I visited this place to get acquainted with the culture of Buddhism. It was a wonderful experience, people are friendly and will gladly show and explain everything, the building and the territory are very beautiful and well maintained. Very quiet, calm and spiritually and mentally ... Free parking, and next to a huge beautiful green park with a pond in which there are many turtles. Bought some Chinese souvenirs and incense from a local shop.
Tatiana K — Google review
I was able to visit the temple last Sunday with friends, and I must say that it was such a stellar place! It is not hard to navigate, everything can be found rather easily. The lake they have there is lovely, having fish and turtles that were easy to see. We saw some colourful birds, and the bridge over the lake was a cool feature. There are vivid, colourful landscapes to be seen. The statues remind you that you are not in an ordinary place. The temple itself and its surroundings are nothing like the architecture we see in this country, so it draws your eyes to the roofs, walls, doors, finishings and more. There were people ready to provide useful information. There was some sort of celebration going on, and it was interesting to see. This is definitely a great place to visit even if you are not a religious individual, as the temple is absolutely stunning!

I truly had a memorable day here, filled with joy and discovery. The blend of sport, leisure, and art offered a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me feel nice. Don't miss the Biennale; it's a cool experience. Take a leisurely jog among the locals and relax by sipping fresh coconut milk straight from its shell—simple moments that can bring so much joy.
Máté S — Google review
Largest park in the city, it has nice roads for running and walking along with bicycle lines. It has a lake with River with plenty of grass areas to just sit and relax. We enjoyed it in a sunny day on Sunday and lots of people go to exercise and work out. Lots of local people just enjoying with their families Park has plenty of small stores to get snacks, water and natural coconut water which is great, however did not see a larger restaurant to get meals, just mobile spots for quick grab and go. There are public bathroom but can get crowded Green areas and well maintained although they could be better, trees are mostly tropical. There is a museum, planetary and Japanese site but did not go to those.

This park is right in the center of the city—almost like São Paulo’s own version of New York’s Central Park. It’s a very large green area with beautiful walking paths, lakes, cafés, and several museums. There are always many people around enjoying the space: jogging, biking, relaxing, or having picnics. We loved the atmosphere and how lively yet peaceful it felt. A perfect spot to spend time outdoors in the heart of the city.
Alper Y — Google review
It’s an absolute pleasure to walk in this park but keep in mind it’s huge. Plenty of cafes and shops to buy a fresh coconut or any other drinks, lots of bench’s to sit and relax or just watch people performing different instruments in the nature. I saw a lot of families spending time here with kids or having a meal. Definetly worth walking around

I have to say this is one of the best parks I've ever been to. From coconut water stands, to acai spots, and great running tracks. A great place for grounding in a concrete jungle.

Beautiful park with plenty to do. There are vendors selling coconuts everywhere, so it’s the perfect drink to enjoy while taking in the nature. Afro-Brazil Museum and Japan Pavilion are worth visiting. I felt perfectly safe walking around the park alone during the daytime.

Paulista: The Heartbeat of São Paulo The most famous avenue in São Paulo vibrant, lively, and full of energy all day long. It’s lined with offices, cafés, museums, and street performers. Landmarks like MASP, Japan House, and Casa das Rosas are must-sees. On Sundays, the avenue closes to traffic and turns into a street festival of music, dance, and art. Even on weekdays, it never loses its rhythm. Between the tall buildings, you’ll also notice people living in tents a quiet reminder of the city’s social contrasts. Take a day to walk, listen, and observe. To understand São Paulo, start with Paulista. 🌿#PaulistaAvenue #SãoPaulo #TravelBrazil

