Lietuvos etnografijos muziejus

Museum
History Museums
Open-air museum showcasing local customs & culture, with folk performances & hands-on workshops.
Lithuanian Ethnographic Museum (Lietuvos Etnografijos Muziejus) – an absolute gem for anyone who loves culture, history, and immersive travel! 🌾🇱🇹 This place is a solid 10/10 – no exaggeration. You can easily spend the whole day here (or even longer), wandering across a vast area filled with traditional wooden houses, windmills, barns, and workshops from different regions of Lithuania. Everything is arranged with incredible attention to detail, and the interiors feel like they’re frozen in time – some even dating back 300 years. What makes this museum special is that you don’t just look – you interact. You can step inside the buildings, touch the tools, see how everyday objects like flour or pottery were made in the past. It’s one of the most hands-on, open-air museums I’ve ever visited – perfect for families, history buffs, photographers, or anyone who wants to feel like they’ve stepped into a Witcher-style world. There are also taverns and food stalls on-site where you can taste authentic Lithuanian cuisine – highly recommend the cepelinai (potato dumplings filled with meat and topped with crispy bacon) and craft kvass (“GIRA” – an easy 10/10!). The entire museum is laid out like a miniature version of Lithuania, with different ethnographic regions represented – so it feels like a cultural road trip within one location. It’s clean, well-maintained, and incredibly atmospheric. The vibe is seminarium to the "witcher"

We visited this place on 26th January, on the last Sunday of the month so we did not pay the entrance ticket. The area is very big and they also turn on the lights of attractions when the sun sets. You can easily spend the entire day here. My suggestion is to come here when winter ends since all the houses were closed and there were no animals. Also, there was only one cafe open, Arbatine. We had a very nice day in the nature, and we will surely come back on summer, when the place can offer the most. PS: The right address is L. Lekavičiaus gatvė 2 Rumšiškės and not 2 J. Aisčio gatvė, where there is only the administration office.

A great place to visit! Very well organized, with a large area perfect for walking – you can easily spend the whole day here. In the town section some points are open where you can buy things, so it’s good to bring some cash. There’s a post office, a craftsman demonstrating traditional work, a restaurant (cards accepted), and a shop with local products like honey. Highly recommended!
I M — Google review
What a wonderful place! Don’t think of it as a museum, but as a beautiful, enormous, gorgeous natural park. It’s wonderful! So much nature, it’s breathtaking. It was free today (Sunday) and we only payed 2 euros for parking (license plate scanning). There are toilets at the entrance. The souvenir shop was closed as it was Sunday, I suppose, and I couldn’t see anywhere to eat, so maybe bring some snacks and water. You can also get to the observation tower. We wished we had more time here, you can spend hours exploring and enjoying nature!
André M — Google review
We visit d after the close for the season day, so were not able to enter any of the houses. Still beautiful walk, and we spent almost 2 hours just walking around and enjoying beautiful landscape.

During dar season there are beutiful light instalations. This year it was called "Užburtasis slėnis". Really beautifull atmosphere

We are here last day of our Lietuva trip. This was our best place to visit. Forgot Trakai go here price is the same you see more! You can spend whole day here. Walking see and RELAX. Every house is polished with fine garden. You can rest and get a cafe too. We start at 14 and leave at 19 and see less than half. I suggest get a picnic set and go there from morning.
Vladimír P — Google review
This is super interesting to check out. Bring a lot of time and pick a dry day. There is a lot of walking required for this, but it is worth it. There are buildings from all over Lithuania, most of them can be walked though fully equipped with furniture and all in very good shape. I liked the town center the most, there were some things to do. The viewing tower might need an update some time soon.

9th Fort of the Kaunas Fortress

Mentioned on

Museum
Sights & Landmarks
The 9th Fort of the Kaunas Fortress, originally built by the Russian Tsar in the 1800s, has a haunting history as a Nazi execution site during World War II. It now stands as a museum and memorial to the 50,000 Lithuanians and Jews who lost their lives there. The massive monument erected on the site serves as a solemn reminder of this tragic past.
Definitely worth a visit. Monemument and information regarding mass killings is sobering but presented respectfully. Information inside the exhibit is thorough and well worth while spending the time to read. Available in both Lithuanian and English.
Lorcan S — Google review
We took a bus from Kaunas Centre here it was €1 and took about 30 minutes. As you arive there is a coffee machine at the carpark (there is no cafe or shop to get food here) it is a short pavedcwalk up to the main museum €8 Euros to go in to the Museum was well work it. There is so much to see inside. Well thought out displays and installations. Was history and so.e very thought provoking displays. Everything is displayed in Lithuanian and English. You can walk around the outside area for free. 100% recommended this for a visit 2-3 hrs would do it justice to see Everything!
Beverley B — Google review
Beautiful place marked by history. The fort has a very interesting museum and the exterior, including the monument, is a sacred place. I recommend going in the spring season to see all the vegetation in bloom, seemingly in contrast with the history written here.
Cristiano I — Google review
If you want to understand something of the history of the region in the 20th century, this fortress gives a good overview. I had no idea that the Lithuanians continued to resist the Soviet occupation well into the 1950s. If you go by bus, remember to press the stop button before you reach the stop. I didn't and ended up a mile or two in the wrong direction.
P B — Google review
Beautiful place with a sad history. Good for a visit if you love history and its a nice walk. There is stuff in England for does who dont speak lithuanian. Staff a very friendly and helpful. Would visit again.

