We went to spa in Zinnowitz and discovered this house only 5 km walk away. Was fun fun fun 😁. We took a lot of creative photos inside the house. We spent 1 hour in the house. LoL.. Entrance costs 7 eur.

Do you need to drive very long distance to see it ? No. Small place you can do everything in 5 min.. As experience and as an idea it is nice place to take pictures if you are around.
Moh’d A — Google review
37euro for 2 adults and 3 kids and 10 minutes of haha look I am upside down. Basically no value for the money.
Paul — Google review
Something funny and different but won't take you very long to walk through it.

It's very nice and I think it's very hard to build a house like this but it's very very expensive. We payed 27€ and had 3min fun :( don't visit the house.
Milschisch — Google review
Waste of money and kind of gimmicky. Very expensive.. 8.90 € for one person for something which is over in 5 mins (max).
Bhuvnaesh K — Google review
It is quite interesting and funny but it could be way more detailed. However 7€ is not that cheap as well.

Simple basic fun. Good place to briefly visit for a couple of silly photos.

Some of holes were not aligned but it added to the difficulties of the game which was good as well. What I like the about this mini golf area, it has carpet on it made us feel playing on a grass unlike with other with just plain cement.

(Translated by Google) We were on vacation in Heringsdorf. We wanted to do something different and found the Pirates of the Baltic Sea mini golf course. We were pleasantly surprised by what you can do with mini golf. It was something completely different; there were challenges on two or three holes, and it was completely different from regular mini golf. If you're in the area, you should go, whether with children or as an adult, and play 18 holes. I highly recommend it. Afterward, you can enjoy a nice drink or a snack after playing.

(Translated by Google) Anyone who wants to play mini golf on Usedom should stop by here. It's very well maintained. The staff are very nice and friendly. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The courses are very unique and very unusual. It's a shame that it was very warm there, so we only managed 16 holes. But we were able to enjoy a delicious meal in the shelter and were protected from the sun. We'd love to come back. (Original) Wer auf Usedom Minigolf spielen möchte, sollte hier vorbeischauen. We only stayed for a short time, because the very few "interesting" attractions became boring after an hour or so. The only attractions that are fun for 5-6 year old are the carousel and the slide. I find the entry price for adults too high and unjustified, after all we can only sit around. Most of the attractions are in a questionable state and pose a safety hazard. For many things you still have to pay 1-2 euros extra. Most employees are bored, always smoking and wear dirty street clothes. The employees don't even have a common outfit. Anyone with dirty clothes and a cigarette in the hand can easily pose as an employee here. If you have young children (4-6 years old) and they really want on the carousel then this park might be for you otherwise spend the money somewhere else.

(Translated by Google) A very nice, but outdated play area for small children. We were there at the beginning of October around 4 p.m., along with a few other visitors. The children could run around and ride the carousel as often as they wanted, all for 9 euros per child and 5 euros per adult. There was a well-stocked snack bar with reasonable prices. We were pleasantly surprised.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately we found the children's area a bit sad for the price. The “carousels” were all getting old. In addition, all but two of them were manually operated. So you had to take a turn or pedal yourself. The park itself was pretty manageable which doesn't really justify the price.

