What it lacks in size, it makes up in beauty, ambience and liveliness. The waterfall is accessible, the water is sparkling and cold, and local hospitality adds its own charm. Best appreciated before the peak season crowds jam the place.

All in all - its just a theek thaak waterfall. JANA on the other hand is a bful place to stay Waterfall starts when one starts moving uphill from naggar. Water trail can be seen at many places, but this is the best of them. It is located 15 mins from Jana village - 15 mins when you ride continuously. In season, one should park vehicle before and walk to the waterfall for lot of tourists may cause jam. The road from Naggar is good only in patches, and its not a very wide road. By the time one reaches waterfall, there is no sign of pucca road. - i guess the work is currently in progress. if one continues to go uphill, one will reach Bijli Mahadev Temple

I went in June mid, there wasn’t much water flowing in the water fall. The road with pine trees is amazing. Waterfall itself wasn’t that good but the journey was great. The road is problematic towards the end so take care.

The steam rising from the springs in the cool mountain air created a magical atmosphere. Watching people cook rice and lentils in the hot spring water was both fascinating and unique. It is Famous place to visit the Shiva temple and Hot spring along with Gurudwara Sahib. A Nice place to enjoy some time along with Boiling natural hot water.

This was my first experience with a hot spring and I was pleasantly surprised. It covered a bigger area than what I expected and the water was optimally hot for a bath. One thing about this spring is that the place seems to be neglected and the lighting is downright poor. I would suggest paying a visit to this place during the morning or the afternoon as you will not have to deal with the darkness. Totally worth checking out as there isn't a lot of hot springs in India.

It was a one-of-a-kind experience, especially in the snow. We trekked alone through the snowy landscape and even witnessed live snowfall. The next morning, the view was absolutely breathtaking. However, it was so cold that taking photos was a real challenge.

It is a peaceful and beautiful spot surrounded by nature. It holds religious importance as it is linked to Sage Rishi Parashar..so visitors are requested to avoid smoking, drinking or loud music. The weather is refreshing and the views are stunning. Please help keep the area clean and respect its calm and spiritual environment.

I visited Jalori Pass during my solo trip in June 2024 and even without snow the place felt magical. The moment you start heading up from Jibhi the scenery begins to change. The road is around 12 km but it’s very steep and narrow and if a vehicle comes from the opposite direction there can be huge traffic especially around the curves. So if you’re driving yourself or even taking a cab just be prepared for that. You can get a shared cab from Jibhi to the starting point or if you have time you can wait for the local bus which comes every one or two hours. Once you reach the top you will find a small temple and a few stalls selling tea Maggi and snacks. I took a short break there before starting the 360 viewpoint trek. The trek itself is about 45 minutes to an hour depending on your speed. It’s slightly steep in places but very doable and the trail goes through pine trees and greenery all around. The higher you go the more peaceful it gets. And the view from the 360 viewpoint is simply stunning. You can see the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar mountain ranges surrounding you in every direction. It feels like the sky opens up and the mountains just keep rolling one after the other. I sat there for a long time just soaking in the view breathing in the cold fresh air and enjoying the silence. It was one of the most calming moments of my trip. This is the kind of place that doesn’t need too many words or activities. Just reaching there sitting quietly and looking at the mountains is enough to make you feel peaceful. Bus drops off right at the temple and you can start trek straight away. 5km one way through the forest. On the other side is Raghupr fort another trek.The lake is small pond.Serolsar Lake is in Tirthan Valley of Himachal Pradesh, located 75 km away from Kullu. The lake is situated at an altitude of 10,170 ft. To access the lake, you've to trek for 5 km. The trek starts from Jalori Pass, the highest altitude point that connects Kullu valley and Shimla Valley. The lake is guarded by thick tall pine trees on all sides. Next to the lake is Budhi Nagin temple. Serolsar Lake is surrounded by a narrow track and a fence around it. The Serolsar Lake wears stunning colours during different times of the year. The lake looks white during winter, half snow-covered and half green during spring and summer, and lush green during monsoon and post-monsoon. This is something worth observing if you have the oppurtuinty to trek multiple times to this lake. Apart from the scenic beauty, the Serolsar lake has religious significance as well. Ilt is a pilgrimage place for the locals. Locals from the surrounding villages come here every saturday to do the parikrama. They mostly offer ghee and oil to the local diety. It is believed the goddess is submerged in the lake and protects the entire region. Serolsar Lake trek is a paradise for someone who loves forest trails. The entire trail is through the dense pine and deodar forests. You also encounter clearings after every hour of the trek which makes them nice resting spots for trekkers to rejoice. From the 360-degree Viewpoint, you get great views of Pir Panjal and the Great Himalayan range. Serolsar Lake trek is an easy trek. It can be done by both fit beginners and experienced trekkers. It's a series of gradual ascents and descents until you reach the lake. The only steep ascent you encounter on this trail is the one that takes you to the 360-degree Viewpoint.