Kaunas Castle

Mentioned on
+89 other lists
Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Kaunas Castle is a medieval fortress that offers art and historical exhibitions, cultural events, and guided tours. The castle hosts outdoor exhibitions of various works by international artists and showcases photography galleries. Visitors can also take walking city tours to explore the center and Old Town of Kaunas, including historical and architectural monuments like St. George's Church, the Theological seminary courtyard, Town Hall Square, baroque churches, and more.
It’s worthy to see this castle - after all, it is a symbol of the city! Inside there is a museum - price is low (for student 2€), but exhibits are not interesting. There is a view of the city from there - the free one is better, but remember that in Kaunas you can find better places for this, for example the Alexota funicular.
Alicja W — Google review
Kaunas Castle is a wonderful place for a walk. In the evening it’s beautifully lit, which makes the atmosphere really charming. The whole area felt very safe, and I also noticed there are surveillance cameras nearby, which adds to the feeling of security. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Kaunas!
Mihály J — Google review
A historic castle very nicely preserved, clean and surrounded by green areas and walking trails around it. Minutes away from the old town of Kaunas. Worth visiting!
Mark B — Google review
Kaunas Castle is a beautiful and historic spot right in the heart of the city. The red-brick fortress looks amazing, and the museum inside gives a nice glimpse into Kaunas’ past. The area around it is great for a walk, with lovely river views and a calm atmosphere. Staff are friendly, and there are often cool events or festivals happening nearby. Definitely worth a visit!
Jack F — Google review
A very nice castle, but quite small once you get inside and with status you need to be careful as they are quite steep and you will need to wait for people or to go upstairs or downstairs as you can do both at the same time as it’s quite narrow. Worth a visit tho. The prices for tickets is ok too £4 for adult, but for students, kids, retired and disabled people gets it’s cheaper or does not pay at all which is nice.
Indy R — Google review
Nice little exposition, well restored old castle, loved the dungeon prison part, great view from top level of the tower.Small but interesting museum, stairs at the tower are steep and narrow but there is another wider exilt on level two.Would recommend to spend couple hours exploring castle and surrounding old wall grounds.
Waffenman67 — Google review
Nice park to walk around. You can walk up to have a view. Castle itself has few remains, so not that much to visit. Has a museum indoor in the tower (paid entrance)

Kaunas Town Hall, a stately 16th-century building located in the heart of the old town, is currently undergoing renovation. Despite this, visitors can still enjoy exploring the historic center and its landmarks. The surrounding area offers attractions such as Confluence Park (Santakos parkas), Kaunas Castle, and various museums. The charming cobbled streets are lined with cafes, restaurants, and bars to discover. The old town also features small local museums and churches to explore.
Very interesting museum, including whole history of Kaunas, from middle ages, through Communism to twenty first century. Highly recommended for all tourists visiting Kaunas :3

Kaunas Town Hall is a must-visit if you’re exploring Lithuania’s second-largest city! Known as the “White Swan” for its elegant architecture, this historic building sits in the heart of Kaunas Old Town. It has served many purposes over the centuries—city hall, prison, and even a wedding venue! Today, it houses the Kaunas City Museum, where you can learn about the city’s rich history. Take a stroll around the charming square, grab a coffee at a nearby café, and soak in the atmosphere of this beautiful and lively spot!

Close on Monday and overseeing a torn-up square (large renovation works ongoing August 2025). Not worth the effort

Most visited places in Kaunas , old town bars , cafes and restaurants, you can also find here museums art shops and other interesting sites
Romuald C — Google review
The Kaunas Town Hall is a beautiful and impressive building – a real highlight in the heart of the Old Town. The architecture is elegant, and the surrounding square is full of charm and history. It’s a great spot for photos and a nice place to sit and take in the atmosphere. Unfortunately, during our visit, the building was under renovation, so we couldn’t fully enjoy or explore it. It’s understandable that maintenance is necessary, but it was a bit disappointing not to see it in its full glory. Still, it’s a lovely landmark and definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Kaunas – hopefully next time without scaffolding!

(Translated by Google) the zoo is just awful, all the animals sit in their little cubicles, don't come out into the light. no one to look at!!!!!! in all the cages there are only pigeons and sparrows, and who needs these roosters that everyone has at their dacha!! those on the outside look sickly bad 😬😬😬 the terrarium is only open until 15:00!!!!!!!! and the bridge.. my favorite ... they broke it and closed it 😔 very dirty, unsanitary conditions everywhere........ I won't even mention the price!!!! 13 rubles, well, that's incomprehensible!!!!!1!!........ the woman at the checkout was completely impudent, tried to rip me off for 10 rubles in change..... and didn't even apologize... I don't recommend it to anyone, it's better to just look at pictures on Google... definitely won't set foot here again....😣 (Original)

(Translated by Google) Such a wonderful, beautiful city, but the Zoo did not live up to our expectations. Terrible conditions for animals. Small cages, only a floor and a couple of branches. No trees inside, no normal locations. The fence and everything else is from the Soviet Union, they could have redone it. We were in the animal park in Baranovichi, Minsk, everything is very beautiful there, at a height, and here we wasted our money. It was a pity for the animals, it's hot, and they have nowhere to hide from the sun, they lie on the sand and die ((( (Original)

(Translated by Google) The bird exhibit was decent, since most bird species are usually kept as pets. The mammal exhibit, especially the large predators, was extremely depressing. The bears and monkeys were pacing back and forth in a state of zoochosis. The bear enclosures were all concrete and stone, no greenery, just a dirty pond where they could cool off. The ungulates were also kept in small enclosures, with virtually no greenery. The toucan was either sick or very stressed, and was going bald. This zoo was the first place where I felt sorry for the hyena. I am not a fan of zoos in general, but the enclosures could have been made bigger, so that they would have been more interesting and natural for their inhabitants.

(Translated by Google) We were on holiday in Grodno and decided to visit the zoo. Unfortunately, we were very upset and saddened that such prisons for poor animals still exist. Nowadays, zoos should meet modern standards. Animals and birds should be kept as in nature, where there is enough space for their normal existence, lifestyle, needs. And not in cages, where, one might say, there is no room to turn around. A real nightmare. I am sure that the government of Belarus has enough resources to build a normal wildlife park! I wish you to do this. Also think about equipping the park with sufficient stations where you can buy water, food, where children can play, a room for mothers and children to change diapers, etc. In general, this is unacceptable in our time. It is a pity to see this.

The Stańczyki bridges are truly impressive and well worth a visit. Surrounded by beautiful nature, they offer both a sense of history and breathtaking views. Walking across the area feels unique and inspiring. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful yet memorable sightseeing experience.
Mindaugas G — Google review
I visited this place about a month ago. I was really baffled by its sheer size and the view from up top, I would really recommend this place just because of it's historical value and the amazing views of the forest, creek and village. There is nothing I could complain about, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone with a fear of heights. 😉
PtasiKikót — Google review
These bridges are not only a testament to Prussian engineering and architectural prowess but also a historical symbol of their might and riches. The affordability of the visit, with a modest ticket price of 10 PLN per person, is complemented by the convenience of free parking. As you walk across these grand old bridges, you’re treated to a unique perspective of their design and structure. There’s also the option to explore beneath them along the river, offering a different view and a sense of tranquility. It’s a place where history, architecture, and nature converge, offering a memorable experience for visitors.

