International Friendship Bridge

Mentioned on
19 lists
Bridge
Sights & Landmarks
The International Friendship Bridge is a 1,812-ft.-long arch bridge with a pedestrian path that connects the cities of Foz do Iguacu in Brazil and Ciudad del Este in Paraguay. It symbolizes the union between the two countries and was constructed during the 1950s and 1960s over the Parana River. The bridge links Ciudad del Este to Foz do Iguazu and also shares a border with Puerto Iguazu in Argentina.
So fun to walk from one country to the next, not a far distance and wow! What an experience! I wouldn’t recommend going at night and not for inexperienced travelers.
Dana S — Google review
Walked to Paraguay from Brazil. If you're actually going to stay in Paraguay (and not merely shop there for a day), then be sure to get an exit stamp in your passport from the Brazil side of the bridge (Paraguay immigration will make you go back to Brazil if you don't have the exit stamp). Good views of the border river (Parana) from the bridge!
David G — Google review
I love the sunset and the show in the international friendship bridge 😁 The architecture is marvelous as well. It was a pleasant experience.
Agatha H — Google review
The bridge itself is nice but vehicular traffic was very bad going to Ciudad del Este. We crossed in a bus around 10AM on Thursday. Returning to Brazil by bus, the traffic was better.
Rick R — Google review
It got me to Paraguay and back. Use the right side of the bridge each way walking over. Locals don’t need to stop at immigration on either side but if you’re not local stop and get your Brazil exit stamp and Paraguay entry stamp, and the opposite in return. Brazil immigration was a little hard to find one booth serves both sides, Paraguay has a building on each side.
Collin — Google review
Most disgusting border crossing I’ve ever seen. Dirty, noisy, stinking and smelly. DISGUSTING !
JC C — Google review
I took an Uber to the bridge which cost me £3. I walked across the bridge with no problem. I’m a single middle-aged female on my own and no one troubled me. I did a little shopping and I came back again. I didn’t even make a stop at immigration nobody seemed interested. No problem. I got a cold beer near the bridge and I ordered an Uber back to my hotel, which cost me £2. I was advised to use the buses I didn’t get on with that because I couldn’t figure out which bus or how to pay
Maria B — Google review
The view from the bridge is very nice. But the bridge is in a very rough shape. It’s super dirty and it looks like it’s not being maintained at all.

The area also features other beaches catering to different preferences, such as Campeche Beach, which is ideal for a dream surf vacation and offers stunning views of Campeche Island.
All the beaches here on this island are gorgeous and this one is no exception. White sand clear blue water and a background of greenery and hills. You can't beat it. It's a beach break and although the waves were too small it would probably leave you very good here for surfing their body surfing.
Earth E — Google review
This is a fantastic beach amazing for playing volleyball. Get to know other people find amazing friends just relax on the beach. Enjoy the nature. The views the waves are friendly. A lot of people do windsurfing which is fantastic. There are rocky areas on the left side. Be careful about them if you go there make sure that you step on stable and Certain places not to fall between the rocks. There will be dangerous people who sell stuff by the beach are friendly and welcoming, which was amazing to there are some showers right outside the beach, which were also clean and amazing and I really liked them. I went there with a friend of mine and I took amazing pictures there and I really love the beach and the waves there I would always go back.
Mansour M — Google review
A great chilled beach lots of surfing and great atmosphere! Lots of cold beer and cheese and a stick! This place is great for families
Dj R — Google review
Many people here but very nice view, super good for surfers!
Francesca P — Google review
What a wonderful beach and so close to Lagoa (15 min on the bus). It offers beautiful nature and some infrastructure likes bars, shops and restaurants but not too much
Philipp L — Google review
It’s ok. Actually a very busy beach so if you’re into that then it might be the right place for you. What’s great is the dunes sitting in the background. If you climb up you’ll get a very picturesque view of the beach! Also the rocks on the left side of the beach is a cool spot to check out !
Discovering D — Google review
People are very nice and the beach is beautiful. Water is clean but sometimes the waves are strong. Plenty of gift shops and a few places to eat. You can enjoy and relax here for hours and not notice how long it's been.
Nadine M — Google review
Nice beach with breathtaking views, clear and clean water but it has big waves (perfect for surfers) anyway you can get into the water with extreme caution (I wouldn’t recommend it for children).

