Opened in July 2014, this unique destination beautifully intertwines pilgrimage and leisure, offering visitors an immersive experience into the life of Sai Baba and the villagers during his era. As you stroll through the park, you'll encounter intricately crafted statues that depict significant moments from Sai Baba's life—such as his acts of kindness towards those in need and scenes reflecting daily village activities.

Great place to visit. I would suggest you to hire a Guide over there. He will give you insights about each memory recreated over there. Properly maintained, peace and calm. Need to clean the statues.

Very nice place, shows what Old Shirdi was like. Really shows how people used to live during Shri Sai Baba's time. A must visit place in Shirdi. Om Sai Ram 🙏🕉️
Pratham P — Google review
This place is charging very high ticket prices from people but offers nothing in return. Their ticket charge is 150 per person which includes 50 rupees for the auto driver who drop you their. Nobody gonna tell you about that the 50 is the commission for the auto driver to get customer from shirdi or any other places...after charging 150 in the reception they will charge 100 to 200 for the rides they have inside and the food and beverages are also charged more than MRP. If you're a first time visiter to shirdi I'll not recommend this place to anymone and if you visited once you'll never gonna come to this place again...The statue of Sai baba are pretty good though but their condition is not that great...pics looks good because i have edited them otherwise their is nothing to watch.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Sai Heritage Village, Shirdi is a wonderful place to visit, especially with family. It beautifully showcases cultural and spiritual heritage with life-like statues and peaceful surroundings. The place does need some maintenance to clean the vegetation, and repair the damaged statues, and the entry fee of Rs.150 per person feels a bit pricey, but overall, it’s an enjoyable experience — kids will love this place!
Gunateja C — Google review

Dwarkamai Mosque in Shirdi is a humble yet revered pilgrimage site that was once the home of the esteemed religious leader Sai Baba. It is considered one of the holiest places to visit in Shirdi, as it served as Sai Baba's main residence for 60 years. The mosque features the perpetual holy fire, or dhuni, which was first lit by Sai Baba and is believed to have healing powers. Visitors can take wood ash from this fire as a sacred gift.
Dwarkamai in Shirdi is a truly peaceful and spiritual place. The serenity here fills you with calm and devotion. A must-visit for all Sai Baba devotees. Om Sai Ram!

Visited Dwarka Mai in Shirdi, the sacred place where Sai Baba spent a major part of his life. This humble yet powerful place holds deep spiritual significance, as it was here Baba performed miracles, healed the sick, and guided his devotees. The ever-burning dhuni (sacred fire) still continues, symbolizing his eternal presence. Being there felt truly divine and filled me with a sense of calm and devotion.

Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust in Shirdi is a major Hindu pilgrimage site that manages daily activities, accommodations, and meals for pilgrims. The temple, covering 200 square meters, is a central attraction in Shirdi and draws pilgrims from around the world. It offers accommodation for visitors and is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., with special overnight openings on occasions like Guru Purnima and Rama Navami.
My trip to Shirdi was a truly memorable experience. The atmosphere around the temple was electric, buzzing with a mix of excitement and devotion. Even though there were huge crowds, the temple authorities did a great job of keeping things organized, so the long queues moved surprisingly smoothly. The moment I stepped inside the main shrine, I felt a wave of peace wash over me. It's hard to describe, but there's definitely a special energy there. The whole complex was incredibly clean, which was impressive considering the sheer number of people. Getting to Shirdi was easy enough, with plenty of transport options available. One thing I'd recommend is to be prepared for the crowds, especially if you're going during a festival. Also, remember to dress respectfully and be aware of your belongings. While there were a few vendors trying to sell things outside, most people were genuinely there for the spiritual experience. Overall, my visit to Shirdi was a powerful and moving one, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone seeking a spiritual journey.

🌸 A Soulful Pilgrimage to Shirdi – The Abode of Sai Baba 🌸 Our visit to Shirdi was a truly divine and heart-touching experience. The moment we entered the Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir, we felt an overwhelming sense of peace, faith, and devotion. Shirdi is not just a place — it’s the sacred land where Shirdi Sai Baba, the revered saint known for his simplicity, kindness, and teachings of love and humanity, spent most of his life serving people selflessly. His life was devoted to spreading the message of faith (Shraddha) and patience (Saburi), embracing people from all walks of life regardless of religion or background. The Samadhi Mandir is where the mortal remains of Sai Baba rest, and the aura around it is incredibly serene and calming. The temple premises are clean, well-organized, and beautifully maintained, making the entire darshan experience smooth and fulfilling. The sight of devotees praying in silence, the fragrance of flowers and incense, and the soulful aartis create an atmosphere filled with devotion and positivity. A truly special part of the visit is receiving Sai Baba’s Udi (holy ash) after darshan. Baba himself used to distribute Udi to devotees as a symbol of blessings, protection, and healing. Even today, devotees believe that Baba’s Udi brings peace, good health, and spiritual strength, making it one of the most cherished offerings from Shirdi. Walking through the temple grounds, one can also see places associated with Sai Baba’s simple lifestyle — spots that reflect his humility, compassion, and the way he lived close to nature and served humanity. Our darshan at the Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir was truly special and left us with a deep sense of gratitude, peace, and renewed faith. A visit to Shirdi is not just a journey but a spiritual experience that stays in your heart forever. ✨ Review by @the_solo_wanderer_ For more soulful journeys and untold stories, search me on Instagram 🌿📸

Planning your visit will help in many ways for Sai Baba darshan. Off day one can avoid rush. You can buy online tkts for darshan and it works great. There will still be good walk inside however, better than standing in a long queue. There is seperate line for senior citizen so if you have elderly please use that. It is better to get your tkt for paid darshan printed. The entrance unlike any other temples is well maintained and not overly crowded. The parking, mobile phone and footwear is all taken care at the place. Please note mobile phones are not allowed and have to be kept in lockers or just keep in the car. The staff is helpful and guide you around. The inside of the temple is par or even better than any other place in foreign country. Museum is nice and must see. There are other temples shiva ling, Ganesha when you exit towards gate 3. The entire place is well maintained. I was thrilled to see that in India we have such place to visit specially worship place like this one for Sainath.

I am a serving person coming for Darshan all the way from punjab. Honest review is the place is sarine, however, the shop attatched in pic is a fraud or may be one of the frauds who will trick you to park vehicle in front of his shop in exchange of buying a puja thali in which only the Phool mala is allowed in and the devotee realises he gas been hoodwinked once he passes tgrough the security check in. The pile of such items at the gate assured that I am not the only one fallen for the trap. I can only suggest and request to buoycot such shops. For reference, this one is in the road just opposite to the senior citizen gate.

Full rating to Shri Saibaba 🙏🏻 No star for management they pay attention to peoples who have passes and VVIP and they do darshan in 20 min on average. Those who will be in free line there number will come after almost 4 hours. This is big scam bcz i checked local people they mention and comfirmed the same thing.

The temple premises is clean and well maintained. The prasadalay is also well maintained and you’re served food as much as you can eat. You’re not allowed waste any food. This rule should be applied everywhere so that people don’t water food. There is saying in Marathi - “Anna he purna Brahma”.

🌸 Shirdi Sai Baba: A Divine Beacon of Peace and Spiritual Awakening 🌸 In the sacred town of Shirdi, nestled in the heart of Maharashtra, stands a holy sanctuary — the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple — a place that transcends religion, caste, and creed. It is not just a temple made of stone and mortar; it is a living realm of divinity, compassion, and universal brotherhood. People from all walks of life, regardless of their background, are drawn here in search of peace, healing, and inner transformation. Sai Baba of Shirdi, revered as a Saint, Fakir, and Satguru, is the embodiment of love without conditions and faith without fear. His presence continues to inspire millions across the globe to lead lives rooted in truth, humility, and devotion. Baba never identified with any particular religion — he often said, "Sabka Malik Ek" — “God is One”. These simple yet profound words echo through time, reminding us that the divine resides in all beings. 🕊️ The World of Peace and Spiritual Harmony To step into the world of Sai Baba is to step into a space of deep inner stillness. His teachings were not filled with complex rituals or doctrines; rather, they focused on compassion, tolerance, patience, forgiveness, and faith. The very air of Shirdi carries a vibration of calmness and spiritual elevation, guiding the restless soul toward serenity. Baba taught us that true spirituality lies in selfless service, in helping others, in feeding the hungry, in comforting the grieving, and in uplifting the downtrodden. He saw no difference between rich and poor, Hindu and Muslim, or educated and uneducated — to him, all were children of the One Supreme Power. 🌿 Life Lessons from Sai Baba: Learning to Truly Live The timeless wisdom of Sai Baba is a guide to navigating the challenges of modern life with grace and dignity. Here are some of the most cherished lessons we can draw from his life: Shraddha (Faith) and Saburi (Patience): Baba constantly emphasized these two pillars. Have unshakeable faith in the Divine, and wait with patience; everything unfolds in its time. Love All, Serve All: He urged people to rise above ego and hatred and instead, serve humanity with love. Service to others is service to God. Forgive and Let Go: Holding on to anger or revenge only poisons the soul. Sai Baba often forgave even those who wronged him — a true lesson in humility and spiritual strength. Equality and Unity: Baba broke down all social and religious barriers. His very life was a message that we are all one, united under one Divine light. Contentment and Simplicity: He lived a humble life, teaching us to find joy not in material wealth, but in gratitude, simplicity, and inner contentment. --- 🙏 A Personal Journey with Baba For many devotees, Baba is more than a saint — he is a companion, guide, healer, and divine protector. Whether you're facing illness, emotional turmoil, or spiritual confusion, turning to Baba with a sincere heart brings light into the darkest moments. His presence is not bound by time or space. You may feel it in the stillness of a prayer, the kindness of a stranger, or the silent answers that come in meditation. Baba listens to every heart that calls him, and his grace flows silently yet powerfully. --- 🛕 In Closing: A Temple in the Heart While the Shirdi temple is a sacred pilgrimage for millions, the true temple of Baba is the human heart. When we live by his teachings — of love, service, and truth — we carry his spirit with us wherever we go. In doing so, we become channels of the very peace and light that Sai Baba offered to the world. May Sai Baba bless you and your loved ones with health, harmony, guidance, and unwavering faith. May his light shine on your path and lead you to the divine peace that resides within. 🕉️ Om Sai Ram! 🕉️

There are many gates to enter the temple but if you want to have a free darshan then enter from gate no. 7. The charge for VIP darshan is 200 rupees. You have to deposit your mobile in the clock room where the charge is 5 rupees per phone. You get darshan in 30 minutes. The management is very good, there is a provision to sit in the line inside and there is also a washroom and there is also a provision for many fan coller..