This is a must visit place if you are in the town. Several interesting historical items on display. Entry ticket is 20 plz. Discount for students is available. The top floor has a dedicated cafe with several beverage options and few dessert options. Food is good at reasonable price. Definitely go for coffee tonic, fruity drinks and cold beverages. Among cakes, we tried the famous Sernik which tasted as usual. The ambience of the cafe is superb. It offers a 360 degree view of whole town from a significant height. This is also a photogenic location.

Lovely looking water tower and nicely renovated. There are a number of floors which have been made into a museum each with some items of the past, it's a bit of a mishmash to be honest. At the top there is a cafe with good views of the surrounding area.

Boyen Fortress, located in the Masurian Lake District, is a storied 19th-century fortress that played a significant role during World War I and II. Situated on an isthmus between Kisajno and Niegocin lakes, it was once home to 3,000 soldiers defending Gizycko. The fortress features impressive bastion architecture and offers several walking trails with information boards in Polish, English, and German.
Definitely worth a visit. Some facts and figures are really impressive! The fortress itself offers many interesting places, hidden gems and one famous brand logo! Remember to book a guide, definitely worth the money!
Eliza T — Google review
A nice place to visit if you are in the area. The price is very reasonable at 18 pln = £3.48 but unfortunately there is a lot of renovation work needed in the buildings as well as the grounds. It's a shame the vandals get in and graffiti the place. When we were walking around the grounds there were some information signs in a number of languages including English. The exhibitions in buildings 1,16,19 & 22 were okay, very disappointing though there was no translation to English, even a leaflet would of done.
Helen M — Google review
An impressive (read: large) fortress, with a number of auxiliary exhibits throughout its buildings. Several well-marked trails offer different options to visit - the longest will take several hours. The interior of the area could host other attractions, currently it's mostly a meadow.
Pawel S — Google review
Impressive fortress of bastion type, really big. The admission is decent, the longest walk is like 2-3 hours, depends how much interest do you wanna pay to exhibitions and buildings. Downsides: some paths are in bit rougher style of terrain, you go obviously up and down frequently. Exhibitions are not much. Lacking the concept, bits of that and that with little commentary on info tables. Especially the "gunpowder" one. Also it's heavily over grown with trees and bushes, so sheer size and magnificence of the fortress is drown and it resembles more city park than historical landmark.
Václav S — Google review
Interesting place to visit. Quite large, there are many facilities to visit.

This was an impromptu visit at the end of winter in Poland. Will come back in summer. Great place to explore and learn the rich history. You probably need good 4 hours or so to do it. Take your time and explore.
Flyonthewall — Google review
This is an amazing, huge place that is only partly developed. The site is well-organised, and there are 3 different routes to follow, the red route being the most strenuous and interesting. There are plans to develop the site further, including the restoration of some of the buildings and conversion into a hotel. Although parts of the site are not suitable for the less able, there is still a lot that is suitable, and it's well worth the visit. Recommended.
Colin H — Google review
Interesting historical site to visit. There's a detailed sign next to every building to explain the function of each place. There are 3 touristic routes to follow, all of them relatively easy to do. Some of the buildings are pretty much damaged and forgotten, while some others have a nice exhibit.

Park wodny Tropikana

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Park wodny Tropikana is a family-friendly water park offering both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a variety of slides and tubes for visitors to enjoy. Additionally, the park features saunas and a snow grotto for relaxation. The facility also includes an open-air museum known as Folk Building Museum Ethnographic Park in Olsztynek, which showcases nearly 80 rural objects from different regions.
Great water park with a lot of activities for all ages. Many jacuzzi tabs with differen kinds of water, saunas, many different pools for kids and adults. You can spend here 3 hours at least without getting bored. Only downside for us was that no food or drinks are available in the park.
Irena A — Google review
Water park is pretty worn out but it is still fun. Outdoor pools are cool during summer time. If outdoor pools were heated , hotel would have even better ratings.
M Z — Google review
This is not fun place. Tropican naming as fun and current state of aquapark (if you can name it as awuapark) are on different ends of spectrum. This place has been redesigned for calm, chill place. Nothing, nada, zero related to Tropicana. I would call this as large open steril open space. Synonyms to medical reabilitation premices than Tropicana. Kids amenities is a joke, cheap plastic structure in a large open space. I as an adult I had some relaxed episodes during my stay here, but as I cam with kids, they got bored relatively quick. I would not repeat with my kids.
Alius K — Google review
Would be good to have family tickets. On page it say 1.5min little confused because though is 1h and 50min in pool. They do I count as 1.30min not much time at all ,if busy for slides to use or other facilities in that time and get out if with children, 1min after been charged extra every person.
V — Google review
Very nicely equipped for all ages with plenty of areas for people to enjoy the pools, jacuzzi, slides, outdoor space. Equipped with kids areas.
Damian C — Google review
If you expect many different water slides then this is not for you! There are just few ordinary slides, but rest off pools jacuzzy ,,sea" was very nice and most inportant was activities and pool for smallest ones.
Martynas V — Google review
Extremely overpriced and not affordable for families. No discounts offered or family card discount offered. Staff very grumpy. The facilities and slides, pools are good and clean. It wasn’t overcrowded and wait times were minimal. Just so expensive.

Harrowing site of a former Nazi extermination camp built during WWII, now a powerful memorial.
The site is amazing and life changing. The museum itself needs to be knoked out and fully renovated. Never the less I would highly encourage you to visit the site, which is only 30 minutes away from the highway to Warsaw.

Sobering place as expected. Very difficult to get to. Train is easy but from train to this place requires a taxi which took a long time to get. The taxi driver was great though. He also came back for us (I recommend that)

A beautiful, reflective memorial. Incredibly sober and contemplative. It's difficult to find without a car or organised tour but well worth making the effort.

