One of the most beautiful hotels. The view is simply amazing and it is also near the beach..🔝😍🔝
Gianluca R — Google review
Just coming off of Covid19 restriction, this hotel wasn't as up to date for the price they charged. The rooms were adequate, but not magical. Lots of damage all around, the closet was breaking, the railing on the stairs was broken/dangerous. The pool closed, even though the other hotel pools were open. Over all, disappointing. The good, the staff was excellent, very helpful, and breakfast was very good. Overall, I would definitely select another hotel for my next visit.

2a Praia

Beach
Outdoor Activities
The 2a Praia in Morro de Sao Paulo is a popular beach with people looking for lots of fun during the holidays. It's home to some of the most popular beach bars and restaurants in town, as well as some of the most beautiful views of the ocean. It's just a short walk from the center of town and it's always crowded during high season, thanks to tourists who love its laid-back atmosphere and cool water.
The best place in morro de São Paulo , very lively, amazing beach and views and good vibes !
Alexandra G — Google review
this is a very lively crowded beach, it is semi-swimmable, but doesn't feel too clean, more for a dip in the water, as its a small bay on both sides of the point/ small island. its more a very vibrant area with a lot of choice to eat and drink, and a boardwalk for walking along the coastline, and people watch (a tonne of people watching here!!!). for a European visitor, it has Ibiza vibes, high season. so if you like party and busy, mixture of loud music, and young people, this is for you!!
MNML J — Google review
Beautiful beach, you can lie down and never have to get up, someone will get you all the acai and caipi you'll need. Lots of football, dancers and people having fun!
Pavel K — Google review
The beach may have been beautiful years before but over tourism has taken its charm. For one, it is highly commercialised with several overpriced and poor quality restaurants such as Sambass, where I had a terrible meal. I am a tourist myself, but feel there was a strange vibe from the swarm of tourists there who don’t seem to understand the basic manners of public spaces and I was made to feel uncomfortable by a group of men sitting strangely close to our towels and causing us to have to move away as they began playing football over our heads. Not to mention, the beach is filthy with trash left behind from such tourists. The beach was unenjoyable due to the above and I genuinely wouldn’t recommend spending your time and money to go there. There are many other beaches in Brazil with a much better ambience and less tourists with no manners.
S D — Google review
This place it's amazing, I can't wait to go back. If you want to save some money on food you better eat at the various restaurants at the village unread go to the beach.
EVERALDO A — Google review
It is a great beach, the water is very good, clean and warm. There is no waves, so it is possible to relax in the sea. There are a lot of restaurants in the beach.
Victor B — Google review
What can I say I fell in love with morro de Sao Paulo. The second beach houses most of the restaurants and bars. this means it offers very good day and night activities
Liesel81 — Google review

Quarta Praia

Quarta Praia is a tranquil and secluded beach in Morro de Sao Paulo, known for its peaceful atmosphere and calm sea. It is one of the farthest beaches from the island's center, offering a long stretch of sand and delightful warm natural pools during low tide. The clear and warm waters attract numerous tourists seeking relaxation and natural beauty. Despite being less frequented due to its distance, it provides an ideal setting for those looking for restful moments away from the hustle and bustle.
Best beach in Morro. Quiet, very long and beautiful walk. We enjoyed spending time in the hammocks on the beach and had good fruit juices.
Gigi F — Google review
The sea is cleaner and clearer here, compared to 1,2,3 beaches. however it is shallow and full of rocks. so it's only for a dip/bath and not really for a swim at all. there are a handful of restaurant/bars or stalls here on the beach. the drawing point is that it is much more peaceful and beautiful than the first 2 beaches, where they are just way too busy.
MNML J — Google review
The beach is beautiful, but for those who want bath or swim, it’s better to keep walking till the second half of the beach
Bruno L — Google review
Really liked it. Away from the crowds of the other beaches that are closer to the town centre you'll find a nice beach with very little amount of people (takes a while to get there as you can only get there by foot I think). Because of that, unfortunately this isn't an option for people with reduced mobility. There are a couple of bars that (I think) serve some food (although we didn't eat). Not a place to watch the sunset, best during the morning/day time (till 16:30-17:00)
Isa A — Google review
Much quieter than in town. Worth walking here and sitting in the shade of the big trees after a splash.
Paolo D — Google review
It’s a very flat and shallow beach, even with the tide. The mud is very soft and is good for rubbing on your skin or throwing at your friends (or enemies, you choose). It’s the least crowded beach, especially farther south.
Angus B — Google review
This is the most peaceful and beautiful beach of Morro. When the tide is low you can swim in natural pools with many colorful fishes. The coast is designed with palm trees and other trees.

