A bit too windy on top and way colder than at the lake but the views were amazing! We could see the lake very well, and the mountains around us. You should definitely go to the top if you’re at Lake Garda! It’s a good spot for paragliding, if you’re interested in that.

Great views of mountains and Lake Garda. Cable cars are good. BUT, online booking didn't work so had to queue in blazing sun for 25 minutes and then join the main queue for a further hour and a half. I wouldn't bother going again.

Hiking with astonishing views on Garda Lake is amazing. Rout to Monte Baldo is not very hard but still demanding. Down is hot, up much colder. Not many tourists, no crowd. Only beautiful surroundings, nature and sun. 5 hours walk worth to make!

it is said - buy a ticket online - avoid the queue ! - but that is not true! - don’t bother! you enter the building and there is a queue for 2 hours! and everyone stands together - you can’t avoid queue at all! and it is super hot :( I do not recommend it in high season unless you have the whole day free and like waiting in a huge crowd:(

Great view over Lake Garda, you could take the cable car from Malcesine, or drive by car and then walk 30-45 min.

I loved the whole experience, went on a Monday and there weren’t lots of people so more fun and no queues incase you wanna go for biking, cable car or paragliding. Beautiful panoramic. I loved the cows 😆🥰

Splendid view in the lake and many ridges in the other side of the mountain. Paragliders made it a picturesque scene. We liked it all the way.

This was perhaps the best Palazzo I ever visited. Of course, Mantegna's work (camera degli sposi) was fab, but the building, setting, views as a whole were remarkable. I can understand why 400 years of Gonzagas lived here.

The crown jewel is undoubtedly the Camera degli Sposi, Andrea Mantegna’s illusionistic masterpiece that transports you into the heart of the Gonzaga dynasty . You’ll also discover the dazzling Hall of Mirrors, rich with mythological frescoes and regal reflections , along with sumptuous tapestries and Rubens’s “Adoration of the Holy Trinity” .

Four hours of magnificance! This palace is now one of my favourites. Starting with the bridal room and Mantegna's masterpiece - leading through corridors, rooms, passages, balustrades and gardens with some of the most stunning works ever made. As for the gardens and collection rooms - Having visited the Met's Cloisters, brought back memories - Ducale's Palace must have been an important benchmark and inspiration. A worthwhile visit. Bring time and a pair of comfy shoes or sandels. I walked the full stretches of Venice's palazzos, but Ducale is where I needed to rest my feet after the visit.

Didn’t expect much, but ended up really enjoying this muzeum. The castle itsef is amazing, very nice and well preserved frescoes. A lot of different items on display, everything from sea shells, crocodiles, greek and roman sculptures, to weapons. Nice place for kids :)

Very nice and extensive palace, so big that you can get lost ( or out of energy). A must if you travel in Mantova.

Dizzying array of intricately decorated rooms and artistic artifacts. You’ll never be able to absorb it all.

I would say that it is the main place you have to visit in northern Italy. The Palace is huge. Mind that you will need at least to 4-5 hours if you want to see most of it. It has a day off so either check in advance or take working hours from the info point near it.

Basilica di Sant'Andrea in Mantua is a stunning church with an impressive façade and a beautifully decorated interior. It’s especially known for housing a relic said to contain the blood of Christ. The architecture is grand yet inviting and stepping inside feels like walking into a piece of Renaissance history. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town!

Soul soothing and fulfilling. A feast for the mind and eyes just being in here. I personally prefer visiting churches compared to the Museums or Art galleries - it is usually free of charge, a lot less people and I get to relish their beautiful and unprecedented work of art and architecture. Treasure all around and above - It is best done sitting on one of the long pews and simply look up. There are a staggering collection of beauty and religious significance here. "Do not judge a book by its cover" it is a place that is unassuming on the outside but absolutely phenomenal inside and dominates over the Piazza Mantegna. Here preserves the greatest relic of Christianity: the Sacred Vessels containing the blood of Christ.

Free entry, but don't let that fool you. If you want the church to be lightened up for better vision you need to pay. Beautiful, details in painting and sculpture but open up your spiritual eyes and look at all the demonic signs and symbols of the freemasons.

Absolutely breathtaking place! If there's something in Mantova you shouldn't miss, it's this gorgeous colorful basilica. Especially the paintings are extraordinary! The entry is free, just make sure not to visit during the long lunch break.

We were lucky to find a guide who told us the story of this magnificent church and its relics. It gave us the goosebumps. The trip in the crypt was awesome and a first for us, so we were really impressed. Clearly you need faith to believe all the stories, but they are nevertheless beautiful. I also loved the paintings inside and all the decorations, but especially the gothic part of this otherwise Renaissance monument. Go inside!