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is a peaceful and divine place to visit. Near Gate 6, you’ll find mobile lockers available for just Rs 5 per phone, along with free shoe stands. For free darshan, head to Gate 7, which you can reach from Dwarkamai Temple, if Dwarkamai is in front of you, go left and take the first right. You’ll pass the mobile lockers first, and then Gate 7 is right there. On weekends, the wait time for free darshan is usually around 3 hours, and the entire process can take 3-4 hours. We also visited once on a Monday morning around 6 AM, and it only took about 1.5 to 2 hours for the complete Darshan. If you prefer paid darshan, you can either book online in advance or book near temple, enter through Gate 6 when you arrive. Wait time is much lesser than free Darshan but it'll still take almost 2 if crowded. Inside the temple, there is usually some waiting time before darshan, so visitors are asked to sit in waiting halls. Opposite these halls, there’s a counter where you can get free unlimited tea and biscuits. They also sell chips and water at prices much lower than market rate. After darshan, don’t forget to pick up your free food coupons next to the neem tree. Near the exit, you will also receive packets of prasad and vibhooti. Additionally, there’s a laddu counter near the lendi garden entry, opposite the neem tree, where you can get the famous Shirdi laddu.

Lendi Garden, also known as Lendi Baug, is a colorful and serene garden located near Shirdi-Manmade State Highway. It holds great significance for devotees of Sai Baba, who used to spend time here resting under a Neem tree and watering the plants daily. The garden features a shrine with a burning lamp placed between two trees that were lit by Baba himself.
Well Maintained by Nagarapaleke Better if they would have taken care of the water stored and mudy near Sai and kid statue during rainy days.

Lendi Baug : This Baug - meaning a garden is where Sai Baba used to come to water plants every day and rest under a neem tree. Devotees believe that Sai Baba had dug a pit of 2 feet depth and had placed an earthen lamp in the pit. Today, a marble enclosure with a lamp inside remains lit at all times, in memory of many episodes of Sai and his followers. At the entrance of this park are Samadhis of Baba’s devotees - Abdul Baba, Tatya Kote Patil, Bhau Maharaj Kumbhar and Nanavalli. On a visit here, tourists can also visit Gurusthan which is one of the many other places to visit in Shirdi and is closely located. Location: Mauli Nagar. Timings: 4 am to 11 pm.

Lendi Baug is the Garden which is located inside the main temple towards main gate and adjacent to Highway. This is the Garden which was maintained by Sai Baba during those days, hence this become highly sacred and spiritual visiting place. Baba used to come here every morning and afternoon and rest under a Neem tree. Baba used to spend a lot of his time here watering the plants daily in the morning and Evenings. Attractions inside Lendi Baug: 1. Nanda Deep: This place contains the continuous lamp lit by Baba and placed between the two trees (Neem and Bodhi trees) he planted. Baba instructed Abdul Baba later the responsibility to see that the lamp keeps on burning. Till today its burning. 2. Datta Mandir: Datta Mandir is located a few feet away from Nanda Deep which is constructed below an Audumbar tree. Statue of Datta was installed in the Mandir on 6th December, 1976. 3. The Well: The well is given a nick name "Bukhi" by Baba which is beyond Nanda Deep. This Well was dug by Baba himself with the help of some devotees and he used to drink this well water in routine.

A Splashtastic Day at Wet N' Joy, Shirdi – Fun, Food, and Fantastic Service! Our visit to Wet N' Joy Water Park in Shirdi was an unforgettable experience packed with thrills, chills, and a whole lot of smiles! Right from the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm respect by the staff. What truly stood out was their professionalism and politeness—each team member was well-trained, well-mannered, and made sure everyone felt safe and valued, regardless of age or background. That level of hospitality deserves a big thumbs-up! 👍 The park itself was spotlessly clean, which is rare for such a large and busy space. Whether it was the changing rooms, washrooms, food counters, or ride areas—everything was maintained beautifully, reflecting how much the management prioritizes hygiene and customer comfort. 🎢 Now, let’s talk rides! From the Sky Fall that gives your stomach a ticklish flip, to the fun Boomerango that throws you into a splash of joy, every ride was a rollercoaster of laughter and excitement. The Lazy River offered a calm break as we floated with the gentle current, while the Wave Pool was a total blast—especially when the waves rolled in to cheers from the crowd. The family rides, kids’ play zones, and thrilling slides like the Free Fall and Tornado ensured that everyone—from toddlers to teens to adults—had something to enjoy. 🍽️ And then came the surprise—THE FOOD! The park served both Maharashtrian and Punjabi style lunches, and both were lip-smacking. The Maharashtrian  had authentic flavor, while the Punjabi Thali tasted like they were straight out of a dhaba! But the real highlight of the brunch for me was the Wadapav and their special tea. I rarely drink tea, but the aroma was so tempting, I simply couldn’t resist—and once I took a sip, I was hooked! It was rich, fragrant, and refreshing, the kind of tea that lingers in your memory. 🛟 The safety arrangements, life jackets, and security presence added to the sense of comfort, especially for families with children. Lockers and seating areas were well-arranged, and announcements kept us informed all day. 📌 Why 4 stars instead of 5? Just a small suggestion—adding a few more shaded areas and water bottle refill points would make the experience even better on a sunny day. Apart from that, everything was fantastic. 🎉 Overall, Wet N’ Joy is more than just a water park—it’s a perfectly planned celebration of joy, cleanliness, and care. Highly recommended for families, groups, and anyone looking to beat the heat in style!

That sounds like a fun day out! Wet N Joy Water Park in Shirdi is a very popular destination, especially since it's located right near the famous Sai Baba Temple, making it a great way to cool off after a spiritual visit. But entry is ok ... exit option should be changed

If you want to go to a water park near Shirdi, then this place is for you. Recently I visited Wet'n Joy Water Park. It's a huge park with 30+ slides and many more. Firstly, you have to book your tickets, and then you can enter into the park. As it was Saturday, the prices of tickets were high. They charge more price on weekends, i.e., Saturday and Sunday. Thus, we found their offer that if we book a combined ticket for Wet'n Joy Water Park and Sai Teerth Theme Park, then we book a combined ticket for both places. I was charged approximately 1700/- per person. But the charges for dress, i.e., the custom of the waterpark, have different charges for that 200/-, and the deposit is also 100/-. They have their shop for buying costumes and other accessories. Also in the park they have a restaurant so that we can have lunch or breakfast. We are very hungry; we also paid for the meal. They charge 200/- per thali, where we have two options of thali only, i.e., Maharashtrian and Punjabi. The only difference in the thali is the sabji, where in the Maharashtrian thali, shev bhaji is included, and in the Punjabi thali, paneer sabji. Thus, after paying all the charges, firstly we move towards the restaurant to have lunch. Also, one more thing: if you have to eat lunch in the park restaurant, you book tickets from the outside counter because if we ordered in the restaurant, they took more charges for that. So take a coupon for your food from the outside counter, not from the restaurant. In the restaurant there is a self-service. The seating area is large with high chairs. We gave them our order, and within 15 minutes our meal came. Quantity is good enough for a person, but the taste of food was not as good as expected. Please, friend, if you want to eat anything, eat from an outside restaurant but not from here. I get very disappointed with this restaurant. Then we chose the waterpark costume, and it took lots of time to select a perfect costume as per your size and preference. They have many costumes, but they didn't show you the best one, so choose accordingly. Then we entered the park and enjoyed the slides one by one. There are many more slides to enjoy: wave pool, raindance, twisting slides, lazy river and whatnot. Be careful while taking rides. There are many water waterpools. I found it very disappointing, as they start the wave pool for only 30 minutes during their staff lunchtime, and after some time, it means it is continuously running; it is run sometimes and only for half an hour. After some time, there is a live dance show performed by young girls and boys. Then in the wave pool there is a photographer hired by Wet'nJoy Water Park. They took your photo, and then you can get that photo from the counter of photographs, and these photos we get are paid for; it is not for free. All the staff were helpful. I like the most lazy river. Overall, my experience was good about the park. But about the restaurant, I don't find it good.

Wet N Joy Water Park, Shirdi - A Disappointing Experienc I visited today Wet N Joy Water Park in Shirdi, and it unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. The overall experience left me feeling like the park is not worth the amount we paid for. One of the first disappointments was the additional parking fee charged from customers. For an attraction that already has a substantial entry fee, charging extra for parking seems unnecessary. It feels like a tactic to extract more money from visitors, and I’ve seen this kind of approach in other so-called entertainment places too. The complementary food offered was far from satisfactory. Additionally, the staff seemed more interested in pushing their “combo pack” offers, which did not provide any value and felt more like a tactic to upsell. It left me feeling like the park was more focused on maximizing profit than providing a quality experience to its guests. On top of this, the rental fees for swimming attire and locker facilities were surprisingly high. These additional costs made the visit feel like a constant barrage of extra charges, which is frustrating after already paying for entry. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Wet N Joy Water Park, Shirdi. There are other places where you can find better value and a more enjoyable experience. This park did not live up to its promises and was overall not worth the money.

It features four different shows, including Teerth Yatra showcasing India's impressive temples, Dwarkamai about the mosque where Sai Baba lived, Sab Ka Malik Ek encapsulating the saint's life, and Lanka Dahan providing a 5-D experience of Hanuman's journey to Lanka.

