The best place for one day trip from bangalore. It’s full of thrilling and I have visited many times . But this time I didn’t get chance to go inside Bec water was too much so they had closed it . Best place to visit with family and friends.
It is a fantastic ride of around one and a half hours from bangalore. Marvelous road with smart turns and curves. Bikers can enjoy it. Stay is not so cheap but can be negotiated. Don't go for oil massage if you are alone as yours belongings can be stolen.

Good place to explore, best to visit during winter or monsoon. Multiple locations to see the falls & relax around. Ticket is a bit expensive for boat rides, the boatmen would charge you extra to visit more places other than the government fixed price ! Hygiene can be improved around the place

It is a very spiritual and peaceful place. A very good temple to visit with family and friends. The atmosphere is divine and gives a positive energy.
Some suggestions for improvement:
Currently, the entry fees are accepted only in cash. It would be better if they start accepting UPI or digital payments, as it is convenient for many visitors. Also, they often ask for exact change, which is difficult sometimes.
In case of emergencies, it would be good if the management allows devotees to exit easily. For example, one parent’s kid was crying but they did not allow them to leave quickly and insisted on following the full queue.
Since they are collecting entry fees, they should provide better services and facilities for devotees.
Some of the management staff have a rude attitude, which can be improved to make devotees feel more welcomed.
Overall, it is a must-visit spiritual place, but these small improvements can make the experience even better.
Heard about this place a lot so went on 5th oct 25 with family. The parking area was covered but still slushy due to overnight rains. We had to wade through the slush. Though entry fee was rupees 20 but no staff was available hence we entered free. The temple was maintained well. The siva lingams were placed in a orderly manner and pathway was built to access all the lingams. On the biggest lingam honeybees have built their honeycomb. Photo attached. Anyone can keep a lingam in their name after paying rupees 8000 for small one, 35000 for a bigger one and more than a lac for giant size siva lingam. A small pooja will be conducted then a space is allotted for your lingam. Drawback was they do not accept gpay or credit card or debit card only cash. This issue needs to be addressed by the temple authorities. They should not expect devotees to bring this much amount of cash.
Infact for using toilet facilities the person collects rupees 5 per head via gpay though the toilet was nasty. The authorities must reign up the contractor. Overall a must visit place but take good amount of cash if you want to keep a lingam there.
Worthy of a one time visit only.
Lots of various hindu deities within the complex, beside the 'koti' (meaning crore/ten million) shivlings spread across the place. Serene and peaceful yet this place is by no means a temple for offering prayers. It's clearly made out to be more of a tourist attraction. Starting from paid parking, entry fee of ₹20/- per person, directed visitors in a sequence to confront various hindu deities where the pujari's give you extra attention if one offers money. Better yet, these 'pujaris' coax every visiting individual to 'offer' money for 'blessings'. If one doesn't give/offer money, they grumble and show a care less attitude. Personally dissappointed and not likely to visit this place ever again.
I reiterate, this place is more of a tourist attraction, not exactly a place of worship. Accordingly, go mentally prepared when visiting this place.
Temple is very good. Road is also nice to drive if you by Bangalore-Chennai expressway.
The only thing which I did not like was at the entrance many transgenders who would demand money from everyone. Other thing is unnecessary forcing people through all the small temples in a queue.
Rest all things are very nice and energy there is astonishing. Pujari told there was Brihma temple as well which is second only after Pushkar ji.

Kotilingeshwara Temple, located in Kamasandra near Kolar (about 90 km from Bangalore), is a unique and significant spiritual site. The name "Kotilingeshwara" translates to "Lord of a Crore (10 million) Lingas", symbolizing devotion and the massive scale of the temple's spiritual ambition.
The main attraction is the 108-foot-tall Shiva Linga, one of the tallest in the world, accompanied by a 35-foot Nandi statue. Surrounding it are over 90 lakh (9 million) small Shivalingas, installed by devotees over the years. According to a priest there, around 10 lakh more need to be installed to reach the goal of 1 crore (10 million) Lingas, which is the temple's namesake and vision.
The temple complex also houses shrines for many other deities such as Ganesha, Hanuman, Annapoorneshwari, Vishnu, and others, making it a multi-deity pilgrimage spot.
That said, the experience feels over-commercialized. There's a mandatory ₹20 entrance fee, and almost every shrine has people expecting or insisting on donations, even for a simple darshan. Especially at the Annapoorneshwari shrine, visitors are pressured to donate ₹100 or ₹200 in exchange for a packet of vibhuti, which many may find forceful or inappropriate.
Overall, it’s a fascinating temple to visit for its scale and symbolism, but be prepared for repeated donation requests and a very money-minded environment.
Recently visited the place early morning from Bangalore, the road is so good for a road trip. The timing of temple opening mentioned on google is wrong, it doesn’t open at 6 am it does at 7:30 am so plan your travel accordingly. There is ample parking space around the temple, footwear stands are available and some local shops around the temple.
The entry ticket is Rs 20 per adult, kids below six years have free entry. The temple allows only traditional dress code for men and women, and phones are allowed inside the temple premises.
There are many small temples inside of different deities along with all the lingams.
There are many temple area is huge and takes at least an hour to visit fully.
The views are mesmerising and definitely worth visiting at least once in your lifetime!

Bannerghatta Zoo, located near Bangalore, Karnataka, is a vast national reserve that offers a perfect dose of awe-inspiring moments for animal lovers. Established in 1970 and declared as a national park in 1974, it has become famous for its close proximity to the city limits and serves as a biological and conservation reserve for animals. The park features a zoo, safari park, butterfly conservatory, animal rescue center, pet corner, aquarium, snake house and ancient temples for worship.
I visited Bannerghatta National Park about a month ago, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable experience. The place has a nice mix of things to do — the zoo, the butterfly park, and of course, the safari.
The safari was the highlight for me. We got surprisingly close views of lions, tigers, bears, and herbivores in spacious enclosures that actually feel pretty close to their natural habitat. It’s exciting without being rushed, and you really get good photo moments.
The butterfly park is calm and colorful — a perfect little break after the safari. The zoo is quite large with a good variety of animals and birds, though a few enclosures could definitely use better maintenance.
Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this place for families, kids, or anyone who wants a quick nature-and-wildlife getaway near the city. Just reach early, carry water, and keep a little patience — it makes the whole experience so much better.

