Nestled along the stunning coastline of Vietnam, the Mui Ne Fishing Village Market is a delightful gem that captures the essence of local life. While it may be smaller than its counterparts, this market offers an authentic experience with an array of fresh seafood that reflects the village's rich fishing heritage. Visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere, where local fishermen showcase their daily catch and vendors display colorful produce.
Very fun experience!!! Finally got to do train street. I had a glass of red wine. Got some amazing pictures/videos. The lady was very helpful taking pictures of me and my boyfriend. Good atmosphere. Handy tip! My boyfriend ordered a Hanoi beer. If you keep the bottle top and lay it onto train track before the train comes. It flattens the top making a souvenir

One of biggest main markets in Thanh Hoa city. Good place for tranditional garment and textile lovers. This market is focus on clothing, sewing , fixing and accessories for fashion in this city. The fresh food and delifood here has good quality. Snacks and desserts shops has fairy good taste and. leaniness. Closing time is quite soon. Highly reccomend visit at morning time and after 3pm.
Nicole P — Google review
Train Street in Hanoi (Southern section) is definitely an experience and worth checking out at least once. In just an hour, we saw three trains pass by—each with plenty of carriages and very close to where we were sitting. It gets crowded, though less so than the main northern stretch, and food and drinks are a bit overpriced, as expected in a touristy spot. You do need to stay seated and alert, as the train comes through fast and close. A unique, exciting place for a quick visit and some great photos and videos
John W — Google review
A must-visit experience in Hanoi. You can contact any cafe to know the train timing and book a nice seat to have the experience. Trains run too close to you and please take necessary precautions for safety. The place is easily accessible by Grab and has no restrictions like the one in the North.
Deepak K — Google review
I’m so glad I decided to go to the southern part of train street. It was much less crowded. Don’t let the first restaurant pull you in. Keep walking until you get closer to the curve in the tracks. It makes for a much better photo op. The servers of all the restaurants were great about taking pictures and helping to pose people. I was really surprised by just how close the train gets. It definitely gets your adrenaline pumping
Katie F — Google review
Must-see, must-do experience. It is unique in its own way to sit down for a coffee or a beer and watch a regular passenger train run less than an arm's length away. When we visited the best time to be there was 7pm as before 7 and 8 the were 3 trains passing by.
Daniel N — Google review
So much fun. Definitely a unique experience you can only get here in Hanoi. It is a must visit and try when you are traveling to Hanoi.
Ji Y — Google review
A good place to enter the Train Street to avoid crowds. No police checks, some cafe owners are pushy but you can easily chose where you want to sit.

It's a mix of both clean and not so clean beaches. Most resort adjoining the beach have maintained well. The open places are more occupied by the local fishermen. All in all a good walk during evening to enjoy the weather..
Satish R — Google review
We are there to celebrate my birthday last nov. 28 we stay at Meraki Oasis Hotel who has this very beautiful infinity pool. The wave is very high and strong during that time so I dont recommend swimming on the beach. So many local seafood restaurant. This place is very accessible from HCMC so if you want to escape the bustle of the city come in this tranquil beach place.
Leo I — Google review
Beach is more or less gone - there are some parts of sand at some resorts and at the western end (Kite surfing school) and at Papa Kite school, where I got my birthday Kite day! (great) The water is green brownish (5.Dec) the clouds are grey...
Torsten S — Google review
Beach experience was ok, water was semi clean, and the fresh seafood was delicious. Wasn’t crowded which was perfect, was very quiet and peaceful overall
James N — Google review
Stunning beautiful beach, but you can't swim. The undercurrent is so strong that just having a paddle in the water nearly takes your feet from under you. You can't sunbathe it's impossible. The wind is around 34 knts constant. The best conditions for surfing, etc. I'm not sure if the wind ever actually dies down.
Diane L — Google review
Very beautiful view 😍😍 I like it but it is not thing there that much. It is very peaceful 🤤
Nattapob P — Google review
Dirty, a lot of dead fish & squid thrown out of the sea (I don’t know what’s causing this). Only good for kitesurfing. The sunset spot is more for swimming.
Julia K — Google review
April 2024. I couldn’t be more disappointed. It has nothing in common with the photos. Not a single palm tree. The beach is full of rubbish. It is free but simply not maintained. Next to it there are some abandoned resorts. In about 5 minutes walk you may settle on private resort beaches where there is no trash on the sand but still some in the water.

