Kushi Beach Resort is a large, tranquil white-sand beach destination offering a calm swimming environment. The resort provides spacious air-conditioned rooms with dining areas, bathrooms, hot water, and TVs. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast during their stay. Although the resort does not have its own beach, it is located near Ariyaman Beach where visitors can take leisurely strolls or swim in the less deep waters suitable even for young children.
It is an excellent beach resort. Just 50 metres from the beach. The resort has entertainment too
Rooms are elegant and covered entirely by wood. Actually this cottage has four beds too. Innovatively, the TV is located in a separate annexe without disturbing the persons occupied the bed.
The restaurant is too good in a thatched shed under the shadow of trees. Excellent ambience.
In Ramnad, no other entertainment except this resort.
Swimming pool is very big and we can go for a deep swim. The water falls is also there and children would love it.
The room is designed round and covered by wood. Very nice .
For a functions, it is a good place for conduct in a open lawn and umbrella type dinings are aso there.
Room rent is affordable.

The location of the resort is excellent, close to the Ariyaman Beach. However, the overall maintenance of the property is quite poor. The swimming pool was dirty, and the mini waterfalls were surrounded by an unclean environment. The garden area also lacked proper upkeep.
While the food served was decent, the dining and common areas were not well-maintained. The kids' play area had broken rides, making it unsafe and unappealing for children.
On a positive note, Mr. Iyappa was very courteous and took good care of us. He even offered small gifts to our kids, which we appreciated. The pricing was reasonable, but the resort desperately needs better maintenance to match its potential and location.

The rooms are quite different, designed with a nature-based theme. There's a bit of sand and a mild smell, but overall they’re good for staying. The swimming pool and water park are enjoyable, while the food is of average taste
After dhanushakodi, this is the most famous beach in rameshwaram. You can reach here with your car. Highly recommended. You can enjoy a meal at kadal virundhu family sea food restaurant. They serve authentic sea food. Must try their combo.

We went exactly at 4 PM in the evening, and that’s when the walkway opened, so it was free without any crowd. Lord Murugan is on top of the hill, but there are only a few steps, making it easy to climb. There are small shops around, and parking facilities are available.

Such a majestic temple. But, you will need to climb the stairs and you will not feel tired. It’s pretty easy and there are a troop of monkeys. So beware of your belongings as they do snatch the completed darshans.

We had a divine experience while worshipping this Karpaga Vinayagar for the first time in our life. The temple is awesome and maintained well inside and outside. The Pond and the surrounding are beautiful. The Main Gopuram view was awesome to look at.

Very good temple and no heavy rush simple darsan, even in the weekend also. It takes only 15 minutes for darsan. Deity also devotional made with alankaram and properly visible.

The Fort Structure is large and has a towering granite walls with cannon(artillery gun). Rock cut Temple, Impressive sculptures.
Lord shivalinga is also there inside it hard to climb so avoid that.

The fort will not be an apt word for this. Seems like a watch tower to me. It has a Siva temple which I saw. But in google it says there is a Vishnu temple and a darbar too in it which I couldn't identify. No guide , no signages . Archeological India should ensure all these exist.

At the top of the fort you can see the whole city.. actually fort wall designed layer by layer to prevent and attack the enemies.. near fort siva and perumal kudaivarai statue temple is located.. you can visit that also... My visit to Brihadeeswara Temple in Thanjavur was an experience I’ll never forget. The moment I saw the towering vimana from a distance, I was completely awestruck. The temple is massive yet perfectly balanced, and every single carving tells a story from our history and faith.
As I walked through the courtyard, I could feel the spiritual energy in the air. The stone floor, warm under the sun, seemed to carry centuries of prayers and footsteps. Despite the crowd, there was a calmness that made me want to stay longer. The Nandi statue, carved from a single stone, is unbelievably beautiful, and the details on the walls are so intricate that you can spend hours just admiring them.