Being German and having visited this place, I did not only find it horrible to walk through the area of the mass graves but also constantly asked myself how a country that had so many good people, so many poets and scientists can have such a dark past. The place itself is perfectly taken care of. I do recommend the audio guide (download the app)that automatically guides you through the whole are. Entry is free - pay 7 sloty for use of toilet and parking.
Manu ( — Google review
The history behind is quite horrible. It is very important not to forget the history. The museum is nicely maintained, and they have films which you can get access through demands to the guard. The onsite location is around more then 2 km long,. There is a way where you can drive a car or bike which we didn't know. Onsite location is not nicely maintained. I have seen better one.
Keyur R — Google review
It is eerie walking around the place but definitely worth a visit. The museum has quite a few interesting stories and facts presented about the situation in the camp during its active years.

A very sad and worrisome place. Learn its history and watch documentaries on Treblinka before you visit to understand the true horror of this place. We got a train from Warsaw then a taxi from the local station which worked out about €20 round trip.

We recently visited Castle Czersk, also known as Zamek Książat Mazowieckich, and it was an amazing trip back in time. The castle is in the pretty Mazovian countryside and is like a living museum, showing the history and grand buildings of Poland. When we got close to the castle, we were impressed by how big and important it looked, surrounded by greenery and a peaceful moat. The outside of the castle has cool old details, like fancy bricks and medieval stuff, making me feel like I was in the past. The people who worked on fixing it up did a great job keeping it real and historical. Inside, the castle is like a museum where you can learn a lot about Polish history. They have interesting exhibits about the Mazovian princes, showing their stuff like old tools, weapons, and clothes. The layout of the castle is big, but it's easy to walk around and see all the different rooms. One of the best parts of my visit was the Great Hall. It's a fancy room that makes you feel like you're back in the old days with high ceilings, cool tapestries, and a big fireplace. The attention to detail in fixing it up is impressive, making it feel like the castle's prime time. The castle is in a good spot, and if you climb to the top, you get amazing views of the land around it. It made me realize how strategic the castle was for defense and talking to other places. The guides at the castle were super helpful. They knew a lot and told interesting stories, making the visit not just about looking at things but also learning cool stuff. They were happy to answer questions and talk with us, making the visit fun and educational. In conclusion, my visit to Castle Czersk was like going on a magical history journey in Poland. The careful fixing up, interesting exhibits, and the pretty surroundings make it a must-see for anyone who likes history or just wants to explore. Zamek Książat Mazowieckich is a special place full of culture, and I left feeling really connected to Poland's past.

Castle itself is not easy to find, don't afraid to follow Google Maps direction. Expect some physical exercises ;)
Nodir A — Google review
Castle ruins with interesting history. You can visit two of the three towers, one is round and the other one is the gate tower just remember to watch your steps in the staircase and don't hit your head. The courtyard is empty because the buildings were burned down by Swedes in the 1650s. Ticket prices are pretty cheap regular is 16 pln and reduced is 11 pln. They also sold some magnets and other souvenirs. I would recommend visiting this castle if you are interested in history / old architecture.

Centrum Nauki Kopernik, also known as the Copernicus Science Center, is a modern and expansive science center in Warsaw. It offers a wide range of interactive exhibits, a robotic theater, and a planetarium. The center is particularly popular among families with children due to its 400 interactive exhibits designed to spark curiosity about science and space exploration. While it may be challenging to explore everything in one visit, visitors can choose their main interests and immerse themselves in hands-on experiences.
A very high-budget project, and a good one. One of my favorite places I visited in Warsaw, you can't miss it if you're here. Very interactive. I was there for around 3 hours and it wasn't enough to see everything. The time flew by. I could spend the whole day in here. I wasn't bored for a second. Absolutely incredible!

I recently visited the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, and it was an amazing experience. The place is full of interactive and educational exhibits that are fun for both children and adults. I especially enjoyed the section with reptiles, insects, and amphibians — it was fascinating! Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Warsaw

Super fun science museum even for adults. Came here with my husband and we spent a good 2 hours going through all the exhibits. Lots of science, math and cool facts, throughout. The museum itself is quite interactive allowing you to play or do the activity that they are intending to teach you. Would high recommend if you have kids or even as adults.
Falene C — Google review
Quite busy during a weekday with soooo many school kids visiting (can't even imagine how it's like over a weekend!) but, undeniably, it's worth it! A thrill for kids and adults alike! You could easily spend there a full day, if only the restaurant was located inside the place... Sadly, you have to step out to get warm food. The cafeteria sells only sandwiches.
Gosia C — Google review
The Copernicus Science Centre is an absolute must-visit in Warsaw. Having worked for almost two years in a similar science centre (Technopolis in Mechelen), I can honestly say that this place made a big impression on me. Everything is modern, interactive and designed to make you explore, test and discover. Each area is clear, well-organised and very well maintained, with a wide variety of hands-on exhibits ranging from physics and biology to robotics, technology and optics. The atmosphere is lively and inspiring without ever feeling chaotic. The staff is friendly, helpful and clearly proud of what they do. The location by the Vistula River adds an extra touch to the whole experience. We truly enjoyed our visit — so much that we can confidently say: 👉 The Copernicus Science Centre is even better than Technopolis.
Carine V — Google review
The museum is interesting and worth spending several hours. The only bad thing was, that it was really overcrowded with school classes when we went there. We came particularly on a week day in the morning, just to find a terribly overfilled museum. it became better only in the afternoon. It would have been really better if they admitted less classes at the same time.
Raffael B — Google review
The Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw is hands down one of the most impressive, modern, and engaging science museums in Europe. It’s a place where learning feels like an adventure, and where science becomes not just something you observe — but something you do. Whether you’re traveling with kids, friends, or even on your own, it offers a truly unique and interactive experience for all ages. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a futuristic, open space filled with light, movement, and energy. The entire centre is designed to awaken curiosity. Rather than glass cases and plaques, you’ll find over 450 hands-on exhibits that invite you to touch, experiment, build, break, race, question, and discover. This isn’t a place where you’re told how science works — it’s a place where you’re encouraged to figure it out for yourself. There are several thematic zones, including one focused on motion and mechanics, another on human perception, one dedicated to light and optics, and even an area exploring the roots of civilization. Each zone is packed with clever, well-thought-out installations. One moment you’re lifting yourself with pulleys, the next you’re conducting a sound wave experiment or walking through a tunnel of mirrors. Everything is bilingual — in Polish and English — which makes it very tourist-friendly. Families with young children will especially appreciate “Buzzz!”, a separate area just for toddlers and younger kids, where they can explore at their own pace in a safe and stimulating environment. For teenagers and adults, the “Re:Generation Zone” offers a deeper dive into artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and human behavior. One of the major highlights is the Planetarium “The Heavens of Copernicus”, located in a dome-shaped building next to the main centre. The shows there are visually stunning and informative, covering topics like the solar system, the Big Bang, and space exploration. English headphones are available, and the seats are incredibly comfortable — perfect for a moment of wonder and relaxation. There’s also the High Voltage Theatre, where you can see dramatic Tesla coil demonstrations and lightning shows — thrilling for kids and grownups alike. And the Robotic Theatre, where lifelike humanoid robots act out short plays, is something you won’t find anywhere else. On weekends, older children and teenagers can take part in science labs (biology, chemistry, robotics, and physics), which are included in the ticket price. These small group workshops allow participants to carry out real experiments under supervision — a brilliant initiative that adds even more value to the visit. The architecture and location are also worth noting. The centre sits right along the Vistula River and offers access to a rooftop garden with stunning views over Warsaw and the riverbanks. It’s a beautiful, green space that offers a moment of quiet after the buzz of the exhibitions below. As for the practical side: tickets are reasonably priced for what you get, but booking online in advance is essential, especially during weekends and school holidays. It can get very crowded, and entry slots sell out fast. The café on site offers a good range of snacks and meals, though seating can be limited during peak hours. There are lockers, a gift shop, and very clean facilities. What could be improved? During busy times, the centre does feel overcrowded. Some exhibits get worn down from overuse and could benefit from more regular maintenance. Also, while most staff are helpful, not everyone speaks fluent English, which might make asking for help a little trickier for international visitors.

