Shikari Mata Temple is a peaceful and scenic place located at about 3,332 meters in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. It can be reached by road with mesmerising views of entire janjheli & shikari valley . From the parking area, you need to do a short uphill hike of about 10–15 minutes to reach the temple. The place is surrounded by green meadows, forests and amazing mountain views. It’s not just a spiritual spot but also great for nature lovers. A perfect mix of beauty, calmness and a bit of adventure. Highly recommend!

Shikari Mata Temple sits atop on peak -about 3,359 m above sea level. High altitude: steep climb, over 500–600 stone steps. It’s a roofless temple dedicated to the goddess of hunters, Shikari Devi. It is said to be built by the Pandavas during their exile, the temple’s mythology stretches back to the mahabharat. Local devotees said, Despite a roofless shrine, the temple always remains snow-free, even during heavy winter snowfall—while the surrounding peaks are blanketed.

Located at an altitude of approximately 3,200 meters, Shikari Mata Temple is one of the holiest and most spiritually uplifting places in the Mandi district. Nestled amidst the majestic mountains, it’s not only a revered shrine but also the highest peak in Mandi. The temple holds ancient significance, dating back to the era of the Pandavas. I’ve had the blessing of visiting this sacred place multiple times, and each visit has been a deeply energizing experience. The environment is pure and powerful—filled with positivity, peace, and the divine presence of Shikari Mata Ji. You can truly feel the spiritual energy in the air. One of the most memorable visits was when we trekked to the temple from Devidarh village. It’s a beautiful and challenging 9–10 km trek through a dense, serene forest. It took us around four and a half hours to reach the top, and every step felt like a pilgrimage in itself—soothing the soul and connecting us with nature and divinity. In 2025, I had the fortune of visiting again with my family to seek blessings from Mata Ji. From 2018 to 2025, many things had changed, including the stairway leading to the temple, but the peace and divine energy remained as strong as ever. Jai Mata di🙏🏻🙏🏻

If someone plans to visit, please make sure to visit between the months of July and October. We visited in the month of April and were very sad to see fallen apple trees. Still the people show a full of apples garden and charge a lot of money which is not at all worth it. There are only 2 ways to visit this place. One is a horse ride and the other is a 4X4 vehicle drive. People here charge Rs.1500 for horse ride per head and Rs.2000 for vehicle drive. This package includes 6 adventure rides and 6 places to see. To be Frank, no one will be able to do all the 6 rides and visit all the 6 places. Additionally, once you enter inside, you will be forced to opt for an ATV ride for about 1.5 km which is again Rs.500. Spending money is not a deal but trust me the money that you're gonna spend here is not at all worth it. A kind note that your outfit will definitely become muddy by the time you come out. It's really beneficial to carry a mask with you since this place is full of mud.

Worth exploring locals are so humble and polite selling food and drinks on top of hill with a nominal pricing. Activities are horse riding, yak photo shoot, Gypsy or 4X4 car ride on top, and other adventure activities. Also must try telescopic views activity there.

Kufri: 1. Gypsy Ride: ₹6,000 for 4 people (3rd week of april 25) seems not reasonable, also the ₹50/person environmental charge wasn't reflected in the cleanliness. Areas for Improvement 1. Cleanliness: Despite the environmental/cleanliness charge, the area didn't seem clean. 2. Crowds: Rides were overcrowded, which might detract from the experience. Recommendations 1. Gypsy Off-Roading: Although pricey (₹1500/person), it's a unique experience worth considering. 2. Alternative Options: For smaller adventures, other options might be more suitable.

Rewalsar Lake is calm, beautiful, and a great place to just sit, chill, and stare into the distance like you’re solving the mysteries of life. The view is lovely, the breeze is nice… but let’s be honest — there’s not a whole lot to “do” here. And before you get any bright ideas — don’t feed the fish. Unless you’re carrying ₹5000 just for the fine. The fish look hungry, but the rules are stricter than school exams. There are some snack stalls nearby and a few places to try Tibetan food, which is actually pretty good and worth a bite. Overall: Great place to relax, click some peaceful pics, and enjoy the lake view — just don’t expect too much action. Come here when your soul needs a break, not when you’re craving an itinerary.

