Quimper Cathedral is beautiful! The stained glass and Gothic arches are stunning. It’s peaceful, and the unique bend in the building is worth seeing. Even if you’re not big on churches, it’s a great spot to check out in Quimper.

One of the things we love about trips to France is visiting the great monuments to mans dedication to God over the past centuries. I don't care what God you believe in, these massive buildings are something to behold. And to think they built them without modern technology, building methods, etc. I find them both magnificent and awe inspiring.

A beautiful cathedral in the heart of a medieval gem. It has the interesting quirk of a twist in the nave said to be due to problems with the proximity of the river when being extended. Wide range of shops and restaurants around cathedral square.

The archipelago, with its seven islands, boasts white sandy beaches and emerald-green waters that create a tropical-like paradise in the middle of the ocean. Additionally, they provide informative commentary in both French and English during their cruises.
We went on the cruise to the îsles de Glénan starting from Bénodet. Absolutely fabulous! The cruise was great with enthusiastic explanations of our guide on the boat. Fascinating stories involving the audience. Great views, exotic lagoons. Definitely a must do!

We had a great cruise over the river Odet. The trip was from Benodet to Quimper and back. We saw a great amount of house/manors. My wife and two oldest children has also a boat trip with a fast boat towards several ilands to see the great nature between benodet and the ilands. They als saw seals and a lot of birds. Great trips.
Remco G — Google review
Think twice before booking the boat tour. It's not exactly cheap and we were left stranded in Quimper because we were given the wrong time for the return bus to the port by the booking office. And the bus does not hang around if you are given the right time. We arrived 2 mins late for the correct time. We rang the office for help and we were told to just get a taxi back. With 2 small children in tow and not much French language between us we are hoping to get back in time to have a full blow out with the booking office.
Richard M — Google review
TOURIST TRAP: 49 Euros per person for going to a very small island were you can walk around for about 20 to 25 minutes. Nothing there to see except 2 full bars where people are drinking beers and such. The tour was boring-- most of the Glenan Islands are little pieces of land with nothing on them. Certainly overly hyped but very disappointing in person.
Eric B — Google review
We took the cruise on the l'Odet up to almost Quimper. Enthousiastic guide who explains all the sights in both French and English.
Erik — Google review
They have short cruises across the Odet that only cost a couple of Euros. They also do longer cruises to St Marie. If you don't fancy a cruise then the tourist road train picks up outside every hour. Judy be careful they on Monday's they have they market so the train doesn't go to the port until the afternoon.