Mole Beach, also known as Praia Mole, is a popular surfing spot with a long stretch of sand and scenic headlands at either end. It's a favorite among locals and tourists for surfing competitions and enjoying the sun and water.
A beautiful white sand beach with clear blue water and no pollution. The water temperature fluctuates with the currents. The waves can be good for surfing or body surfing depending on conditions. The background of hills and greenery is gorgeous and there is a lifeguard on duty here. One of our favorite beaches in the world.
Earth E — Google review
The trails are very nice, but I wouldn't say the same for the beach, unless you surf it is not a very enjoyable beach.. But it has a nice preserved area!
Francesca P — Google review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Playa Mole is everything I dreamed of and more. The surf? Unreal. The kind of waves that make you feel like a pro… until you wipe out in front of a crowd of beautiful people. The sand is so white it makes my sunscreen look lazy, and the water is so clear I could see fish judging my paddling technique. The vibes? Immaculate. It’s like everyone there just rolled out of a hammock and somehow still looks like a model. If you’re into surfing, chilling, and pretending you belong in a postcard, this is the place to be.
Aiden A — Google review
Very nice beach with stunning waves and good infrastructure.
Muris D — Google review
Neighborhood of Selina Florianopolis just across the street. It's a decent beach with space. Small, nothing particularly special about it. It's like season right now so maybe there will be more activity during high season which I hear starts in November and December. It's an okay but not absolutely must see beach. Clean though.
John L — Google review
Beautiful beach, I’ve been here multiple times - as all beaches in Florianopolis it is always windy! I have been to this beach maybe 10 times and there was one occasion where it wasn’t windy. With that being said the trails and vibe of the beach really do make it special - it’s quite a gypsy beach (if you like that kind of thing) and there is always waves so for surfing it’s good (swimming not so much)
Zac N — Google review
Absolutely splendid place! I spent my honeymoon there and I had the best time of my life. Lots of activities, super chill vibe and safe. You can go scuba diving on the little island in the horizon I've met so many nice people there and there's a big lgbt and hippie community, which is where the fun is at. No matter how you look like, you'll feel included. There's also professional surfers and fishermen as well , all sorts of cool people. Let's not forget how AMAZING the fish is at the little food place on the beach Absolutely recommend it
Ry L — Google review
Mole beach is good, a little bit less crowded than other beaches, and the view is beautiful. It's close to Lagoa, you can walk to here.

Paradise, one of my favorite places in the city. The nature here is amazing, you can swing better in the channel and also you can enjoy the waves in the beach. In specific seasons of the year, the colors, weather temperature, level, and current direction of water in the channel may change. I found the best conditions in the second week of December. Here are some pics:
Carlos R — Google review
Very nice beach! Great for body surfing as its break is not far nor too hard. Plenty of food and drinks places and well safe with lifeguards around. Parking could be tricky, though. Pick a paid lot that offers a shower on the way out, and you can't go wrong!

(Translated by Google) I never imagined someone could make a crepe bad. Well, they did. Not to mention the terrible service. I went with my young daughter to buy a simple crepe. The place was empty, and it still took a while. There were two people making it, and the excuse was that "the machine was cold." Well, if it's a place that sells crepes, the ideal is to have the machine warm so the customer doesn't have to wait for a quick snack. I think because I asked if it would still take (as I said, my daughter is little and hungry), it seems they got angry and made her crepe bad. It was a cheese one, and it tasted strange, with a completely hard, brown crust (inedible). I tried to cut the crust so she could at least eat the filling. She took about three bites and said it was bad. And it was. A shame.

(Translated by Google) I ordered a simple pastel and they sent me the wrong order. Instead of accepting the error and sending me the correct one, they chose to put on a show. First, they forced the waitress to bring my pastel back to the table and cut it in half in front of me, trying to prove they'd sent it correctly. But it was wrong, just as I'd said. This left the waitress completely embarrassed; after all, it wasn't her fault, but she was the one who had to make the situation uncomfortable. Then they sent the correct one. But as if that weren't enough, when I went to pay, the cashier (who I assumed was the one in charge) came over to thank me for pointing out the error in the most passive-aggressive way I've ever seen in a restaurant. Even after I paid, she insisted on "thanking me" again, making things even more awkward. For a place that charges non-customers 10 reais to use the restroom, I don't understand the need for such a fuss over a pastel that would have been wasted because of their mistake. In short, I don't recommend it and won't be back.

