The waterfall was nice but for me the best part was the walk there. I walked a different way to most people, I came from upper Bhagsu and it took me through this beautiful trail on the edge of the mountain. Took me only 15 mins to get there. Also went to Shiva cafe which is 5 minutes higher than the waterfall, nice views up there and good food.

Bhagsu Nag Waterfall is a great place 100% a must-visit. It’s a short and easy trek. Try having Maggi during the trek; the views and the sound of the waterfall give you pure peace and a lovely vibe. Just feel it.

Nice up hill trekk for nearly 45 mins for me (out of breath due to physical reason). Once reached the place it was a lovely experience. See the water fall, clean water, small cafes. Enjoy tge place for 30 mins or more. Then start retracting.

Very crowded place. A lot of public taking bath in the waterfall. Its not a peaceful place to visit. Although the sight is good from far away. A lot of shops to shop from. Local bags, key chains, clothes, shawls, jewellery.

Always a delight visit the holiness place. This time I also attended his lifelong ceremony with a bunch of tibetans and renowned scholars who happened to visit this ceremony and seek his blessings from all over the world. Such a delight to witness him and this ceremony in person and feel a surge of true spiritual energy, even with more than 1000 people around. I guess it's the holiness in Dharamshala effect.

Our family visited this Budhist Dalai Lama temple (also known as Theckchen Choeling Buddha Vihar) on 24 October 2025. There is no entry fees. There is a residential venue of Dalai Lama, in front of the temple complex. It has a Beautiful, calm, quiet, serene, religious atmosphere with excellent infrastructure for religious ceremony and meditation.

Beautiful, humbling place. There was so much to experience from the Golden temple to the jora service to the langar service to the gold sewa workshop. The museums on-site are also there to serve as a reminder of the resilience that Sikhs have had to have to survive and become a large community. There are many gurudwaras and soravars (lakes) on-site to take amrat as well. To be able to sit under the trees that some of the Gurus had done so was also wonderful. A beautiful place to visit.

A divine place. I have almost zero knowledge of Sikhism. But when I stand in th3 queue for 4 hours that is when I felt the presence different energy. I have been to Kashi, Ujjain and every where u have to stand in queue. A lot of pushing touching, but here people are standing together with families but with pure energy and devotion to "Guru"🙏

Jakhu Temple (also Jakhoo Temple) is an ancient temple in Shimla,Himachal Pradesh, India, dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Hanuman. A giant 108-feet-high idol of Hanuman was unveiled at Jakhu Hanuman temple on 4 November 2010. The temple is accessible by foot, horse, taxi or ropeway. The Jakhu Ropeway is an aerial lift that links a point near the centre of Shimla to the temple. It was developed by Jagson International Limited and opened in 2017.

Very beautiful temple of God Hanuman. Temple itself is very beautiful. I would recommend to visit it early morning to get less crowd and good pictures. This temple is on top of mountain. Be careful these wild monkeys may snatch your mobile or caps.

Points to be noted 1. Please be aware of cabs for visiting temple. 2. Rates can be negotiated 3. Path is very odd hence ropeway and cabs are the only way to visit. 4. Cabs for temple are far away from mall road. Hence it is suggested not to take senior citizens and people having knee problems. 5. Once cabs drops you near temple there are stairs followed by escalator. 6. 20 rupees per person is the rate for 2 escalators which takes you to temple. Or one can go by stairs.

Visited Jakhu Temple in Shimla for Hanuman Ji’s darshan. We took a private van from the Clock Tower for ₹300 (up & down for two people), though there’s also an HRTC bus available for around ₹30 which comes every 30–50 minutes. There are a lot of monkeys around; they’re not harmful but you need to be careful with your belongings. Standing below the huge Hanuman statue and offering prayers felt truly divine and peaceful. A must-visit spot for a calm spiritual experience.”

A very ancient and reverred temple of Shri Hanuman Ji located on the highest point of Shimla at 8050 ft. 108 ft huge statue of Shri Hanuman Ji also there to bless the devotees. It's on a very steep height do you must take a Ride with pride can service operated by government at 30 Rs per person from mall road behind church. There is a ropeway service also which is at 500 per adult for both ways and 270 one way.