A Great Day Out, But With Key Areas for Improvement
Bannerghatta Biological Park offers a genuinely wonderful experience for wildlife lovers, making it a fantastic destination for a day trip. The park is vast, and many of the naturalized habitats for the local species are impressive and well-maintained. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, contributing to an overall positive atmosphere.
However, a couple of significant issues prevented me from rating this as a perfect five-star experience.
Firstly, I was disappointed that some of the highly anticipated major animals, notably the Lion and the Orangutan, were either absent or could not be found in their areas during our visit. This was a notable letdown for key species that many visitors hope to see.
More importantly, I observed certain welfare concerns that I hope the park management addresses. Several animals appeared to be kept alone or with a very limited number of mates, which seemed sparse given their social nature. In a few cases, the enclosures seemed smaller than ideal, and I witnessed some animals exhibiting repetitive, stereotypic behaviors (pacing back and forth). This gave the distinct impression that they might be bored, stressed, or depressed due to the lack of space or social stimulation. Ensuring that all animals have adequate companionship and spacious, enriching enclosures is crucial for a park of this stature.
Despite these issues, the overall variety of species and the natural beauty of the environment are undeniable. If the park could improve its exhibit list consistency and significantly upgrade the size and social conditions of the enclosures I mentioned, it would easily earn five stars.
Last week, I visited the Biological Zoo with my family. It was a very exciting and memorable trip. We saw many animals like lions, tigers, elephants, deer, giraffes and colorful birds.
The best part of our visit was the safari. It was really thrilling to see the wild animals moving freely in the open area. We saw lions and tigers very closely from the safari bus and it felt like a real jungle adventure.
The zoo was clean and well maintained. The staff guided us properly and we enjoyed taking many photos and videos together. It was a fun and educational experience for the whole family. I would love to visit again, especially for the safari ride.
Bannerghatta Biological Park is a great place for a family day out. The zoo is well-maintained, with a good variety of animals like lions, tigers, elephants, and reptiles. Better to pre book tge tickets through online from their official page. Also suggest to visit morning first slot.Walkways are clean, and there are plenty of resting spots and food stalls. Weekends can be crowded, so visiting early morning is best. Overall, a wonderful and educational place for kids and adults.
It was amazing experience we went in the noon at 2:30pm for safari and it was so lively experience and kid will really enjoy this.
The safari takes 45min and its amazing experience and the zoo inside there are many caged animals snakes as well.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting this biological park you’ve probably never seen so many animals in one place. The Bannerghatta Biological Park trail is about 2.2 km and takes at least 3 hours to complete. After that spend around 45 minutes at the Butterfly Park. It’s absolutely worth it with family or friends. There’s also a safari option though I didn’t opt for it you can check other reviews for that.
I recently visited Bannerghatta National Park, and honestly, it felt a bit overhyped. From the photos and reviews, I expected a proper wildlife experience, but in reality, it was more like an average zoo with a bus ride added in.
We booked the safari bus since jeeps weren’t available, and that was fine — but the safari itself was quite disappointing. The entire 20–30 minute ride had barely 4–5 types of animals — deer, elephants, leopards, lions, and a small bear. It didn’t feel like we were in a natural habitat at all. The zones were just large fenced areas with a few animals each. For example, you start with deer and elephants, then after passing a gate you reach the leopard zone, where maybe 3–4 leopards can be seen resting near shelters. Same goes for lions and bears. It honestly felt like a zoo with a bus tour instead of walking.
After the safari, we went to the zoo area, which was okay but again nothing great. There were only one or two animals of each species — a single giraffe, one tiger, one lion, etc. Variety was there, but it didn’t feel lively or well-maintained.
The butterfly park was the best part of the entire visit. The entry fee was ₹50 per person, and it was worth it. The dome area filled with butterflies and greenery looked beautiful and peaceful — definitely the highlight of the day.
Overall, Bannerghatta National Park is good for a one-time visit or a short family outing near Bangalore, but if you’re expecting a real safari or wildlife experience, you’ll probably be disappointed.

So peaceful. We were lucky that Gurudev was there when we visited. So inquire first before going there. You can shop there, there are meditation centres, temples and everything. You must have 1 whole day to visit it properly.
Most beautiful and happening place. Helpful for peace of mind and to enhance your dynamism...with yoga , meditation and best prasadam. Heaven on earth ! I have been visiting this place from last 15 yrs.. and never felt boared to revisit this again. You can feel all these magical when you step inside the gate.. worth to visit!
Nice place to visit. It is a place where you can feel the eternal peace. I visited during 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. and saw lighting, alongwith water sprayers. There is a small children park for sliding, swinging. You can sit, have snacks, can do shopping of Sri Sri branded products, and buy ayurvedic medicines with nadi pariksha. 3 to 4 hours is sufficient time to spend if you are going with with family.

There are Gurukul, vishalakshi mantapam, small temple are situated. One day visit to explore the things over there. The place is situated for more than 3-4 acres I believe.
Huge place with a calming ambience with lots of nature and fresh air. Nice place to do some mindfulness practice and take some pics. Can get busy during weekends or if the founder is around in the center.
I'm from Vietnam and I came here for the Silence Program. I had a great experience here. The environment is clean, the air is fresh, the people are friendly, the vibration is peaceful... The Ashram is very contrast with the outside world.

This is a factual review of my experience.
First, I was treated with utmost love and respect and kindness by almost every staff member I met here (especially the ones serving the food!).
The grounds are pretty, there is a large building being built and the traffic is not *too* loud.
I was told I could stay in the accommodations for free and try a course, so I went to speak at the reception (I was also interested in volunteering).
I had to fill out several forms and when I was done, I was informed the "Happiness course" was $440 USD.
In the USA, that is a lot of money. In India, you could feed a family for a year.
It's just a touristy cult/scam that I wouldn't ever return to or recommend to anyone.

The Glass House: It’s stunning architecture and makes for great photos.
The Lake: Very peaceful to sit by, and I spotted quite a few birds.
Cleanliness: The park is well-maintained despite being so popular.
I recommend going early in the morning to beat the heat and the crowds. It’s a fantastic spot for photography or just disconnecting from the city traffic. Highly recommended!