Rewalsar Lake is a serene and spiritual spot surrounded by three beautiful monasteries, a Gurudwara, and a small temple. The calm atmosphere is perfect for reflection—though the temple’s loud music at times disturbs the otherwise peaceful setting.

It is located around 18-20 kms away from Ner Chowk. The road to reach there is narrow, and being widened at the very end. The whole town is located around the Lake. The lake is sacred amongst Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists. There’s a monastery, a Shiva temple and a Gurudwara around the lake. The lake is beautiful and it has lot of fish inside it. The garden needs a bit of maintenance and cleaning. There’s a car parking inside the lake premises.

Jakhu Temple (also Jakhoo Temple) is an ancient temple in Shimla,Himachal Pradesh, India, dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Hanuman. A giant 108-feet-high idol of Hanuman was unveiled at Jakhu Hanuman temple on 4 November 2010. The temple is accessible by foot, horse, taxi or ropeway. The Jakhu Ropeway is an aerial lift that links a point near the centre of Shimla to the temple. It was developed by Jagson International Limited and opened in 2017.

Very beautiful temple of God Hanuman. Temple itself is very beautiful. I would recommend to visit it early morning to get less crowd and good pictures. This temple is on top of mountain. Be careful these wild monkeys may snatch your mobile or caps.

Points to be noted 1. Please be aware of cabs for visiting temple. 2. Rates can be negotiated 3. Path is very odd hence ropeway and cabs are the only way to visit. 4. Cabs for temple are far away from mall road. Hence it is suggested not to take senior citizens and people having knee problems. 5. Once cabs drops you near temple there are stairs followed by escalator. 6. 20 rupees per person is the rate for 2 escalators which takes you to temple. Or one can go by stairs.

Visited Jakhu Temple in Shimla for Hanuman Ji’s darshan. We took a private van from the Clock Tower for ₹300 (up & down for two people), though there’s also an HRTC bus available for around ₹30 which comes every 30–50 minutes. There are a lot of monkeys around; they’re not harmful but you need to be careful with your belongings. Standing below the huge Hanuman statue and offering prayers felt truly divine and peaceful. A must-visit spot for a calm spiritual experience.”

The Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) is a research institute in Shimla, housed in the former Viceregal Lodge, a must visit Historical place..built between 1884 and 1888 as the summer residence for the Viceroy of India. After India's independence, the lodge was renamed Rashtrapati Niwas (President's House). Loads of jaw dropping advanced features built e.g. Concealed Electrical wiring, advanced Fire fighting system, 200 years old working pendulum, walnut interiors. etc... Its amazing..!! It also contains rare archives, If you are visiting Shimla and keep interest in History...a must must visit. PS - Photography inside the building is prohibited.

The moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by extraordinary architecture, intricate woodwork, and an atmosphere that reflects the grandeur of the British era. The building itself is absolutely stunning — every corridor, staircase, and room tells a story of its own. The lush gardens outside and the panoramic views from the hilltop add even more charm to the visit. We took the guided tour, which was informative and helped us understand the historical significance of each section of the lodge. However, I personally felt that the tour was a bit rushed. Even though the guide mentioned that we could take our time, we were quickly moved from one room to another. I would have loved to pause longer and really soak in the details — the furniture, the photos, and the artifacts that make this place so special. Despite that, it’s a must-visit attraction in Shimla. The architecture alone makes it worth the trip, and if you’re someone who appreciates history, art, or old-world charm, you’ll definitely enjoy it here. I’d recommend visiting early in the day to truly take in its beauty and peaceful surroundings.

Vicergal lodge named as 13 British viceroys used this placec as residence and used as their capital for 8months every year as summer capital. Draft of partition of India was discussed here. Dr S Radhakrishnan converted this to educational institute IIAS, now offers advanced studies in social science and humanities. British era history involved in this building. 137 years old now. But sad to see poor maintenance and upkeep of structure inspite of hefty entry fee to stay 30 mins inside the building as guided tour.