RELAIS THALASSO Bénodet

Spa
Spas & Wellness
Relais Thalasso Bénodet offers a year-round opportunity to pamper yourself with rejuvenating marine spa treatments. The sea spa is highly praised for its relaxing atmosphere and excellent staff. Guests can enjoy the pleasant facilities, including invigorating massages and a lovely solarium for post-swim relaxation. With stunning views of the beach and sea, this is the perfect place to unwind and indulge in some well-deserved self-care at Kastell hotel.
Very relaxing and enjoyable place. The sea spa is really great. I went there several times and the staff is great, the facilities are pretty nice. Massages were good. The solarium is great after a nice swimming session.
Alice M — Google review
A nice spot to visit on a rainy day. It’s a little pricey for the accommodations (especially when the hammam is out of order and you are told only after paying). Otherwise, it’s a nice place to relax with a large heated saltwater pool, and some other fun additions. We enjoyed the herbal tea and nice view on the ocean in the solarium .
Madeleine ( — Google review
I was there with my mother. We both went into the spa and swimming area and had a massage afterwards. First of all, nearly non of the labours spoke English but only French. Still they tried their best despite the language problems and were really friendly. The spa and swimming area seemed to be very nice but was way smaller than we both thought. There were only very few showers and not too many possibilities to put your bag and your bathrobe. However, this part was nice as well. When we had our massages we both had to wait because it was said to us we had to be there at least 15 minutes before it for no reason. So we waited there standing because there were only fabric sofas so we couldn't sit down with our wet swimming suits. Furthermore, we had to wait only in our bathrobe where everybody else walked threw in their normal clothes which made us both fell very uncomfortable. But the massage afterwards was pretty nice. All in all, it was nice staying there but I wouldn't visit it a second time for this price and that uncomfortable atmosphere which is because of the bad architecture.
B P — Google review
we have been coming to the relais thalasso benodet for many years usually two or three times per year. NEVER AGAIN. the old adage is that if it aint broke, don't fix it. well it was really great before, but now they have fixed it good and proper. before, upon arrival, you were handed a portmanteua for your clothes along with the robe and towels. you went off into a cabin, changed into your robe and swimming costume and handed your portmanteau to the cloakroom attendant, she noted you name on the list and gave you a number. then you went off to have your treatments and if you wanted to, you could go the swimming pool and catch up on some exercise, i used to swim up and down fifteen to twenty lengths of the pool and always felt good after my massage and me swim. well that is all behind us now. upon arrival now you are directed down to the changing rooms which are housed in a dreadful damp and wet steamy room with rows of lockers numbered 1 to about 48 if i remember correctly. the floor is wet because they must had some fancy designer organise the showers so that instead of draining into s sloped drain, the showers spilled out all over the floor so that it was sslippery and wet on a permanent basis. taking you clothes off and getting into you costume and robe is a nightmare, you are terrified of dropping your kit onto the floor because if you did, it would become dirty and wet. why dirty? because people are walking around in the changing room with their shoes on. could it get worse? yes!! much worse. after having had a massage, i wanted to take a shower and rinse off before going into the swimming pool. you would have thought basic hygiene would demand that, yes? well not for the thalasso, there is no hot water and there is NO SOAP!! catastrophe!! on top of this, we were advised that there had been extensive improvements. well we didn't see any, on the contrary, half the stuff in the pool did not work. no jacuzzi, no bubble bench. we also noticed that there were very few subscribers,, what they call "abonnes" whom we have met over the years. when i did recognise a couple of them, they always turn up arouns half past four. i asked them what they thought of the changes. they told me that they hated it and as soon as their current subscription runs out they were not going to renew. we have never felt so let down over anything. when we went to benodet a couple of weeks earlier to make our resrvation and booking, there was no mention of any problems. so be warned. also even the hotel has become very stingy, given that there is no sopan at the thalasso, we took some with us from the hotel. on returning to our room after the thalasso, the soap and toiletries had not been replaced. we had to phone down to reception to ask for soap. when you have paid €760 euros for four nights, you would have thought that would include soap every day. in my view these people are pennypinching and moneygrubbing. under no circumstances would we ever return to this dreadful places.so disappointing even more so when you consider how lovely it was before they made a dog's breakfast of it.

Very overpriced for the quality of facility. Sauna's and steam room area needs serious updating. Not clean in sauna's, steam room, or bathroom. No aromatherapy in sauna or steam.. Didnt feel like a wellness spa, more like a in swimming pool in retirement village or hospital.

église Saint-Blaise

Catholic church

Churches & Cathedrals
(Translated by Google) The church was closed, no information on visiting possibilities to welcome the curious. A couple of parishioners explained to me that all places of worship were closed in the town for fear of damage. So I was content with the exteriors and the ordeal. Far from the tourist circuits, but close to the prestigious parish enclosure of Pleyben, I was delighted to discover this 16th century Gothic church, slightly modified in the 19th century. All historical sites are interesting if you take the time to look at them and study their stories. Prestigious, forgotten or ordinary, I have made it a principle to never compare the sites I visit.