Red Sand Dunes

Đồi Cát Đỏ, also known as the Red Sand Dunes, is a striking dune system located near the sea in Mui Ne and Phan Thiet. These dunes offer a unique experience with activities such as sand sledding and breathtaking views of the sunset. Situated just a few kilometers from the city center, they are easily accessible on foot or by tour.
Very pretty! If you’re not doing the jeep tour, go during the day and it’s basically empty! We took some awesome photos.

Red Sand Dunes. Whoever named this place clearly lost a fight with a Crayola box. Spoiler: it’s not that red. It’s more like “slightly dirty orange” or “did someone spill paprika on the beige dunes.” If you came here expecting Mars, congrats, you just landed in your neighbor’s cat litter tray after taco night. What’s actually here? Sand. Shocking, I know. A few locals selling drinks and snacks because, let’s be honest, they know you’ll cave once the sun starts deep-frying your soul. That’s it. No ATVs, no cinematic vistas, just a sandy hill and your own bad life choices. But here’s the plot twist: it’s free. And that alone makes it superior to White Sand Dunes, where you pay actual dongs just to get sunburned and robbed by gravity. Here, you just stroll in, sink into sand that looks like it gave up trying to be red, and pretend you’re cultured while sweating through your clothes. So yeah, Red Sand Dunes: still boring, still sand, but at least your wallet survives. Call it the Costco sample version of tourist traps—cheap, slightly disappointing, but somehow better than the overpriced full product.
Wade W — Google review
It is a fun experience to ride the atvs on the sand dunes. The guides take great photos of you throughout and help you stear only as needed.
Megan J — Google review
There are not only here to play the sand dune. this is just one of it. My driver bring here when I say I want to go to sand dune but so at first we just want to take photo and leave to the ATV place but after we takephotos. there was a local girl offering us to play the sandboarding and my friend want to play it since the price they offer is 50k/board so we think wejust want to rent for 2 board only and just take turns to play. we need to walk few minutes to arrive at place where not so many people and play there. thegirl offer to take our pictures and record videos of us playing that sandboarding. After the session end, she ask for tips and we agree to give tip100k. my friend already give 100k to her but she ask for another 100k to give to her mum. we pissed off because its too much as we are not that rich to givetip 200k easily! but because most of us are soft hearted so we give 50k more to her. that’s all. So moral of the story, if they offer to take your picture, just say no if don’t want to pay tips at the end of the game. if you want to play ATV, you need to go to other place, not here. I will share it at the next review.

Family had a blast! Best to go early morning when its not hot and less crowded. Free to wonder around, 50k for sled, and great scenery for desert and ocean view
James N — Google review
Very pretty but wait till you’re at the top to hire a sand board and make sure you have enough to tip the woman or she won’t like you.
Adam — Google review
Nice place and sliding but when I tipped 40k for 10 minutes (which I think is ok for Vietnam) he got angry and yelled at me to give him more. So just go alone and don’t use any service of local people as it will destroy your experience of this place.

The upright Lady Buddha stands sentinel over fishermen as they venture into Mui Ne Bay, ensuring their safe passage.
Good place. I stop to ask a lunch here. The people are so nice, friendly and lovely. Will come back if possible.

Tranquil spot away from the buzz of Mui Ne. The people are friendly too. No monks present when I visited. It's not quite as elaborate as other Buddhist venues I've visited, but still worth a quick walkabout.

Mui Ne Fishing Harbour, located at the end of Mui Ne Bay, showcases the traditional fishing industry with its colorful vessels ready to set sail. The area is also home to the popular Basket Boat used by local fishermen for transportation and carrying supplies. Nearby, Phuoc Thien pagoda offers magnificent views and a glimpse into local religious practices.
You must visit here if in Mui Ne, such a picturesque harbour. Lots of shells everywhere too!

Mui Ne Fishing Harbour is a vibrant and picturesque spot that’s perfect for photography enthusiasts! As you arrive, you’re greeted by colorful fishing boats bobbing gently in the water, creating a stunning contrast against the blue sea. The early morning light casts a magical glow over the scene, making it an ideal time for capturing those perfect shots. The hustle and bustle of local fishermen preparing for their day adds an authentic charm to the harbour. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to snap candid photos of the fishermen, their boats, and the unique lifestyle that thrives here. Whether you're looking to capture the beauty of the landscape or the daily life of the fishing community, Mui Ne Fishing Harbour is a must-visit destination that offers a slice of local culture against a breathtaking backdrop.

