This was my first experience with a hot spring and I was pleasantly surprised. It covered a bigger area than what I expected and the water was optimally hot for a bath. One thing about this spring is that the place seems to be neglected and the lighting is downright poor. I would suggest paying a visit to this place during the morning or the afternoon as you will not have to deal with the darkness. Totally worth checking out as there isn't a lot of hot springs in India.

Beautiful place with nice scenery. Mountains all around and the hot water spring is just amazing. Nature is so wonderful that between the chilling snow and super cold weather, you will see boiling hot water coming out of nowhere. Stayed for 3 days in the year 2017. The Gurudwara welcomes everyone with open arms and teaches humility and community service. Taking a dip in the hot pond which is all natural is the best thing. The marvel of life rice being cooked in hot spring water. Safe for girls.

I visited the Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara in Kasol.I had langar there which was simple yet delicious. The highlight was the natural hot spring inside the gurudwara complex it’s like a natural sauna surrounded by the Himalayas! A place that touches both your heart and soul.

It was heartwarming to see people from all walks of life sitting together and sharing a meal in such a peaceful environment. Just beside the Gurudwara, we marveled at the natural hot springs that are believed to have healing properties. The steam rising from the springs in the cool mountain air created a magical atmosphere. Watching people cook rice and lentils in the hot spring water was both fascinating and unique. The entire experience combined spiritual peace, natural wonder, and human kindness in a way that left a lasting impression on all of us.

This hot water kund is located at mani Karan ..it is open kund for gents and for ladies closed bath rooms are for bathing and dress changing. The hot water is attached to these bath rooms. Really it is a mystery for everyone

This is a place you shouldn't miss when visiting Manali. This is a religious place along with a hot water spring bath that has separate bathing facilities for men and women. We can do puja here as well and the architecture of the temple looks very nice. However, I need to mention that the place is unclean and no toilets are present nearby. The toilets are far away and dirty, also a place for bathing is not very isolated.

Holy place to have bath in the Kund. For ladies separate Kund available for bath, according to Hindu religion everyone shud take bath, who can reach over here. In this place Maharishi vashisht temple is situated. The road is too narrow for crossing two cars. Paid parking available here. Lot of shops available for food and shopping. Wooden Name plates you can buy on very cheap rates.

Very small place... men bath is there , but women can see only the outside water taps with hot water, the place crowded with local women washing their clothes inspite of a board saying "washing of clothes not allowed"..

This place in manali in no less than a spa.... ... its a beautiful place with hot water...that can relax you form all your burdens....however tired you are....go there and take bath...but prevent your hair from sulfur....and also dizzyness...

I visited Jalori Pass during my solo trip in June 2024 and even without snow the place felt magical. The moment you start heading up from Jibhi the scenery begins to change. The road is around 12 km but it’s very steep and narrow and if a vehicle comes from the opposite direction there can be huge traffic especially around the curves. So if you’re driving yourself or even taking a cab just be prepared for that. You can get a shared cab from Jibhi to the starting point or if you have time you can wait for the local bus which comes every one or two hours. Once you reach the top you will find a small temple and a few stalls selling tea Maggi and snacks. I took a short break there before starting the 360 viewpoint trek. The trek itself is about 45 minutes to an hour depending on your speed. It’s slightly steep in places but very doable and the trail goes through pine trees and greenery all around. The higher you go the more peaceful it gets. And the view from the 360 viewpoint is simply stunning. You can see the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar mountain ranges surrounding you in every direction. It feels like the sky opens up and the mountains just keep rolling one after the other. I sat there for a long time just soaking in the view breathing in the cold fresh air and enjoying the silence. It was one of the most calming moments of my trip. This is the kind of place that doesn’t need too many words or activities. Just reaching there sitting quietly and looking at the mountains is enough to make you feel peaceful. Bus drops off right at the temple and you can start trek straight away. 5km one way through the forest. On the other side is Raghupr fort another trek.The lake is small pond.Serolsar Lake is in Tirthan Valley of Himachal Pradesh, located 75 km away from Kullu. The lake is situated at an altitude of 10,170 ft. To access the lake, you've to trek for 5 km. The trek starts from Jalori Pass, the highest altitude point that connects Kullu valley and Shimla Valley. The lake is guarded by thick tall pine trees on all sides. Next to the lake is Budhi Nagin temple. Serolsar Lake is surrounded by a narrow track and a fence around it. The Serolsar Lake wears stunning colours during different times of the year. The lake looks white during winter, half snow-covered and half green during spring and summer, and lush green during monsoon and post-monsoon. This is something worth observing if you have the oppurtuinty to trek multiple times to this lake. Apart from the scenic beauty, the Serolsar lake has religious significance as well. Ilt is a pilgrimage place for the locals. Locals from the surrounding villages come here every saturday to do the parikrama. They mostly offer ghee and oil to the local diety. It is believed the goddess is submerged in the lake and protects the entire region. Serolsar Lake trek is a paradise for someone who loves forest trails. The entire trail is through the dense pine and deodar forests. You also encounter clearings after every hour of the trek which makes them nice resting spots for trekkers to rejoice. From the 360-degree Viewpoint, you get great views of Pir Panjal and the Great Himalayan range. Serolsar Lake trek is an easy trek. It can be done by both fit beginners and experienced trekkers. It's a series of gradual ascents and descents until you reach the lake. The only steep ascent you encounter on this trail is the one that takes you to the 360-degree Viewpoint.