Jalori Pass offers a delightful escape into nature, boasting a moderate 5 KM trek to a serene lake, enveloped by a dense, tranquil forest. Jalori pass ... The most beautiful trek I have witnessed Start from SoJa . Went during February end and it's the last snow of that season. The whole trek was covered with snow .. 2 feet deep. And it's just heavenly. - wear snow boots as u can get cold feet and take a good amount of food and water if you are starting this Trek. - at the top around 12 km away is the mountain 360 degree view and a beautiful temple is located. - there all the camps and food stalls are available but during heavy snow , all get covered and shut down. - from the temple there is a trek of 3 km to the fort - for having a fort view. - also 2 km away from this point going above is the place where 🎥 " yeh Jawani hai devani" movie shoot was held.. it's just snow covered trek and you can see all way the white 🤍🤍🤍 color.. - the trek is just freaking awesome and you will have wonderful picture points and views during the journey. ❄️❄️ Feel and Experience this beautiful 🤩🤩 snow covered place.

Jalori Pass - The most beautiful place I have ever seen. At entrance you will see the temple of Mahadev and Durga Maa. In snow ❄️, Jalori pass looks absolutely stunning, beautiful, awesome, I won’t have words to describe this place beauty, all the around if you will se their would be snow covered mountains 🏔️ with surrounding trees make this place looks more eye catching and beautiful. The people here around are so nice and friendly. I visited this place on march 21, 2025. At that time it was all around snow and make sure you take up warm clothes when you visit here, because in the evening the temperature plunges very down, and chilled air make you feel more colder and coldest so caps, mufflers, gloves along with very warm jackets make you feel warmer over here.

The Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) is a research institute in Shimla, housed in the former Viceregal Lodge, a must visit Historical place..built between 1884 and 1888 as the summer residence for the Viceroy of India. After India's independence, the lodge was renamed Rashtrapati Niwas (President's House). Loads of jaw dropping advanced features built e.g. Concealed Electrical wiring, advanced Fire fighting system, 200 years old working pendulum, walnut interiors. etc... Its amazing..!! It also contains rare archives, If you are visiting Shimla and keep interest in History...a must must visit. PS - Photography inside the building is prohibited.

The lush gardens outside and the panoramic views from the hilltop add even more charm to the visit. We took the guided tour, which was informative and helped us understand the historical significance of each section of the lodge. However, I personally felt that the tour was a bit rushed. Even though the guide mentioned that we could take our time, we were quickly moved from one room to another. I would have loved to pause longer and really soak in the details — the furniture, the photos, and the artifacts that make this place so special. Despite that, it’s a must-visit attraction in Shimla. The architecture alone makes it worth the trip, and if you’re someone who appreciates history, art, or old-world charm, you’ll definitely enjoy it here. I’d recommend visiting early in the day to truly take in its beauty and peaceful surroundings.

Vicergal lodge named as 13 British viceroys used this placec as residence and used as their capital for 8months every year as summer capital. Draft of partition of India was discussed here. Dr S Radhakrishnan converted this to educational institute IIAS, now offers advanced studies in social science and humanities. British era history involved in this building. 137 years old now. But sad to see poor maintenance and upkeep of structure inspite of hefty entry fee to stay 30 mins inside the building as guided tour.