Historical landmark
Sights & Landmarks
The Closed City of Concarneau is a historic walled island town with ramparts dating back to the Middle Ages. The town, fortified in the 14th century and later modified by architect Vauban, is situated on a small island connected by a stone footbridge. Visitors can stroll along the ramparts, taking in panoramic views of the bay, fishing and yachting ports. The city's cobbled streets are lined with half-timbered houses and numerous shops to explore.
One of the most stunning places you could ever imagine. Truly unique and beautiful
Terry H — Google review
A small, fortified city on an island at Concarneau. We arrived at low tide, and left as the tide returned. You can walk part of the ramparts but only one ruined tower. Inside, the city consists of essentially 3 streets--1 main thoroughfare & two streets along the castle walls. Most of the buildings are restaurants and clothing or souvenir shops. A lovely view of the bay can be seen on 2 sides, while the other sides show the adjoining town. Historical signs are few & in French only. We visited on a market day, so parking was a pain. We finally found spots about a mile away. Stop on the castle walls side for a less crowded lunch. A photo opp outside L'Amiral for Magritte & Dupin mystery fans. It's free to enter the close.
Chris C — Google review
Very crowdy and full of shops more or less interesting. A walk around the walls is your best option to admire the port, sea and city.
Olivier O — Google review
Lovely, beautiful ancient place to walk around. Plenty of places to sit and drink or eat.
Hank P — Google review
Fantastic historic old city, we have visited 3 times in the last 20 years and are never disappointed. I can recommend the restaurant Le Penfret
Will M — Google review
Well maintained tourist and historical venue. Views from the rampart are great looking backwards the central part of the village.
Mario M — Google review
Arrive early to access parking. You can spend hours in the many boutique shops within the walls. It is like a Tardis with a lot more inside than you would have thought. Lots of shops, Cafes, and a Museum all within the walls. Enjoy the Celtic Bretagne folk music that is often played within the walls. Outside the town has many attractions too with lovely waterfront Restaurants and seafront walks. Fab place to visit.

Domain Trévarez

Castle
Nature & Parks
Late-19th-century restored castle in pink brick housing an exhibition of its past & floral gardens.
Magnificent and well kept park. Really enjoyed a stroll there with the picturesque views. Don't forget to pack a picnic lunch. Lovely little museum and bookshop in the château itself.
Bianca — Google review
The garden is great at all seasons, and the exhibitions vary according to the years. An interesting, quite romantic place to visit. You can also trust the lunch and snacks served at the café.
Gwena G — Google review
We almost bumped into this place by chance. It is well hidden in the country outside Chateau Neuf Le Faou. Park and gardens are beautiful and the building in itself is a constant memento of the true substance with which the Belle Epoque was made, it being erected at the end of 19th century. It makes you more historically conscious, if I may say so.

Renovated castle with a beautiful garden, fun family games and a lovely picnic area. The visit is not free but very reasonably priced especially for children. Wheelchair accessible and restrooms available across the domain.

Domaine de Trevarez was a delightful surprise! The gardens were bursting with color – flowers and trees of every variety seemed to be in bloom. The renovation has been amazing, the grounds are so well-maintained. And to top it all off, there's a charming little cafe right at the entrance, perfect for grabbing a coffee and pastry before you explore.

An interesting modern, turn of the 20c built chateau. Beautiful walking on mature woodland paths and gardens. The house is undergoing a major renovation but there are areas to visit. Frequent events and exhibitions take place throughout the year when café facilities are available in the old stables. Recommended.

The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Pont-Aven is a museum that showcases the works of artists from the Pont-Aven School, a group that gathered in the village between 1850 and 1890. The collection includes pieces by well-known artists such as Emile Bernard, Paul-Emile Colin, Paul Serusier, and Paul Gauguin, featuring styles ranging from Synthetism to post-Impressionism.

It's remarkable that this impressive museum only opened its doors in 1985. In the second half of the 19th century, Pont-Aven held a considerable appeal for artists. They came here to paint, as the museum's collection attests. The term "École de Pont-Aven" only emerged later. And it wasn't exclusively French artists who came to work in this region of Brittany; artists of other nationalities also came. The museum explores various themes through artworks from 1850 to 1950. The different perspectives provide a beautiful and varied picture of this particularly artistically prolific period in Pont-Aven. A visit is definitely a must for art lovers.

