(Translated by Google) The place is very beautiful and brings together the beauty of nature with the meeting of the river and the sea. The beach forms natural pools at low tide. What leaves something to be desired is the price. In addition to the high price, they charge an artistic cover charge without prior notice and the caipirinha we ordered had more ice than anything else. The price charged at the entrance includes lunch served at a buffet, which in my opinion was good.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful beach! Throughout the day, pools with warm water form. It meets the river, and it's not recommended to enter the river except in an area designated by security. Good facilities, with lounge chairs and live music. Pay R$120.00 for a day use, including lunch, which is a great value and offers a variety of quality food. We ordered juice and fries, and they charged a cover charge when we paid, which wasn't mentioned when we booked with the guide, and there's no notice about this charge. Otherwise, everything went well. There's a viewpoint and several wildlife such as monkeys, lizards, and herons. It's worth visiting on one day of your trip.

Praia do Francês is a well-known beach located in the city of Marechal Deodoro, about 20 km from Maceio. It's known for its reef pools that are perfect for swimming and offers various water sports activities. The area also has food and souvenir vendors to cater to visitors. The beach is praised for its cleanliness and relatively less crowded compared to other beaches in the region. Visitors recommend specific tents on the beach for an enjoyable stay and highlight the beautiful sunset views.
Definitely worth a visit! Wonderful beach for long walks (over 5km if you want!). The ocean is warm and the reef provides a safe area for swimming and snorkeling. The open ocean is great for surfing, but some areas have strong currents so be careful if you are outside the reef areas. There is a nice walkway just above the beach as well.
Ken G — Google review
It's one of the best beaches i saw and the area around it has so much pusadas, restaurants, super markets cafes you not need to go to another place
Mohamed H — Google review
Wish the businesses would clean the beach area. There were dead fish along the water line. Bottle caps buried in the sand. Beach area lost 2 stars due to cleanliness and aggressive vendors. The water is nice. There is a wave breaker wall. Parts of the beach are crowded with businesses and people. I selected the area near the lifeguard tower as it was less crowded. 50R$ for table and umbrella if you don't order food.

Was the first time here and I really wish to come back. There's 2 kiosk to order food and drink, but the view and the sunset it's awesome.

Praia de Pajuçara is a bustling beach with tranquil waters and opportunities to take boat trips to famous pools just off the coast. The beach features soft white sand and calm, light blue waters with gentle waves, making it perfect for families looking to relax. Visitors can rent beach chairs for a reasonable price and enjoy a variety of snacks, drinks, and meals available for purchase.
Excellent choice for friends and family a bit touristy and a lot of locals trying to sell you something, constantly, which is kind of annoying , but other than that , warm and green water
Wellington M — Google review
Dirty beach, old infrastructure and weird local people and beggars. I do not recommend for a family. The streets around are also dirty, no marked crossings in the city and the car and motorcar trafic is high. It is a pitty, because it has a great potential. The local authority just need to move out all the trash and regulate the annoying local vendors.
Ondrej — Google review
Awesome beach, really worth visiting. Between November and March, if it's not crowded you just walk along the shore and you will be offered seats ("cadeiras") under a sunshade or sunbrella for R$30. It might get really crowded on Sundays.
Cristian L — Google review
Plain awful. The water is disgusting and it is unclear as to whether the water is muddy or if it is sewage. We walked the entire length of the beach and didn’t find it suitable to get in at any point. The sand itself is fine. I cannot understand how this beach gets such high ratings. Avoid this beach if planning on getting in the water.

Disheartening how absolutely disgusting this beach is. Unless you are into loud sound bars from every other group, into piles of trash mixed with algae, and into muddy ocean floor, this place is not for you. The 2 stars go to how this beach looks from far away: pretty ocean reefs and blue sea water. Unfortunately up close, it is a disappointment. Avoid!
Dan T — Google review
Nice place for shopping and eating, the beach is beautiful but bathing is more complicated due to the dumping of the open air sewer into the ocean... Go to Marechal Deodoro instead.

I have been going to Sonho verde starting in 1976. This is by far the best beach for its natural beauty and calm waters. No big crowds and a real Green Dream as the namesake. I have been a property owner since 2006 and will be building next to Sonho verde very soon.