Red Canyon

Nature & Parks
Canyons
Red Canyon is a must-visit destination when in Mui Ne or Phan Thiet. Accessible by bus, the canyon offers a serene experience as you walk barefoot along the shallow and warm river for about 30 minutes until reaching a picturesque waterfall. The eroded white and red sand earth walls create stunning formations, providing plenty of photo opportunities. It's important to note that the entrance is at Vita Garden mini zoo, not at the fairy stream closer to town.
Red Canyon is a captivating hidden gem near Phan Thiet, Vietnam, known for its stunning red and orange rock formations that create a striking landscape. The journey to the canyon involves a delightful walk along a small river path, adding an adventurous touch to the experience. Nature trail walks like this are truly my favorite, and the best part is that there’s no entry fee, making it even more appealing! To reach this beautiful location, you’ll need to rent a jeep, as it’s included in the package that also covers visits to nearby fishing villages and various dunes. Each stop offers its own magical charm, making the entire experience unforgettable. As you explore the canyon, the vibrant cliffs and tranquil surroundings invite you to connect with nature. Don’t forget your camera—every angle presents a picturesque view! If you’re in the area, Red Canyon is a must-visit for anyone seeking adventure and natural beauty in Vietnam.
Rijju — Google review
Nice to explore the little river and sighstseeing of the canyon wall. The “canyon” is not big. I say “canyon” because it is just a steep dune with erosion. At the start of the river there are some souvenir shops and a guy with a snake around his neck. He wants you to take a picture with it and pay 50k viet dong for it.
Joep U — Google review
I saw the trash at the start of the stream and turned back. I decided to wait at the café while my family went ahead. They said the first part of the stream smelled. The canyon itself wasn’t amazing. If you’ve got time, you’re welcome to visit here as it’s free. But I would definitely recommend a pedicure after 😬
Sheila A — Google review
Beautiful scene. You have to walk on the river for around 1km to get here. Interesting experience!
Leo N — Google review
Very interesting place. It is worth paying attention if you are vacationing in Mui Ne or Phan Thiet. We drove there from Keg to Phan Thiet for bus 1, then near Koop Market was transferred to bus 6 to Mui Ne and asked to stop us near the Red Canyon. We did not find the entrance immediately, we followed the tourists with another group. There it is necessary to go barefoot, very beautiful. Walk on a shallow and warm river for 30 minutes and at the end a waterfall. On the way you can buy ice cream and water. Entry there is a penny from the local residents, before it was free. The sand is very hot in the sun and there are small snakes, carefully!
Елена П — Google review
Lovely place. Nature surprises you to another level here. Linestones, greenary, red sand dunes, and a fairy stream of clear water.. Just woww. Don't miss this place when in Mui Ne.
Vineet C — Google review
A nice and relaxing walking place! But it would be much better if they should clean both sides of the stream, shouldn't be plastic or bad smells from toilets of rest stop or drinking places
Thuy V — Google review
Cheap and nice! In fact excursion isn't so bad , but definitely I would say that's not excursion. This is real nice walk through. That gets you first little cool and than little hot. If you are close this place , strong recommend. Take care

Nestled in the heart of Phan Thiet, Vita Garden Mini-Zoo is a delightful little escape that promises both relaxation and fun for visitors of all ages. Opened just two years ago, this charming mini-zoo offers an intimate experience with various animals, making it especially appealing for families with young children. Guests can enjoy leisurely strolls while interacting with creatures like hedgehogs, monkeys, and even snakes! The atmosphere is perfect for creating unforgettable memories amidst nature's beauty.
Very cool. Worth the trip out here. The experience is a slow easy stroll down a shallow stream in a canyon. The walls of the canyon are eroded white and red colored sand earth that have formed sculptured formations. Lots of great picture opportunities. This is the place to enter the canyon not the fairy stream further down the river closer to town. You would need to walk twice as far to get to the good parts of the canyon at the fairy stream. The price of admission is 10,000 vnd or buy a bottle of Saigon beer or a coffee for 20,000 vnd. This also gets you into the mini zoo. Oh ya and if you want to spice it up a little you can get shots of cobra, centipede, or other snake alcohol before you head up the stream.
Chad — Google review
I would normally give 5 stars, as the place is beautiful 💘, but keeping dogs in the small cages like this ... how can you do this to dogs that usually are the most loving beings that exist?!! You should start treating them with love and respect.
Kamila M — Google review
ABSOLUTE TIERQUÄLEREI !! This is absolute ANIMAL CRUELTY AND ABUSE ‼️ The animals have cages that are far too small, they can’t move around, show behavioral disorders, and seem completely unhappy. If you insist on keeping wild animals, or animals at all then please not in such tiny enclosures and treat them well.Pure animal cruelty.‼️
Kathrin K — Google review
It's a nice place on your way to the waterfall. You can literally make a pit stop here, sit near a pond, eat / drink, take a look at some animals in a small zoo, and come back on track on the fairy stream.
Strabby C — Google review
The fairy stream is cute. Nice little walk in the water. We saw lots of butterflies and cows. The mini zoo is nice. Looks like most animals are happy and taken care of. Monkey looks bored ha Nice guy. 5k each to have a little walk around. Beautiful lake and dogs around. Cute spot!
Kenny G — Google review
Highlight of the ferry trail for me. They have hedgehogs, monkeys, alligators (or caymens not sure), snakes, rabbits, and a bunch of birds. You can even take a picture holding a snake. Also it's free (or at least I didn't get charged for entrance). They also have drinks and food available.
Karim G — Google review
Great experience. Host very friendly. You can buy food to feed the animals. Keep in mind a mini zoo. Mini. But nonetheless was a great experience and there also is a beautiful lake as well. You can also walk to the fairy stream from that site as well!!
Nancy M — Google review
It's a bit of a track to get here, you have to walk through a stream, but its gourges. There is a little cafe with view of a pond, you can also visit the mini zoo for a small fee.

