Delicious torta asadas can be bought for 30 pesos in every corner of the square. There are often live music and locals dancing or drinking beer nearby, fun to watch!

Typical central square. There is good view to color mountains
Андрей Д — Google review
Dozens of stalls and shops all selling the same things. How do they make a living? However it's lively and very colourful with all the wonderfully coloured scarves and towels. The main reason to visit is to see the Cerro de Seite Colors. Hill of 7 colours which is just behind the plaza. That is amazing

Santa Rosa de Lima Church, dating back to 1648 and declared a National Historic Monument in 1941, is a must-visit around Plaza 9 de Julio. The church's simple yet striking architecture features thick adobe walls plastered with lime and a single tower. Adjacent to the church are two magnificent carob trees, one of which is over 600 years old and holds historical significance.
This town surrounding this church is just wonderful, while traveling around on day-trips we still came back here to spend the night. This church and this beautiful wise tree is holding the community together. I like this town the most. For north european and scandinavian here is some delightful estethics and cleanliness and order. Seems like people live well, their houses are well taken care of and looks like everyone is enjoying the beauty of this valle even the Virgen.

The Hill of Seven Colors, also known as Cerro de los Siete Colores, is a stunning natural wonder in Argentina. This jagged rock formation boasts a mesmerizing display of pastel hues including lavenders, oranges, and yellows. While it may be challenging to spot all seven colors at once, the morning sun illuminates the rocky surface with a breathtaking spectrum of colors.
The Seven Colors Hill is a true gem in Purmamarca. At sunset and especially sunrise, the colours are popping and it's a perfect time to get some pictures. Walking around the central square, there's plenty of locals selling false alpaca clothing all made in Bolivia. There, you have a great view over the hill and don't really need to pay for a better observation site.

Great experience. The Mirador is just in front of the hill and you have great view You can then do the walk, not difficult at all and very nice

The walk around the Hill of Seven Colors is definitely worth it! The trail takes about 1 hour and costs around 1000 ARS. It’s an easy hike, not difficult at all, and the views are absolutely stunning. A super nice and relaxing activity to do while in Purmamarca!
Beat R — Google review
Absolutely spectacular walk! I was charged 300 pesos for the loop but usually that’s the Argentinian national price (despite being a foreigner myself). It’s so worth it and also you can use the same ticket the next day if you want.

We were told that people come here in the evening to see the sunset. To be honest, it is not as exciting as watching the sunset on the ocean beach. The mountains change the way it goes. But it is a good exercise, 1070 steps going up, not very hard. If you are not fit for it, you can use taxi or the cable car. There are couple of restaurants with a good view over the city, which is very white.
Ashod M — Google review
Save yourself $20 and either walk up "Entrada Escalinata Peatonal Cerro San Bernardo" or take a taxi. The hike has plenty of resting benches. It's a beautiful view of the city
David R — Google review
Beautiful hill side that over looks the city of Salta. Worth the visit on a clear day. Several places to purchase beverages and food. Recommend bring a picnic basket. Access to the hill is via the aerial tram or car.
W O — Google review
It's quite an interesting place to visit with some great views over the city. The cable car costs between 15-20,000 pesos, but it can be walked for free. The walk is fairly easy, just a series of stone steps but taking water is advisable. It's about a 45 minute walk to reach the top. There are vendors selling drinks and snacks at the start and up at the top, along with a cafe and some stalls selling souvenirs, local wines and beers etc. There are also a couple of basic calisthenic gyms and a playground. Toilets are also available free of charge. A good way to spend an afternoon in Salta!

You can get there by hiking for around 1 hour if the teleferico doesn’t go. It’s a nice but steep walk. Beautiful view over salta.
The P — Google review
This is a very nice view of the city. They have a really cute park and some artisan merchandise We didn't visit the restaurant up there but it looked like it had a nice view of the city. We took the teleférico up and back and it was a really nice and relaxed ride that revealed more of the city as we were going up.

Catedral Basílica de Salta is a stunning Roman Catholic cathedral with a striking pink facade and an opulent gilded interior. It was designated as a National Historic Monument in 1941 and holds great significance as the resting place of General Guemes, a national hero who played a crucial role in Argentina's fight for independence.
Beautiful basilica in the center of the city! Has daily mass

Lovely Church. Attended mass in Spanish this morning.

