Loved the place, clean and wonderful sand. Enjoyed the runs down and up the fresh sweet water of the river arriving to the sea

(Translated by Google) One of the most beautiful beaches in the region. It has a historical character, as it was the first beach in Brazil. The bars along the shore are all excellent. I went to Restaurante da Glória. I found the prices to be more expensive, but that's understandable, as it's quite isolated. Don't forget to go kayaking in the mangroves, where the water is very warm and dark. To get there from Corumbau, you need to take a boat (R$20 per person) if the tide is high. There is parking.

(Translated by Google) WONDERFUL place, the hardships of the road are worth it haha. Clean, quiet beach, great for going with kids. Wonderful food and I even found the prices affordable, considering how difficult it is to get there. It's totally worth it... Cumuru definitely won my heart and Barra do Cahy, one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, I'd even go as far as to say the most beautiful 😍 (Original) Lugar MARAVILHOSO, os perrengues da estrada valem a pena haha.

(Translated by Google) I'm in love with Barra do Cahy. For those who want to relax by the river, it's perfect, and for those who like to sit in kiosks, the two on the beach are delightful. Don't go to Corumbau or Cumuruxatiba without visiting it.

(Translated by Google) Best beach in the area!! If you can stay closer, you won't regret it. Impeccable facilities! Being further from the center, it's very quiet and empty. It's paradise! Saltwater and freshwater. BEST BEACH I'VE EVER BEEN TO. We stayed at the Manzuko restaurant. We received excellent service. The food is sooo good. We went there three days in a row and already felt right at home, lol. Ficamos no restaurante Manzuko. Fomos super bem atendidos. A comida é muuuito boa.

Praia de Cumuruxatiba, also known as Praia do Pier, is a stunning destination with a tree-lined golden-sand shoreline that's perfect for swimming and leisurely walks. This place it's amazing if you're looking dia a place to rest and relax. But the roads to get there it in really bad conditions, take care of its your time. Beach its quiet and very low waves which is suitable for kids.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful beach. The town's main attraction is the inns and beachfront restaurants. There is a small square that opens at night with several stalls and a restaurant for snacks. Excellent beach for children, the elderly and those who don't like waves. There are SUP and kayak rentals. There is a fishing village nearby. The stalls are more expensive than the others in Prado. I recommend Binotto's, where the food is very good. I left Prado about 35 km away, which was a little rainy, and took 1 hour and 30 minutes. The road was made of sand due to the rain, and it was a bit tense because it was very muddy and full of potholes. If it rains, think twice about going. It passes by several beaches. There are some beautiful cliffs to take pictures of, including Praia da Amendoeira, which is fantastic. It is worth the stop. (Original) Praia linda. Vale a pena a parada.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, the haphazard occupation of the riverbanks that run through the village has brought a lot of sewage, noticeable in the 'smell' emanating from them. But it's a beautiful beach.

(Translated by Google) Very quiet beach, with clearer waters than in Prado. Access by road is not good, so people with low-lying cars will have a hard time. However, if you are in a good mood and not in a hurry, it is an excellent place to visit.

Praia Novo Prado

Beach
Nature & Parks
The Praia Novo Prado is a vast and spacious beach with powerful waves that vary depending on the day. It is not heavily crowded, which adds to its appeal. The beach itself is exceptionally beautiful and well-maintained. However, there is a section of the beach that has been taken over by affluent individuals who have built inns and houses along the shoreline, making it appear "private" and exclusive.

Abrolhos Marine National Park

National park
Nature & Parks
Parks
Abrolhos Marine National Park is a stunning destination that showcases the breathtaking beauty of marine life and vibrant ecosystems. This protected area features five islands surrounded by crystal-clear waters, making it an ideal spot for diving and whale watching. Visitors often rave about the friendly fish that seem unafraid of humans, creating perfect opportunities for underwater photography. While access can be tricky—especially if you're navigating with your own boat—the park rangers are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, enhancing your experience.
Beautiful marine park, the fish have no fear of humans and for photography it 's great. Access is a bit complicated and if you go with your own boat you are restricted to where you can stop and access to islands is off limits but the park rangers came out to meet us, were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and spoke various languages. Worth a visit!

(Translated by Google) Beautiful❤️Wonderful😍 But we couldn't disembark because the tide wasn't right. I really wanted to step on the island too. We were in the water and on the boat for 2:30. 4 hours to get there and another 4 hours to get back. Full day 😁 My suggestion is not to buy this tour together with the accommodation. Leave it to settle there. The price is on average 320.00 with breakfast, lunch and snack. But the weather is very important for this adventure. Visitors are only allowed to disembark on Siriba Island. I only stayed for the photo very far from the island 🌴 😖😎😫. Wonderful diving! But for those who want to see whales 🐋 check the calendar👍🏽. It's not all year round.

Itaúnas dunes, located within the 36.7-sq-km Parque Estadual de Itaunas, offer a stunning natural experience with its expansive sand dunes that reach heights of 20m to 30m and provide breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding mangrove forest. The park is home to diverse wildlife including monkeys, sloths, wildcats, and sea turtles nesting from September to March.
Calm, safe, beautiful views and good vibes!

Such a wonderful natural place of beauty! To get to the beaches/restaurants, you have to go up a little hill of sand (through an opening off the main street) and then decend down and walk a little towards the direction of the water. On your way to the beaches, you will see a plaque describing the history of the old "vilas of Itaunas" and this sandy desert place is magical to take photos in. There is a choice of a few different cabanas or restaurants to hang out it, the food/drinks will be pricier than usual since this place is an attraction but it's nice to have this change of scenery not far for Vitória city center, so you get the city vibe as well as the nature retreat.