One of the most majestic and peaceful temples I’ve ever visited! The Brihadeeshwara Temple truly lives up to its name - grand, serene, and full of history. The Chola architecture is breathtaking, with intricate carvings and an atmosphere that feels timeless.
I visited in the afternoon and stayed till evening. During the afternoon, the whole temple complex felt calm and soothing - I even took a short nap under the shade in the temple for a few hours and it was so relaxing. Later in the evening, when the temple lights came on, the entire structure glowed beautifully against the twilight sky. It was truly magical - the perfect blend of spirituality and artistry.
A must-visit if you’re in or around Thanjavur. Make sure to stay till evening to see the temple illuminated - it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

Don't miss this temple if you are visiting Tamilnadu or Thanjavur. Enough parking available outside temple . Mobile is allowed only inside the compound,not inside main Temple .

It's also a very pictures worthy place with beautiful backgrounds . Entry fee is 50Rupees . Enough parking space for 2 wheeler and 4 wheelers. There is also a small museum with household products of those era . A small library is also there if you want to know study more of that era .

When in trichy, you can go to this temple but please make sure you are fit to climb around 300 steps. If you have any knee pain or foot pain, please skip this temple.

This temple in Srirangam is around 2 kms from the more famous Ranganatha temple. It is dedicated to Jambukeshwarar (Shiva) and Akhilandeswari (Parvathi). Legend has it that Parvathi prayed in the Jambu forrest and created a lingam made of water from Kaveri river. This temple is one of the pancha bhoota sthalams, signifying water as its element.
As one enters one of the gopurams, one gets the feeling that the temple is relatively small with an open space, pond and gardens. When one goes further inside, the massive enclosure in which the temple stands reveals itself. The precincts are beautiful, some of them with many ornate pillars. The sanctum of the temple is dedicated to Lord Jambukeshwarar and is a small space where not more than 5 people can stand at a time.
It is a beautiful structure and a must visit for anyone visiting Srirangam/Trichy along with the Ranganatha temple. We did not see any designated parking around the temple and had to park on one of the lanes in the vicinity.
Divine Evening Visit to Jambukeshwara Temple
We visited the Jambukeshwara Temple in the evening, and it was a serene and peaceful experience. This temple represents the Jala Lingam (water element) among the five Panchabootha Lingas, and it was our final stop to complete the sacred journey of all five. The temple’s architecture is beautiful, and the spiritual energy inside is truly calming.
The approach roads are quite narrow, but there is sufficient parking space near the temple. Inside, we were delighted to see the temple elephant, which added to the traditional and sacred atmosphere. The priests were polite and helpful, and the overall experience was memorable and spiritually fulfilling — highly recommended for anyone visiting Trichy!
A simple yet beautiful Shiva shrine surrounded by an awe-inspiring enclosure of mandapams and pathways. The entrance, with the Nandi Mandapam and its four gigantic pillars, is among the most magnificent in any South Indian temple. Visit very much recommended. There is a new rule of no photography but you can carry your cames in the temple.

The temple has fine architecture. It is believed that goddess Akilandeswari is worshipping Lord Siva daily at noon. An archagar dressessed as a lady worshipping Jambukeswarar and cow at noon. Cow puja is famous here..
A huge temple complex Jabukeshwara Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is worshipped as the water element in this temple. It is around 10kms from the city of Trichy or Tiruchirapalli. On weekdays the temple here usually open at 5.00am and closes at 12.30 pm. And opens again at 4.00pm. One suggestion to all travelers do not refer timings given on Google to schedule your visit. Timings may change unexpectedly.

Peaceful and spiritual experience at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple.
I visited the temple yesterday on the full moon day. It was quite crowded, with special prayers going on, but the atmosphere was very peaceful and filled with devotion. Despite the crowd, everything was well managed, and it felt nice to see so many people gathered in faith.
The annadhanam was well organized and served with care — simple, tasty, and offered with genuine warmth. Overall, it was a good spiritual experience and a reminder of the calm that such places bring.

Best time to visit will be early in the morning and early in the evening before the temple closes, to avoid crowd.
I was not able to get a Darshan because of the long que, even though it was disappointing, the exploration into the architecture made me compensate.