Cité de la Voile Eric Tabarly, located in Lorient, Brittany, is a modern and interactive sailing museum that offers hands-on exhibits, simulators, and boat trips during the summer. The museum pays tribute to Eric Tabarly, a renowned Armorican sailor. Visitors can enjoy experiments, manipulations, 4D videos, and an impressive navigation simulator. The museum also features large submarines for tourists to explore and learn about their role in World War II.
So much more history here than I realized! Invited to see the place by a friend, and knew nothing of the German occupation, the repurposing of their U-boat manufacturing sites. The museums looked to be great, had I known they were there I'd have planned more time so as to be able to take them in! The docks were open to walk along, and the variety of sailing vessels to check out was outstanding. Certainly they are more on the cutting edge of technology here - would be excellent if there was a way to try them out as a working deck hand, though from past experience sailing in France I'd guess it would be essential to have good working fluency in French to try it! (I did not...)
Laine M — Google review
There’s like four parts to the base museum and half of them weren’t open, the submarine part is only french and for each part you need a separate ticket. Entry to just the Tabarly part was 14€ each and the clerk told us it would take about two hours. We took our time but were outside again after 30 minutes and learned pretty much nothing. It’s probably educational if you know exactly zero about how a boat works. We felt kinda ripped off and the only thing that redeemed the trip was that we “accidentally” walked through a restricted section of the k2 bunker which was pretty cool.
Zinsdeel — Google review
Very good place for amateur of sailing and for kids. Kids and adult will love it many explanation et games (simulator, videogames, winches etc..to learn how to sail. Very friendly staff. Great experience you can combine with the « sous marin » and the tyrolienne!!

Fascinating and vast. Lots of handson stuff to do for kids and the surrounding wartime submarine experience is def worth the tour. It's like a film set but real!

Great place, especially with kids. 4stars for parking as it's really terrible, had to park quite far cos local car parks were full ( we got there at11am ) and for the long wait for getting tickets - as there is a lot to do with different tickets, the staff takes a long time sharing all info with each group (it's all good info, but there only 3 staff).

The Sous-Marin Flore-S645 museum in Lorient offers a unique opportunity to explore the K1 and K3 U-boat pens, providing insight into the region's Cold War history. The well-preserved submarine holds significant historical value for the locals. Visitors can embark on a tour of the K2 section of the submarine, which is thoughtfully laid out and illuminated. The multilingual presentation ensures that guests receive comprehensive information.
A great museum that teaches you about French submarine history and the important role this base had during both WW2 and the Cold War. It was a unique experience to step inside a decommissioned diesel submarine. Arrive early for parking close to the museum.
Andy D — Google review
It's best to book a time slot in advance. It's not an extensive museum but it is interesting and the walk through the submarine with audio commentary is worthwhile.
Motorhome Q — Google review
We took the English speaking tour of the K3 building and then we did the submarine museum with the walk though of the submarine and it was well worth the trip.
George A — Google review
The exhibitions before the tour is very interesting and informative. The audio tour inside the Flore is just perfect. My two girls (18 and 8) enjoyed the museum too. It was an emotional moment for me as I did my first dive in La Flore in 1984 during military service. I feel very lucky I'm able to visit a boat I was once a crew (even for a very short time only). The other submaribe based in Lorient I spend most time on was sent to the scrapyard. I will be back to visit the base (again). Merci!
Joel D — Google review
Amazing history, I didn't manage to get on the U-boat which I'm sure would have been great. Seeing the history of the port is very educational and great few hours out. Little food stalls around when you get hungry too
Chris S — Google review
A great day out, visiting the submarine, museum and submarine pen. The staff are all very friendly and extremely informative, particularly the guide for the k3 pen. Would also recommend the sailing trip around the harbour. Plenty of restaurants to choose from so spoilt for choice.
Trevor L — Google review
We are so glad that we visited the museum and submarine itself. In the museum u can watch 3 films telling us history of Bretagne, times of WW2 and now times. To go inside of the submarine it's a great chance to dive in life of marines. I was with my son, his age is 11 and my friend with the son of the same age.
Veronika — Google review
The tour of K2 of the submarine. It was a great experience. Well laid out. Well lit. The story at the start was interesting. This part of the tour they have multiple languages preset so you get all the information. Visiting k3 and the guided tour was interesting but only available in french and to visit k3 you need a guide. The tour guide had a lot of knowledge and passion but was too fast for myself to translate and was not able to absorb the interesting history and story. K2 and sub is well worth visiting alone. Also a great way to escape when the heat gets to hot.