Ham Tien Market

Farmers Markets
Ham Tien Market, established in 2012, is a reliable market known for its assortment of local delicacies such as banana, sesame candies, coconut cakes, and peanut brittle. Situated in a pale blue building along Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, the market offers an array of essentials including butchered meat, seafood, vegetables, fruits, condiments and dried foodstuffs. Additionally, visitors can find affordable clothing items, handicrafts and accessories here.
Local market with everything for life, but you should just buy fruit and other fresh thing here. Seafood is only available in the morning. Do not have place to park cars.
Dustin — Google review
Locals also come to buy and eat there. Authentic local market.
L — Google review
One of the most disgusting markets. Super dirty and smelly which can be a thing in many similar markets across the globe. I love exploring such markets but this one is pretty bad. Beside all the dirt, all the products you see look not taken care of, dirty, half rotten and messy. The meat pieces never seen any sanitary conditions nor did any other fresh products. The only thing that looked normal was fish and that’s the only thing I would come back for. The locals also scam you in the most awkward way, they play around with prices and as if they just name the random number that appears in their head. Then they change their mind and say something else lmao. At the end it’s not a huge difference or big money but the disrespect is real. It’s the first time I see locals having such touristy attitude, which surprised me because I often had very good interactions for past months in Vietnam. Also, note that almost no one has a QR code or they don’t want to use it so be aware and have cash on you.
Ekaterine ( — Google review
You have to visit this market. You will find here really wide offer of fruit, vegetables, herbs of really good quality and i can say everthing you need to prepare real vietnamese dish. Even is possible to taste few specialities right here. And prices? Best in Mui Ne.
Monika S — Google review
🛍️ Review: It’s a regular market, but you can find everything you need — meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you really want to buy fresh meat, fish, or vegetables, you should come early — between 6 AM and 10 AM. After 10, most sellers leave their stalls, and during the day you’ll mostly find fruits outside the market. Still, the fruit selection is great — lots of variety and good quality. There’s also a coffee shop, a place that sells sugarcane juice and iced tea, and in the morning you can try local food cooked right there at the market — delicious and worth a try!

Good market to find cheap food, seafood and anything. Special, you can eat delicious BÁNH CĂN. 😋

Ham Tien Market is located inside Mui Ne tourist area, so many people come here to buy seafood, especially an ideal destination for those who like dried seafood, fresh seafood or buy Mui Ne specialties as gifts. Around Ham Tien market, there are quite a few restaurants from snacking to drinking at night. In particular, if you want to eat fresh seafood, you can ask people to process it directly after buying it. The plus point of this market is the cheap price.

Nice beach, not much garbage, the water is okay but not that clear. Lots of people here swimming and picnicking with family and friends. There are activities like zumba held at the beach. There are also people doing watersport activities like surfing. It's a very happening place and a good place for recreation especially in the evening.

Ong Dia beach is beautiful, playful and popular place. It’s opposite to Sea Link hotel so many people know this beach and go to there to swim, take photos or take a rest relax with the sound of the sea. From Muine Domain it takes thirty minutes by walk to this beach. Sunbath is a healthy activity you should do on the beach.