Nice attraction, price is acceptable. Meaning it's kind of pricey for 2 adults 3 kids at 40 Euro for about 90 minutes having to entertain the kids to find fun stuff. However as an adult I respect how they try and make the most of the space compared to equaly or more expensive attractions around. It's certainly educational and well maintained. For awareness indoor is tropical, very humid and warm air.
Paul — Google review
Rating: ★★☆☆☆ The place was great, and the area was large, but I’m giving only two stars because of the poor parrots. They deserve better conditions, especially considering the expensive ticket prices. Their cages were so small… I really hope they get some of the benefits too.
Michael M — Google review
Wonderful indoor butterfly pavilion, excellent for families. Note that the climate is controlled to ensure a typical climate for the butterflies. Leave your coats and sweaters at the door, and be sure to use the bathroom before visiting because the bathrooms are at the very end of the one-way winding exhibits. There are also displays on lizards, beetles and other bugs, spiders, crystals, and other natural materials. The exhibits are not particularly scientific and could be improved with better direction. For example, the kitschy plastic animals could be replaced with informative models of butterflies or caterpillars.
Richard B — Google review
Although I only went to find out what insect eggs were on my Maple leaf there was nobody there to answer my question. However the staff were very helpful and I bought a book from their gift shop. They had many interesting things for sale including antiques.
A C — Google review
Very large and comfortable butterfly farm. Unfortunately high temperatures and humidoty don't work well together with protection masks.
Diana “ — Google review
Never seen anything like this. Thousands of butterflies flying around you.
Sergei S — Google review
The pricing of this place is totally out of proportion. I understand that creating an environment for the butterflies and maintain it costs money but seriously the price is not even mentioned on the web page. The commodities there are really outdated and old. Still it is a cool experience to see the butterflies in action. There is a variety of other insects and spiders as well. I would just noch recommend it due to the old facilities and the pricing.
Steve B — Google review
I was very satisfied that I visited this place and to me it was worth the price (for a person a bit interested in butterflies and a photography lover). Butterflies were stunning! Twice a huge butterfly, I guess Morpho peleides sat on me. My only remark is that it would be great if the farm had more species - one species definitely prevails.

The former residence and workshop of Otto Niemeyer-Holstein is now a museum showcasing an intriguing exhibit about the life of this artist with a fascinating background. The display offers visitors an interesting glimpse into the world of art, while at the same time providing insight into the artist's personal journey. Additionally, there is a mesmerizing film being shown that captures one's imagination. Outside, visitors can stroll through stunning gardens adorned with remarkable sculptures that are equally captivating to behold.

(Translated by Google) What kind of strategy is this to discourage visitors? These prices (€13.50 + €11 for the required guided tour... per person!) are outrageous. Visitors have to ring the bell; outrageous. It was different years ago, cheaper and less complicated. By the way, there are countries where museums are free. Okay, the government needs money for so many other things. No thanks! We were particularly impressed by the uniquely designed garden, which reveals an unusual and very personal side of the artist. The loving details and the special atmosphere make this place truly unique. During the tour, you can easily immerse yourself in the artist's era and feel almost intimately connected to him. For children, there's a charmingly designed scavenger hunt with quizzes that turns the museum visit into a little adventure. The highlight was the reward at the end: a particularly elegant pencil, which was received with great joy. Thank you so much – we will treasure this pencil. A thoroughly worthwhile visit that we highly recommend! (Translated by Google) I visited this museum years ago and was surprised by the high entrance fee today. Since this isn't a state museum, they probably charge differently, so to speak. Visitors won't find a large exhibition! I'd already taken a guided tour before, which was very interesting. I hadn't seen the film yet and was expecting a biography of his life. The film, with the old ONH's explanations of his working life, was long-winded and uninteresting to me.
Heidi C — Google review
(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is completely out of this world. For €13.50 per adult, you only get to see a few paintings and the garden with its sculptures. A guided tour of the house would have cost an additional €11 per adult. The entrance is through a locked garden gate: You have to ring the bell until a buzzer opens the door. When we wanted to leave, the procedure was similar: You have to ring the bell again, but it felt like it took five minutes for the buzzer to ring. What a shame! Schade!
Eckehard S — Google review
(Translated by Google) I can recommend this place to people interested in paintings and background information. Photography is not permitted in the house or the studio, nor is it permitted to view the paintings. Not necessarily recommended for children. The price-performance ratio isn't particularly good. You can swim laps in peace. It's actually two pools connected by corridors. Everything is signposted and easy to reach. Everything is clean, there are really large changing rooms, and clean restrooms and showers everywhere. Two lifeguards were visibly present at all times. Paying at the machine was easy. I loved the outdoor area. My daughter loved the bouldering wall and the slide. (Original) Die Therme ist toll. Ich kann die Kritiken überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Das Bad ist sehr groß. Quite a disappointing experience based on what you would expect to see once you’re below the surface. You see absolutely nothing. The crew are very friendly, humorous and well informed, so they do their best and the talk is quite informative. It’s followed by a rather low-quality 3D movie (short underwater documentary) which felt out of place. The whole experience would be exactly the same if it was in a small room somewhere on the beach rather than in a water-tight room under water. Overall quite an underwhelming experience.
Saurabh M — Google review
The dive capsule brings you under the water and as it's sinking, a guide tells you about the marine life and the interesting facts about the Baltic Sea. A short 3-D film shows the living creatures under the sea. Altogether, the show lasts about 30 minutes. The entrance fee was €8.50 per adult.
Aggie V — Google review
It was great for my little boy to be in a „submarine“. There is no age restriction. The guys operating the gondola are very dedicated and funny, however, once you are under water you see......nothing. Visual range is about 50cm and if you are lucky you may see some small fish or jelly fish.
Peter — Google review
A good idea but for some reason they made it pointless. The gondola lowered into the water and we saw a jellyfish and some fish. Then for some reason they blocked the windows up and made us watch a boring film about what lives in the water. The water that was right there on the other side of the blocked up windows. After the film the gondola rises again. There is almost no opportunity to actually see out of the window beneath the surface.
Jay C — Google review
Closed because of a technical problem. We drove 600km for it. I wonder why they don’t put a notice on their website. There were a lot of people full of disappointment.
Myung K — Google review
Visiting the diving gondola has been very disappointing. The advertising material is misleading, as it pretends that you can see sea life. However all you can see is green water and no sea life at all. Of course, you will learn about that once you can't leave the gondola any longer. All in all.... very disappointing!

