Beer hall
Vila Germânica Park is a Bavarian-style village featuring half-timbered buildings housing shops and eateries, including the renowned Bier Vila. The park hosts the city's most traditional festival, Oktoberfest, offering a chance to savor regional cuisine and experience the largest concentration of German-style buildings, along with shops, restaurants, and breweries. Additionally, during Christmas in Blumenau, the park becomes part of a festive program with illuminated streets and outdoor Christmas displays.
"Oktoberfest Blumenau is an incredible celebration of culture and tradition! The atmosphere is vibrant, with lively music, fantastic parades, and authentic German food and beer. The attention to detail in the costumes and decorations really adds to the experience. It's well-organized, and despite the large crowds, everything runs smoothly. Whether you're there for the music, the beer, or just to soak up the energy, it’s a festival that should not be missed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Germany in Brazil!"
Karan K — Google review
Very nice and interesting how they made it. A second German country 🤩
Sara B — Google review
We went for Oktoberfest so was great to visit. Well set up and decorated. Like a little German village dull of shops as well as the large hall where the live bands and dancing was held. Extremely busy on the Saturday, hard to walk and waited in line for food, beer or toilet for at least 20 minutes. Friday was better as less people. You can purchase the ticket across the road for the Oktoberfest before entering. Full german costume gets you half price entry. Food was average.
Shannon T — Google review
For me as a German, really interesting to see what is considered typical German in Brasil. There are not many people, as we came here during a rainy day.
Florian F — Google review
Great family fun here. Many great shops and eateries. Great Christmas decorations and displays. One restaurant had live German music playing. An excellent walk. Make sure you check for parking before you arrive. Parking can be challenging.
Mark P — Google review
Nice park with lovely decorative and settings. Good music! Did not go on October fest but nice to see any time.
Antoine A — Google review
Dissapointing visit. Was expecting more of it. Just 2 streets. 5 weeks before easter and they where hanging the whole park full of easter eggs to many for my liking. Very touristic pricing was crazy.
Rik S — Google review
Exactly what it says it is: a tourist attraction with overpriced foods, drinks, and souvenirs. Food quality is fair. We visited during the Christmas event.

Visitors can explore antique brewing equipment and watch videos that showcase the evolution of beer-making processes over time. An amazing experience! Roberto walked me through the museum and I was amazed at the quality of the presentation, information presented, and the thoughtfulness behind each part of the museum. It is very well curated and offers a lot of information not only about the process of making beer but the history too. A must see if you are in Blumenau!
Brandy B — Google review
English speaker gave us the full interactive (tested 3 beers!) tour and explained how beers are made. Lovely historic items to see. Explained about the regular flooding in the city of Blumenau also. Recommend and allow one hour at least.
Helena P — Google review
Who would have thought it a beer museum in Brazil? There is a limited amount to see inside but this is more than compensated for by the entertaining and highly knowledgeable guide. Who would have thought that a Brazilian knew about Thornbridge Brewery. Well worth the visit
W F — Google review
This was a fantastic tour! The guide was able to offer it in English, which is rare in Brazil generally, making it a great option for international visitors. There was lots of interesting information throughout, and you even get to taste a few beers along the way. All in all, it was a really good experience, well worth the money. Highly recommend it!
Wenderson — Google review
I think it is 60 reals but includes drinks and a tour guide (English) as well. Next to the river. Including nearby buildings!

We went only to the bar. Some good draft beers but the food is expensive and not worth it really. The river view is nice.

