Natural Monument of Beberibe Cliffs

Nature & Parks
Park
The Natural Monument of Beberibe Cliffs is a breathtaking stretch of protected cliffs and dunes that offer stunning views of the beach. This geological paradise is a must-visit for enthusiasts, although it's advisable to research the rock formation beforehand as local guides may lack knowledge in this area. Arriving early in the morning is recommended to avoid crowds from tours later in the day. The site boasts a wonderful story and visitors can enjoy the humorous and lively commentary of tour guide Wesley.
Absolutely stunning. If you are interested in geology, this is paradise but I suggest you read about the rocks formation before you visit because local guides often don't know much about the geological formation of the area. Also, try to get there early in the morning as it is full of tours from 11 onwards. Highly recommended

If you want a day of admiring natural beauty, take a tour to this place! The natural occuring cliffs offer beautiful pictures, hiking, and exploration. The tour, consisting of a Portuguese speaking guide, takes about 40 minutes and involves walking through a small market area in which they really try to sell you on projects created by the sand. The guide will pose you in many, many, places and take photos at different angles looking for a bigger tip at the end of the tour. If possible, take the dune buggy tour, as it allows you to see even more of the landscape!

Beach of Morro Branco

Beach
Nature & Parks
Coastal stop known for its labyrinthine eroded cliffs & multiple types of sand in different colors.
Game of Thrones filming location. Dune buggy tour on the beach and to the fresh water lagoon, with the optional sled ride into the lagoon was practically the highlight of our trip to Fortaleza. Highly recommend.
Winston B — Google review
Clay Cliffs along the beach! The cliffs of reddish, sandy clay that rise above Morro Branco beach are beautiful. The parade of waves we see in the distance washes endlessly against the lower layers of the Beberibe Cliffs, while wind and rain batter the upper reaches. There is slow erosion or sudden landslips and this Brazilian natural monument is continually crumbling away. Only guided tours are allowed here.
Gopi N — Google review
The cliffs aren’t here despite the photos! It’s a beautiful beach surrounded by what look like party houses, but the drive is a rough one (the most fun part of heading this way 😅) over rocky roads and wet red sand. For the cliffs lol for Labirinto das Falésias de Morro Branco You’ll see the hill with the white tower from the beach, it’s back that way ☺️