One of the two brahma temples in India. A must visit in Trichy. The historical significance makes this temple a place one should never miss when they are on a pilgrimage. There is a beautiful outdoor spaces surrounding the temple that lets you relax and meditate.
A nice and peaceful temple located out of the way in Tirupattur in Trichy. Unlike the more commercial temples, this one wasn't crowded. This is actually a Shiva temple with a special shrine dedicated to Brahma. Legend has it that after Shiva cursed Brahma that he wouldn't be worshipped, Brahma did severe penance at the location of this temple. Shiva pleased, allowed Brahma to have a shrine here. So Brahma apparently changed his destiny, which is what many of the devotees here aim to do.
Various types of poojas are done here and there is a big board outside the temple listing how many deepams to be lit depending on what desire needs to be fulfilled, including 'blessing for the birth of a son' :)
There are many monkeys in the area so be careful with any eatables.
There are 12 shiva lingams in a garden next to the temple. These are situated near a tank called the Brahma Theertam. We visited in the evening, there were many bats inside the shrines containing the lingams. Please be careful if you want to step inside. There is also a statue of sage Patanjali in the temple.
The only temple where there is a separate shrine for Brahma. If course within the brahamapurreswarar temple. Brahma is cursed without any shrine or devotees because her lied having seen the head of Shiva. Well maintained temple but cleanliness needs a lot to be improved. Variety of deepams and coconut breaking rituals are well explained.

Presiding deity Lord Brahmapureeswarar is suyambu here and is seen slightly slanted. HIS consort Goddess Brahmasampath Gauri is housed separately in standing posture facing east. Lord Brahma worshipped 12 Lingams here including moolavar - devotees can see some near Brahma theertham and some in the prakaaram as well. A separate sannidhi for Lord Brahma, a big one with 3 heads is in the prakaaram. It is believed that Pathaanjali Muni attained JS here as well (one among 10 places). Temple renovation work is going on.

This ancient temple dating more than 10 centuries back and patronized by Cholas and Vijayanagar emperors is located in Karur, just a Km away from the Karur Bus stand. The temple is also near to the ancient Vaishnavite temple, Kalyana Venkatramana Temple on Thanthondri Malai.
The Lord of the temple is Pasupathi also called as Aanilai. Goddess is named Soundaryanakai. This is one of the 275 Padal Petra Sthalams as it finds a place in the Thevara Hymns of Thirugnana Sambandar.

A very very old and antique temple from the karur city. We can see the art of statues from this temple tower. We should go to this place for peaceful. A big space in this temple for other programs like nattiyanjali and traditional programs. And now front of the tower painted colourfully. We can feel a goddess peace, when we enter the sreasury of temple. Everybody should meditate at least 10 minutes here. Out of treasury each and every places are very clean. In drinking water source giving RO system. And they has mentioned as "WATER OFFERING".
(21/2/22), beautiful temple in my locality it was renovated last couple years. The main god here is shiva surrounded by lord ganesh, murugan, Amman, Brahma, 63 nayanmargal etc. It's a bit big temple we can see separate Mandapam for karuvurar. This temple has its own history, this place was once a forest and it is mostly used for pasture, one day the cow which was grazing went straight to snake pit nearby, cow poured it's milk on pit and where the lord Shiva found and that place was made as temple by the locality and consideration as most powerful. This story can be also found in entrance of kodi maram or inside their is a sculpture which describes the history of this temple

You need to pay a small fee for vehicle entry, but after that there is a large dedicated parking area. It was easy to park, even on weekends.

This is a legacy temple with deep history and cultural significance. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is believed to be built during the Chola dynasty and has a unique charm with its simple yet powerful architecture. The inner sanctum feels very peaceful, and the temple atmosphere is calm and divine.
👥 Crowd & Atmosphere:
The temple was not crowded during my visit, which allowed for an unhurried darshan. The priests were respectful, and the overall experience was very soulful compared to more commercialized temples.
🍲 Food Options Nearby:
Around the temple, there are a few small village-side hotels/restaurants — more like simple sheds — where you can get lunch or basic meals. The food was okay, but don’t expect too much since it’s prepared in a simple village style. Still, it adds to the authentic rural experience.