Sept.25: short visit as we were in Salta @time of arrival there was a mass. Beautiful in & outside. Free of charge.
Petra ( — Google review
Both a great tourist attraction and a fully functioning Catholic church (mass is celebrated daily), this is the main cathedral in the city of Salta. Not old, for European standards, it was built in the mid 1800s, it still boasts a richly decorated interior full of altars and religious art (paintings, statues and a wonderfully fresco painted ceiling). The cloister next door is small and not breathtaking, but still worth to see when visiting the cathedral.
Niccolo' B — Google review
Impressive example of decorative art. This building though is fairly recent. The atmosphere is cozy. The church has many security guards who are very helpful may you need assistance. It is a great place to pray or simply to admire the many different artifacts and sculptures.

Natural History Museums
The Museum of High Altitude Archaeology (MAAM) is located in a 19th-century building and showcases artifacts from the Inca culture found in the Andes Mountains. One of its most famous exhibits is the Mummies of Llullaillaco, which were discovered at a high altitude near the peak of Llullaillaco. This significant archaeological find dates back over 500 years and provides insight into Inca rituals and practices.
Absolutely fascinating museum documenting the discovery of three incredibly well-preserved Incan children who were buried as part of a ritual. The museum is fairly small, but covers a lot of information on the archeological team who uncovered them as well as the Incas and the rituals performed. There is only one body on display at a time for preservation sakes, but there is also another Incan mummy on display too in a separate exhibition. Cost for foreigners to enter was 12,000 pesos, less for Argentinan nationals and even less for locals. Well worth a visit.
MT M — Google review
Fascinating museum. We arrived at 11:10 and waited approx 15 minutes to enter the museum, buying tickets on the door. Really insightful if you have limited prior knowledge of Inca history and culture. An incredible opportunity to see The Lightning Girl mummy, very harrowing. Limited English translations so we missed understanding some of the exhibits, but to be expected in an Argentinian museum. The museum is quite small and can easily be visited within 1.5h. I’d love a larger collection and more stories, but overall a worthwhile visit.
Laura B — Google review
Great little museum. I was there for about an hr. There are some pretty interesting and intricate artifacts, but the highlight is definitely seeing the mummy and reading about the sacrifice. There are three mummies of which 1 is on display for 8 months at a time. You can see pictures/videos of the others however. There is also a 2nd mummy that was found in the 1920s (and lost on the black market until recently) that is also on display and looks like it’s from a horror movie. Great museum and a bit creepy. Especially with the eerie music playing.
Mark Z — Google review
Relatively interesting but small museum. I completely understand that tourists pay the double price compared to nationals and four time the entrance fee for people from Salta… however, since most of the explanation is in Spanish and there is only few elements translated in English… the price is not fair. You could, at least provide a paper with the translation in English
Heyfa A — Google review
Very interesting museum and a must do in Salta. The exhibition is translated into English (or at least the main exhibition is). I would recommend to anyone visiting the area. You can tell great care was taken in explaining everything as best as possible and showing things with respect. The price for a foreigner was $13,000 in July 2025. For a national it was $6,000 and for an Argentinian student it was $2,000. You pay for the tickets at the entrance. When we arrived they told us we had to wait 20 mins until the next group were allowed, even though we didn’t go around as a group, I guess this is to steady the flow.
Ella — Google review
Great museum. You learn a lot about the incas and their relation with the mountains. It took us about 1h to go through every and we found it perfect. I really recommend it during your stay in Salta.
Adrien G — Google review
Many interesting artifacts including the bodies / mummies of three inca children preserved by frozen temperatures. May be jarring to some and frightening to children, which one should assume at the mention of a mummy. Very interesting dark and quiet exhibit room, 5 stars for that on its own, but overall left me wanting a little more by the end.