Everything A grade, only to reach there especially for elderly is bit difficult.As vehicles are not allowed and got to walk steep road for 4 to 5 km is difficult . Govt should start e rickshaws for public.

This is the highest point of Kasauli. Took a cab all the way up to the air force sub station. From there it was a 30 min climb (would have been much faster if I was alone). It is just a lot of stairs but they are nicely paved and well maintained. Senior citizens and even 70+ year olds also come up if they take a lot of rest in between (there are places to sit and rest). The temple at the top has a peaceful vibe. There are monkeys here and you'll be instructed to not carry food in your hand. If you have the "prasadam" from the temple, carry them in your pockets. This is also known as the Monkey point or Manki point. Our cab driver told us "Manki" is not a spelling error but refers to the hindi word "mann ki" (something related to heart/soul) but not sure about it's authenticity. The main downside of visiting this place is that it is close to the air force station and all electronic devices are prohibited - meaning no photography at all. Most of the pics you see here on this pin are actually from different places in Kasauli (added erroneously ...smh). Some pictures of the temple can be taken from a km away from the Gilbert Trail if you zoom in. There is a paid locker where you submit your bags and devices and go for the hike.

Temple is located at 6500 feets. 300 steps to climb. Only taxis are allowed from Mall Road Car Parking or you trek for an hour. Mountain views are awesome. It is believed that during Lord Hanumans flight from himalayas bringing Sanjeevani booti his left foot was rested on this hill and hence the importance of this place. Mobiles, photography etc strictly prohibited 🚫 in this area.

Its a beautiful temple located on mountain top of kasauli. The visiting time is till 4pm all around the year and 1-2 is lunch time. There is no Entry fee. Taxi service is available from mall road to manki point for 200-250 rupees per person but I would highly recommend to cover the beautiful trail on foot as you get to enjoy the beautiful path. Its is hardly 3-4 kms and an easy trail. If you are lucky enough you get to see the valley covered with beautiful flowers specially during monsoon (mid July- September end). Or you can choose the small path going via sunset point which connects to manki point in between and is about 1-1.5kms and slightly steep. Phones, smart watches and bags are not allowed inside the temple area as it is a Cantt area and you can submit your belongings by paying some charges. Carry cash as you will be needing it for buying food/water inside the temple premises. After entering the cantt area, temple is half kilometer on top with 282 stairs. You can enjoy the view from top. Beware of monkeys if carrying food items.

the Sanjeevani Hanuman Temple is a must visit place in kasauli. Located atop a mountain, the temple is accessible only by foot. Be aware that it's situated within an Air Force station, meaning no mobile phones or electronic devices are allowed inside. A paid locker facility is available to store your belongings before you proceed. Security checks are mandatory before entering the temple area. Please note that many Google Maps photos for this location are inaccurate due to the no-phone policy; they often depict other Kasauli locations. Despite these restrictions, the temple itself has a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere and is definitely worth the trek. One important tip: monkeys are abundant, so don't carry food items or other stuff in your hànd and it's advisable to visit in a group.

Amazing experience, slightly tiring as you have to climb your way and it’s steep. You get a beautiful view of Kasauli from the top, as it’s the highest point there and certainly hold high religious value and gives peace. A must visit place, if you are in Kasauli. I visited Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh early morning recently, and it was a refreshing experience! This man-made lake, built in 1958 by Le Corbusier’s team, is a serene spot with calm waters reflecting the Shivalik hills. The early morning vibe was magical—cool air, chirping birds, and a stunning sunrise painting the sky. The walking path was perfect for a peaceful stroll, and I loved watching locals jogging and practicing yoga. The nearby café served tasty snacks, adding to the charm. However, some areas had litter, which slightly detracted from the beauty. Also, more benches would’ve been nice for resting. Despite these, Sukhna Lake’s tranquility and scenic views make it a lovely spot to start the day in Chandigarh.