Situated at 2.5 kms from Shimla railway station, this used to the de-facto power base in India during the British times for 8 months. The first building in Shimla to get electricity, it also saw time as Independent India's first President House for around a decade. Guided tours are available but too many people are stuffed in them and one can't properly appreciate the amount of history (usually in form of images and lettering). A proper way would be to let people go in and browse at their own leisure. Alas, one can't have that. Only the ground floor is accessible (4 odd rooms) to public. There is a lawn and small garden outside as well.

The temple is clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful pine trees. You can reach easily by ropeway or by a short trek. A must-visit spot when you’re in Shimla!

Jakhu Temple (also Jakhoo Temple) is an ancient temple in Shimla,Himachal Pradesh, India, dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Hanuman. A giant 108-feet-high idol of Hanuman was unveiled at Jakhu Hanuman temple on 4 November 2010. The temple is accessible by foot, horse, taxi or ropeway. The Jakhu Ropeway is an aerial lift that links a point near the centre of Shimla to the temple. It was developed by Jagson International Limited and opened in 2017.

Very beautiful temple of God Hanuman. Temple itself is very beautiful. I would recommend to visit it early morning to get less crowd and good pictures. This temple is on top of mountain. Be careful these wild monkeys may snatch your mobile or caps.

Points to be noted 1. Please be aware of cabs for visiting temple. 2. Rates can be negotiated 3. Path is very odd hence ropeway and cabs are the only way to visit. 4. Cabs for temple are far away from mall road. Hence it is suggested not to take senior citizens and people having knee problems. 5. Once cabs drops you near temple there are stairs followed by escalator. 6. 20 rupees per person is the rate for 2 escalators which takes you to temple. Or one can go by stairs.

Visited Jakhu Temple in Shimla for Hanuman Ji’s darshan. We took a private van from the Clock Tower for ₹300 (up & down for two people), though there’s also an HRTC bus available for around ₹30 which comes every 30–50 minutes. There are a lot of monkeys around; they’re not harmful but you need to be careful with your belongings. Standing below the huge Hanuman statue and offering prayers felt truly divine and peaceful. A must-visit spot for a calm spiritual experience.”

A very ancient and reverred temple of Shri Hanuman Ji located on the highest point of Shimla at 8050 ft. 108 ft huge statue of Shri Hanuman Ji also there to bless the devotees. It's on a very steep height do you must take a Ride with pride can service operated by government at 30 Rs per person from mall road behind church. There is a ropeway service also which is at 500 per adult for both ways and 270 one way.

If someone plans to visit, please make sure to visit between the months of July and October. We visited in the month of April and were very sad to see fallen apple trees. Still the people show a full of apples garden and charge a lot of money which is not at all worth it. There are only 2 ways to visit this place. One is a horse ride and the other is a 4X4 vehicle drive. People here charge Rs.1500 for horse ride per head and Rs.2000 for vehicle drive. This package includes 6 adventure rides and 6 places to see. To be Frank, no one will be able to do all the 6 rides and visit all the 6 places. Additionally, once you enter inside, you will be forced to opt for an ATV ride for about 1.5 km which is again Rs.500. Spending money is not a deal but trust me the money that you're gonna spend here is not at all worth it. A kind note that your outfit will definitely become muddy by the time you come out. It's really beneficial to carry a mask with you since this place is full of mud.

Worth exploring locals are so humble and polite selling food and drinks on top of hill with a nominal pricing. Activities are horse riding, yak photo shoot, Gypsy or 4X4 car ride on top, and other adventure activities. Also must try telescopic views activity there.

Kufri: 1. Gypsy Ride: ₹6,000 for 4 people (3rd week of april 25) seems not reasonable, also the ₹50/person environmental charge wasn't reflected in the cleanliness. Areas for Improvement 1. Cleanliness: Despite the environmental/cleanliness charge, the area didn't seem clean. 2. Crowds: Rides were overcrowded, which might detract from the experience. Recommendations 1. Gypsy Off-Roading: Although pricey (₹1500/person), it's a unique experience worth considering. 2. Alternative Options: For smaller adventures, other options might be more suitable.