Art museum
The Pinacoteca de São Paulo stands as a testament to Brazil's rich artistic heritage, making it one of the country's oldest and most significant art museums. Nestled in a stunning neoclassical structure originally designed for the School of Arts and Crafts, this museum showcases an impressive collection that ranges from 19th-century Brazilian paintings and sculptures to contemporary works. Its history is intertwined with various historical events, including conflicts in the early 20th century, which adds depth to its narrative.
Beautiful art museum! Museum has 3 levels, there is also a balcony on the front and back of the building on the 3rd level that has a nice view of the street and in the back a nice view of the park. I would make sure that if you are outside in the street don’t stay for long or take your phone out at all. There are many many homeless people in the area that steal from people regularly.
Brandon H — Google review
Definitely worth paying R30 for this museum as it has so many exhibitions and they were all amazing! The exhibitions were also in English and made it so much easier for us to enjoy! The ticket also includes the contemporary art in another building. We ended up spending over 2 hours here but could’ve easily spend half a day here. Highly recommend this to everyone!
James P — Google review
I enjoyed this art museum. It has a nice mix of old art and contemporary art. The only artist I actually knew about before visiting is a Rodin statue. But it was fun to learn more about Brazilian artists. I was hoping to visit some other art museums but all the other museums were closed on Monday...But the Pinacoteca was open! They get an extra star just for being open on the day I was in town. The gardens around the museum are beautiful and peaceful. But the restaurant had a long line so I did not get to eat there.
Daniel K — Google review
I loved this gallery. The exhibits are diverse, well curated, and educational for those new to Brazilian artists. There’s a cafe and shop worthy of stops, too. Highly recommend!

This is a fascinating house with many rooms of art by different artists. The ladscaping breathtaking and the day i was there live music and artistic acts. Right across the street from the famous Luz station
Paul C — Google review
One of the most beautiful museums I've been to. They have a great selection of pieces, with differing mediums, the space is clean and comfortable. The main entry goes thru a sunroom with super high glass ceilings, currently showing pieces done with wood, so you can smell the sap being warned by the sun. The staff was friendly and kind, very helpful and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. The pieces being showcased are very well selected, I think. And the infrastructure is beautiful.

The Mercado Municipal Paulistano, also known as Mercadao, is a historic market located in the old city center of Centro. Built in the 1930s, this magnificent market hall features skylights and stained-glass windows and is bustling with vendors offering rare fruits, vegetables, dairy produce, meat, fish, and more.
Interesting experience and many options to try and choose from. Just know that when they offer you samples, you will end up buying stuff and they don’t give you the price until they already wrapped and bagged things. You’ll end up paying 60 USD for 4 piece of fruit, which you can find in typical stores for 10 dollars.
Parihan R — Google review
This is a well-organized and clean market that offers a wide range of goods—from preserved meats, fresh fish, and spices to nuts and other local products. While it seems to have become more of a tourist attraction than a place locals frequent for daily shopping, it’s still worth a visit. The second floor has sit-down restaurants, making it a good spot to take a break and enjoy a proper meal. Prices are reasonable overall. One of the highlights here is the famous mortadella sandwich—a must-try if you’re visiting for the first time. Overall, a nice place to explore local flavors and pick up a few souvenirs or snacks. Just expect a more tourist-oriented vibe.
Andrew G — Google review
Landed in São Paulo after a red eye so we needed to stay awake so we could sleep tonight…dropped off bags, showered, and headed to the market, one of my absolute favorite places in SP! Our driver took great care of us as he guided us to a friend working a fruit stall where we ate our fill in samples of some of the best tasting fruit you’ll ever try…Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Yellow Avocado, Jack Fruit, Strawberries wrapped in dates, zero filter on that 🍊orange slice it was amazing! Got some dehydrated provolone discs and cubes of Parmesan…could spend hours in this market…a must stop when you come up São Paulo 🙌🏽
Eugene J — Google review
An incredible place to discover local and international exotic fruits and vegetables, meat vendors, pubs, bars, restaurants and much much more. A lively and bustling vibe. The only precaution, rather don't walk to this destination. Take a bus, taxi or Uber which takes you directly to this market.
Ele V — Google review
We came here close to the closing time but we still manage to grant our sandwich. The main reason we came to this market was to try this sandwich and it did not disappoint. The market itself has a lot of stalls, with nuts, fish, fruit, cheese and charcuterie and places to sit down and eat and drink. It's a nice stop if you are in the area.
Ana C — Google review
Not quite authentic. Lots of replication of stalls and restaurants. But it was a great mix of fruit, meats, seafood, wine bars, and restaurants. It's very clean and has a great energy. Maybe avoid the folks offering free samples but do try the cod pastel and the mortadela sandwiches. It just sit down for a glass of wine.
Gabriel B — Google review
Amazing place to shop for meat, cheese, olives, peanuts, sweets, fruit and also includes large restaurants that you can get the Mortadella Sandwich. Boca’s was the best place for Pastels (they actually fill them full and are overflowing with meat. The Maine sandwich shop (called Maine) was the best for Mortadellas. Be aware that the sales in this market are very aggressive and pushy. They will practically cut fruit and put it in your mouth as samples. The restaurants will practically hold your hand to seat you so that you order food. Didn’t bother me and all you need to do is stand your ground. One American to another 🇺🇸 😉
Sammy S — Google review
Be careful! The place is beautiful and historic, but the fruit vendors take advantage of tourists. I was asking about the price of the fruit, they gave me several to try, and then they charged me a lot of money for just a few pieces. Since they were "local" fruits, I thought the price would be a bit more expensive, but it turned out they were ripping people off. DON'T TRUST THEM. It was a horrible experience to not feel safe. I wasn't bargaining or denying to pay the correct price and yet they took advantage. My worst experience in SP.