Lots of neat artwork, but what you get to see for the €15 entry pales in comparison the the Ducal Palace complex including the San Giorgio castle (same entry fee) and museums. It was neat to check out, but if you only have time or funds for one, this is not the better choice considering offerings options and price. But it sure is worth stroll thru if you are here and interested. Different style of artwork than a lot we saw around there. Don't forget the grotto before you leave!

This is the palace built by the royal family of Mantua, as a palace of leisure, now a museum. It is richly decorated with frescoes, including those by Giulio Romano. My favorite room was The Hall of the Giants alhough others were also quite beautiful. There is a good audioguide in English and other languages.

Palazzo Te is a stunning example of Italian Mannerist architecture and a must-see for art and history lovers. Built in the 16th century by Giulio Romano for Federico II Gonzaga, it’s both elegant and eccentric. The highlight is the Sala dei Giganti, where dramatic frescoes engulf visitors in a collapsing world of myth. The palace’s playful illusions and masterful fresco work make it feel more like a theatrical experience than a museum. While it’s not massive, the artistry is unforgettable. A unique gem in Mantua that blends grandeur with creative flair.

A gorgeous piece of history that is still standing today. Seeing Palazzo Te transports you back in time, and feels as though you’re in a dream. We visited the wonderful November 2023 exhibition, and the place was in pristine condition. The infamous Sala dei Giganti e Sala dei Cavalli are not to be missed! Staff are extremely kind, and like all other museums in Italy, they offer discounts for students, elderly people and children.

Great garden. The palace is not very big but has interesting rooms to see. Most of them were too provocative for mine taste of art but all of them were made with grace and detailed. The sun and the moon was my favourite . It was very shocking for me that every place in Montova has different working hours in every day of the week. So if you are planning to visit definitely take the working hours map from the info point.

Very impressive palace with water and a garden. Our tour guide Simone was a lovely and hilarious addition to the experience. The palace's rooms offer a very diverse selection of decorations, some of the frescoes make you wonder what kind of orgies they were celebrating. A beautiful botanical park not far from the southern part of Lake Garda. We visited in early June 2025. The park is lush with greenery, butterflies, and birds. It’s highly recommended to take the small train tour that runs through the park. The ride lasts about 35 minutes and circles the entire park, giving you a sense of its size and helping you decide which areas you'd like to explore on foot. Some of the highlights include a Japanese garden, a plant maze, an herb and butterfly garden, an educational farm, and more. We spent about three wonderful hours there — you could easily spend even more. Be sure to bring a bottle of water, as it can get quite hot during the day, even in June. Convenient parking is available about 250 meters north of the park entrance, in the supermarket parking lot.

Beautiful park and great family outing We went on a family trip to Parco Giardino Sigurtà and had a lovely day. We enjoyed a picnic in the gardens and drove around in a small golf cart, which the kids absolutely loved. The park is stunning and very well maintained – perfect for a relaxing day in nature. It is a bit on the expensive side though; we paid around 720 DKK for one golf cart for 2.5 hours. Highly recommended!

Amazing botanical garden, an absolute must see if you are in the area. Good paths to walk on, however, since the park is so big, there's also an option to rent a bike or golfkart. We rented a gokfkart, which is very convenient with small children.

Huge gardens with ponds, maze, castels, and other scenic beauties... Can spend days over there. Electric bikes and golf carts are available to rent.

The park itself is beautiful, but €46 for 2 adults and 2 kids is way too much considering the experience. Many attractions were closed, the park felt empty, and there wasn't much to do. It's a nice place to walk around, but with so little open, it should cost no more than €5 per person.

Beautiful place with amazing flowers. You can spend the entire day there. Bicycles are recommended, too bad they are not suitable for all ages.

We had an absolutely fabulous day at the Gardaland! You feel like in a fairytale, and all the roller coasters are very exciting! 😍 I recommend going on a (rainy) weekday, so the queues are shorter and you manage to see everything. Feel free to skip the Jumanji Adventure ride though, it’s not quite worth a 40+ minute wait.

Another amazing amusememt park for kids and older as well. Rides get pretty busy with the nice weather, like in every resort. I wish there was a better overview what each ride offers - we waited 90 minutes for Jumanji adventure, which was absolutely no advanture plus it was all in Italian. Other than that, only 4 rides required height over 140, few over 130. Make sure to check these requirements before going. Also, buying tickets outside od the official venue office is cheaper so look for those selling points in the city.

We visited Gardaland on a Wednesday and had an amazing time! 🎢 The waiting time for each ride was less than 15 minutes, which made the whole experience super smooth. The official app showing live queue times was very helpful — it helped us plan our route efficiently and enjoy more rides. The park is clean, beautifully themed, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and organized, and there were plenty of food options and rest areas. Both the kids and adults had a blast — from the thrilling roller coasters to the fun family attractions. Highly recommend visiting on a weekday if possible — short queues, great atmosphere, and so much fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic for kiddies as there is a great balance of calmer rides with ease of motion while still holding very good production value. The adult rides too are equally fantastic. I hold the overall experience below Europa park however and wouldn't go too far out of my way to visit it.

