Lovely island made completely from houses on stilt. It was part of our tour and we had lunch there. The buffet was delicious, seriously better than some restaurants I visited. There are lots of shops to visit. I just found people selling a little bit too pushy.

We visited the village after our trip to James bond island. It is a floating market with plenty of shops to shop for Thailand items. Floating stadium is the highlight of the place. Lunch available is very good and tasty.

Frankly, not on my visit-again list. Not many places disappoint me, but this place surely did. It is a dismal slum on the sea with a desperate attempt to be made presentable to tourists. The restaurants leave everything to be desired for in terms of food. Please do not try the ‘Indian’ food here, it is a crime-in-a-buffet which I only tried because everything else was unpalatable. We had Sri Lankans & Americans in the same group who were equally disgusted. The view ofcourse was awesome without any credit to the village in itself.

Ko Panyi is a fascinating little floating island near Phuket — truly a must-visit spot! Our tour guide took us here on the way back from James Bond Island, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. The village, built entirely on stilts over the water, is an incredible example of how people have adapted to life at sea. We had superb food at one of the local restaurants — fresh, flavorful, and authentic Thai taste. Walking around the floating village, seeing the small shops and the local way of life, was an amazing experience. I also managed to get some drone shots, which looked absolutely stunning from above! However, a word of caution — do not fly your drone unless you have proper registration and permission from the Thai authorities. Every drone flight needs to be registered through the CAAT app , and flying without approval can lead to serious trouble. Overall, Ko Panyi is a wonderful and unique place, offering a perfect blend of scenic beauty, culture, and great food. Highly recommended!

We visited Koh Panyi on a day trip through the islands. Worth a visit but not too much to see there besides the floating soccer field 😊⚽️🥅🏟️. Some souvenir shops and some places for food and drinks on the water side.

Great little fishing village

The courses are amazing. Especially like the Red Zone course. The view is amazing. The service lunch, drinking water and insert repellent. Must wear covered sport shoes to join the course.

A jungle zip line adventure park with various routes of different difficulty. The staff is very friendly and professional. The location is just stunning. The place is under construction so there are some building materials laying around. But this won't effect your day.

We had such an amazing time at the zipline course! The staff was awesome! There are lockers to secure your stuff and water to keep you hydrated. The photos don't do this place justice. The red course was the most exciting for sure!!!

It was full of emotions , I screamed 😱, cried😅, smiled ☺️ at the same time , I had a wonderful time , I will definitely recommend this place 💯not only because they offer a thousands of activities but also because they care more about safety, whether you like adventure or not it’s a must try, they even offer lunch /and water 💦

We went to the Krabi one and it was absolutely amazing! You get safety trained and then an instructor takes you round the course. We had a great instructor called Jame who was absolutely fabulous. The views are amazing and the zip lining part was so incredibly thrilling. They also give you a delicious lunch. An amazing day and I highly recommend this to anyone who is near this place. I will definitely go back when I’m back in Thailand.

We arrived on a motorbike without prior reservation and were immediately greeted by the staff. After safety training, we went on all four courses. They were all very enjoyable, the black one was the only one physically demanding for us. Because of double safety, I wasn't really scared of the height. We had a lot of fun, well worth the visit!

Brilliant zipline - felt very safe, me and my husband turned up on the day, did the training course and went around with a guide. Brilliant views. Great courses (really fun broomstick rides etc) from beginner to more adventurous. Definitely worth the drive from Krabi Town.

It’s an amazing place location but during the trip u will be tired to go there only to sit for 15 min and will continue the rest of the trip during the day. For me I’ll prefer to sit in island rather than roaming around to take pictures only.

We had a slow boat expedition to James Bond Island. Compared to speed boat in which we went to Phi Phi Island, we enjoyed more on this slow boat. Beautiful, scenic cruise 🛳. Canoeing through the caves were adventurous and exciting. Must do... highly recommended

Khao Phing Kan was one of the four stops during this wonderful boat tour. The James Bond Island was amazing. At two other stops, we canoed into caves. Reaching an atoll through the cave was a surreal experience. The boat crew was great who made the tour an enjoyable experience.

What a great experience to visit Khao Phing Kan / JAMES BOND ISLAND on a privet longtail motor boat.The place is a historic monument after the movie "The man with the Golden Gun" was filmed in 1974. My Capitan "TIGER" took me on the most majestic tour with super nice , breathtaking scenic places .

I was expecting something better. Boat trip to the bond island was a nice experience, through mangroves. But the island itself was a bit disappointing and crowded.

The boat trip to Khao Phing Kan / James Bond Island was a pleasant experience, taking us on a scenic route through the mangroves.

I must say that when we went here there were reviews that experience was underwhelming for few people but I politely disagree. The structure is the middle of the water looks amazing and looked so much better than what we saw in the movie There are ample photo opportunities and you want to be careful while swimming in muddy water because of sea shells. Must visit

One of the most beautiful national parks we have visited. This National part is part of the southern of Thailand. It’s famous for James Bond Islamd, it’s amazing caves, limestones and green clean water. We reserved a kayak tour and it was amazing. We went around the island and saw many beautiful caves and rock formations. You have to try this at least once on life.

Take a long boat ride around the bay. Stop at the Koh Panyee village on the water. Pass through the waterways under the rocks. See "The Jumping Tiger" on one of the islands. Pass by the famous James Bond Island featured in The Man with The Golden Gun 1974 movie. Multiple photo opportunities. I suggest a camera with good lenses over a phone. The boat catches lots of sprinkles at high speed so be careful with your camera and phone.

Incredible trip! Amazing views! So much fun checking out James bond island and all the sea caves! The.tour left around 730 and got back around 5ish. We got to see so many Incredible places! I was truly blown away by the beauty of this place! So much fun going snorkeling for my first time ever!!!! I can't wait to be back and go exploring here some more! Def would take the earlier excursion next time!