Museu Oscar Niemeyer, also known as the "Eyes Museum," is a futuristic architectural marvel designed by renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Ribeiro de Almeida Niemeyer Soares Filho. Opened in 2002, it is the largest museum in Latin America and features 12 rooms showcasing contemporary art, design, and architecture. The building itself resembles a giant eye and is perched on a massive yellow pillar, creating an awe-inspiring sight for visitors.
Amazing museum dedicated to one of the most famous architects you will ever come across in Brazil. The museum is very well done and has sufficient reading material as well as displays. Some of the art is interactive and some of it is historical artifacts. There is a lot of modern art and some art from people from Curitiba. The parts of the museum that showcase Niemeyer’s accomplishments are particularly cool, especially if you’ve traveled around and seen some of his works.

It’s a nice museum and a real Curitiba’s postcard, however the exhibition wasn’t good, I was expecting more for the most famous museum in town. I’m glad I didn’t pay. Usually on Wednesday the entry is free 10am-6pm

Amazing building. African and Asian exhibitions were well curated and very engaging. Loved that museum goers were invited to create their own art out of materials similar to those used in the exhibition. Museum store needs some work.

I expected more from the museum. The sculptures are ok, the space is very pretty and overall it's ok. The only thing I didn't like was the internal security team. Some of them are a bit rude when dealing with customers. Attention.

This famous museum is on every city tour. The architecture of the museum building is impressive, especially the adjacent building known as The Eye, which is quite stunning. There are wide open picnic spaces and grounds for walking and hanging out with friends. There are admission fees to enter the buildings to see the exhibits.

PETAR - Alto Ribeira State and Tourist Park is a 357-square-kilometer state park located in the Atlantic forest, boasting over 350 caves, waterfalls, and rivers. It is often referred to as Brazil's 'Cave Capital' due to its 450 cataloged caves. The park features four well-equipped visitor centers providing information on cave trips, guides, and campgrounds.
Park is breathtaking, astonishingly lush and magical. Hardly find words to describe it! More than 300 caves and waterfalls are everywhere, people are also really friendly. No doubt it is a international travelers hotspot!

This natural park can offer you a great opportunity to have a deep contact with the nature in different ways! Here you can enjoy a lot of caves with different styles and difficulties, hiking all day long over different directions, even the river in a calm place become a natural pool. For entrance, you should pay a small fee (20 Brazilian Reais, approximately 4 dollars - Sep 2022), and you can free parking in the entrance area. Important: to access the caves, you need hire an official guide from this region to go together to you and/or your group

This virtually unknown park is full of amazing caves, beautiful sceneries, and warm rivers.
Tymon J — Google review
It is a beautiful place. However, one has to have a guide, they tend to serve you primitive attractions (like listening to music in cave) and enforce a number of regulations that neither increase safety nor pleasure (like crossing the river wearing shoes and walking later in wet shoes). Really unpleasent experience. I recommend finding another park to explore Mata Arlantica.
Piotr W — Google review
The caves here are phenomenal and merit more foreign visitors. Some of the caves are huge, others smaller. One is actually a tunnel exiting elsewhere from where there is a lovely 2km trek back. You need to hire an accredited guide beforehand to go with you, or else you will be turned away (as I saw with another car when we arrived). And believe me - you need a guide for your own safety as the caves extend hundreds of meters inside and you'd be in complete darkness if it were not for the guide's knowledge and our helmet torches (supplied by the guide tour agency). My guide was great, Luis from Monotours, with whom I spoke Portuguese. I also used my mobile/cell phone flashlight to better illuminate the stones we often stepped or scrambled over.