Vilm is a protected natural Baltic island with a 1.5-mile stretch of ancient forest and restricted access, making it an exclusive destination for nature enthusiasts. (Translated by Google) Vilm Island – A Quiet Natural Gem with History and Soul A trip to Vilm Island is a very special experience – full of tranquility, beauty, and a fascinating history. The approximately 10-minute crossing from the port in Lauterbach is quick, but the effect is lasting: you enter a place that seems to have stepped out of time. Important: Book in advance, as access to the island is strictly restricted – and rightly so. The nature here is impressively untouched, powerful, and full of diversity. The approximately 3 km circular walk takes about 2.5 hours – and every minute is fulfilling. Primeval forests, ancient giant trees, magnificent views of the coast, and rare plants make the walk a true nature experience. We would especially like to highlight our guide, Heide: With calmness, humor, patience, and a wealth of expertise, she led us through the history and special features of the island. She answered every question and truly enriched the trip with her warm manner. Conclusion: If you're looking for a true nature experience, far from the hustle and bustle, the island of Vilm is highly recommended. A place to pause and marvel—and a big thank you to Heide for this wonderful tour!

Reservations can only be made by email but it works very well. Great tour with the corresponding stories. (Translated by Google) A very small but excellent exhibition! Prices were absolutely reasonable, and you could immediately tell that the members knew their stuff. I could have chatted with the club president for hours; he was a very friendly man. He knew exactly where and how I could find and best reach the old engine shed of the "Klein Stubben Chalk Railway." It was just a shame he had to go back to the ticket counter; we could have talked shop for hours! The layouts are nice, but what I liked best were the exhibits related to the history of the RüKB (Rügen Railway). These include the layout with a ferry depicting the old northern line and a diorama of Göhren station with "ROCO" RüKB carriages. The locomotive plates of the Vulcan D-type double-coupler 99 4631-33 on the wall are also very interesting, especially because they also show photos from the "old" days. Basically, photos of railway operations during the GDR era and even before.

The minigolf itself is quite fun but nothing too special. Dogs are allowed which is a plus for us. It was way too crowded to the point we were waiting more than 80% of the time which killed a lot of the fun. At one point people were even leaving because of it. We also left after still not having finished all 18 courses after 3 hours.

(Translated by Google) We were here with the whole family in May. We can say that the beautiful location by the sea and the fact that the course is divided into two parts are positive. Furthermore, the course is generally beautifully designed and very inviting to play. On the negative side, however, we unfortunately have to say that the course is not very playable. We are a very enthusiastic and experienced mini golf family with a lot of experience, but even for us adults, it was almost impossible to complete some of the courses in less than 10 strokes. For example, there are hardly any side barriers, so balls constantly leave the course. This quickly becomes frustrating. The staff were friendly, but very slow. Let's ignore the fact that you can't pay by card and there is no cash register.

