(Translated by Google) MAGICAL, but in need of more care The museum itself is undergoing renovations, but the park is open for visitors. It has a large space to admire the natural beauty. There is a very nice little playground for children. There are many benches scattered around for those who want to rest in the shade. A great place for the summer. There are public restrooms inside the park. There is no place to buy water or food, and I didn't see any drinking fountains. A small parking lot right in front. Free admission. The Parque da Baronesa Municipal Museum, formerly known as Chácara dos Barões de Três Serros, is the region where Pelotas began to be populated, with the installation of the first meat-packing plants around 1800. The former residence includes a set of architectural elements in the romantic style, such as a small castle, a bathroom, a fountain, a French and an English garden, canals with bridges and lakes with islands, a cave (with a brick masonry structure covered with mortar imitating stone, which was studded with raw quartz) and a two-story house in the American bungalow style from 1935. All of them could be better marked out and restored, but it is still worth seeing. Banheiros públicos estruturados dentro do parque.

It's a must-visit destination in the city along with other attractions like the Usina do Gasometro cultural center and scenic spots like Marinha do Brasil Park and Farroupilha Park. Lovely old fashion building done in the format of many european markets with lots of well stocked stalls from the mundane to great delicatessen. Worth a visit plus make sure after this you walk towards the river where you can take catamara to Barra Shopping or to Guati for just over 10R or else an hour trip looking at all tourist sights with a different company for 30R cash or 35 if you pay with credit card. Either worth making the time to do as gives you a unique perspective of this gorgeous clean air city.

Always a cultural experience being in any public market. 20th year since my first visit here. Survivor of fires and floods. Muito gente...
Mike S — Google review
Old building very not well taken care of. There are independent fish markets (complete with the authentic Yelling) and health food stores, but the rest is mediocre cafes, overpriced sit down food, mediocre padarias, insanity of panhandling and graffiti outside. Only reason I would come back is if- IF- I wanted fish from the fishmonger, Cafe do Mercado (also exists praia de belas) or Temakieria.

It's also a great place just to pass the day. Lot's to see, tons of restaurant options, clearly a popular spot in the city, for shopping, walking, running, or just getting some air.

It's a beautiful and quite big park. Locals love to go on weekends and I would recommend to tourist do the same. The park is fun this days when is full of people, but can be quite dangerous the other days of the week. Here you can be robbed even with violence, so try to not go alone. Same applies to the city in general. Try to stay just were is other people and you will see just the nicer face of the city.

A fantastic city park in the middle of Porto Alegre. Lots of playground equipment for children to use, plenty of park benches and open spaces to have a picnic or just enjoy people watching. A marked fitness path circles the park as well. As of August 2023 the central pond area is closed for reconditioning, but still ple ty to do and see here!

Expensive and super worth it, we went for the skiing experience and you have to pay separately for the entrance ticket and the rentals to ski or snowboard. Awful experience during the school holidays. Heavily overbooked, super long queues, uttet chaos when having to find clothes, boots and gloves. Few staff members and management on site to help. And when we managed to get to the 'snow' after 2 hours, we went tubing once because the queues were so ridiculous. So then we thought we'd go ice skating, to find that the last time was 4.30pm. Utter waste of money and will never return.

We arrived on a low season period and once at the door we were approached by two employees with badges of the place saying that they were putting us all through the “event”, because the place was full. The “event” was them trying to sell us a time sharing. Nothing against them selling this, but what bothers a lot is them LYING saying is full so they can get our data. When we found that out, we just said no and asked to buy a regular ticket to go in and there was NOBODY on the line of cashier number 5 where they sell regular tickets for people who do not want to buy their time sharing. Inside the place, as we expected there were not many people, but the attractions had very confused rules, some they said kids needed to have at least 1,15m but nobody was reinforcing it, while in others they were turning kids out for 1 centimeter. The restaurant on the 2nd floor was almost empty but they not only took a long time to bring our food but also made a mistake on our order. We felt really disrespected at the front door as we were lied by official employees and the confuse rules and bad service at the restaurant