Teerth yatra in toy train where you can get darshan of 10 pilgrim places like Siddhivinayak, Kedarnath, Meenakshi temple, jagannath Puri, Pandarpur, shirdi sai baba and many more 4. It is a beautifully done up space. Good for a day out. However I do have some pointers to share. 1. The entry fees is pretty high and yes it includes the shows. However the visitors should also have an option to choose between a few shows and not make it compulsory to go through it all. 2. The food and snacks is BAD legit BAD definitely need to work on that. 3. Area is neat and clean and well maintained but toilets could be better. Overall a good place for a one time visit :)

Visiting the Shirdi Teerth Theme Park was an unforgettable experience. The Dwarakamai Real Life Experience is incredible one of the most amazing inventions in India, making you feel like you’re truly living those divine moments. The architecture is exceptional, with every detail reflecting devotion and beauty, and the whole place feels peaceful yet grand. The staff here are some of the kindest people I’ve met Mr.Amul and Ms.Shivani, treating everyone with genuine warmth and support. A special thanks to Manager Yogesh, who personally helped me with such patience ,he’s truly an awesome person. Overall, it’s absolutely worth the money and a must-visit when in Shirdi. 🙏✨

Coming to 5D shows... the Lanka dehan was super amazing... the Teerth yatra was absolutely breathtaking. Make sure you have around 4 hours free to visit Sai theme park and there shops around for quick bites and snacks so don't need to carry much stuff to eat. The ticket is around 7-800, you hotel might give you some discount coupons. It's must visit place, highly recommended

Gondeshwar Mahadev Mandir Sinnar Nashik

Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Place of worship
Points of Interest & Landmarks
It is a very beautiful temple, it just needs a little maintenance as only local people worship here and no one has much knowledge about this temple. The architecture is very beautiful. There is a Shivling inside which is quite big and beautiful, you can sit comfortably and worship there and offer water. Very peaceful place.

My recent visit to Gondeshwar Mahadev Mandir in Sinnar was nothing short of a mesmerizing experience — one that I would strongly recommend to everyone, whether you are a devotee, a history enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates art and serenity. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, stands as a magnificent example of Hemadpanti architecture, crafted entirely from black stone without the use of any binding material. The precision and detailing in every carving left me awestruck. It’s incredible to think that such an architectural masterpiece has stood strong for nearly a thousand years, quietly narrating stories of devotion and craftsmanship through its stones. What truly makes the Gondeshwar temple special is its tranquil atmosphere. The moment you step inside, the chaos of the outside world fades away. The chants of “Om Namah Shivaya,” the cool stone under your feet, and the gentle breeze through the temple corridors create an almost meditative calm. The temple complex is clean and well-maintained, with an aura that instantly uplifts your spirit. The surroundings — lush greenery, peaceful ambiance, and the sight of the majestic Shikhara — make it a perfect place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you’re visiting from Nashik, Pune, or Mumbai, the drive to Sinnar is smooth and scenic, making it an ideal weekend getaway. I would wholeheartedly recommend visiting Gondeshwar Mahadev Mandir at least once in your lifetime — not just as a religious stop, but as a journey into India’s glorious spiritual and architectural heritage. It’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

Gondeshwar Mahadev Mandir Review I recently visited the Gondeshwar Mahadev Mandir in Sinnar, Nashik, and it was an amazing experience. The temple is ancient, built in the 11th-12th century, and its architecture is stunning. Pros: - Beautiful carvings and sculptures - Peaceful atmosphere, perfect for meditation - Less crowded compared to other temples - Rich history and cultural significance Overall: A must-visit for history buffs and those seeking peace. The temple's beauty and tranquility will leave you feeling calm and inspired. Rating:4.7/5 stars Recommended for: History enthusiasts, peace seekers, and architecture lovers.

The temple is beautifully preserved and has a calm, spiritual energy that makes you want to just sit quietly and take it all in. The surroundings are peaceful and less crowded, which makes it a perfect spot for those who love history, photography, and serenity. Overall, Gondeshwar Temple is a hidden historical treasure that reflects India’s rich heritage and craftsmanship. A must-visit place for anyone exploring Nashik and nearby areas!

A very important temple (complex) for a history or archeology lover. Of course, also for a lover of God pr Goddess, this place is special. Governments can take care of the complex, with little more effort, don’t need to make this a tourist attraction, let this be a spiritual location.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Gondeshwar Mahadev Mandir in Sinner, and it was truly one of the most enriching and powerful experiences. This temple is not just a place of worship but also a living testimony of India’s glorious past in terms of architecture, sculpture, and spiritual heritage. Nestled in Sinner, Nashik, the Gondeshwar temple is considered the largest and most complete example of the Hemadpanthi style of architecture, dating back to the 12th century. The moment you step inside the premises, you can instantly feel the positive and divine energy surrounding the temple. The calmness, serenity, and spiritual vibrations of the place make it stand apart. What impressed me most is how well the ancient architectural knowledge has been preserved here. Every single sculpture, pillar, and carving speaks of the artistic mastery of ancient India. The temple is built entirely out of black basalt stone without the use of mortar, which itself is a reflection of the brilliant construction techniques used nearly 900 years ago. The main shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva, with a beautifully carved Shivlinga at the sanctum, but the temple complex also houses shrines of Lord Vishnu, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Parvati, and Lord Surya, making it a rare panchayatana style temple. The symmetrical layout and precise detailing are simply breathtaking. Walking around, you can see intricate sculptures depicting episodes from Hindu mythology, animals, floral patterns, and artistic motifs that show how advanced the craftsmen were during that era. Historically, it is believed that the temple was constructed during the reign of the Yadava dynasty in the 11th–12th century, under the architectural guidance of Hemadri Pandit, who introduced the Hemadpanthi style. The temple has stood the test of time and remains intact despite invasions and natural wear, which adds to its significance as a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). What I loved most was how this temple offers more than just architectural beauty. It gives you a feeling of deep connection with history and spirituality. You can feel the powerful vibes while meditating or simply sitting inside the temple courtyard. The peaceful environment around it makes it a perfect spot for those who seek tranquility and spiritual refreshment. Visiting Gondeshwar Mahadev Mandir is like traveling back in time. It is a must-visit for history lovers, devotees, architecture enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to witness India’s rich cultural heritage. The temple is very well maintained, and ASI’s efforts in preserving this gem are commendable. If you are in or around Nashik, make sure to include this temple in your travel list. It is not just a place of worship but also a historical monument that represents the soul of ancient India. Gondeshwar Mahadev Mandir is a place where faith, history, and art come together beautifully.

Gondeshwar Mahadev Mandir is an ancient temple located in Sinnar, near Nashik, Maharashtra. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the best-preserved examples of Hemadpanti architecture, built around the 11th–12th century during the Yadava dynasty. The temple is constructed entirely of black stone and features a panchayatan style — with the main shrine of Lord Shiva surrounded by smaller shrines dedicated to Vishnu, Ganesha, Parvati, and Surya. The intricate carvings, detailed sculptures, and symmetrical design make it a significant example of medieval Indian temple art.

Excellent museum. Very close from Nashik. In city of Sinnar but one should definitely visit it when around this place. They have many varieties of stones collected from mostly Maharashtra, but also India and other countries. As a matter of fact, also from moon, Mars and asteroid. The guide gave good information and that told how it is maintained and how different patterns are recognized. Lots of shapes n colors and sizes for the stones. Even the idols made of these stones. This was a very good place. Even good for school picnics

Ticket price is little costly as compared to Nashik place. The Gargoti Museum houses the largest & the finest collection of Indian Indian zeolite minerals and crystals in the world. It is divided into two galleries namely Deccan Plateau Gallery and Prestige Gallery. There are 2 floors in the museum and has vast collection of minerals and crystals. It is located 32 km from Nashik on Nashik-Shirdi highway in a town named Sinnar.[3] The museum's displays include:[4] Natural Crystals Zeolites, Minerals Gem Stones Precious Stones & Metals Semi-Precious Stones & Metals Fossils Statues Handicrafts Secondly avoid purchasing anything from here if you don't have subject knowledge because you might feels certain things are too much costly.

Nandur Madhyameshwar Wildlife Sanctuary

Bird watching area
Nature preserve
Nandur Madhyameshwar Bird Sanctuary, located in a wetland area, boasts trails and watchtowers that provide shelter for various bird species such as white storks, flamingos, and ibis. This sanctuary is highly recommended for bird watching enthusiasts, especially during the early morning hours. Visitors can marvel at a diverse range of national and international migratory birds from December to January.
Heaven for birdwatchers. You can see thousands of birds in the winter season. Count of flemingo is in doubt. Because in 2024 they visited 12-13 numbers only. The forest department managed this in a well manner. Per person 50rs ticket, 20 for parking and 50 for binoculars. They provide binoculars is the best thing. There are mainly 3 watch towers. And you can see thousands of birds from these 3 watch towers. They are in line and parallel to the backwater. Winter is the best season to visit because many migratory birds visit this place in winter. Painted stork, frey heron, and plenty of ducks are the main attraction. Must visit this place.
Kedar D — Google review
While there is some merit in this being called the "Bharatpur of Maharashtra", I sincerely feel that is more of an emotional appeal than an actual understanding of the place. The approach road is in terrible condition at patches, so factor that in while getting here for more travel time. The Birdwatching towers overlook the wetlands, but most of them have thorny shrubs growing at the entrance very densely, making it impossible to enter. The larger watchtowers can accommodate multiple Birdwatchers, but are placed a fair distance from the best areas of the wetlands. If you're coming here with anything less than a 500mm lens, you will be relying more on luck than opportunities. I still give it a 5 star rating in the hope that things get better over time, but have given an honest review that should help people coming here set expectations accordingly.

During migratory seasons you can spot varied species of birds. Telescopic binoculars (which are available with local guides at the entrance) are a must to see the birds as you won't be able to appreciate them with naked eye.
Mahendra M — Google review
The Nandur Madhmeshwar Bird Sanctuary, located in Maharashtra’s Nashik District, is often referred to as the “Bharatpur of Maharashtra.” Recognized as the state’s first Ramsar site, this wetland was formed by the construction of the Nandur Madhmeshwar Dam between 1907 and 1913. The dam, built at the confluence of the Godavari and Kadwa rivers, was designed to supply irrigation water to the districts of Nashik, Ahmednagar, and Aurangabad and underwent reconstruction in 2008. Spanning 1,765 hectares, the sanctuary is a rich haven of biodiversity, hosting 536 species of aquatic and terrestrial plants, eight mammal species, 265 species of birds, 24 species of freshwater fish, and 41 butterfly species. The landscape features 23 pristine lakes and numerous smaller ponds, forming the foundation of a thriving wetland ecosystem. Recognized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the sanctuary plays a crucial role in supporting waterfowl and various aquatic species, contributing to global biodiversity conservation. Visitors can experience the natural symphony of bird calls echoing throughout the sanctuary, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and birdwatchers. The sight of large gatherings of night herons is particularly striking. Though the visitor facilities are satisfactory, the sanctuary could benefit from better on-site interpretation. Local products are available at a few shops run by the Eco-Development Committee (EDC). However, the wetland faces challenges from invasive species like water hyacinth and typha weeds. Trained nature guides are available to enhance the visitor experience, and while the area can be accessed via trekking paths, patrolling is conducted through kayaking. Witnessing the sunrise amid the chirping of birds adds to the sanctuary’s allure, offering a truly enchanting experience for wildlife enthusiasts.