Amazing and massive park area. People handfeed the peacocks and red squirrels by the palace. I was shocked how friendly the animals are. One red squirrel came up to me and climbed on my leg thinking I have food. Back in the UK this is unimaginable as animals over there have to be wary of humans.

The Palace of Culture and Science, a prominent 1950s architectural marvel in Warsaw, stands as one of the tallest buildings in Poland and the European Union. This iconic 44-floor high-rise is a symbol of modern Warsaw and offers an array of cultural experiences including theaters, museums, exhibitions, cinemas, restaurants, and bars. Visitors can also enjoy breathtaking city views from the 30th-floor View Terrace.
The most iconic building in Warsaw, 237 meters high! It was built in 1955 as a “gift” from the Soviet Union and Joseph Stalin. On the 30th floor there is an observatory with a panoramic view of the city. It opens its gates at 20:00. You can buy tickets online, as well as from machines on the ground floor or cash at the box office. Recommended!!

The Palace of Culture and Science is an interesting spot to visit in Warsaw. The building is huge and full of history, with good views from the top! It was pouring rain during our visit, but we were able to grab some coffee and icecream at the rooftop! There’s a mix of museums, theaters, and exhibitions inside—definitely worth checking out if you’re in the city.

Good place to visit when in Warsaw. We went inside to explore and took elevator to viewing platform on 30th floor. Tickets have to be purchased for that but they were not very expensive and viewing is amazing. Area surrounding the Palace and Culture and Science is also very nice. Plenty of places to sit and relax or go to get some food.

What a great view of the city! This magnificent sowiet style building offers the best views of the skyline of Warsaw into every direction. The biggest downside? You can't see this beautiful building. Come here at sunset to experience Warsaw at day, night and see a nice red sky. It's also very affordable and there is a nice coffee spot on top.

Soviet building but huge and fascinating. The most interesting building among all. Inside it has a lot if things but the panorama view on the 30th floor is breathtaking! I advise everyone to go there before the dawn, buy tickets in the self-service ticket machine (no need to book tickets in advance) in the hall and watch the beautiful city from the height, especially at night ✨✨✨ The building itself is gliwing with colir lights at night 👌✨

The POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews is a modern and immersive museum located in Warsaw. Housed in a striking contemporary building on the site of the pre-war Warsaw Ghetto, it offers interactive exhibits that delve into the rich history of Polish Jews over 1000 years. The design of the building incorporates symbolism, with large glass areas representing the light and culture brought to the city by Warsaw's Jewish community.
Awesome!! One of my favourite now. It’s free entrance on Thursday including the audio guide. The staff speaking great English and they are super helpful. The museum is interactive, lots to see and read! You can ask the staff about the history and they knew - I’m unsure if everyone knows. I will come back again!

POLIN Museum is probably the best Jewish history museum I've ever visited. I've been to Auschwitz, but even there they don't cover as many interesting details about Jewish suffering during WWII that I learned here. The historical section - from Jews arriving in Polish forests to modern times - is incredible. Tons of details, photos, eyewitness accounts, and document copies. Lots of interactive elements too - you can tear off old-style tickets, take a Jewish alphabet with you, print intricate coats of arms on paper. Free audio guide in almost 10 languages is included with admission and works automatically. Really enjoyable to walk through and I learned so much. This is absolutely a must-visit for anyone in Warsaw.
Egor T — Google review
To start, Warsaw's diverse collection of museums is a major draw, and this specific museum is one that I highly recommend, with the added bonus of an audio guide. Having two free days, I decided to purchase the Warsaw Pass, which covered my entry to this and many museums, although free admission to this museum is available on Thursdays. The architecture is striking, and the historical account of Jewish people in the ghettos is presented in a distinctive and emotionally resonant way. The immense suffering endured by the people is a reminder of the importance of understanding this history.
Beverly ( — Google review
Very well presented exhibitions and interesting facts. Plenty of commentary from the audio guide and also given opportunity to pause and take a break, seating offered to make viewing video exhibitions pleasurable and progress reports throughout. The only down side to my experience were the guides giving guided tours pushing passed to the front before starting to give their speech on exhibitions. At times I could not get through to see the exhibitions or had a tour crowd form around me with no regard to the fact I was trying to view listen or read. Very good exhibitions set in a stunning building and excellent audio guide so I would definitely recommend or maybe return with family if ever in Warsaw
Joel M — Google review
The museum is impressive. Modern, interactive, with so much more information than you can get in during one visit. It is really well curated and realized. Be ready to walk a lot. I have learned so many things from the history of Jewish culture I did not know.

One of the most informative and interesting museums I’ve visited. You will receive a comprehensive history of Jewish community formation and life in Poland. The audio visual presentation leads you through the museum with numerous opportunities to explore the content independently

An awesome place to know the whole history of jewish population of Poland, since the very beginnings of the Kingdom till the tragedy of Holocaust. Exposition is informative, with visual and acoustic inputs, scans, documents, installations and much more.