This was a bucket blister. James Bond Island has been a place I wanted to visit since I discovered it. Now I have! Gorgeous and not so overly packed. Touristy, but not horrendous. Did a bit of snorkeling here for my first time, someone who suffers from thalassophobia, glad I got myself to do it. Definitely worth it.

I would rate 5 stars for this one day leisure cruise. We booked the cruise through the hotel travel agent. The boat is new and spacious. Drinks and snacks are served on board. Even young children and passengers with needed assistance are very well taken care of. We started with a simple early lunch in a small local restaurant near the yacht club. The first stop is a small island which gives you spectacular view of the limestone hills standing out from the sea horizon. Then the highlight is canoeing in Phang Nag Bay through the limestone karsts jut vertically out of the emerald-green water. Next comes the renowned James Bond Island. Tourists will never miss the beautiful sunset view of Phang Nga Bay and the trip ends with a small buffet dinner in the same restaurant. Fantastic cruise and money well spent!

Beautiful limeston mountains and small caves surrounded with blue ocean all around, amazing work of art by nature. It's very touristic but you will be treated to some unforgettable sights.

Incredible experience. We booked a kayaking tour and it was amazing. It’s a day of stuff and can get tiring but well worth it. There are also speed boat tours which one might consider and they go much faster than the ferries.

A must see - beautiful park. Easy walking paths, temple, can hire a car to wander I heard, can camp - not sure if overnight allowed. Easy walking paths, lush green and peaceful. Ticket price - 100 THB for foreign nationals.

Fantastic hike with a rather dangerous trail. Please go well prepared with hiking boots and leech-proof socks and shoes. It’s quite a challenging hike due to the climb at the start (we did the circle trail) If you plan to just go for the waterfall, it’ll be much easier to go from the other end of the trail (~10mins) . But the hike itself was very enjoyable and very very challenging. May actually go again (TW: Blood ; Note the blood in the media is only from leeches and nothing else)

Just stunning, humid but well shaded for the most part, the waterfall walk is fabulous. Good footware is required for the top two sections of the path which goes from path to rock walkway to steps and the basicly a slight boulder climb to the top section. Plenty of little pools to along the way in which to submerge yourself. Lots of wildlife around, a great day out

Amazing escape into nature with trails and hikes leading up to the waterfalls. There are levels to the waterfall and can dip into the pool on every level to cool down.

Khao Phanom Bencha National Park in Krabi, Thailand, is a pristine destination perfect for nature enthusiasts. The park offers well-maintained hiking paths that take you deep into lush rainforest landscapes, surrounded by limestone cliffs and vibrant flora. One of the main highlights is the Huay To Waterfall, a stunning multi-tiered waterfall with crystal-clear pools ideal for a refreshing swim. The park is a paradise for birdwatchers and wildlife lovers, with diverse species to discover. Entrance is reasonably priced at 100 baht for foreigners, making it an affordable escape into nature’s beauty.

Had a fabulous time with the waterfall trail. You can spend 3-4 hours just having fun. This is a wonderful place if walks and climbs excite you. You can bathe in a waterfall too. There is a clean toilet and a juice cafe at the entrance. You need to buy tickets.

A hike there is one of the absolut best thing to do from Ao Nang or Krabi. Get a hiking app like alltrails for details and prepare seriously. The hikes are easy if you got good shoes and if you know how to walk on a mountain path.

We visited after their second opening of the day. They stay open until dinner, then reopen afterwards. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a tour. It was shorter than expected—probably because they were busy—and, sadly, we were the only visitors that day. They really need as many visitors and volunteers as possible to help. Some of the dogs were wary of people, but most were full of excitement. Staff and volunteers were everywhere, doing their best. Unfortunately, with over 1,000 dogs in their care, they rely heavily on people to spend time interacting and playing with them. Each caged area usually has one or two workers, while others are busy cleaning and feeding behind the scenes. I was happy to finally visit this place, though it was heartbreaking to see so many dogs in need. Still, it’s comforting to know they are safe here. Around 500 animals are rehomed each year worldwide, which is amazing—it’s wonderful to see dogs and cats finding loving families. The care and dedication of the team is clear. Some animals are in intensive care, and the shelter even offers free neutering for dogs and cats. Everything was clean, with fresh water and food always available 12/08/2025 visited 🐶🐈😍

☀️ No better way to bask ourselves under the sun with plenty of love!! The canines and felines here are exceptionally adorable and friendly just like their staff here. The whole foundation, with hundreds over kind hearted staffs, come from different departments to work together to spark love and spread meaning for humans’ best friends 👏🏾 Left the sanctuary with our hearts full - understanding that we humans might just need these creatures more than they need us ❤️

An amazing place. Full of joy and determination in the face of incredible challenges. Volunteering here is something I won’t ever forget and I will be back. If you invest some of your time here the dogs, cats and people will return your investment ten fold. The staff are inspiring, you will get to meet lots of beautiful dogs, not always easy but very rewarding.

What an incredible facility run by some amazing people and volunteers. We did the free tour (please consider buying something from the shop and/or donate at the end, they run purely on donations and they have 1000+ dogs and cats to care for) Silvia was our tour guide and is clearly so knowledgeable and passionate about the important work they do here.

Best Dog Foundation I ever encountered. Doing so much good for the dog, and cat, population and the people who live side by side with them in Thailand and South- East Asia. Don't just donate, volunteer for at least 2 days to help the organisation take care of their dog population and their activities. This should be a mandatory activity for employees of companies and corporations to give awareness, understanding and the chance to do, and not only think about, charity in the world. Keep up the good work 🙏🏽, you are the best 💪🏽, hopefully till next year 🤟🏽.