The ride offers a glimpse into the city's past and creates an open-air museum experience for tourists. Despite being in Portuguese, the tour is still worth it for its unique perspective on the old town of Santos.

All old towns have trams :D Whether it's in Europe or Brazil. It is very nice to see an old tram in such nice condition. Together with the buildings surrounding it, it is a beautiful example of the old town of Santos. Being there, you can feel the atmosphere of the past. You can also feel like in Europe, but unfortunately there such cultural values are neglected and often replaced by modernity. It is a good starting point for exploring the old town of Santos.

Very nice the little trip. Recommended. I've already done it twice. I only missed the cafeteria this time.

Cool little train ride through the historic center of Santos. Unfortunately all information provided is in Portuguese. Still worth it for 7 reais! The ride takes about 15 minutes and drops you off again where you started. There’s vendors of artisanal craft, food and beverages next to that point.

This would actually be much more enjoyable any day other than Sunday. On Sunday everything is closed.

Santos is one of the oldest Brazilian cities and the Touristic Tram is a good opportunity to know more about Santos and it’s history on board of the trams builded in 1922 and 1911.
Paula L — Google review
The train itself is very nice but the tour is very short and not very interesting. The buildings at that part of Santos are in need of restoration as most of them are derelict. A shame as it was a beautiful area one day.

Museu do Café

History Museums
Specialty Museums
Museu do Café, located in the historic Coffee Exchange building in Downtown Santos, offers a captivating journey through the history of Brazilian coffee. The museum showcases the significance of coffee to Brazil's economy and provides insights into the quality of coffee beans produced in the country. Visitors can explore exhibits on the history of coffee trading and even participate in barista classes. The grandiose architecture adds to the allure of this museum, making it a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
A fun stop for any java enthusiast — you can learn how the coffee trade shaped Brazil’s history and then enjoy the caffeinated flow of good joe in the café. The interior is well preserved, and the main bidding hall is particularly interesting, both for its beautiful design and its exhibitions chronicling the decades of auctions held at the exchange.
Path F — Google review
The Museo del Café is more than just a stop for a caffeine fix—it’s an experience that wraps history, aroma, and flavor into one visit. You step inside and the scent of freshly roasted beans hits you first, warm and inviting. Then you notice the space itself—walls lined with vintage grinders, old roasting drums, and photographs that tell the story of coffee from its roots to your cup. The museum side walks you through every stage: planting, harvesting, drying, roasting, brewing. You get to see the tools and traditions behind the process, not just the polished final product. It’s the kind of place that makes you appreciate your morning cup in a whole new way. And then there’s the café—cozy tables, natural light, and staff who clearly care about the craft. The coffee is exceptional: rich, full-bodied, with layers of flavor that unfold as it cools. If you’re hungry, their breakfast and pastry options are worth it too—simple, fresh, and made to complement the coffee rather than overshadow it. What really stands out is how relaxed the whole experience feels. You can wander through the exhibits at your own pace, sit for a cup, or just watch the baristas work. It’s the kind of place where you could spend an hour and feel like you’ve both learned something and taken a little break from the rush outside.