IGLESIA Y MUSEO SAN FRANCISCO is a stunning Spanish colonial-style basilica and convent located in Salta, Argentina. This historical monument, built between 1767 and 1872, showcases Italianate Neocolonial architecture with ivory-white columns against vibrant ox-blood walls. The church's intricate detailing of Latin inscriptions and Neoclassical patterns adds to its grandeur.
Unforgettable experience listening to a well explained description about the church history and its ornaments. Beautiful church and surroundings

I enjoyed the tour of the basilica museum . Although I don’t speak much Spanish the tour guides did a wonderful job including me with some description in English and many plaques had info in English too. A highlight are the frescos in the cloister and the trip up the bell tower. The basilica is really beautiful and if you can go to a service the music (on guitar, mandolins, violin and 3 part harmonies ) is wonderful. There is a courtyard restaurant next door ( patio de San Francisco ) with excellent food .
Sarah C — Google review
A beautiful basilica that you are able to tour as well as participate in Mass. The architecture stand alone is a sight to see. The grounds are immaculate and it demonstrate people here take care of their cultural heritage. Not only are you able to tour the basilica and view the city from the top of the bell towers, you can also participate in Mass. Many religious artifacts are present here. I noticed a statue of baby Jesus and what seemed to be an image of Pope John Paul II blessing the artifact. Much culture to experience here.

Not as rich and fancy as other basilicas but from the outside it does look beautiful. Also, some stuff inside look a little creepy and scary. Seems like they didn't have enough budget to create something better

You will explore the whole Basilica, from the architecture, their story; to the Franciscan order and their influence, work and help with the aborigines. If you're planning a visit to Salta, make sure to include the Teleférico San Bernardo in your itinerary. This charming cable car takes you on an exhilarating ride up to a hill that offers stunning panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. Tickets can be conveniently purchased at the base for around 2200 pesos for a round trip, with minimal wait times typically under ten minutes. As you ascend, you'll be treated to beautiful sights of palm trees and gardens, making the journey itself quite enjoyable.
Splendid view of the city. Just buy the way up as you can easily walk down through the forrest path on your way down.
Ludovic S — Google review
At $15000 / person this is an absolute rip off. We wanted to buy tickets at the kiosk but were told by the security guard to wait outside. We waited about 20 minutes before being allowed to buy a ticket. The ride itself is OK, but should be about half the price. Once you are at the top there is little there apart from overpriced retail concessions and toilets. The view is fine but there is no information or any walking routes once you are up there. Save money and get a taxi up, or take the 55 minute walk if you have the stamina.
Tim R — Google review
As a tourist you have to pay 20.000 pesos, for people 8.000. This is discrimitation. Discrimination is forbidden. I don't know what the gouvernement is doing with all that money, in their own pockets I think.
D W — Google review
Very nice ride up the gondola, $6.25 USD per person at current market rate. Beautiful palm trees and walks, garden and view at the top. Also the option to walk up or down but it is pretty long. Water feature wasn't working which is too bad. There is a generic touristy restaurant and a highly rated resuarant but it's closed Monday and tuesday

When visiting Salta this one should be on your list , One gets a good panoramic view of the city and the surrounding area, The travel up and down the hill is quite fun, A small coffee shop to enjoy a drink and take in the view before the short return trip , The cost is 2200 pesos per person
Yuval K — Google review
I think the attendant should get more involved in moving the crowd into the cars. There was a fairly long line and some folks were going up only two at a time, when the cars could carry at least four individuals. It made things unnecessarily slow.
Sergio R — Google review
Teleférico San Bernardo is the station for the aerial tramway to the top of the hill. You can get the talk just walk-in, price is S.500 for a return trip, and usually there is queue for the ticket, but usually only took less than 10 mins. As each of the car is for 4 person, staffs may put you with other people together if you only have 2. However, if the queue is short, you may request to have a private car, staffs are friendly and usually ok to do so. After 10 mins will take you to the top of the hill, and the view is very nice in between

Cuesta del Obispo is a winding and gravelly wilderness path that stretches from the Escoipe gorge to the Piedra del Molino. Whether approaching from Salta or Cafayate, travelers can expect well-maintained asphalt roads with some sections of gravel.
Beautiful beginning part to the drive
Acrotravels A — Google review
Thinking that this drive would be slightly less incredible compared to my previous days drives through the Salinas and El Hornocal, I couldn't have been more wrong. You start in Yungas and make your way ever higher to a marvelous red rock canyon which contrasts dramatically with the lush green vegetation. Eventually the road became dirt and climbed into the clouds only to emerge on a desert altiplano which descends to the famous Recta del Tin Tin, a road said to be in use since the Incas. Spectacular.