Situated at 2.5 kms from Shimla railway station, this used to the de-facto power base in India during the British times for 8 months. The first building in Shimla to get electricity, it also saw time as Independent India's first President House for around a decade. Guided tours are available but too many people are stuffed in them and one can't properly appreciate the amount of history (usually in form of images and lettering). A proper way would be to let people go in and browse at their own leisure. Alas, one can't have that. Only the ground floor is accessible (4 odd rooms) to public. There is a lawn and small garden outside as well.

The vibrant colors and intricate details are breathtaking, especially when the light streams through them. It's the kind of artistry that makes you want to sit and contemplate for a while. A unique and touching part of the visit was the opportunity to buy candles for prayer. You simply sit inside the church, and a caretaker comes around to offer candles. There's something deeply personal and humbling about lighting a candle in such a historic and spiritual space. It’s a simple act that adds a layer of personal reflection to the visit. The overall feeling is one of tranquility and calm. It’s a place to escape the hustle and bustle, to find a moment of peace, and to appreciate the history and architecture. The Christ Church Kasauli situated close to the bus stand, was constructed by the the British family who founded the town of Kasauli itself. The church is a magnificent structure built in the shape of a cross. Set amidst a grove of chestnut and fir trees, the church offers quiet and tranquil atmosphere. Earlier the church was known by the name of Anglican Church. In the year 1970, the church was brought under the aegis of the CNI (Churches of North India). It is currently managed by the diocese of Amritsar. The Christ Church is the prime building in the centre of the heritage area of Kasauli town and as one enters the main town, this is the first building which comes to view. This church was previously an Anglican church and was founded in the year 1844,😇🙏

A very beautiful church built in 1800s by the Britishers. Marvellous architecture, very similar to other churches established by the Britishers in various hill stations across India. The church is open from morning till a little post sunset. The church has guards ensuring one doesn't litter it and create nuisance. There is a washroom and parking nearby. The church is very close to the basement parking at kasauli i.e. the moment you enter the hill station fee barrier. A must go, once you are here.

Nice point to view nature and deep valley , must go ahead till the end, there is a rain shelter, go further behind it and see the magic, although rainy days are best to see but if you're before peak afternoon you can still enjoy the pleasant views

I recently visited Gilbert Trail with a group of six friends, and it was such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share. From the moment we arrived, the serene atmosphere provided a perfect escape from the city's hustle. The trail itself is impeccably maintained—wide, clean, and paved, making it easy for all seven of us to walk side-by-side without any trouble. We spent the entire time chatting and laughing while enjoying the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and lush landscape. The peaceful sounds of nature and the shade from the trees created a truly tranquil backdrop for our catch-up session. What we appreciated most was how the trail caters to everyone. Whether you're looking for a vigorous walk or a leisurely stroll, the flat terrain is accessible and enjoyable. We noticed many families, joggers, and other small groups, all sharing the space respectfully. There are also plenty of benches along the way, which was great for when we wanted to pause, sit together, and just soak in the natural beauty. It was the ideal blend of light exercise, beautiful scenery, and quality time with friends. I cannot recommend Gilbert Trail enough for anyone looking to spend a refreshing few hours outdoors. We left feeling rejuvenated and are already planning our next visit

Everything A grade, only to reach there especially for elderly is bit difficult.As vehicles are not allowed and got to walk steep road for 4 to 5 km is difficult . Govt should start e rickshaws for public.

This is the highest point of Kasauli. Took a cab all the way up to the air force sub station. From there it was a 30 min climb (would have been much faster if I was alone). It is just a lot of stairs but they are nicely paved and well maintained. Senior citizens and even 70+ year olds also come up if they take a lot of rest in between (there are places to sit and rest). The temple at the top has a peaceful vibe. There are monkeys here and you'll be instructed to not carry food in your hand. If you have the "prasadam" from the temple, carry them in your pockets. This is also known as the Monkey point or Manki point. Our cab driver told us "Manki" is not a spelling error but refers to the hindi word "mann ki" (something related to heart/soul) but not sure about it's authenticity. The main downside of visiting this place is that it is close to the air force station and all electronic devices are prohibited - meaning no photography at all. Most of the pics you see here on this pin are actually from different places in Kasauli (added erroneously ...smh). Some pictures of the temple can be taken from a km away from the Gilbert Trail if you zoom in. There is a paid locker where you submit your bags and devices and go for the hike.