(Translated by Google) The worst experience I've ever had in Gramado. Starting with the staff, whose unspoken ill will... It started with "we're closed now" when I walked in the door. It just started with that, without a good afternoon or anything, right there at the door (which was open, by the way). I apologized and said I'd seen on Google that they'd be open. Then, they told me I could order à la carte, but not lunch. Do you understand why they didn't even let me in before trying to talk me out of buying? Who said I was looking for lunch? It seems they just want the customer to leave as soon as possible so they don't have to serve them. Unfortunately, such poor service in such a good location... disappointing. Since I was already there, I decided to eat (a terrible decision). They claim to be meat experts, but the meat was too dry. Unfortunately, it was terrible.

(Translated by Google) Disappointing. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. The price wasn't very appealing, the buffet was all-you-can-eat but with limited options. According to the information, we were entitled to a grilled cut. Terrible. The meat was charred on the outside and tough, even though I'd ordered it "medium rare." To top it all off, a pagode group was singing at the top of their lungs (the sound was way above "pleasant") some of their hits, so off-key it was frightening. (Original) Decepcionante. Li as avaliações e resolvi testar.

(Translated by Google) We arrived with 6 adults and 2 children on a Saturday during a holiday. We understood that this would cause a wait, but we didn't imagine that it would take more than an hour for the food to arrive. More than 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive, and even then, they gave us a draft beer that we had been watching for more than ten minutes on the counter, now warm. The food on the menu is beautiful, but the actual food is terrible. Salad with so many leaves that there is no room for the other ingredients on the plate, completely unseasoned; empty that looks like anything but empty; super hard cassava, impossible to eat; 12-hour ribs, pure fat; a dish that never arrived. It was impossible to talk to any of the waiters while we waited, they walked quickly past the table without looking at the customers. When we got up to ask about our orders, they said they would check and didn't get back to us. Oh, and as for the price, they charge much more than what they offer. You can't say that it's a cheap place and that's why the service and food are terrible. Anyway, it was a terrible experience. I really hope they improve or change the management soon, because it's a great place for those who visit the beautiful Lago Negro.

Mini Mundo is a must-visit outdoor park in Gramado, featuring intricate miniature replicas of famous international buildings. This miniature universe has been under construction for over 30 years and showcases detailed replicas of real locations, all at a scale 24 times smaller than the original. The park's central location makes it a popular tourist attraction, with miniatures including the Prince of Monaco's Castle, Curitiba's Botanical Garden, and Porto Alegre's Gasometer.
My 4-year-old daughter loved this place and spent more than two hours here without getting bored. Note: There is also a nursing room for families with babies.

Great place for kids. Amazing walking and adventure inside mini mundo city.
Roque F — Google review
An awesome experience, the park is well structured, the mini-buildings are fascinating. Really cool how smaller structures can be built and look like the real building. Definitely worth a visit! Buy tickets in advance so you don’t have to wait in line.
Eric V — Google review
It is a pretty cool place. The “mini world” is very detailed and feels alive. There are many landmarks (mostly Brazilian and German) and they are very well done. Adults and kids will have a good time there (2 or 3 hours to see everything if you aren’t in a rush). Look out for the weather since this is an open museum.
Willian — Google review
Beautiful place, very well designed and built. Great for kids and enjoyable for adults. Pay a lot of attention to details, the small figures are doing all sort of fun stuff. The Cafe is not expensive and the food is very good
Esteban R — Google review
Cute lovely detailed miniature representations for local and some internationals buildings. And is not only about the structure they really paid attention to details and you can find the most lovely and or hilarious scenes blend in the landscape! If you look carefully it will be way much fun!

Mini Mundo was an amazing attraction. So much time was spend on the tiniest details that were truly mind blowing. Entire cities 1/100th of the size were created. Many different cities from countries like Brazil and Germany. The mascots were cool too. The family enjoyed themselves here.

It was very hot today, and the lettuce didn't look good. I asked the server to remove it from our sandwich. He did, but he threw it back into the lettuce bin to serve to another customer! The staff needs training!! Help!!!