So much fun, there's something for everyone. We also went during weekday in October, there was minimal queue and wait time even on popular rides. Absolutely recommended visiting if you have kids and are in the area.

We had such a fantastic time at Gardaland! The park is full of magic, excitement, and plenty of things to do for both kids and adults.There are so many attractions from thrilling rides to fun games that kept us entertained all day. The decorations and themed areas are beautiful and immersive, making it feel like stepping into another world.The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well-organized despite the crowds. It’s also worth mentioning that the park is very clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of places to relax, grab food, or cool down.If you’re visiting Italy with kids, Gardaland is absolutely worth it. I am sure that a family would love this place...my wife and stayed at the Gardaland hotel, and rode the bus to the park in the morning (bus runs every 16 minutes) We love roller coasters and these did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the park is very well cared for (it's clean!) over all a great experience.

Amazingly beautiful location, we visited at the end of season (mid October) so not everything was open. Would definitely visit again, people very friendly, scenery was beautiful 😍

My favourite of All the lakes . Sirmione especially was magical . Pass by the Roman palace hotel Villa Cortina , share a small intimate boat ride with live saxaphone at the Goldenur and visit the museum On the ocean side of the lake . The gelataria offers the biggest fattest ice cream cones ive seen in my 40 years of travel . There is also an outdoor ruined fortress near the museum . Take time to stroll the pretty neighbor hood of lucky homes when you near the museum- they all face the lake and are to be admired . We drove to Malcesine , one of the few towns with any amenities but it was so overwhelming with all the German tourists and little space to sit down anywhere . A mob scene . We didn’t see Beyond the right side of the lake and will see the other side next time. But for me Sirmione and its castle was an outstanding pleasure .

This is a very cool historical adventure. The tour was worth the ticket price, the grounds are gorgeous, and we had the best time learning about the history of the owner and his life. Make sure you buy tickets at least the day before. And even if they say the tour is only available in Italian, they will provide information in other languages as well. Plan to spend about 3 hours exploring the grounds and touring the house.

Very nice place, but beware, there are LOTS OF STAIRS! So. Many. Stairs. Never-ending stairs. And even more stairs! I do not recommend anyone to try going here with a stroller, although my arm muscles probably doubled in size after lugging our stroller filled with food, drinks, and a one-year-old up and down the million stairs here. But otherwise, definitely well worth the visit, the views are beautiful, photogenic, and seeing a boat in the middle of an Italian hillside is very unusual! It wasn't overcrowded (September Sunday afternoon), and we got our tickets on the spot with no problem (although we didn't go on a tour of the house).

The park is very nice, the views of the Garda are amazing, but the museum itself tells a very superficial and one sided story about D'Annunzio. On a weekend in October it was well visited, but you never get the impression it is too full

Very beautiful, I really liked the contemporary art and wonderful nature. The ship is very impressive, and so is the museum in its bow. The mausoleum is also impressive and grants you a great view of the Garda lake. Just too bad not everything is translates, the majority of info plaques are solely in Italian.

Too expensive for what its offered. In addition to the entrance ticket you have to pay extra for the chairs/places to be around the pool. Place is full of rules for what you can use, hammocks, camping mats and chairs are all forbiden. Common water park nothing exciting.

Great aqua park to spend a day with kids or without. There are several swimming pools: for adults, for kids, mixed. There is a big wellness area for adults, slides for smaller abd bigger kids. There are two cafes inside the park and a big free parking

We love it here. Lots of things for the kids to do. Swimming in a pool, playing on the play ground, splashing and going down the slides in the water park. If your kid is tall enough(if you paid for him) then he can go down the big water slide. They have food there, but you can bring your own. You can rent chairs there or bring blankets to lay on. There's trees all over for shade.

This is a huge swimming complex for all ages. Well designed and well organised. Bars are frequent throughout. We had a great day and so did the kids

The Park is wonderful but is mainly for children there is no deep point in the entire park and there are strict rules, but very recommended for children

Incredible museum. Includes remains of Roman villas, bronze statues and a convent with stunning frescoes. Completely worth its UNESCO heritage badge. Bought a €19 ticket which included entrance tickets this and the group of sites.

This museum complex is a gem! 💎 It houses an incredible collection of pre-Roman, Roman, Medieval, and more recent artifacts. The Roman section includes in-situ excavations of Roman houses (domus) with stunning mosaic floors and frescoes. The Cross of Desiderius is also beautiful, as is the magnificent room where it’s displayed. There’s so much more to see, but it would take too long to describe it all. All I can say is that this place is a must-see: absolutely worth the entry ticket. Plan to spend several hours being amazed!