A Calming Green Oasis in Bengaluru
Lalbagh Botanical Garden offers a decent escape from the city hustle. I had an "OK" experience, largely thanks to the wonderfully calm and fresh environment. If you're looking for a spot with natural bird sounds to truly cool down and relax your mind, this place is highly recommended. It's a true "lung space" for Bengaluru.
A major plus was the e-cycle ride, which is a fantastic way to cover the vast garden expanse. The rental seemed to have a flexible pricing, as I saw options for a short ride. I did a ride.
We also caught the artificial waterfall near the lake, which operates on a fixed schedule. We saw it running from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM. It adds a nice, serene touch to the lake area when it's on.
My one major feeling was a slight lack of a "zoo" or large animal presence (apart from birds), which I missed—it felt more like a purely botanical experience rather than a nature park with diverse wildlife. However, for a botanical garden, all the basic amenities and facilities are well-maintained.
Conclusion ; If you are in Bengaluru, it's definitely worth a visit for a peaceful, nature-filled break and a lovely walk or cycle ride.
Recently visited here — it’s a beautiful and refreshing place to connect with nature. The garden is huge, and it’s quite hard to cover the entire area within an hour. You’ll find ancient, massive trees and a wide variety of plant species, making it a paradise for nature lovers.

It was a beautiful experience. The day was 🌞 I went with my family to explore the beauty of this huge botanical garden that has flora species dating back to hundreds of years ago. Enchanting. ❤️😇 We took the ride for 45 mins which is charged ₹100 per person. The guide thoroughly took us to different locations of the botanical garden taking small stops at specific points. Overall it was a nice experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the place. Recommended to family and friends. ✨

This place is serene and calm atmosphere to enlighten the spiritual experience within you. It is well connected with all public transport as it is located in the heart of the city. If you're driving a four wheeler then parking charges of 40 rupees collected. You shall easily spend an hour or three including the shopping of artifacts and other devotional items inside the temple premises. Multiple vaishnavaite deities are present here. Everything is maintained near and clean. An artificial waterfall and a lake add more charm to this place. This place is getting upgraded with more infrastructure as the construction is going on as well.

What to say other than Amezing!!! You get to enjoy the large dine area, some magazines in quite zone and to top they got live counters and of course the Buffet.

The Good:
The overall vibe is excellent, and the cleanliness and maintenance across the park are top-notch. The staff deserve a special mention; their response and behavior were very good, and they were professional and polite, even on a busy day.
Must-Try Rides & Attractions:
The variety of rides is superb! We loved the water section, especially the Rain Dance, Wave Pool, Mammoth, and all the water slides. For thrill-seekers, the Recoil coaster is a masterpiece. My personal favorites were Mission Interstellar and Recoil—they are must-do experiences! (A bonus: they provide videos and photos for some rides to capture the memories.)
Important Tips for Visitors:
Evening Highlight (Must Wait!): Be sure to stay until the end of the day for the incredible dance and music show! It’s the perfect, energetic finish to a thrilling day.
Crowd Warning: I do not recommend visiting on weekends or major holidays like Diwali/Christmas unless you are prepared for extreme queues.
Fast Track is Mandatory: If you must visit on a busy day, I strongly recommend getting the Fast Track tickets as they are the only way to avoid ridiculously long waiting times and enjoy all the rides.
Food Costs: Be aware that the food and beverages inside the park are definitely on the higher side.
Overall, Wonderla offers a fantastic, clean, and fun experience, provided you manage the crowds wisely!

One of the best amusement parks in the country. Some rides are really high on thrill and adrenaline rush, especially their roller coaster- recoil, the twister, maverik etc. You must not miss the newly added adventure ride- Interstellar which is an experience in itself. The giant wheel at the 13th floor gives the best view of the park and the city. The waterpark isn’t great but has some good water slides and rides you can try. For extra fun you can try the rain dance shows, & especially the wave pool with the dj is so much fun. The best part is they hae made a division in the pool with 2 sides, one for family, couple, women; and other for only men. The crew keeps a check that everyone follows the rules properly and behaves. Some things to keep in mind. Some rides can have queues in rush time, but its doable; as the fastrack tickets are double the cost and not worth it as you can still do all rides without it, just make sure you reach before noon and are there till atleast 6pm. Noone specifically checked the costume for waterpark, but carry appropriate material clothes to enjoy the most, or you’ll have t o buy them at 350 bucks. The locker costs 350 rs, with an additional 50 bucks of the magnetic key watch band. There are multiple food joints and options to eat from. You’ll also find souvenir shops. Wait till post the sunset to see the beauty of the park in lights. You can take certain buses plying to and back from the park to city. Overall its a great experience and a must go to atleast once if you are adventurous soul.

Check offers before Booking! This place is really good for a day outing, don't start from the first ride, watch YouTube videos to see which one you don't wanna miss and be in queue for those in the start. First of all reach the place by 10 am to be aware of what
to do, and how to go ahead. Normal queue Wait time is 30-70 minutes on each ride after 11:30. So decide wisely don't waste your time on not so worthy rides. We included three meals, it was a good decision so we didn't waste time deciding, what to eat. My recommendations at least include noon meal, so you can enjoy it and during the evening it will be your wish for what you wanna eat after rides. Take the longest hours, it's hardly the matter of 100-200/- rs but then after dinner also you may be able to do some fun rides if not water rides. Take the locker in advance or one of you may end up just looking after your stuff. Wear water rides approved clothing from the start , so you don't waste time changing clothes again and again. Wear rubber slippers/ crocs, it's easy for you to move around.

The new Mission Interstellar ride totally blew my mind! It’s India’s first space themed ride and the huge screen makes you feel like you’re actually floating in space definitely a must-try. Apart from that, the high thrill rides like Recoil were just insane.
The water park section was also great the slides, the wave pool, the lazy river everything was just perfect for cooling off and chilling. The staff were polite and helpful throughout the day, and the locker and changing facilities were neat and clean.
I also liked the food options inside decent variety and not too overpriced, which was nice.