Absolutely breathtaking. The power of the water, the constant roar, and the mist rising from the abyss—it’s something you feel in your chest. Photos and videos don’t do it justice. The Amphitheatre is another nice presentation what nature can do. It's located just few hundred meters away from more popular Gargante del Diablo which we visited couple minutes before, so we stayed here less then there. Beautiful spot! The only shame here is that tourists can not wisper and listen to the natural noise and the local playing instruments. Best time to visit is in the late afternoon when the sun is about to set

Awesome place, if youmre heading along the route — well worth the 5 minutes to stop by and check it out.

Amazing! Gorgeous! A must if you are traveling to northern Argentina. It is a geological structure where you are in the middle of a rock formation modified by the elements and besides that it’s just a few meters from the road, you have a parking lot and it’s free. Inside you can find some artisan selling things and you might find people playing some music taking advantage of the natural acoustic. 100% recommended

The Amphitheatre is another nice presentation what nature can do. It's located just few hundred meters away from more popular Gargante del Diablo which we visited couple minutes before, so we stayed here less then there. Plus here were more people, so to be honest I liked Gargante more. If you are with younger kids then maybe this is better place for them to see stunning red rocks which were formed millions years ago in the past. Entrance is free...

Nothing special ... perhaps it is just "hyped" because it is easy for tour buses to access. There are many, many more beautiful places to see, without the crowds of people.

Picturesque colored rock formations embedded with marine fossils, plus a natural amphitheater.
Wow, whst an absolute treat this adventure was. We rented a camper van in Córdoba and travelled all through this area. Stunning views around every corner. You really feel like you should be out on a horse, herding llamas while keeping an eye out for armadillos, iguanas and wild foxes, all of which we saw here. The colours and hues change through the the days and sunsets and sunrises are truly spectacular sights. Lots of stops along the way to check out canyons, vistas, caves, natural amphitheatres, etc. Roads are quite good although you do have to get used to windy mountain driving. Much more influence of indigenous people in this area. Different foods too.

One of the most stunning drives I’ve ever done. The colors and rock formations are surreal—like stepping into a painting. Every few minutes, you feel like stopping the car just to stare. We took our time, pulled over at El Anfiteatro and La Garganta del Diablo (both a must), but honestly, the whole road is an open-air museum. Go around sunset if you can—the light on the red rocks is unforgettable. No entrance fee, just nature at its best.

Sept.25: following RN68 from Cafayate to Salta, this ravine is truly awesome with magnificent views! Take your time to stop wherever you can & take in those views!

And I thought southwest USA was unique! Northwest Argentina in general, and this Quebrada in particular, are just as spectacular, colorful and breathtaking. I so wish I had devoted more time to explore it. Do yourself a favor and spend time here. If you're pressed for time, you can skip the Garganta del Diablo and El anfiteatro, way too touristy, and go backcountry. I recommend spending at least 3 days here.

Cafayate Square, also known as Plaza 20 de Febrero, is a popular gathering place for both locals and visitors in the heart of Cafayate. Surrounded by well-kept greenery and a variety of dining and shopping options, it's an iconic spot to enjoy the city's charm. The square is flanked by the charming Church on one side and offers a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation.
Beautiful park. Is the central spot in town. Around it, you can find the Church, many restaurant options, and the handcrafted spot, and you can try the wine ice cream too! Highly recommend to take your book, your sandwich, and enjoy the view and peaceful silence.

Sept.25 beautiful central park in Cafayate with in the surrounding area nice buildings, restaurants, cafes & church.

It was the last day of the celebration so there still quite a few people and a reasonable amount of rubbish.

Very nice at night with church bells ringing

A beautiful, green and peaceful plaza. Many coffee shops, restaurants shops around it, as well as the church. At night the place gets lively with many people, families, and music from the restaurants.

Clean park but not happy with the city parking staff. We parked to enjoy the afternoon and approached by a parking attendant which sold us a parking permit. We then got approached 1 hour later and told that the permit that we bought was sold to us by a bandito that was dressed in exact same attire and had a official receipt/permit book but not employed by the town to do so. They wanted us to either buy again (even though ours was an official one) or get towed by police. Not a great practice from this community. The police showed up and said they would get our money back because they know who the person is but they never did. Now I’m not sure who the real bandito’s are.

One of the most beautiful and practical square I have encountered in Argentina. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants and the charming church on the west. I enjoyed visiting Cafayate. It's lovely, friendly and has great wines.