Jalori pass ... The most beautiful trek I have witnessed Start from SoJa . Went during February end and it's the last snow of that season. The whole trek was covered with snow .. 2 feet deep. And it's just heavenly. - wear snow boots as u can get cold feet and take a good amount of food and water if you are starting this Trek. - at the top around 12 km away is the mountain 360 degree view and a beautiful temple is located. - there all the camps and food stalls are available but during heavy snow , all get covered and shut down. - from the temple there is a trek of 3 km to the fort - for having a fort view. - also 2 km away from this point going above is the place where 🎥 " yeh Jawani hai devani" movie shoot was held.. it's just snow covered trek and you can see all way the white 🤍🤍🤍 color.. - the trek is just freaking awesome and you will have wonderful picture points and views during the journey. ❄️❄️ Feel and Experience this beautiful 🤩🤩 snow covered place.

Jalori Pass - The most beautiful place I have ever seen. At entrance you will see the temple of Mahadev and Durga Maa. In snow ❄️, Jalori pass looks absolutely stunning, beautiful, awesome, I won’t have words to describe this place beauty, all the around if you will se their would be snow covered mountains 🏔️ with surrounding trees make this place looks more eye catching and beautiful. The people here around are so nice and friendly. I visited this place on march 21, 2025. At that time it was all around snow and make sure you take up warm clothes when you visit here, because in the evening the temperature plunges very down, and chilled air make you feel more colder and coldest so caps, mufflers, gloves along with very warm jackets make you feel warmer over here.

Hadimba temple is very beautiful temple surrounded by pine trees. My advice will be to vist in early morning to get quite environment and good pictures. The outside of building has beautiful wooden carvings. There also many local shopes in the surrounding area.

If you live medieval vibes, this place can be in your list. Perfectly offers the medieval vibes. The castle is made of wood and now has been turned into hotel if you want luxury. The castle has an amazing view of the valley. But on weekends it might get crowded and noisy.

Naggar Castle is an absolute gem! 🏰✨ Located just a short drive from Manali, it’s a perfect blend of history, architecture, and breathtaking mountain views. The 15th-century wooden structure has been beautifully preserved and offers a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds. You can walk around the castle, explore the museum inside, and enjoy a cup of chai while soaking in the stunning valley views from the balcony. The place has an old-world charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. I stayed nearby at @thelandsbynaggar, which made visiting the castle super convenient — highly recommended if you want a quiet and scenic getaway. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in or around Manali! 🌄

Very beautiful palace. They say on a good day you can see kullu and manali. However when I want it was under restoration, so most of rooms were shut. But they let me walked around. The parking is a little away, and it is at a price. The palace holds a very old temple as well. Ahead of the palace is a russian art museum which is a must go. Further, lot of cafe are also there incase you want to try some bakery items. If you are in manali, then this can be kept for a half day visit on your way back or during your rest days.