We went there at around 5 pm on Saturday and it's in the very Porach area of Ghaziabad. They serve prasad. Water facility, and seating facility is there right outside which any one can use it. The hall is big for many people. They have a shop for many items. Almost every iskcon temple is good architecture. We spent around 1 hr. And at 6 pm they have arti.

No proper management system for keeping devotees’ slippers and shoes. Toilets are not clean and lack basic maintenance. Poor arrangements for devotees staying/living inside the premises. Red fort - Delhi A true piece of architecture !!! Walls of the fort goes feets above and feets wider. Fort surrounded by the deep waters makes enemies difficult to enter. Through the main gate you can enter and then you can start seeing some amazing entrance walls. After that there white stone monuments where it's restricted to enter but you can see from closure look. There are meausems inside the fort and had amazing collections of history. You need minimum of 2 to 3 hous of time to see every architecture of the red fort. We took tour bus and rushing to see all the places but couldn't make it to meausems. Well mentained gardens and there are good facilities and sit and rest. If you're visiting during the month of March to September make sure you are carrying enough water and electrols. During winters it's best time to visit and wear warms cloths and enjoy the weather.

It was a great experience to visit this beautiful gurdwara. The ambience was so peaceful with prayers were going on inside. There was no unnecessary chaos, unnecessary noise. Everything was well maintained and neat and clean. Followers of different religions used to visit this place to pay respect to the almighty. The stunning golden dome glistened under the evening sky, and the soothing sounds of Gurbani (holy hymns) created an atmosphere of serenity. Our group of curious explorers, including many first-time visitors, was warmly welcomed by the volunteers. We learned about the rich history of the Gurudwara and the selfless service it represents. The highlight of our visit was the Langar—the community kitchen that serves free meals to thousands daily. Volunteering in the Langar, even for a short while, was a humbling experience. Preparing food, serving meals, and witnessing the seamless teamwork among volunteers left a deep impression on all of us. Sharing a simple yet delicious meal sitting alongside people from all walks of life felt like a beautiful lesson in equality and humanity. The Sarovar (holy water tank) added to the tranquility, with its clear waters reflecting the Gurudwara’s grandeur. We spent moments sitting by its edge, soaking in the spiritual vibes and engaging in heartfelt conversations. For many in our group, this visit was not just about exploring a heritage site but about connecting with their inner selves and with one another. Bangla Sahib Gurudwara is more than a religious place—it’s a sanctuary of peace, service, and unity. Super polluted and over crowded , this place is good wide open park and water areas to sit and spend good time with friends and family but but its so crowded and polluted that you can barely see india gate, all smoke and no visibility at 50-100m , and so many tour guides and travel group counting on your money, with some scammer and lots lots of force photographer, save your money, time and health, its better you divert towards any low crowd and good air place, i stopped smoking for quite sometime now but when i went to delhi i felt chest burn and heavy breathing problems. But its a good protected area , if government take proper steps then that place looks majestic

I recently visited India Gate, and it was a beautiful experience. The atmosphere felt calm and patriotic, especially in the evening when the entire area lights up. Standing in front of the monument and reading the names of the soldiers felt emotional and reminded me of India’s history and sacrifice. Overall, my visit to India Gate was peaceful, memorable, and definitely worth it. I would recommend everyone to visit at least once, especially during sunset.

Akshardham Temple, Largest Hindu temple in world is a divine place. It's more than temple, it's actually a hub of great architectural designs that are carved on rocks and marble. Main things to see: ceilings of each dome inside temple, pillars and Mandovar. Great example of great and rich culture.

Akshardham An amazing beautiful peaceful temple. Must visit place if you are in New Delhi. Metro station also there and is just 100 meter apart. Akshardham is really beautiful the main temple is really beautifully crafted. The outer architecture is beautiful and also the inner marbel architecture was more than beautiful. The roof of the main temple is just amazing. The best and the most beautiful part is the main temple where the colors are too good. Note :- You can not take your phone 📱, camera 📷, so you have to stand in the queue to summit them in the cloak room. Secure cloak room 5/5. After the cloak room there is a security check which will be done in a minute you just have to remove your wallet and belt and that's it they will check you and let you pass. Strong security check. Best place to visit.

