The place is nice but has some design flaws. I really like the wave pool, it has around the right depth and having waves for a full 30 minutes every hour is something I did not see in a park before, so that is great. The downside is that the wave pool is not that clean, multiple floating tooth picks and other trash (a pity). The other pools are more clean, but not all pools are transparent. The warmed pool is nice but I find that the pool is very shallow, less than a meter. It is nice that they play music around here and the pool is big enough that you can choose how hard you want the music (by changing the distance). The volcano has just too shallow pools, the pool of just 20 cm deep is a bit useless. The small stream also is too shallow, with 40 cm you cannot really float in the small stream but rather need to almost walk it. The water slides are very nice, but I think they should do something about small kids that move slow on the water slides because they are too light. Beautiful Place to visit; being by nature is unbelievably, and the view is astonishing, but it is better to visit when it's not raining. Don't forget the visit closes at 17:00.

Sad to see the privatization of places that belonged to the city and its citizens. Most attractions at Poços de Caldas are now private and closed at this time. Yes, you heard me... the attractions are closed except for the christ. Once they open again all attractions will be charged... locations that were free for more than 100 years will now be charged. Needless to say, the Fonte dos Amores was closed. What saved the day were the monkeys who were coming to the gate to greet us. However, because the attraction has been closed, the monkeys have been hungry and tourists have been feeding them all types of foods even M&Ms.. so sad.

This is a very nice city trail by which I mean, your only one block outside a residential neighborhood and into the mata. Once on the trail you're immediately in dense foliage and on a steep, stairs-like climb for the next 500m. The last 100m or so is on open mountain exposed to sun and a view of your target, Christo. My observations, the trail could be more meandering through the jungle to get to the top rather than straight up. And of course, Brazilian style, there's a road for cars to drive to the top so you arrive into a parking lot, cars and the usual trash and noise. Check out the paragliding view on the backside!

The place has beautiful waterfalls and food stands are near it if you wanna catch a snack. Also, be careful. There are a lot of rocks you may slip on.

One of my favorite places on this city, a real Japanese park inside downtown... Beautiful trees, flours, typical fish and water mirrors...its not only 5 starts because the old Japanese house its not more there...

Absolutely gorgeous, monkeys grabbing banana and peanut from your hand. My two toddlers loved it.