Karls Erlebnis-Dorf - Zirkow is a delightful family park offering a wide range of activities for children, including food stalls, farm animals, and various games. The park is known for its strawberry products such as cakes, wine, beer, cookies, soaps, jams made from fresh strawberries and more. Visitors praise the quality of the products and excellent service. Many recommend visiting this place with kids to enjoy the atmosphere and delicious strawberry cake.
How to describe Karls, it's a strawberry farm with places for kids to play, a grocery store with everything strawberry, when I say everything strawberry I mean anything and everything strawberry. They have a restaurant that serves good German food and an outdoor shop for hamburgers and bratwurst at a good price. Friendly service, great for families. We have heard that Karls is coming to America, we'll see.

We love this park and the strawberry 🍓 theme. We have fun every time we go here. This time there was also the corn cob maze, very funny! New was also a free carousel that was activated thanks to the second person pedaling the bike near (amazing). For a family it's convenient for many reasons: Free car parking; Free entry for the family; Lots of free activities for children with the possibility to choose your own budget for the day; Different activities for the youngest children up to the older ones; Interesting laboratory and shows of how to prepare the various products inside the shops. There are also restaurants on site with an attractive presentation and taste of the food.

I love this place, the strawberries are incredible and the place makes for a great trip. I definitely recommend as we keep ending up going back for more! Update 2024 We still come here everytime we visit Germany and I still would consider it my favourite place on earth! No matter the time of year it always looks stunning, I've been in the summer, seen the Halloween decorations and this year seen the Christmas/new year decorations. The foods always good, the coffees amazing! If you come to Germany visit Karl's they are everywhere and always amazing 😍

The strawberry cake was awesome. I ate at many bakeries, which can't match here. I loved it very much. Will visit frequently especially for the cake. Hope you'll love this Karls Erbeerhof.

Granitz Hunting Castle

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Granitz Hunting Castle, located in the resort town of Binz, Rugen, is a 19th-century museum with five crenellated towers and grand rooms. The castle offers a luxurious setting for hunting enthusiasts with its incredible collection of animal skulls, antlers, and stuffed stag. It also features a 144m-high viewing platform and a cast-iron spiral staircase with 154 steps.
Unfortunately, the day was foggy, and we couldn’t see anything from the tower. However, everything else was great, and of course, it’s not their fault for the weather. I’d recommend others to visit on a sunny day to get the full experience. We drove up by car, but the route is also beautiful for hiking.
Magdalena S — Google review
This was super cool. Enjoyed climbing the tower which wasn’t as tiring as I thought it would be. A lot to look at and take in. I enjoyed the hike up from the parking lot (about 2km).
Ava F — Google review
Nice Castle, well kept, very friendly and accommodating staff. Not a lot to see but what is there is set up and explained very well and entry fee is very reasonable. The highlight is the metal staircase leading to the view point above, think it’s 154 spiralling see through steps, maybe not for those with fear of heights.
Paul F — Google review
The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the stunning spiral staircase that winds its way up the tower. The panoramic views from the top were breathtaking and made every step worth it. The peaceful surroundings and scenic walks around the grounds added to the charm of the visit. Overall, the Granitz Hunting Lodge is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Rügen Island.
Emiliano L — Google review
interesting place! if you choose to park at the hiking trail parking you get a nice short hike of 25-30 minutes through the farmhouse and deciduous forest up to the hunting lodge,
Jonas A — Google review
It takes a little hike to get the lodge, but it's really worth it. During the hike through the beautiful woods, you come across animals and a steam train. The castle is beautiful, and the inside is very well preserved. With big chandeliers, hunting trophies, and paintings of the royals who lived there. You can also get to the top of the tower by walking an iron staircase. Once you reach the top, you're welcomed by a beautiful view. The only thing I missed was information in English, so bring your German friend or Google translate.
Laurien S — Google review
I love this castle. Great interactive explanations for children. A lot of interactive features, for example the animation of the travel journal that makes you feel like you’re traveling to Egypt as well. The architecture is exquisite but sadly the hunting trophies 🏆 were stolen.