I enjoyed the stories on history of coffee and coffee industry in Brazil. The building itself was once in 19th century the coffee exchange office of Santos and still today has amazing good vibe. Some of the art presentations are very interesting - like the coffee mugs flowing out of a cupboard that could be relate to coffee bean being poured out of a sack.
Tt_ H — Google review
Free on Saturday, definitely not worth paying for this in my opinion. The upper floor is hidden away but has maps and history to see, the entire museum you could see in 30 minutes if you dont engage in coffee tasting.
Levi W — Google review
The museum tells the history of coffee in São Paulo state and Brazil, the exhibit is great, it has everything in English, and the building is beautiful. The museum also has a very nice coffee shop serving good coffee and cakes.
Barbara S — Google review
A journey through time! The building inside is beautiful and the architecture is wonderful. Very interesting place, for those who love coffee! It has a cafeteria that serves a brewed coffee that is delicious! ❤ I went in Dec / 20 and on the outside it is covered in renovation, not being able to take photos. In the surroundings there are beautiful buildings that are worth the scenery. The museum itself is fine. The monument is beautiful and, although it is not as interesting a visit in the city as the Aquarium or the Sacred Art Museum, it is worth it. The problem is, ironically, as another comment pointed out, in the cafe. I have the costume of drinking coffees of various types and expected much more from the place. Do not go to the cafeteria because you calculate expensive for ordinary coffees prepared in an ordinary way. If you ask for the museum's iced coffee with milk - which now costs R $ 18.00 and is one of the cheapest items in the establishment - you will leave with the impression that your homemade coffee with a little milk and ice would have came out tastier. Again, go to the museum, don't go to the cafeteria.
Anderson P — Google review
A nice building which is located near Pele Museum. There is a small admission fee. There are lockers where you need to put your bag in and it has a small cafe on the ground floor. Very detailed history on Brazilian coffee, educational with lots of information
Grace L — Google review
Great museum to learn about the farming and processing of coffee beans and extensive history related to coffee. The building is beautiful and there’s also information about the architecture and its origins. All of the information on the walls/signs is displayed in Portuguese but there’s large cards with all the same information in Spanish/English available too. Very informative! Entry was 10 reais.

Magic City is a vibrant water park that promises an exhilarating day filled with adventure and excitement. With its colorful twisting slides, splash pools, and family-friendly rides, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Thrill-seekers can take on the Nitro-x ride or zip line across the park for an extra rush! The attention to detail in the park's design adds a charming touch, making it visually appealing as well.

Not tourist friendly. Staff can’t speak any word English. On the site there is a price at 40, but on arrival they double it. When we wanted to order online the website did not work. Then the cashier Said we could not enter because it will rain soon. After multiple times asking we could go in, but lost apxm one hour at entrance! Locker costs 25Rs

We went to stay two nights and left after lunch on the first day. The place looks nothing like the photos on the website. It was dirty, blankets from last century, food served was dry and very little variety. The way it was served was with a lack of interest as was the general feeling of all the park. A real pity for our 10 year olds birthday surprise
Christopher M — Google review
The food seemed reasonable to me. Espatinhos, mini pizzas, and pastéis were all R$7 and were as good quality as you would find in any Festa Junina. The pastel was even big. The baru was particularly good. The park was very cute. It was obvious they paid attention to the small details. The rides were a lot of fun, especially the Nitro-x and the other ride right next to it (that one was maybe even better!) We spent about 7 hours there and didn't even do everything. It could be worth it to stay the night at the Posada and spend the whole weekend there.

Nestled at the eastern tip of Santo Amaro Island, Praia Branca is a stunning beach that offers a unique blend of natural beauty and rustic charm. Accessing Praia Branca can be an adventure in itself; visitors can either embark on a scenic 30 to 40-minute hike through well-marked trails or arrive by boat.
Beautiful beach ⛱️🏖️ I visited there on New Year 2025. Lots of people were there. The beach was beautiful. There was also a boat that you could rent to bring you to another beach. There are various small restaurants there that they served baked fish 🐠. I suggest to visit there.

Beautiful beach and quite secluded. We rented an airbnb and there are posadas on the beach but it's also convenient to camp there. The best part is that it is a very non tourist area except around new years eve when the beach gets full. WiFi reception is not so good but it adds to the charm of this place. There is one main restaurant but a few local ones that are quieter and much better, in terms of service and food quality. Overall just a great place to vacation!