A Missed Opportunity to Showcase Heritage 🏯 I recently visited Naggar Castle, a historic site in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh. While the structure itself carries architectural beauty and old-world charm, the overall experience was disappointing. There is a serious lack of historical insight offered to visitors—just one information board at the entrance, with no detailed descriptions or curated displays inside. For an entry fee of ₹50 per person, one would reasonably expect more value in terms of context and storytelling. It’s unfortunate that Himachal Pradesh Tourism seems to be treating the site more as a resort and restaurant venue rather than preserving and presenting it as a cultural landmark. The history of the castle deserves to be highlighted, with proper restoration and interpretation to truly make it a meaningful tourist attraction. This place has potential—it just needs attention and respect towards its historical significance.

Must see! The architecture is very cool and the view is amazing. It was actually closed on the morning that I went, but the men at the reception were extremely kind and let me walk around without buying a ticket.

Unfortunately for me, the castle was closed for renovation. I could only see some parts of its exterior. In any case, there is hardly any maintenance. I feel it should be taken over by the ASI. Also, private building much bigger and grander than the palace near its vicinity must not be allowed. There is too much of unregulated commercialization around it. There is hardly any parking space.

The temple is about 4 km uphill trek from the car parking. It is a moderately tough trekk. The route is well laid with stairs and has a good cover of forest trees. Temple is very beautiful, and the scenery around the temple, especially behind the temple, is something that should not be missed at all. The temple was not very crowded when we visited.

The journey itself is beautiful, winding through small villages and forests. The final climb is a bit steep, but the reward at the top is absolutely priceless. The most magical time to visit is during the monsoon or just a day after it has rained. We went after a rainfall, and the sky was crystal clear. The view of Bhuntar town and the Parvati River valley below was incredibly sharp and breathtaking. It felt like we were on top of the world! Another great thing is the road connectivity. The road leading to the trek's starting point is well-connected to the main NH3 highway, making it very easy to reach by car or taxi. We also noticed many charming homestays in the surrounding villages, offering a comfortable and authentic stay for trekkers. This place is perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful yet adventurous getaway. Highly recommended for a unique experience

Must visit Lord shiva temple if you are in or around Kullu-Manali. It is believed that lightning (bijli) strikes the lingam and then it is restored using local butter making it unique and powerful. To reach here, you have 3 routes - 1. Main one via Kullu & Chansari - I took this one on my scooter which includes 21 kms ride from Kullu till the trekking point near Gobha village. Bus drops you near Dharth village. Trekking is around 1.5-2 kms which took me an hour. 2. Via Jana - it is risky and steep but I heard that you can directly reach the top on your vehicle. Was inaccessible at my time. 3. Via Kasol side - Long & dangerous. Locals suggested not to go from that. Google map shows that one only. All the three sides - Kullu, Bhuntar and Kasol are visible from the top. I didn’t find any stay facilities there but you have food and washrooms. Weather was very unpredictable so I rushed back asap. Locals are very helpful and kind. P.S - The ropeway work is ongoing and locals are protesting against it citing the deforestation and environmental damage. Date of Visit - 26th March 2025

If someone plans to visit, please make sure to visit between the months of July and October. We visited in the month of April and were very sad to see fallen apple trees. Still the people show a full of apples garden and charge a lot of money which is not at all worth it. There are only 2 ways to visit this place. One is a horse ride and the other is a 4X4 vehicle drive. People here charge Rs.1500 for horse ride per head and Rs.2000 for vehicle drive. This package includes 6 adventure rides and 6 places to see. To be Frank, no one will be able to do all the 6 rides and visit all the 6 places. Additionally, once you enter inside, you will be forced to opt for an ATV ride for about 1.5 km which is again Rs.500. Spending money is not a deal but trust me the money that you're gonna spend here is not at all worth it. A kind note that your outfit will definitely become muddy by the time you come out. It's really beneficial to carry a mask with you since this place is full of mud.

We went there in the starting days of July and the weather was too pleasing there. Bright sun, rain, fog, clouds all at the same moment. It was amazing Adventure trip

Worth exploring locals are so humble and polite selling food and drinks on top of hill with a nominal pricing. Activities are horse riding, yak photo shoot, Gypsy or 4X4 car ride on top, and other adventure activities. Also must try telescopic views activity there.