One of THE best, most beautiful, unforgettable bird sanctuary. We get totally carried away by materialistic life & go by what is marketed. Hence, later on, our children follow us & all get spoiled. This place is so near to Nashik & so natural you will remember it for life time. The best season is between October to March & timing is morning, 7 pm to 6 pm. Nestled in the heart of Nashik, Sita Gufa is a captivating small cave that holds significant religious importance for devotees and tourists alike. Located just 2.7 km from the Nashik Central Bus Station, it lies near the revered Kalaram Temple in the Panchavati area, making it an essential stop on any pilgrimage journey.
Sita Gufa, located in the Panchavati area of Nashik, is a place of profound historical and religious significance. This cave is believed to be the spot where Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, was abducted by the demon king Ravana, making it an essential part of the Ramayana epic.

Sita Gufa (also spelled Sita Gumpha or Gupha) is a small, revered cave located in Panchavati, Nashik—just around 2.7 km from Nashik Central Bus Station and near the iconic Kalaram Temple . ⸻ 🌟 Significance & Mythology • As per Hindu tradition, this cave is where Sita worshipped Lord Shiva during the 14-year exile of Lord Rama, and it’s believed to be the very site where the abduction by Ravana took place . • Inside, you’ll find idols of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and an ancient Shivling—a focal point for daily devotees . ⸻ 🕰️ Timings & Entry • Open Daily: Approximately from 6 AM to 8 PM • Entry Fee: Nominal (₹1/per person as per my visit on dtd.24.06.2025) . ⸻ 📍 Location & Access • Situated in the spiritual precinct of Panchavati—a place steeped in Ramayana lore, known for the legendary five banyan trees (Panch Vata) from which it derives its name . • Easily reachable by foot from Kalaram Temple, or via local buses, auto-rickshaws, or personal vehicle . ⸻ 🕵️ What to Expect • A narrow stone staircase leads into a compact cave with dim lighting—you can easily visit within 15–20 minutes . • Inside there’s a serene atmosphere with carved idols and spiritual relics. The Shivling on the left offers a focal point for worship . • It’s recommended to avoid it if you’re uncomfortable in tight, confined, or crowded spaces; accessibility might be a concern for those with mobility or breathing issues (). ⸻ 🔎 Nearby Attractions A visit to Sita Gufa pairs well with many nearby spiritual and cultural sites: • Kalaram Temple (dedicated to Rama, Sita, Lakshmana) is just a short walk away . • Ramkund, the holy riverfront bathing ghat on the Godavari, sits about 500 m from the cave . • Other spots in Panchavati connected to the Ramayana include Laxman Rekha and Parn Kuti . ⸻ 📝 Tips for Visitors • Visit early morning for a quiet and devotional experience, possibly catching the soft morning light in the cave . • Dress modestly, and wear comfortable footwear—some areas near the cave can be uneven . • Bring water and snacks; nearby food options are limited . • Follow temple decorum—no loud noise, photography restrictions may apply in sacred zones (). ⸻ 🧭 Summary Sita Gufa offers a powerful yet compact spiritual experience: a mythologically charged site, rich in Ramayana legend, conveniently located in Nashik’s Panchavati region. Whether you’re a devotee or just curious, it’s a must‑visit to connect with India’s epic history—and it pairs beautifully with other nearby temples and holy spots. Would you like details on guided tours, maps, or nearby accommodations? Happy to help!

A Peaceful & Spiritually Rich Experience at Sita Gufa, Nashik I recently visited Sita Gufa (also spelled Sita Gumpha) in Nashik, and it was a meaningful stop—especially for those interested in Indian mythology and spirituality. Located in the Panchavati area, this small cave is believed to be the spot where Sita was abducted by Ravana, a key moment in the Ramayana. The site itself is small but carries deep religious and historical importance. You’ll need to crouch or crawl slightly to enter the cave, as it’s quite narrow, so it may not be suitable for elderly visitors or those with mobility issues. Inside, you’ll find idols of Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman, along with a Shivling that’s said to have been worshipped by them during their exile. The cave has a peaceful, devotional atmosphere. It’s dimly lit but clean, and despite its size, it doesn’t feel rushed. Outside the cave, there are priests and staff available who can explain the significance of the place. There’s no entry fee, though donations are welcome. You’ll need to remove your footwear, and large bags or water bottles aren’t allowed inside. Photography is generally restricted inside the cave area. Do note that weekends and religious festivals can be crowded, so visiting on a weekday morning may offer a more peaceful experience. That said, even when it’s busy, the line usually moves at a steady pace. It’s also located near several other important religious sites like Ramkund, Kalaram Temple, and Kapaleshwar Mandir, so it’s easy to include in a local pilgrimage or cultural tour. ✅ Highlights: * Deeply rooted in Ramayana history * Clean and well-maintained * Peaceful atmosphere inside the cave * Live priest guidance available * Located in the heart of Panchavati * No entry fee (donations welcome) ⚠️ Things to keep in mind: * Very narrow entrance—requires crouching * Not ideal for elderly or claustrophobic visitors * Footwear must be removed * No photos or water bottles allowed inside * Can be crowded on weekends and religious days Overall, Sita Gufa is a short but spiritually enriching stop in Nashik. Whether you're a devotee or someone exploring India's mythological landmarks, it's worth visiting for the atmosphere and historical context alone.

Sita Gufa is a sacred and historical cave linked to the Ramayana. It is believed to be the place where Sita was abducted by Ravana. The cave is small, and visitors must bend to enter, making it a unique experience. Inside, there are idols of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana, along with a Shivlinga. The place is peaceful, but it can get crowded. Parking is available, and nearby temples add to the spiritual vibe. A must-visit for devotees and history lovers!

I came here for the first time, and honestly, it felt like walking into a page of history. We’ve all seen the story of Lord Ram’s vanvas on TV or in movies — but visiting Sita Gufa made it feel real and alive. The cave is small and quite deep, so not everyone can go inside easily. But once you’re in, there’s a peaceful murti of Bhagwan Shri Ram placed inside — simple yet very divine. This spot is located in Panchvati, near Ram Ghat, right inside Nashik city. The surroundings are spiritual and calm. If you truly want to feel connected to Ramayan in a real way — this place is a must-visit.

Sita Gufa, Nashik Sita Gufa (also called Sita Gumpha or Sita Cave) is a sacred and historically important site located in Panchavati, Nashik. It holds great significance in the Ramayana, as it is believed to be the place where Goddess Sita lived during her exile with Lord Rama and where Ravana abducted her. The cave is small and narrow, and visitors have to crawl or bend down to enter, which adds a unique spiritual feel to the place. Inside, you’ll find idols of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana, along with a symbolic Shivling that they are believed to have worshipped. Surrounded by ancient trees and located in the holy Panchavati area (which literally means “garden of five banyan trees”), the site attracts a large number of devotees and tourists. The atmosphere is devotional and deeply connected to the Ramayana era, making it an important pilgrimage spot in Nashik.

Visited today. Main gate is under construction. Maa Sita Gufa is situated in Panchavati, Nashik, a place closely associated with the Ramayana. It is near the Godavari River and surrounded by other temples and sites of importance. It is believed that Maa Sita, along with Lord Rama Ji and Lakshmana Ji, stayed here during their 14-year exile . According to legend, Maa Sita used this cave as a place of refuge. It is also believed to be where Ravana abducted her after disguising himself as a mendicant.

Sita Gufa (Sita Cave) is a famous religious and historical site located in Panchvati, Nashik, Maharashtra. It is believed to be the place where Goddess Sita, wife of Lord Rama, lived during their 14-year exile (vanvas) and from where she was abducted by Ravana according to the Ramayana. The cave is small and narrow, with steep steps leading inside. Inside the Gufa (cave), there are idols of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lord Lakshmana, along with a symbolic Shivling, which the trio is said to have worshipped during their stay. The sacred five banyan trees (Panchvati) nearby gave the area its name. Visitors often feel a deep spiritual connection here, as the site carries a strong mythological and devotional atmosphere. The surroundings are peaceful, with nearby attractions like the Kalaram Temple, Tapovan, and the Godavari River ghats, making it a popular pilgrimage stop in Nashik. Overall, Sita Gufa is a must-visit for devotees and history lovers alike — a place where faith, mythology, and ancient heritage beautifully come together.

Shree Kalaram Mandir Sansthan is a magnificent 19th-century Hindu temple located in the Panchavati area of Nashik, Maharashtra. Dedicated to Lord Rama, the temple houses an intricate black stone idol of the deity inside its sanctum sanctorum. The temple is a significant pilgrimage site and a must-visit destination in Nashik tour packages. Its classical architecture reflects the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Visiting the Kala Ram Temple in Nashik was truly a special experience for me. The moment I entered the temple premises, I felt a sense of peace and calm that’s hard to put into words. The temple is beautifully built from black stone — simple yet incredibly powerful in its presence. It’s not just a place of worship, but a space that holds centuries of history and emotion. What stood out most to me was how well-maintained the temple is, and how serene the environment felt even though it's located in a bustling part of the city. There’s a deep spiritual energy here, and taking a few quiet moments inside the sanctum really helped me reconnect with myself. I also found the historical significance of the temple very moving — especially its role in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s movement. It made me reflect on the layers of culture and social change that places like this carry silently through time. I took some photos around the temple — the stone carvings and temple facade are absolutely worth capturing. The best time to visit is early morning or around sunset when the light makes everything look even more beautiful. Whether you're visiting Nashik for religious reasons, sightseeing, or just exploring, I highly recommend spending some time at Kala Ram Temple. It’s not just a tourist spot — it’s a place that stays with you.

A divine experience at Shree Kalaram Mandir, Panchavati, Nashik! (श्री काळाराम मंदिर, पंचवटी, नाशिक) Visiting Shree Kalaram Mandir felt like stepping into pure peace. The moment you enter, the calmness of the temple and the powerful presence of Lord Ram instantly touch your heart. The architecture is elegant, the surroundings are clean, and the atmosphere is filled with devotion. What I loved the most was the simplicity and discipline maintained inside the premises - no chaos, just pure spiritual energy. The black stone idol of Lord Ram is truly mesmerizing and gives a sense of strength and serenity at the same time.