10/10 place. I went there for just hanging out. The weather inside is amazing. Beautiful scenery. You can roam around the whole place. Imagine how the movies were shot there. See the rich history of the building. The pictures I shot were pure gold. There is also a ticket to enter of ₹25 and I suggest you to take your own personal vehicle there but it is not a necessity.

Akshardham Temple, Largest Hindu temple in world is a divine place. It's more than temple, it's actually a hub of great architectural designs that are carved on rocks and marble. Main things to see: ceilings of each dome inside temple, pillars and Mandovar. Great example of great and rich culture.

Akshardham An amazing beautiful peaceful temple. Must visit place if you are in New Delhi. Metro station also there and is just 100 meter apart. Akshardham is really beautiful the main temple is really beautifully crafted. The outer architecture is beautiful and also the inner marbel architecture was more than beautiful. The roof of the main temple is just amazing. The best and the most beautiful part is the main temple where the colors are too good. Note :- You can not take your phone 📱, camera 📷, so you have to stand in the queue to summit them in the cloak room. Secure cloak room 5/5. After the cloak room there is a security check which will be done in a minute you just have to remove your wallet and belt and that's it they will check you and let you pass. Strong security check. Best place to visit.

The architecture is undoubtedly breathtaking and this place is worth a visit. However the staff is rude, timings of rides and events are not mentioned correctly on the website and not allowing purses or phones inside is incomprehensible. Why should we be asked to return or have to leave our valuables insecurely in cabs. Why not be transparant and allow cellphones. And what harm can purses and bags do...just use security measures. Even airports allow bags, so why shouldn't this place!!!

Super polluted and over crowded , this place is good wide open park and water areas to sit and spend good time with friends and family but but its so crowded and polluted that you can barely see india gate, all smoke and no visibility at 50-100m , and so many tour guides and travel group counting on your money, with some scammer and lots lots of force photographer, save your money, time and health, its better you divert towards any low crowd and good air place, i stopped smoking for quite sometime now but when i went to delhi i felt chest burn and heavy breathing problems. But its a good protected area , if government take proper steps then that place looks majestic

I recently visited India Gate, and it was a beautiful experience. The atmosphere felt calm and patriotic, especially in the evening when the entire area lights up. Standing in front of the monument and reading the names of the soldiers felt emotional and reminded me of India’s history and sacrifice. Overall, my visit to India Gate was peaceful, memorable, and definitely worth it. I would recommend everyone to visit at least once, especially during sunset.

One of the most iconic place in the NCR, a wonderful experience with all friends visited with me, the Auditorium complex and its decorations were interesting. Walking around inside the complex is a great experience. Always wanted to be here. And so it happened. I cannot say that I have never been here before. We especially enjoyed going to it. It’s definitely worth the price, and it’s good to go with your entire family or friends. In the end, it was worth it to experience an auditorium that has meant so much to so many.

Visual feast with beautiful settings. Particularly the sky roof is gorgeous and personifies the entire setting. Each hotel or store is basis a theme. Food is decent, photography is a strict no inside the hotels or stores. Selfies are okay if clicked one or two. Live performances are terrific. Opera / Dramas are additional. Stores are expensive as the goods are hand crafted.

⭐️⭐️ (2 stars only for the kind staff and good food) I’m giving 2 stars — and that too only because of the extremely generous and polite staff, and the surprisingly good food. Apart from that, the entire stay was a huge disappointment. The rooms were far from clean, full of insects, and felt completely neglected. The bathroom didn’t even have an exhaust fan, and there was no water in the tap — forget about using the shower. It was honestly shocking for a place that claims to be 4 stars property. Cleanliness and basic facilities were completely missing. Definitely not worth the money or the hassle. Wouldn’t recommend unless the management seriously upgrades the property and pays attention to hygiene and guest comfort.

We stayed at Sariska Tiger Camp Resort for our company’s offsite, and it was a wonderful experience. The property is peaceful and green, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful throughout. The team was also very accommodating with our requests and made sure everything ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend it for group outings or a weekend getaway!