Amusement park
Beto Carrero World is the largest theme park in Latin America, located in Penha. It offers a mix of thrilling entertainment with themed thrill rides, live cabaret shows, and a zoo. The park is known for its variety of attractions suitable for the whole family. Additionally, Penha boasts beautiful beaches and delicious seafood cuisine, making it an ideal destination for a fun-filled vacation.
A great place for a vacation. Beto Carrero stands out to me because this is one of the first amusement parks that I visited outside my home country. The park has a wide variety of food to choose from though I won't recommend having them if you are in there for rides which gets crazy. I did the following rides, Spin: Perhaps one of the easiest rides. I enjoyed it and maybe you would too. Roller Coaster: This one was crazy. I could barely keep my eyes open throughout the ride though my girlfriend enjoyed the ride. She wants to go for it again tomorrow. Madagascar circus: This was brilliant. I loved it, my girlfriend loved it, the kids loved it and everyone loved it. Though I didn't understand Portuguese, I still could make out what was going on in the circus. River adventure: This made me the happiest because I was relaxed throughout the ride and thankfully it didn't try to kill me. Overall, I am very content with the adventure park. It is beautifully decorated with colours and has those majestic rides that give you an instant adrenaline rush. I am planning to go back tomorrow again to secure the rides I missed on Day 1. I will post another review shortly.
Sumit B — Google review
As a theme park junkie, BCW provides a magical atmosphere for adrenaline seekers and family outings! The Fire Whip is a best in class inverted coaster and the Madagascar river boat is a never ending water maze of fun. You’ll enjoy the Beto Carrero theme through the entire park - plus it’s clean, and the ride lines weren’t too long (we visited on a Monday). The best part is that the staff were friendly and all aspects were firing on all cylinders - all rides and food open! Whip it good!
Jordan Y — Google review
It is really nice place to visit with your kids and let your inner child go crazy with them. Somedays It is full occupied with the school kids trips. The staff need to be on top of crowd management during these busy times with school trips. Better rent stroller ( for kids) or scooter for old people or for yourself in case can't walk enough ( it's huge place to walk around for the shows and attractions). Advice you can rent items outside instead of inside the parque as the prices are way higher
Namaste F — Google review
Amazing park with tons to do for every age and taste! The only catch is: I recommend buying ONLINE AHEAD of time, as the day they wanted to charge us 3x the price but after letting them know we’d not pay that, the manager checked and they were able to give us a discount but it still cost twice as much. Overall great day between shows and rides, ending with fireworks and every one back. Would go back and get tickets/food choices prior to arriving. Ps. Parking is paid extra and they do allow you to enter with backpacks and water ;)
Thuany O — Google review
If I could go back in time, I’d never step foot in this park again. We’re not guests there we’re walking wallets. You guys keep milking us like cows, trying to squeeze every last penny out of us, and we would pay if we were happy , but we were on 100% disappointment . In these photos, you can see a screenshot showing the duration of one of the rides. We waited 45 minutes “Fast Pass” To go for a 40 seconds ride , and you call this “entertainment.” ?? The ride ended before I could even blink, and before you catch your breath, the employee is already rushing you out so the next 600 guests can be pushed in. Absolute garbage. In one of the videos, you can actually see people fighting, angry, shouting, completely frustrated. And that’s where the whole idea of an amusement park disappears. People shouldn’t be angry in a place meant for joy. The woman in that video didn’t even have what it called “Fast Pass” she’d been waiting for three hours. To get a ride for her kids, Meanwhile, your teenage employees move slowly, and couldn’t care less about the people. My advice to the management: Set a limit for yourselves. All this chaos happens because you accept as many guests as you can possibly fit , just to squeeze out a few more millions in the profit margin . Have some decency and put a cap, especially during high season, so people can actually enjoy and leave happy. And please, stop hiring only teenagers. Hire mature, trained adults who can actually handle problems when they arise. My advice to visitors: Avoid this place during high season. If you must go, try March or April , it might be slightly better. Be warned: everything inside is overpriced. Food, drinks, snacks , everything. Popcorn costs +R$30, a basic meal is R$50+, and there are endless extra fees. Don’t think buying the ticket is all you’ll spend , for two adults, expect at least R$300 for entry, another R$200 for the “Fast Pass,” plus 200 drinks and water. In general I won’t come back there again.

Perfect place to enjoy with kids! Beto Carrero park has a lot of attractions (radical, cultural and relaxing) for all ages. I recommend at least 2 days to enjoy most of the attractions If you are travelling with kids. They have partnership with DreamWorks Studios, which allow BCW deliver theme areas and shows, such as Madagascar, Shrek and Trolls.

(Translated by Google) I never imagined someone could make a crepe bad. Well, they did. Not to mention the terrible service. I went with my young daughter to buy a simple crepe. The place was empty, and it still took a while. There were two people making it, and the excuse was that "the machine was cold." Well, if it's a place that sells crepes, the ideal is to have the machine warm so the customer doesn't have to wait for a quick snack. I think because I asked if it would still take (as I said, my daughter is little and hungry), it seems they got angry and made her crepe bad. It was a cheese one, and it tasted strange, with a completely hard, brown crust (inedible). I tried to cut the crust so she could at least eat the filling. She took about three bites and said it was bad. And it was. A shame.

(Translated by Google) I ordered a simple pastel and they sent me the wrong order. Instead of accepting the error and sending me the correct one, they chose to put on a show. First, they forced the waitress to bring my pastel back to the table and cut it in half in front of me, trying to prove they'd sent it correctly. But it was wrong, just as I'd said. This left the waitress completely embarrassed; after all, it wasn't her fault, but she was the one who had to make the situation uncomfortable. Then they sent the correct one. But as if that weren't enough, when I went to pay, the cashier (who I assumed was the one in charge) came over to thank me for pointing out the error in the most passive-aggressive way I've ever seen in a restaurant. Even after I paid, she insisted on "thanking me" again, making things even more awkward. For a place that charges non-customers 10 reais to use the restroom, I don't understand the need for such a fuss over a pastel that would have been wasted because of their mistake. In short, I don't recommend it and won't be back.