National park
Cave network with vast lit halls viewed by walkways & bridges located in a conservation park.
Huge and very impressive cave, with an illuminated 600m pathway inside. It is well signposted (as Caverna do Diabo) from the highway, including tens of kilometres before the turnoff, well before you arrive. Access is then along a 4km stretch of asphalted road uphill to the large visitor centre where there is plenty of parking and a restaurant. The guides (aka monitors} are all from the local community and operate independently as a co-operative association.

Fo Guang Shan Temple Zu Lai is situated in Cotia, just 40 km from Sao Paulo. The temple, consecrated in 1992, spans around 150,000 square meters and follows the teachings of Fo Guang Shan (Humanistic Buddhism). Visitors are impressed by the friendly people who gladly explain the beautiful and well-maintained grounds. The serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings make it a peaceful place to explore.

I visited this place to get acquainted with the culture of Buddhism. It was a wonderful experience, people are friendly and will gladly show and explain everything, the building and the territory are very beautiful and well maintained. Very quiet, calm and spiritually and mentally ... Free parking, and next to a huge beautiful green park with a pond in which there are many turtles. Bought some Chinese souvenirs and incense from a local shop.

I was able to visit the temple last Sunday with friends, and I must say that it was such a stellar place! It is not hard to navigate, everything can be found rather easily. The lake they have there is lovely, having fish and turtles that were easy to see. We saw some colourful birds, and the bridge over the lake was a cool feature. There are vivid, colourful landscapes to be seen. The statues remind you that you are not in an ordinary place. The temple itself and its surroundings are nothing like the architecture we see in this country, so it draws your eyes to the roofs, walls, doors, finishings and more. There were people ready to provide useful information. There was some sort of celebration going on, and it was interesting to see. This is definitely a great place to visit even if you are not a religious individual, as the temple is absolutely stunning!

Located in the coastal city of Santos, Brazil, the Aquário Municipal de Santos is a popular attraction for marine enthusiasts. The aquarium boasts an extensive collection of freshwater and marine species, including penguins and a touch tank. One of its main highlights is the Amazon Basin exhibit featuring unique fish native to the Amazon River. Despite its small size, the aquarium is packed with diverse marine life, from playful seals to mysterious sharks.
Small aquarium, but nice. Most of animals are from Brazil. Here you can see a small magellanic penguin.

Small, lots of empty tanks, but it seems like they are trying to improve it. I’d recommend it for a quick visit, don’t expect too much though.

This is a nice simple place to visit, especially on a rainy day when the beach isn't so nice. It's a small aquarium with a nice collection of fish and similar creatures. The one depressing tank was with the sea turtle. It was just a tank and water, no earth features or other stuff. I'm hoping that it is a work in progress.

cheapest aquarium admission I ever had, relatively. it's good to spend the day. the penguins still clinically depressed. try as they may, AC is no substitution for arctic weather. also make sure to get combo ticket and visit the zoologia garden on other side of town. walk or take a Uber there