The reception staff at this hotel are pathetic, and the property manager is just as bad. From the moment I arrived with two friends, we felt judged by the staff before we even said a word. Despite booking through Cleartrip for a better rate, they changed the room from what was initially shown. Not a single order was delivered on time. The hotel’s infrastructure is terrible and completely fails at basic customer satisfaction. To make matters worse, when we returned from dinner, the main door was locked and the staff were asleep, leaving no security at the entrance. Poor management, especially the arrogant receptionist from Kerala and the rude manager, makes this place unfit for the hospitality industry.

Firstly, visit the place before sunset or reach not later than 4 in the evening because the guard will suggest doing it quickly. By the time I reached there, it was closed (5 o'clock in the evening), so I just conversed with the guards; they were very friendly, and there was a Hanuman temple at the entrance. The whole vibe was different. I was very excited to be there, and my sister was feeling low at the same time.

The architecture is a beautiful blend of Rajput and Mughal styles, with intricately carved temples like the Gopinath and Someshwar Temples still somewhat intact. The main palace is mostly in ruins, but climbing to the top offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire complex and the surrounding hills. It's a photographer's paradise during the day. The "Haunted" Vibe: Did I see a ghost? No. Did I feel an unusual chill or hear crying children? Also no. However, there's an undeniable heaviness to the atmosphere, a profound stillness that makes you wonder about the tragic history. The official ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) sign explicitly warning against entry after sunset and before sunrise certainly adds to the mystique, making the ghost stories feel a little more real than they might otherwise. I decided not to hire a guide, but in hindsight, I wish I had; while the ruins are impressive, a local guide's dramatic retelling of the Princess Ratnavati and the cursed tantric stories would have enhanced the experience even more. My Verdict: Bhangarh Fort is absolutely worth a visit. It's not a spooky fright-fest during the day, but a genuinely beautiful and historically fascinating archaeological site. It was good to visit over there and diving into the history of Bhangarh fort. While going to the top there was a small area which was stinging too much due to the presence of bats. Good to go during October - April. Nature beauty is there and pics also come ausmn. If it is raining then do go in rubber slippers because you will confront the water coming from the nearby water falls.

Too much public now a days , so doesn’t looks like that much haunted as we felt previously 😃 over all great mythological story and a must visit place in your itinerary. The fort is one of the beautiful forts i have seen but if you are visiting this fort, you must wear sport-shoes as you have to walk around 8-10 km within the fort. Also, as the fort is having history with jodha bai, i recommend to take guide with you(200 rs charges). Also, elephant ride is available at the starting point to reach to the main gate of the mahel i.e chand pole.

went to amber palace, taking a jeep to get to the top of the castle. the visit was truly amazing because i had no expectations. there were lots of couples shooting for their wedding. there are so many hidden photo spots. the garden was beautifully managed and the castles (esp sheesh mahal, the mirror castle) were very intact and fascinating. if i had to choose only two spots to visit in the northern india i would choose taj mahal and amber palace.

Busy place, but really beautifull. To many people try to sell you stuff, be your guide or want to take pictures for money. Pretty annoying, you could not take one or two steps without being bothered, so -1 for that. The place itself had a lot of information signs, beautifull corners and places to Explorer or take pictures. But it was way to busy. We sometimes had to wait before we could walk up a stairs and taking a picture was not possible in some places. -1 for that. (Probably better if you can avoid the weekends!) The price was kind of alright 500 irp for International tourist. 100 per person for Indian, 20 per person for Indian Students, 150 per person for Foreign Students. In the end a place with great history and beauty.

Absolutely stunning place to be. It literally gave me goosebumps when i took the first glance at Amer Fort. Parking area is clean, helpful people there. A pro tip, please wear sports shoes as you have to walk a lot. Also, hire a guide if you really wanted to know the history of the Fort and king. Otherwise it's fine to roam around, click photos and adoring the historical architectural beauty. Don't try to go to Jaigarh from secret tunnel. It is 1.5km long and you will feel drained after that. Just go to Amer and then visit Jaigarh and Nahargarh by car. You need whole day for these forts, so plan accordingly.