Great Family-Friendly Beach Spot with Aqua Park We had a lovely time visiting this beach — it’s a fantastic destination for families. The beach itself is very clean, safe, and spacious, offering plenty of room for both swimming and playing. Water is Cristal clear. Just a heads-up: if you want to sit at a table with chairs near the beach, there is a fee. There are two seating options available: VIP Area – Costs ₹900 just for the table; food and drinks are charged separately. Regular Area – Costs $90 for the table, but you can use as many chairs as needed, which is perfect if you’re visiting with a larger group. Charges for table use usually begin between 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM, depending on the day. Beach Aqua Park — fun for all ages! The entry fee varies by season; in July, it was $300 per person. Toilets are clean and tegere is a cleaner who is there all day. Food is great as well but you need to expect to pay more than if you would eat outside. We actually found a great place to eat nearby it was cheaper than on the beach . All in all, a great place to relax and enjoy a family day out by the water.
Rihards K — Google review
Going to the Beach Park in Fortaleza is an experience that I would recommend across the board. They are one of the largest water parks in the world with attractions that span the range from low to extreme intensity. I’ve had the opportunity to go there a few times as a child and went again now as an adult and it was just as fun as I remembered. Good: 1 - Excellent service. Employees are polite and knowledgeable. 2 - Lot’s of food options. 3 - Queues are not too long. 4 - Several options of attractions. 5 - Great layout with distribution of food/beverage kiosks, high/low intensity rides and pools distributed throughout. 6 - Easy access from hotel complexes. To Improve: 1 - The power went out when I was there. It took around 10 minutes for the attraction I was at to normalize. This is lack of proper engineering or configuration of the backup systems. A diesel generator should kick-in and stabilize within 1 minute of a power outage. Moreover, given that power to the attractions is essential to the proper operation of the park, they should have a UPS battery backup to sustain the park for a duration long enough for generators to kick in. 2 - The meat/bacon burger at the Beach Burger kiosk was bad. Dry and hard. Almost inedible. The chicken option was much better. 3 - A few attractions were closed. I understand this can happen. However, this needs to be informed extremely well to park goers. Ideally in a language that humanizes the situation. “Sorry, our pump is sick today but the attraction will be up in x days”. 4 - The lazy river was weaker than I expected. There were less pumps on? 5 - The Hupa/Hopa was not doing the water discharge to speed up the attraction as it used to. 6 - No way to keep track of time when around park since there are no clocks. Add some? Even though I am giving the park a 5-star review, I hope that the feedback can be put to use. If Beach Park plans on becoming “the Disney of Brazil” nothing short of perfect is enough.
Paulo — Google review
The toys are really nice, and the park is well maintained. Quite safe for kids. Though i believe the park is more enjoyable for kids older than 10. I give 2 stars because they made me lose 1h15m advertising a travel package scheme that i didn’t want to sign. I arrived at 1pm and the park closes at 5pm, so i lost 30EUR! (3 adults 2 children). Also they messed up my tickets. Because i didn’t have to pay for an autistic child companion and they made me pay. Both employees were rude and didn’t inform me correctly. So in the end i only enjoyed 2h45min.
Fernando M — Google review
The beach is absolutely amazing and the water park has a lot of attractions. Also it is not that busy so the waiting time is decent.
Andreea T — Google review
The beach park offers a vast expanse with a wide array of activities suitable for a diverse age range spanning from three-year-olds to those in their sixties. Our visit to the park took place on a weekend, and despite the large crowd, waiting times for most activities were surprisingly short. Safety was a top priority, evident in the presence of numerous vigilant lifeguards stationed throughout the park. They were extremely dedicated to their roles. Personally, my most exhilarating experience was the "Insano," which provided a thrilling adrenaline rush.
Diego ( — Google review
Beautiful park, very well run, and the slides are excellent! My family and I had a great visit.
Jerry S — Google review
A really fun place to visit but very busy and there were long queues for everything, including food outlets. We only managed 4 rides in the entire time we were there. It is only open from 11am to 5 pm. 5 stars if we went on a quiet day!

I would not recommend this place AT ALL! it is the worst beach I've been to in my life and I've been around the world. It smells like sewage and feces which is unbearable. Also as many people mentioned there is someone trying to sell you something every 2 mins..

Be careful, there are some areas where you have to pay for the table and chairs. Ask before you sit down. I think it’s a scam to pay for the table

Awesome beach for relaxing and enjoying the beach clubs there. The water isn't the best for a swim due to waves and clarity.
Raul A — Google review
Nice beach, but you need to pay attention on possible, though not probable, thefts. Don't be fooled by the constant winds (especially between August and October) or even partly cloudy days: the sun is treacherous and really burns here. Take tons of sunscreen with you.
Michael R — Google review
Very good beach. Maybe the best one in Fortaleza. However, you have to be careful for the criminals. There are a lot of pickpockets, stickups and armed robbery. It is safe if you come only for a bath and enjoy the sun without anything in your hands or inside your pockets. Bring only your hotel key and nothing else.

With its rich history and modern facilities, Arena Castelão continues to host exciting matches and provide an unforgettable experience for fans.
Great and modern stadium, facilities are good. Plan to get there early as there is a lot of traffic on match days and it will take much longer than usual. Access was easy and uncomplicated. There were no assigned seat, only sections. Everyone was standing. Overall great experience!

Arena Castelão — officially known as Estádio Governador Plácido Aderaldo Castelo — is located in Fortaleza, Brazil. It was one of the main venues for both the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Here are a few key facts about it: •   Renovation and modernization: Originally built in 1973, it underwent major renovations between 2010 and 2012 to meet FIFA standards. •   Capacity: Around 63,000 spectators. •   Design: The renovation added a new roof, improved stands, better access, and sustainable features like rainwater reuse and solar panels. •   Technology: In recent years, Castelão introduced facial recognition technology at its gates, enhancing both security and entry efficiency for fans — a first among some major Brazilian stadiums. •   Use today: It’s home to local football clubs such as Ceará SC and Fortaleza EC, and still hosts large concerts and events.