This museum provided extensive information and is cleverly designed and laid out to add to the experience. The audio guide was really helpful and automatic based on location inside. Definitely recommend on a visit to Warsaw. It was also free to enter and use the audio guide on the Thursday we visited which was appreciated.

Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego is a powerful memorial and museum that vividly portrays the 1944 battle for independence in Poland. Through an array of exhibits, including photographs, personal belongings, and audiovisual materials, visitors are immersed in the harrowing experiences of Warsaw's residents during Nazi occupation and the uprising. The museum features a replica Liberator B-24J bomber hanging from the ceiling, where guests can watch a film depicting post-destruction Warsaw.
Amazing museum. We got there around two hours before closing and still couldn’t get through it all! We did stop often to read the signs. It really gives a sense of how that terrible period was like with commentary that is still relevant today. Good price and clean place. Took a tram nearby to the old town.

To begin, Warsaw's diverse collection of museums is a significant attraction, and this particular museum is one that I highly recommend visiting with an audio guide. The Uprising Museum and Uprising Monument are located in two separate locations. It's worth noting that admission to this museum is free on Thursdays. The Warsaw Rising Museum's purpose is to honor the memory of the Warsaw Uprising's participants and victims, document the history of the Polish Underground State, and recount the story of the city's 63-day resistance against Nazi occupation during WWII. The museum features extensive video evidence documenting the atrocities that occurred. The exhibition commences with a timeline of events and then proceeds to a room used to educate children. I was stunned. Additionally, I found that I was unprepared for some of the video evidence. Towards the end of the exhibition, there was a video marked 'drastic scenes.' I was unable to view it. I experienced a panic attack. I met a gentleman whose face was severely swollen. He cried throughout the entire exhibition. One aspect that I had not previously realized until viewing the videos is the significant pride displayed by those individuals perpetrating such brutality.

It's a really cool place, that's for sure, but if you want to actually spend time reading everything (and there is a LOAD to read), it's not really... accommodating. A load of sounds, very dark, many bright/contrasting lights. I walked in knowing nothing and fine and walked out still knowing nothing with a headache. But the layout is very visually interesting, and I bet the texts are very good, but I gave up on reading them after the first few 'stations' because I genuinely couldn't focus 🤷‍♂️

Very interesting museum , the history is Poland is outrage of neighbors at list 20 century is very rough. The museum is presenting a lot through Poland suffered and Warsaw too. Big respect for this country. They understood nobody truly will save them then their citizens. Repect and big love for Polish people.

Very good museum about the Warsaw Uprising; educational and really well made. The guides were professional and knowledgeable on the subject, as well as each of the partisans and insurgents stories really touched my heart. It’s amazing to see such bravery while being crushed under the weight of hostilities and brutal suppression.

Impressive, saddening, well/maintained and displayed. Words are not enough to tell about it. What an edge people live on, between the war and the peace. And even in 2025 this BS continues to ruin lives. I’d highly recommend that parents bring their children and let them experience the history in this screen-time madness era.

The remarkable, resilient people of Warsaw. God Bless Poland! 🇵🇱 And don't ever forget the brave children who helped underground. Bless their souls.

One of the best museums ive ever been to. Informative and graphic at points really hits home the struggles and efforts of the WP. There are also sporadic sections with the ghettos and impacts on the Jewish community. Kudos to the museum for innovative ways of hiding the more graphic imagery in little concrete Wells or high up in peep holes. 10/10

Zamek Książąt Mazowieckich w Ciechanowie

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Ancient Gothic castle with historical exhibits, occasional war re-enactments & a media room.
Alright, let’s talk about *Zamek Książąt Mazowieckich* in Ciechanów. First off, this is medieval Poland at its finest—a big, hulking castle that looks like it was designed to keep out invaders and make you feel small at the same time. It’s a stunning piece of architecture, classic in every sense, with thick red-brick walls that have seen more history than you can imagine. You walk in and immediately feel like you’re stepping back into the Middle Ages, which, let’s be honest, probably smelled terrible, but luckily we don’t have to deal with that. A bit of history for you: built in the 14th century by the Mazovian dukes, this place was meant to protect the region from whoever was trying to invade that week—Teutonic Knights, angry neighbors, you name it. It’s had its fair share of drama, including being damaged during the Swedish invasion in the 17th century. But like most things Polish, it’s still standing, a bit battered, but proud. The location’s pretty spot-on too—right by the Wkra River, which probably made it easy to dump boiling oil on invaders or whatever medieval folks were into. It’s a solid day trip if you’re around Ciechanów, and the tickets? A real bargain. For about 15-20 PLN, you get to roam around the castle grounds and pretend you’re a duke or duchess for the day. Now, here's the fun part: they’ve got a phone app. Yes, you heard me. A medieval castle with an app. Download it, and it acts as your personal guide, giving you all the facts and historical tidbits as you walk around. It’s like having a tour guide in your pocket, but without the awkward small talk. In short, *Zamek Książąt Mazowieckich* is well worth a visit. It’s big, it’s old, and it’s full of history—and with that app, you might even learn something while you're there.

A very positive experience, friendly staff member and everything clean and organised. I don't usually like audio tours but this was a very good one, everything clear and ready to follow. Definitely worth a visit, a fascinating location.
Julian W — Google review
The castle is interesting especially from an archaeological perspective. The towers hold fascinating tales. The tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, but too many people were crammed together in the towers.. You can also enjoy a game of chess located in the courtyard.

Just a short visit here when visiting family.. Just amazing to find this very old castle in this little town and how easy it is to get to by bike or car . Very quiet when we went in September and no tours or many people.

(Not a patch on Zamek Książ, but still a must-see.) Friendly and helpful staff, useful audio-guide app. Worth coming early to avoid crowds. History well told!

They are in the process of renovation but an interesting visit nonetheless. It will occupy the children for about 2 hours then we took a stroll into town.

Small scale but worth it for the history lesson. If you're in the area, do check it out. They offer a short tour that takes you through the towers and courtyard. Tour is in Polish only, sorry English only people.