Trilha da Pedra Redonda is a relatively easy hiking trail that starts at the end of Av. das Montanhas or can be reached from the Plato trail. It takes about an hour to complete and offers a tranquil experience through lush greenery. The trail leads to a 1990m rounded peak, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Hikers are advised to wear comfortable clothes and sneakers, bring water, and apply sunscreen due to windy conditions on the rocks and intense sun exposure.

(Translated by Google) Without a doubt, the best trail in Monte Verde. The area is very well maintained by private initiative, with excellent upkeep, clear signage, security, and guidance before the start of the trail, making the entrance fee worthwhile. It's the most suitable option for families, especially older people and children, as the route is easy and accessible. The Platô trail, while very beautiful, is much steeper, more rugged, and longer, requiring physical preparation and extra attention. I recommend both, but each is suited to a different type of visitor and fitness level.

While it may not be the most budget-friendly for international visitors due to higher prices compared to the U.S., it's still an enjoyable place to explore without making big purchases.

Nice shopping mall, with a bit of everything. Very big food plaza, with lots of options to choose from, the most famous places are in there. You can find a super market as well as a construction or home renovation store. You arcade gaming. They also have a cinema with lots of options of movie to pick. Lots of places to park your car and sometimes they'll have events happening at the car park.
Bruno S — Google review
It's very basic, it's a simple place full of low budget stores. The cinemas are great, but 99% of the movies shown are dubbed in Portuguese. The bowling alley is nice, great place to eat.
Luis C — Google review
Very organized shopping center with ample parking space. There is a good variety of quality products, a movie theater, and restaurants. The prices are typically more elevated but this is a general rule in shopping centers/malls in Brazil.
Nassim D — Google review
I'm a tourist from the U.S and one of my favorite things to do is to see the difference between malls in different countries. Let's just say Brazilian malls are one of my new favorites. I wasn't there to buy anything so I enjoyed just looking around, however, if you were going to buy something it's not very cheap. Example: a Maybelline mascara costs 80 Reais which, for an American, would be $20.00. I would economize, look around, and maybe buy something small, but don't go there for a shopping spree. The food court is great with several options, but, again, the prices and portions are wild for me as a foreigner. Overall, the mall is pretty and clean and I would come here again just to see the different stores.
Larissa M — Google review
A not so huge space. A congested environment during weekend. Just like other malls the ambience is the same and restaurants as usual are crowded. No English speaking guide and Walmart in it is the added advantage. Walmart is not so big as we normally see but a good place for a one stop shop
Ansari S — Google review
I only didn't give it a 5 star because of it's Pet Policy. Like in many other malls in Brazil pets are allowed in, but in this one you have to carry them on your lap. It is also forbidden to leave your pet at the entrance like many other places allow you to. So, if your pet is a lil fatty like mine, choose a different place to go to. Appart from that, very best mall in town.

Another tourist attraction in Campos de Jordão and one of the best for sure. A small waterfall with walking areas and platforms designed to get the best picture possible. Lots of small shops and restaurants around as well as tourism buses departing and arriving here. Beautiful view in a place that could get potential to be better. We climbed to the elephant's hill using the scared cable car, I believe its was created with the city and never modernized. My husband, who is Canadian, liked the experience more than I did. He was scared but he found excited at the same time. I think that because I have already been to Campos do Jordão several times, I think at this point the city, which seems to be very rich looking at the hotels in the area and people who frequent it, should have already renovated that a long time ago and have made something much better and more attractive, as the other countries that have mountains for Ski. I think don’t need to be exactly the same, but Mount Tremblant in Quebec also has a small area up hill and its not so fancy, but little more attractive and safe. Anyway, the view is very beautiful and we can see the whole city, mountains and part of the other surrounding regions. When we get up there again, the attractions could be much more elaborate and modernized giving opportunity to locals to get better jobs, show a nicer view and give to the city, locals and visitors a better structure. I think the place with elephants is a good idea, especially for children, but they could modernize it and charge a little for the entrance to maintain the place. They also could make a kind of a little mall where people could expose their crafts making their products more attractive and a nice cafe or restaurant with a lookout ... Anyway, use a little of the American style of exposing your business, which could be better for everybody. If I had money to invest, that unfortunately is not the case at the moment, I would probably organize people and get that changed for the benefit of all city and visitors. Grade: Eli = 3, Serge = 3 Recommend: It’s worth for the Mountain View.