Nestled in the heart of Quistinic, Poul-Fetan Village is a charming living museum that transports visitors back to the pastoral traditions of Brittany. This delightful destination features beautifully restored shops, homes, and landscapes that serve as a stunning backdrop for actors reenacting life from centuries past. The village offers fascinating presentations on historical lifestyles, providing an engaging glimpse into rural French culture. As you wander through this idyllic setting, you'll appreciate the contrast between modern comforts and the simpler ways of life once lived here.
If you have ever been to St Fagans, you will like it here. It's not as big, but there are more demonstrations. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It's such an interesting place to visit and give a easily digestible insight into rural french life. It's definitely worth a visit if you like history.

Visiting this village that lives in a traditional manner was very interesting. There are really interesting presentations on how people lived centuries ago. The landscapes and scenery is idyllic. It was a nice reminder to me how lucky we are to live with modern comforts. And to understand how we got to where we are today. The village is very nice. Some of the sessions are overcrowded so you probably want to go early. Also, tall people should watch their heads when passing under the short doorways! My companion got taken by surprise. Luckily there was no blood but a lot of pain! Great place for kids and families.

What a lovely lake. Very picturesque. It has a man made sandy shoreline , there are cafes and a campsite nearby. You can rent a speedboat or a pedalo in the summer months or just sunbathe or swim. Winter it's all closed and quiet but still very nice.

Amazing experience seeing the lake drained a few years back. It was fascinating to see the preserved trees, houses and reminants of slate mines. Also the cracked mud and little ecosystem that had managed to build up over the summer. Being on a pedalo on the lake a year earlier made it even more surreal.

The Needles of Port Coton, located near the Goulphar lighthouse in Bangor, France, are a stunning collection of jagged rock formations that rise dramatically from the sea. These iconic stacks were famously captured by Claude Monet in his 1886 paintings and continue to enchant visitors with their breathtaking views. The name "Port Coton" reflects the cotton-like foam created by crashing waves around these rocks, adding to their allure.
This viewpoint is by far the best in the island. This is one of Claude Monet's inspiration for his Les Pyramides of Port Coton painting series. Amazing view!

We had an awesome sunset here ! You can go down on the beach for even a better view of the sun between the needles, but the way down there is a bit dangerous, not suitable for kids, however the top is totally accessible. The Citadelle Vauban Hôtel-Musée is a unique and historic hotel located in a medieval citadel overlooking the port and ocean. Alignements of Carnac