😊🙏Last week I visited the famous Kalaram Mandir in Nashik. It’s one of the most peaceful and beautiful temples I have ever seen. The atmosphere inside is very calm and spiritual — I truly felt positive energy there. The temple is dedicated to Lord Rama, and the name Kalaram means Black Rama because the idol of Lord Rama here is made of black stone. The temple’s architecture is made of black stones and looks really royal and traditional. Nashik itself is a city full of temples and historical places. It’s known for its rich culture and spiritual vibes. There are many beautiful places to explore, and Kalaram Mandir is one of the most popular and must-visit temples among them. If you ever come to Nashik, don’t miss visiting this temple — it truly gives peace and divine feelings. 🙏

We had been Kala Ram mandir just before Diwali and I feel that’s the best time to have darshan because there is no crowd or rush! Pleasant and peaceful darshan! There was renovation work going on at the entrance gate of the temple when we visited. Located in the heart of old Nashik this is an ancient temple and a must visit when you are in Nashik!

Beautiful blend of history, spirituality, and architecture! Naroshankar Temple is one of the must-visit places in Nashik. Situated right on the banks of the Godavari River, the temple has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The stone carvings and sculptures on the walls are amazing and showcase the fine artistry of the 18th century. The famous Naroshankar bell (Ghanta) here is a unique attraction with its own historic story connected to the Peshwa era. The riverside view makes the visit even more special, especially during early mornings and evenings. The temple is usually not overly crowded, so you can spend time peacefully. Clean surroundings and the spiritual vibes make it a perfect spot for both devotees and tourists. Definitely worth visiting if you are in Nashik!

Sula Vineyards, located in Nashik, about 180 kilometers northeast of Mumbai, is a renowned winery celebrated for its diverse grape wine varietals such as Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Zinfandel. What began as a modest 30-acre estate has now expanded to cover nearly 1800 acres across Nashik and Karnataka. This expansive estate welcomes visitors every day of the year to indulge in wine tasting and vineyard tours.
Sula Vineyards is such a fun and chill place to hang out. The lights and colorful chairs make the vibe really cool at night. Food and wine together taste just perfect here. It’s a nice spot whether you’re with friends or family. The wine truck and gift shop add a quirky touch. Truly a place where you feel the Sula life!

I recently visited Sula Vineyards with my family 🍇👫, and honestly, it was a wonderful experience even though none of us are wine drinkers 🚫🍷. Many people think Sula is only about wine tasting, but that’s not true — there’s plenty to enjoy without touching a wine glass. The lush green vineyards 🌿, open landscapes 🏞️, and calm ambience ✨ make it an excellent spot for a relaxing getaway. The property is very well-maintained, with lots of open spaces to walk around, click photos 📸🌸, and simply enjoy the fresh air. It truly feels like an escape from the busy city life. The entry fee is ₹1000 per person on weekends and ₹600 on weekdays 💰. The good part is that you get coupons of the same value, which can be redeemed inside at the restaurant or café 🍴. We used ours for food, and while the taste and quality were excellent 😋, the food items are a little on the expensive side 💸. Still, it balances out since the entry fee coupons cover a good part of the cost. Since we didn’t opt for wine tasting, our time was spent exploring the vineyard, enjoying the atmosphere, and relaxing over a family meal. The only drawback was that service can be a bit slow ⏳, and yes, prices are slightly premium. In short: Even if you don’t drink, Sula is still a beautiful, family-friendly place to visit — peaceful, scenic, and a memorable outing! 💫😊

The prices is ₹1000 per head on weekends and 600 on weekdaysfor entry. One can expend this rs 600 in restaurant or wine tasting vum factory visit. The tour is really good and the tasting is fun with well learned guide. 7 types of wines given for tasting.

Sula Vineyards is an absolutely nashik to-do destination, especially if you visit during the late afternoon or evening. We visited on a sunny October evening, and the atmosphere was perfect. The sun setting over the vineyards cast a beautiful golden glow, making for incredible photos and a wonderfully relaxing experience. The expansive grounds are beautifully maintained, offering a tranquil escape from the city hustle. We ordered food bites and enjoyed on the patio overlooking the rows of grapes. The energy in the evening is perfect—lively enough to feel festive, but peaceful enough to enjoy the view and conversation. Whether you're a serious wine enthusiast or just looking for a beautiful spot to unwind and watch the sunset, Sula provides a top-notch experience. Highly recommended for a romantic evening or a chill gathering with friends

We visited Sula Vineyards on a public holiday, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience! On weekends and public holidays, the entry fee is ₹1000 per person, while on weekdays it’s ₹700, which you can fully redeem for food, shopping, or wine tasting—like a prepaid coupon. The property is absolutely stunning, perfect for clicking beautiful pictures amidst the vineyards. We started our visit with a photo session and then headed for lunch. The food was good, though a bit on the expensive side. Post lunch, we opted for the wine tasting and tour (₹700 per person). The tour started with a short video and a factory walkthrough, where the process was explained in detail by their knowledgeable guide. This was followed by a tasting session of six different wines, one after another, which really helped us decide which wine to buy. Overall, Sula Vineyards is a must-visit place, whether with friends or family. It offers a perfect mix of scenic beauty, good food, and a delightful wine-tasting experience.

Visited Sula Vineyards and tasted 6 types of wines — the place was amazing and the overall experience was superb! 🍷 The ambiance and staff were great. However, there’s a small issue with their pricing. They provide ₹1000 worth of coupons (₹200 x 5), but for the vineyard factory visit and wine tasting ticket (₹700), only ₹600 can be redeemed, and ₹100 has to be paid extra. They don’t actually provide ₹100 coupons, which feels a bit misleading in their marketing. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful place and definitely worth visiting once!

Good place to unwind for people travelling to Nashik. Photography points are adequate. The wine tour is good and tasting is a personal choice, since wine is an acquired taste. Their dessert wine Moscato is quite fruity and tastes good. Cover charges are Rs. 1000 on weekends and 600 on weekdays. Wine tasting is Rs. 600 inclusive of tour, only winery tour is 200/- In house restaurants are good but a bit on the pricier side.

If you're in Nashik, a visit to Sula Vineyard is an experience you just can't miss. The place has a vibe that instantly makes you feel like you've stepped into a different world - calm, green, and full of life. The entry fee is ₹600 per person, and the best part is that you can fully redeem it at the restaurant, wine shop, or for wine tasting. In fact, Sula proudly says that for many visitors, their first-ever wine tasting happens right here. Walking through the vineyard feels exciting at every step from the giant wine bottle installations and the upside-down wine pyramid, to the quirky cycles and the beautiful grape farms, it's a place where you'll keep wanting to take pictures. The wine shop is airy and well set up, while the restaurant upstairs is the perfect spot to sit back with a glass of wine. We tried their pizza with wine in the afternoon, and with the vineyard view stretching out in front of us, it felt refreshing and peaceful. Overall, Sula Vineyard is more than just about wine - it's about the whole atmosphere, the views, and the experience. Whether you're here for food, photos, or your first glass of wine, it's a place that will leave you smiling

This is my first visit to York Winery. Overall the place is lovely, not as commercialised as Sula. Love the wine and food options. Commercial place with 500 INR coupons pp. The coupons needs to be redeem in restaurant or shop. Food is good with good ambience in the restaurant. It’s a restaurant in the name of wine tasting facility, nice and systematic way of using loopholes in the law books by almost all wineries in the area.

After waiting for an hour they refused to do testing ...when I asked why then they said some registration is required... I suggest donot waste time going there... you can visit any wine shop to get the same experience...Hope cheaters (owners) must have become rich by stealing 500 rs from me

Nice and relaxing place. For those who want to get to a location near yet far from the city & it's noise this place is good wine & dine. The food is decent nothing that stands out or a must have but a wide majority come here for the subtle ambience of open lawn evening sitting, soft background music which isn't overwhelming & those like their grapes in a certain manner. Parking for 30-40 odd four wheelers is possible. There was a good balcony view of the dam backwaters from the main building but now that is being obstructed by a new building.

We visited the York winery during our stay in Nashik. Being our first visit to a winery, we found the place to no other visitors other than ourselves. The parking lot was open and spacious. One needs to purchase a coupon for Rs.300 per person, that can be redeemed inside the winery. We went for the wine tasting tour. It costed us Rs.300 per person which was redeemed using the coupon. Our tour guide Mr. Sameer was knowledgeable and well spoken. After the tour ended, we visited the restaurant for a quick bite. We ordered french fries, the food was tasty and the portion size was huge. The place was clean and maintained well. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit to this place. Would surely recommend.

The Coin Museum, also known as Shanti-Krishna Museum of Money and History, is an underrated attraction in Nashik located near Grape County. Aside from showcasing the history of Indian coins, visitors can also see fossils, archaeological finds and miniature paintings on display. The museum is well-maintained and has a beautiful architecture that makes for a great spot to chill out.
The Coin Museum, also known as the Shanti-Krishna Museum of Money and History, is a hidden gem that offers an immersive journey into the evolution of money and India’s rich cultural heritage. Located amidst serene surroundings, it is one of the very few museums that documents the entire timeline of currency—from the barter systems of the Stone Age to the paper notes of modern India. What makes this museum stand out is its private ownership, which reflects clearly in its pristine upkeep, organized layout, and thoughtful presentation. The ticketing counter at the entrance also features a small shop where visitors can purchase books, replicas, and memorabilia related to coins and money, making it a good spot for collectors and history enthusiasts alike. The museum opens with a captivating display of prehistoric pottery, Stone Age tools, and unearthed idols, offering a glimpse into ancient civilization and early life. Particularly engaging is the section on the Indus Valley Civilization, which sheds light on the lifestyle, trade, and societal structure of that era through well-preserved artifacts. As visitors move ahead, they are introduced to the oldest known coins, some dating as far back as the 6th century BCE. Each coin is accompanied by detailed information about its origin, ruling empire, and regional influence, offering valuable insights into India's complex numismatic history. A highlight of the experience is the display of ancient minting techniques, including a dummy coin-casting model that brings to life the intricate process of early coin production. Particularly fascinating are the life-sized models depicting coin-making techniques during the Mughal era, showcasing tools, personnel roles, and minting practices. These exhibits extend to show regional currencies from independent kingdoms across North, Deccan, and South India, providing a comprehensive understanding of how trade and economy varied across the subcontinent. There’s also a brilliant showcase of Gupta-era gold coins, inscribed metal currencies, and post-independence demonetized notes, including the elusive ₹10,000 currency note, offering a rare visual archive of India’s financial evolution. Beyond coins, the museum surprises visitors with an entire floor dedicated to India's artistic and cultural heritage. Exhibits include film-making art, life-sized musical instruments, tribal and folk art, and an array of traditional headgear from various Indian regions. A separate section creatively presents the traditional Indian card games and puppetry, further cementing the museum as a multifaceted cultural hub. In totality, the Shanti-Krishna Museum is a storehouse of information—a space that bridges India's economic history with its rich cultural tapestry. It's an ideal destination for families, students, and curious minds, and a must-visit in your itinerary if you're eager to explore India beyond just monuments and landmarks.