Surrounded by the hills and greenery, the temple has a refreshing climate. The approach roads are scenic, and the temple itself adds to the heritage vibe of Kolli Hills.

Further Lord Muruga with his consorts is placed right opposite to Aram valartha Nayagi. The background is composed of Lord Vinayaka, Kasi Vishwanathar, Visalakshi, Mahalakshmi, Mahasaraswathi, Jyestadevi, Durgai, Kalabhairavar and Navagraha sannidhi, apart from Sun & Moon shrines. And then the famous rotating stones are there.
To be visited atleast once in lifetime.
Not to forget the darshan of SRI CHAKRAM in Ambal sannidhi.

Nestled in the stunning Kolli Hills, Aagaya Gangai Waterfalls is a breathtaking destination that promises an unforgettable adventure. The water fall is very beautiful and high. There are 1200 steps one side to reach the base of the waterfall which is steep and tiring, but it’s worth it.
Must visit spot when you are planning to track the amazing 70 hairpins of the Kolli hills.

Not a falls person but this made me one. It was majestic, spectacular and huge. We had to climb down steep steps of 1100 steps to get down there. Getting up again might be difficult. But it's worth the trip. Literally the best falls in Tamil Nadu imo.

Visiting “Aagaya Gangai Waterfalls” in the “Kolli Hills” was an unforgettable experience—a perfect mix of natural beauty and an adventurous trek! The waterfall itself is absolutely mesmerising, with crystal-clear water cascading down lush green rocks, creating a serene and almost magical atmosphere. The sound of the falls, the cool mist in the air, and the surrounding dense forest make it feel like a hidden paradise.
However, reaching the falls is “not for the faint-hearted!” The descent involves “around 1,200 steep steps”, and while the views along the way are stunning, the climb down (and especially back up) is quite challenging. The steps can be slippery, so wearing “good trekking shoes” is a must. There are a few resting spots along the way, but be prepared for a strenuous workout. If you’re not used to long treks, take it slow and carry enough water.
Once you reach the bottom, the sight of the “powerful waterfall” makes every step worth it! The pool at the base is perfect for a refreshing dip, though the currents can be strong, so caution is needed. The untouched beauty of the place makes it feel like a secret escape from the world.
Tips for future visitors:
✅ Start early to avoid the midday heat.
✅ Carry snacks, water, and a change of clothes.
✅ Wear “non-slip shoes” the steps can be treacherous.
✅ If you have knee or mobility issues, reconsider the trek.
The journey back up is even harder, so pace yourself. But honestly, the sheer beauty of Aagaya Gangai makes the struggle worthwhile. It’s one of the most stunning waterfalls in Tamil Nadu, and the sense of accomplishment after completing the trek is unbeatable!

This temple is of a large sized boon giving Anjaneya in standing posture. Here Anjaneya with folded hands, is facing the sannidhi of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha across the road. Regular Pujas and Thirumanjanams are held to this deity by aspiring devotees - including betel leaves mala, sandal paste, white butter, vadamala etc. A must visit temple in Namakkal & a popular Parihara sthalam.

I love this 💕 due to its location and the architecture brilliance.
This temple is located on a hill top with good roads but narrow roads. They charge you ₹30 for cars and ₹20 for bikes. Lengthy vehicles are not allowed so try to use cars or bikes.
There is a lot of parking space available in the open parking place so be mindful about the time of visit. This temple is open until 2:00 pm in the afternoon and reopens after 4:00 pm. There is not much of a crowd and it will take approx. 1 hour to complete the entire temple visit. Unless there are any pooja ongoing.
A special Q was available at a cost of ₹25 but still free Q itself is a better option to live with.
Take some food if required as you won't find many options on the hill top.
No monkey menace when we visited so I hope nothing to worry about monkeys. Refer the images for more information.