(Translated by Google) I had seen a photo of some people who came to this beach before it rained, and the water was darker than I had seen it, and in some it was clearer. It is a sea that starts to get rougher after 5 o'clock, but there is still a part in front where the fishermen are in water up to their waists (for this you need to know the tide and the level).

(Translated by Google) Sonho Verde beach is in Paripueira. We got there using the Paradise Bar and Restaurant support point. We went early in the morning to take advantage of the low tide and the immense rock formations in the area, where you can walk a long way into the sea, see several species of marine life, take some good photos and enjoy the little beach that forms there. It was excellent. It didn't even seem like we were 200 meters from the beach. The strip of sand is not that big, so when the tide comes in it's hard to walk. So it's important to always check the tide table to avoid surprises. It was a great day of photos and memories of this wonderful beach in Alagoas. For those who are in doubt, we recommend setting aside at least one day and enjoying everything this place has to offer. Tips: check the tide table, and if you're going to walk on the rock formations, don't go barefoot. In addition to the sea urchins, the rocks can cause cuts and falls.

(Translated by Google) Tabuba Beach, in Barra de Santo Antônio (AL), is a destination that deserves a 5-star rating for its natural beauty and tranquility. The calm sea, with stretches of crystal-clear water and natural pools at low tide, creates a perfect setting for both families and those looking to relax without the hustle and bustle of more famous beaches. The wide, clean stretch of sand, surrounded by coconut trees, creates a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. Although it still maintains a simpler atmosphere, it offers a few tent options that ensure a comfortable stay, without losing the feeling of direct contact with nature. Its proximity to Paripueira and a short distance from Maceió also make it easy to access, reinforcing its value as a tourist destination. It's a place that combines beauty, tranquility, and convenience, while remaining authentic and unpretentious. At low tide you can go to the natural pools, be careful of jellyfish, there are many near the fishermen. (Take vinegar with you to wash your face in case you touch one). Many turtles too, a captivating scene. Now the restaurants... many leave a lot to be desired! The vast majority are either destroyed or dirty, with terrible service, very slow staff, bad and expensive food. And as a bonus if you don't pay attention to the bill... You pay a lot more. Always check the entire bill!!! Tip: Bring your own snacks, your own cooler and enjoy paradise. May the City Hall and the Health Department check these restaurants. And close the ones that are no longer able to survive. They need to improve a lot to be good. Verifiquem sempre toda a conta !!! The service was exceptional; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcome. Overall, it's a perfect spot for families to unwind and create wonderful memories together. We highly recommend it!

Huge disappointment. First of all, if you’re going to invest millions into developing a beach club priced so high that locals can’t afford it, at least invest in better roads to access it. We showed up and were told it was closed. This made no sense as it was shown as open everywhere online. Not worth it at all!

Great experience, place, and beach, with good food from what we ordered, though service was a bit slow when we needed a cooler.

The beach chairs could be better and the drinks with more ice but on the other hand the service and the food are awesome.

Great experience. Very nice way to enjoy praia do Toque. Stayed at the tables on the beach (which do not cost extra). Delicious food (crunchy shrimp and the shrimp and octopus duo were very good) and good drinks. Superb service. They set us up with a cruise to the natural pools for R$80 each person. Good snorkeling.
Vinicius P — Google review
Live music they have every day from about 12-4 always sounds the same and is ridiculously loud. Hurts the ears of patrons and pollutes the calm natural environment of the beach and nearby hotels. Only in Brazil would this be allowed… unfortunate.

Very cozy and clean place. Live music, clean pool, restaurant, small shops, dive spot, beach access, full bar, gazebos, massages and much more. Staff is extremely nice. I definitely recommend!