This is a medium sized museum. You can definitely spend a few hours here looking at the frescos. There aren't a lot of individual paintings but the historical Roman foundation of the Domus is on display along with many of the Brescia sculptures. The solario is a beautiful sight to see with vibrant color and the wall and ceiling images are impressive. The San Salvatore and Santa Giulia church have beautiful frescos.

We love museums (especially my 9 year old daughter), but this place was a complete maze and somehow felt a bit boring (except the two excavated buildings in the basement). Also weird that in the museum we could only buy the more expensive 'combination tickets' that were for 5 museums in the city (which we end up not using).

A biiig museum, you’ll need at least two hours for the visit. Excellent rapresentation of artefacts and additional videographic explanations. I will come back and stay a whole day there!

It is indeed a great museum, however, the path to fallow all sections is not clear. You may pass an area twice and miss some other areas. You need to dedicate ~3h to be sure that everything is seen.

Loved this castle. great place to spend a couple of hours wondering around the grounds of this ancient castle. The tower provided an amazing view of the city. I highly recommend stopping here and taking in a coffee in the piazza outside the castle. Parking was easy and the castle is located near many of the other historic sites.

Good for a short stop while travelling between Franciacorta and Lake Garda. The castle is beautifully lighted up in the evening and there is free parking at the base of the castle. Great spot to see the sunset and the castle’s drawbridge is very well preserved too.

Awesome Castle. The walk up is interesting, following the names of terrorism victims and the view from the top is amazing. No entrance fee either. Best thing we did in Brescia.

Lovely castle to visit for free with great views round the city. Lots of seating areas for sitting with lunch and free toilets. There are a couple of museums that we didnt have time to visit bur would have liked to. There is a ricket for 19 euris for adults that allows access to many of the main sights. Definitely worth the walk up the steps or the less steep path.

Impressive castle with stunning views over Brescia. Walk from the city centre is pleasant (a bit steep in parts but manageable). Entrance to castle grounds is free and it’s very easy to enjoy 2+ hours exploring and appreciate the views!

The water park is not bad, we have been going here for more than 4 years, but this year the fee has become too high! First you have to pay more than 20 euros for a ticket, then for a sun lounger (or you will be forced to stay on the wet grass), for a safe locker also 4 euro , for parking another 4 euros. if you need warm water in the shower or a hairdryer, there is also an additional charge for this. Add to all this cost the cost of water during the day, coffee, snacks and in the end - 100 euros per day per couple. As for me , it is too high price. Also notice that on the weekends there are long lines to get an inflatable ring for slides, have to wait about 20-30 minutes.

It was nice, clean and prices as any other aquapark.. however there is very little for adults to do. This is child orioented and compared to other aqua parks in europe its small. But also price was ok in comparison

Le Vele – Unfortunately, a huge disappointment!!! We visited Le Vele hoping for a fun family day, but it turned into a frustrating and unpleasant experience. The park was overcrowded with school trips and summer camps. Teenagers were left without supervision, cutting in lines, being loud and rude – and lifeguards did absolutely nothing to manage the chaos. To make things worse, both of my sons had their water shoes stolen. One pair was found in another area by chance, the other never recovered. The only positive moment came thanks to Veronika and Aurora from the reception, who were kind, understanding and helped by giving one of my sons a spare pair of flip-flops. We're very grateful to them! Overall, the park may look appealing online, but in reality it is poorly managed, lacks safety, and offers a stressful experience. Not recommended for families. There are much better water parks in the area.

Staff is very friendly and nice. Park is great clean and no long lines to wait. Very cool slides.

I think this aquapark is so bad. Life guards don't care about ANY People in the pool. Nobody Cares about your items (somebody stole my slippers that are 60€). Huge line to the pool, and to the slides. And very expensive tickets.

Alton Towers for water lovers. Amazing fun and very reasonably priced.

If your fit enough do the number one route. It's not a killer but with the heat it will put your body under pressure. Ok it's a church. Nice view from the top and its nice to do. You cab also get the bus most of the way up leaving you a 15 min walk at the end.

Super beautiful church with amazing views all around the Iseo lake and especially at Sulzano. The atmosphere during sundowners is beautiful, however the church guard will ask you to leave at around 6PM. Perfect spot for marriage proposals. The walk up here is quite steep but nice as well, you get to see some very nice local architecture and farm land.

I started my hiking from Siviano so it took me awhile to reach the Santuario. The trail isn’t hard, you can do it in 1 hour. It took me more than just because it was impossible to not stop and admire the views. If you’re going to Iseo is a must do for sure.

Beautiful place. You can go up the mountain by bus and then go about 25 minutes to get to the church. A ticket to the bus costs 1,50 euro. Next to the church there is a free toiltet. During the walk there are seats and tables if you want to take a rest. The views are amazing.