Soi is a fantastic place to volunteer. The staff make you feel so welcome and the grounds are beautiful. Walking the dogs all day is wonderful and sitting with cats at lunch time is the best thing ever. It is impressive how much they are doing for the dogs and cats in Thailand

My husband and I already knew about the Soi Dog Foundation before coming to Thailand, so it was a must-stop during our vacation in Phuket. I was very impressed by the facility, everything is perfectly organized, and the dogs and cats have plenty of space to live the life that was once taken from them. Volunteering here is an experience that helps the animals, but most of all, it helps yourself. We decided to make a donation by purchasing 70 handmade keychains to give our wedding guests as favors. Thank you for all the work you do, it was an experience I will always carry with me. Adopt, don't shop!!!

Visited last April songkran week and it was a blast! 🤩 One of the highlights was the Load & Wallet Bracelet - super convenient and hassle-free! 💳👍 No need to carry wallet or cash while swimming, just load up your bracelet and you're good to go! 💦 The park has tons of rides suitable for the whole family, and they provide life jackets for added safety 👍. Prices are pretty reasonable too! 👍 Overall, a fun day out with the fam - would definitely recommend! 🌴👌

For me it's expensive but we had a 2 bedroom family suite. Rooms modern and clean. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. It's situated next to the airport so Patong Beach and the like about 50 minutes away. Took over an hour to travel to Carnival Magic. The waterpark is great for the kids and adults.

I am a kid and I am telling you this place ruined my whole entire life. Okay maybe not my whole life but definitely my holiday and that is basically the same thing. We came to Phuket Splash Jungle Resort because of the waterpark. The big slides. The fun. The excitement. The reason ANYONE goes here. And then SURPRISE the waterpark was CLOSED. Not a little closed. Not fixing something. Just completely shut. The workers just acted like it was totally normal. So they gave us 2400 baht for four people to spend on the day we arrived. Which sounds pretty good until you remember we got there late and had like five minutes to spend it. And they gave us four tiny drinks that were the size of a fingernail and we could not even choose what they were. They just handed us sad little cups like that would fix anything. It did not. Check-in took one thousand years. There were angry parents everywhere. Kids melting down. Staff looking like they wanted to disappear. We just stood there while chaos exploded all around us. Nobody had been told the park was closed. Everyone was mad. Including me. Especially me. Then we went to check out the pools. If you can even call them that. There was one old crusty pool that looked like it had not been cleaned since the dinosaurs. And another pool that was basically the size of a bathtub. A small one. And the lifeguards were just sitting there scrolling on their phones like they were on a break from caring about safety. They were not even looking at the water, in fact facing a different direction. I could have done a backflip and they would not have noticed. Not that I know how to do a backflip but still. We also tried to do beach soccer because it was listed as an activity. But surprise again. It does not exist. We asked the staff and they handed us a ball that was so hard it could break your foot. It was like kicking a coconut. And they expected us to play barefoot. I bruised my toes and foot so much and I’m quite annoyed because I actually value my toes so no thank you. The food was worse than school lunch. And I like school lunch. They forgot my meal completely. My whole family got theirs and finished eating while I just sat there like a sad little potato 🥔 . When it finally came one hour later it was cold and gross and they even forgot the bacon. How do you forget bacon. Bacon is the best part. You could not even eat outside the restaurant which made no sense. You are in Thailand. It is beautiful. And they want you to sit inside like you are at a boring airport food court. No thanks people! The rooms were okay. Big and kind of nice. But that is not why we came here. We came for the waterpark and the fun and there was NONE of that. Also the buggy thing. We were the first ones to call it and the first ones waiting and then a bunch of people just pushed in front of us and got on and the staff just stood there and watched like it was totally normal. We had to wait for another one while everyone else drove off into the distance like it was a race and we were the losers that lost. Everything about this place made me want to scream into a pillow. I would not go back here if they paid me. DO NOT come here. Unless you want to spend your holiday bored and annoyed and watching other people complain while holding a sad tiny drink and wondering what went wrong.

It was supposed to reopen on October 1st 2025, but it’s still closed as of October 9th! No update, no notice, nothing. Their website is completely useless and misleading. Total waste of time and very disappointing!

Great place for families. Plenty of slides and pools with minimal lines (if any) when we went. Down side is they don't allow you to take any food or drinks in (not even water). Not allowed to take towels in either. Wanting you to hire their towels and buy everything to eat and drink in there, and as you would expect, food and drink is overpriced. You load money onto a wristband (no cash payments inside the waterpark, apart from topping up your wristband) and they refund any unspent balance as you exit. Park could definitely do with some maintenance, rusted/corroded guardrails around the steps to the large slides etc. We bought our ticket the day before (including towels and locker) on Klook website - easy mobile redemption at the ticket office as you enter. And saved quite a bit on their gate prices.

We had a pleasant afternoon; the children had fun, and the adults did too. It's just a shame that the park is getting on in years, and many things no longer work or are run down. The price-performance ratio no longer fits together. A renovation for the park is urgently needed. We would not come back again. The staff were all nice and polite. Prices in the restaurant or at the bar are a bit exaggerated since you are not allowed to bring anything into the park; you are dependent on buying something there. 'Live and let live' should be their motto 😉"

Great for Families. Kids over 12 may think the slides are a little timid. Our 5 year old loved it! It is very run down but that didn't cause us any problems. There are change rooms, lockers, showers. Everything you would expect from a water park. As mentioned by everyone, they don't let you bring food or towels in. In 2024 the towels were about 120 baht. Food was only a bit more expensive than restaurants along the beaches. I took a bunch of pictures of the menus, but they have heaps more than this. Thai food way 150 baht. I also purchased the ticket from klook which worked out even cheaper. Zero lines !!!

Spacious stretch of beach, one end goes to the national park the other end is where the shops/restaurants/food stalls are. We have found this beach so far the best place for us to be able to lie on without the water taking up the full beach.

True locals beach, beautiful sandbars, little tertiary stream running down, just gorgeous and probably close to 1,500-2,000 metres long. Barely any people but locals and wow, just stunning. A nice day trip.