Mentioned on

Historical landmark
Sights & Landmarks
The Alignements of Carnac, also known as Garnag in Breton, is a significant prehistoric site with over 3000 megaliths and tombs dating back to around 4000 BC. This area predates Stonehenge by about 100 years and boasts the world's largest concentration of megalithic sites. The upright stones were erected between 5000 and 3500 BC and are spread out across 40 hectares in an orderly fashion.
Visiting the alignments is an unforgettable experience and an absolute must if you're in the region! It's a magical place that both kids and adults will find fascinating, perfect for a family adventure. The megaliths stretch across a vast and stunning landscape, and to make the most of your visit, I highly recommend starting at "La Maison des Mégalithes". This visitor center is full of engaging information and offers free maps, self-guided materials, and even guided tours, if you want to dive deeper into the history and mystery of this incredible place. Whether you choose to explore on your own or join a tour, you're in for something truly special. ⚠️Just keep in mind that this is a fragile monument, and it needs all of us to help preserve it. So please, follow the rules set by the caretakers, respect the site, and let's make sure this wonder stays intact for generations to come.
Laura B — Google review
Visiting in May by foot from Carnac, there was no charge to walk around the outside of the site (there was no option to get inside the fence). The stones are tremendous, I have visited a great deal of sites from this period in the UK and could not believe the sheer scale of it. And this is just one of many "alignments" in Carnac. Well worth a visit and Carnac, the beach, and whole area are beautiful as well.
James W — Google review
We had a 1-hour tour with “le petit train” as it was raining and before the tour we visited the museum (free entrance) and watched an interesting movie. We were astonished by the number of megalithes and their alignment and happy that the train went in all the major sites around Carnac. The train did not stop and we were not allowed to get down of the train, but in any case all the sites were protected by fences and you could see the megalithes from outside - good decision in order to protect them from people writing their names everywhere. We saw the “Alignements” de Kerlescan, Manio, Kermario et Menec and the place where is (inside, close for visits these days) the Tumulus of St Michel. We were impressed and wonder what is the mystery behind these megalithes.
Carmen S — Google review
Legendary & Iconic Historical site If you are a history buff like me then this is the place to come to in France. This place is unique because it is so large, in fact the menhirs are spread on a vast area of a few kilometers. Some are actually now in the sea as some of the peninsulas did not exist in the old days all those millenium ago. It is also really interesting to think that whilst the Egyptians where building the other Karnak, we were building this in Europe. Which really is a lot less impressive, we were basically raising stone and spreading them out. Still this site is amazing so vast so beautiful, even feels peaceful. To be noted at this day nobody knows really what happened to the civilization that created this, all sorts of theories exist. One of the most probable is that they were swamp out by sea level increase and therefore had to abandon these lands. I highly recommend visiting Carnac!
Paul V — Google review
Fields full of menhirs.. Nobody understands what the meaning is till today. Take an 8 km walk or tour train/bus. Reasonable large main parking place and several small ones in the area. Visitor center also with guided walk tour and toilets available. Really cool to see.
Peter M — Google review
The Carnac stones are like nothing I’ve ever seen — thousands of ancient rocks lined up perfectly across the landscape. You can’t walk among them, but the viewing paths give you plenty of great angles to take it all in. It’s one of those places that leaves you wondering about the people who built it and why.
Peter C — Google review
Essential to visit but worth knowing you can't walk through the menhirs unless you are on a guided tour. Visitor centre is worth having a look around and gives a lot of history and context to the site.
Nick L — Google review
Fascinating place. Good place to walk 3-4 km circular routes. Paths lead through megaliths, woodlands and beautiful wildflower meadows. Lots of birdsong and picnic tables. There is even a crepariarie and glace shop en route 2. Local places hire cycles which you can use to ride around and there is a road train or tuk tuks from Carnac for people who less able. It does get quite warm! Visitor center and gift shop offer lots more info plus tours. We went mid may and blessed with gorgeous weather which helped with enjoyment of the place

The Prehistoric Museum in Carnac offers an amazing display of live history, providing a deep understanding of the area's prehistory. Visitors can explore artifacts from the Stone Age and learn about the ancient peoples of Brittany and Europe. The museum provides informative displays, including audio guides in English for non-French speakers. Families can also enjoy engaging sessions led by passionate archaeologists, making it an educational experience for both children and adults.
Amazing artifacts!. It's all in French but it doesn't stop you enjoying the skill of neolithic man. Some beautiful jade and amazing polished axe heads.
Janet E — Google review
This is a beautiful museum with lots of interesting and stunning artifacts and a well told story. However, as so often in France, most of it is only in French. There is a foreign language audioguide which covers about 10% of the exhibits but it is definitely still worth a visit. (You can use the camera function on your google translate app to translate the other parts). I still give it 5* because the exhibits are stunning but I do wish the people who manage this beautiful museum would welcome foreign tourists.
Mike B — Google review
If you don't speak French then you will have a very limited experience here as almost nothing is in English. There is an audio guide, which explains a few of the more important displays but mostly you will be in the dark as to what the objects are. If you speak French then you will enjoy the museum as aside from the language issue the museum seems to be very good.