Reading some of the 1 star reviews of this place and I can understand their opinions. Could this place do with a bit of TLC? Sure. Is this food in the 'restaurant' terrible? Most definitely. But I'm in my 40s, and all I cared about was my kids having a good time, and they *LOVED* it. We arrived at 11:00 and stayed until the 17:00 closing. When we arrived my first thought was 'yeah, this is two hours max'. But the kids didn't get bored for a second. The rides certainly feel a bit retro, but there are no queues (Google said it was at its busiest when we were there), so they could just do the things they loved over and over. The entrance fee is reasonable, and once you're in, the vast majority of the stuff is included in the entry price. Maybe take some change if you want ice cream. And take a packed lunch instead of the awful restaurant food. I wouldn't go with kids under 7 as most stuff is for 7+, but other than that I'd definitely recommend it for a fun day with your kids.

We didn't think it would be such a breathtaking place. We were coming from a not so spectacular Glowe and Jasmund park trip and completely bowled over by this scenic post card beauty of a place. Stayed there for 15 precious minutes... I think one of the best clean well kept beaches/beach-location in Baltic coast. Absolutely charming and worth spending half a day at a minimum...

We've came to Sellin especially from Lohme to see the city, make underwater trip on Tauchgondole and stay for lunch. Unfortunatelly, we couldn't go out from the car, because entire city is blocked for free parking and all parkings and streets with allowed parking - are equiped with an old-style parking machines which accept only cash coins. In entire so-called 'tourist city' it's impossible to pay for a parking with credit card. So yes, we lost probably nice on-land and underwater view, but local business lost quite some money that four people were ready to spend there. Looks like non-German tourists are generally not welcomed anywhere, at least in former DDR we're visiting this time...

Notable street
Seebrücke in Sellin, Rugen is a breathtaking and picturesque spot that captivates visitors with its scenic beauty. It's considered one of the best-maintained beach locations on the Baltic coast, offering a charming and clean environment for relaxation. The area boasts beautiful buildings and a newly constructed wooden swing, adding to its allure as an amazing vacation spot. Accessible via public transport, it's recommended to spend at least half a day here to fully appreciate its beauty.
This place is super beautiful and not far from public transport. They have also made a new wooden swing which is purely beautiful. An amazing vacation spot

Very beautiful, a must see if you are on Rügen. Also Sellin is beautifully restored and nice to walk around. The whole family like the trip we made

Tauchgondel Sellin, located at the head of the Sellin pier, is a must-visit attraction offering a futuristic diving experience into the depths of the Baltic Sea. Descending up to four meters below the surface, this unique gondola provides an unparalleled view of Rugen's underwater world. Suspended one meter above the seabed, visitors can gain insightful knowledge about the Baltic Sea's ecosystem during their dive.
No need to book before, go to queue there. Starting from 10 am. Each tound takes 45 mins.
Monmon T — Google review
Very nice pier and beach. Did not dive in the gondel because we had no time before our ferry leaved.
Tim A — Google review
Definitely disappointing! You can't see anything under the water behind the windows! The correct name of this attraction is: "Projection of a 3D film under the sea level" - it is nothing else. But the movie is nice.
Lpes G — Google review
Very disappointing and not worth the money. They take you 4-5 meters below water where you see nothing but green water and a few jelly fish. Honestly , you can watch them for free near the beach. Then midway under water, they draw the blinds over the glass window. and make you watch a boring presentation in dark in German! Doesn't make sense to pay 12€, go under water, and see nothing but a presentation!
Poorva L — Google review
Very interesting place, you can into water with glass ball. Every hour only 2 times , max 25 people . And from 11:00-19:00. In this month is not good season, because you can’t see anything.
Neil C — Google review
Really bad attitude by them, me and my girlfriend was asking them for what's inside to see, they didn't reply properly and was all over us saying please be on line, we didn't like their attitude or rudeness. You can be gentle and polite to your customers and you should explain them not show attitude
Vatsal D — Google review
Disapointing experience, only green water to see. Movie was old and hard to see for me wearing glasses. We can understand som german so managed to understand most of it but staff does not speak one word English. Would not do it again
Dineke W — Google review
We go beneath the surface of the water and see ..... nothing but green water. There is some information from the personal and a 3D film about life under the Baltic but you could do that on the surface and for less than €9.