The temple is considered one of the oldest in the region, with inscriptions on its walls suggesting it might be around 2000 years old. It is also one of the 276 Paadal Petra Sthalams, highly revered Shiva temples glorified in the Thevaram hymns composed by the Saivite saints, notably Thirugnanasambanthar.
The temple is open from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and then from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The hill road to reach the temple is accessible only until 5:45 PM; after that, vehicle entry is restricted. Sometimes, the free queue for darshan gets jammed because devotees at the front spend a long time praying before the deity, which can inconvenience others and prevent them from spending sufficient time inside the shrine.
Wonderful experience in travel to the temple towards the hill track and return. Waiting for a hour for Swamy Daridhan due to Swami Alangaaram. One of my best experiences in my pilgrimage tour.

Also you have temple buses which takes you from city to hill top. It’s a relatively modern temple (built around 2010) under the care of the Vinayaka Mission.
It has 1008 Shiva lingams arranged such that 1007 surround a central lingam, with a statue of Nandi in front.
On the hilltop, the main shrine houses Sri Umaiyambigai Samedha Sri Arunachala Sundareswara.
The temple is located on Salem’s bypass road, in Ariyanoor, about 14 km from Salem city centre.

I truly regret having missed this divine place during my previous travels through Salem. This is a serene and peaceful location, nestled amidst nature and adorned with numerous Shiva Lingas, offering a truly calming and spiritually enriching experience.
The temple provides convenient car parking with two options. You can either park at the bottom and enjoy a peaceful walk up the small hill, or take the Vinayaka Missions entrance to drive directly to the top. I highly recommend starting from the bottom, parking your vehicle, and beginning your ascent from the Vinayagar shrine.

Good to know: mornings and late evenings are cooler; afternoons can be hot in the open areas—carry water. Parking is straightforward near the entrance. Dress modestly, and keep small change/UPI handy for archana/prasadam.
Tip: do one slow clockwise round touching each pillar/lingam cluster with your right hand—it turns the visit into a mindful walk.
Secret tip: after the main darshan, stand a few minutes at the far end of the courtyard and look back toward the central shrine—the symmetry of the 1008 lingams lining up to the sanctum is the most serene frame of the temple. 🙏

This is turning out to be the go-to place for open drinking as evidenced by the numerous alcohol bottles and plastic cups strewn around. Dicky- bars are the in thing and it is not safe anymore to go out with women and children.

One of the best view point in yercaud is shevaroyan temple view. U have very ancit temple with cave. After that view point and Thantoori Tea, games, and dont miss the soup near by temple . Which is avilable only in yercaud. Taste like goat leg soup.

It's a pleasant experience visiting this temple on every trip to Yercaud. I usually visit on my last day while returning. You can get nice clicks on the view point to which you can drive up to. If you are with family, no need to walk all the way. Sadly our beloved fellow Indians throw all kinds of garbage in that place from plastics to glass bottles. Something to be cautious about if you are with kids. The temple experience is pleasant and if you are tall at 6ft like me you have to crouch a bit to get in the cave. Nevertheless, it's a great place to visit.

Peaceful and beautiful place to explore sunrise. Moderate trek and must visit caves. Make sure booked via Aranya Vihar before two days if planned to visit otherwise you cannot trek.. during weekdays without booking only opened for locals but travelers need to book prior.

Super place lots of positive vibes and there is also a beautiful trucking spot at the starting point of temple you need to book the tickets a day before u reach there will a guide for the each group. You need to start trucking by yourself at top u get a guide the will guide through out the cave journey must visit once in life time.
Trek distance is of easy level. At 2 or 3 place made difficult to cross under and over rocks which has an alternate step route.
400 booking fees is high for such short distance. Need to book online in advance.
Anthargange (Dakshina Kashi)

I recently visited Antara Gange in Kolar, Karnataka, and it was an unforgettable experience! This sacred hill is home to the ancient Kashi Vishweshwara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and features a stunning pond with a continuous flow of underground water from the mouth of a Nandi (stone bull).