Discovering the Charm of Phan Thiet: A Hidden Gem in Vietnam Nestled along the coast of Southern Vietnam lies the quaint city of Phan Thiet. While often overshadowed by its popular neighbors like Nha Trang and Da Lat, this hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Vietnam. With its stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, and delicious cuisine, Phan Thiet is the perfect destination for travelers seeking an authentic and off-the-beaten-path experience. One of the main draws of Phan Thiet is its beautiful beaches, which stretch for miles along the coast. The most famous of these is Mui Ne Beach, which is known for its clear waters and towering sand dunes. Visitors can go swimming, sunbathing, or take part in water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. Another popular spot is Hon Rom Beach, which is a quieter and more secluded option. Here, you can relax and unwind in the shade of palm trees while enjoying the stunning views of the South China Sea. Aside from its natural beauty, Phan Thiet is also rich in cultural heritage. The city is home to many historic landmarks and attractions, such as the Po Shanu Cham Towers, which date back to the 8th century. These towers are a testament to the influence of the Cham people, who once ruled over this region. Visitors can also explore the Van Thuy Tu Temple, which is dedicated to the worship of whales and is a unique example of Vietnamese religious culture. Finally, no visit to Phan Thiet would be complete without sampling the local cuisine. Seafood is the main staple here, with dishes such as banh canh cha ca (fish cake noodle soup) and banh xeo (Vietnamese-style crepes) being popular options. Another local specialty is the bánh căn, which is a type of mini pancake made with rice flour and topped with various ingredients such as shrimp, squid, and green onion. These dishes are typically served at street vendors or small restaurants, giving visitors an authentic taste of local Vietnamese cuisine. In conclusion, Phan Thiet is a hidden gem in Vietnam that offers visitors a unique and unforgettable experience. With its stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, and delicious cuisine, it is a destination that should not be missed. Whether you're a nature lover, a history buff, or a foodie, Phan Thiet has something for everyone. So pack your bags and get ready to discover the charm of this beautiful city.

Such a peaceful place to relax. Bring your special someone here on the weekends or whenever you have free time. This is my by far my favorite place to drive by during my daily routine. Weather here is amazing, and it's even better when you have a place like this close by that you can visit or drive by on your motorbike.

Underrated. I pass by this place every day, never paid any heed to it and was so positively surprised when I eventually went. Great sculptures all linked with a theme, international artists and signs with some explanation of what the sculptures depict.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Po Sah Inu Cham Towers, a 1000-year-old site, were built by the Champa people in the 8th century to worship Hindu deities like Lord Shiva and Agni. The towers offer stunning hilltop views of the valley and sea. Despite their crumbling state, they are recognized as a national architectural and artistic site. Visitors are drawn to its unique and mysterious architecture, consisting of two pointed towers and a third adjoining building.
Smaller than Mỹ Sơn complex, bigger than Nha Trang Po Nagar but not so well cared for. Buying an entrance ticket for 15.000 VNĐ you get a combo of beautiful path to the hill overlooking the lagune, gift shop run by Cham ethnic minority, Cham Hindu temples (2-3 buildings) dedicated to princess, to Shiva, and then the monument in the memory of the liberation forces attack on a French garrison in 1947, capturing 35 French troops and one machine gun. Further to the cliff there is a small tower standing, the remains of a French house once owned by Bảo Đại, the last emperor of Vietnam.

The Po Sah Inu Cham Towers in Mui Ne offer a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s ancient Cham civilization. Located on a hill, these towers date back to the 9th century and are dedicated to Hindu gods, showcasing the intricate architecture and artistry of the Champa Kingdom. Though smaller and less crowded than other Cham sites, the towers’ red brick structure and detailed carvings make it a peaceful and historically rich destination. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, including Mui Ne’s coastline, while exploring the serene grounds. While the site is relatively quiet and not heavily commercialized, it provides a unique opportunity to immerse in Vietnam’s cultural heritage. The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and enjoy the site in a more tranquil setting. Entry ticket per person is 15000 VNĐ

We came here with nice weather, an old monk(I presume) walked with us and invited us into the temple, the old one. I believe it’s a place can find some peaceful atmosphere, we just occasionally find this spot on the way we back to Ho Chi Minh city. With reasonable price to get in, and not so many tourists here. Only issue is they need to put some more resources in the maintenance.

Pretty small shopping mall. There is only one ATM on the ground floor and it did not work when I visited. On the fifth storey you can find the food court and it is small as well with only a few stands. I ordered a plate of fried rice with fried chicken thigh and surprisingly the chicken thigh bone was damn black as it had been frozen for too long and they still sold it for me. Never come back again to this food court. The supermarket on the third and fourth stories is abundant with different items. It can satisfy most of your demands. The bakery on the ground storey served different kinds of cakes and biscuits with acceptable level. If you wanna have some sweets you can come and visit. Price basically is cheaper than in SG.