Temple is located at 6500 feets. 300 steps to climb. Only taxis are allowed from Mall Road Car Parking or you trek for an hour. Mountain views are awesome. It is believed that during Lord Hanumans flight from himalayas bringing Sanjeevani booti his left foot was rested on this hill and hence the importance of this place. Mobiles, photography etc strictly prohibited 🚫 in this area.

Its a beautiful temple located on mountain top of kasauli. The visiting time is till 4pm all around the year and 1-2 is lunch time. There is no Entry fee. Taxi service is available from mall road to manki point for 200-250 rupees per person but I would highly recommend to cover the beautiful trail on foot as you get to enjoy the beautiful path. Its is hardly 3-4 kms and an easy trail. If you are lucky enough you get to see the valley covered with beautiful flowers specially during monsoon (mid July- September end). Or you can choose the small path going via sunset point which connects to manki point in between and is about 1-1.5kms and slightly steep. Phones, smart watches and bags are not allowed inside the temple area as it is a Cantt area and you can submit your belongings by paying some charges. Carry cash as you will be needing it for buying food/water inside the temple premises. After entering the cantt area, temple is half kilometer on top with 282 stairs. You can enjoy the view from top. Beware of monkeys if carrying food items.

the Sanjeevani Hanuman Temple is a must visit place in kasauli. Located atop a mountain, the temple is accessible only by foot. Be aware that it's situated within an Air Force station, meaning no mobile phones or electronic devices are allowed inside. A paid locker facility is available to store your belongings before you proceed. Security checks are mandatory before entering the temple area. Please note that many Google Maps photos for this location are inaccurate due to the no-phone policy; they often depict other Kasauli locations. Despite these restrictions, the temple itself has a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere and is definitely worth the trek. One important tip: monkeys are abundant, so don't carry food items or other stuff in your hànd and it's advisable to visit in a group.

Amazing experience, slightly tiring as you have to climb your way and it’s steep. You get a beautiful view of Kasauli from the top, as it’s the highest point there and certainly hold high religious value and gives peace. A must visit place, if you are in Kasauli. No entry fee, no electronic gadget or cameras allowed but they have a paid counter to deposit your belongings safely.

It is in Bhakra Village in Bilaspur district, Himachal Pradesh (India) It is the highest gravity dam in Asia. The dam forms the Gobind Sagar reservoir. To visit the dam you need to get a pass and register your entry. We went there on Sunday and there was no crowd at all. We had seen the dam from outside because we didn't have visiting passes. You can also visit a few popular temples near the place.

A big and spectacular dam. Ysu can drive beside the dam and see it's beauty, If want to go on the top of the dam then you need to take permission from the local authorities to visit. Photography is not allowed at the Dam but from distant you can take beautiful pictures of the dam, Like I have done. A devine place Nainadevi is also around 20 km from there.

The dam is spectacular. You need to take permits from the local authorities to visit. There is an office at the checkpoint for the same. Also, while the signboard are displayed on the route, it is somewhat tricky to find the correct route. It is better to confirm with the locals on major turns. Photography is not allowed at the Dam but there are a few locations before and after where beautiful pictures of the dam facade and the reservoir can be clicked. If you are also visiting Nainadevi (20 km / 30-35 minutes from there), it is better to start at the temple and view the dam on the way back as the time needed for the dam is not too much.

There are boating point in this area, but you have to drive for like 6 KM more to reach boating point. Don’t pay extra for boating. Private boats ask for like 600 to 800 per boat. The Virasat-e-Khalsa restaurant on-site serves simple yet delicious food at very reasonable prices. Very well designed, immersive galleries, informs about Sikhism in detailed narrative, impressive supporting visual narration. Iconic architecture by Moshe Safde and brilliant exhibits by NID. Ticketing could be improved, galleries could have more descriptions for further reference, sound from adjacent galleries distract.