Specialty Museums
Museu do Café, located in the historic Coffee Exchange building in Downtown Santos, offers a captivating journey through the history of Brazilian coffee. The museum showcases the significance of coffee to Brazil's economy and provides insights into the quality of coffee beans produced in the country. Visitors can explore exhibits on the history of coffee trading and even participate in barista classes. The grandiose architecture adds to the allure of this museum, making it a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
A fun stop for any java enthusiast — you can learn how the coffee trade shaped Brazil’s history and then enjoy the caffeinated flow of good joe in the café. The interior is well preserved, and the main bidding hall is particularly interesting, both for its beautiful design and its exhibitions chronicling the decades of auctions held at the exchange.
Path F — Google review
The Museo del Café is more than just a stop for a caffeine fix—it’s an experience that wraps history, aroma, and flavor into one visit. You step inside and the scent of freshly roasted beans hits you first, warm and inviting. Then you notice the space itself—walls lined with vintage grinders, old roasting drums, and photographs that tell the story of coffee from its roots to your cup. The museum side walks you through every stage: planting, harvesting, drying, roasting, brewing. You get to see the tools and traditions behind the process, not just the polished final product. It’s the kind of place that makes you appreciate your morning cup in a whole new way. And then there’s the café—cozy tables, natural light, and staff who clearly care about the craft. The coffee is exceptional: rich, full-bodied, with layers of flavor that unfold as it cools. If you’re hungry, their breakfast and pastry options are worth it too—simple, fresh, and made to complement the coffee rather than overshadow it. What really stands out is how relaxed the whole experience feels. You can wander through the exhibits at your own pace, sit for a cup, or just watch the baristas work. It’s the kind of place where you could spend an hour and feel like you’ve both learned something and taken a little break from the rush outside.
Gaurav J — Google review
I enjoyed the stories on history of coffee and coffee industry in Brazil. The building itself was once in 19th century the coffee exchange office of Santos and still today has amazing good vibe. Some of the art presentations are very interesting - like the coffee mugs flowing out of a cupboard that could be relate to coffee bean being poured out of a sack.
Tt_ H — Google review
Free on Saturday, definitely not worth paying for this in my opinion. The upper floor is hidden away but has maps and history to see, the entire museum you could see in 30 minutes if you dont engage in coffee tasting.
Levi W — Google review
The museum tells the history of coffee in São Paulo state and Brazil, the exhibit is great, it has everything in English, and the building is beautiful. The museum also has a very nice coffee shop serving good coffee and cakes.
Barbara S — Google review
A journey through time! The building inside is beautiful and the architecture is wonderful. Very interesting place, for those who love coffee! It has a cafeteria that serves a brewed coffee that is delicious! ❤ I went in Dec / 20 and on the outside it is covered in renovation, not being able to take photos. In the surroundings there are beautiful buildings that are worth the scenery. The museum itself is fine. The monument is beautiful and, although it is not as interesting a visit in the city as the Aquarium or the Sacred Art Museum, it is worth it. The problem is, ironically, as another comment pointed out, in the cafe. I have the costume of drinking coffees of various types and expected much more from the place. Do not go to the cafeteria because you calculate expensive for ordinary coffees prepared in an ordinary way. If you ask for the museum's iced coffee with milk - which now costs R $ 18.00 and is one of the cheapest items in the establishment - you will leave with the impression that your homemade coffee with a little milk and ice would have came out tastier. Again, go to the museum, don't go to the cafeteria.
Anderson P — Google review
A nice building which is located near Pele Museum. There is a small admission fee. There are lockers where you need to put your bag in and it has a small cafe on the ground floor. Very detailed history on Brazilian coffee, educational with lots of information

Enseada Beach - a huge bay beach, fully illuminated. Main in Guaruja so it is very crouded. Walking along the beach, we saw a terrible view of rubbish. The beaches here are supposed to be cleaned by cleaning crews, BUT after staying on the beach, people leave rubbish in the place where they were sunbathing. It is not so bad when they are closed in a bag, however most often they are loose. The evening rest on the beach after sunset (around 6:30 pm), in some dry sand, begins with looking for a place free from the sight of rubbish. The ocean's view is beautyfull though

I truly had a memorable day here, filled with joy and discovery. The blend of sport, leisure, and art offered a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me feel nice. Largest park in the city, it has nice roads for running and walking along with bicycle lines. It has a lake with River with plenty of grass areas to just sit and relax. We enjoyed it in a sunny day on Sunday and lots of people go to exercise and work out. Lots of local people just enjoying with their families Park has plenty of small stores to get snacks, water and natural coconut water which is great, however did not see a larger restaurant to get meals, just mobile spots for quick grab and go. There are public bathroom but can get crowded Green areas and well maintained although they could be better, trees are mostly tropical. There is a museum, planetary and Japanese site but did not go to those.

Even on weekdays, it never loses its rhythm. Between the tall buildings, you’ll also notice people living in tents a quiet reminder of the city’s social contrasts. Take a day to walk, listen, and observe. To understand São Paulo, start with Paulista. 🌿#PaulistaAvenue #SãoPaulo #TravelBrazil

A place of social live, specially on Sundays, then closed for cars and full of people. See and be taken notice off. No doubt on days with events. But here every Sunday or even every day is day of events. Don't miss MASP and Parque Trianon.