I am writing this review to commend the staff of Phòng Vé Tàu Cao Tốc Phú Qúy Express. During a turbulent journey, the cabin crew showed remarkable dedication by assisting passengers who were affected by the rough sea conditions. I highly recommend this company for future travel needs. The boat offers comfortable seating and bed options. It is advisable for inexperienced sea travelers to check water conditions and consider rescheduling their trip for a calmer day.
I'm leaving this review because the staff deserves it. We experienced choppy water on the way home and the cabin crew spent the entire time standing up in difficult conditions and helping passengers who got sea sick. I would definitely use this company in the future. The boat comes with nice seats and options for beds. My advice that I wish I knew was for people who are not experienced at sea is to check the water conditions and change your travel plans to a smooth day.

When booking tickets, people should carefully read the terms and conditions and ensure they can accept them to avoid force majeure situations. When traveling, it is best to pack neatly and wait patiently for your luggage as soon as you get off the train to get the correct one. I went to experience the Phu Quy train, the safety conditions inside the train are not too luxurious but enough to ensure safety. The train leaves on time. During the moving process, the staff was also very enthusiastic even though when the waves were big it was difficult to move up and down. Occasionally, if there is a guest on the train whose birthday is that day, the train will also give gifts, which I find very meaningful. Van Thuy Tu Temple, located in Duc Thang Ward - Phan Thiet City, is a significant spiritual site for locals and a popular tourist destination. The temple is dedicated to the Nam Hai deity, revered by fishermen as their guardian god at sea. Dating back to 1762, it houses over 100 whale skeletons, including a remarkable 22-meter long one believed to be the largest in Southeast Asia.

Whale !!! This is about the Bone of the whale. Apparently, long time ago, whales are worshipped as god of the sea. The fisherman has legend about it. This place used to be next to the beach but now, because the city is over-populated to the point of "invading" the beach, it is in some small roads. The bone looks amazing, giving the feel of something enormous, powerful and mysterious for its sea characteristic. Downside is that they only exhibit the biggest here. One biggest bone. One.

Stepping into Phan Thiết Market wasn't just a trip to a market; it was an immersion into the soul of the city. I've been to many markets, but this one felt different. From the moment I arrived, I was hit with a beautiful wave of sound, color, and life. The air was thick with the scent of fresh fish from the nearby harbor, ripe tropical fruits I'd never seen before, and the savory aroma of cooking street food. It was overwhelming in the best possible way. What truly made my experience was the people. There was a woman with a kind smile selling vibrant green leafy vegetables, and another who insisted I try a small piece of a strange-looking fruit. I felt like a guest in their home, not just a customer. The energy was so genuine and warm. I watched as locals haggled playfully, children giggled, and vendors took pride in their perfectly arranged stalls. I walked away with more than just a few bags of delicious mangoes and some local spices; I left with a feeling of connection and gratitude. This market is more than just a place to buy things. It’s a living, breathing part of Phan Thiết's culture. For a truly honest, emotional, and unforgettable experience, this market is a must-visit. It's a genuine 5/5 from me.

The Ho Chi Minh Museum is a must-visit for those interested in Vietnamese history. It showcases exhibits and memorabilia chronicling the life and legacy of the renowned Vietnamese Communist leader, Hồ Chí Minh, as well as his pivotal role in the 1945 revolution. The museum also features archaeological finds from excavations near Phan Thiet. While some visitors noted limited English explanations, many appreciated the overall experience and found it to be an interesting and insightful sightseeing opportunity.

It feels like nobody visits this place and it looks abandoned. Entrance is free and you have a few floors to walk around mostly featuring only pictures. Not really enjoyable to watch them in the dark and they don't turn the lights on. Half of the explosions lack any translation at all. Probably might take a look if you have no other stuff to do, but I won't recommend you to travel here on purpose.