Goodness. If there was a negative rating, I would apply it in this rare case. If you spent your childhood years and summers here, then surely its a memory from childhood and scores a 5 on emotional points. If you are a foreigner and have traveled to pretty much any other beach anywhere else on earth, then do not come here. Dark murky sewer infested water with crowded buildings and absolutely no infrastructure. Drive to any other destination and you are sure to find a better way to spend your time. Or stay home and watch netflix with some popcorn

This is used in gardens, squares and parks, and is rich in all the nutrients essential for the health of plants. There are more than 5 km of gardens on the waterfront of the city of Santos. Autódromo José Carlos Pace

Sights & Landmarks
Autódromo José Carlos Pace, opened in 1940, is a renowned track that has hosted major races like the Brazilian Grand Prix as well as festivals and concerts. The circuit spans 4.309 kilometers with 71 laps and was inspired by race car tracks in the UK, France, and the U.S. Visitors have praised the fantastic setup and configuration of the track, offering an adrenaline rush for racing enthusiasts.
Definitely (one of) the best places to watch F1 racing. Many food and drink stands in Sector G. Easy and safe access from Autodromo train station. Unfortunately couldn't find any souvenirs related to SP GP.

Visited the Autódromo for Porsche Cup! Race was great but place needs renovation and more attention asap. You go use the toilets and there’s no paper, no soap, nothing. Seats are peeling on to your clothes. Good thing, it’s very chill. There are food trucks and drink choices right in the complex.

Came here from the US to enjoy my first WEC race for the 6hr of São Paulo. Interlagos has been a dream to visit and it did not disappoint! Great racing and great atmosphere. Not everyone who attended the race cared about racing. The people were always blocking the view to get their instagram photos so that was annoying. The Marshalls did the best they could to keep these people out of the way but people didn’t care. The food and beer were expensive and the way you buy the food and beer is silly. They could have done better with that. This was the first WEC race since 2014 so hopefully next year they are a little more organized.

A most visit for those F1 fans! And for those Senna fans! Even though you can not enter the track, it is possible to walk around the entire circuit. A nice thing to do as well is to visit the kartodrome and take a look to younger Brazilian drivers, who knows... the new Brazilian wonder can be in front of your eyes!

If you want to feel the adrenaline rush then this is the place to visit. I went with a big group of almost 35 people and we were the last racing group for the night. We had so much fun. Some us tried for the first time and others for the 2nd time, then there were those who just knew to drive. I ended up at 19th place if I’m correct. So not bad for a newbie 😅

Interlagos is a second home, amazing as it never disappoints me, my perfect place in the world! I LOVE YOU INTERLAGOS
Pedro P — Google review
The Autodromo track itself is a fantastic setup/configuration and Stand Q, where we were situated, was a great place to be for a lot of action packed fast driving with visuals of Turn 1, the Pit Exit and Turn 2 and 3 on your line in front of you. The racing was epic, the cars, the thrills, the sounds, the track battles all really awesome. The Brasil GP "off track experience" itself was a great letdown to be honest. We were expecting this big hype and atmosphere with activities and events and beer tents and sponsor tents and giveaways and attractions - NOTHING. You can only enter the track area at entrance Q, no other place allowed (so make sure you get dropped at that entrance if taking a taxi/Uber or you will be walking through sewerage strewn back streets}, no other exploring, no other interaction across the GP experience besides your section. The facilities available behind the stand were quite average... Toilets were very clean, but no Mercedes-Amg or other teams dedicated memorabilia stand, only one for Ferrari. There is a general stand but no variety. The vendors on the stands walk through continously pushing through and past people with their big bulky boxes, when they could rather walk up and down the walkways without being a nuisance. There are no trash / rubbish bins on the stands to throw away your containers... Terrible. Everyone was dropping them under the stands. The security officials irritatingly do not allow you to stand up against the fence to take photos which you can clearly see was a big irritation for the spectators wanting to get some photos of their favourite drivers and the action. People were just Hoi G to the fence behind the security guards back, and irritating the security but what else could they do. Getting out of the vicinity after the race is a nightmare, with the traffic officials not getting it right and roads just jamming up - that could really be easily be improved with better management. Expect at least an hour to get out of the vicinity ~ better still, just walk a few blocks and call an Uber (just make sure you walk into the right area if security conscious). This is also due to there being no off track experience as everyone literally just leaves altogether at the same time after the main race. If there was other entertainment then it would stagger this. With saying that, there a A LOT of police present on foot, motorbike and in vehicles all over and within the vicinity. Overall the "F1 RACING" experience was phenomenal to see for the first time, but the spectator experience off track could really be pumped up and encourage the fans to spend more time at the track (and spend more money there).