Amber palace is the best and must to visit place in Jaipur. On weekends there is heavy rush on this fort. It took us almost one hour to reach parking area of fort. The fort ia very nice architectural monument. The Diwan e Khas or Shish mahal is the main attraction of Ambet fort. There are other areas like Diwan e Aam, King's bathroom, various rooms are also nice to see.

The magnificient Amer palace looks majestic on top of a hill. The view from below the hill is mindblowing. The road to the palace is narrow and crowded,but the palace is worth the time spent navigating and reaching the palace. You will get to see the kingly palace, its gardens,fountains, huge halls and hallways, the kings bath etc etc. Be ready to spend good amount of time here. Its the main attraction of jaipur city. There are enough gaurds and security to help us around with directions. Hire a good guide if you wanto explore the history of Amer palace.

A part of the Jaipur king's palace is open to visitors as museum. Ticket rate of 300rs per person. Wonderful museum. Most of it is covered, so okay to visit during daytime with high temperature. We visited in September 2025 Current descendents of the King reside in a part of this palace, which is not open to regular visitors. There is a private tour of 4000rs (if I remember right) per person, to view 4 rooms in the section where King resides. Anyone wanting to get a pic in the famous blue-white design room famous in social media - this is one of these 4 rooms available through the 4k rs ticket - don't be disappointed like me 😅

It's a beautiful place where the royal family lives. We buy a ticket for 300 but it was for very limited access, for entire palace the ticket was of 4000 which is huge. Even spending 300 for museum was not worth. The palace is definitely a good place and carrying a great history but spending 300 for visiting museum for 45 minutes is costly. Definitely a place to visit but cost is also royal.

That said, a small word of caution about the shops inside the palace complex. Many items are marketed as “authentic”, “royal”, or “handmade”, but the prices are heavily marked up. You can find very similar items — textiles, handicrafts, accessories and souvenirs — outside the palace for a fraction of the cost. A special mention for the perfume/attar shops inside: they narrate long stories about rare fragrances and royal formulas, but most of it is just regular attar being sold at extremely high prices. There’s no harm in browsing, but it’s better to buy perfumes and handicrafts from trusted markets outside. Overall, City Palace is an incredible place to experience the heritage of Jaipur, but be mindful of purchases inside the premises. In those times, people used to see this and know the time of the day and night. There is a wheel that actually tells the time. The spoke on which the sunray is there, its the hour and minutes follow after it. Absolute wonder.

A great structure and unique example of Indian architecture. It believes that this building is made without foundation. Lots of windows and beautiful look. Nice place to visit but you will face parking problem. In evening it looks much beautiful. Plan your visit in evening and you will love it.

It is built by Maharaj Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It is five storied structure and one of the tourist places in Jaipur. It is unique in its design. It looks like honeycomb as it has many small windows and balconies. These windows and balconies allowed royal women to observe the street life whereas these women will be remain unseen to outsider on street. These windows and balconies also provides cool breeze. Thats why the name is Hawa Mahal ( Palace of winds). It is open at 9.30 am and closes 7.00 pm. The closing time varies on season basis. Entry fee is 50 rs for Indian citizen.

Our first tiger safari was very enjoyable but we did not see a tiger. They were spotted by forest ranges near us but with it being just after the wet monsoon period it’s very green and beautiful with lots of long grass for tigers to hide. It also means there’s many places for them to and their prey to drink so they are spread out a lot. We still enjoyed it and our guide and driver are excellent and really trying. We didn’t see a sloth, leopard or jackal either. We saw deer, boars, monkeys many bird type including peacocks and eagles. Hopefully we will see a tiger. I was very grateful that we got to go to Zone 5 in the park as it’s entrave is only 15min from Aman-I-khas luxury tented camp which is the best place to stay in the area. I have had problems with my eye retinas detaching so it’s quite a risk on these bumpy roads. I really hope we get another close zone tomorrow and see a tiger. It will be our only trip to India and it took so long to get to the national park. I will update after tomorrow’s safari.

