Very cool place and pretty massive. Spanning two floors and plenty of shops ranging from groceries to restaurants, fresh fish to nuts and spices. It even had an antique fair and collectibles shops. You will always find something for yourself here.

Old building very not well taken care of. There are independent fish markets (complete with the authentic Yelling) and health food stores, but the rest is mediocre cafes, overpriced sit down food, mediocre padarias, insanity of panhandling and graffiti outside. I can't believe I lived in Porto Alegre for 3 years before visiting this jewel! Come here first if you're looking for artesenal gifts or souvenirs that are unique and truly reflect Porto Alegre. It's also a great place just to pass the day. Lot's to see, tons of restaurant options, clearly a popular spot in the city, for shopping, walking, running, or just getting some air.

It's a beautiful and quite big park. Locals love to go on weekends and I would recommend to tourist do the same. The park is fun this days when is full of people, but can be quite dangerous the other days of the week. Here you can be robbed even with violence, so try to not go alone. Same applies to the city in general. Try to stay just were is other people and you will see just the nicer face of the city.

Great and modern stadium, home of Grêmio one of the most traditional Brazilian football teams.They don't sell beer inside and there is a metro station quite close. If you are not from the city i suggest to take a cab or Uber.

We went for the Guns ‘n Roses concert. Very good stadium with good structure. Just be careful on the surroundings, when getting there or when going home.

It may be because I am comparing this shopping centre to the ones in Australia, but it is quite small. I’d say there are enough shops to cover the basics of what you would need, but I expected a lot more clothing stores. Food stores don’t open until close to lunch and if you are English speaking and don’t know much Portuguese, make sure to have google translate ready, as almost no one speaks English. Not a big deal though! Staff were more than happy to converse using the google translate app.

Nice zoo around the area that offers you something different than what is around Gramado/Canela for a good price compared to the rest. Most animals look happy, however, some others looked bored to be in a very small and limited area, like some monkeys, owls, felines. I’d love to see them in a bigger area. On the other side, birds looked happy and people are able to feed them paying 5.00 Reais extra at the end of the visit. The food court is nice, they have local food options like sugar cane juice and ice cream with flavors from the region. I’d visit it again and hope that they make some areas bigger for animals since they can’t go back to the wild. I enjoyed my visit.

I visited this zoo 5 years ago and am very sad to see the poor maintenance and state this place has become now. At least 50% of cages and areas have their animals missing. Tried to reserve a vip visit 24 hours before visiting and had no online or telephone reply. When arrived we were offered a wheelchair instead of a guided electrical cart, to find out that most areas are NOT wheel chair accessible. Food offered at the premises like “natural fruit juices” are expensive and the only “natural” is that they are 80% water!!! In resuming, a very poor customer service experience, not worth the entrance + parking fee. Very deteriorated no maintenance premises….seems to be running out of maintenance funds. A frustrating day in what was supposed to be a nice experience for my 18 year old niece coming back from cancer.

The animals are great and the zoo is well kept but the ticket is expensive costing 60 reais per adult. To make matters worse they charge 10 reais for visitors for parking and another 10 reais if you want To use a stroller. It is absurd that the zoo won't offer these items to customers being that the entry ticket is already high. They have a huge empty parking area! Not recommended!

Large jungle cats were in tiny enclosures despite the vacant lots throughout the zoo. There is plenty of room to expand the habitats. It was heartbreaking to watch the pumas pace back and forth, they’ve lost their minds.

The most beautiful part of this place is the nature. Therefore there's no have safe structure for your children or pets. There's no signals or posts of directions on the road. The road that we used was very straight. But, I have a good point to explain: the view is exciting! And there's a lot of plant types. Nice place to be on a hot day. Opens at 10.00 am. All the big Brazilian stores there. A very varied food patio and many coffee shops. Good variety of other shops like bookshops, beds etc. An outlet for MoneyGram is very useful and the bathrooms are great. A bit more expensive then ordinary shops maybe but the a/c and comfort balances out. Parking in store or paying nearby. Definitely worth a visit when in Tubarao.

Spectacular view from the top of the hill where the lighthouse sits. You have to park your car on the street and walk up a trail to the top of the hill , but it’s and extremely easy walk without too much inclination. It was summer when we went, so flowers were blooming and butterflies where hovering all around. This is a fascinating location for birdwatchers given the variety of birds flying around the trail. Once at the top of the hill and facing north, there’s is a stunning view of an old cemetery overlooking the ocean and a sand dune covered beach. Facing west, you are directly about the beach and town of Santa Marta. And East, is obviously an open view of the ocean crashing upon rocks. The lighthouse was closed, but even so, the view is worth the short hike up.

Great place for a city escape. Signal reception is not good, non existent in some places. The village is really small, with not much to do, specially at night. There are great beaches to visit, some accessed through short trails.

An antique lighthouse that long ago functioned with whale oil. Beautiful and well-maintained, with bright white paint. A couple of locals told us we could get to the lighthouse from there, and we found a section of fence missing and a small footpath twisting among cactus and tall grasses and weeds. Now we had a snake-infested field between us and 12-yr-old and our car. We couldn't shout a warning to our kid because of the wind and waves, but fortunately he didn't try to follow us. Surf prohibited May-July. Santa Caterina has a law that due to fishing you cannot surf on many beaches during this period. Rosa Norte allows surfing but it's busy. Very quite beach and village except in season, but a very nice, friendly place.

We took the 3h trek from Praia do Armacao and it was a difficult hike, but so worth it for the views on sunny days like these. I believe this is the most secluded beach I’ve ever been. To get there you have 2 options. First, you go to Armação beach then cross the river if low tide or the bridge to go to Matadeiro beach. Once you arrive in matadeiro walk to the very end and you will find a track that leads you to Lagoinha. Take plenty of water and food because it’s a long hike, approximately 2 hours. Second option is to take a bus from armação to Pântano do Sul and there is another track that leads you to Lagoinha do Leste Beach which is much shorter, around an hour hiking.

Definitely my favorite beach on the island. Insane views, amazing waters and really good waves for surfing beginners!

Great beach overall. Access is made by a small and easy hiking walkway. It is a good spot for surfers, as waves are frequent and the beach isn't cramped with people casually swimming. It has no exit at its southern end besides the start of the hiking trail. It has some small restaurants through its course.

It's a beautiful and selective beach since it's only accessible through a trail. You can find good local restaurants during the high season. In June - July you can watch and hear the whales. It's awesome.

Very tricky to reach. Don't recomend for disable people or kids. But it's beautiful. It has trees so you don't necessarily need an umbrella

One of my favourite beaches in Florianopolis- amazing blue water and a great vibe on the beach. Really peaceful and good atmosphere- there is a bar on the beach which is quite cool
