São Paulo Cathedral is a majestic neo-Gothic landmark in the heart of the city. Its soaring arches, intricate stained glass, and peaceful atmosphere offer a striking escape from the urban rush outside. Whether you’re into architecture, history, or just seeking a quiet moment, it’s well worth a visit.

It’s an impressive and beautiful landmark, worth visiting for its architecture and history. I recommend going with a local if possible as the surrounding area has a large homeless presence and I was approached by one person. That said, there was a visible police presence with about four police cars right in front of the cathedral which made me feel safer during the visit.

Sé Metropolitan Cathedral is definitely a spot worth checking out for anyone who loves to travel and explore historical landmarks. The front of the church is absolutely beautiful, it’s the kind of architecture that makes you pause and admire, especially if you're into photographing iconic places. It’s a must-visit for tourists and travel enthusiasts alike. That said, there are a couple of things that could really elevate the experience. The exterior colors have faded over time and the building would benefit from some maintenance to bring back its original charm. Inside, I found the lighting to be quite dim, which took away from the grandeur of the interior space. Aside from those issues, the rest of the experience is decent. If you’re in São Paulo and have an interest in churches or historical sites, it’s still worth a visit.

Absolutely brilliant and interesting inside out. You will find infos about transportation and how it evolved in time, replicas and real trains, planes. Inside you can check the wild nature based photography expo, be mesmerised by optic illusions, learning physics through games and experimenting or see the evolution and extinction of life on earth. There is also an anatomy section which describes the processes in the body and presents the human DNA at a huge scale.

Great museum and a positively surprising experience. Enjoyed learning about Brazil’s landscape and vegetation zones. Some experiments were also new to me. So all in all a pleasant afternoon.

The museum is incredible, with so many things to see! It's an ideal place for families due to the numerous interactive exhibits. The first floor is geared more towards children, while the second floor features plenty of reading materials, so I recommend it for ages 12+. The architecture is truly stunning. Just one tip: arrive early to have a better chance to explore and play with everything.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The kids enjoyed the dedicated play area and the swimming pool. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs, even arranging a late check-out. The rooms were spacious and very clean, perfect for our family.

Landed in São Paulo after a red eye so we needed to stay awake so we could sleep tonight…dropped off bags, showered, and headed to the market, one of my absolute favorite places in SP! Our driver took great care of us as he guided us to a friend working a fruit stall where we ate our fill in samples of some of the best tasting fruit you’ll ever try…Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Yellow Avocado, Jack Fruit, Strawberries wrapped in dates, zero filter on that 🍊orange slice it was amazing! Got some dehydrated provolone discs and cubes of Parmesan…could spend hours in this market…a must stop when you come up São Paulo 🙌🏽

An incredible place to discover local and international exotic fruits and vegetables, meat vendors, pubs, bars, restaurants and much much more. A lively and bustling vibe. The only precaution, rather don't walk to this destination. Take a bus, taxi or Uber which takes you directly to this market.

We came here close to the closing time but we still manage to grant our sandwich. The main reason we came to this market was to try this sandwich and it did not disappoint. The market itself has a lot of stalls, with nuts, fish, fruit, cheese and charcuterie and places to sit down and eat and drink. It's a nice stop if you are in the area.

Not quite authentic. Lots of replication of stalls and restaurants. But it was a great mix of fruit, meats, seafood, wine bars, and restaurants. It's very clean and has a great energy. Maybe avoid the folks offering free samples but do try the cod pastel and the mortadela sandwiches. It just sit down for a glass of wine.

Amazing place to shop for meat, cheese, olives, peanuts, sweets, fruit and also includes large restaurants that you can get the Mortadella Sandwich. Boca’s was the best place for Pastels (they actually fill them full and are overflowing with meat. The Maine sandwich shop (called Maine) was the best for Mortadellas. Be aware that the sales in this market are very aggressive and pushy. They will practically cut fruit and put it in your mouth as samples. The restaurants will practically hold your hand to seat you so that you order food. Didn’t bother me and all you need to do is stand your ground. One American to another 🇺🇸 😉

Be careful! The place is beautiful and historic, but the fruit vendors take advantage of tourists. I was asking about the price of the fruit, they gave me several to try, and then they charged me a lot of money for just a few pieces. Definitely worth paying R30 for this museum as it has so many exhibitions and they were all amazing! The exhibitions were also in English and made it so much easier for us to enjoy! The ticket also includes the contemporary art in another building. We ended up spending over 2 hours here but could’ve easily spend half a day here. Highly recommend this to everyone!

I enjoyed this art museum. It has a nice mix of old art and contemporary art. The only artist I actually knew about before visiting is a Rodin statue. But it was fun to learn more about Brazilian artists. I was hoping to visit some other art museums but all the other museums were closed on Monday...But the Pinacoteca was open! They get an extra star just for being open on the day I was in town. The gardens around the museum are beautiful and peaceful. But the restaurant had a long line so I did not get to eat there.

One of the most beautiful museums I've been to. They have a great selection of pieces, with differing mediums, the space is clean and comfortable. The main entry goes thru a sunroom with super high glass ceilings, currently showing pieces done with wood, so you can smell the sap being warned by the sun. The staff was friendly and kind, very helpful and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. The pieces being showcased are very well selected, I think. And the infrastructure is beautiful.