Normal subway, however, the staff is really slow and inefficient when there's more than 2 customers at a time. It stays open longer than maccas.

Aldeia do Papai Noel is a delightful Christmas-themed park that brings the magic of the holiday season to life all year round. Nestled in the stunning Serra Gaúcha, this enchanting village features Santa's charming house, a whimsical toy factory, and even artificial snow to create a winter wonderland atmosphere. Families can enjoy rides on both a train and monorail while soaking in the breathtaking views of nature surrounding them.
What a fun thing to stumble upon. It was all in Portuguese but I got it and had fun the whole time! Great for Christmas lovers in your life. Bring a translator or be familiar with Portuguese because there is no English.
Natasha T — Google review
10,000 Google reviews with many profiles just saying "Top" or "Show", clearly these are fake reviews bought by the company. It's an ok park, suited for young families with the monorail, photo opportunities with festive statues, a foam snow blower to excite the kids, and plenty of gift shops. The constant Christmas songs are mundane. My best part of the place was the gorgeous view out over the valley. Would say is expensive for all that it is. Also why isn't Orkney on the outside flagpole with distances to destinations?
Adventures A — Google review
Has very beautiful view, and great nature, can be a good place for family
Reza A — Google review
We saw all the bad reviews here before we went to the park but my family still wanted to take the kids since they are from Gramado. Unfortunately the reviews are right, this place is really old and not clean. I don’t think they have done any remodeling in 30 years. Save your money and check all the other attractions in Gramado.
Baris E — Google review
Completely disappointed, we brought the tickets, and then when we get there to use the 3 best attractions, you have to pay extra, so they should charge in full before.
Flavio P — Google review
good to spend some time. However they don't tell you the fee you pay to get in doesn't pay for anything inside. Any ride will cost 15R extra
Kevin S — Google review
Real reindeers and a nice view of the valley are the only redeeming features in this very lame park. Expensive and beyond ridiculous random attractions spread in the park are of no interest for any adult. I'm giving 2 stars here for the good housekeeping and good looking gardens that otherwise could serve as a great park.
Girl2wise — Google review
Incredibly overrated. It would be an amazing haunted park, because everything there is creepy and scary. The reindeers are far away and sleepy. The place is full of screaming kids and mums that can't control their kids. Absolutely not worth it. I went with a person that loves xmas and she also hated it. There's already enough xmas stuff all around. Also, it costs $28, they don't accept credit cards and they don't accept student cards.. they brag about it in a notice. They found a way around it. Unethical and stupid business practice.

Mundo a Vapor is a unique theme park that showcases various miniature steam-powered machines in full operation. Visitors can marvel at mini replicas of paper mills, potteries, blacksmith shops, steel foundries, and more. One of its notable features is the facade displaying a life-sized reenactment of the famous 1895 train accident at Montparnasse station in Paris.
This is a very good museum. The price of the tickets is fair. It was an amazing experience, for they recreated steam powered machines in a small scale, and it is great to see the machines working and the improvement in our technology and process of manufacturing things! Really recommend it!
Daniel S — Google review
There are very few attractions in Gramado and Canela that have any information available in the English language - either a piece of paperwork or anyone who speaks English. Mundo a Vapor gave us an incredible personalised tour entirely in English, with only 5 mins waiting time. Unfortunately we did not get the name of our guide, but would like to personally thank him for his efforts. This is an incredibly interesting museum even if you do not have a particular interest in steam engines, taking you on a tour of steam history through the world.
Jenny H — Google review
It was more entertaining than I expected, they have different machines explaining how the steam systems works and how we evolved some engineering processes. It was fun to know more about the old way of doing things.
Pedro ( — Google review

There's lots of museums in gramado but not many to actually worth to visit. this place is popular museum in gramado. good to know vapor system in 1900's. It was also interesting in the train, haning and through out the wall, is real incident in Paris in 1980's.
Maria K — Google review
Museum themed on the age of steam. The locomotive hanging out the front of the building is replica of an actual railway disaster which happened in Paris in 1895. There is a mini train ride which last 3 minutes, several displays of traction engines how they transformed agriculture and industry from horse power to relying on steam driven engines to operate heavier load. You can get dressed up in antique clothing for an old fashioned photograph.
Adventures A — Google review
Awesome and super petfriendly.