Accessed by boat or trail, this stunning, remote beach is known for water sports & panoramic views.
It was very beautiful, with more strong waves. Quick Tip: Carry Citroilha for those insects.

Beautiful beach on top Of an island called Ilhabela. However, beware that there are highly infectious mosquitoes by the name of barrachudos that might end with the paradise
Sofía O — Google review
An overrated and oversold beach. It is not worth the challenging and expensive trip in an SUV. It is just ordinary. Has millions of flies and bugs that can resist repellents. The sea is not swimmable.

This is a wonderful beach. Beautiful views and plenty of places to relax. There was also numerous restaurant options. Towards the South end of the beach there is a great overlook perfect for pictures. My wife and I especially enjoyed renting body boards and enjoying the large waves. This will be the highlight of our trip and made us feel like kids again.

So beautiful but BRING INSECT REPELLENT AND REAPPLY OFTEN. I was bitten over 50 times (honestly I counted) in the 15 minutes between swimming and eating when I reapplied repellent. All of the group had allergic reactions and were ill. It's incredibly beautiful and fun to swim and explore but be careful of the swarming mosquitoes.

Beautiful park with many exotic and local trees. One of the last safe haven for Brazilian Pine (Araucaria)
Guilherme S — Google review
A nice park to walk around. There are several short hikes. We really enjoyed Trilha dos campos (3km), which takes you up to good views and also winds along the river for a stretch. The trail to the waterfall was much more crowded and more of a road than a trail. Overall, the park itself was very crowded excepting Trilha dos Campos. It is possible to access by bus or uber and you do have to pay to enter.

Four stars for the capybaras only. The “Lagos” were dirty ponds and every attraction offered was serious $$$$.

Beautiful place, very well conserved with detailed maintainance. The park is an environmental reserve. Activities: there are trails with different kinds of difficulty and length. There are food trucks during the peak of the season, however there are two places that serves food all year. There are activities for children too and playgrounds. There is bike rent and a shop with handcrafted materials made of wood.

Considered the second biggest Catholic Temple of the world (after San Pedro Temple in Vatican) and the biggest in Brazil. Beautiful religious place with plenty of infrastructure to accommodate faithful from all places and renew their vows
Claudio T — Google review
It was bigger than o ever imagined. It’s like an entire city, it takes hours to walk around and be able to appreciate every detail. Lots of stores inside and restaurants. With the Covid-19 restrictions, we couldn’t see more of the inside details but it was worth it. They have mass every hour and multiple locations as well. I loved it. Perfect to buy gifts and there more attractions outside the Basilica as well. The entire city is filled with attractions and even the cities nearby.

This should be included in the must visit places in Brazil. The cathedral is huge and very beautiful. The dome ia decorated with paintings of Brazilian fauna. The sacred image of the Holly Mary, which was found by locals and is attributed to several miracles, is exposed there. The energy of this place is hard to describe.

The parish priest tried to prevent a large flock of faithful to pray the Holy Rosary in front of the church. This had been announced days in advance. Instead he purposely rang all of the church bells, to make so much noise that nobody could understand a word - it was a wonderful experience to pray the Holy Rosary under such circumstance, against the orders of the pastor! *Shame on this parish pastor!*

Nestled in the stunning coastal town of Ubatuba, the Ubatuba Aquarium is a delightful blend of indoor and outdoor experiences that showcases an impressive array of local marine life. Established by a passionate group of oceanographers in 1994, this aquarium features around 70 species across its various enclosures, including Brazil's largest saltwater tank. Visitors can marvel at fascinating creatures like crabs, octopuses, sharks, and even Magellanic penguins from Patagonia.