However the staff is rude, timings of rides and events are not mentioned correctly on the website and not allowing purses or phones inside is incomprehensible. Why should we be asked to return or have to leave our valuables insecurely in cabs. Why not be transparant and allow cellphones. And what harm can purses and bags do...just use security measures. Even airports allow bags, so why shouldn't this place!!!

Get a chance to visit Lotus temple. A very nice place to visit. Huge gardens, well maintained and super clean. People are not allowed to enter the gardens. Well spreaded walking paths, shoe counters near the Lotus temple. Though it is called a temple but actually there is no any statue of any God. It is a quite clean vacant place for worship or one can say place for Meditation. The temple dome is built like a Lotus flower with a huge hall inside, number of benches for the devotees to sit and worship their respective God or Meditate.

Sultanpur National Park (Ramsar site ) is located at Sultanpur village on Gurugram-Jhajjar highway, 15 km from Gurugram and 50 km from Delhi. This covers approximately 142.52 hectares. The National Park is named after King Sultansingh Chauhan a descendant of King Prithviraj Chauhan. The approach road is good and National Park has decent parking space. The entrance is charged @Rs 50. Around 250 migratory birds find shelter in winter season. The best times are always mornings and evenings. The walk around the park is around 7500 steps. There are watch towers to facilitate bird watching. You can even buy artefacts at counter while returning. Don't forget to rent up a binoculars. Electric vehicles are available for those who wish for ride around the park.

This is the best place for nature lovers. The place is so calm, fully natural, and eternally peaceful. It takes around 2-3 hours to take a full circle of the lake. There are 3-4 watchtowers and observation decks that offer picturesque views of the visiting birds. You need to visit with binoculars and high heeled shoes for the best experience. Carry a water bottle on warm days but do not litter anywhere. The entry costs 50rs per person and 30 rs for parking each vehicle. Restrooms are available near the parking lot. The place is frequently visited by migratory birds from Siberia and Central Asia. One can also find local fauna in abundance. The lake is purely rain fed so water levels keep declining during the winter. This place usually remains open from October to March during the winters

Amazing place for birding. Winter months are ideal, the park is closed from may to oct. It is serene and peaceful. Well maintained and clean, golf carts available so people with mobility issues or people looking just to unwind may avail. They have decent binoculars available for rent as well. Saw 100+ species in the 2-3 hours i was there in mid February. Only sad thing was dogs trying to hunt geese and other birds.

One of the most iconic place in the NCR, a wonderful experience with all friends visited with me, the Auditorium complex and its decorations were interesting. Walking around inside the complex is a great experience. Always wanted to be here. And so it happened. I cannot say that I have never been here before. We especially enjoyed going to it. It’s definitely worth the price, and it’s good to go with your entire family or friends. In the end, it was worth it to experience an auditorium that has meant so much to so many.

First Mall of Delhi , ANSAL PLAZA MALL , is located near Pari Chowk, Amit Nagar, Sadarpur, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. When opened, Ansal Plaza was very popular among the shoppers and enjoyed the full success due to its Amphitheater, food court, and special offerings. Gradually it stopped attracting and inviting people when the new and bigger Malls started coming in the NCR with better amenities . It’s an example of very poor management and failure of management to adapt to changing customers preferences. Now the Mall is almost closed. Here ,in the case of Ansal Plaza Mall , The Darwin’s theory is 100% correct- Struggle for existence & Survival of fittest.

Nice place for auto enthusiasts, knowledge seekers, and students. Free parking available, food court is also available but is a little costly. There is no need to buy advance tickets. You need at least 2 hours to visit. Space movie show is in english and full of knowledge but may be boring for some. The location is odd, far from the city, but road connectivity is nice. Staff is polite and helpful. Neet and clean environment.