Disgusting! The beach is littered with trash and there's plastic in the water. Swimming here is like being in a soup full of plastic bags. And what's worse, there's a kite surfing school operating right on the beach, among the swimmers! They're teaching beginners, and one of the sails hit me and another guy on the head. A man next to me had to dive down just in time, otherwise he would have been run over by a board at high speed! If the police don't intervene, there will be a tragedy.

It was a totally unexpected discovery towards the end of my trip to Thailand. I loved the surrounding “woods” and beach itself was calm and had many cafes dotting it. It wasn’t too clean though and I found a lot of garbage floating in the water. But the incredible sunset more than made up for it.

Nice beach 30 minutes from the resort I am staying at. Very busy lots of action lots of beach seafood.

A more accessible and peaceful beach. NEAR airport, easily view plane depart and arrive on the beach. The "forest area" offer a very pleasant walk and shade. There are some food stalls in the area for quick bite. There are also more happening food and stalls at other parts of the beach.

Clean serene and near to the airport! You can chill and witness a great sunset!

I absolutely loved my four nights here and wish I could have stayed longer! I was travelling on my own, had never been to a yoga retreat before, and was coming during low/rainy season, so was concerned that the place would be empty and that the weather would be limiting, however, I had nothing to worry about! There were about 15 guests at the retreat during my stay, which was perfect as it felt really calm and cozy and we all became close, with myself and some of the guests continuing to meet up later in our travels after we left the island! The weather was also perfect during my stay, and I really enjoyed cycling around beautiful Koh Yao Noi using the free bicycles provided, and going on a fantastic island hopping trip organised by the team. Even if there had been rain, the atmosphere at Island Yoga is so great that I think I’d have been content reading in my hammock or chilling in the cafe. My AC bungalow was cute and comfy, and the location of the retreat was brilliant - a minute walk to the beach, and just 5-10 minutes from plenty more nature, cafes, and shops. The evening yoga classes and the free Thai massage were deeply relaxing, and the morning classes were energising and the right level of challenging for me, and I was really proud to see my yoga skills develop during my time here. I really enjoyed the morning meditation and chanting, and it was fun trying out tai chi for the first time. The breakfast buffet was truly incredible - so much variety and completely different menu every morning. When I had to leave early on my last day the kitchen team kindly gave me a container to package up some food to take with me - so thoughtful, and I was so thankful as the food was some of the best I’d eaten on my five weeks of travel, so I’d have been so sad to miss out! All of the staff were brilliant, friendly, and helpful, especially Moo, who has the most amazing energy/vibe! If I’m lucky enough to return to Thailand one day then I’d definitely come back here 💚 also - if you’re a cat fan, you’re in luck - so many little cuties all around the island/at the retreat

Island Yoga was OUTSTANDING! Beautiful location, really excellent, kind staff that went out of their way to make you feel warm and welcome. The whole vibe and energy of the place was really exceptional. The yoga teaching staff were very knowledgeable, attentive and committed, I learned so much, improved so much and Ive been doing yoga for 20+ years. And if all that weren't enough, the Tai Chi and Qigong on the beach was transcendent. David and Wisa are exceptional and inspiring teachers, in a jaw-droppingly beautiful setting. I will go back again and again as many do. Don't hesitate, just go! Thank you all Island yoga🙏

Really great experience! Rather on the pricy side, especially when booking a budget room. But the staff is so lovely, they make you feel very warm and welcome and the overall energy was very relaxed and open. Will definitely come again! Food is amazing. Yoga classes were sometimes bit chaotic for my taste, best were the ashtanga style ones by Marina.

I really enjoyed this fantastic, otherworldly place! The energy, teachers and staff are truly unique. I was positively surprised by the quality and level of the classes. The program around the classes fits perfectly. If you want to deepen your practice and meet amazing like-minded people from all over the world, this is the place to be. For me it was a place to come back to myself. I kept extending my stay on the island because of the great atmosphere. In the end I stayed there for 7 weeks in total and I joined the yoga teacher training (YTT). If you’re still hesitating, don’t. Just book and find out for yourself. ✨

We did a yoga training here, and the location was a perfect location for this. Beautiful relaxed island lifestyle, amazing food, very friendly helpful staff, great shala for yoga trainings, lush environment and wildlife, great massages at island yoga and on the beach!

An incredible team of yogis who I hope will always be in my life. An amazing kitchen and coffee shop who served delicious healthy food and wonderful coffee. The resort staff too rocked. I hope to see everyone again.

I have just spent the most incredible 6 days in that place that I now call home. I for sure will come back at some point. The yoga classes and Thai chi on the beach with sunrise were very special. The bungalows with view on the pool are incredible - clean, relaxing, and very cosy. The food was delicious, the breakfast buffet as well as the Thai kitchen and the Sabaidee cafe. The staff were so sweet and welcoming. The yoga teachers were amazing; insightful, helpful and empowering. Plus I met beautiful souls there. I am so grateful for that place which will always have a dear place in my heart. Namaste & Kopunkah 🙌🏼

Spacious parking and toilet available at the entrance. Entry costs 50 TBT per person. The temple looks amazing, those colours, symmetries, fascinating. The stairs are tough, 309 meters up in 600 meters, very steep with tall stairs. There is toilet along the way as well. The view from the top is amazing, definitely worth the effort. There is free water waiting for you at the bottom of the stairs, courtesy of the temple.

Keep in mind that the sun goes down by 6:15pm. We got to the bottom at 6:30pm and they had locked it. Even though there were still people up top. It’s not impossible to jump over the side fence, but if you are going to take awhile to get down because of your fitness level, consider that you will have to jump the fence a bit if you’re locked in. Worth the steps. My husband and I did it in 16-17 mins. We are both fit and were still breathing hard. It’s only hard because the steps are steep and some are taller than others. We went on a rainy day too so the heat didn’t ruin it. Beautiful view, very peaceful. Went on a Wednesday in October We saw a lot of water bottles left around at the top and we dumped them and recycled them. There is a bucket for them. Please don’t be those people that bring garbage and leave garbage up there. There were no staff when we were up top.

Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple) Review: Great View After a Hard Climb ​Wat Tham Suea is a temple visit where you must climb a mountain. To get to the top, you walk up 1,260 stairs (309 meters). ​The stairs are not all the same. Some parts are easy, some are medium, and some parts are very hard and steep. It is a real challenge for your legs! ​But when you finish the climb and reach the top, it is truly worth it. You will see a very large, beautiful golden Buddha statue. The view of the green jungle and big rock mountains (KRABI) is amazing. This feeling of seeing the idol and the beautiful scene makes the hard climb worthwhile.

The trek has very steep steps all the way to the top, so I wouldn’t recommend it for elders or young kids. There are over 1200 steps, and completing the climb and returning can be challenging if you’re on a tight schedule of a tour package. However, we managed to finish the round trip in about 1.5 hours. Overall, a rewarding experience but definitely demanding—plan accordingly!

It’s an amazing place located at the top of a mountain. You need to climb over 1,260 steps to reach it . quite tough, but definitely worth it for the experience. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Krabi mountains. It’s highly recommended for those who love peace, nature, and spiritual vibes. The temple provides free drinking water. So, carry a bottle with you . you can refill it before and after the climb. It’s a must-visit spot, not far from the Krabi bus terminal.

The views from the top are fantastic! That is, if you can reach the very top of the observation deck with the large Buddha statue. You'll have to climb 1,256 steps. If you're not in good shape, the climb will be very challenging. At times, the steps are very steep, almost vertical, and the height can reach up to 40 cm. But if you can climb all 1,256 steps, the stunning views will be worth it! The descent is also challenging!

Views are amazing at the top, even in wet weather. The stairs are no joke though, so wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Took us about 30 mins to get to the top. The temple at the bottom is quite impressive as well.

The 360° Viewpoint at Koh Hong offers impressive panoramic views once you reach the top — the surrounding islands, turquoise waters, and dramatic cliffs are a photographer’s dream. That said, the climb is quite steep and involves a lot of stairs — definitely not for everyone, especially in the heat. There’s no shade along the way, and the steps can be slippery if it’s rained, so proper footwear is a must. While the view is rewarding, the effort required might not feel entirely worth it for some, especially when the island below already offers plenty of scenic spots. A decent experience overall, but manage your expectations and come prepared.

Well the place gets busy by the night and graceful by the morning but always has a vibe there’s always a good view of islands but sometimes due to high tide you have to skip beach days.

Ao Nang Beach is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The water is calm, the sand is clean, and the views make it even more stunning. I loved walking along the beach, especially during sunset — the sky looks magical. The area is also very convenient with lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. Local people are friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. A perfect place to relax, take photos, and enjoy the true beauty of Krabi. Highly recommended!

The town is quite peaceful. The beach is located across the town drive. Clean stretch of beach with beautiful shell and the beach is landmark. Loved the location and the scenic beauty. My personal advise is to stay in a hotel closer to beach and night market. You are always in the heart of all activities.

We booked a ferry from Krabi to Railey Beach. There is a little booth near the docks that sell the tickets and tell you the hours that the ferries run. Once a wooden dragon boat is full it heads out. The boat ride was awesome. Open air and smooth. It was one of my favorite parts island hopping during our trip. When we arrived we wondered until we found a hotel that served breakfast. There was a reasonably priced buffet and we ate there. We spent a few hours at the beach, swimming and enjoying the sun. We saw the rain coming and decided to head to bar and grab a drink. Overall it was a great day, and I highly recommend.

We took long tail boat from Ao Nang at 8:30. We were there before 8:00 but if a group came, they had priority. It was a bit chaotic how the boatmen were organizing the boats. After 30 min we could board. It took 15min and cost 100bhat per person. We were 12 on the boat. When coming back there was 1 more couple waiting. Each of us paid 200 baht and we could go immediately back. West Railay beach is nice with stunning views. Inside the “village” it’s already a bit messy. To go there for 1-day trip ok but I wouldn’t stay there for longer. For cat lovers just check the pictures 😻

Beautiful spot. The swim area towards the cliff has a quite rocky bottom and is shallow at low tide. Further towards the boats the bottom has far more sand and is a nicer walk out to swim.

Railay beach is so beautiful. Especially during the sunset days. They have beautiful long tail boats and the scenery looks wonderful. You can get the long tail boats from Ao Nang to Railay Beach at 200 return. Last boat is at 6.30 PM. Get a boat so you will catch the sunset.

Gorgeous beach but recommend carrying beach shoes to avoid getting hit by rocks especially when going for a swim. The water is nice and warm and sandy patches are good on the beach.

The beach is really relaxing with magnificent views. Has lots of stuff to do, do not stay there for 1 day, stay for more. There is so much to do and see. The first priority place that I'll recommend to you if you will go to Krabi. You can only get there by boat. Its a piece of land surrounded by mountains and cliffs. Kayaked here from railay beach, in about 20mins! Beautiful and secluded, blazed a huge J under some beautifully positioned palm trees etc for some well needed shade. The water was beautiful, clear and warm and definitely worth the kayak trip to this beach! Also possible to explore both the caves at either end of this beach so well worth spending a day here if coming from Ao Nang.