We recently visited *Wonderla Bangalore* with a group of four friends on a **Sunday weekend**, and it was an amazing experience! Since Wonderla was celebrating its **20th anniversary**, they had a special **Buy 2 Get 2 Free offer**, so the crowd was quite full — but the fun was totally worth it!
The park is **very clean, green, and peaceful**, with a lot of energy and excitement all around. We enjoyed both **dry rides and water games** — each one gave us a thrill! The **rain dance** and **Rizal Coaster** were especially unforgettable and gave us real goosebumps.
There are **lockers available**, and **drinking water** is easily accessible throughout the park, which is really convenient.
Coming to **food**, the options are good and available at **reasonable prices**. Just one suggestion — avoid eating and then going for active water rides immediately, as it might cause a bit of discomfort.

* Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
In the **evening**, the **lighting and night atmosphere** make the place even more beautiful.
**How to reach:**
Reaching Wonderla is easy. The best way is to take the **metro to Challaghatta (last station)**, and from there, you can easily book a **cab or bike**. The route from Challaghatta is smooth and traffic-free, just about **7 km away**.
Overall, it’s a **perfect destination to visit with friends or family**, especially in groups — the fun multiplies!

This was my 3rd visit but first time with family and kids. Beautiful park, everyone should visit for fun. Weather was supportive so you could enjoy water games. There's new addition to the park - Mission Interstellar. It was mind blowing. Never experienced before. For all games there's 25% of people with Fast track priority passes are sent in. With Halloween passes, all land games can be played even between 7 pm to 10 pm while games for regular passes are closed by 6 pm. Park timings on weekends is 11 am to 7 pm. Everything is fine except Food. Its totally SCAM. If you buy buffet online vs offline, the prices are different. If you buy Buffet lunch at entrance is 419 while online and inside its 500+. Any food like Fried rice or Noodles with non/veg manchurian and large coke combination is 410/- when you can buy Buffet for same price. The quality of food is pathetic. After spending good time, we felt disappointed with food quality with menu options and with exorbitant prices. I have provided same feedback to ground staff to improve food. Hence reduced the overall ratings.
When we were planning a fun trip for our school children on the occasion of Children’s Day, the first place that came to our minds was Wonderla - a place we knew would bring them the most joy. Since our students come from the ashrama and study in a government-aided school, we reached out to Wonderla to request their support in making this day special.
The Wonderla management responded with immense kindness. They wholeheartedly accepted our request and made it possible for more than 45 students to enjoy a fully sponsored day at the park. The children got to experience all the dry rides and water games, enjoying every moment with excitement and laughter. The team ensured personal care throughout the day, organised fun games exclusively for our kids, and treated them to delicious food - making the entire experience unforgettable.
We, the teachers of Mahila Mandali Vidya Samaste Kannada Primary, extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Wonderla team for embracing our children with so much love and warmth. Upon arrival, you’ll find ample parking space, which is very convenient — even during weekends or holidays, parking here is hassle-free. The open parking lot is well-organized, safe, and very close to the entrance, which makes visiting with kids or elderly family members stress-free.
The entry fee is clearly stated at ₹600 per person, which includes a guided wine tasting session and a short tour of the vineyard and winery. A great point for families is that children below a certain age are allowed free entry (although naturally, they cannot participate in the wine tasting), making it a family-friendly place despite its focus on wine.
The wine tasting tour is structured and accessible even for beginners. A knowledgeable guide walks visitors through the basic steps of wine production — from grape harvesting, fermentation, aging, and bottling. You get an easy-to-follow overview of how Sula produces its different wines. The tasting itself includes a sampling of several wines (typically around 5–6 types), and the staff explains the tasting notes, aromas, and characteristics of each variety in a simple and engaging manner. The session doesn’t feel rushed, and even those new to wine will find it enjoyable and informative without being too technical or intimidating.
Once the tour is over, you can head to the in-house restaurant, which is a highlight in itself. The food is genuinely very good — well-prepared, fresh, and served in generous portions. The menu offers a great range of options, including wood-fired pizzas, flavorful pastas, continental favorites, and a few Indian dishes. There are also wine-pairing suggestions on the menu, which is a nice touch for those who want to continue the wine experience with their meal. The dining area overlooks the vineyards, offering a serene view that's perfect for a leisurely lunch or early dinner. Overall a nice experience. It's a day trip as this place is quite far off from the Bangalore main city. The ticket price has reimbursement via Wine Tour and Tastings! They could have allowed us more time in the Vineyards to explore the grapes. Overall nice experience! The guided tour costs 600 per head.

Cover charge now increased to 800/ person from earlier Rs. 600/ person. Note that this can be set off against purchases made / services taken ( wine tour , wine tasting).
Good selection of wine (red & white) including their upmarket ranges - Source & Rasa which otherwise is not usually found in shops in Bnglr.
The winetasting & tour guide Tanish was very courteous & helpful apart from being knowledgable about most things to do with wine.
We tasted about 6 different wine varieties, 2 sparkling, 2 red & 2 whites
be prepared for a slightly warm weather at chanapatna as compared to Bamgalore.
Given the long weekend, we didnt face much of traffic heading out or returning to bangalore.
Food was ok & given the price charges nothing much to talk about... we ordered the nachos, pasta, few indian dishes... paid close to 3k for 4 pax.
A decent experience with brief tour on wine making process and vineyards. Best time to visit is before March as per the crew, as harvest time was complete before we visited and not much grapes were in the vineyards. Explanation and wine tasting were good. Many places for photoshoot. They have grape stomping as well. Overall, a half day experience with fun away from the daily chores. Not much offers (except nominal discounts in bulk purchase) on their wines. It could be improved with more interactive and entertaining tour and tasting.