Kufri: 1. Gypsy Ride: ₹6,000 for 4 people (3rd week of april 25) seems not reasonable, also the ₹50/person environmental charge wasn't reflected in the cleanliness. Areas for Improvement 1. Cleanliness: Despite the environmental/cleanliness charge, the area didn't seem clean. 2. Crowds: Rides were overcrowded, which might detract from the experience. Recommendations 1. Gypsy Off-Roading: Although pricey (₹1500/person), it's a unique experience worth considering. 2. Alternative Options: For smaller adventures, other options might be more suitable.

Don't visit in April may and June. Wrost place. Locals are charges 3000/- Rs. Don't pay for one kilometre ride. Apple garden no apples was there. Activities area are good. Small little bit zipline. I think this place was good in snow time duration.

It was a one-of-a-kind experience, especially in the snow. We trekked alone through the snowy landscape and even witnessed live snowfall. The next morning, the view was absolutely breathtaking. However, it was so cold that taking photos was a real challenge.

It is a peaceful and beautiful spot surrounded by nature. It holds religious importance as it is linked to Sage Rishi Parashar..so visitors are requested to avoid smoking, drinking or loud music. Jakhu Temple (also Jakhoo Temple) is an ancient temple in Shimla,Himachal Pradesh, India, dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Hanuman. A giant 108-feet-high idol of Hanuman was unveiled at Jakhu Hanuman temple on 4 November 2010. The temple is accessible by foot, horse, taxi or ropeway. The Jakhu Ropeway is an aerial lift that links a point near the centre of Shimla to the temple. It was developed by Jagson International Limited and opened in 2017.

It was really peaceful and divine. The bhandaar was soo tasty and there was variety of food given with prasad too. You can either go in your own vehicle or there are some guys available near the church who will arrange your up and down journey - which was quite convenient and fast as they have a shortcut way of only 3-4kms. (They took 500 from us for drop and pick outside the temple). After you've reached outside the temple, there are stairs (no fee) and escalator (Rs. 20 ticket per person) available to the temple.

Visited Jakhu Temple in Shimla for Hanuman Ji’s darshan. We took a private van from the Clock Tower for ₹300 (up & down for two people), though there’s also an HRTC bus available for around ₹30 which comes every 30–50 minutes. There are a lot of monkeys around; they’re not harmful but you need to be careful with your belongings. Standing below the huge Hanuman statue and offering prayers felt truly divine and peaceful. A must-visit spot for a calm spiritual experience.”

Hanuman temple is certainly worth visiting. You can walk or take the pods...when arriving watch out for the monkeys as the like to grab the food. The temple is on a mountain so the view is wonderful.

You won’t feel like in India by looking at the buildings at scandal point when you are Shimla. Don’t get confused if driver tells you they are also going to cover the this point separately since it is next to The Ridge. You have to follow the same route. Just keep walking because vehicles are not allowed here.

Good place for a long walk. At night it looks amazing and you can see amazing views of church and other attractions near scandal point.

It is the point where the Mall, the route to the Ridge and that to the GPO meet. It is regarded by many to have got its name from where an erstwhile Maharaja of Patiala carried off a British Commander-in-Chief's daughter. While Bhupinder Singh, the Maharaja in question, is known to have cut a finger that was more than dashing, it is unlikely that the Maharaja or the lady would have been out on the streets airing their love.

Famous for first high profile love scandal of India. Patiala Maharaj fell in love with viceroy daughter and got to know that she visited place regularly. He came on horse and took her away. A very famous place on Mall road, Shimla.

The Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) is a research institute in Shimla, housed in the former Viceregal Lodge, a must visit Historical place..built between 1884 and 1888 as the summer residence for the Viceroy of India. After India's independence, the lodge was renamed Rashtrapati Niwas (President's House). Loads of jaw dropping advanced features built e.g. Concealed Electrical wiring, advanced Fire fighting system, 200 years old working pendulum, walnut interiors. etc... Its amazing..!! It also contains rare archives, If you are visiting Shimla and keep interest in History...a must must visit. PS - Photography inside the building is prohibited.