It takes 40 minutes to walk from Railway beach. It is much nicer than Railway beach. Along the way, you get to see some interesting rock formations and there is a rope you can climb (need appropriate footwear, as it is muddy and slippery) but there is a nice viewpoint and a lagoon at the top. Once you arrive at the beach, you can see monkeys and some lizards. People rock climb there too which is interesting to watch

A quiet beach of your own with few tourists making it a can’t-miss spot in Krabi. This pristine beach stretches afar from famous Pranang Spirit Cave till the end of the beach with high limestone cliffs. Food prices might be a bit expensive for some of the restaurants but you can get cheaper options at the grocery store and food kiosks. This mall has everything. Two large pharmacies and Daiso and other stores. The bus to and from the old town leaves from the bus stop/exit near powerbuy. One tip if you want to save money on the bus coming from the bus in the old town bus station: take the pink bus number 3 going in the direction of Sapan Hin park, it’s only 15 baht for the ride. There is a food area as well as a shopping area. It is very similar to chatuchak market. However, I find that there are alot of counterfeit luxury items stalls, infact almost half of them are. Food wise it was pretty decent, we had the live lobster that was around 700g which was 1200baht. There is alot of street type food if youre into that as well.

Naka Night Market is such a fun spot to explore! We spent hours wandering through the stalls, especially checking out second-hand shoes and quirky trinkets—there’s so much to see. The food options are fantastic and super affordable; we tried pad Thai (70 THB), fried rice, Vietnamese spring rolls, and some tasty ribs. Everything was fresh and flavorful, with plenty of local twists. The market is lively but not overwhelming, and it’s easy to find something for everyone. For street food and a good bargain, this is definitely a must-visit in Phuket!

The water is very hot. There are two pools , one of them is too hot to enter at all, and the other is slightly less hot but still uncomfortable to stay in for more than a few minutes. There’s also a river that starts with hot water flowing through the rocks, and after a small waterfall, the water becomes cold. This place is not suitable for children. If you’re traveling with kids, it’s better to choose a different location.

Great place to relax. Water is hot as described. One of the pools actually is hotter than the stream as well as the rest of the pools. The natural stream does have a slight smell to it (as it contains negligible amounts of a few elements - mentioned in the board.) We rode in on our motorcycle and got wet in the rains, we reached there shivering. Entering the hot pool was immensly relaxing after that. 200TBH per person. If you go early when it open you will have the place to yourself.

Beautiful and relaxing place! The surroundings of the hot spring are truly stunning. The water feels incredibly pleasant and soothing — I only wish the time limit wasn't just 20 minutes, because you could easily stay in there for hours. One big advantage is that the entire hot spring area is sheltered and located under trees, which provide plenty of natural shade. A wonderful experience overall! However, it's important to be very careful as the stones around the spring are extremely slippery.

This is the hot spring I would recommend for tourists. Water temperature is so nice, place is clean and well maintained with adequate signage. Waterfall is gorgeous and most importantly not a boiled egg in sight!

Great walk. Please note its 400baht no atm etc nearby so you need take cash. The walk is great this is my second time here. The pool where you can swim does get very busy so i highly recomend leaving very early they say it opens from 10 but when we got there there were already heaps of people walking back i would say try and get there around 9am min. Also do the full walk past the swimming area to the blue pool its a great walk and worth the visit since while your there. No many people do it so its relaxing and only takes 15min enjoy

A place for nature lovers. A little bit far from Krabi but good to go there. You walk about 1 km from the entrance to emerald pool and you can walk more to the blue pool. Everything is beautiful. You feel the jungle. Its worth the effort.

We got there 10 minutes before opening (which is at 8:30) but they let us in anyway. There are 2 routes to the emerald pool, one scenic through the swamp (1000m) and one following the road (800m). We had the pool for almost ourselves for about 20 min, then it got busy real quick. The rocks are extremely slippery but the water is very pleasant. Blue pool opens later and it is another few hundred meters walk to get there.

So pretty, you have the choice of taking a nature walk to see all three pool or to take a straight road to the emerald pool, the nature path is 1km and the straight path is 800m, I personally reccomend taking the nature path and taking your time, the walk itself is beautiful and you get to see all the pools before having a nice swim in the emerald pool. Many local operators propose a 45-min boat trip to this island from Chalong because it's the nearest island. Highly recommended for a half-day trip or as part of a multiple island tour.

My visit to Coral Island in Pattaya was a memorable experience filled with natural beauty and fun activities. The island is known for its clear blue water, soft white sand, and peaceful atmosphere, which makes it a perfect escape from the busy city. The boat ride to the island was smooth and offered beautiful views of the ocean. As soon as we arrived, the environment felt refreshing and calm. There are many activities to enjoy, such as parasailing, banana boat rides, jet skiing, and snorkeling. Parasailing was especially exciting because of the stunning aerial view of the sea. The water was clean, and the beach was well-maintained. There are also several small restaurants where you can enjoy fresh seafood and drinks while relaxing under the shade. The staff and guides were friendly and helpful throughout the trip. They explained safety rules clearly and made the activities comfortable even for beginners. The only downside is that the island can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but the experience is still enjoyable. Overall, Coral Island is a great destination for anyone visiting Pattaya. Whether you want adventure or relaxation, the island offers a perfect mix of both. I would definitely recommend it.

Coral island was amazing! Beautiful waters, could clearly see the fish in the water that were swimming in the shallow water. A huge bar has been set up where drinks and food can be ordered. There was also chairs and tables if you want to rent (its expensive, we just used our towels). Vibe here was pretty great, would go again!

Beautiful island, small yet amazing. The water here is clear and refreshing. You can enjoy snorkelling around the shores here as well but be careful of low tides as it brings up alot of sea urchins which can cause you a great deal of pain.

Long hike up the hill. Well worth it when you get there. Spectacular views of koh phi phi. Nice café at top to rest,refresh and take advantage of such great vistas. Café very reasonable prices,nice to see not taking advantage of tourists in anyway. Will not disappoint doing the walk up there.

A lookout point situated high up from where you can see phi phi don, maya bay, krabi in the distance. The view point opens at 5:30 am and last entry is somewhere around 6:30 pm. It has an entry fee of 50 baht. The climb is really steep rapidly gaining altitude. It’s a mix of stairs and slopes and at the end you have a viewing deck. You can expect a lot of crowd during the sunset time. There is also a cafe at the view point. There is photography service available at the top but it’s only during the day. Sunset from here is very picturesque. Sun sets behind the hills of phi phi and the sea changes it’s colours from turquoise to deep blue to Orange and then deep red within a few minutes.