Paróquia Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, also known as the Stone Cathedral, is a grand Gothic-style Catholic church located in the center of Canela. The cathedral features an imposing structure and houses 12 bronze bells from Italy, along with a carved wooden altar. Visitors can admire its beauty during the day and witness a captivating illuminated display at night.
Beautiful and stunning stone made church. The windows are beautiful and the lights at 8pm it’s just amazing
Narda L — Google review
The Paróquia Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, also known as the Catedral de Pedra in Canela, is one of the most breathtaking landmarks in southern Brazil. Its stunning Gothic-style architecture immediately captures your attention, with tall stone towers, intricate details, and an impressive presence that dominates the city’s skyline. Both day and night, the church is a sight to behold especially when it’s beautifully illuminated in the evening, creating a magical and almost fairytale-like atmosphere. Inside, the church is just as captivating. The high ceilings, beautiful stained-glass windows, and peaceful ambiance make it a perfect place for reflection and admiration. Every corner showcases the care and artistry that went into its construction, blending faith, history, and architectural beauty in a truly special way. The surrounding area is equally amazing. The church is located in the heart of Canela, surrounded by charming cafés, local shops, and lovely gardens that make the visit even more enjoyable. It’s a wonderful place to walk around, take photos, and appreciate the serene mountain town atmosphere. Whether you are visiting for spiritual reasons, historical interest, or simply to enjoy its beauty, the Paróquia Nossa Senhora de Lourdes is an unmissable stop in Canela, a masterpiece of architecture and one of the most beautiful churches in Brazil.

Visitors can also enjoy the breathtaking views of the 130-meter Caracol Falls from a cable car.
Very nice place to visit. The best in the Gramado / Canela area. Very clean, well organized, super friendly staff and super sightseeing. Super choice!
Paulo K — Google review
Very nice park with waterfalls and wild animals. It is a perfect place for you coming with your family for a happy day. However, remember that this is a touristic place. So, if you don't like crowded places, it is better you come during the weeks days, in low season periods.
Rafa H — Google review
Like many things in Gramado/Canela, the Caracol Park is overpriced. R$75 for an adult or 90 with the mirador. Add to that parking (30) and if you want to do the little train inside (hard to avoid with kids) it’s another 20. The views are nice, and compared to other things in the area it’s not a complete rippoff, but it’s too expensive nonetheless It’s not accessible like they claim. If you’re on a wheelchair forget about it. If you’re with a stroller, prepare for a treat: the gravels uphill are a delight!
AJ J — Google review
It's small, so don't expect to hike in nature. Well maintained. The only way to see the larger waterfall is via some observation platform you have to wait in line for. There's another short walk to a waterfall where you can get closer. I think it's designed mostly for families with children--lots of playgrounds and BBQ areas.
Nathan J — Google review
The falls are quite impressive but this is a expensive touristic attraction. You can't get close to the water and you have to pay extra if you want to access the best spot to have a picture of yourself with the falls
Rousselle M — Google review
Beautiful place to spend the day with nature. We saw a hummingbird and a toucan and had a wonderful time hanging in the hammocks and viewing the waterfalls.
Emily T — Google review
Price is way too expensive - R$70 per person for regular adults. We saw the waterfall for free by going to the cable car park farther down the road, entering the car gate on foot and walking to the viewpoint by the parking lot - the only problem with that one is that you currently can't see the bottom quarter of the falls because some trees are in the way.

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful place, but the camping is very precarious and expensive for the conditions. Bathrooms are pretty bad. Weak bar and expensive daily rate for what it offers, depending on arrival and departure times, you pay half a night. It's worth it for nature. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it looked like there had been a party, cans and bottles everywhere, when I left on Monday the trash was still there. The horrible campsites spoil the look of the campsite, old and dirty tarps set up everywhere, with vinyl canvas flooring from advertisements. Terrible.