Super excellent walk it reminds me of the magnificent mile our Michigan Avenue in Chicago a little bit not full on just you know their variation of it here

One of São Paulo's most iconic and bustling streets, lined with impressive skyscrapers that house major banks, corporations, shops, and shopping centers. It is also home to MASP, the renowned Museum of Art with its distinctive architecture. On Sundays, the street comes alive with markets and countless stalls selling a variety of goods. Always lively and full of energy, this is a must-visit destination!

Shopping
The Mercado Municipal Paulistano, also known as Mercadao, is a historic market located in the old city center of Centro. Built in the 1930s, this magnificent market hall features skylights and stained-glass windows and is bustling with vendors offering rare fruits, vegetables, dairy produce, meat, fish, and more.
Interesting experience and many options to try and choose from. Just know that when they offer you samples, you will end up buying stuff and they don’t give you the price until they already wrapped and bagged things. You’ll end up paying 60 USD for 4 piece of fruit, which you can find in typical stores for 10 dollars.
Parihan R — Google review
This is a well-organized and clean market that offers a wide range of goods—from preserved meats, fresh fish, and spices to nuts and other local products. While it seems to have become more of a tourist attraction than a place locals frequent for daily shopping, it’s still worth a visit. The second floor has sit-down restaurants, making it a good spot to take a break and enjoy a proper meal. Prices are reasonable overall. One of the highlights here is the famous mortadella sandwich—a must-try if you’re visiting for the first time. Overall, a nice place to explore local flavors and pick up a few souvenirs or snacks. Just expect a more tourist-oriented vibe.

Landed in São Paulo after a red eye so we needed to stay awake so we could sleep tonight…dropped off bags, showered, and headed to the market, one of my absolute favorite places in SP! Our driver took great care of us as he guided us to a friend working a fruit stall where we ate our fill in samples of some of the best tasting fruit you’ll ever try…Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Yellow Avocado, Jack Fruit, Strawberries wrapped in dates, zero filter on that 🍊orange slice it was amazing! Got some dehydrated provolone discs and cubes of Parmesan…could spend hours in this market…a must stop when you come up São Paulo 🙌🏽

An incredible place to discover local and international exotic fruits and vegetables, meat vendors, pubs, bars, restaurants and much much more. A lively and bustling vibe. The only precaution, rather don't walk to this destination. Take a bus, taxi or Uber which takes you directly to this market.
Ele V — Google review
We came here close to the closing time but we still manage to grant our sandwich. The main reason we came to this market was to try this sandwich and it did not disappoint. The market itself has a lot of stalls, with nuts, fish, fruit, cheese and charcuterie and places to sit down and eat and drink. It's a nice stop if you are in the area.
Ana C — Google review
Not quite authentic. Lots of replication of stalls and restaurants. But it was a great mix of fruit, meats, seafood, wine bars, and restaurants. It's very clean and has a great energy. Maybe avoid the folks offering free samples but do try the cod pastel and the mortadela sandwiches. It just sit down for a glass of wine.
Gabriel B — Google review
Amazing place to shop for meat, cheese, olives, peanuts, sweets, fruit and also includes large restaurants that you can get the Mortadella Sandwich. Boca’s was the best place for Pastels (they actually fill them full and are overflowing with meat. The Maine sandwich shop (called Maine) was the best for Mortadellas. Be aware that the sales in this market are very aggressive and pushy. They will practically cut fruit and put it in your mouth as samples. The restaurants will practically hold your hand to seat you so that you order food. Didn’t bother me and all you need to do is stand your ground. One American to another 🇺🇸 😉
Sammy S — Google review
Be careful! The place is beautiful and historic, but the fruit vendors take advantage of tourists. I was asking about the price of the fruit, they gave me several to try, and then they charged me a lot of money for just a few pieces. Since they were "local" fruits, I thought the price would be a bit more expensive, but it turned out they were ripping people off. DON'T TRUST THEM. It was a horrible experience to not feel safe. I wasn't bargaining or denying to pay the correct price and yet they took advantage. My worst experience in SP.