Small museum in the birth house of storied composer Frédéric Chopin surrounded by tranquil parkland.
Had a rely nice time, the music played in the park is amazing. With the birds chirping it made for a lovely afternoon

I visited in January. Admission is free on Mondays. I was able to see the house where Chopin actually lived. There were portraits of Chopin and a piano on display, and I was also able to visit the extensive garden. It was very inaccessible and took about 40 minutes by taxi from Warsaw.

Lovely place, very charming. With a beautiful garden to walk around or sit on a bench underneath a tree. Very recommend their live music concerts during its season (May-September).

Amazing place that is full of history. Really well kept. Plenty of gardens around. The cinema shows a moxie about the life of Chopin. The birth house holds a history of Chopin family and holds some old furniture.

Beautiful place for an afternoon walk. Peaceful and relaxing. Great place to learn about Chopin's childhood and life. Even the kids enjoyed it :)
Mabelle C — Google review
A great place to go and a “must have” while visiting Warsaw. First -the place were Chopin was born Second - open piano concerts, especially worth listening in the spring or summer while there is so beautiful outside. Third - the park which surround the house. Stunning. Overall the place is essential. Go and you will not regret it.
Oakfriend — Google review
Amazing garden to walk around. They had all native species of plants and trees. Definitely a place to visit. I was a little sad about the concert as the pianist was inside and they played it through speakers outside but it was a great performance.

The park and gardens are both five-star attractions. The organizing skills of the museum operators do not deserve more than two stars. I can't comment on the interior of the house because of the above-mentioned organization of the museum. After the 12:00 recital on Sunday 13-07-25 when the house was supposed to open to visitors, a man was posted at the door without any prior announcement to stop anybody entering. Very disappointing. In deference to my Polish host, I did not demand a refund.

A very large park. The park is clean and the place is well taken care of. Dogs are allowed, our dog was delighted with the spacious paths and forest. It is very quiet there and despite the crowds, we managed to relax. We paid 17 zlotys per person for entry. Once you wander through the forest, you can discover many abandoned attractions. Our family definitely recommends visiting this park. It was a good day)

Wonderful park with a really incredible palace. The entrance isn’t free, you need to pay, both for the park and for palace. Inside it’s very beautiful and picturesque, especially in spring when everything is blooming. There is one small cafe, but better go to cafes near the entrance. The parking costs 10 PLN (only cash). You can buy tickets to the palace directly being inside.

Beautiful Palace but everything is roped off not much interaction. Every room is guarded by employees who watch your every move. The grounds have just a few flowers and room to walk around. The water has swans and ducks. There is a bee hive on the grounds.

MIEJSKI OGRÓD ZOOLOGICZNY W PŁOCKU Sp. z o.o.

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Modern zoo with animals from lions to kangaroos, plus a reptile house, exotic birds & petting area.
I like the place and it's my favorite place for a walk. This zoo has some interesting animals and excellent new aquarium with some special exhibits, like two meter long giant river fish. Terrariums are also interesting and there is a lot of variety. Everything seems well maintained now and I hope this will continue because the place deserves it. I would like this zoo to have some sort of Cafe or small permanent gastronomy with all-year service instead of temporary stands. This makes the Zoo look more like a place for everyone, animals too, instead of "tourist attraction for kids". I will continue to visit this zoo and I recommend others to visit it too.
Bernard O — Google review
Great sized zoo, good for a few hours of fun. Our younger children really enjoyed it, especially the explorers passport.
Arleta B — Google review
The zoo was very cool! I've been to several zoos in the USA and the Plock zoo had lots of animals I've never seen before. I thought it was very cool how close I could get to some of the animals. A great experience! I'm glad I was able to visit.
Wayne M — Google review
A bit dated in parts but continuously evolving and improving, albeit slowly. Free carparks within 5min walk. Decent selection of animals that appear looked after. Decent selection of ice cream huts across the park for little cravings but not much in terms of savoury food (especially out of school holiday season). A line park for an extra fee available on site to burn some extra energy.

I loved the zoo its different and they have a jungle game that u can play with ur child i love it If ur going hungry dont because no big resturants
Coach S — Google review
The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because the day we came the seals in the seal show were very lazy and didn't do too much. On the other hand, there were some very beautiful animals and many things to keep us busy.
Zuzanna — Google review
It was an amazing experience, a lot of animals, nice staff, during winter you see less animals because its cold. During summer the views are stunning.

We loved seeing the castle and the small town. The water tour was pretty and relaxing. We hope to return and play on the zip line activity.

Would have been a 4 star if ut weren't as busy. If you really want to enjoy this location, it is better to go there when kids are in school. If you're expecting a cosy relaxation environment, this is not the address you are looking for.
Jorg F — Google review
This was our second visit to Termy Uniejów and once again, we had a wonderful time. The thermal springs are very relaxing, with different pools and temperatures to choose from, so you can really enjoy the variety. The sauna area is excellent, especially with the cold plunge for contrast therapy—it’s a great experience. The facility is very family-friendly. There are multiple areas designed for kids, including three fun water slides, and we even saw swimming classes taking place, which shows how well they cater to all ages. Everything is clean and well organized. The locker system is simple and safe—you just get a wristband so there’s no need to carry cash or worry about your belongings. For dining, the cafeteria-style restaurant offers a good selection of food, making it convenient to recharge between swims. Overall, the entire complex runs smoothly, and the staff keep it well maintained. This was our second visit, and it definitely won’t be the last. A perfect spot for both relaxation and fun for the whole family!
Orest M — Google review
Very good place for relax and fun! In winter you can swim in warm water, and in summer there are waterslides and some outdoor pools. I recommend to go on weekdays because there's less people in queue, but there's always a lot of people, like in every good place :DD
Jamnior — Google review
The place gets boring after like an hour, my family bought tickets for 3 hours and in my opinion it wasn't worth it. I'm 1.85 m so I'm not that tall but still I got myself a concussion on the closed tunnel slides. The turns way too sharp and I hit my head multiple times. I saw little children running around lone and no staff cared. Also there should be more janitors because the main entrance (next to the showers and pools) there's a ton of people going barefoot and I don't want anyone getting foot infection. But still though, I wasn't going there for myself but my family and I think they had fun. We have went in the summer so I guess the tickets just were expensive (I don't blame y'all there's a lot of pools) but I hoped for something better. Maybe add more open slides and I will come back but don't expect me coming anyway soon.
Grzegorz S — Google review
Great experience. Very friendly staff, and helpful. The atmosphere, while crowded, very friendly, relaxed, no pushing, waiting, very kind. A place to go and mingle with locals, who just enjoy the availability of the thermal bath, and the variety of saunas, Whirlpools, etc.
Martin S — Google review
Nice but small. Lot's of renovations. Hope it will be bigger soon. At the weekend mostly too much crowded. Great possibility to have lunch. Food is delicious and healthy.
Nataliia S — Google review
It used to be my favourite place to spend quality time with my family...8 yrs ago it was something but now it became worse - not always clean toilets...People not showering before entering swimming pool.. screaming untamed kids without their parents close by.. (during summer most parents are spending time at pool bar having a beer) :( The prices are getting high and the comfort is at its lowest point. Let's hope that ŁÓDŹ will be better option in a future - the city is planning to build thermal pool and recreational area with all newest facilities.