It was very interesting and enjoyable to learn how wine is made. This is a small vineyard though but it was pretty. The wine tasting was great and there's a gift shop too.
The restaurant inside is very bad though, the food tasted like nothing, there were many houseflies and when asked to clean they did the bare minimum and just shrugged their shoulders.
So overall if you visit here just buy a bottle of wine from their shop and go somewhere else to dine, this place isn't worth it that way. I am reducing 2 stars just for the worst dining experience I've ever had
The vineyard is quite small, so there isn’t much to explore. It’s fine to stop by if it’s along your route, but not really worth a full-day visit. There’s not much to do, and while the weekday entry fee is reasonable, weekends feel overpriced. Food is also on the expensive side, and the vineyard tour requires an additional payment (though part of it is adjusted against the entry pass).
We booked tickets for Domaine Sula Vineyard at ₹600 each. ₹200 covered the vineyard and factory tour, and ₹400 was for optional wine tasting, which could also be redeemed for food or wine.
The tour lasted around 15-20 minutes, and the guide explained everything well. However, we were disappointed to find out that there were no grapes in the vineyard since all the grapes had already been harvested.
It was quite a letdown. We felt they should have clearly mentioned the grape season on their website or while booking, so visitors would know what to expect.
During the tour, the guide explained the process of how the grapes are grown and harvested over the months.
The wine tasting session was good— we tasted six different wines, and the guide explained their taste, smell, and ingredients. This helped us choose which wine to purchase.
Overall, it was an average experience. If we had known about the grape season and the overall experience beforehand, we wouldn’t have travelled over 100 km just for this.

Very nice place. We went here with team. The parking place is around 1km away from the spot. Need to walk through hills to teach the place. Kayaking and jumping around in the water was the most fun thing to do here. You will have to wear the life jacket through out though. Breakfast and lunch is alright. Good food. Over all very nice place for a team outing. They have the paintball too but the guns were out for repair that day. The place offers night camping too.

Very good place to spend a day's time with your team. You have to trek for 20 mins to reach the camp once vehicle is parked in the nearby village.
The camp organizes a few team building activities and adventure activities like rope walking, kayaking and boating in manchanbele dam. But the fun part is that you are allowed to swim in the waters with a life jacket. They also serve decent Breakfast, lunch and tea/coffee snacks.
The main attraction of this place is water. been there for one day outing. Food is not at all good. But you will enjoy the day. Also location is beautiful 😍 .Rest room is too far and why there is no mirror?
Water sports activities are good but they have less boats now available and out of all boats few are not in good working condition, food was ok keeping in mind that place is far from normal living area, rappling was good, rope activities are also ok, staffs are polite, this place is mostly for adventure loving people rather than relax,dance,games(cricket, volleyball,paintball,etc) loving people. No paintball, and mud driving.
Nice place for team outing. Best part was swimming and kayaking in river. Other than that rope activities and team building activities were good. Food was ok. Avallaki in breakfast was smelly. Had to throw it as it is. Sambhar vada and idli was good. Reached there by private bus which we booked for our team. Bus was parked at some 1.5kms away from destination. Had to track to location from there. Since its an adventure camping zone so don't expect any air conditioning room or place to rest. Your whole day is going to be tiring. We started from Bangalore at 8 and reached there by 10.30. Evening we left at 5.30 and reached back by 8.30.
A beautiful place to get away from the city and camp under the stars. The host and their staff did a great job of ensuring we had a good time. The food was amazing! They have a selection of activities to keep you occupied.

If you want only back water swimming and boating experience then this the best place. Life Saver Jackets are of good quality. Food is okay okay.
If your are ready for a 1km hike before you get to the place, then this place is for you. XtremeZone is not all that "Xtreme". The food was horrible. A local villager we talked to said that they prepare meals in a very unhygienic manner. The staff was somewhat helpful. The owners have no regards for customers though. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only plus point is the long drive.

The temple grounds are expansive, allowing plenty of space to explore. As you approach, the massive entry gate immediately captures your attention, setting the tone for the grandeur within. The intricate stone carvings throughout the temple are absolutely breathtaking, showcasing the skill and artistry of the craftsmen from centuries ago.
One of the highlights is the presence of two identical Shivalingas, which adds to the spiritual significance of the site. We also found the Navaraga Mandapa, which seems like a venue for various devotional or social activities—it's a beautiful space that enhances the temple's communal atmosphere.
Inside the temple complex, there is a large kund, though public access is restricted. However, we enjoyed the lovely garden surrounding the temple, which adds to its charm. There’s also a smaller kund outside where visitors are allowed, but unfortunately, the water quality wasn't great.
Overall, Bhoga Nandishwara Temple is a must-visit for anyone interested in history, architecture, or spirituality. The serene environment and rich heritage make it a perfect complement to a day spent in Nandi Hills. Highly recommended!

They do allow marriage ceremony to take place in the temple premises. Most of the structure are getting damaged due to lack of proper security and government negligence I hope they will do something to maintain this beautiful temple.

Nice Place for a Short Trek and Peaceful Vibes
Shivagange is a great place to visit if you’re looking for a short trip from Bangalore. It’s about 50 km away and perfect for a one-day outing. The place has a mix of nature, trekking, and spiritual feel.
The trek is around 3 to 4 km uphill. Some parts are steep and narrow, but there are railings to help. It’s better to start early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowd.
Make sure to carry water, wear good shoes, and be ready for some climbing. On the way up, you’ll see a few small temples and a big Nandi statue. The temple at the top is peaceful, and the view is really beautiful.

I visit 21-07-25 Very Beautiful beginners trekking spot close to Bangalore. From Bangalore it's a half day adventure trip. Good to go during weekdays since there will be crowd which is safe. Else go in large groups. During weekdays carry food and water.and valakallu teertha is amezing moment.
We visited Shivagange in the early morning, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. As we started our trek just before sunrise, the cool breeze and peaceful surroundings set the perfect mood. The silence of the morning,made the whole atmosphere feel calm and spiritual.
Overall, it was a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and spirituality. Visiting early in the morning is highly recommended if you want to beat the heat, avoid crowds, and enjoy the serene beauty of the place at its best.
Had a wonderful trek to Shivagange! The trail offers a mix of steps and rocky paths with beautiful views along the way. It’s best to start early morning around 6 AM to enjoy the sunrise and cool weather, as it gets quite crowded once the sun is up.
You’ll see many monkeys on the way, so keep your food and water bottles safe. The monkeys are playful but can grab things quickly.
At the top, the view is rewarding, but water and snacks are quite expensive, so it’s better to carry your own water to save money.
Overall, it’s a moderate trek, with some steep climbs near the top, but manageable with short breaks. The vibe is peaceful in the morning, and the breeze at the peak makes it worth the effort.
Highly recommended for a day trek near Bangalore if you love adventure and sunrise views!