Amazing natural retreat with lush green trees standing high and tall with lots of monkeys and fresh air. There's ample parking space for four wheelers and two wheelers. Easy to reach the location. The route is very scenic on early mornings after a light drizzle alongside when there's dew. Just a bliss to the eyes. A small temple on top of the hill and a call place to sit and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Close by to Bangalore and about half day trip to and fro to retreat and unwind. A must visit for nature lovers.

My visit to Shri Dakshina Kashi Vishwanatha Swamy Temple (Antaragange) was a memorable experience, with refreshing water features, a scenic ascent via steps lined with local food shops.The temple’s sacred pond, continuously fed by an underground spring emerging from a stone bull’s mouth, adds to its unique charm.
Visitors can also explore the nearby caves and enjoy trekking opportunities, making it a perfect blend of spiritual and adventurous experiences.
However, it’s advisable to be cautious of the numerous monkeys in the area and to secure belongings accordingly.

Visited the temple recently, the trek is a completely different part. The temple is uphill from the parking space, you have to climb steps to reach the temple. There are a lot of monkeys on the way eho take away stuff from your hand so be careful. The temple is serene and very peaceful the water from the nandi keeps flowing at a decent rate. It is a forest area and if you want to do the trek to antharagange hill you need to have prior online booking for the same. But yes can definitely just visit the temple spend time and enjoy, as that is accessible to everyone. Definitely worth visiting!

The trekking is easy to moderate. Views are good, you can shout from the top and hear your voice echo.
It is good to take the guides to the caves, which are also splendid. It is advised not to go in monsoon.
Overall this place is nice for a weekend adventure.
This is situated in Kolar, there are no entry fees for temple visit but if you wanted to do trekking then advance online booking you have to do. There is paid parking - For 2 Wheelers 20/- and for 4 wheelers 50/- (there is no time limit for parking and no additional charges). There are Steps while entering the temple and this is on top of the hill. "Be careful of Monkeys". They can snatch your bags or belongings.
Monkeys are all from parking till the top of the hill. They will snatch your Prasadam outside of the temple darshana. You can feed some fruits or biscuits to monkeys but you must have a stick with you to protect your belongings from Monkeys.
There are 2-3 street food stalls near parking. There is water falling all the time in the temple if you want to take that water to your home you have to carry your own empty bottles. Locals are taking that water.
Shoes Stand is there on a hill a few steps before entering the temple. Not at all maintained.
Lord Shiva Temple and Antaragange cave trekking located in a same place. If people want to go for cave trekking they have to book the ticket in advance. Cost of 1 adult tickets comes closer to 490rs(Inc. GST) & kid ticket cost around 290.
Trekking won't be a difficult, there's a 2 caves located, each cave we have to crawl(funny and amazing experience), small caves only hardly it'll take 30 minutes to complete the 2caves together. Best part is trekking will be a fun & adventures, if you're going as family & friends.
A place dedicated to Lord shiva with continuous flow of water from Nandi statue which is believed to originate from Kashi itself. Can have bath or carry that water in bottle with us. Monkeys are everywhere, so travel carefully. They will snatch anything from u. There are many stairs to reach the temple, may be more than 250. Stairs are comfortable to climb with resting places on either side. Temple place is peaceful, got darshana. Took us 45mins to complete our entire visit. Parking is available with 50rs charge for car. There is a gazebo and a government organised trekking zone for antargange caves in this place.
A beautiful place to visit and enjoy with children. The temple is at hill top and the path is having Nice views around. The temple deities Sri Viswanathar and Ammavaru are blessings to see and worshipped. Water is continuously pouring into the pond from hill top. Water falls can be enjoyed in rainy season. Trekking to the hill top caves is also there for enthusiasts. Lots of monkeys. Parking is at the downhill.
Did the temple after the trek. Very peaceful, lots of wild monkeys around that are waiting to pick food from you 😊