(Translated by Google) Cuieira Beach is incredibly beautiful, with many seashells lining the shore and a lush landscape. You can walk there from Boipeba Square in 10 to 15 minutes. There are a few beach huts, including the famous Guido da Lagosta restaurant. The view is stunning, and coconut trees line the entire length of the beach. It's definitely worth a visit! (Translated by Google) The beach is very beautiful and quite extensive, but doesn't have many restaurants. It's one of the closest to the center of Boipeba within walking distance (however, it's part of the route for some of the island's main tours, so it's easily accessible). Unfortunately, I only had a very quick visit, but I would definitely invest a day there to explore and enjoy it more. The beach also has many coconut trees, which make the landscape even more distinctive.

Moreré is a tranquil and secluded white-sand beach known for its clear waters and sweeping views. It offers a secluded vibe, making it perfect for calm tourists looking to avoid crowds. One popular option to explore the area is the Volta a Ilha boat ride, which takes visitors to the calmest pools far from the bustling areas. Accessible by various means such as boat, quad bike, or even tractor, Moreré's beauty has been likened to that of the Caribbean.
Morere is difficult to get to but well worth it: small quiet village, no noise, total relaxation. Transportation on the island includes tractors, ATVs, and boats. A boat trip to the mangrove areas and wild beaches is worthwhile.

What a wonderful place! There are options for all kinds of tourists, but the calmest ones prevail. Clearest water I've ever seen. Avoid the crowds and rent the Volta a Ilha boat ride. The guys will ride away from the drunk crowds and get you to the calmest pools, quite far from the floating pub.

(Translated by Google) The most beautiful beach on Boipeba Island. Calm sea, with a small bay that is perfect for spending hours in the water relaxing. The place has several stalls. I recommend Vanessa's bar (Pastel de Castelhanos), her pastries are fantastic and the service is amazing. And don't forget to stop by Mestre dos Magos' stall, where the BEST drink on the entire island is served. A paradise! Note: Always go with a guide, as it is easy to get lost on the path through the mangroves. (Translated by Google) One of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Since it is a little far from the village of Boipeba, there are a few ways to get to the beach: a speedboat ride around the island, an eco-tour on a quad bike, and a trail from the Bainema mangrove to the river and crossing by boat. I chose the most difficult way to get there, lol, but it was worth it, because of the beautiful landscapes along the trail. Calm, crystal clear, warm waters. I recommend walking along the sandbank to the end of the beach, which has beautiful fallen coconut trees, great for taking photos.

Popular beach in the area to watch the sunset, lots of people having a drink and enjoying it. Water was fairly warm, waves very small, slight pebbly section at the water's edge but after that 5 metre stretch, all sandy.

Cool just to see the beach on the other side, the town and maybe a sunset. But as a beach, it's much better to go to resende, tiririca and ribeira. The sand here has a dirty-looking aspect and the beach feels crowded really fast. Not much space.

(Translated by Google) It's a long trail, between 40 and 50 minutes through the woods. Many people say you don't need a guide, but if it's your first time, I recommend hiring one because there are a couple of confusing sections on the trail that aren't well-marked. The guide cost R$100.00 for the couple. Praia de Jeribucaçu is a remote and pristine beach located in a tropical paradise. Accessible via a challenging hiking trail, this beach offers a beautiful sandy shoreline, palm trees, and a natural river. It is renowned for its excellent surf break, crystal clear lagoon, and delicious beach-made barbecued fish. Considered off the beaten track, it's possible to have the entire place to yourself.
One of the most wonderful beaches in Itacaré! There's a parking lot to the cars and you have to walk on a trial for approximately 20 minutes. It worth a lot!