1. Watch out for the monkeys – they’re super active and smart! Cover your bag with a jacket and keep a small stick handy. Seriously, they act like police on the trail 😄

Awesome 👌 place to visit. Very good for Photography. It will take 4 to 6 hours to comfortably cover with Photography stops. Carry some water and umbrella if raining. There is small food store for water, cold drink, ice cream, chips, biscuit etc. Also there are restroom inside. Ticket is 20 per head. Full of greenery. There are steps to climb up, but not very difficult. Enjoy while inside. Place is well maintained. As you go up, weather become pleasant and windy. View awseome. Parking is there outside fort. Guides available. Very recommend.

Beautiful fort, can walk easily all over. Must visit Onake Obavva kindi. Best time is to visit in the morning when sun is not too sharp. We visited late September when sky is still cloudy and has fresh cool breeze so you won't feel tired and can walk till the end.

The great King Veera Madakari Nayaka rolled fort. This fort made of full of rocks, very beautiful place for one day trip. Located near NH 04. One brave lady called Onake Obavva lived here, she alonly killed hundreds of Hidarali's soldiers.
Its a beautiful historical place which gives lowkey hampi vibes. Very less travellers visit here, you need a full day to explore the fort and surroundings. Better to take a guide to understand the historical importance of each part of the fort

Dedicated to Marikamba Devi, a fierce form of Goddess Durga, she is revered as the “elder sister” (Doddamma) of all Marikamba goddesses across Karnataka.
I visited it on a Thursday morning of September at around 7:30 am as I was returning from Jog falls and it was supercool as there was no crowd and I could do Darshan straight. You must visit this if you are around this place.
The temple features rare Kaavi murals—an extinct art form of coastal Karnataka involving red-pigmented plaster over a white base, engraved to reveal intricate designs. Inside, a central courtyard surrounded by cloisters displays images of deities from Hindu epics.
Shri Marikamba Devi was installed in 1689 A.D. Sirsi was then a tiny village. The deity which is said to have been found in a local tank was installed here through the efforts of the Nandikeshwarmath Swamiji with the consent of Sadashiva Raya II of Sonda Dynasty, a sub-Kingdom under the famous Vijayanagar Empire. Since then Shri “Devi” has become the popular ‘Grama Devata’. Till recently the administration of the temple was looked after by the elders of the town.
But from 1955 A.D. the temple is being administrated by the BOARD OF TRUSTEES comprising of 5 members. The trustees are nominated by the District Judge once in five years.
Shri Marikamba is the Mother Divine like Kali of Bengal, Ambaji of Rajasthan and Ambabhavani of Maharashtra. She is Mother in love. She subdues the wicked and protects the Virtuous. It is a fact that all the wishes of her devotees are fulfilled only by their prayers.
The annual Chief festivals are ‘Jayanti’, ‘Navaratri’ and ‘Kartheeka’ Illuminations, and bi-annual car festival.

I sincerely request Agadi Thota to make mud kitchen items available either online or offline, so more people can use them, as they are really good for health. Nowadays, in Dharwad city, I only come across matka water, but not such authentic items.

Agadi Thota is a perfect destination to enjoy the real rural beauty and culture of North Karnataka. The farm is well maintained, calm and quiet in lush green surroundings.
The activities provided are enjoyable for all age groups. From bullock cart ride, pottery making, boating, rain dance and many others. But mind you they only provide the structure you have to do everything yourself.
But the best part is the food of North Karnataka served during entire day..it’s simply awesome..fresh, tasty ,homely and unlimited also..
The staff is very warm and makes sure that whoever comes there have a great time. The concept of organic farming and showing people how to do such type of farming in a very sustainable manner is really appreciated. It’s not about visiting, it can be called as an complete cultural exposure.

Unkal Lake is a popular and well-maintained spot in Hubli, ideal for picnics, walks, and quality family time. The lake is large, complemented by a clean garden, playground, and walking pavements right at the entrance. Entry is a nominal ₹10 per person, and car parking is conveniently available in front. While the lake itself is well-maintained with regular de-weeding and attractive new fountains with lights, it's disheartening to see visitors still scattering garbage and plastic, despite efforts to keep it litter-free. A great place to relax, if visitors contribute to its cleanliness.
A great place to spend time with family and friends! The Unkal Lake and garder is the place where you can find real peace and happiness. The place is totally covered with greenery and we can see many view points there so that we can enjoy the lake view from there and can feel the atmosphere.
The lake and garden is really wonderful but I suggest to maintain the Unkal Lake more as the water seems to be polluted, and also request each and everyone (including me) to maintain the place and follow the rules so that the lake and garden look better and it's our own responsibility to maintain our area and surroundings clean including public parks, gardens and more.
My overall experience was pretty good and I really enjoyed a lot.
Most recommended garden to visit for the one who are new to Hubballi, and i recommend those too who haven't visited this place.
There are even many more kids playable area so that kids can enjoy and have fun. Best walking trails are available for morning and evening walks and you'll really enjoy it.

A beautiful place to sit in peace and enjoy the calmness of lake. So many benches are available for people to sit and relax as well. Evening are great on weekdays.

Great place for walkers and jogger’s . We could only make 1/4th round of the entire lake . According to the security of the lake the entire periphery of the lake is about 6.5 kms . The lake closes at 07:00 pm . If you are planning to cover the entire round then have ample time before you take the full circle.
The lake is just next to Hotel naveen . The pavement have been well laid . There are lights out along the track so that the move may be smooth . There is a sun set view point at the enterance at a heightened location . There is an eatery/restaurant at the entrance where you can grab snack before you set out for walking . Entrance fee is 10/- and parking fee is also 10/- . If you are in Hubballi and not sure where to go in the evening then this is a good place to explore .
I am a resident of Jaipur and have been visiting lake for long walks ever since childhood. I have seen people from all walks of life come to lake for morning and evening walks. I like to walk the talk here with friends and family. The environment of the lake is very conducive for deep introspection. Watching the sunrise or sunset gives me an exhilarating experience and makes me feel one with God and Nature. Of late you can see the water shimmering like silver if you go around 5:30 or 6:00 pm and makes the whole area look so calm and serene and beautiful. At the other end of the lake there is now a Buddha Park with a very beautiful calm and serene statue of Lord Buddha in sitting pose. At the entrance you will find the lake club, restaurant, lots of vendors selling eatables, and a big play zone for kids where you can enjoy with kids. Also, there are ducks in the lake which you can feed or go for a boat ride. There are plenty of things to do here. It has become an activity centre for people. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Avoid this resort at all costs!!This place is a complete scam. They lure people in with positive reviews and photos of a different resort, but when we arrived, they shifted us to another property called *Wildernest* without any prior notice. When we questioned them, they gave a vague excuse, claiming they assign resorts based on "availability."
Since we reached late at night, we had no choice but to stay. The resort we were sent to was poorly maintained, none of the promised activities were available, and the worst part — they served the *same food* for all three days!
If you value your time and money, do not book this resort. It completely ruined our vacation experience.
This resort is very good for families and couples. It is also good for students to enjoy your holidays. They provides good service and they have great hospitality service. We have enjoyed a lot in the resort. I had recently visited with my family of 12. Great service and rooms was clean and hygienic. They served hot 3 meals with veg and non veg food it was so tasty and yummy. Staff were friendly and polite. The adventure activities was good. Don't miss river rafting it's one of the most famous adventure activities in dandeli. It's was good and thrilling. We loved it. Highly recommended to visit a wonderful place.