Jasna Góra is a significant spiritual site in Poland, established by the Paulite order in 1382. The monastery houses the revered Icon of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa and various other sacred artworks. Pilgrims are drawn to this location due to reported miracles associated with the Black Madonna painting in the Chapel of Lady. The site also features an information center that offers guided tours in English.
A truly magical place. Visiting Jasna Góra Monastery was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is filled with peace and spiritual energy. You can feel a deep sense of calm and sacredness the moment you walk through the gates. A must-visit for anyone seeking reflection, history, or simply a moment of inner peace.

A heathen here. A pretty magnificent church. Our tour uses a local tour guide who takes us through the church while the Mass is in progress. He's also very thorough with the small museum. The church is dedicated to Black Madonna (the Virgin Mary), mother of Jesus. Reportedly, she possessed extraordinary power.

Wonderful shrine, a must-see while around Krakow. The icone of our Lady, the beautiful church, a very interesting treasury and museum, and breathtaking view at the top of the tower, all these make this place a magical one.
Nizar K — Google review
My visit to Jasna Góra immediately gave me a sense of falseness and incoherence. The sanctuary presents itself as a place of humility, compassion, and deep spirituality, yet the atmosphere felt strangely performative, almost staged. The devotion is grand, but the emotional tone is rigid — more about preserving an image than expressing genuine faith. What impressed me most was the strong contrast between the values celebrated inside the sanctuary and the social attitudes often seen outside of it. Poland proudly defines itself as a deeply Catholic nation, yet frequently promotes restrictive and exclusionary positions toward migrants, diversity, and LGBTQ+ people. This tension becomes glaring when compared to the very teachings the sanctuary claims to elevate. Below are some of the biblical passages that highlight this contradiction: Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.” Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Mark 12:31 “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” Seen through this lens, Jasna Góra becomes a symbol of a broader national paradox: a powerful religious identity that often seems disconnected from the empathy, openness, and inclusion that the Gospel itself demands. Instead of spiritual harmony, the visit raises difficult questions about the gap between religious image and social reality.

Stefano C — Google review
It wasn't really what my kids were expecting. My 11 year old wanted to ride more dinosaurs. My 8 year old wanted to interact with the dinos and not just look at them. The rides weren't even dinosaur themed. Food was ok. We ate outside where wasps were pretty much swarming us half the time. The 4d attractions were neat, not too much for those of us who tend to get queasy. We were there for the night on a Sunday, and once the park closed, we had a hard time finding a place to eat. Only a pizza place was open past 8, and the wait for delivery was an hour and a half at that point. Our over night accommodations were in the human evolution building. The common areas were very dark, and the entire decor was futuristic, blocky and uninviting. We stayed in the bronchiasaurus room, which housed 16 bunk beds and a private rest room with 2 each: sons, toilets, showers. There was a hair dryer and body wash/shampoo in the showers. Towels were provided. The windows all had screens to keep bugs out, which is rare here. The staff were accommodating with breakfast. We had to be on the road before their normal breakfast time started, so they prepared us sandwiches and packed them in a large bag and stored them for us in the common area kitchenette. A unique feature was the active dig site and being able to see authentic fossils. We did manage to get lost trying to find the dinos as we didn't expect the huge play ground and all the rides. There's also a beach on a lake. Lots of activities available. My kids enjoyed the giant trampoline. There's also an upside down house diagonal from the human evolution building you can go into for a little extra (36 pln for a family of 2 adults & 2 kids). We didn't use it, but there's ample camp grounds as well.

A great fun place for all the family. Lots to do for any age.. The food is petty decent too. There is a great variety of fun, with enough space to accommodate everything. Interesting interactive surprises. A very clever way to do it right. Been a number of times and always enjoy it. Downside is not enough staff, so beverage areas were closed and long queues. You must do the train ride!!

Mobile internet quality is very low. But other entertainment is quite good. Children were happy.

The zoo houses over 600 animals from around the world, including iconic species like lions, tigers, and elephants, as well as various birds, reptiles, and primates. Visitors appreciate the spacious and well-organized layout of the zoo with wide paths and open spaces. Many also praise its modern facilities and beautiful water features.
Great activity for the whole family. It took us 4 hours to visit and we didn’t really see 100% plus we were moving fast. . Get the ticket ahead online so you don’t have to wait in line (and it can get pretty long). . There is a nice playground for kids, Ice cream stands and restaurants inside. It really could be an all day adventure! Really worth it!

There are a variety of wild animals to see here. The enclosures are very large and offer the animals plenty of activities and space. A very nice family zoo, the seals have plenty of action! A really nice zoo!

Very nice, not very big ZOO. We saw couple feedings and trainings. Parking close by for fee, the one across the bridge is free.

This zoo is beautiful and big. There is English posting for names and much information in Polish that can be translated with Lens. The ice cream was delicious and very clean place. We spent over two hours and could have spent even more time there. I think we walked nearly 10km during the visit. It is one of my favorites

Even better zoo than I imagined. You can see the animals really close. It's really modern, clean, and has beautiful waterfalls and an overall vibe. We went on a rainy day, so there were almost no other visitors besides me and my girlfriend, which made it feel like a private tour. We were there for at least 2.5 hours and still didn't see everything that the zoo had to offer.

Really good experience, can’t complain really! Though it was sometimes hard to view the animals as the cage was very large compared to the number of animals with an outdoor and indoor section. Apart from that wear some good shoes as you’ll be walking for ages.