Only if you download the app and use headphone. --- It has a beautiful architecture but more than that Art Work inside, displaying whole history of Sikhi starting from its inception to 1948. Everything so beautifully designed, executed various pavilions, it is totally mesmerising. Artist put so much effort to connect all dots well. But sadly, lighting design is upto 5% thus absolutely flawed. Very first three story pavillion has day & night theme depicting 24 hours life in Punjab from rural to urban, from shop to home to all religious places but time for night is longer than the day thus you are unable to see the beauty and hard work out by artist/s and from behind guards keeps whistling, insisting you to keep moving (though it was not crowded at all!!)!! And this fault in lighting design is everywhere, less or more, you can't even read some display texts!! Ita worth visiting multiple times. Required time duration to complete it - 3-4 hours. Toilets - lavish and clean. Timing -1000 to 1630 (Monday Closed). Timing must be recieved, must be open ar 0900.

This museum represents the rich history of Sikhism. Architecture, paintings and arts... everything is wonderful... i visited this place in the month of dec 24 note- it's opening and closing timings are different in summer and winter.

It's a wonderful place, truly fitted to it's earned name the 8th wonder of india. The only limitation is that no photography allowed inside but that too is Ok considering it would increase the crowd

Awesome place to visit. It is holy place that is so beautiful. We need to take out our footwear before entering the holy temple. We need not to worry about where to leave our footwear as we have a free footwear collection stalls where they keep safe our footwear and give us the token to get them back after we return from the temple. Qila Anandgarh (Fort of Bliss) - Gurdwara Qila Anandgarh Sahib is situated in the middle of the town of Anandpur Sahib. It is a newly constructed building though marks of the old, original structure are also still traceable. It was the strongest on the five forts. No parking issue Free food for everyone and every time Well maintained and safe for everyone I recommendation is Must visit

One of the 5 forts built by Guru Gobind Singh ji. The gurudwara premises has two more gurudwaras. 1. Gurudwara boali sahib 2. Gurudwara Tapp Asthan (where Bhai Jaita ji brought the sacred Head of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and gave it to Guru Gobind Singh ji and guru ji said "Rangrete Guru ke bete") Also , there are historical stairs from which Guru and family left Anandpur sahib after the Mughals and hills rajas conspiracy.

Gurudwara Shri Qila Anandgarh Sahib is situated in the middle of the town of Shri Anandpur Sahib. This is one from five Kilas (forts) built by Guru Gobind Singh for the protection of Sikhs and other residents from the Mughals and the Hill rulers. In Gurdwara Sahib there is also a sacred Baoli sahib. It is situated in the south east side of Gurdwara Sri Takhat Kesgarh Sahib.

Main fort of anandpur sahib just near the takhat keshgarh sahib and virasat-e-khalsa. Small wall of fort is still preserved. It is also having one bauli having 132 stairs. Old 84 stairs to reach fort is still there on the back side of gurudwara sahib. Fort build by guru gobind singh ji maharaj to keep an eye on intruders.

This man-made lake, built in 1958 by Le Corbusier’s team, is a serene spot with calm waters reflecting the Shivalik hills. The early morning vibe was magical—cool air, chirping birds, and a stunning sunrise painting the sky. The walking path was perfect for a peaceful stroll, and I loved watching locals jogging and practicing yoga. The nearby café served tasty snacks, adding to the charm. However, some areas had litter, which slightly detracted from the beauty. Also, more benches would’ve been nice for resting. Despite these, Sukhna Lake’s tranquility and scenic views make it a lovely spot to start the day in Chandigarh.

While the garden is beautiful and well maintained; it feels very mechanical, just made for the sake of the city because the city is like the cities abroad. Garden is big and if you want to spend some peaceful time, then only you should visit.

Rose is one of the best attractions in Chandigarh. If you like roses and greenery you must visit this place. Although Chandigarh is very green but this place an its own vibe.