Sao Paulo GP great experience! Loved every minute of it. It was really sunny, sunscreen is mandatory. It takes to get in, you should go really early, but it is really worth it.

Sights & Landmarks
Fo Guang Shan Temple Zu Lai is situated in Cotia, just 40 km from Sao Paulo. The temple, consecrated in 1992, spans around 150,000 square meters and follows the teachings of Fo Guang Shan (Humanistic Buddhism). Visitors are impressed by the friendly people who gladly explain the beautiful and well-maintained grounds. The serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings make it a peaceful place to explore.

I visited this place to get acquainted with the culture of Buddhism. It was a wonderful experience, people are friendly and will gladly show and explain everything, the building and the territory are very beautiful and well maintained. Very quiet, calm and spiritually and mentally ... Free parking, and next to a huge beautiful green park with a pond in which there are many turtles. Bought some Chinese souvenirs and incense from a local shop.

I was able to visit the temple last Sunday with friends, and I must say that it was such a stellar place! It is not hard to navigate, everything can be found rather easily. The lake they have there is lovely, having fish and turtles that were easy to see. We saw some colourful birds, and the bridge over the lake was a cool feature. There are vivid, colourful landscapes to be seen. The statues remind you that you are not in an ordinary place. The temple itself and its surroundings are nothing like the architecture we see in this country, so it draws your eyes to the roofs, walls, doors, finishings and more. There were people ready to provide useful information. There was some sort of celebration going on, and it was interesting to see. This is definitely a great place to visit even if you are not a religious individual, as the temple is absolutely stunning!

An incredible mix of famous Brazilian brands and many international luxury goods. Be prepared to walk a lot through this enchanting open mall in a beautiful San Roque warm weather. Lots of restaurants options or small bites. Plenty of parking. Don’t forget to visit the lower floor with Adriana Degreas, Pat Bo, Carol Bassi and Tania Bulhões to name a few. Another interesting feature is that you can join a WhatsApp group with news from the brands you appreciate.

Nice place to visit if you’re in São Paulo. It’s not actually in the capital, but if you have a car, it worth’s the visit. There are several brands there, and if you have an elder together, they offer wheel chairs for free. Just need a brief registration with personal ID. Regarding the prices, not a big deal. Some products have discounts, others don’t. So don’t expect to buy everything you want there.

For you to go from São Paulo all the way there, you have to get, at least, good prices. This is not the case. Only one or other store offer good deal. The food court is very limited but you can bring with you your pet. Parking is another problem. It takes a while to find a spot.

Cool place to spend some time and buy some brand clothes for a relatively good price.

Beautiful place, very good facilities. Famous brands and a good variety of stores.

Nice place if you pass by. If you are looking for clothes from brands it has enough options. In weekend it is busy, but possible to do. Parking is R$ 8.- (may 2017) what is strange for a middle of nowhere location. But must be that they want to make as much as money as possible :-)

Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Parque da Mônica São Paulo is the largest indoor park in Latin America, offering a vibrant and educational experience for children. Inspired by Mauricio de Sousa's comic characters, this lively venue features over 20 colorful attractions including roller coasters, climbing activities, and themed spaces like prince/princesses castle. While it may be a bit pricey compared to international theme parks, it provides an ideal setting for young kids to have fun.
Great experience for kids of all ages. Be sure to watch the show which I think is done twice a day.

Do not recommend this location on hot days. I went in January with my daughter because the sun was unbearable and was hoping for a place with air conditioning. Oh my, I made a bad mistake It was 30⁰+ inside, my blood pressure went down, I had to leave because the car was much better. Spend your money somewhere else
Luciana B — Google review
Very well organized with active staff keeping clean and safe. Good food options available inside and nearby (you can leave and return with hand stamp. Good number of activities and rides. Good value.

The best park for young kids in São Paulo. No good options for eating, but it's in front of the food court of the shopping mall.

It's a good park to spend with children. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and politely. There are a lot of things to entertain children and also some attractions includes adults. All very light as expected. Many colors, lights and ambient sound for kids. In case of need, there is a silent room. Specials children are also included to have fun as everyone else.

A very beautiful family friendly park, you can get your tickets at the reception before entering the park, it is so beautiful! Lots of safe kid’s friendly activities, my favorite is the water ride! I enjoyed it with my son, it’s a lovely place.
ITZZEES H — Google review
Costs around R$60 per adult, so a little expensive compared to theme parks abroad for what it is. Seemed somewhat like a fairground (aside from the roller-coaster and log flume), albeit with a theme throughout. My daughter (2 years old) thoroughly enjoyed it though, and it was absolutely ideal for her. We spent about 4 hours there. Kids need to be around 0.80m or above to get the most from all the rides.