Nice place, but the hiking is not easy.

Few people. Amazing place. Fresh fish to have lunch. Kind people. Clean pleace. There is no toilet.

Fantastic beach. Well worth the walk. The pastels are very big and can easily fill you up for lunch. Many natural pools and lots to do. 9/10 Would recommend.

Beautiful beach, you need to do a 20 minutes trailto get in,and it's better to be done with a nice weather. The GPS sometimes point to a wrong direction. You need to follow the signs and turn left right after the roundabout when you come from Itacaré.
Tiago V — Google review
It's decent if we do the trek through the mangrove and passing by the Usina waterfall to get there. However, I prefer Prainha, as it is more secluded.

Itacarezinho Beach

Mentioned on

Beach
Nature & Parks
Itacarezinho Beach is a tropical paradise located on Ilhe Itacare road, 15 km from the city center. This 3.5 km long beach is surrounded by coconut trees and features powdery white sand and a freshwater stream cascading down from the hill onto the beach. It's known for its good waves, making it a popular spot for surfing. To reach this picturesque destination, visitors can either walk down the hill or drive through private property.
This spot is as close to heaven as you can get here on earth. Be sure to stop at the Mirante on the way down for a beautiful photo. If you have the money, you can rent a gorgeous cabana, but be prepared to open up your wallet. It’s about $300R per person. $250R comes back in food and drinks. The second option is $300R total for chairs, an umbrella, pizza and a few beers. My best recommendation is solid footwear for the walk (10 mins downhill and 15 mins uphill), carry your Havianas, and bring water, snacks, and towels. You can also hike to another nearby beach on a trail should you choose. Last great perk, you can rinse off in a fresh water waterfall coming from the nearby river. Totally worth the trek.
Adrienne M — Google review
Very beautiful and quiet beach. You can get there by walking through the club, leaving your vehicle on the roadside. If you want to go down, they charge R$350 per person, which will be converted into consumption. We used the entrance fee and it wasn't worth it. I recommend walking down as access is quick and safe. There's a very good pizzeria on the beach that doesn't charge for food and costs R$80 for a pizza for two people. They also rent chairs, but as there are lots of coconut palms, a canga on the beach with the shade of these trees will take the edge off the sun.

One of the best beaches in Itacaré. You can either leave your car at the entrance and walk down to the beach or park inside the property at a cost. Itacarezinho isn't usually crowded. In case you don't have a beach chair or a parasol, you can rent them from the only kiosk you'll find on the premises. There is also a minimum spending requirement restaurant.

(Translated by Google) A lovely place. A very beautiful beach. Clean, nice to walk and swim. The service at Terra Nossa was impeccable, always concerned about our well-being. The house (tropical) is good, has everything you need, very clean and comfortable. The water in the area is yellowish for some reason related to EMBASA (the company that takes care of the water supply), remembering that it is a state problem, but nothing that would cause any harm. I really liked it, I would definitely go back! The barbecue areas are very good and the willingness to light a bonfire at night made the trip even better.

The Casa de Cultura Jorge Amado is a cultural space where the renowned writer, Jorge Amado, began his writing career. Originally a residence of the Amado family, it has been renovated and converted into a museum celebrating the author's life and works. The museum was inaugurated on 27th June 1997. Although small in size, it offers visitors an insight into the prolific literary output of this celebrated Brazilian author.
Amazing.

Jorge Amado wrote several Brazilian stories. It was good to visit the place where some of them might have been written .
Rodrigo G — Google review
The place seems forgotten by the local administration. It’s closed because of COVID but regardless of that it looks so forgotten. Painting got old, there are plants growing in the balconies, the place is forgotten. It proves the Brazilian tradition of destroying its history. Jorge Amado was one of Brazil’s greatest writers, his memory must be preserved, though the local administration of Ilheus seems to be doing that it can to destroy Jorge Amado’s memory.