The Viceregal Lodge in Shimla is one of those places that instantly takes you back in time. The moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by extraordinary architecture, intricate woodwork, and an atmosphere that reflects the grandeur of the British era. The building itself is absolutely stunning — every corridor, staircase, and room tells a story of its own. The lush gardens outside and the panoramic views from the hilltop add even more charm to the visit. We took the guided tour, which was informative and helped us understand the historical significance of each section of the lodge. However, I personally felt that the tour was a bit rushed. Even though the guide mentioned that we could take our time, we were quickly moved from one room to another. I would have loved to pause longer and really soak in the details — the furniture, the photos, and the artifacts that make this place so special. Despite that, it’s a must-visit attraction in Shimla. The architecture alone makes it worth the trip, and if you’re someone who appreciates history, art, or old-world charm, you’ll definitely enjoy it here. I’d recommend visiting early in the day to truly take in its beauty and peaceful surroundings.

Vicergal lodge named as 13 British viceroys used this placec as residence and used as their capital for 8months every year as summer capital. Draft of partition of India was discussed here. Dr S Radhakrishnan converted this to educational institute IIAS, now offers advanced studies in social science and humanities. British era history involved in this building. 137 years old now. But sad to see poor maintenance and upkeep of structure inspite of hefty entry fee to stay 30 mins inside the building as guided tour.

Situated at 2.5 kms from Shimla railway station, this used to the de-facto power base in India during the British times for 8 months. The first building in Shimla to get electricity, it also saw time as Independent India's first President House for around a decade. Guided tours are available but too many people are stuffed in them and one can't properly appreciate the amount of history (usually in form of images and lettering). A proper way would be to let people go in and browse at their own leisure. Alas, one can't have that. Only the ground floor is accessible (4 odd rooms) to public. There is a lawn and small garden outside as well.

Rewalsar Lake is calm, beautiful, and a great place to just sit, chill, and stare into the distance like you’re solving the mysteries of life. The view is lovely, the breeze is nice… but let’s be honest — there’s not a whole lot to “do” here. And before you get any bright ideas — don’t feed the fish. Unless you’re carrying ₹5000 just for the fine. The fish look hungry, but the rules are stricter than school exams. There are some snack stalls nearby and a few places to try Tibetan food, which is actually pretty good and worth a bite. Overall: Great place to relax, click some peaceful pics, and enjoy the lake view — just don’t expect too much action. Come here when your soul needs a break, not when you’re craving an itinerary.

Rewalsar Lake is a serene and spiritual spot surrounded by three beautiful monasteries, a Gurudwara, and a small temple. The calm atmosphere is perfect for reflection—though the temple’s loud music at times disturbs the otherwise peaceful setting.

A very peaceful and holistic place .The whole town is surrounded around the lake People live over there in peace and harmony, mostly Tibetan. Good place to stay to purify your soul and mind.

It is located around 18-20 kms away from Ner Chowk. The road to reach there is narrow, and being widened at the very end. The whole town is located around the Lake. The lake is sacred amongst Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists. There’s a monastery, a Shiva temple and a Gurudwara around the lake. The lake is beautiful and it has lot of fish inside it. The garden needs a bit of maintenance and cleaning. There’s a car parking inside the lake premises.

Everything A grade, only to reach there especially for elderly is bit difficult.As vehicles are not allowed and got to walk steep road for 4 to 5 km is difficult . Govt should start e rickshaws for public.

This is the highest point of Kasauli. Took a cab all the way up to the air force sub station. From there it was a 30 min climb (would have been much faster if I was alone). It is just a lot of stairs but they are nicely paved and well maintained. Senior citizens and even 70+ year olds also come up if they take a lot of rest in between (there are places to sit and rest). The temple at the top has a peaceful vibe. There are monkeys here and you'll be instructed to not carry food in your hand. If you have the "prasadam" from the temple, carry them in your pockets. This is also known as the Monkey point or Manki point. Our cab driver told us "Manki" is not a spelling error but refers to the hindi word "mann ki" (something related to heart/soul) but not sure about it's authenticity. The main downside of visiting this place is that it is close to the air force station and all electronic devices are prohibited - meaning no photography at all. Most of the pics you see here on this pin are actually from different places in Kasauli (added erroneously ...smh). Some pictures of the temple can be taken from a km away from the Gilbert Trail if you zoom in. There is a paid locker where you submit your bags and devices and go for the hike.

Temple is located at 6500 feets. 300 steps to climb. Only taxis are allowed from Mall Road Car Parking or you trek for an hour. Mountain views are awesome. It is believed that during Lord Hanumans flight from himalayas bringing Sanjeevani booti his left foot was rested on this hill and hence the importance of this place. Mobiles, photography etc strictly prohibited 🚫 in this area.