The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary is a significant landmark in Cafayate, showcasing a blend of architectural styles including Colonial, Renaissance, and Arab influences. Located in the main square, it's an essential visit for anyone exploring the city. After admiring the beautiful church and square, visitors can indulge in one of Cafayate's famous wine ice-creams from nearby parlors. These unique treats offer a delicious taste of the region's renowned wines in sorbet form.
Beautiful church. Very nice visit.

Not very impressive at all. Very bland and superficial architecture, nothing of note. If you want to see a beautiful or elegant church, go to Salta. If you want to see a lovely and quaint one, go to one of the surrounding villages. It's striking yellow colour is extraordinary, but largely for the wrong reasons: it only highlights the lack of lustre or details.

(Translated by Google) Located opposite the main square, the Cafayate Cathedral (late 19th century) breaks with the adobe aesthetic of the rest of the valleys. Its imposing façade, in earthy and yellow tones, is in the Italianate post-colonial style. But its greatest unique feature lies inside: it is one of the few churches in South America with five naves, giving it a surprising and unusual spaciousness. Light enters gently, creating an atmosphere of great serenity. It is the religious and architectural heart of the city.

Bodega Nanni is a family-owned winery established in 1897, offering guided tours, tastings of organic vintages, and dining options. It is one of the many wineries and wine producers located in the province.
Excellent lunch and incredible value for Argentina. Great to find plentiful vegetable options and a lentil salad. Steak was cooked nicely in a tasty wine sauce. Above all the service very charming and helpful, English spoken.
Daryl — Google review
Nanni definitely has the best ambiance of the bodegas in town - it has a lovely courtyard where you can sit and enjoy your wine as well as a restaurant that is supposed to be good but i did not try. The tasting was nice but the wines weren’t my personal favorite. They are quite light and dry and i like a more full bodied wine - but depends what you are looking for!
Melissa B — Google review
Sept.25: we needed to go twice, as tasting would again start @3PM & wasn't possible when we arrived @Nanni around 1.30PM. As we came back, we could choose between 3 wines for ARS4.000 or 5 wines with 1 reserva in it for ARS8.000. We already drank quite some wine this morning @another tasting, we decided to do only the 3 wine option. 2 white Torontes & 1 red Malbec, none of them could strike us, too dry. We probably had chosen the wrong option. However the service, location & inner court yard garden were excellent. Our server spoke unfortunately only Spanish
Petra ( — Google review
Upon arrival, we were thrilled with the stylishly decorated interior, very pleasant service by Monika, and excellent wine. However, the resulting impression was spoiled by the fact that even after 3 hours of waiting, the ordered dish - risotto with Malbec - was not delivered! Hopefully this review will be useful to the owner and he will take appropriate measures so that other customers do not experience such disappointment.

Amazing bodega in the city of Cafayate. Great wines and very good value for money. The lunch menu is exquisite and the wine pairing is sensational. Great atmosphere and good service! We had a lovely afternoon!

Museum of the Vine and Wine of Cafayate, Salta, Argentina

Specialty Museums
The Museum of the Vine and Wine in Cafayate, Salta, Argentina is a modern and interactive exhibit that delves into the region's winemaking traditions. Situated in the Calchaqui Valleys, this museum offers a dynamic display on the history and characteristics of vineyards in the area, focusing on high altitude wines. Housed in an old wine cellar, it provides a low-cost bilingual tour for visitors to learn about the character and history of these unique wines.
The Museum of the Vine and Wine of Cafayate is an impressive tribute to the art of wine-making, with a special focus on wine in the Salta region. More than simply a collection of equipment and information about wine, the exhibit is saturated with the passion and dedication of the winegrowers and drinkers. It paints a story of life and beauty through the growth of the vines, the harvesting of grapes and their transformation into wine. Your entry to the museum also includes a taste of a local wine at the end, which is a lovely touch having spent the time to learn how the wines are made! The only criticism that might be made of the museum is that it's quite text-heavy, even though the content is artfully written and presented. For me, this wasn't an issue and I loved how it was done. A visit to this museum is exceptionally worthwhile for anyone visiting Cafayate and enjoying everything else it has to offer!

The 8000 peso entry fee is worth the cost but I’m into my wines (new world mostly) so I was curious and interested to learn about the Argentinian wine history. I’d learned from my LP guidebook that Cafayate is Argentinas premier wine growing area so I ended up reading practically every paragraph or story posted in English around the passages of the well documented museum. Congratulations to the people who made the museum possible.