The enterence is free. Three floors. But, looks like the workers do not care about people who wants to learn about their history. All windows are closed, no AC, no air at all. 3rd floor has no light. (Translated by Google) We were in the park recently. Unfortunately, a lot of things here have already been destroyed, which made me very sad. The park itself as a piece of art was very interesting to me, but unfortunately time has not been kind to it. Throughout the park there were security guards who greeted us as they passed by on scooters. (At first I thought he would want to ask for payment, but no one asked for anything. They only warned me that I should be careful when taking it up the wall, since there were no railings.) In general, the impressions were only positive. I don’t know anything about his fate, but I hope he will be restored. A few words about Little Red Riding Hood and the clown from the movie “It” in the ditch under the bridge.... I’ll be dreaming about you for a long time 😂 In general, in the absence of more attractions in cities, this place is a must-visit (since it won’t last long.) )

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Kê Gà Lighthouse, also known as "The Gods Eye," is a stunning stone lighthouse perched on colorful rock formations overlooking the ocean and white beaches. Located about 30km south of Phan Thiet, this spectacular lighthouse dates back to the French era and stands at an impressive height of 64 meters. Accessible by hiring a boat operator, it sits on a rocky islet just off the shore and offers breathtaking views.
Unique spot near Mui Ne to visit . You can rent a roller to go there and rent a boat to go to the lighthouse , it’s very cheap , we pay about 10€ for 3 people . The island have only few visitors , so if you are lucky , you would be the only one there . So far away from the tourist spot .

I had an amazing time at Mũi Kê Gà! The water was crystal clear, the sand was soft and clean, and the entire area felt safe and peaceful. Whether you’re looking to relax under the sun, take a refreshing swim, or go for a walk along the shoreline, this beach has it all. There were plenty of spots to set up a towel or umbrella, and the vibe was peaceful — not too crowded, even during peak hours. I also appreciated how clean the facilities were, and there were some great food vendors nearby offering everything from fresh seafood to cold drinks. Sunset here is absolutely stunning — definitely worth staying for. I’d highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or a fun day trip with friends and family. Can’t wait to come back!

This spectacular lighthouse was built in the 19th century, French era. Many years ago, visitors still allowed to ascend the lighthouse, but I heard its nt allowed now. Seem like not many visitors, the beaches around this area were quiet and peaceful.

First time at Ke Ga lighthouse this past weekend + I was blown away by the white powered sand, sky blue clear water + gorgeous bay dotted with fishing boats. Best beach I have seen so far in this great country ❤️🇻🇳❤️ it’s only 4 hours away from HCMC. Will definitely go back. I wonder if I can camp on the beach 🏖 🤔

This place is simply amazing. No... No... No... You are gonna have some breathtaking moment near the KeGa lighthouse. It is located on the island which is 5 minutes away from the coast by boat. The island is beautiful itself. For me it was like I am the character of "The Lord of the Rings" movie. Great! 5 star in my opinion.

Really nice place of Phan Thiet city. Because it's far from city center, not so many people visit here. The boat will take you to the lighthouse, because the safety reason, you can't climb up to the top anymore. The beach is beautiful and not crowded like Mui Ne.

Beautiful place with a lot of dragon fruit plantations. Here you can find a lot of beautiful beaches without any other tourists in sight . But still not so easy to go there as it is not a popular tourist destination. Perfect if you search for a lonely clean beach for away from mass tourism . If you are in Phan Thiet you can take a bus or taxi to go there . I Highly recommend this place if you like it quite.

Linh Son Truong Tho Pagoda is a serene and spiritual place located on top of Ta Cu mountain. It offers breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it perfect for a day trip while in Phan Tiet. You can choose to take the cable car or follow the hiking trail to reach the pagoda. Once there, you'll find various Buddhist monuments, including the famous almost 50-meter laying Buddha statue.
Very spiritual place with breathtaking views. Need to pay 50K VND to enter to Ta Cu mountain. (I’m not sure whether there is an another entrance that you don’t have to pay). Pagoda is on top of the hill. There are two options to climb the hill: you can take cable car or you can follow the hiking trail.

This place is beautiful, great place to spend half a day with your family if you go. You get a very nice view from the gondola ride up, lots of walking and steps but totally worth the view once you reach the top.

Two weeks ago we walked up the mountain. There is a lot of rubbish at the place where the trail meets the cable car! There is also a lot of rubbish around the pagoda, which has been under construction for more than 8 years. There is rubbish around the plant ladder on the way to the Buddha statue! Workers of the place do not monitor the order of the adjacent territories. We left a donation. Hope they can allocate funds to clean up this beautiful park

It's a pagoda, just like any other's. When i was here, there are not much people come along, you can hear the sounds of nature, of course... i saw two monkeys, a little creepy, and tired of crawling on the stairs to the Buddha statues. when you're here, you are in peace, remember to bring an umbrella and sunscreen... It's hot and sunny... you should come here in the morning or afternoon, NOT at noon❌❌❌. And PLEASE help raise a BIT of money, a few dollars may be, not to much, to complete the builds of the pagoda...