It's a picturesque national park of about 1800sq km, but it may be vast but feels intimate and beautiful with mountains & lakes. We came to see a tiger and after three visits we were unlucky. But luckily we did see a black bear and lots of birds and dear..Great time dispite the road at times.

I went on a safari each through zones 1, 2 and 3 and was lucky enough to see a tiger on 2 of the safaris. There is a real variety of wildlife and each zone has such different scenery. I loved my time here and can't recommend it enough!

As a photography enthusiast, I was amazed by the natural light, landscapes, and wildlife moments — from majestic tigers to rare birds. Every turn in the park offered something worth capturing. The overall hospitality and arrangements around the park were excellent too. Visited zone 3 which Is known for higher chances of Tiger sightseeing and luckily we spotted one in the morning safari. We booked canter and was a good experience . It's a 20 seater open truck.. Route being same for Jeep and Canter.. Zone 3 is also famous for its lakes. Two of them being Rajbagh Lake and Padam Lake..also has beautiful Hunting palace and Johri mahal which is very picturesqueanda gives the heritage touch

Not worth, went there end of October, morning and evening safari, didn't see any tigers and neither did any of the people we met at our hotel. There was not much to look at otherwise, we were falling asleep the whole 3 hours on each safari ride. The safari booking is basically only possible though a hotel which will rip you off big time for it. On the ticket is says 1600 INR per person in canter. I think you just need to be extremely lucky. I doubt that the people in jeeps saw anything. If there was a tiger to see they would see it from more close up but that's it. It's 1700 square meters of park, 10 zones, they always take you to just one. Total of 69 tiger. Count your chances. Like you might be right next to it and not see it because there is a bush. Simply overhyped. There's trash too. UPDATE: went to Kaziranga in Assam and saw a tiger 3 times, out of our 3 safari rides (we were lucky but still), the national park is waaay better.

Tiger sightings are common in Zones 2, 3, and 4, and many visitors get lucky early in the morning 🌅🐅. Even if you don’t spot a tiger, you’ll still enjoy deer, crocodiles, monkeys, peacocks, and tons of colorful birds 🦌🦚🐊. Safaris are well-organized with trained guides, but a gypsy is always a better choice than a canter for photography and viewing comfort 🚙📸. Water bottles are a must, as safaris can be long and dusty 💧. The atmosphere is thrilling yet peaceful, and the landscapes—especially Zone 3 at sunset—are breathtaking ❤️🌄. Though some days can be crowded or strict with rules, the experience is unforgettable. Overall, Ranthambore is a must-visit for anyone who loves nature, wildlife, and adventure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. However, one small disappointment is that the tourism department should make greater efforts to preserve the original cave paintings. The colors, though still visible, are fading slowly with time. These murals are a priceless part of India’s cultural heritage and deserve careful restoration to maintain their charm for future generations. If you have to choose between visiting just one — visit Ajanta Caves. They are truly mesmerizing, spiritually uplifting, and showcase the artistic brilliance of ancient India like no other place.

The site is well-maintained, though the climb can be a bit steep, so wearing comfortable shoes is a must. When we were here, after we crossed a cave there were some rocks falling from above, fortunately nobody was severely injured. Also, the view from the top overlooking the Waghora River is breathtaking. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates history, art, or spirituality. Truly one of India’s greatest heritage treasures! This place is of historical/ archeological relevance and it is a World Heritage Site. No wonder Aurangabad is the tourism capital of Maharashtra! Definitely worth a visit with your family.

Magnificent historical treasure. Must be on bucket list of all indians. One can finish the visit easily in a day from Aurangabad. There are two ways of reaching caves. One is beautiful mildly challenging trek of appx 1.5 km from Ajanta View point. One can park the car and take the trek to and fro to caves, this trek reaches directly at cave no. 8. Another option is the main entry 22 km more from this Ajanta View point, park own vehicle and take shuttle bus which will take you to caves. Inside caves, walk of 1-2 km with steps at many places is involved. At many caves, shoes are not allowed. Drinking water and toilets are available inside premises. Carry umbrella if you don't like the sun. The caves are worth your time and effort and it may take 2-3 hours to visit entire area.