Bataclan is a renowned restaurant in Ilhe, offering breathtaking views and specializing in seafood. The establishment's pleasant ambiance allows guests to immerse themselves in the local culture, as depicted in Jorge Amado's famous novel 'Gabriela, Cravo e Canela.' Once an old cabaret frequented by cocoa plantation owners, Bataclan now operates as a bar and restaurant while still captivating the imagination of many.
This is a little Gem of Ilhéus 💎 Highly recommended, food delicious ❗ Restaurant inspired by true events in historical building. Theme based on author Jorge Amado books. It's an old and historical brothel, which was very famous during the 20's. The place was later set on fire, and was completely restored. Today it is a memorial place that tells the history of the city. It is possible to see some cabarét shows, and have a guided visit to the most famous mistress of the time. It is really worth visiting.

2022 review Historic place with nice environment. Well preserved and private. I liked the old photos on the walls and the cabaré corner. Menu seems fair with some good options to pick from. A landmark in Ilhéus. Totally recommended. 2023 review Decided to have lunch here on a bank holiday. Ordered the filet mignon that is in the menu picture (you can find mine here attached) and carne do sol with rice and cassava puree (awful). Filet mignon a little over cooked than I asked. Loved the premium drinks though!

My wife and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our anniversary. We can’t put into words the quality of both the food and the service Bataclan delivered tonight. I ordered the filet mignon with penne with gorgonzola sauce and my wife had the sea food pasta, our entrees were excellent and perfectly cooked. My wife had a delicious Argentinean Malbec and I had the coldest tap beer you can possibly imagine. The historical site and live violinist adds even more reasons to visit this place. One of greatest experiences Ilheus has to offer.

This farm was so cool! Worth a visit!! But the lecture on cocoa was a bit much at the end. We had a translator, but even still, it was really hard. The guy would not take breaks for her to translate. And he did not read the room. The Portuguese speakers also looked a bit despondent during this sermon on cocoa 🤣. The best part was walking through the farm and seeing the inside of the pods and how they are roasted and fermented.

Mesut K — Google review
It has been a great experience so far. The staff is great especially Robert do Carmo, very friendly and funny. The weather is amazing and we've been enjoying the beach and pools everyday. The food is largely good and with lots of options the thematic nights at the main restaurant plays a key role in diversity. A few tweaks would get the service level from four to five stars and I'll list below. 1. Each food station should have plates and cutlery. 2. There's nowhere to eat between 6am and 7am, I know who is hungry at that time right, but there are parents with kids up around that time and not having access to food is annoying when you are in an all inclusive experience. 3. On the same line as the previous point, having the kids pool opening at 9am is a recipe for people not respecting the working hours, by 9 many kids have been up for 3 to 4 hours and managing their patience for that long is quite challenging. Around accommodations everything is a bit worn off in the apartments. The edge of the mirrors are rusty, the corner of the counters are worn, the cortains are old, the room could use a coat of paint. These are details that don't impact the overall experience but makes it unfair to rank it a 5. The wifi has to be better, if you are going to offer the service it should be of good quality and at this point it simply not. They have a confirmed bot, "Jorginho" which can't answer simple questions it's another sign that tech needs an update around here. All in all, I probably would come back here. Perhaps try the villa accommodations as they seem to be newer.
Luis C — Google review