Beach Patacho is a serene and exclusive destination, offering an intimate stay with simple cottage quarters in a casual guesthouse near the beach. The area is known for its untouched paradise, and visitors can enjoy the comfort and convenience of an All Inclusive Resort when taking a tour from Japaratinga Lounge Resort. The small guesthouses in the vicinity offer safe and well-decorated environments for those seeking tranquility and silence.
We took a small beautiful Haus in this wonderful piece of Brazilian nature enjoying the Long Beach and the beautiful sea. Afters the sea level goes down you are able to see a lot of small islands covered with a lot of corals and form a lot of natural pools

(Translated by Google) Small guesthouse with only 2 chalets, located in the best part of Patacho Beach (only 100m from the sea but with chairs and umbrellas on the beach and far from the operators' reception areas). Super exclusive, safe and well-decorated environment for those who want peace and quiet. Naturally heated pool due to the heat of the region. Fair price. Very friendly and attentive owners with great experience in hosting people. Thank you for your kindness and chats. (Translated by Google) An intimate place to stay. Exclusive environment, since the surrounding inns are not accessible to everyone and neither are the remains to eat. The place itself is very good, the room has everything you need to be comfortable: good mattress, good shower, large bathroom, good air conditioning. Breakfast is very good and complete. However, there are no markets in the surrounding area where you can buy food or even a bottle of water, so you must pay what the inn requests. This particular accommodation, because it is small and not on the beach, tries to provide you with lounge chairs and an umbrella. Anyway, at lunch time, you end up looking for a hostel, because the place does not provide food. And since in those places they give you the umbrella and the lounge chair with the drink you end up staying there, hahaha... at least that's how it happened to us... The beach is nice, you can walk to the natural pools, I recommend wearing water shoes now there are hidden urchins and sharp corals under the water. The beach may not appeal to everyone, since the dynamics are determined by the rise and fall of the tide... for many hours the water reaches your knees no matter how much you walk (a kilometer leisurely). Happy stay! Feliz estancia!

(Translated by Google) Japaratinga Beach - Japaratinga- Alagoas . Japaratinga is one of the most charming destinations on the northern coast of Alagoas, located about 120 km from Maceió. The city is close to the famous Maragogi, but offers a more peaceful and preserved climate, perfect for those seeking peace and natural beauty. Japaratinga Beach stands out for its crystal clear waters in shades of blue and green, natural pools formed at low tide and a backdrop of coconut trees as far as the eye can see. The sea is generally calm, ideal for swimming and boat trips, especially to visit the coral reefs. The region also has cliffs and viewpoints that provide incredible views of the coast. In addition to the paradisiacal sea, Japaratinga has a rustic and welcoming atmosphere, with small charming inns and restaurants serving fresh seafood. Among the most popular tours are visits to the natural pools, buggy tours along the region's beaches and the ferry crossing to Porto de Pedras, where the famous manatee sanctuary is located. If you are looking for a destination in Alagoas to relax and enjoy nature without the hustle and bustle of the more famous tourist spots, Japaratinga is an excellent choice.

There are plenty of options for those who want and can afford to spend money, with numerous buggy, boat, and catamaran tours, but there's also plenty for those who want to go on their own and not spend too much. The location is a fishing village that has become disorganized; I found the access roads quite dirty. There are several shopping options. The nature, the beaches, and the friendly and attentive people are the highlights. It's 10 km from Maragogi and close to São Miguel dos Milagres. Excellent beach. Clear and calm waters. You can walk to the corals when the tide is low (5km aprox) There are small bars that rent a table with beach umbrella and chairs as long as you need only by consuming a 'petisco' (which is a kind of fast food). There are also 'beach vendors' that provides ice creams, 'cocadas' (kind of sweet cookie made from coconut and condensed milk, excellent), coconut water... etc. You'll also find kids selling their art, or at least expecting you to see how they create their art, they are awesome.

Great place to learn about the history of Brazilian North east handicraft art. This is the house where Mestre Vitalino used to live at the end of his life. He constructed the house itself. Ingá Stone - PB

Beautiful stone with well preserved petrogplyphs from the indiginous people. The stone is a bit in the middle of no where and when we visited we were the only people. There is a total of four places were you can clearly see petroglyphs. The main stone carving resembles a flood with a wave, followed by plants, palms and people. Some stone carvings also seem to represent stars. The site also has an information panel and many trees/plants have an information sign explaining what the plant is. There is also a small museum with an entrance of 5 real. Overall, really worth visiting this archeoligical site. The entrance is surprisingly free and the access road is in good conditions. The walking path to and around the Ingá stone are in good condition but some places might be difficult to walk for older people.