Its a beautiful temple located on mountain top of kasauli. The visiting time is till 4pm all around the year and 1-2 is lunch time. There is no Entry fee. Taxi service is available from mall road to manki point for 200-250 rupees per person but I would highly recommend to cover the beautiful trail on foot as you get to enjoy the beautiful path. Its is hardly 3-4 kms and an easy trail. If you are lucky enough you get to see the valley covered with beautiful flowers specially during monsoon (mid July- September end). Or you can choose the small path going via sunset point which connects to manki point in between and is about 1-1.5kms and slightly steep. Phones, smart watches and bags are not allowed inside the temple area as it is a Cantt area and you can submit your belongings by paying some charges. Carry cash as you will be needing it for buying food/water inside the temple premises. After entering the cantt area, temple is half kilometer on top with 282 stairs. You can enjoy the view from top. Beware of monkeys if carrying food items.

Be aware that it's situated within an Air Force station, meaning no mobile phones or electronic devices are allowed inside. A paid locker facility is available to store your belongings before you proceed. Security checks are mandatory before entering the temple area. Please note that many Google Maps photos for this location are inaccurate due to the no-phone policy; they often depict other Kasauli locations. Despite these restrictions, the temple itself has a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere and is definitely worth the trek. One important tip: monkeys are abundant, so don't carry food items or other stuff in your hànd and it's advisable to visit in a group.

You get a beautiful view of Kasauli from the top, as it’s the highest point there and certainly hold high religious value and gives peace. A must visit place, if you are in Kasauli. No entry fee, no electronic gadget or cameras allowed but they have a paid counter to deposit your belongings safely.

Nice point to view nature and deep valley , must go ahead till the end, there is a rain shelter, go further behind it and see the magic, although rainy days are best to see but if you're before peak afternoon you can still enjoy the pleasant views

This temple is one of a kind. The moment I entered the temple, it felt like entering a fort, as you see lush green lawn ahead of you. (I have never seen such a sight in any other temple.) I really liked the fact that the govt. has preserved the original theme.

Beautiful Shivji Temple. Temple is in front of Baijnath Bus Stand. Temple is situated in the Main Baijnath market their you can visit it even if you are short on time. Temple premises are neat and clean. On a clear weather you can see magnificent Dhauladhar. Greenery all around the temple. Clean Washroom are available. Drinking water available. Langar is also available once a day.

Baijnath temple is a beautiful shiva temple in Kangra district of Himachal , according to some sources it’s one of the 12 jyotirlingas The beauty of the Dhauladhar valleys is worth seeing from this temple. This temple is famous for its mythology, architecture and beauty. According to mythology and available historical evidence, this temple was constructed by two merchant brothers named 'Ahuka' and 'Mamuk' in 1204 AD. According to a popular belief, the Pandavas built this temple during their exile in the Dwapar era It is known that Dussehra is not celebrated in Baijnath because Ravana was a beloved devotee of Shiva. It is said that once some local people burnt the effigy of Ravana during Dussehra and after this the organizers and their families had to face misfortune. After that no one tried to celebrate Dussehra here. The temples isn’t wheelchair accessible at all

The atmosphere of the temple is really good. It's very old temple and build quality is extraordinary. The carvings on the walls are extraordinary. You should attend aarti in evening. I have attended that twice. There was a group young devotees singing bhajans once and they really made our experience to next level. There is a place where children can play and we can click pics of natural beauty.

I visited Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh early morning recently, and it was a refreshing experience! This man-made lake, built in 1958 by Le Corbusier’s team, is a serene spot with calm waters reflecting the Shivalik hills. The early morning vibe was magical—cool air, chirping birds, and a stunning sunrise painting the sky. The walking path was perfect for a peaceful stroll, and I loved watching locals jogging and practicing yoga. The nearby café served tasty snacks, adding to the charm. However, some areas had litter, which slightly detracted from the beauty. Also, more benches would’ve been nice for resting. Despite these, Sukhna Lake’s tranquility and scenic views make it a lovely spot to start the day in Chandigarh.