This place is COOL. And it has more fun than you can handle in one day. To go there and think you'll want to go home because you are so tired, think again, that's when you get your second wind.

We went to stay two nights and left after lunch on the first day. The place looks nothing like the photos on the website. It was dirty, blankets from last century, food served was dry and very little variety. The way it was served was with a lack of interest as was the general feeling of all the park. The food seemed reasonable to me. Espatinhos, mini pizzas, and pastéis were all R$7 and were as good quality as you would find in any Festa Junina. The pastel was even big. The baru was particularly good. The park was very cute. It was obvious they paid attention to the small details. The rides were a lot of fun, especially the Nitro-x and the other ride right next to it (that one was maybe even better!) We spent about 7 hours there and didn't even do everything. It could be worth it to stay the night at the Posada and spend the whole weekend there.

Cool beach, quite clean for the amount of campings around. Access to it is through a bit of hiking (15 mins). It is big enough for the ppl going there and even has an island at one if its ends.

Beautiful beach and quite secluded. We rented an airbnb and there are posadas on the beach but it's also convenient to camp there. The best part is that it is a very non tourist area except around new years eve when the beach gets full. WiFi reception is not so good but it adds to the charm of this place. There is one main restaurant but a few local ones that are quieter and much better, in terms of service and food quality. Overall just a great place to vacation!

I loved this place. You have many trails and beaches to go to from there or if you want you can just stay and enjoy the beach. Be careful and respect the Dangerous signs in this beach, if you do that you will have a pleasant day at this beach.

Very nice area and beach is very nice fot long walks. Beach Equipment is old. So better bring your own (chair/umbrella). Friendly people there with local food markets. Keep an eye on your own values, never leave something alone at the beach area. But safety staff with motobikes are around. Wonderful day!

Lots of places to park your car and sometimes they'll have events happening at the car park.

It's very basic, it's a simple place full of low budget stores. The cinemas are great, but 99% of the movies shown are dubbed in Portuguese. The bowling alley is nice, great place to eat.

I'm a tourist from the U.S and one of my favorite things to do is to see the difference between malls in different countries. Let's just say Brazilian malls are one of my new favorites. I wasn't there to buy anything so I enjoyed just looking around, however, if you were going to buy something it's not very cheap. Example: a Maybelline mascara costs 80 Reais which, for an American, would be $20.00. I would economize, look around, and maybe buy something small, but don't go there for a shopping spree. The food court is great with several options, but, again, the prices and portions are wild for me as a foreigner. Overall, the mall is pretty and clean and I would come here again just to see the different stores.

I only didn't give it a 5 star because of it's Pet Policy. Like in many other malls in Brazil pets are allowed in, but in this one you have to carry them on your lap. It is also forbidden to leave your pet at the entrance like many other places allow you to. So, if your pet is a lil fatty like mine, choose a different place to go to. This park was absolutely beautiful and worth the 40 Reis entrance fee. The gardens were all well-maintained. The views of the surrounding valleys were spectacular. It's an easy stroll through the park, and there's even a maze to navigate through. There are various plants to see and coy fish in the ponds. And there's a tree house you can visit. You only need 1-2 hours total to see everything. The employees were nice, but it may be difficult to find someone that speaks English.

Nice place to visit. Destination for a lot of tour buses, so it was pretty busy when we were there. Lots of shops selling the usual tourist fare. The water was pretty and interesting. We did not find any actual trails to hike, which would have been nice and would have gotten us away from the crowds. There is parking but it was pretty full when we were there.

It’s the centre of attraction of the city, a very lovely place with different activities that you can engage in. Feel free to go there to take pictures even if you can’t afford to pay for boat rides & other activities there. It's a family friendly place, but very touristy. Meaning things area expensive and mass target. Nevertheless it's a great place for little kids to run around and enjoy themselves while grownups enjoy a craft (but little expensive) beer.

There you will find hotels, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlor, handcrafted chocolates, clothing shops and warehouses that sells wines, beers and kinds of canned food. In the winter season there is the winter festival on the main square. In this occasion orchestras and shows are being presented to the visitors.

It was a silly place but fun for our kid and we took lots of pictures. The photographer in there was really nice and only charged us R$5 per adult to take photos of us by the sign and even did a video with snow falling. We enjoyed that!

Mount Elephant! Has lots of elephant statues, nice picture spots and the highlight is you get to take picture with make believe snow😂

A nice park to walk around. There are several short hikes. We really enjoyed Trilha dos campos (3km), which takes you up to good views and also winds along the river for a stretch. The trail to the waterfall was much more crowded and more of a road than a trail. Overall, the park itself was very crowded excepting Trilha dos Campos. It is possible to access by bus or uber and you do have to pay to enter.

With the Covid-19 restrictions, we couldn’t see more of the inside details but it was worth it. They have mass every hour and multiple locations as well. I loved it. Perfect to buy gifts and there more attractions outside the Basilica as well. The entire city is filled with attractions and even the cities nearby.

Amazing experience in the middle of nature

Always when I visit this place I get impressed. There are wonderful views from everywhere. During my last visit I took the trail called Rancho Caído, which was amazing!

A completely different environment if you use the north west entrance. Warning the 12km road can be very bad. Warning 2: Arrive early the last entrance is around 2pm. You must leave the park by 5pm. This may change during they year so it is best to chemo in advance.