Being the highest and hardest to get viewpoint of the three, this hidden gem doesn’t get the same numbers of visitors but offers by far the most stunning and beautiful view. I definitely recommend taking the hike and going for it.

Comparing to Viewpoint 1 and 2 it’s nothing special. The way to the viewpoint is dirty with rubbish. But you can see a bit of Thai village on the other hand. In my opinion, not worth climbing there if you are already on viewpoint 2 which is the best. To enter viewpoint 3 you need to pay 30 baht person and remove your shoes.

Human food is harmful to them and directly leads to aggressive behavior and potential bites, which require immediate medical attention and rabies shots. Furthermore, please be vigilant with all personal belongings. These monkeys are notorious thieves and will snatch anything shiny, loose, or resembling a food container—including water bottles, sunglasses, and bags. Keep everything zipped and secured, preferably in a dry bag, and maintain at least a three-meter distance at all times. Visit early to beat the crowds, observe quietly, and help keep this incredible natural area pristine. The beauty here is undeniable, provided you prioritize safety and respect the wildlife's space.

This was a really cool thing to see- the monkeys come out when they know there’s food. I did however want to throw some people in the water that think it’s okay to 1) touch the monkeys or try and pull their tails or 2) splashing water on them. Like leave them alone if you can’t be nice. Some tourists should not be allowed to be tourists. It was a really beautiful area too.

picturesquely beautiful like other beaches in the region ! beach is very small with the cliffs starting almost immediately you land. No shops or people other than tourists, but it can get pretty crowded. And yeah you will see a lot of monkeys playing around !

This is one of the most famous Monkey Beaches, a picturesque cove on the southwestern side of Phi Phi Don Island. It features white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, and is home to a population of wild macaque monkeys. Visitors often reach it by long-tail boat or rented kayak from Tonsai Bay and enjoy swimming and snorkeling there.

Spotlighting the white sands, clear waters and ofcourse it’s monkeys. Monkey beach is comparitavely small, secluded stretch of sand fringed by limestone cliffs. But the monkeys can be aggressive and unpredictable and feeding them is not allowed risk of theft or bites one have to be careful. Monkey Beach is undeniably a highlight of Phi Phi Don- a beautiful and exotic spot where playful macaques bring a wild energy to paradise.

Okay, the beach is beautiful, white sands and nice cliffs. However, the monkeys will steal anything you have. We took a canoe and I got my dry bag and my friend her backpack, but my grocery bag was still in the canoe with of course no food. They tore it open anyway (just to find sandals). We stood in the water too terrified to do anything. Also another monkey took a water bottle from another canoe and opened it. To conclude: monkey Beach is nice from a distance or without bag!!

Beautiful Maya Bay Beach surrounded by a lagoon. When I visited here a few years ago, I was not allowed to land on the island due to environmental conservation reasons, so I am very happy to be able to return to this place and land on the island again. There are baby sharks on Maya Bay Beach, although I was not able to see them.

We experienced the Phi Phi Island Tour by AM Travel and Tour on 29th September with our family (2 adults and 2 kids). We booked it through PROUD Travel and the package cost us 5,200 THB, including an Indian buffet lunch. The trip started from the pier in Phuket, and after about a 45-minute speedboat ride, we reached Monkey Beach, where we spent around 40 minutes. The beach was clean, and it was fun watching the monkeys up close (though it’s best to keep some distance). Our next stop was Viking Cave, where we learned about its history and the famous bird’s nest collection — the boat stops close enough to take photos and enjoy the view. We then moved to Loh Samah Bay for about 45 minutes, followed by Pileh Cove, which was one of the highlights of the trip. The speedboat anchored in still turquoise waters near the cliffs, giving travelers the chance to swim and soak in the surroundings — truly beautiful and peaceful. The last stop was Khai Island, where we spent around 1.5 hours relaxing on the beach and enjoying some snacks and drinks. Unfortunately, we couldn’t visit Maya Bay due to bad weather conditions. The return journey was quite rough because of choppy waves, and those 40 minutes on the speedboat were honestly quite scary, especially with kids. Overall, it was a unique and memorable experience, offering a mix of scenic beauty and adventure. The crew was friendly and helpful throughout the trip. However, I’d advise travelers to check weather conditions before booking, as the sea can get rough and may affect both safety and comfort.

Phi Phi Leh is the smaller island in this region and home to the Pi leg lagoon and the Maya bay and beach. Stunning island and beaches. We were allowed to swim in the bay and lagoon area. The water here is more emerald than blue.

Wow, wow , Wow ....GO early (7-8 am) to avoid mid day crowds and heat, but......GO GO GO. This is a dramatic , beautiful, stunningly gorgeous island located about 30 minutes by boat from Koh Phi Phi Don ( the main Koh Phi Phi island) . You can go with a group ( usually less expensive) or you can rent a private boat taxi service ( my choice . ( I paid 2000 Thb , about $60.00 USD for 4 hours)) . I wanted the flexibility with snorkeling as my priority. I did not want to go to the over-crowded Maya Bay stop . I still saw it from the boat but didn't walk on the beach.... I also avoided the 400 Thb fee to disembark at Maya Bay.😁😁🤟🤟 Snorkeling recommended....see turtles, shark, giant clams, all manner of corals and fish. Even if you don't want to snorkel, this island should be visited. USE RESTROOMS 🚻 BEFORE YOU GO!!!!!!!! Handicap is doable with caution ⚠️. ...entering and exiting the boats to get there requires a certain amount of mobility Final Take. Strongly recommended for anyone wanting to be dazzled by this stunning location. Bring a phone and / or a camera 📷....photo ops EVERYWHERE 🤔!!!!!!!