We went in November but there were almost no Rose's flowering. So better visit in February. But very nice garden to sit and relax.

It is a very nice and big garden where you can easily spend 2 to 3 hours. Childrens play area are also there. There are lots of varities of roses from all over the world. You can scan their QR code and know more information about them. Better to visit in winters as roses are more blossoms in that season.

For the Haryana ADO exam, my center was Govt Model High School, Sector 25, Block B, Chandigarh. It is located around 8-10 Km from Chandigarh railway station. Outside the exam center, on the notice board, the roll number and sitting arrangement were displayed. Inside the gate, a security check-up was done. They have the facilities for submitting mobiles, bags etc. free of cost. But, they have asked us to remove all the threads, religious threads from our hands (but it was not written on the admit card). Anyway, they have guided us along the route to our respective classroom. Drinking water and bathroom facilities are available. On the black board, the sitting arrangement, date, center details etc. are mentioned. Sir checked our admit card and identity proof. They have distributed question papers with a slight delay of 5 minutes (They have provided an extra 5 minutes for the exam for this reason). The exam was conducted properly without any disturbance. Overall, this center was good. Thank You! 🙏

Panjab University is one of the best university in the north India. I am doing Masters in Computer Applications from this university. University life is really good. University conducts many events especially in February- March. This university is ranked in world ranked universities also. Really grateful to be a part of this university. This university is my dream university and studying here is like dream came true. If you get chance to get admission here, just go for it. It is better than any private university, teachers are really good.

You can enjoy delicious yummy food like cheese Naan gravy, Chinese platter, at very reasonable price like 50 to 70rs. It is pleasure doing gossips with friends while sipping Masala tea in lush green garden. Don't miss the food it's is highly delicious. It is a best ever university in India 🇮🇳, it is known not only for its well planned infrastructural design of buildings and quality of education but also for its lifestyle and day to day life, which particular can be witnessed at Students Centre- a round shaped circular building housing various shops, eatery stalls for students… There are many shops and eating points here at Student centre, I always love to eat and have cup of coffee or tea here. One can have meal, fast foods like grilled sandwiches 🥪, burgers 🍔, pasta 🍝, spring roll, momos, salad 🥗, juice 🥤, shakes, snacks and many other eatable items at affordable price. I also used to have pasta and coffee ☕️… love this place

Peaceful place Gurudwara sahib, langar seva 24 hours open for all, limited accommodation available for people at best price.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji came to this place 4 times. After winning the Battle of Bhangani on his way back to Anandpur Sahib, via Gurdwara Sri Baoli Sahib Dhakauli and Gurdwara Sri Nadha Sahib Panchkula, Guru Gobind Singh arrived here. At the time a bhatha (kiln) was situated. It was burning at full capacity. Guru Ji asked the bhatha labourers about a place he could rest. Knowingly or unknowningly the labourers pointed towards the bhatha. Guru Ji directed his horse (Neela) to step on the extremely hot kiln. At once the bhatha cooled down and Guru Ji's horse hoof left a mark (a hoof print which can be seen at the Gurdwara). One of the labourers informed Chaudhary Nihang Khan, the owner of the bhatha, who was in his Qila at the time. He rushed to the bhatha and to his astonishment saw Guru Gobind Singh sitting on the bhatha. Chaudhary bowed his head in front of the Guru and asked for a pardon. Chaudhary then took Guru Ji to his fort. On the following day, Guru Gobind Singh and his Singhs proceeded to Anandpur. During Guru Gobind Singh's second visit, Guru Ji came to this place for the engagement of Alam Khan, Chaudary Nihang Khan's son. On Guru Gobind Singh's return from Kurukshetra, Guru Ji stopped here for his third visit. After Guru Gobind Singh left Anandpur for the final time, Guru stopped here for his forth and final visit. He asked Nihang Khan to look after Bhai Bachittar Singh as Bhai Ji had been mortally wounded. As a huge mughal force was chasing Guru Ji, he left. But before leaving, Guru Ji provided Nihang Khan with a Sri Sahib, a katar and a shield. The items can be viewed at the Gurdwara and Bhai Bachittar Singh's shastaars can be viewed at Gurdwara Sri Shaheed Ganj Bhai Bachittar Singh in Kotla Nihang, Ropar. Prakash Diwas of 1st, 5th and 10th Patshahi, Sangrand with Amrit Sanchar, Jor Mela from 1st Poh to 4th Poh and the anniversary of Baba Jiwan Singh Ji on 11th are organised here.