(Translated by Google) This place is magnificent for walking, sunbathing and swimming. From early on they prepare the umbrellas and chairs to be able to enjoy the beach day that begins very early since at 5 p.m. The sun is already beginning to set. The beach falls sharply and this means that you can swim in the sea that is clean and warm. I want to emphasize that the water is very pleasant and does not leave your skin sticky. What caught my attention is that there is only one lifeguard who walks along the shore from end to end. This may be why swimmers enter the sea with a type of float tied to their waist with a strap. The water temperature is magnificent and gives me the feeling of swimming in a heated pool. They constantly clean the sand of waste and provide you with a bag for collecting it. Along it there are stalls with a wide variety of drinks and also products to eat. The sunset is wonderful and leads you to take many photos.

Best place in the world. Always nice to be. Every day hot weather 🌡️☀️. Almost every day sun. Nice at the day tike and at night. You can do almost everything here. Sleep, eat, drink, roller blade, cycle, walk, run, free Wi-fi, play sports, buy things, supermarket, fish and more

Do not suggest this place to stay, to spent your time there. It's a dirt beach with small cases of thefts. It's necessary to keep the Police all time there. The sea is danger to stay in family (kids).

Centro Dragão do Mar de Arte e Cultura, also known as Dragao do Mar, is a massive and modern cultural complex in Fortaleza. It offers a wide range of attractions including art museums with diverse exhibitions, a planetarium, cinemas, theaters, and workshops. The complex also features a popular café called Santa Clara. In the evening, the area around Dragao do Mar transforms into a lively bohemian district with various bars and music venues for all tastes.
Beautiful, tranquil, central, and historic. A must-see if staying in Fortaleza. Great for couples and families with children. About a 10 minute walk from the Metropolitan Cathedral of Fortaleza and close to numerous other sites and areas. Highly recommend!

It is a Nice place for art. Unfortunately the Spots and the places are Not Very good indicated, we got a little bit Lost.

The whole facilities are under major upgrading at the moment. There is in fact not much to see now.
Desmond H — Google review
The place was staffed, but closed for reconstruction and no indication of that prior to have saved the trip going there. According to the Uber Driver they want to open in two month (November 2025) again, but from the progress of the reconstruction (none), that seems to be very ambitious. Beside that, the area is not safe to walk and there’s nothing much else to do. All in all, it was a great disappointment.
Andreas K — Google review
In need of maintenance/update. Too little expositions. Stores closed. No energy at this place unfortunately. Expected a little more.

The exhibitions were cool! But it was hard to get around there because there weren't any signs. There's a nice looking cafe, but it opens at 3pm. It was very empty during day time but that was nice.

If you think this a centre for art and culture, which would reasonable when that's what its name is - you are wrong! It's a cinema AND a planetarium. Nothing else going on here.

Outdoor Activities
Park offering activities & attractions such as wakeboarding, swimming, zip lines & a cachaça museum.
Very good to visit, if you like or not cachaça.
Gustavo — Google review
I visited the park during their "Black Friday Sale" in November which is $65 to enter and ride all the attractions. The price is good enough for a day of activities. The only attraction not included in the entrance price is the tall zip-line which is an extra $60 to ride. I skipped the tall zip-line and experienced every other ride the park offers which is good enough for a day in the sun. The park is cute and clean but you can tell that the attractions need a little bit of love and care. They have a sugar mill and liquor museum, a restaurant and many water attractions, like wakeboarding, stand-up paddle board, kiayking and more...the lake is not huge so you won't be doing these things for long time. If you do not pay the entrance ticket price than you have to pay for each attraction individually which is not worth it because you pay for 10 minutes for each activity. They don't have many things for adults here it's mainly kids and teens but you can do somethings if your in the mood. They have a tree course, archery, a pool for swimming and a horse carriage. The horses needs to retire because they are already elderly...thats the saddest part to me...even though you can see the young men take good care of them. The staff here is very friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. The park itself is very clean. The only concern for new visitors is the road to get to the park....if you are not used to this type of dirt road or is from out of town you will think you are lost because it's all the way inside a ranch on a dirt road with no sign and it's confusing....just keep following the gps until you see a small town of white and blue houses. The other thing to keep in mind is the small zip-line attraction included in the entrance price has a weight limit of 80 kg - I don't know the conversion to pounds...and they do not tell you that at the entrance. The restaurant is self service and by weight. The food is good and they have various options of meat, rice and beans. All in all is a fun and safe place for the whole family. The park closes at 5pm and the attraction are open till 430pm so you will have enough time to do everything at least twice.