While the garden is beautiful and well maintained; it feels very mechanical, just made for the sake of the city because the city is like the cities abroad. Garden is big and if you want to spend some peaceful time, then only you should visit.

Rose is one of the best attractions in Chandigarh. If you like roses and greenery you must visit this place. Although Chandigarh is very green but this place an its own vibe.

We went in November but there were almost no Rose's flowering. So better visit in February. But very nice garden to sit and relax.

It is a very nice and big garden where you can easily spend 2 to 3 hours. Childrens play area are also there. There are lots of varities of roses from all over the world. You can scan their QR code and know more information about them. Better to visit in winters as roses are more blossoms in that season.

After visiting the Gurudwara at Anandpur Sahib, I was looking for a place to have lunch when I came across the Virasat-e-Khalsa. I decided to visit with my family, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. On arrival, I discovered that the complex houses the Virasat-e-Khalsa Museum along with a beautiful park that you can explore. The museum is vast and beautifully curated, providing an immersive experience into the rich history, culture, and sacrifices of our Gurus. It showcases how they preserved and promoted the heritage of our land through challenging times, making it both educational and inspiring. The Virasat-e-Khalsa restaurant on-site serves simple yet delicious food at very reasonable prices. Overall, the Virasat-e-Khalsa complex provides a perfect combination of tasty food, a family-friendly atmosphere, and a deep cultural and historical experience — truly a must-visit in Anandpur Sahib

Very well designed, immersive galleries, informs about Sikhism in detailed narrative, impressive supporting visual narration. Iconic architecture by Moshe Safde and brilliant exhibits by NID. Ticketing could be improved, galleries could have more descriptions for further reference, sound from adjacent galleries distract.

Site - Huge. Landscape -Qater body around. Architecture - Architect Moshe Sedie, Israel. Interior - No idea- Great- 5 star. Art Work - No idea - The best and great. 5 star. Lighting - No idea- Very Poor- 1 star. Sound - No idea. Only if you download the app and use headphone. --- It has a beautiful architecture but more than that Art Work inside, displaying whole history of Sikhi starting from its inception to 1948. Everything so beautifully designed, executed various pavilions, it is totally mesmerising. Artist put so much effort to connect all dots well. But sadly, lighting design is upto 5% thus absolutely flawed. Very first three story pavillion has day & night theme depicting 24 hours life in Punjab from rural to urban, from shop to home to all religious places but time for night is longer than the day thus you are unable to see the beauty and hard work out by artist/s and from behind guards keeps whistling, insisting you to keep moving (though it was not crowded at all!!)!! And this fault in lighting design is everywhere, less or more, you can't even read some display texts!! Ita worth visiting multiple times. Required time duration to complete it - 3-4 hours. Toilets - lavish and clean. Timing -1000 to 1630 (Monday Closed). Timing must be recieved, must be open ar 0900.

This museum represents the rich history of Sikhism. Architecture, paintings and arts... everything is wonderful... i visited this place in the month of dec 24 note- it's opening and closing timings are different in summer and winter.

It's a wonderful place, truly fitted to it's earned name the 8th wonder of india. The only limitation is that no photography allowed inside but that too is Ok considering it would increase the crowd

visited Chintpurni Mata Temple in Amb, Una, and it was a truly blissful experience. We reached there by taxi, the road was smooth, though about half a kilometer before the temple it became a little sloppy. From the drop point, it was just a 10-minute walk to the shrine. The walk itself felt divine, surrounded by serenity and devotees. The temple is one of the Shakti Peethas, believed to be the place where the feet of Goddess Sati fell, making it a site of immense historical and spiritual importance. The aura inside the temple was filled with positive energy, giving me a deep sense of calm and strength. Overall, the visit was peaceful, well-organized, and spiritually uplifting. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking blessings, inner peace, and a connection with the divine.

Its a beautiful place depicting the famous and fabulous culture of punjab... They charge you at the entry and then everything inside is free of cost..there are plenty of things to do inside... they have live dance performance also... Its a vast area..you will require a lot of time to visit every corner of this place..