This is a private collection and museum not government run so it is a bit clean also. It may be useful and interesting for the senior children or college kids who have interest. It would take an hour or 2 if interested or 10 to 30 minutes to browse through. It is a small collection of coins, but also has rocks, few paintings, photos, some random items not related to coins. Good place to spend some time. No public transport even though it is on the bus route.

Shree Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva, featuring a sacred pond believed to be the origin of the Godavari River. The temple is set in a picturesque area surrounded by lush greenery and clouds, offering a mesmerizing experience for visitors. It provides well-organized waiting areas with amenities such as drinking water and restrooms, ensuring that even long queues are manageable.
Went for a weekend ride from Mumbai. To have a blessings from him. This place holds a divine energy. It was a surreal feeling when you see him with your own eyes. I went on Sunday so I was waiting for 4 hrs in queue. Although, there is a special pass entry available to save your time and have a quick darshan. The place and market area seems to be always busy. Overall best experience. Recommended to everyone to feel the energy. Also this place is located in a hilly area surrounded by greenery, dam & mountains from all over the side. So riding till this place through the mountains, forests and passing by small beautiful village makes your journey most scenic and beautiful. Definately enjoyed the climate. Accomodations are available from reasonable to luxury rates as it is one of the Jyotirlinga. One of the best getaway place to take a break from city life and feel the slow living life of villages.

My visit to Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra was a truly spiritual and memorable experience. The temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, and its divine atmosphere fills every visitor with peace and devotion. The moment I entered the temple premises, I felt a deep sense of calmness and positivity. The architecture of the temple is ancient and beautifully carved from black stone, reflecting India’s rich heritage and devotion toward Lord Shiva. The surroundings of the temple are clean and well-organized. The management and security arrangements are good, ensuring that devotees can have darshan smoothly. The queue system is maintained properly, and volunteers are always available to guide visitors. The priests perform the rituals with great sincerity, and one can easily participate in puja or abhishek if desired. The sound of bells and chants creates a peaceful and divine atmosphere inside the temple. Outside the temple, there are many shops selling flowers, prasad, and religious items. The local people are polite and helpful. The natural beauty around Trimbakeshwar, especially the nearby hills and the origin of the sacred Godavari River, adds to the spiritual charm of the place. Overall, Trimbakeshwar Temple, Nashik is a must-visit destination for devotees and tourists alike. It offers not only a strong spiritual experience but also peace, positivity, and a glimpse into India’s deep cultural and religious roots.

Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, making it a cornerstone of Shaivite pilgrimage. Surrounded by the Brahmagiri hills and the origin point of the sacred Godavari River, the temple offers a deeply spiritual and scenic experience. 🌄 Highlights of the Experience: Sacred Jyotirlinga: The temple houses a unique linga representing the Trimurti—Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh—symbolizing cosmic unity. Mythological Legacy: Associated with sage Gautama Maharishi and the descent of the Godavari, the temple is steeped in ancient lore. Architectural Beauty: Built in black stone in the Hemadpanthi style, the temple features intricate carvings and a serene courtyard. Rituals and Pujas: Known for powerful ceremonies like Kaal Sarp Dosh Puja, Narayan Nagbali, and Tripindi Shradh, performed by learned priests. Atmosphere: The air is thick with devotion, chants, and the scent of incense, creating a meditative ambiance. Surroundings: The Brahmagiri hills offer trekking opportunities and panoramic views, enhancing the spiritual journey. Accessibility: Well-connected by road from Nashik, with ample accommodation options nearby. 🕉️ Mood and Legacy: Visiting Trimbakeshwar feels like stepping into a timeless realm where mythology, nature, and devotion converge. The temple doesn’t just offer darshan—it invites introspection and renewal. Whether you're a pilgrim or a seeker of peace, Trimbakeshwar leaves a lasting imprint on the soul.

My visit to Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga was spiritually satisfying, and the darshanam experience itself was quite good. The highlight of the temple is its stunning Hemadpanti architecture from the Balaji Baji Rao period of the Maratha Empire, which gives the entire place a historic and divine charm. The ancient stone structure and peaceful atmosphere inside the sanctum make the visit truly memorable. However, the development around the temple definitely needs improvement. One noticeable inconvenience is the long distance between the donation (special darshan) ticket counter and the main temple entrance. This walk can be tiring, especially for elderly devotees, and better planning would help ease the process. In terms of waiting time, free darshan on Mondays takes around 3 hours, which is expected due to the heavy rush. If you choose the ₹200 donation/special darshan, the waiting time reduces to about 1 hour, making it a more manageable option for many visitors. The main drawback is the lack of cleanliness in the surroundings within roughly 100 meters of the temple. The area could be much cleaner and better maintained, especially considering the significance of the shrine and the steady flow of devotees. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive. The divine atmosphere and historic beauty of the temple make it worth visiting, and with a few improvements, the experience could be even better.

Visiting Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling in Nashik was an unforgettable spiritual experience. The temple holds immense significance as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, and you can truly feel the divine energy the moment you enter the premises. The ancient architecture, the rhythmic chants, and the overall atmosphere create a powerful sense of devotion. Despite the crowds, the management is fairly organized, and the darshan line moves smoothly. The priests are helpful and guide you properly during the rituals. The surroundings are scenic, with lush greenery and the sacred Godavari River origin nearby, which adds even more beauty to the visit. Early morning darshan is especially peaceful and gives you the best experience. If you’re in or around Nashik, Trimbakeshwar is a must-visit not just for religious reasons, but for the calmness and spiritual connection the place naturally brings. 🙏

Trimbakeshwar Temple is a very beautiful and peaceful place. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, which is located in Nashik, Maharashtra. When I went there, I felt a different kind of positive energy. The temple area is clean, and the environment is full of devotion. I waited for almost 5 hours for darshan, but when I finally saw Lord Shiva’s Jyotirlinga, all the tiredness disappeared. It was such a powerful and emotional moment that I will never forget in my life. The sound of “Har Har Mahadev” everywhere fills your heart with peace. People are very calm and respectful inside the temple. The priests guide nicely, and everything is well managed. Behind the temple, there is a small river, and the view there is just amazing. The water is so clear and peaceful. You can feed the fish, and when you sit near the river, your mind becomes completely calm. The mountains around the place make it even more beautiful. It is truly a place where you can feel peace, faith, and positivity together. A must-visit place for everyone who believes in God and inner peace. 🙏 Har Har Mahadev! 🙏

The temple is well-maintained, and the arrangements for darshan are smooth and organised. Surrounded by the scenic mountains of Trimbak, the natural beauty adds to the serenity of the place. The vibes are pure, calming, and spiritually uplifting. A visit to Trimbakeshwar not only brings you closer to Lord Shiva but also leaves you with a sense of inner peace and positivity. A must-visit destination for every devotee and spiritual seeker. Highly recommended for a soulful and divine experience. 🙏✨

I recently visited Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling for the second time, after my first visit around 7 years ago. Earlier, touching the Shivaling was allowed, but now it is not permitted. This time, I reached the temple around 7:45 AM and planned to take the fast-darshan ticket, but the counter closed at 8:00 AM, so I couldn’t buy it. We then joined the normal line, which took around 4 hours to complete the darshan and come out. The management has provided good facilities throughout the line, including seating areas, drinking water, a baby feeding room, and washrooms. Mobile phones are allowed, and many people were taking photos inside, although security guards were stopping them as photography is not permitted.

Mangi Tungi

Mountain peak
Sights & Landmarks
Mangi Tungi, a majestic mountain adorned with two towering peaks connected by a narrow plateau, offers an enchanting experience. Nestled amidst its vastness are caves and temples that exude tranquility and devotion. This place is an idyllic village getaway where one can escape the hustle and bustle of city life, reveling in nature's beauty far from pollution and noise.
Mangi Tungi is biggest digambar Jain pilgrim centre in Maharashtra also known as mini shikharji. At the base we have Dharamshala along with huge statue of 20th tirthankara Munisuvrat nath Swami and mool nayak 23rd parshwnath tirthankara. Mountain is approx one and a half kilometre away from this Dharamshala almost 3500 steps up and a few distance between Mangi and Tungi and 3500 steps down. The place is known as Siddha Kshetra because 99 crores of soul took Nirvana along with Ram, Hanu (Hanuman ) Sugreev Sundil, Gav, Gavaksh, Neel, MahaNeel in chaturth (4th) kaal according to Padma purana and many other Shastra. This place between Mangi and Tungi is also famous for last cremation of Krishna after 6 months of his death by his brother b Balbhadra, and later he himself took Jaineshwari Diksha. According to Jain belief each and every minute particles on this mountain are very very important, so my humble request for Jain and non jain peoples please respect our belief by not making any nuisance, throwing garbage or unnecessary activities.

Visited Mangi Tungi 15 days ago during the rainy season. The place looks beautiful with lush greenery all around, making the climb pleasant despite the effort. It is a significant Jain religious site with a calm, spiritual atmosphere. It is believed that Shree Ram and Lord Hanuman attained moksha here, adding to its sacredness. The large statues and the views from the top are worth the visit, especially in monsoon when the clouds and cool breeze add to the experience. Overall, a peaceful and spiritually enriching destination, best visited during the rains.