If you are in NCR, you shouldn't miss this. One of the very well curated exhibit. For people over 40-50s, it's gonna take you down the memory lane. Kids super love it to see the grandiour of vintage cars and vehicles.... Especially buggies. Kids love the simulator too and movie shown is also brilliant. They can improve bit on the gift shop but rest is an amazing experience.

A must-visit and truly amazing place! There’s a cafeteria available as well. It’s a bit far, but definitely worth visiting. I’d recommend going by your own vehicle, as getting a cab might be a little difficult—though when I checked, Ola, Uber, and Rapido were showing available options. I didn’t book any since I went in my own vehicle.

Excellent museum which is very well maintened. Easily among the best I've experienced in India. Takes through the journey of transportation, not just cars or buses. Guided tours, self guided walk arounds, they have it all! The food at the cafeteria is a bit blah, but I think they're solving for affordability. Do go here when you're in Delhi NCR.

This is really good place and every one should watch it with your kids who learn a lot about heritage of museums. Kolkata tram and Maruti 800 design at entrance is my favourite and there is a cafe which is also unique

Visiting the Radha Rani Temple in Barsana was a truly divine and memorable experience. The temple stands gracefully on a high mountain, offering stunning views of the entire town. We reached there by car and later returned quickly on bikes through the cool night breeze—it felt thrilling and peaceful at the same time. Walking up the steep, sloppy road to the temple was a bit tiring but completely worth it. The divine aura of Radha Rani at the top filled our hearts with devotion and calmness. Radhe Radhe !

The Shri Radha Rani Temple in Barsana is one of the most spiritually powerful places in Braj. The energy here is truly divine, you can feel the presence of Radha Rani the moment you climb the steps. According to the scriptures, this is the sacred hill where Radha Rani, the beloved of Lord Krishna, spent her childhood. It is believed that Barsana represents Shri Radha’s home, and visiting here is considered one of the holiest experiences in Braj Dham. Darshan is very peaceful and beautiful if you go on a weekday, especially early morning or early afternoon. During weekends or festivals, the rush becomes uncontrollable, it’s not safe or comfortable to bring small children. Ab thoda practical part, place bahut bheed bhara rehta hai. Local hawkers aur touts har jagah milenge, sab apna product ya service bechne ki koshish karte hain. Be alert, bahut log tourist ko confuse karke paisa nikalne ki koshish karte hain. Mobile phone, wallet, ya koi expensive cheez leke mat jao, pickpocketing common hai. Also, do not drink lassi or eat anything from random stalls, zyadatar fake products hote hain aur quality kharab hoti hai. Carry plenty of small change because literally every second person will ask for donation or bhiksha. Overall, darshan of Radha Rani is absolutely divine, but everything outside the temple feels like a chaos zone. If you go with devotion and awareness, it’s a spiritually uplifting visit.

Visiting the Radharani Temple in Barsana was a truly wonderful experience. I would highly recommend having your own means of transportation if you are travelling with family. There is ample parking available, though on special occasions you can expect long queues. The walk to the temple is comfortable and not too tiring, but do watch your step on the stairs. It took us about 10 to 15 minutes to get inside and have the darshan, which was quite reasonable for the month of October, just before Diwali. I have heard that at other times the temple can be very crowded, so it is best to plan your visit accordingly. Once you are at the temple, there is also a fort nearby that you can easily walk to. Overall, it was a divine and peaceful experience.

The first darshan includes - Mata Rani temple and after that - visit the Gufa, Shiv Ji Temple, Krishna Temple & Shani Dev Temple. The temple is huge so follow the signboards. You can get the prashadam from the gate 1 @100rs but the assistant at the temple will ask you to offer your prashad yourself ( and that's okay) The temple has the canteen as well.

Absolutely fabulous place to visit. It's a mirror to our history. Must visit if you want to see post Mughal transition of Architecture. There are adequate Bus services available from Rajasthan government Alwar depot from Govardhan chowk Mathura. It's a one day tour, on a good day 2 to 3 hours, for an enthusiast 5 to 6 hours. No restaurant in the vicinity.