Maya Bay is one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever visited. The sheer beauty of this iconic beach exceeded all my expectations, and it’s easy to see why it became so famous after being featured in The Beach. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I’d stepped into a postcard-perfect paradise. The first thing you notice is the dramatic limestone cliffs that surround the bay, creating a sense of secluded serenity. The turquoise water is so clear you can see the sandy bottom even from the boat. The sand is soft, powdery, and incredibly white—perfect for walking barefoot. The lush green landscape adds to the dreamlike vibe of the place. To help preserve its natural beauty, access to Maya Bay is now limited and boats aren’t allowed to dock directly on the beach. This system is a fantastic way to protect the ecosystem, but it also means you’ll need to swim or wade a short distance from the boat. Honestly, it’s worth the effort. I really appreciated the environmental efforts in place. There are signs everywhere reminding visitors not to litter or disturb wildlife, and some areas are roped off to protect the coral reefs. Our guide shared a lot about the bay’s history and its ecological importance, which made me feel like I was contributing to preserving this beautiful spot for the future. That said, the beach can get pretty crowded even with visitor limits. It’s best to go early in the morning to avoid the rush. You’ll also want to book your tour in advance since spots fill up quickly. If you enjoy snorkeling, you’ll love the waters around the bay. They’re full of marine life. It was both peaceful and exciting at the same time. it’s an experience. The stunning scenery, the crystal-clear water and the feeling of being surrounded by nature make it unforgettable. Even though it’s popular and can get crowded, it’s a must-visit if you’re in Phuket. A quick tip , bring a waterproof bag for your things, wear reef-safe sunscreen and don’t forget your camera. Trust me, you’ll want to remember every moment here.

Just be prepared for a bustling environment, and if you’re looking for some peace and quiet, try to visit early in the morning or later in the evening.

Extremely popular and iconic beach, The sand is so soft, at the moment you are not permitted to swim in the bay in an effort to conserve the sharks. An inteseting walk from the docking area to the actual beach. Well worth a visit.

It’s an extremely beautiful beach, unfortunately destroyed by mass tourism. We departed for Maya Bay at 9:30 and arrived around 10:30, which turned out to be already way too late. Just hordes of tourists, you had to “wait in line” for your turn to take a picture/selfie of this superb beach. Sharks are there, too, so don’t go in too deep. In order to get the vibe of this beach, you need to arrive like at 8am or earlier, I guess.

Incredibly beautiful and very well-maintained. Although the place gets extremely crowded and everyone seems to be in a rush, it still remains neat, clean, and truly worth visiting.

This bay is absolutely breathtaking!! The water is so blue and the scenery around is beautiful! I was also lucky enough to see a black tip reef shark! Only problem is the crowds. I even went at 6am and there were still crowds. I would recommend just going in the afternoon so you can really get the full electric blue water experience. The crowds are the same no matter what.

Maya Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches and islands I've ever seen in my life. We were lucky enough to take a tour before sunrise, leaving at 5:30 AM, and arriving just as the island opened, so we had it all to ourselves. The beach is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and dramatic cliffs surrounding it. While swimming is not allowed to protect the environment, it's the perfect place to enjoy the surroundings and admire the breathtaking landscape in peace. If you have the chance to visit, going early in the morning is highly recommended for a tranquil experience.

When I was there in June, it was low season in Ko Lanta. Not many tourist which made the beach quiet and serene. I did not stay in this Bungalow, I visited the beach which was a shared beach among few other hotels or I should say it is a public beach. The beaches were clean, sandy and long. Good for a beach run and the sunset was good for a meditative mind.

Nice beach for swimming before sunset. The waves was not too strong. The beach was clean and no dirt. When I was here, there were not so many tourists. So serene!

Simple place, the owner wants to keep it that way to make sure the 60+ y.o. mainly German and some Scandinavian residents are not disturbed by kids/families or so. Also, owner and staff is friendly but very rarely ever smiling. Like a big dry lawn with some trees to give shade. Dont ever be tempted to get close to anyone else's sun chair, or you'll get a stare and annoyed comment auf Deutch. Bakery with nice cinnamon rolls and custard bread etc. Coffee ok and the food menu is really great value. So definitely go there, but don't expect to feel warmly welcome...

Service was a little slow. But the manager apologized for the delay. Location is great. Live music was relaxed and enjoyable. Food was tasty and afforable 160 - 300BHT per person.

Possibly the best beach on the island. Very wide, long, nice sand, with waves. There are rocks out in the water though, I saw one poor lady had cut her foot on the rocks.

July 11, low season. Windy day, sea a little rough yet about 10 divers/ snorklers can be spotted frm shore. Conditions too dangerous for me. North end of bay has smaller waves.

Kantiang Bay is definitely a hidden gem on the island. It is quite secluded and unfortunately no direct sunset view, but the sceneries are beautiful! There are a few famous bars here to relax. Good to have a stroll, especially at sunset time!

Excellent choice if you're looking to get away from the crowds. Absolutely stunning beach, just huge - with amazing soft sand. Unfortunately as with many beaches these days it falls victim to the amount of pollution we have the world over and does get a lot of washed up debris plastic. You will need your own transport - we hired a 250cc which managed fine but you might struggle on a small scooter. Couple of places down here to eat and stay. We stayed at the Bamboo Bay Resort which sounds a lot posher than it is! very happy with everything there, food was great, the rooms were good compared to Thai standards. Its all set on the side of a hill so involves a bit of uphill walking. Would definitely go back.

Crystal clear waters on an immaculately clean beach welcomes the visitor. Seems to be a popular place to moor yaughts and shuttle boats from the 5 star resorts transport there customers to and from the bay.

So so. The beach is very wide and have several river mouths, and they are pouring out on the beach with wastewater and trash. Another bad thing in my opinion is that there are NO single tree on thee whole beach where you can hide in the shade. You need to buy a parasol or rent one and a sunbed if you want to hide the sun. Otherwise a really nice bay.