(Translated by Google) I recommend a visit to the Açude do Cedro. As a keen photographer, I made sure to take some pictures. There, you will have a beautiful view, a great place to learn about the local history and its importance to Quixada. Designed by British engineer J. J. Rèvy and built by leading figures in the emerging Brazilian engineering movement with polytechnic training, the dam stands out as an exceptional example of the period between the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. It is one of the pioneering works of its type and size in the world. (Original) Recomendo a visita ao Açude do Cedro. Projetada pelo engenheiro britânico J. J. (Translated by Google) A tourist spot that represents the city of Quixadá well, as it was the first water project of the Brazilian government, during the administration of Dom Pedro II. You can take great photos and for those who are hungry, there is a restaurant nearby that offers good food at a fair price. The surrounding area is also good for outdoor running activities, as long as you don't go at night or in the dark, because it becomes more dangerous. I think the government should invest more in the area, providing more policing and maintenance.

(Translated by Google) The place has a great location for photos but has no facilities. Just a stand selling coconut water and water. The day we went, the spot where visitors stand to view the landscape (around the antenna wall) was quite dirty with animal feces. The climb is quite tiring and a bit time-consuming. We went more out of curiosity because everyone talks about Pico Alto. It's a shame that it's not well maintained by the local authorities. Local social media and businesses should join forces and demand improvements. I felt like I was part of them. Which also made me sad. For such an immersive place to be completely abandoned. There's nothing there, just a stand selling coconut water and quick snacks. The place is left to fend for itself, with no infrastructure whatsoever. It would be a great attraction for the city. (Original) QUE VISTA ESPETACULAR!!! Icaraí de Amontada is a stunning beach in Ceara, known for its beauty and spaciousness. The warm, calm, and clear waters make it ideal for swimming and suitable for families with children. However, the area experiences intense and potentially dangerous traffic from cars, trucks, buggies, and motorbikes on weekends. Visitors are advised to be cautious when walking around.

Loved Amontada the beach is beautiful, spacious with warm calm clear waters great to swim and for families with kids. The only negative point that I like to highlight, unfortunately happening in many beaches here is the traffic of cars, trucks, buggy’s and motorbikes is pretty intense and dangerous specially on weekends. Be cautious when walking. They have several pousadas along the beach to stay and many restaurants. Amanda is popular for kitesurfing and windsurfing. The beach is starting to deteriorate due to the fact of high traffic on the sand and the lack of garbage cans.
Andrea P — Google review
Amazingly beautiful quiet beach.
Itay A — Google review
It's pretty beautiful, like almost all beaches of Ceará, but I really recommend you to search for the Barraca das Ostras (Oysters Shack). There you can eat very cheap oysters and take a boat along the river in the mangrove, so you see a lot of the fauna and flora from the city, pass through the love tunnel, and can see the dunes. Besides that, there is another shack, just after the dunes, following the river, that sells a shells stew, that is the definition of amazing.

No Sloth here. The name is because the tree seems to be laying down, lazy like a Sloth ☺️

This is the most pointless attraction in all of Jericoacoara. It’s just a tree. And not even that great of a tree. And it takes like 30 minutes of driving on the bumpy roads just to get to it.

Interesting tree, but a lot of people queeing to take pictures of the tree...
Mark N — Google review
This is one of the last manglar trees in the area. The tree is laying to the side because of the non stop strong winds. That's the reason for the name too. As you approach the tree you'll see a sing stating that it's forbidden to climb the tree. During the few minutes we spent there all of the visitors climbed the tree for their pictures. How silly the human being is, right?