Dinosaur Land

Amusement park
Museums
Dinosaur Land is a Jurassic-themed park featuring dinosaur casts, fossil-hunting areas, playgrounds, a maze, and archery. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautifully landscaped park with some animated and sound-producing dinosaurs along the way. The park offers various play areas for children of different ages and has an on-site bistro with reasonable prices. Guests can spend almost half a day exploring the dinosaur figures and searching for fossils while enjoying the realistic surroundings.
My kid, recently 4, had an amazing time. He ran from dinosaur to dinosaur and was screaming with excitement. There are ample playgrounds dotted throughout the park with plenty of places to sit. Lots of other activities to entertain kids as well. Would definitely recommend as an alternative to the beach for a couple of hours.
Patricia M — Google review
Surprise. Very nice dino park in a nice environment. Admission is a bit expensive, but it's worth a visit. Absolutely perfect for kids or families.
Adam P — Google review
I liked it very much. A lot to learn and it's really funny how the dinosaurs move. The target audience is children, but there's enjoyment for adults, too. The walk is easy and the park itself is beautiful.
Martin S — Google review
Nice place with a lot of dinosaur ´s figures. You can spent here almost half a day, either looking for dinosaurs or trying to find fossils. Food is more like fast food, but when the children are hungry it is eatable. What is the most interesting is the place chosen for this park. It makes perfect surroundings for the animals which sometimes look very realistic. The sortiment in souvenier shop is mostly poor, but (unfortunately) children likes it. We did not expect much, but we were kindly surprised.
Kristýna M — Google review

The space of the complex was very clean and attractive, and it is a fun and a place to visit not only for children but also for adults, but unfortunately, the paths leading to such a large complex are marked with very few signs and it will not be easy to find the way, especially If you go there by bus. There are only two small signs at the exit from the road to this Din Land, and unfortunately there is no bus stop near it from the Saznitz side.

The Königsstuhl National Park Centre is a modern building that offers interactive displays and visitor information about the chalk cliffs. Despite being the smallest national park in Germany, Jasmund boasts stunning natural beauty, including dense beech forests with rare plant and bird species. The main attraction is the spectacular white-chalk cliffs, particularly the 118m high Königsstuhl (Kings Chair). Visitors can enjoy a short video showcasing Jasmund's breathtaking scenery.
It was a small park but the most interesting part was Sky Walk. Loved the views.

Wow what a beautiful place & must-visit a) the views are just spectacular, world-class and b) the Centre has an amazing nature educational exhibition (one of the best we ever saw. We took nearly 2 hrs but you can rush through in 30/45 min - incl. a children tour too) so thoughtful, interactive and a touching film to view (all included in the price). Also the food is quite good at reasonable prices (with vegan & veggie food option). Plenty to do for children. We spent overall 6 hours without noticing there. Highly recommended. Grateful for beautiful places like that that also raise environmental awareness. PS: from the car park in Hagen you can also stroll 1 hour through the famous, nature protected beech forests (there are also shuttle buses), the path is quite clear.

I bought the evening ticket for €6 and it was absolutely worth it! The walkway was beautiful and truly atmospheric, the view was stunning, and the film was fascinating and very well done. On top of that, the lady at the ticket counter was extremely kind, professional, and welcoming, she really made the experience even better

It’s just a trap for tourists , 12 euro is not worthy here. Better to walk or hike throughout the forest trust me you will find the better scenario and feel refreshing

It’s a great place for nature lovers and to know more about the local ecosystem and how it was formed. There is also a viewing platform where we can take some great pictures. Overall good way to spend time when in this area.

Mixed feelings about this place. Obviously, the nature around the park center is stunning. They really put an effort into providing information about the history, flora and fauna of the place. Expensive given you pay 12€ just for this though. It’s disappointing though that the variety of vegan food offered here equals 0 (unless you count an oven baked potato without any sauce as an option). The french fries are prepared in the same oil as the chicken nuggets. Interesting to read that nothing has changed since two years ago when another user had posted a review about this. I would expect more from a place that promotes nature and sustainability. My family tried the non-vegan options. They were average at most. Side note: Dogs must be on a leash and wear a muzzle on the shuttle bus to get here since about one year ago… great way to make money selling them for 8.99€ at the parking.