Gorgeous resort with lots to do for kids and adults. The food could be better. My kids (4 and 6) loved the clubinho do sol, the park, the beach, the pool, and the zip line. I enjoyed the dance lessons and workout class at the beach, as well as the massage (extra charge).
Andrea R — Google review
Good food and beverage, the beers quality is above the average all inclusive I've been in Brazil. The resort itself is quite pleasant with a chill out area with beach view and an extra pool located next to reception for adults mostly if you dont fancy children screaming and running around you. The main issue I found there was the service. When arriving be prepared to wait in line for a long time as they are really slow to check you in. Also if like me you have a flight later in the afternoon, after check out they will ban you to access any amenities from the hotel and you are stuck at reception until your transport to the airport arrives. They are very happy to take your money and treat you well during your stay but it ends after check out. If they catch you walking around without the bracelet provided during arrival you gonna get told off as if you were trespassing. Every other resort I've been they were happy to let you stay and chill out by the pool while waiting for your transport, you could even have snacks or some coffee as most of it goes to waste every day. A nice place but with a mediocre guest treatment.
Claudio C — Google review
The hotel overall was okay ( I guess it’s good for Brazilian standard) the beer was cold, friendly bartenders! Wine was very inferior quality, I had to constantly buy wine bottles from Coco Dende because I couldn’t even drink their “all inclusive” box wine. I was trying to get a cupcake so I could take pictures of my daughters first birthday, I called them and ordered, went to the front desk and reminded them, on the day that I needed the cake, they informed me that the cupcake was only going to be ready at 7pm! I did mentioned I had a photo shoot at 3pm!!! Typical miscommunication in brasil!!! Very kids friendly
Kiara B — Google review
A simple, yet wonderful resort. It's located on the coast, with a great view and access to the beach. The rooms are a bit simple, but nothing that would hider the stay. Reefs
This was a wonderful experience, not to be missed. Google Maps shows this as an island, but actually, this National Park is submerged. We booked the 4-hour excursion through an agency, and it included the boat ride, water and a light lunch, and snorkel-mask-footwear rental. The water was warm and it had a turquoise color; it was shallow, and not necessary to know how to swim. Gracefully floating on the water and breathing through the snorkel, gazing through your mask you observe a fairy-tale environment of colored coral and seaweed as you glide past. A guide describes (in Portuguese) highlights at first, and then glide through the brightly-colored environment filled with colorful fish like you might see in aquariums, and sea urchins, at your own pace. A highlight of my trip.

My experience at the Historic Center of Discovery was very enjoyable. I learned many interesting things and highly recommend visiting the place, as it appeals to everyone, regardless of age.

Weather wasn't great so my photos are all dark but the place is nice. If you love to shop then you'll love it as much as I did. Great chocolate and other delicacies and also clothes and souvenirs

Beautiful place, lovely people!! If you have some knee problem, might as well sit down on the grass when you're far from the restaurants, tho

Passarela do Descobrimento, also known as the Alcohol Catwalk, is a vibrant seafront promenade in Porto Seguro. Lined with palm trees and pastel-colored colonial buildings, it offers a lively nightlife and shopping experience. Visitors can explore an array of shops, restaurants, bars, and carts selling alcoholic beverages. The area is perfect for indulging in local cuisine and purchasing unique souvenirs.
During the day it is easy to admire the colorful buildings. After 18:00 there are a lot of market stalls which can make it a bit crowded. Plenty of restaurants and shops available

A must visit, attractive, colorful and joyful part of the town to visit, with many stores to spend on and buy artisanal gifts for yourself or loved ones! Filled with fun people, events, as well as some rather annoying salespeople but they are the staple of what Porto Seguro tourism is about however, they are easy to avoid when you know the routes and how to say no 😄.

The only thing there's to do in Porto Seguro at night. Lots of people walking, dining, drinking and strolling around looking at a 💯 stands of alcohol, chocolates, Bahian food and some live music. It continues to be very live until the bars near the sea. Good few hours before calling it a night.

Stunning colorful streets in the day that transform at night into a vibrant market with restaurants, street food, craft markets, street performers. There is so much energy and good vibes.

Totally reformulated. Now it's very convenient to eat, to buy stuff and to have fun.

Best prices and all the products that we found while traveling in Porto Seguro, Caraiva, and Arraial dAjuda.

A nice walk you can make around the city. It’s in between the sea and the shops. Around the evening it’s full of people and sellers. You should be careful with your belongings too. In conclusion, it’s beautiful way to see part of the culture of Porto Seguro.

(Translated by Google) This is a great place, open on Friday and Sunday nights. Buy a ticket and board the boat that takes you to the island. The aquariums are beautiful and there is a moment where divers enter the aquarium and get to be with the sharks. There are places that sell pastries and drinks. There are bands performing. Lots of fun.

(Translated by Google) Amazing place! I loved visiting the island. It has some large aquariums, a tank with sharks, fish and rays. It has two areas for dancing and a large main stage, all surrounded by trees and in total contact with nature. The only downside is the ferry crossing, which I didn't like. I didn't see adequate security and it was overcrowded on the way there and back. (Original) Lugar incrível! Amei visitar a ilha.