Visitors can also opt for horse-drawn carriages for transportation. The trek offers breathtaking views along the way, making it a rewarding experience.

Its an hour walk back and forth with a comfortable pace from the center. I left early in the morning at 06.30 i found this to be very rewarding cos it wasn't hot and there wasn't a lot of people there at that time of the day. the walk offers you a view of a different kind of vegetation - more green which means you get to see some cows and donkeys on the way. Its a cool tour to do whilst in Jeri

Dune Sunset Jericoacoara is a popular spot where hundreds of people gather every evening to witness the breathtaking sunset over the ocean. Tourists and locals alike climb this flat-topped sand dune just before sunset, eagerly anticipating the stunning natural display. The pleasant climate year-round makes it an ideal location for enjoying this daily spectacle. After the sun disappears behind the sea, visitors often applaud before returning to Jericoacoara village to continue their evening activities.
An absolute must for every visitor to jeri. it is a breathtaking experience to be on the dunes at sunset. Highly Recommended

Really a must-see/do event while here. First, Duna Por do Sol (Sunset Dune) is so close to the town; second, if the sun is out, you will be in the company of hundreds of others who climb this gently sloping dune for a chance to take some spectacular sunset photos. There are people selling drinks up and down the dune, so you can make a small party out of the event.

The guide gave us good directions and told us the whole story. You can take many beautiful photos. There are many bats, but they stay hidden, one or two appear flying around. The trip was worth it. I haven't done the longer trail yet, I want to do it next time. I recommend it! (Translated by Google) Very short, quick tour, nothing difficult or exciting. The entrance fee could be lower. You can't enter without flip-flops or sandals. Too many people in the group, which spoils the experience.

(Translated by Google) First, take the cable car for 3 kg of food. You need to buy the cave entrance ticket for 30 reais right at the beginning of the park if you pay by Pix or card. If you pay in cash, you can buy it after getting off the cable car because there's no internet down there.

(Translated by Google) Considering what it offers, the tour is excellent value for money, and as for the cave itself, it is truly surprising and beautiful in its small details. The only problem is the large number of people per tour group; the crowding ends up hindering the experience.

Laid-back estuary beach & popular kitesurfing spot, with cabana bars & seafood restaurants.
Its magnificent, beautiful dunes, lagoons, it's amazing.

If you dont kite. Don't go. It is ridiculously over priced. Doesn't offer much at all. Is in no mans land. Hard to get to so guides take advantage. Very disappointing.

Tatajuba is a beautiful beach that outshines others in the region such as jeri and prea. If you are going to kite there be careful with the tide. The main launching area by the restaurants can be a terrible place at high tide. Be careful with your control bar, if it's in the middle of the road angry/ignorant drivers will ran over your bar.

Barra Grande Beach Club is a relaxed hotel with unpretentious accommodations. It features a pleasant outdoor pool, a cozy bar, and offers breakfast for guests. The owners are incredibly friendly and create a welcoming atmosphere that feels just like home. They provide helpful information about the area and offer great advice to enhance your stay. One unique experience they offer is paddling in the nearby mangrove, which is highly recommended.
We just left Barra Grande, and we really enjoyed our stay. What made it so special was the pousada. The staff there was super pleasant!! The owner is amazing, makes you feel at home. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is great. We will return there for sure ! 😍

I really enjoyed my stay there ! The owners are they nicest, it really felt just like home :-). They told me all about the place, gave me great advices. I went paddling with them in the mangrove, such a nice idea ! The place is really nice and clean, and offers all that's needed : a bar, great location (50m from the beach and the kite point), breakfast, wifi connection and is really quiet (the main bars and restaurants are only 5-10 min walk). I Highly recommend it.

Barra Grande is (still) a hidden treasure when it comes to kitesurfing. I have been to a lot of spots around the world, Barra Grande is definitely in my top 3. I think Beach Club is your best bet in Barra. A clean and modern pousada with a lovely staff. Also the locations is amazing. People stay there for months.

The beach club has kite gear storage and air compressor. It is located in one of the best locations of the beach. Food and drinks are also available and good. DJ over there is the only thing that can be either great or horrible