National Institute of the Atlantic Forest

The National Institute of the Atlantic Forest in Santa Teresa offers a serene location with hummingbird feeders as its main attraction. Visitors can observe about 8 different species of hummingbirds up close, without any disturbance while capturing photographs. Additionally, there is a family of Atlantic Titi monkeys residing in the park. Although the female monkey passed away recently, guests can still enjoy their presence. The park also features exhibition rooms and a greenhouse for visitors to explore.
A quite place in the middle of Santa Teresa! The main attraction for us were the hummingbird feeders at the far end of the park. A lot of hummingbirds of about 8 different species. They don't bother if you get close to take pictures. But there is also a family of Atlantic Titi (monkey) around, although the female died a few months ago. You can also visit exhibition rooms, a greenhouse etc. The entrance to the park was free.

Perched atop the Morro da Penha, Convento da Penha is a 16th-century mountaintop convent with stunning city views and a rich history. Founded in 1558, it features a religious museum and hosts community events. The construction of the convent began in 1639 and was completed over time, with contributions from devoted individuals, indigenous people, and African slaves.
You have an option to walk up the hill, drive your own car, or use a tourist bus. It's a long way up.

Convento da Penha in Vila Velha is a truly magical place! Perched on top of a hill, the views from the convent are absolutely breathtaking, offering a panoramic look over the city and the coastline. The peaceful atmosphere, rich history, and beautiful colonial architecture make it a perfect spot for reflection and admiration. The walk up is worth every step, and the surrounding nature adds even more charm. Whether you’re visiting for spiritual reasons or sightseeing, this iconic landmark is a must-see in Espírito Santo.
Arto L — Google review
I visited the Convento da Penha with my students on a field class: the experience was unforgettable. We chose to walk up the historic stone path, retracing the steps of countless pilgrims over the centuries. The climb itself is part of the experience — surrounded by nature, history, and silence; it feels like a journey back in time. I found the symbolic meaning of the ascent deeply inspiring and, once at the top, the view and the atmosphere make it all worthwhile. A must-see landmark for those interested in culture, history, and spirituality. I recommend going up the penitence road and going down the common path.
Francis R — Google review
Excellent views of Vitoria from the top. There is a a small shuttle service that takes you up to the base of the Convent (please note it’s a little extra on your ticket price but it is still very cheap). For those who like to walk it’s a decent mini hike uphill via the same road the shuttle goes. They have toilets at the top as well.
Sanjay J — Google review
The Penha Convent's viewpoint is beautiful, offering incredible views of Vitória and Vila Velha. Access from Vitória is via a small boat that leaves from the Aquaviário Terminal in Praça do Papa (Papa Square) and is very inexpensive (less than R$5). The trip to Prainha Park is very quick. From the terminal, walk to Vasco Coutinho Street, to the Penha Convent entrance. You can walk, take a van, or take a "jardineira" (bus) to the convent. From the foot of the convent, there's a ramp up; then there are many stairs. But it's worth it, as the view is wonderful. The Nossa Senhora da Penha Church is small but very beautiful.
Doris F — Google review
Lovely cluster of religious buildings at the top of the hill in Vila Velha. Check the closing times for the day you are going and give yourself plenty of time for the convent and surrounding viewpoints. The panoramic views are stunning and the walk down from the convent is like walking through a (well paved) jungle. There is a minibus service from the entrance to the top if you want to avoid the climb. Definitely go see it when visiting Vitória.
Jordan — Google review
I have visited the Convento da Penha 3 times. This place holds a lot of history, mostly religious, but the view is breathtaking. You will be able to see the famous 3th Bridge and part of Ilha do Boi ( Island) and the Porto Tubarao. Also parte of Vila Velha and vitoria downtown. People are very friendly, and you can walk up to the Convento or have private ground transportation for R$ 6 reais, which is about $1:50 dollars.
Lilly S — Google review
A very beautiful view of both cities Vitoria and Vila Velha. We opted to go up there by walking, but you can go by car. The convent is on top of a mountain and it is surrounded by the Atlantic Forest. The view from up there is amazing. I do recommend it.

Just driving to this area is worth it. We took the 2.5 hour route leaving BR-101 from Fundão, then Santa Teresa, Santa Maria de Jetibá, Garrafão, before reaching Aracê. Beautiful route. To top it off, the even more beautiful Pedra Azul. We drove to the entrance of the park. Quite touristy and busy. Most people stay here for some photos and a visit to the restaurant and shop. Luckily so. Although right of the restaurant it stated that all trails were closed for the day since maximum of 150 persons was sold out, you can still walk about 1.5km up the mountain to the Park Rangers post. Only there the trails actually start that were limited access with permit. That first walk is highly recommended and easy to do for all, although flat shoes with profile is recommended. There is also a small beautiful cherry tree park just below the post that you can visit.

Morro Beach is one of the most popular beaches in California with its long, wide stretch of fine sand and vendors of all kinds. It's a great place to take a shower, sunbathe and sea bath, as well as take children and family. There are many parking lots and restaurants scattered along the edge of the beach.
#friyayvibes in the most beautiful and most frequented beach in @guaraparies with a lot of people in the night and i need to confess you that @praiadomorro is one the most calmest places to chill yourself. If you are looking for a not quite like like a Rio copacobana experience, but in a save family environment, were nobody will ask you to explore the yield of your wallet, that is the place to be. The beach takes 40 min to walk from one end to the other (to make it back, do the math) developments to the left (looking out to the Atlantic) are fancier. Great place to relax, the beach is calm, and nicely cleaned every evening. I enjoyed the new year fireworks followed by what seemed to be an endless party without a visible deminishing number of partying folks until I hit the pillow at about 4:30. Great family beach close to Victoria. If you want to be on a lonely beach, go way south where the natives freeze to death when tipping their toe (Praia do Rosa). I enjoyed my stay at Praia do Morro....