Wonderful view from the skydeck. We visited on a very windy day! 12 euros entry was a bit pricey, although we didn't visit the exhibition inside, so it is hard to say if it was worth it. The walking tracks nearby are free. From there, you have an equally good view. Arrival and return by bus from Sassnitz was very easy (Having the 49 euro Deutschland ticket makes it a whole lot easier, too!)

Fantastic walk through the phenomenal enchanting forest. Skipped paying €12 for the actual viewing platform of Konigsstuhl and walked another 800m to Victoria-Sicht viewpoint. Absolutely breathtaking. Only paid €5 for parking.

I went there to hike to the Victoria-Sicht, a little bit south of the Königsstuhl, where there are amazing views. I parked at the Grossparkplatz Hagen. From the Grossparkplatz you can hike to the entrance to the Sky Walk (pay there for a ticket to enter) and also to the Victoria-Sicht (no extra cost). There are also other trails through the woods; I used the Footpath app to navigate but there are also many signs along the main hiking trails. In case you forgot to bring a snack, there’s food available at the Grossparkplatz, and there are pay-toilets there and just outside the entrance to the Sky Walk area.

My husband and I drove to the parking lot and joined the bus to the Königstuhl. We went there in August and it was quite crowded but it was worthwhile. Cape Arkona is a picturesque promontory featuring two lighthouses, a bunker, and stunning 45-meter-high cliffs. Situated near Jasmund National Park, this protected area includes a charming fisherman's village where visitors can savor fresh fish sandwiches along the rocky shore. The site offers breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding villages, making it an ideal destination for leisurely walks and exploration.
Beautiful view!! I also climbed the lighthouse and the sea can be seen in all its splendor!! The ascent is done on foot or optionally by train or horse-drawn cart.

They say this is on the top of the list you must see in Rugen island. I wouldn't recomend the same. Esppecially when you're short in time. Nature around is beautiful no doubt. But you can't see much of it because of really dense and high bushes and trees which is only lovely when the sun is really hot. Otherwice it's not a lovely walk since you can see nothing through them. Wavy fields around makes an impression. You can find them anywhere in Germany and you don't have to go here. Three lighthouses in one place you don't find often. You can't beat this if you're lighthouse fan, but if you're not you'd say I've seen more impressive ones. The view to the rocky shore is only nice when you climb to the top of of two lighthouses which are not too tall. Otherwice you can see only bushes and a dusty path ;) Small fisherman tawn Vitt is lovely. It's approx. 1.5 km from the lighthouses. But also if you're short in time you'll find a lot of old houses with straw roofs aroud the whole Rugen. Sure if you have plenty of time you can take long walks down the rocks on the sea shore, but the climbs won't be easy. If I had to choose one of two most desirable places must see in Rugen I would definetly go for Jasmund national park. It's my personal opinion. Have a great time in Rugen!

In general this is a tourist scam trap. You have to park your car on a 7 eur flat fee parking area and walk among restaurants, souvenir shops. The lighthouses are average at best. From the viewpoints you can see often nothing. Go anywhere else and see the sea there. One of the most underwhelming places I have seen in a long time.
Petr C — Google review
We easily parked our car and walked up to the lighthouses (four of them) and then explored the trails at the to of the cliffs. It's a well taken care of wonderful place. By the way, if getting married in a lighthouse is a bucket-list item for you than this is the place to do just that!!!
Stan S — Google review
It is amazingly beautiful! Very calm and a nice area to take a walk with the hole family. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the prices! It is pretty expensive to visit the lighthouses and of course to use the bathroom! We had to pay 4 euros for parking the car and almost 6 euros for using the facilities!

Jaromarsburg is a fascinating site, featuring the ruins of a Slavic temple castle from the 9th century. Coastal erosion has made it visible only from the outside. Although climbing each tower and exploring the rural Putgarten area were missed by some visitors, it's still considered a must-see when on Rugen due to its historical significance and beautiful landscape. Despite being closed and abandoned, it remains a magical place that sparks curiosity about its history and purpose.