Very nice place for a day trip while in Phan Tiet, lovely view and a lot of Buddhist monuments. The most famous being the almost 50meter laying Buddah.

Come there in early morning will be better, less people less noise. Nice place and still keep natural forest
Thai N — Google review
The place is absolutely breathtaking once you get to the top! However, I have chosen to hike up there. Apparently, it was the same way the building material for the statue was brought up there by the monks. It was an okay hike with loads of wildlife, slow water streams, bird singing and RUBBISH everywhere! What a disgrace! Why does no one care? Is that cause most of the tourists take the cable car? Cable car owners have no cash to spare to clean it? There's another mountain growing. A RUBBISH mountain and Old Ho Chi Min would turn in his grave when he saw that! Be ashamed the polluters and the officials that do not care! 👊👎

Tà Cú Mountain

Mountains
Tà Cú Mountain, located in Vietnam, is a revered site for Buddhists and a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. The peak boasts the largest reclining Buddha statue in Southeast Asia and offers both a challenging 2290-meter hiking trail and a more leisurely tram ride to the summit. As you ascend the mountain, you'll be surrounded by ancient trees and diverse ecological populations, creating a serene and meditative experience.
Very peaceful place filled with monks and dogs. Lots of amazing statues and pagodas at the top (Sleeping Buddha and many more). Parking and entrance are cheap, especially if you take the cable car only one way or not at all. We hiked to the top and took a cable car to get down. Amazing hike, quite hard in humid, hot weather + the trail doesn't always contain steps (some parts are pure jungle). Make sure you're healthy and bring a water bottle. :)

Beautiful place. You can either hike up the mountain (not an easy option) or take the cable car. We went with the cable car, which allowed us to take in and enjoy the stunning view!!! There is still a good climb and quite a lot of steps still to go even using the cable car but can take your time and take it all in. It is well worth a visit and the steps.

Incredible trip to the pagoda which you can walk to if you feel adventurous (pronounced "suicidal") enough, or you can take the cable cars and choose to live... Seriously it is a trek and it is warm! After the cable cars there is still a bit of climbing to get to the temple and lots of stairs but once you arrive it is worth it! Other reviews mention rubbish laying around but I can honestly say that I didn't see any! Beautiful place

This is a spiritual and tourist attraction. You can hike up the mountain (well-marked trail and not too difficult) or take the cable car to lead to the summit. There is a temple complex in the mountain with the longest reclining Buddha statue in Southeast Asia. Beatiful landscape!

Great hike up, around more than 1 hour if you do a quick hike. Wonderful view when being on top and take the cable car downhill.

A place where you can experience spacious space, fresh air, ancient trees, beautiful scenery and many wonderful spiritual works of Asia. That is the value of visiting when passing by Binh Thuan province. During your visit, you should wear hats, sports shoes, or sandals with straps. Dress in polite and comfortable clothing that can absorb sweat well due to the steep and rugged terrain.

I recently had the most incredible experience at Tà Cú Mountain in Hàm Thuận Nam, and I'm still buzzing from it. This place isn't just a destination; it's a journey for the soul, and it's easily one of the best experiences I've had in Vietnam. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the sheer beauty and tranquility. The cable car ride up was a highlight in itself, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the lush green landscape stretching all the way to the sea. As we ascended, the world below seemed to melt away, and a sense of calm washed over me. Once at the top, the atmosphere was magical. The air felt cleaner, and the scent of the forest was intoxicating. The main attraction, the reclining Buddha, is simply awe-inspiring. It's massive, but more than that, it's the peaceful and serene energy surrounding it that truly moved me. I spent a long time just sitting there, taking it all in, feeling a deep sense of peace and gratitude. But Tà Cú Mountain is more than just the Buddha statue. The pagoda complex is stunning, with intricate architecture and a quiet, reverent atmosphere. I took my time exploring the different temples, each one offering a unique glimpse into the spiritual heart of the mountain. The climb to the top, though a bit challenging, was well worth it for the stunning views and the feeling of accomplishment. What really made this experience a 5/5 for me was the overall feeling it left me with. It was deeply personal and emotional. Tà Cú Mountain felt like a spiritual retreat, a place to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life and reconnect with myself. It's a place that inspires introspection and a profound sense of wonder. If you're looking for a destination that offers more than just pretty scenery, but a genuine, heartfelt experience, then Tà Cú Mountain is it. It’s a place that will stay with you long after you've left, and I can't wait to go back.