There is plenty of shade and tonnes to do, I took my eldest (6) and youngest (1) and they both had a great day. This defies description, but if you've kids under 12 it'll fill a day and keep them smiling the whole time. A real, not so well hidden, gem in this bit of Brittany.

A good full day of activities for the younger children. My 4 kids enjoyed the day spent here. Me and my 14yo first had a go on the helicopters at the beginning before exploring everywhere. This place definitely brings out your inner child and is a great place to just have some family fun.

Amazing day out for the family. We have an almost 3 year old. Arrived at opening time when the park wasn't as busy and got to go on all the slides and bouncers that we wanted to. Even in the afternoon it wasn't too busy and the queues were very manageable with a toddler. The ring slide is amazing, one big push and you're off, watch out for the sprinklers! The treetop rope courses were fun and you can bring smaller children on if it's not busy, just give priority to older children on the ones made for them, some are only for older children but the signs are clear about which. The food selection is good, crepes, hot dogs, croque monsieur, panini's and more. Along with snacks and ice-cream. There are some good seating areas on the woodland trail though so we brought a picnic. The woodland trail is good for a calm break with little games and interesting features along the way, as well as a zipline half way along. Most signs are in French and English which is very helpful, the staff were great with my broken attempts are French too! Definitely worth a visit, we'll be going again if we're back in the region next time we come here. Update: we came back! And still had an amazing day, see you next year probably!

Great day out , but bring your own picnic , very expensive to buy food there, also swimwear and towels for aqua park

What a great day out. Very reasonably priced day out with so much to keep the kids entertained. Nice to go to a park where there is plenty of room to have your own picnic. Although busy the queues were not too long. Would thoroughly recommend. Diolch.

One of the most beautiful capes I've ever visited. One side the Atlantic, waves, wind, wild, the other the bay Quiberon, protected of wind and waves, nice beach, blue, clean, and transparent water, beautiful views every side, along the coasts, and on the island Belle Ille. Absolutely to see if you're in Brittany.

The park offers a mix of gentle and thrilling rides, ensuring a fun-filled day for visitors of all ages. Specifically tailored to toddlers, the park features captivating attractions such as a family rollercoaster with a caterpillar theme. While the park is small, it offers plenty to keep visitors entertained throughout the day.
Went with 4 kids 457 and 10yr. They all loved it something to do for all of them! Food was sold onsite at 4 locations not expensive but small portions! There is also a picnic site at the entrance where you can eat your own food! Parking was free! We booked online as it was slightly cheaper! Kids got height checked at most rides so bring tall shoes for the smaller ones or be prepared to accompany them on the rides! Was very clean and well kept!

Had a great day out. Best going weekdays rather than weekends due to fewer people. Picnic area was clean and had plenty of room. Food reasonably priced, staff are very friendly too. In all a positive experience for all.

Very clean and tidy. A lot of investment made again in the last year and more improvements planned for 2024. New rides, facilities and general improvements. Excellent place to take children of all ages, and plenty to do for adults. Thoroughly recommend a visit. Excellent value for money.

Nice day out , but bring a picnic as quite expensive.
Riona C — Google review
Excellent day out, great value for money, food was a little restricted but looks like you can take your own picnic, really enjoyed our day here and hope to return next year! Enough to suit the whole family, couple of coasters, lots for young kids and thankfully Octopus and flume ride which offered much need saturation on a particularly warm day! The splash adventure was such an hit and we spent half our day there! We can’t wait to come back!
M P — Google review
We had an absolutely fantastic day out here. Very clean, with friendly staff. A small enough site to be able to walk around easily yet plenty of rides to fill a whole day. Our children are 10 and 12 and they both agreed it was the best day of their holiday. Good old fashioned fun with rides like bumper cars, log flume and the pirate ship (big shout out to the male operator who was encouraging screaming competitions - he made that ride his own!l). There were also rides for younger children and bigger roller coasters which older kids were loving. Even though we visited in August it didn't feel too busy and by the end of the day we went on the popular Apollo Sream Rocket 4 times without queueing. We took a picnic but also enjoyed some waffles whilst we were there. Food prices were very reasonable and we didn't feel like we were being ripped off at every opportunity like at some themes parks. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant! We absolutely loved it! Prices are very reasonable, pretty much no queue for the rides, variety of rides and attractions for all ages. Staff incredibly nice and friendly. Overall very clean, well maintained and looking quite new! Totally worth it! Keep up the great work!