Superb views but the climbing is hard if you walk from lake... There is also a small caffe/bar where you can fulfill Your non-spirit energy.

One of the most beautiful Cathedrals I’ve had the opportunity to visit. Make sure you look up in every vestibule !

It’s a lot of steps to go up the tower but there is something to see on each floor as well as to catch your breath. It is really worth paying to see the tower which includes access to the Baptist part. But the Tower makes you really look at the clock which is far, far advanced to anything we have still and it still works in part. Plus the great views of the city at the top. The cathedral itself is a must too including the crypt and really a great respite from the heat.

A fantastic cathedral. We went to mass which was incredible with voices of the choir like angels. And what a beautiful church. The art is beautiful. Plan on at least an hour for a visit. Longer if you attend mass.

This place is wonderful, the Torrazzo is the 3rd tallest brickwork bell tower in the world, was constructed in 1309. the view from the tower is astonishing

Imposing and vast, much more than you might reckon for a relatively small city as Cremona. The inside is richly decorated (many reinassance artists contributed to its beautifully preserved frescoes) and the vault awe-inspiring. The church is free to visit - the rest of the complex, for example the bell tower, is not. Don't miss the floor mosaics in the crypt!

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not crowded at all. We bought the ticket at the entrance and used the lockers free of charge. The museum showcase some of the world's best instruments, which one can listen to simply by scanning the QR code at the display. It has some interactive exhibition and a high technology sound dome. Spent around 45min to finished exploring with two music loving teens. A very enjoyable experience.

A small and specific museum dedicated to the art of Violin making and the history behind Cremona’s role in it. Specifically the Stradivarius lineage. Worth a trip to get away from the crowds and brands of Milan and explore.

A must! Highly underrated and very detailed museum with a great layout and tons of beautiful instruments to see for anyone who appreciates classical instruction or Stradivarius.

Beautiful place. I was impressed by the historical treasure they keep. It was a great pleasure to approach these masterpieces of the greatest violin makers.

billion dollar collection of Strad and Avati violins. Nothing much to see if you don’t play the instrument. the audio guide refused to function in english and the staff is rather lackluster. But you go to Cremona to see Strad and Strad you definitely see and hear in this place

Definitely the highlight of my Italy vacation so far. Well worth it if you like violins. Straravari violins fascinate me so this was amazing!

Cannot say enough of our experience visiting the museum and Cremona. It was so insightful! My husband plays the violin and thoroughly enjoyed every part of the museum. We were sorry to miss a live recital which are only on weekends but the visit was still very worth it. One staff member by the name of Clara, was very nice and patient, she answered tons of questions and made our time there so enjoyable. We plan on coming back soon!!

Although the inside of this great manor is going through a major restoration (late summer 2023) there are plenty of beautiful photos to shoot. Take your time to walk around the whole perimeter to enjoy the architecture of the massive wall surrounding the Castle. One major flaw is (IMO) the presence of a tennis court right NEXT to this beautiful ancient manor!! Still worth a visit though. Have fun.

Truly amazing place mostly unknown by tourists. Part of the itinerary of the city in a multi-entrance ticket costing only 7 Euros. Have fun visiting the entire castle. Added bonus: archeological museum inside documenting the evolution from Celtic to Roman to Medieval.

A medieval military castle preserved in its ancient glory. It’s possible to explore the lower chambers, the main tower and walk along the walls. Visit with professional guides can be arranged at the entrance (highly recommended! about 20€) Expect 45min queues to get tickets (cash only, 5€) Closes at about 5pm, perfect for a winter sunset.

One of the many jewels that dot the Po valley. We visited on a Sunday afternoon in August, and it was not crowded at all. The town too deserves a visit.

One if the best experiences we had as a family visiting Bergamo, its a must if you like animal parks. The animals was in great condition very clean in great areas and well taken care of.

We came on a rainy day but the place is so nice we didn't even notice. I saw some animals for the first time in my life that live in tropical areas. We had only one hour to visit but it was not enough to see everything. We will come back for sure.

Luckly found this zoo when trying to find things to do in the area while on holiday. What a surprise. Very cheap at €24 to get in and was huge. All animals were in good condition and the enclosure were top notch. So much to see and do while there. Definitely worth a visit. To get there we got a 2 buses and then walked about 20 mins. So not really easy accessible if dont have a car but is do able.

This is an amazing zoo! Good selection of animals. Lot of trees and plants. Clean spaces for animals. Great idea regarding safari train for kids and giraffe feeding. You will see more animals in state owned zoos but it is hard to beat the experience you can have here.