Mangi-Tungi, situated near Tahrabad and about 195 km from Surat, Gujarat, India, is a striking twin-peaked mountain with a sprawling plateau nestled in between. The two peaks, Mangi and Tungi, stand at 4,343 ft and 4,366 ft respectively, above sea level. The city of Satana is approximately 30 km from this picturesque location. To reach the foot of the peak, one must ascend approximately 3,500 steps (7,000 Up & Down), immersing oneself in the historical and religious significance of the area, which is adorned with several monuments.

For accommodation, several basic Jain Dharamshalas and guest houses (like Yatri Niwas) are available at the base of the hill. Key things to know before you climb: No Footwear: This is a sacred mountain, not a recreational trek. It is mandatory to remove all footwear (shoes, sandals) at the base. You must climb barefoot or in socks. Bring Water: The climb involves thousands of steps (approx. 7000) and is strenuous. It is highly recommended to carry your own water bottle. Beware of Monkeys: Be extremely cautious, especially near the top. Monkeys are common and can be aggressive in trying to snatch food or bags. Keep your belongings secure. Mangi-Tungi is a famous twin-peaked Jain pilgrimage site near Nashik, renowned for its ancient caves and, most notably, the spectacular 108-foot Statue of Ahimsa. This statue of Lord Rishabhanatha is the world's tallest Jain idol carved from a single rock. The site is relatively easy to reach; the best way is by road via Nashik (approx. 125 km) or the closer town of Satana (30 km).

I am from Mumbai, I drive 350 km nonstop to reach there by my motorcycle. It’s really amazing place. Mangi Tungi Temple is at 125 km from Nashik ,located in Satana Taluka. Mangi is the western pinnacle which is 4,343 ft high above sea level andTungi is the eastern pinnacle which is 4,366 ft high above sea level. Mangi Tungi is a famous holy place for pilgrimage. This is a Siddha Kshetra where Ram, Hanuman, Sugriva, Nal, Neel, Mahaneel, Gava, Gavaksha and so many others, Total 99 Carores of ascetics attained salvation full & final freedom from world and went to Siddha Shila or Moksha, from where no one returns to the world and enjoys the internal spiritual bliss for infinite time. This Holy place is also related to Lord Ram & Sita, Lord Krishna & his elder brother Balram. Bhilwadi is the base village of Mangi-Tungi. Go must visit. You will love it.

Amazing Spiritual Trek & Scenic Views! If you’re coming from Malegaon, Mangi-Tungi is around 60 km drive (approx. 1 to 1.5 hours). Roads are decent, and the route is well-marked with boards for the pilgrimage site. The climb is the main highlight—be ready for around 4,500+ stone-carved steps (takes 2–3 hours depending on pace). The stairway is broad, safe, and dotted with small resting points and water stalls, which makes the trek easier. At the top, you’ll find the tall Jain statue of Lord Rishabhdev (Guinness record holder, ~108 ft) and ancient caves. The panoramic view of Sahyadri ranges is breathtaking, especially early morning or during winter when the skies are clear. Sunset is equally magical. 👉 Nearby places to explore: Salher Fort – one of the highest forts in Maharashtra, historically linked with Shivaji Maharaj. A must-visit for history and trekking lovers. Salota Fort (beside Salher) – twin fort with rugged terrain and spectacular views. ⛰️ Tips: Carry enough water & light snacks. Early morning start is best to avoid heat. Moderate fitness needed due to long stair climb. Combine Mangi-Tungi with Salher-Salota for a perfect history + spirituality + adventure trip.

Mangi Tungi Hill, located in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, India, is a site of great religious and historical significance, particularly for the Jain community. Here are three positive points about Mangi Tungi Hill: 1. Religious Significance: Mangi Tungi Hill is an important pilgrimage site for Jains. It is believed to be the place where many Jain saints attained salvation (moksha). The hill is home to several ancient temples and numerous statues of Jain deities, making it a revered spiritual destination. The most notable among these is the 108 feet tall statue of Lord Rishabhdev, which is recognized as the tallest Jain statue in the world. 2. Scenic Beauty and Trekking: The hill offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The trek to the top of Mangi Tungi is not only a spiritual journey but also an adventure for nature enthusiasts and trekkers. The route is adorned with lush greenery, rocky terrain, and panoramic vistas, making it a rewarding experience for visitors who appreciate natural beauty and outdoor activities. 3. Cultural and Historical Importance: Mangi Tungi Hill is steeped in history and culture. The ancient caves and temples found here date back centuries and reflect the rich architectural and cultural heritage of the Jain community. The site also hosts various religious events and festivals, attracting devotees and tourists from all over the world, thereby promoting cultural exchange and understanding. These points highlight Mangi Tungi Hill as a destination that offers a blend of spiritual enrichment, natural beauty, and cultural heritage.

I visited Mangi-Tungi last week. Mangi-Tungi is a twin-peaked mountain in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, India. It is a popular Jain pilgrimage site and a holy place for Hindus. This place is located 125 km from Nashik, near Tahrabad, and 30 km from Satana. This was my most adventurous trek ever. The view was stunning, and I really enjoyed it a lot. Mangi-Tungi has a total of 3,500 steps and requires about 6 hours for the trek. The rainy season is the best time to visit this place. One important thing I experienced is that when you start your trek, make sure to carry your own water bottles because there is no water available at the top. There are also lots of monkeys at the top, so be cautious around them. Keep your mobile and other belongings safe, as these monkeys can be quite aggressive. I highly recommend visiting this place because I really loved it.

Hatgad Fort

Ruins of a fort built by the Maratha king Shivaji, popular for treks & views of the valley & hills.
It always amazes me how Shivaji made forts at so many places and on hill tops. This fort though in dilapidated state but speaks about efforts and planning that time. It has enough water reservoirs, one house , kitchen and bathing tank. An old shiv Ling is there around which a temple has been made recently. Fort provides the commanding view of surrounding areas. Nice place to see sunrise and sun set and a refreshing walk in morning. Not tough. Plan for 1.5-2 hours leisurely walk both ways.
Rakesh B — Google review
Excellent views from the fort. A lot of cooling breeze was constantly flowing. We went on an overcast day, but on a sunny day it will be hot when roaming the fort as there isn't any cover anywhere. The fort is reasonably clean. A small Mahadev temple is a small walk from the entrance. A medium effort walk up the stairs of the fort.
Dhanesh J — Google review
Vehicle are not allowed to go above. There is no timing. 2 Wheeler can go above upto the stairs. Around 1 km to 1.5 km of road. 50 to 60 straight high steps. Keep a lot of water and snacks handy. Nothing available over the top.
Harsh P — Google review
A must do when at Hatgad. There is nothing special about it though. Views from the top are amazing. It’s a 1.5km walk up from the highway and then to a flight of stairs that takes you to the top of the fort. 2 and 4 wheelers can drop you off to the base of the stairs too but it is better to trek it upwards. The trek is simple. Make sure to carry water since there aren’t any stalls up there.
Shabbir B — Google review
Beautiful views from here. There are remains of the Fort, Ponds with plenty water and Hatkeshvar Mahadev Temple. Lovely views of the Hatgad Village, Club Mahindra Resort, Lakes, Roads, and Saputara town. It's about three hours to climb the hill, walk around, and come down. Not many people above the mountain, but it is safe to go in small groups.

A Must-Visit Hub for Views, Activities, and Sunsets This vast, flat plateau is the bustling heart of Saputara and a prime spot for visitors. True to its name, "Table Point" is a large, level hilltop offering stunning panoramic views of the entire Saputara valley, the lake, and the surrounding Sahyadri hills. It's most famous as the main activity center in the hill station. This is the place to come for: Ropeway (Cable Car): The primary attraction. The ropeway connects Table Point to Sunset Point (Gandhi Shikhar) on the opposite hill, offering a thrilling ride with breathtaking aerial views of the valley and lake. Sunset Views: While the ropeway goes to Sunset Point, Table Point itself offers magnificent, unobstructed views of the setting sun, painting the sky in vibrant colors. Activities Galore: The large open space is filled with activities, especially for families. You'll find numerous vendors offering horse riding, camel rides, and small bike/ATV rides for kids. Local Snacks: Dotted with small food stalls, this is a great place to try local snacks like roasted corn (bhutta), peanuts, and hot tea, especially in the cool evening air. Visitor Tips: Best Time to Visit: Plan your visit for the late afternoon (around 4:00 PM onwards). This allows you to enjoy the activities and then settle in to watch the spectacular sunset. Getting There: You can reach the top via a winding road (parking is available) or take the ropeway from the valley up to Table Point (check for the "Townview Point" ropeway). Crowds: Be prepared for crowds, especially during peak season and on weekends. The atmosphere is lively and festive, but it's not a quiet, isolated viewpoint. Verdict: If you're in Saputara, you simply can't miss Table Point. It's the quintessential hill station experience, blending stunning natural beauty with fun activities for the whole family.

This is the top point of the Saputara, from the above you able to see the beautiful scenery of Saputara. There are many exciting ride also present there like paragliding which is approx 2500rs(per person) really value for money, zip line which is approx 500rs per person (with camera), rope ways currently it's in maintainence, rented bike get around 200rs, etc. Above the point many small hotels also present, So no worry about food. I mostly preferable to go this place in monsoon, the greenery and the scene are very beautiful.

One of the highlights & main attraction of Saputara, it's highest accessible point via vehicle. Where tourist can enjoy host of different activities like horse riding, mini bike ride, paragliding and so on. Paid parking is available, the place is not at all well maintained is filled with animal litter and plastic garbage which uneducated people leave behind, a scene spot ruined by local mismanagement & filth. Overpriced food items are for sale at the food court. The location has good views but clutter & noise is a sour experience.