Gurudwara Sahib is situated in the village Kotla Nihang on the bank of the Sutlej river.3 km Rupnagar railway station.Guru Gobind Singh ji came here winning the battle of Bhangani.when Guru ji asked for a place to stay and rest,The labour working at the bhatta kiln,the pointed towards hot brick kiln(bhatta).ignorant labourers did not realised whom they were talking too.As soon as the horse of Guru ji stepped in the burning kiln it became cold.Chaudhary nihang khan the owner of the bhatta was informed about the incident,when he came there he saw Guru ji sitting on the bhatta.Chaudhary bowed his head in front of Guru ji and asked for pardon.A fair is held here on 11 bhadon (August) on the death anniversary of baba jivan singh ,besides a fair is held here on 2-4 poh (December) when large numbers of people visit the gurudwara.

Gurdwara Bhatha Sahib is situated in road city and it's holy place for Sikhs . Guru Gobind Singh Ji (tenth Sikh guru) came here. There is an mark on rock of guru ji' s horse .Gurudwara Bhatta Sahib is place to visit on way to manali from delhi, after kurali it come on left side of road, you can take break in this place , have langer and tea, its nice place. It is historical place.

This place is worship place of Sikh community. This is a historical Gurudwara on the memories of Guru Teg Gobind Singh ji(10th Guru Sahib of sikh community). Here you can see the memories of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Neela Ghoda. This is very neat and clean place managed by SGPC. Here you find restrooms also. This is located on road at Rupnagar, Punjab. This place is open for all, belonging from different communities. There is free food for every on as 'Langar'. A huge parking area, free parking. Quite peaceful and calm place.

The whole place comprises of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji's home and museum. It is so clean and so well maintained. Often seems like a casual yet cozy place. Look for the weather and national holidays though.

We can learn here about all major events of Bhagat Singh Ji's life via audio visual aids and portraits/pictures. A lot of hand written material and other belongings related to Bhagat Singh Ji are kept here nicely. A must visit place with children. Well maintained and managed Memorial with NO ENTRY FEES. Open all days except Monday and Gazetted holidays.

S. Bhagat Singh museum is in Khatkar Kalan, in District Nawanshahar. There you can see lot of his belongings being displayed in the museum. Kids should be taken along to check out the museum so they know about the life of S. Bhagat Singh. Also a short movie being played every time. Near to this a S. Bhagat Singh's Ancestral house which is also well maintained by the Punjab government 🙂

Hardys world is one of the oldest and well maintained water park in the region. Lots of dry and water rides, eating options and secure environment is what sets it apart from other water parks. Spacious changing rooms with Lockers, bathrooms and toilets are available most of the time. Staff is very helpful and humble. Easy to reach as its on the main Highway! Had super fun here!!

Beautiful, humbling place. There was so much to experience from the Golden temple to the jora service to the langar service to the gold sewa workshop. The museums on-site are also there to serve as a reminder of the resilience that Sikhs have had to have to survive and become a large community. There are many gurudwaras and soravars (lakes) on-site to take amrat as well. To be able to sit under the trees that some of the Gurus had done so was also wonderful. A beautiful place to visit.

Needless to add this place is absolutely magical especially early morning between 3.30 am and 5.30 am. It is absolutely breathtaking. A must visit at that time. One can sleep later during the day. The serenity an peacefulness is something one must experience.

A divine place. I have almost zero knowledge of Sikhism. But when I stand in th3 queue for 4 hours that is when I felt the presence different energy. I have been to Kashi, Ujjain and every where u have to stand in queue. A lot of pushing touching, but here people are standing together with families but with pure energy and devotion to "Guru"🙏