This is a really cool place! It’s a bit hard to reach from Bergamo if you don’t have a car, but not impossible. There’s quite a large variety of animals, some of them in really nice habitats (like the exotic birds). There are many restaurants and places where you can eat your own food, even some playgrounds for kids. There’s a train that takes you around the place and it costs €2. It was not very crowded when we arrived, but we visited on a Saturday at 5PM. By the way, the ticked is €18 if you arrive 3 hours before closing (and 3 hours is more than enough if you don’t have young children). Indeed, some spaces are small for the animals (like the elephants, rhinos, or the big cats) and they looked quite sad. Not necessarily not cared for, but a bit depressy. In my opinion, it’s a really cool place, with lots of animals and if you visit Bergamo, it’s definitely not to be missed!

Fantastic place for the family many animals to see reptiles, serpents, aquatics, Safari Animals, massive park many trees with chairs and tables for picnics —yes you can bring your own food or you can eat in their restaurants book online for your convenience parking is not free though you have to pay €5.00 fix rate. Great place for younger children, height limits on some rides (105cm & 120cm) so worth keeping this in mind before you visit. Was a hot June day, plenty of wet areas to cool down but they are a bit manic so need to supervise young ones Bought our tickets in advance, and walked right in Food was responsibly priced, and the pizza I had was really good!

Nice place for younger children that want to experience rides. However, we were bit disappointed about Thomas the train been on service on that day so we couldn't experience it. We were waiting for it and after asking to one of the staff members we discovered that wasn't operating. Was a quite day so we didn't experience any queue. I don' t think is worth waiting 45min or more for a ride on peak season. Overall was a nice experience, my son had so much fun and had the possibility to experience different rides that he never tried before

Definitely interesting if you have kids and a spare day near Milan, though underwhelming if you’ve been to other parcs in Europe/US. It’s really geared to young kids, teenagers and up would quickly get bored. The parc itself is small but spacious, and clean. The only downside is the access roads; whover design the last couple of kms of entrance to the olace must have truly hated the parc (or people in general). Expect to waste about 30’ sitting in the car from the moment you see the entrance sign at a distance till you actually cross it

Unfortunately they have beit's becoming a place where the crowds exceed the livability just to pursuit profit. The ambience is actually well done and plenty of services. But you'll easily spend more time queuing (average 20 mins) instead of enjoying carousel.

We loved it.. very nice place and good for toddlers.. the rides start for children from the length of 90cm and there are many for that age.. there is an aquario and rettilario which made it more interesting.. there is a mini Italia and it very nice too..

Prehistory park of over 100 hectares of forest which features 30 reconstructions of prehistoric animals (including prehistoric men), about a hundred animals in semi-freedom, a botanical itinerary with marked plants, natural environments (such as: a marsh, meadows, lakes, etc.), areas equipped for picnic, bars, playgrounds, a labyrinth, fossil exhibits, etc., all along a shaded path.

Nice place for families. The park is an interesting experience if you have children. The tickets are not cheap and I would expect dinosaurs reproductions bigger than that.

Had a great day 4 hours walking around seeing all the dinosaurs and the live animals. Visited both bars, very friendly staff. Myself, my wife and our dog enjoyed ourselves.

This park is lovely for a long Spring walk with young kids, especially if they are dinosaurs crazy. The reproductions are good (although not perfect) and they are well spaced out. The bar served good food (although mainly fried) and the service is very fast. The playground is nice and has plenty of benches for the tired parents to sit on. The entry price is a little steep for the local market and it's a shame it does NOT include a ride on the little road train. Foreign families would not find this price that high. Finally, the maze is simple but great for younger children, who will not get lost even if they enter on their own. A nice addition.

Great for a day outside with kids! Nice park, farm animals and dinosaurs make a great combination. I must have been there 15 times, since I was 6 and everytime it's a magical experience.

Good park, the dinosaurus are skatered on a very large a surface, too much walking between dinosaurus... Nice park, but i wouldn't visit it the second time.

Beautiful recovery of this castle by a private owner. 2 guided tours for medieval and baroque (in Italian only I think), 75 minutes by tour: better put a lunch break in between. The guides are fantastic and provide a very exhaustive explanation of the castle history. Worth the visit.

One of the most beautiful visitable caste in this area! Inside a green park, with planned golf park, you can visit a lot of beautiful place, with a low fee. If you have a couple of hours to spend during a sundat morning I strongly suggest a visit here!

Nothing special. Private property, cannot go anywhere

An hour drive from MIlano for nothing, as we could not enter with our dog, as only small dogs are allowed. This vital piece of information is missing on the Castel's site and is not mentioned anywhere else. Shame, as small dogs are often much noisier and much worse behaving, than friendly and well trained bigger dogs. A policy in need of re-thinking or a statement on the site is due.

Great location , well kept and with an incredible history. Alessandro (the owner) is very passionate about this property and he is always looking for ways to enhance the castle and to satisfy his customers with tailor made solutions.

Huge park, great for cycling waking etc. It's so big it has the monza F1 track, a farm, a golf course and loads and loads of space to spare.