I hadn't intended to go here before I arrived as to be honest I hadn't seen mention of it. Its a must see during your visit, a really nice exhibition. Plus you get a tasting included in the (very modest) ticket price. Mine was done by a very friendly lady who tried very hard despite my poor Spanish.
Nathan W — Google review
We have visited many wine museums around the world, and this one stands out. Very detailed description of everything surrounding the vines and the wines, especially liked the discussion around atmospheric conditions in the region, and the impact on water quality the soil. Highly recommended.

Great start for your time in Cafayate. You'll find a detailed script along the self-guided visit, with an English version on the side. The cost for nationals is around a dollar, while a dollar & a half for foreign visitors. There's a wine bar in the premises, of course. From here, you'll make the most of your wine tasting in the area and I believe you'll also judge your purchases as a connoisseur.

Amazing empanadas made on the spot (dough included) and cooked on a wood oven. Incredible wine serbed by people who know about wine. Great prices.
Alexandros A — Google review
Very detailed and poetic descriptions of winemaking in this part of Argentina. They take a lot of pride in their winemaking process, rightfully so because the wines here are incredible! After the interactive museum (which is very high tech!), please relax and have a drink and snack at the bar. Empanadas are divine and the employees are wonderful, very personable and cheerful, and happy to have people here. We felt very welcome, even if we were strangely ordering food, wine and coffee at 17h 😂 (still on American time with our meals and everywhere else was closed haha). Overall learned so much more about the winemaking process, unique terrain in the north of Argentina. Muchisimas gracias!

Great hike to see the waterfalls. I only had time for the short one, which took about an hour, including a few stops for photos. You pay 12,000 pesos (17,000 for the long one). it of a bumpy road to drive there but I did it in a Peugeot 208. My guide Fernando was great stopping to show various points of interest and helping me over boulders. You're going to ha e to walk through the river in places ankle deep . But a nice hike with views.

Very good trekking, we had a very good guide. We arrived at the place at 3:00 PM, didn’t have to wait, and chose the route with 3 waterfalls. In reality, we made it almost to the 6th waterfall but didn’t have enough time as it started to get dark. Everything is well organized, the route to the 3 waterfalls can be done with children (not small ones), but beyond that, the trail gets quite difficult. We got a boost of energy and a great mood. Many thanks!

Wonderful hike, nevertheless slightly demanding (1,5 hour). I have no problem paying for a fee to the local community who indeed guided us very well with very interesting and insightful comments. Would highly recommend. My wife and I only have one regret : we did not plan enough time to do the long hike (4hours). Enjoy!
Jean-Marie C — Google review
After a 5km drive on an unpaved but decent enough road we arrived and were welcomed by the locals who organize this together with the municipality. Gloria our tour guide who lives there nearby as well was amazing. We did the long hike and she was great. So overall it is absolutely a recommendation: Fun, save, cheap (please tip though as this really helps the locals) and beautiful.
Rutger O — Google review
Great, great hike! Quite challenging, diverse landscales, a lot of fun, and amazing vistas! It is guided, which generally does not appeal to us, but since the path changes every month due to the rising and falling of the water level, the path was not always clear, so the guide was actually of help. If is 12.000 pp for the short one, and 17.000 for the larger one (app. 2-3h). Highly recommend!
Martijn B — Google review
Great hiking experience. 5.8km with nearly 300m elevation 3hours hike. But don’t get fulled by the data. It’s demanding because there is a lot of jumping over rivers and lots of climbing. The landscapes are amazing and the waterfalls very nice. The guide Jose was amazing sharing a lot of information regarding the region and the living of the mountains. We paid 10.000ARS and we think the price of fair for it. Without guide we wouldn’t reach the waterfalls and wouldn’t have so much fun. Totally recommend. But tickets at the entrance.
Henrique P — Google review
Worth every peso, the hike was incredible and our guide was just perfect. We reached the 3 waterfalls in 30 minutes and did the 7 in 2 hours. Definitely bring good shoes and a bathing suite!
Verena — Google review
The landscapes and the nature are stunning. We did the large loop together with our guide Sebastian who was very friendly and always supported us when passing difficult areas. We are used to hiking and climbing but would have never found the path ourselves. Therefore, it's a no-brainer to hire the guide and by that supporting the local community. Pricing is very reasonable at 17k Pesos/person. Highly recommend.