I didn't stay there. We went for a day outing to see the Spices at the farm. It's a generation old forest, full off native Indian and some other spices. They serve a welcome drink and then give you a tour with all the information and history you need ! It's great. The food they serve is healthy and freshly made, must have that too after your tour. And they also have a souvenir shop where you can buy all the spices and different amazing products made out of them.

Tanshikar Spice Farm is a truly delightful place to stay. The eco-friendly hut set right in the heart of the jungle offers a peaceful and immersive nature experience. The food was excellent — fresh, flavourful, and prepared with spices grown on the farm.
Birding around the property was wonderful, with many species visible throughout the day. The night safari with owner of property Chinmay Tanshikar and Sahil the naturalist there ,was the highlight of our trip — we spotted a Slender Loris and five species of snakes, making it an unforgettable wildlife experience.

I went for a farm tour and farm to table lunch. It was a great learning experience, we got to try different kinds of spices and coffee. The food was equally good, do try the chocolate mousse. Mr.Tanshikar was kind enough to give us a tour of his house as well and teach us about the benefits of mud houses and how we should go about living a slow peaceful life in sync with the nature.
We had a wonderful time here. Even the journey to the spice farm is magnificent. What we learned about spices here was very informative and interesting. We were able to marvel at the owner's ancient mud house and gained a fantastic insight into the beautiful natural surroundings. The thali, prepared with local ingredients, was delicious. The shop is also magnificent. For little money, you can get exclusive, high-quality products here: spices, honey, chocolate, and coffee varieties we had never seen before. We travelled on 11th Oct 2025. Jeep safari had just opened a day before after the monsoon break. It's recommended to start the journey early we started at 8 am . It is a one hour journey by jeep to the waterfall. You will be given 90 minutes at the waterfall. Additional time can be spent at additional charges. It is the best time to visit as waterfall is in full flow post monsoon. Jeep can accomodate 7 pax . 600 rs per person or 4200 per jeep. Forest check point charge 250 which includes life jacket charges. Pls do not litter this beautiful natural paradise.
A must visit place for people seeking some adventure. You have to reach Kolem by your convenience. Then you’ll have to book local jeep that will take you near the waterfall which would take around 45min. Then there’s 5-10 minutes of hiking and you’ll see the beauty of nature. That’ll cost around Rs 850/- including the forest charges which is 250 Rs. You’ll also get a life jacket that’s included in 850 Rs. You’ll also can also swim in the waterfall.

You have option to go for hiking treking and jeep tour.
It takes 45mins to go by jeep from the forest gate.
Some places you cross the streams and full bumpy road for 45mins. You will be given 90 minutes to enjoy at the water falls. These jeep drivers charge waiting charges if you cross 90 mins.
Avoid if elders with back pain.
Also the water fall area doesn't have proper fencing support railing or any proper means to stand. Plenty of changing rooms but not maintained properly.
You have a life guard near the water falls.
Rocks are very skidy and be cautious.
Heavy Queue up to 3-4 hours for buying ticket, after ticket buy seat in their bolero around 45 min then you reach dudhsagar waterfall parking area… after that 10 min walking for dudhsagar waterfall, after seeing you feeling just wow… awesome location.. but time taken.

Things to note:
You cannot take your personal vehicle after the ticket booking point in Kullem.
No shops inside, so take your water bottles with you.
The road is very very rocky. Anyone with back problems is adviced not to go.
You will need to pay a maintanence fee, its about 220 per person. Carry cash, they do not accept any digital payments.
Theres 3 ways to reach the actual falls.
The first 2 options are a trek. You can trek from Kullem or Castle Rock. The trek from Castle Rock is almost a whole days worth trek and you will need a guide. The one from Kullem is about half a days worth. The roads to reach there are also very muddy mostly because of jeeps that keep crossing the road.
I personally would not recommend the trek because it's not very scenic, the roads are bad to non existent and is dangerous in general, especially from Castle Rock. And you can't take a jeep back from there either because jeeps already have their passengers pre-booked from the ticket point. The only advantage of the trek is that you can stay at the falls as long as you want.
The third way is to book a jeep. Best way imo. They run non stop from the ticket point. It's 500 person(on top the maintanence fee). They'll drop you at the final leg, from there you have to trek for 10mins. A very simple trek. You get 1.5 hours at the falls. Enough to see whatever the falls has to offer.
It’s an easy to moderate trek for around 11.5 kms one way…the view is not much what we expected but was okish. The guide will force you to take the train track route but please make sure you take the forest route for better view and experience.
There are Two ways to Explore the Mighty Falls, one in by Trek and other is Jeep safari which is 4200 per jeep (Rs.700/- per Head) if you are less then 7 you can share with others. By Trek is very difficult for Inexperience, its took 3 hours up and 3 hours down total of 6 Hours Walk. Forest Entry Ticket is Rs.250/- per person. Jeep Travel time is 45 Min up and 45 min Down. They Gave you 1.30 Hours for bath in Falls if waterflow is low. The 1.30 hours time is not enough for everyone because we cant get out of the falls due to its carry such joy and wild experience, they gave you life jackets so don't worry about if you not know to swim. Overall I highly recommend everyone must visit this Falls once you are in GOA. Timing 9.0 am to 3.0 pm. Checkpost is walkable from Kulem Railway Station, which is 30 min from Madgoan Junction.