I love meandering through this park and watching the sunset by the fountain in front of Palazzo Reale. Lingering is a priority here! We stumbled on a Beer/Food Truck festival on the last visit ... which was fun! they had trucks reprenting almost every type of cuisine in the world.

Incredibly huge park. The racing circuit part is very big alone, but the rest is big as well. Suitable for sports activities of many kinds. They even have running tracks for several lengths. Prep for many kms walk or better, ride. There was a huge storm in July 23 that massacred the racing track surrounding. Over 10 000 trees fell down.

Big beautiful park of the royal palace. 🌳🪵🍃 We spent not one but two days walking around and feeding the squirrels. 🥜🐿️ There are so many. 😍 There is a lake, with plenty of fish 🐟 and ducks 🦆 The tower looks cool. You really have plenty of options how to enjoy this place. ☺️

Went for the F1, loved it. Such a historical track. We stayed just outside Milan, and used the shuttle service, which for only 10 euro is amazing value for money. The food on offer was decent and well priced. The toilets were very clean and were constantly cleaned though the day. The race on Sunday was not that exciting, but it doesn't matter as it was about the experience, and I have to admit standing in the grandstand, when they Italian anthem was being sung was amazing.

The Monza F1 Circuit, set in beautiful wooded parkland, is truly something special — the atmosphere, the speed, and the sound are unforgettable. Even better, entry was completely free all weekend, with great access to most of the stands — including Friday practice, which is quite rare. It was amazing to experience the fastest Formula 1 circuit up close, surrounded by passionate fans and stunning scenery. We stayed at a fantastic Airbnb just 100 yards from the entrance, which made the whole trip super convenient. Highly recommend this spot if you’re planning a visit. Already can’t wait to go back next year! 🏎️💨

The Temple of Speed. There are no words that do a visit to this track justice. Affordable parking, free paddock entry for many race weekends throughout the year. The roar of the engines. Getting up close and personal with the teams. You can feel the pulse of motorsport in your veins.

Amazing track to see F1. Worth the money to buy seats. Crazy event. It's possible to get a good view with general admission but you must be at the track first thing every morning. The selected seats are the way to go. Lots of great people there too. All very friendly

It took soooooooooo long to walk from the parking lot, even the closest one. There’s no shuttle. It’s probably a close a mile away. Lots of local Italian exciting fans. I don’t like how they set up the seating, fan zone, food, games, music, shops, walking paths, outdated bathrooms, etc. This track is spacious for the drivers, but nothing special for the viewers. I won’t return here though we love F1. I suppose you can helicopter in, that would be better????

Buy your tickets as soon as they are released which is 1 yr before and only buy from official ticket stores. Pick your parking & gates wisely & be ready for a lot of walking. Try and arrive at least 2hrs before the event you’re interested in.

Great place to have fun as a family friend or car lovers. On the outside great park to have a nice picnic, chit chat or coffe. Excellent place to do sports such as cycling or running around the circuit in the green park.

Mediocre experience inside. The library without books, the rooms with almost not furniture, in lack of the latest the upper flow is filled with modern art that fills completely out of place with few exceptions. Some of the photos here on Google were a bit outdated or misleading for our visit. At the same time, with noticing that you only pay 10 EUR for the entry ticket, so you don’t loose much. During our visit, the English tour wasn’t an available option, while the Italian one included in the ticket price.

The entrance ticket costs €10 and includes a guided tour. What’s special is that instead of just one guide, there are 4 guides located in different rooms of the Villa, each explaining the history, architecture, and details of the palace. When I visited, the explanations were only in Italian (not sure if tours are also available in other languages, maybe depending on the day or group). The tour of the Villa Reale itself takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. If you also want to explore the exhibition about the Second World War and the second floor with additional rooms showcasing modern art, then plan for around 2 hours in total. Booking your timeslot online is recommended on weekends. To explore the park around the building a bicycle is advised.

Villa Reale in Monza is a lovely spot for relaxing, picnicking, or jogging surrounded by nature. It's spacious, peaceful, and great for families—kids especially love watching the many squirrels running around 😀

Gorgeous villa in Monza! The interior apartments and rooms that you can tour on the first and second floors are insanely beautiful - even better than Versailles. Our tour guide Salvatore was the absolute best and we learned a lot about the history behind the decoration of the rooms, the family, and the furniture! Unfortunately we did not have enough time planned but will absolutely be back next time we’re in Monza. :)

A very nice place to walk around and admire, it has a huge garden. A cafe on ground floor with seating inside and outside. I wouldn't go out my way to visit unless you are already in Monza.