The Ingá Stone is located in the middle of the Ingá River in the small Brazilian city of Ingá (know you know how it got its name). What is it? It’s a rock formation that is covered with petroglyphs (or stone picture carvings). The prehistoric carvings were done over time and the most recent additions may have been added as recently as the 18th Century—all done by local native tribes. The meaning and/or purpose of these carvings is unknown and undeciphered. Some of the carvings resemble animals, fruits, the Orion Constellation and other less-easily distinguishable figures. The carvings are also known as the Itacoatiara do Ingá (pronounced: “EEta- cwa – tiara”), which is the name in the Tupi language of the original natives. “Ita” means stone and “coatiara” means picture. This is not the only such site with carvings in this part of Brazil, but it is one of the biggest. Still, when we visited, there was nobody here. The northeast of Brazil is less-visited by tourists than the south; this site sits 100 kilometers (60 miles) from the capital of the state, so that also contributes to the lack of tourism, but that’s good for you if you do go! To get there, the roads aren’t bad and you can find it on your Waze or Google Maps. I was really impressed with this site and I was very glad I visited. If you’re anywhere near here, you really should come visit.

Geologic Formations
Dozens of enormous boulders scattered on a plateau with panoramic views over an arid landscape.
Very nice location. Be aware you can only access trough Cabaceiras. Google may guide you via the 412 and Aldeia but that road is closed. You need to buy tickets at Hotel Faizenda Pia Mateus. Guide is included in ticket price. Guide speaks Portuguese only.

First, this is a difficult place to visit. A group guide is required, that is available only at the fazeda (hotel) near the entrance. Secondly, know that reaching the hotel involves driving about 45 minutes on rough gravel roads. The tour is set-time, staring at 4:00 PM and ending after dark. Thus you are driving back to the paved road on dark gravel roads. Now for the tour. The group will walk a couple of miles with a serious incline. This is not mountain climbing, but rigorous for old and fat people. The group stops at various location to observe the "Flintstones" terrain. There are indeed odd rocks, massive boulders scattered about. Nothing comparable in the USA. The end of the walk is on top, with a perfect view of the surrounding valley and sunset. Take lots of photos. Tnis is highly recommended, if the logistics are not too scary. Oh, if you want you can eat and lodge at the hotel. This will avoid the nighttime drive back across the unpaved roads.

(Translated by Google) Definitely worth the visit and the view!! There are several options for having fun in Lagedo (if we could, we wouldn't leave so soon). The price of the visit is expensive (R$120 full price/R$60 half price per person) and limited to 1h30. It's a good idea to wear 5* sneakers to the place. (Original) Com certeza vale a visita e a vista!! (Translated by Google) Hello, my Campina Grande, whoever saw you and whoever sees you will never recognize you again :) We were in Campina Grande, Paraíba, on August 7, 2024, after approximately 10 years. * It was a true reunion of souls, as I'm from Campina Grande, and revisiting the city brought back many special memories from the time I lived there for 18 long years. * We visited the Açude Velho, which for me is Campina Grande's most beautiful landmark. The place is stunning, right in the heart of the city. The promenade around the reservoir is widely used for walking, running, cycling, and events, offering a safe, spacious, and pleasant space for those who enjoy outdoor physical activities. * The surrounding nature, the view of the buildings, and the incredible sunset make the place even more special. It's easy to understand why it's one of the city's main tourist attractions. Besides the scenery, there are historical sites nearby, two museums, and the Parque da Criança (Children's Park) nearby. There are also parking spaces, making visiting the area much easier. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and kiosks. It's definitely worth visiting or revisiting. A true symbol of Campina Grande, it makes for great photos and memories.

They only offer 1 sample for their cachaça range and it was very disappointing as we were expecting to try at least a couple or 3 of them to decide which ones to buy. I have been told that in past you had the option to do exactly that and actually try multiple samples of different types of cachaça. I am giving 3 stars instead of 2 just because the place looks pretty and instagrammable, although not worth the 25 reais entry fee.

Nice place to visit and see production of chachaca. Some samples are provided for the $R10 admission. The tour was poorly organized. Nice lake with boats there! There are vendors lining the road before entry to the engenho, so beware of them before you do the tour. Ice cream was different.

Just one thing to keep in mind: Do this trip between 8 and 9 in the morning, because when the tide is high it's not a good trip.