I would give it five star or more but due to dog attacks I am giving it less , there are safety issues on this beach especially early morning and post sunset due to group(15-20 dogs) of stray dogs.
Do keep in mind that there are lot of stray dogs who attack people once it gets dark , keep a stick incase chosing to stay till it gets dark or early morning.

Very beautiful farm and one of a kind experience if you are visiting for first time.
They welcome you with flowers and then serve you a welcome drink. Then you have a option of having lunch or going on a tour of farm.
Lunch was home like and tasty. They served both veg and non veg food. It is a buffet.
Then on tour they explain you all about the different spices and condiments they grow in the farm and their benefits.
At last they pour a mixture of some herbs with water on your back to relieve your fatigue.

The entry fee was only Rs. 500/- per head which includes a tour guide and a lunch buffet.
The welcome to the farm was with a shower of flower petals and a small glass of Lemon Grass tea which has many health benefits.
The tour guide is available in Hindi, English and Konkani languages.
Our tour guide Saiksha who gave us a tour in English was very sweet, polite and knowledgeable.
The tour of the plantation is for about 25 to 30 minutes and is a walking tour.
Post that they refresh you with herbal cold water on your back to soothe and calm you.
They also give you 15ml of Fenni a local goan alcohol made from the Cashew fruit.
You can then sit down for your lavish spread of authentic local cuisine.
There is ample of parking space available here and it's better to come in early when it's cooler and has less crowd.
What an amazing experience for the eyes and the tummy… the guided tour was very informative and while it is a large plantation a quick 30 minute walk around the key areas was good to get a feel for this place… the food both veg, non veg including seafood was soooooo tasty…

The food was absolutely amazing, and our guide was both knowledgeable and super nice, with just the right touch of sarcasm that made the tour fun and engaging.
Everyone we met was incredibly kind. We were actually the first ones to arrive that day, and they welcomed us with flower petals and a warm cup of lemongrass tea infused with cardamom and ginger — such a lovely start!

The entry fee is INR 500 per person, which includes a guided tour, farm visit, and lunch. The food was delicious, healthy, and they even offer Jain/Swaminarayan options, making it completely vegetarian-friendly.
Since the farm is located away from North Goa, it's best to go by car for convenience.
🌿 An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at the Sahakari Spice Farm, Goa!
My visit to this spice farm was one of the most memorable experiences of my Goa trip! The place is absolutely wonderful — peaceful, green, and filled with the aroma of nature.
Our journey started at 8:30 AM from Panaji, and after navigating through Google Maps, we reached the farm around 9:45 AM. We were the first visitors of the day and were warmly welcomed with a refreshing cup of organic herbal green tea, made from freshly grown spices.
Soon after, a guide escorted us through the farm, explaining in detail about the different species of spices, their lifespans, when they start producing yield, and the climatic conditions required for their growth. We also learned about various organic farming techniques used to enhance spice production. Though I forgot his name, I truly admire him for his amazing knowledge, communication skills, and humble nature — he made the tour so engaging!
The farm tour lasted about an hour, surrounded by lush greenery, the sound of flowing water, and the soothing scent of spices — it was an absolute delight for the senses.
After the tour, we followed a traditional ritual where a blend of two organic oils was applied to our back — said to relieve tiredness, and it truly worked! Then came a chance to taste Feni, Goa’s traditional alcohol made from cashew fruit — like a desi version of tequila!
Next, we moved to the dining area for an unlimited Goan buffet, and honestly, it exceeded all expectations — especially for just ₹500 per person! There were around 10–12 vegetarian options and 3 non-vegetarian dishes, along with starters, desserts, and drinks. The flavors were authentic and delicious — finally, I got to taste the real Goan cuisine I’d been searching for throughout my trip.
We ended the visit by exploring the farm shop, where we purchased some authentic spices and oils. Prices were slightly on the higher side, but considering they are pure and organic, it’s completely worth it.
After relaxing for a while and capturing some photos amidst the beautiful greenery, we headed back to our hotel, completely refreshed and satisfied.
🌴 Overall, this spice farm is a must-visit place for anyone exploring Goa!
It’s educational, relaxing, and offers a perfect mix of nature, culture, and cuisine. Highly recommended!

Beautiful experience. We witnessed Makarotsav during Navaratri. The temple premises is large with the temple beautifully constructed in the unique Goan architectural style.
There is Anna dasohama (free food service by the temple) and a canteen where you can buy paid food.
Also, the sarees offered by pilgrims/ devotees to the diety are sold / auctioned at very low prices which you can buy here.
Ensure dress code. vendors outside the temple selling Nariyal, Banana, Mala (Offering to God) at Rs 150/- which is much higher. Further you can go temple without this (offering).

We were welcomed with a fabulous ready drink Solkadhi, a soothing, digestive drink made from kokum and were even offered lunch upon our reluctant leaving of the plantation. Overwhelmed at the counter which had plenty of seeds to sell thankfully, since I wasn't going to leave without them either.
Best spot for family visit. Food is unlimited and tasty. Both Veg and Nonveg options available. Staff is very cooperative and gave nice information about all the spices plants they have.
Wonderful experience at this scenic plantation. Although it is a 100 acre private property, we tour a small part of it with a guide that teaches us the therapeutic, cooking properties of the various plants grown there. We’re also served a welcome refreshing hot clear tea at entry followed by a varied sumptuous lunch buffet prior to the tour. The entry fee of Rs. 500 is worth it. There is a small shop at the site where you can purchase fragrant oils, pure Feni, and spices. Highly recommend visiting this spot if you’re a nature lover, spice enthusiast, or just looking for something other than beaches in Goa.
Really enjoyed this trip today, recommended to us by our taxi driver whilst on holiday. We travelled a 4hr round trip to experience it and dont consider the time wasted at all. The guide was excellent, very informative with excellent English. The location is stunning. The entry included a meal which we both found was exceptional, my wife is very fussy and vegetarian and she had 2 servings. Would highly recommend it to anybody that wants to experience something unique.
