcorn costs +R$30, a basic meal is R$50+, and there are endless extra fees. Don’t think buying the ticket is all you’ll spend , for two adults, expect at least R$300 for entry, another R$200 for the “Fast Pass,” plus 200 drinks and water. Perfect place to enjoy with kids! Beto Carrero park has a lot of attractions (radical, cultural and relaxing) for all ages. I recommend at least 2 days to enjoy most of the attractions If you are travelling with kids. They have partnership with DreamWorks Studios, which allow BCW deliver theme areas and shows, such as Madagascar, Shrek and Trolls.

I don't need to tell you this beach is amazing. But I do recommend visiting between sept- nov and from about april to Jun. The crowds in the summer are miserable. You will find some decent warm days in the winter to enjoy the beach as well. Wonderful restaurants and shops around too.

Great clean beach with lovely waves and water is just right for swimming. There's lots of cafes and restaurants and bars along the beach with a great atmosphere!
Nick D — Google review
The Americas have a completely wrong idea as to what makes a city livable. This is a place that boasts a sandy beach but waves that make swimming unfeasible. Proof of that is that 90% of the beachgoers are lying or sitting on the beach, but very few venture to go inside the sea and even fewer bother to swim. Add to that the mostly cloudy skies and the ever-present rain, and you've got the picture. Furthermore, there are no cafés to speak of as coffee culture in these parts of the world is practically nonexistent, and the restaurants are nothing to brag about. Finally ,the absence of any other form of entertainment makes this place an absolute tedium. Complete waste of my money. Give me the Mediterranean any time!

All the beaches here on this island are gorgeous and this one is no exception. White sand clear blue water and a background of greenery and hills. You can't beat it. It's a beach break and although the waves were too small it would probably leave you very good here for surfing their body surfing.

This is a fantastic beach amazing for playing volleyball. Get to know other people find amazing friends just relax on the beach. Enjoy the nature. The views the waves are friendly. A lot of people do windsurfing which is fantastic. There are rocky areas on the left side. Be careful about them if you go there make sure that you step on stable and Certain places not to fall between the rocks. There will be dangerous people who sell stuff by the beach are friendly and welcoming, which was amazing to there are some showers right outside the beach, which were also clean and amazing and I really liked them. I went there with a friend of mine and I took amazing pictures there and I really love the beach and the waves there I would always go back.

It’s ok. Actually a very busy beach so if you’re into that then it might be the right place for you. What’s great is the dunes sitting in the background. If you climb up you’ll get a very picturesque view of the beach! Also the rocks on the left side of the beach is a cool spot to check out !

Campeche Island, located off the coast of Florianópolis, is a treasure trove of ancient archaeological sites and natural beauty. The island is known for its pristine sands, calm waters, and hidden coves that offer stunning views of cliffs and rock formations. Visitors can join organized boat tours departing from Armacao Beach to explore the island's clear waters and preserved natural park.
If you are in Floripa a visit to this Island is a must. It is absolutely stunning. You can access it from a few places but we chose to get a boat from Campeche Beach (10 minutes). Tip - get their early as people queue from 8am because they only allow limited numbers on the Island.

A very beautiful beach on the island but it took an hour boat ride to get there. Make sure to choose a good sunny day to go there.
Rula H — Google review
Magical place. If you go there with your family members, make sure not to litter the place. Don’t take your smoking equipment, there and smoke there. Respect the nature.
Mansour M — Google review
It is a must-visited Campeche Island. The best advice I can give is to check the weather before you go, choose an agency to buy it a few days before you plan going because it is a really popular place, if you arrive there without your ticket probably you will face a big queue to try to take the boat! If you have problems with the boat, bring your medicine because it will take 40 min by boat to get there! The water is beautiful, paradise!

A beautiful island with calm but freezing water. If you go on the weekend, there are many boats obstructing the view of the ocean. Nonetheless, the island feels calm and relaxed. We (foreigners) were told it costs 300 reais per person round trip to the island. When we said we don't have that much cash, they lowered it to 200 reais per person (Feb 2022). Still expensive based on other comments here, but I guess that's the price you pay for not being brazilian.