Art museum
The Pinacoteca de São Paulo stands as a testament to Brazil's rich artistic heritage, making it one of the country's oldest and most significant art museums. Nestled in a stunning neoclassical structure originally designed for the School of Arts and Crafts, this museum showcases an impressive collection that ranges from 19th-century Brazilian paintings and sculptures to contemporary works. Its history is intertwined with various historical events, including conflicts in the early 20th century, which adds depth to its narrative.
Beautiful art museum! Museum has 3 levels, there is also a balcony on the front and back of the building on the 3rd level that has a nice view of the street and in the back a nice view of the park. I would make sure that if you are outside in the street don’t stay for long or take your phone out at all. There are many many homeless people in the area that steal from people regularly.
Brandon H — Google review
Definitely worth paying R30 for this museum as it has so many exhibitions and they were all amazing! The exhibitions were also in English and made it so much easier for us to enjoy! The ticket also includes the contemporary art in another building. We ended up spending over 2 hours here but could’ve easily spend half a day here. Highly recommend this to everyone!
James P — Google review
I enjoyed this art museum. It has a nice mix of old art and contemporary art. The only artist I actually knew about before visiting is a Rodin statue. But it was fun to learn more about Brazilian artists. I was hoping to visit some other art museums but all the other museums were closed on Monday...But the Pinacoteca was open! They get an extra star just for being open on the day I was in town. The gardens around the museum are beautiful and peaceful. But the restaurant had a long line so I did not get to eat there.
Daniel K — Google review
I loved this gallery. The exhibits are diverse, well curated, and educational for those new to Brazilian artists. There’s a cafe and shop worthy of stops, too. Highly recommend!

This is a fascinating house with many rooms of art by different artists. The ladscaping breathtaking and the day i was there live music and artistic acts. Right across the street from the famous Luz station
Paul C — Google review
One of the most beautiful museums I've been to. They have a great selection of pieces, with differing mediums, the space is clean and comfortable. The main entry goes thru a sunroom with super high glass ceilings, currently showing pieces done with wood, so you can smell the sap being warned by the sun. The staff was friendly and kind, very helpful and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. The pieces being showcased are very well selected, I think. And the infrastructure is beautiful.

With its colorful twisting slides, splash pools, and family-friendly rides, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Thrill-seekers can take on the Nitro-x ride or zip line across the park for an extra rush! The attention to detail in the park's design adds a charming touch, making it visually appealing as well.

Not tourist friendly. Staff can’t speak any word English. On the site there is a price at 40, but on arrival they double it. When we wanted to order online the website did not work. Then the cashier Said we could not enter because it will rain soon. After multiple times asking we could go in, but lost apxm one hour at entrance! Locker costs 25Rs

This place is COOL. And it has more fun than you can handle in one day. To go there and think you'll want to go home because you are so tired, think again, that's when you get your second wind.
Vernon E — Google review
We went to stay two nights and left after lunch on the first day. The place looks nothing like the photos on the website. It was dirty, blankets from last century, food served was dry and very little variety. The way it was served was with a lack of interest as was the general feeling of all the park. A real pity for our 10 year olds birthday surprise
Christopher M — Google review
The food seemed reasonable to me. Espatinhos, mini pizzas, and pastéis were all R$7 and were as good quality as you would find in any Festa Junina. The pastel was even big. The baru was particularly good. The park was very cute. It was obvious they paid attention to the small details. The rides were a lot of fun, especially the Nitro-x and the other ride right next to it (that one was maybe even better!) We spent about 7 hours there and didn't even do everything. It could be worth it to stay the night at the Posada and spend the whole weekend there.

Keep an eye on your own values, never leave something alone at the beach area. But safety staff with motobikes are around. Wonderful day!

What I liked: - the town and the beach looked reasonably not too crowded, allowing us to find easily space for ourselves on the beach and at the restaurant What I did not like: - the town is in fact just a short road with some bars and restaurants, but there is not a real attraction to visit after the beach.

Nice beach with some structure and some beach-facing things like restaurants. > Traffic to arrive may be terrible, so pay attention to the period you're visiting. Going on off-season periods is better. > It's not the cleanest beach, but water is good enough for swimming. > You will need to consume (eat or drink) to rent the umbrella and chairs. When I went there it was BRL30 consumption per person. > In comparison to other local beaches, I felt very safe in there. People were friendly and never hostile in any sense.