Such a nice place to relax. Has a huge garden I mean it’s really huge. I felt like I was in old fantasy movie. I mean inside the garden whole world going to forget and you are in another world. Front of the villa it’s looks like Landon palace. I was able to get beautiful pictures and get a relax time. I went there in a weekday, there wasn’t crowded at all so I enjoyed it really well. I didn’t walk lot I just stayed near the villa. And I don’t have any idea about inside the villa because I didn’t go there but according to pictures that I saw, I think as the garden inside is beautiful. You should visit that place if you’re in Milano o Monza.

It’s a very beautiful garden right on the lake. I don’t mind paying 10€ just to walk through the park because it does take some work to maintain the garden. It’s a nice place, there’s a museum too. However you cannot enter the main villa and it’s just not that amazing overall. It’s still a great place to be away from the touristy centro of Bellagio

Beautiful place for a 45-60 minute walk, to have the full experience. Nice walking paths along the garden with various plants and trees. All this goes along the Como lake waterfront.

Opening hours are daily 10 am to 6:30 pm. The gardens are closed in the winter time. In 2025 it will close on Oct 31st and will reopen in March 2026. Cost is 10€ you buy tickets at the gates. 2 gates entry one on each side. Located in the town of Bellagio on lake como. Parking is limited as the town of Bellagio is very popular in the summer.

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and so well cared for. Everywhere you look, there’s beautiful greenery and an incredible variety of trees. It’s such a peaceful, stunning place to walk through. If you’re visiting Bellagio, this is a must see. I highly recommend making time for a visit.

Villa Melzi is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The gardens are immaculate, peaceful, and filled with stunning colors, especially in spring. Every path reveals something new—ancient trees, vibrant flowers, classical statues, and breathtaking views of the lake. The atmosphere is serene and elegant, perfect for a relaxing stroll or quiet reflection. The neoclassical villa adds a timeless charm, and the small museum and chapel offer fascinating historical insight. The combination of nature, art, and history is truly unique. It felt like walking through a living painting.

Nice museum with several exhibits. Also has gorgeous views of lake como. There is also a restaurant to grab some lunch. It was not crowded when we visited also there was no line to buy tickets. Worthwhile visiting the villa.

An absolute architectural, botanical and historical marvel of the last 500 years. The grounds of the villa are absolutely gorgeous - fountains sculptures, and perfectly manicured floral heaven. The garden is truly remarkable with how much variety of plants there are and also the way it's been maintained. For the building itself, nothing short of extraordinary - the design and architecture is impressive. There is so much history and craftsmanship behind this place.

Inside and out Villa Carlotta was a joy to visit. We loved the art work inside the villa. Be sure o look up as many of the rooms are adorned with frescos and or reliefs. The grounds are a botanical wonder with species brought in from around the world.

Must see! Great place to visit, beatiful inside, many sculpture, paintings few rooms with furniture with very great conditions. Amaizing garden around, it takes 2-3 hours to visit and see all villa and garden. Beautyful view from balcony for Como lake.

Beautiful villa with stunning lake views and lush gardens. The inside has some impressive art and sculptures, but the real highlight is walking through the gardens, peaceful and scenic, a perfect spot to slow down and take in the beauty of Lake Como.

Lovely visit especially enjoyed the extensive gardens, agricultural history and interactive commentary in our language about basement life at the Villa. Reasonable €15 entrance (€13 for over 65s) Luggage lockers were helpful. Bistro service for 2 hot drinks was slow on the day(20/8/25) as they seemed short-staffed.

A beautiful estate with a fascinating walk to and from the site. Definitely touristy but absolutely worth the visit. Be aware: Google’s “mostly flat” description is misleading—you’ll need to tackle some uphill sections, so bring good shoes.

Very beautiful and pristine villa. Everything is very manicured and clean. It is about a 2km walk from the Leno ferry terminal. Definitely some gradients so wear comfortable shoes. This villa is home to famous scenes in Star Wars and also James Bond Casino Royale.

Such an incredible place to visit if you are going to Lago di Como, I would suggest buying the tickets in advance so you can skip the wait, bring comfortable shoes, I wouldn’t recommend heels or anything like that if you do want to enjoy the most hidden places here. Very clean, it takes about 2-3 hours so see and enjoy most of the villa! Is a must!

One word – magnificent. I recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid waiting. We arrived at 10 a.m. and waited about 20 minutes in line. The villa opens at 10:00 a.m. They allow only a limited number of visitors inside, which is great because it’s not overcrowded. The ticket costs €14.

To reach it, you have to walk about 750-800 meters after parking your car, but believe me, it's worth it 👍I think if you came to visit Lake Como, you should definitely see this place, the entrance fee is 13€ per person, very well preserved, Italian architectural features and the magnificent Como atmosphere, wonderful 👍

Famous from Hollywood-movies this gorgeous villa and surrounding gardens are a must visit when visiting Lake Como. We took the guides tour inside the Villa which was very fascinating. It was very hot and crowded in gardens however, so would recommend to visit off-season and make sure to buy your tickets in advance.