Really good park, well set out so you haven't got far to walk between rides, and a nice variety covering all ages. Food and drink prices weren't too bad either for a captive audience

The aquarium offers an educational experience for both children and adults, showcasing species that may not be seen in other aquariums. Additionally, there is a section dedicated to highlighting the sea life that can be found along the nearby coast.
Lovely aquarium great for children and adults alike. Some species I had never seen before in other aquariums we visited. Nice section which showed the local sea life that could be spotted on the coast. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Amy Q — Google review
Was way smaller than what we expected, however the collection of species was good and the Aquarium was clean and well maintained. Undoubtedly the main attraction was the crocodile ! We had bought a combined ticket for the Aquarium as well as the Butterfly garden which is a short distance away.On a sunny day, the Butterfly garden is awesome !

Sadly I have to say although fun for the kids it cost 50 euro and is only a small area. I can't recommend for the price. Max family of 4 should be is 25 euro for this place
Jimmy L — Google review
Good wet weather alternative - if a little smaller than many others and needs a bit of updating. The main attraction is the Paris sewer crocodile but they have some fascinating other aquatic creatures as well. Takes about an hour to go through it in reasonable detail with two primary aged grandchildren. Most explanations are in French and English which helps.

Super professional staff, helped to find our towed car (watch the signs!) The breakfast is superb, do not miss it. Clean and cozy, big wall on the window view, close to supermarket and stores and also the nice entrance of the old walled city and the tourist zone. We will be back.

Located well but had a very poor experience here. Nothing individually awful but rather a series of small slights and a lack of empathy or service. Arrived in the morning of a Saturday, with plans to attend a wedding that afternoon. We asked whether an early check in before 3pm was possible and were told categorically no. We then asked whether there was a room or space we could use for my wife to get ready, and were told the hallway mirror and toilet are available to us if we'd like. Checked in to find the room (a "standard" room) was very small, as was the bathroom. Clearly a larger room had been split into two small ones. The room was a little larger than the bed, which is a narrow double of 160cm, and had room to walk around all sides. The bathroom has a standing shower and toilet, with room for one person to realistically get ready. We were disappointed to find that the adjustable shower head was broken and would not stay in position, though it did provide water fine when held in the hand. The cup in the room was cracked. Also we could not find an iron to prepare our clothes. Notably the doors are not self locking so care should be taken to check the door before leaving, as well as when sleeping at night if that is a concern. It was an unusually hot and humid summer day, and the rooms are not air conditioned. Not a problem itself, but we asked for a fan and were told "we do not have fans for the standard rooms". Instead we left for the wedding steeped in sweat. After one night we decided to forgo the second night we had booked and move to another property. The hotel itself is well-located and the ornamental decor is charming and quaint (with a view of the castle rampart), however this is simply not enough to justify the €100 per night price. Each of the points above alone would be a small nuisance, but together made us feel like we were unwanted house guests rather than paying customers.

(Translated by Google) Delighted to arrive at reception to learn that our reservation (made via a hotel reservation site) had been canceled because there would have been a difference of 9 (NINE) euros between the price paid and the price expected by the hotel for the night reserved. Wouldn't it be better to at least contact the customer before canceling? While we didn't have enough time to explore the ramparts, we were lucky enough to spend s sunny evening walking around Vannes. The city is a real gem, soaked in history. If you like castles, towers and wobbly old wooden framed medieval buildings...this is the place to be! Some great food to be had also.