This aquarium is an excellent opportunity to make a immersion into the beauty and miseries of the sea, this place is prepared for a huge crowd of adults and kids enjoying multiple attractions, it is recomended to buy tickets online in advance to have a quick access to the place, also check the estimated time for some scheduled activities, like feeding the penguins, so you can have the best experience possible here, very recommended
Renner P — Google review
It was smaller than I've been to other places, but close and intimate. Probably crowded I peak season, but July it was perfect. Some signs had English but not all.
Mac S — Google review
Very nice manageable size for children. We saw species we'd never seen before and there is a beautiful shell collection. The tide exhibit was fun. The petting pool was a new experience too. There's a nicely decorated cafe (we got a free coffee with a family ticket) overlooking a play area outside on the promenade. The recycling exhibit was overly sombre at the end of the tour.
Rachel C — Google review
The visit is very pleasant and the path is interesting with posters and exhibitions. The place is not very big but there are spectacular types of marine animals. I suggest to avoid peak time as it could be stressing waiting in the queue. Near the exit, you can touch a number of live examples like the star fish, pepino do mar, etc. There is a small restaurant inside, which can also serve people not in the aquarium from the side overlooking the beach.

Hiking trail to Cachadaço Natural Pool

The hiking trail to Cachadaço Natural Pool in Trindade Village offers a serene and clean natural swimming experience among colorful fishes. The medium difficulty trail is well-marked with steps, handrails, and boardwalks over swampy areas. Accessible from the beach, the 30-minute walk is suitable for most visitors, although closed-toe shoes are recommended. For those seeking an alternative to the trail, boat transport is available for a fee.
(Translated by Google) Super easy trail! Even kids can do it. From this point on, it's a 15 to 20 minute walk, with some ups and downs to the natural pools. The trail starts at the end of Cachadaço beach. You can go by boat from Praia do Meio, I think it's R$40/50 round trip. You can go by trail and return by boat (R$20/30). (Original) Trilha super tranquila!
Anderson ( — Google review
From the end of last beach to the natural pool I walked 25 minutes one way (walking quickly but with flipflops on a really muddy ground). Easy to find, but not for a "beach stroll" - my friends returned halfway without visiting the pool. There are boats waiting in case you want to return by taxi boat.
Hahaha H — Google review
(Translated by Google) The trail will take you between 20 and 25 minutes. There are spots where you can stop to take photos and videos of the breathtaking scenery! In the natural pool area, which is a place where several huge rocks have gathered and the sea water gathers, meaning the water there is salty, forming a pool. No waves, no currents. Calm water, like a swimming pool, for you to enjoy. You'll see lots of fish swimming near you. It's totally worth it! For those who don't want to do the trail, because there are a lot of stairs, on the middle beach you can pay a man who stays there just for that purpose, with a boat, to take you there and bring you back. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the last time I went it was 50.00 round trip. You can also pay just to go, for example, and return by the trail. Then he'll only charge half.

(Translated by Google) The trail is full of incredible views. It is an easy/moderate trail, but it can be very dangerous if it has rained. I do not recommend it for seniors who are not used to exercising. There are points where we go up and down slopes, and it can be tiring. It is a trail of about 1.5 km (including the walk to the beach). But in the end, it is worth it. The natural pool is wonderful, shallow water for swimming and there are beautiful fish. (Translated by Google) The trail is simply spectacular, with incredible views, preserved vegetation and a medium level of difficulty. Some sections are very slippery during the rainy season. It takes between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on the speed and agility of each person, as well as the flow of people in the area. The trail is a fundamental part of the experience for those who want to see the pools. I took a boat trip back (5 minutes), more for the experience of crossing the water. The pool is incredible, with many colorful fish. The water is cold and the landscape is sensational. I went in January and there were a lot of people, which made the water cloudy and scared away the fish. It is better to go in the low season. I highly recommend the tour. A água é fria e a paisagem é sensacional. Recomendo demais o passeio.

(Translated by Google) This trail is of medium difficulty (difficult for children under five and the elderly, and very difficult for people with reduced mobility), but it can be skipped if the tourist doesn't mind paying R$15 to go by boat (and another R$15 to return). The trail is well-marked, with steps and handrails in the more complicated sections. The swampy sections have planks that allow for easy passage. It should be avoided before or immediately after rain, as it is entirely muddy. Be careful of insects and the time of day you are hiking, as it is a trail in the middle of a reserve.

Cachadaço beach is a stunning, wide stretch of coastline with a trail leading to natural pools surrounded by rocks and lush native vegetation. The beach is a favorite among explorers for its access to the Atlantic Forest hillside and short trail.