Table Land in Saputara, Gujarat, offers an awesome panoramic view from the top, making it one of the most iconic spots in the hill station. The vast open plateau provides a perfect vantage point to admire the surrounding valleys and hills, with plenty of space to walk around and soak in the scenery. It’s a place where the beauty of Saputara unfolds in all directions. One of the most striking sights from Table Land is the Governor Hill Trail, which looks absolutely stunning from above. The green slopes, winding paths, and expansive horizon create a picture-perfect view that leaves a lasting impression. Even if you’re not into photography, the natural charm here is sure to captivate you. I visited during the monsoon, and the experience was magical. Clouds drifted all over the top, the temperature was chilling, and it felt as if winter had arrived in the rainy season. The misty weather, combined with the cool breeze, made it my favorite spot in Saputara during monsoon. It’s a must-visit if you enjoy that refreshing, foggy mountain atmosphere. Beyond its scenic beauty, Table Land is also a hub for adventure and fun. You’ll find plenty of activities like paragliding, zip lining, horse riding, camel riding, and several options for kids. However, remember to plan your visit at the right time, as this is the most crowded place in Saputara and can get quite busy during peak hour

Review of Nageshwar Mahadev Mandir, Saputara (200 Words) Nageshwar Mahadev Mandir in Saputara is a serene and spiritually uplifting destination, nestled amidst the lush greenery of the Saputara hills. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is a peaceful retreat for devotees and tourists alike. The temple’s setting near Saputara Lake enhances its tranquil atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for meditation and reflection. The structure of the temple is simple yet elegant, with traditional architectural elements that add to its spiritual charm. The Shiva Linga inside the sanctum is beautifully adorned, especially during festivals like Mahashivratri, when the temple sees a large number of devotees. One of the highlights of visiting this mandir is the natural beauty that surrounds it. The cool breeze, chirping birds, and panoramic views create a calming experience. It’s not just a place of worship but also a refreshing stop for those exploring Saputara. Cleanliness and maintenance are commendable, and the temple premises are kept neat, reflecting the devotion of caretakers and locals. The spiritual vibe, combined with the scenic backdrop, makes Nageshwar Mahadev Mandir a must-visit when in Saputara. Whether you're a devotee or a nature lover, this place offers a perfect blend of peace, devotion, and natural beauty.

The Nageshwar Mahadev Temple is situated very close to the Lake Garden in Saputara. It is a calm, clean, green and spiritual place dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. There are some steps leading up to the platform where there is a small Nandi bull sitting outside the sanctum in which there is a lingam. The lingam is protected by the hood of a stone snake. The temple has a beautiful stone carved ceiling and is surrounded by many plants and an old peepul tree. We got nice spiritual vibes at the temple.

A small, peaceful temple with a lake view. There was nobody here when we visited (March 26, 2021) It has a great energy, there is a lake-facing seat beside the temple that I could spend hours on just soaking in the view and energy.

Saputara Lake, located right at the centre of Saputara in Gujarat, is a large and charming waterbody that forms the heart of this hill station. Its vast size and calm waters create a relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to begin or end your sightseeing trip. Being centrally located, it’s easy to reach from anywhere in town and often becomes the most photographed place for visitors. The surrounding landscape is excellent, with lush green hills, neatly kept walkways, and a refreshing natural vibe all around. I visited during the monsoon season, and the view of the lake was simply awesome—it was surrounded by drifting clouds, giving it a magical and almost dreamlike appeal. The gentle breeze, combined with the scenic backdrop, made it a truly memorable experience. While the lake is peaceful on most days, it can get crowded during weekends and holidays, so planning your visit accordingly is a good idea. Whether you’re boating, strolling along the shore, or simply sitting and enjoying the view, the calmness of the place is best enjoyed when it’s less busy. One of the most enchanting aspects of Saputara Lake is its night view. The shimmering reflections of lights on the water, combined with the cool evening air, make it a must-see after sunset. A night stroll by the lake is the perfect way to wrap up your day in Saputara. Visit in Night and Day time both.
RANJAN K — Google review
Saputara Lake is naturally beautiful, but the overall experience wasn’t enjoyable. The place was very crowded, and it felt like there was hardly any space to relax or take in the view peacefully. On top of that, almost everything around the lake was costly—food stalls, boating tickets, even basic things like parking. The crowd and high prices really took away from the charm of the lake. It could be a nice spot if managed better, but right now it feels more commercial than relaxing.

Nice place to hang out. There are too many nearby places to visit. Also number of sports activities are also available. You need at least 2-3 days to explore and enjoy at saputara.

🌄 Lake + Garden + Boating ⛵ ✨ Saputara Lake is the perfect destination for quality family time during the monsoon 🌧️. It's enveloped by lush trees 🌳, and both the lake and garden are well-maintained 🍃. Boating 🚣 is also an option here at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend trying it out. Enjoy a memorable day surrounded by nature at this lovely spot! 🤗 🌄 At sunset, the atmosphere becomes truly enchanting ✨, and you'll find the lake view to be particularly captivating. It's a great time to enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. 🌌

Saputara Lake is one of the most peaceful and scenic attractions in Saputara. Surrounded by green hills and a calm environment, it is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy nature. The lake is clean and well-maintained, and boating here is a wonderful experience, especially in the evening when the cool breeze and sunset create a beautiful view. There are also food stalls and small shops nearby, which add to the charm without disturbing the natural beauty. It is a great place for family outings, photography, or just spending quiet time with friends. Visiting Saputara is incomplete without enjoying the serenity of this lake.”

Pleasant view but boating experience was not good for solo person. But with a family of 4 or 6 will get a good condition paddle boat to enjoy the ride in Lake. Activities near Lake are good and variety of food options available.

It is an average museum. It is maintained by Gujarat government. The building is pretty old and there is water leakage at a lot of places. There is a separate gents and ladies Washroom at the premises, by it is not at all maintained. Entry fees is very nominal, at Rs 5/- per Indian citizen. Fees for foreign citizens is Rs 50/- . For students visiting this museum the fees is only Rs 2/-. This museum specialises on three tribes local to this area, warli, bhil and kunbi. The ornaments, cooking appliances, musical instruments and their grain storage instruments are at display. Overall, a nice place to visit for any social anthropology student, average for rest.

As the name suggests, it is point to witness the beautiful moment of sun setting down. The shades of different colours appearing on the sky is mesmerizing. Also the aerial view of lake and the town visible from this point is awesome. There are two ways to reach the sunset point, one is through ropeway (which starts from Table point) and other one is by climbing up on the hill. It is almost close to 1 km strenuous climb, the vehicles are not allowed except for the bikes which are provided by the locals on chargeable basis (they charge Rs 100 one way). There are few stalls where water and food are available. For children, there are few recreational stuff such as RC cars, horse rides, etc. There is no entry charge if one decides to climb up while travel through ropeway is chargeable. It is located on height and we can only go by a walk by hiking on the hill. It will take some time. The view is amazing from there.

Don Hill station Gujarat

Nature & Parks

Don Hill station in Gujarat is a spectacular destination for day trips, offering breathtaking panoramic views of lush green mountains during the monsoon season. It serves as an ideal spot for picnics due to its outstanding scenery and 360-degree vistas. However, amenities are scarce, making it advisable to bring your own food and beverages for long visits. With no nearby accommodations, it is best suited for day tours only. Hopefully, future development will enhance this location with improved facilities for dining and lodging.
A Wonderful Experience in Nature! I recently visited Don Hills in Gujarat, and it was an amazing experience! The place is full of natural beauty and peaceful vibes. I especially enjoyed the bike trip — riding through the ghat section was thrilling and unforgettable! The views were breathtaking, and the entire journey felt refreshing and adventurous. A perfect spot for nature lovers and bikers.

I recently went to Don Hill Station in Gujarat with my family, and it turned out to be a really refreshing experience. 🌿 It was the rainy season, so the whole place was covered in lush greenery, giving a very soothing and peaceful vibe. The fresh air, misty weather, and natural surroundings made it feel like a perfect getaway from the busy routine. One of the attractions here is the statue of a vulture (gidh), which is quite unique. To see it properly, you need to climb a little bit, but once you reach, the view and the atmosphere are worth the effort. Walking around in that green environment with light rain was truly enjoyable. Since I went on a weekend, there was a lot of crowd, which is expected at such a popular spot. Still, the place didn’t lose its charm. Spending time there with my family, enjoying the weather, and exploring the natural beauty made the whole trip memorable. Overall, Don Hill Station is a great place to visit if you love nature, greenery, and calm surroundings. It’s a spot where you can relax, click good pictures, and enjoy quality time with family. I would definitely recommend it, especially during the rainy season when the beauty of the hills is at its peak. 🌧️🌿

A Hidden Gem in South Gujarat! Don Hill Station is a serene and untouched paradise nestled in the tribal region of South Gujarat. The natural beauty here is simply breathtaking – calm, peaceful, and unspoiled by commercial tourism. No noisy crowds, no overbuilt shops or restaurants – just pure nature and stunning views. The local tribal communities have done a beautiful job preserving the area and its environment. A perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility, fresh air, and a connection to nature. Come here if you want peace, not parties. Highly recommended for nature lovers and explorers!

"A true hidden gem in Gujarat! Don Hill Station offers an escape into nature that rivals Saputara, but with far less commercialization and crowd. Perched at a higher altitude (about 1070 meters), the weather is incredibly pleasant. The views from the top are breathtaking, with rolling green hills of the Sahyadri range all around. The drive up is quite thrilling, and it’s a perfect spot for trekking enthusiasts. If you love peace, quiet, and unspoiled natural beauty, this is a must-visit. Highly recommend going during the monsoon when the waterfalls are alive!"

Don is very beautiful hillstation of Dang, especially during and in between monsoon and winter it's just so wonderful. It's just 3kms away from Maharashtra-Gujarat border. Still developing area, surrounded by very nice and sweet indigenous people. It's view is just so fascinating from the top. Greenery and mountains and such a peaceful atmosphere. Hate it that people who visits this place throw garbage around. Please if you're reading this keep it clean, Dang is precious jewel of Gujarat. 🌱⛰️🏞

Visited Don Hill Station recently, and it was an amazing experience overall! The journey itself was so much fun, with scenic views making the travel and trekking truly enjoyable. The trek was refreshing and definitely worth it for nature lovers. A few points to keep in mind: parking can be a bit tricky, food options are limited, and there were some minor issues with washrooms and water availability. Despite these small inconveniences, we had an incredible time exploring the area and enjoying the views. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a mix of adventure, trekking, and relaxation!

Recently visited Don Hill Station, and it was an incredible experience! 😍 The view from the top was absolutely worth the climb — calm, green, and full of natural beauty. 🌳 The waterfalls and scenic spots on the way make the ride even more enjoyable ✨. The roads are in great condition too, so even scooters and bikes 🛵🏍️ can make it up easily. There are certain issues also with these place - basic facilities like washrooms and refreshment stalls are not maintained properly. As compared to Saputara there are no options for fun activities. No petrol pumps are available along the route once you cross ahwa ake sure to fill full tank up at Ahwa before climbing. Even if come down from Don Hill there is no option for restaurants and hotel since the location is too remote. If you are looking forward to go for nature and climbing adventure then you can go.