The thali was good however there was no fresh safed makhan or makki ka roti or even gulab jamun. The chai was poor because there was no option for no sugar the ladies who made the parantha were never listening to my grandmother who is seventy years old and kept giving her rotis not fresh tawa ka parantha. And the dancing was great however the music is deafening. However the kulfi, dhai Bhalla were amazing, the magic show was great however the chuski was too sweet, I would not recommend bringing the elderly to eat the snacks as it was way too sweet. In the whole Havel was good however this rangale punjab was poor as they didn’t have that many Punjabi food

Great place to enjoy evening. Staff is very nice and food at stalls and main room was awesome. Everything we tasted was superb. It’s an entertainment for family of all ages. Only problem was with astrologer who seems to be a fraud….. used a same old story which frauds use to extract money from you by scaring you. We saw this in Chokhi Dhani Jaipur too but there the guy was good and gave us option.

Locatuon is good right at the highway. Inside atmosphere is good but areawise is not so big. Cultural programme is great. Punjab old cluture is displayed everywhere which is good to see if you have come for the first time Inside a big restaurant is there which is included in the entry ticket but frankly I didnt like the food inside and the biggest reason is - We had so many small meals/ food around the restaurant ( stalls everywhere like chaat, candys, ice cream etc) inside and we got full and there is no place left for the dinner. We suggest you to have the fresh baked roti with makkahn and chutney stall and enjoy other small meals ( chaat, pani puri, candys, ice cream kulfi, aam panna jaggery tea etc.), for diner you can opt after sometime post your digestion. Evrything is included in the entry ticket. Overall I feel the entry ticket 1000 is over priced as the place is not so big and also the food option is limited. One time visit is good.

It was great experience with family and friends. But maintance was very poor. We visit science city on Saturday and there was many school students came to visit also. If you are planning the visit, try to plan on week days not on holidays

Beautiful landscape, lots of activities, simulators etc. 4-5 hours required to visit. Somethings require more maintenance but overall nice place.

This place is made to understand the basic concepts of science in a very interesting way. You must visit there once at this place. Very large area, I learned different topics of science there and also understand the basic structure and functioning of human body. It takes 5-6 hours to see all the things. Different topics are- Climate change, Laser show, Flight Simulator, Dome theatre and many more.

Nice place to visit. Particularly interesting for children. It is costly in terms of tickets and entertainement. But with the various activities, toy train, boating, shows, huge area, dinosaur park and children enjoyment, with paying the price. Some area was closed today but enough for the day. Normally they ask for package, you can take package which usually costs lower. There are many scenic area, if you like photography then I believe you should plan according for the day light or Sun light directions for best shots.

Science city is place worth to visit with the students who have some knowledge of science. It’s green, large campus with various blocks on subjects like electricity, laser shows, astronomical block etc is worth visiting.

Pushpa gujral science city, is a beautiful place fr fun, adventure and learning.. So much effort and precision must have been put in to make it wonderful and to keep it that way.. Dinosaur park is really amazing.. It looks so much real, u are bound to be scared.. Go there with kids and your family and you will love it to the core

Don't miss the Sports Science Centre; it is indeed one of a kind. The Dino Park is interesting. There is enough to keep curious kids interested, especially the Fun and Games oriented exhibits and installations. This place can take an entire day, so plan accordingly.

I still remember when alpha one mall was opened in amritsar, it was the biggest attraction point for entire majha block. Still it has the same charme. In fact it has developed so much in all these years. It's most crowded shopping mall of amritsar. Almost all famous brands are available here. Sitting arrangements of food court are amazing. The charm of this place always picks up the mood.

No covid 😷restrictions were there... No masks no social distance... No doubt beautiful companies showroom... All were empty.. Only few coustmer wre shopping.. Other people just freaking.. Busy n phone pic selfie 😅.. Hard time for business. Hope it will grow.. No discount season...

Beautiful, humbling place. There was so much to experience from the Golden temple to the jora service to the langar service to the gold sewa workshop. The museums on-site are also there to serve as a reminder of the resilience that Sikhs have had to have to survive and become a large community. There are many gurudwaras and soravars (lakes) on-site to take amrat as well. To be able to sit under the trees that some of the Gurus had done so was also wonderful. A beautiful place to visit.

A divine place. I have almost zero knowledge of Sikhism. But when I stand in th3 queue for 4 hours that is when I felt the presence different energy. I have been to Kashi, Ujjain and every where u have to stand in queue. A lot of pushing touching, but here people are standing together with families but with pure energy and devotion to "Guru"🙏