Saputara Lake is naturally beautiful, but the overall experience wasn’t enjoyable. The place was very crowded, and it felt like there was hardly any space to relax or take in the view peacefully. On top of that, almost everything around the lake was costly—food stalls, boating tickets, even basic things like parking. The crowd and high prices really took away from the charm of the lake. It could be a nice spot if managed better, but right now it feels more commercial than relaxing.

Nice place to hang out. There are too many nearby places to visit. Also number of sports activities are also available. You need at least 2-3 days to explore and enjoy at saputara.

Saputara Lake is one of the most peaceful and scenic attractions in Saputara. Surrounded by green hills and a calm environment, it is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy nature. The lake is clean and well-maintained, and boating here is a wonderful experience, especially in the evening when the cool breeze and sunset create a beautiful view. There are also food stalls and small shops nearby, which add to the charm without disturbing the natural beauty. It is a great place for family outings, photography, or just spending quiet time with friends. Visiting Saputara is incomplete without enjoying the serenity of this lake.”

Pleasant view but boating experience was not good for solo person. But with a family of 4 or 6 will get a good condition paddle boat to enjoy the ride in Lake. Activities near Lake are good and variety of food options available.

These caves were made between the 6th and 10th centuries, and the carvings on the rocks are truly beautiful and detailed. The most famous part of Ellora is the Kailasa Temple (Cave 16). It is carved out of one huge rock and looks stunning. It’s hard to believe that such a big and detailed temple was made so long ago with simple tools. The walls, pillars, and statues of gods and goddesses are full of fine artwork and devotion. The place is calm and well-maintained, with clear signs and clean paths. Visiting early in the morning or evening is best to avoid the heat and crowds. Local guides can explain the history and stories of each cave very well. Ellora Caves is not just a sightseeing spot—it is a wonderful journey into India’s ancient history. It is a must-visit for anyone who loves art, history, or peaceful heritage places. There are 34 caves in total, each with its own unique carvings, sculptures, and stories. What really blew my mind was the Kailasa Temple (Cave 16), which is carved entirely from a single massive rock. Just imagining the amount of time, effort, and creativity that must have gone into it left me speechless. Walking through the caves, I could actually feel the blend of Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain cultures that coexisted here. The artwork on the walls, the detailed pillars, and the peaceful atmosphere make it feel like stepping back in time. It’s not just a tourist spot, it’s a living piece of history. The surroundings are also beautiful, with cliffs, greenery, and a calm breeze that adds to the charm. If you ever visit Maharashtra, I’d totally recommend spending a day here. The Kailasa Temple at Ellora Caves is a stunning, singular attraction, famous for being entirely carved from a single rock of the mountain. Not only does the temple feature beautiful idols of gods and animals, but some of these sculptures are carved into the temple walls in a distinctive 3D/360° style. Facilities around the complex are adequate, although carrying water helps, especially when exploring with family. Guides are available and add meaningful historical context that elevates the experience. The location offers a harmonious blend of history, culture, and artistry that leaves you humbled. One of the 12 jyotirlingas of lord Shiva. Really crowded on weekends, better to visit early to have a peaceful darshan. Male devotees need to remove their upper clothes before entering the temple. The security can be improved a bit. Mobiles are allowed but videography and photography are prohibited. I recommend not to fall for locals offering to help in the darshan queue. They just take you and leave before the temple entrance which is unofficially done. Men are allowed to go in and touch the lingam but women must stay behind the barricade positioned and take the blessings and offer prayers.

I had a very devotional and peaceful experience at Shri Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. The atmosphere was filled with divine energy, and getting Sparsh Darshan before 6 AM made it even more special and spiritual. Men are allowed for darshan only without a shirt, which adds to the traditional and devotional experience. Truly a blissful visit and a must for anyone seeking spiritual peace.
