A beautiful place to visit, weather it is with your beau, with friends or with your family. The serenity of the place is astonishing. The steps to Kempty falls is not so steep and is easily a short trek. The Kempty falls also provides a Ropeway cable for a price of Rs. 250/- per person (but all in cash) 😐. The snacks and food prices are a little steep but worth the climb. The Kempty falls also features boating area and a Drone camera facilities, on top of this, bathing facility is also there, where one can rent bathing suit for a price and enjoy.

As the first light breaks over the mountains, the entire valley glows in shades of orange, pink, and gold — it’s absolutely breathtaking. The cool morning breeze, the chirping of birds, and the peaceful silence make it feel like time stands still for a moment.

Kempty falls is one of the best places to visit in Mussoorie. The water falls from quite a height and is rather a magnificent sight. The waterfall can be accessed by climbing down some 150 steps or by a ropeway. It is a series of falls and can be viewed from different levels. The approach to the fall has large uneven steps and is not well arranged or maintained. But there are a few places where you can bathe in the collected water. There are some food stalls around and you can sit and eat with your feet dangling in the cool water. 30-45 minutes should be enough to visit the place. Highly recommended.

Akshardham Temple, Largest Hindu temple in world is a divine place. It's more than temple, it's actually a hub of great architectural designs that are carved on rocks and marble. Main things to see: ceilings of each dome inside temple, pillars and Mandovar. Great example of great and rich culture.

Akshardham An amazing beautiful peaceful temple. Must visit place if you are in New Delhi. Metro station also there and is just 100 meter apart. Akshardham is really beautiful the main temple is really beautifully crafted. The outer architecture is beautiful and also the inner marbel architecture was more than beautiful. The roof of the main temple is just amazing. The best and the most beautiful part is the main temple where the colors are too good. Note :- You can not take your phone 📱, camera 📷, so you have to stand in the queue to summit them in the cloak room. Secure cloak room 5/5. After the cloak room there is a security check which will be done in a minute you just have to remove your wallet and belt and that's it they will check you and let you pass. Strong security check. However the staff is rude, timings of rides and events are not mentioned correctly on the website and not allowing purses or phones inside is incomprehensible. Why should we be asked to return or have to leave our valuables insecurely in cabs. Why not be transparant and allow cellphones. And what harm can purses and bags do...just use security measures. Even airports allow bags, so why shouldn't this place!!!

Super polluted and over crowded , this place is good wide open park and water areas to sit and spend good time with friends and family but but its so crowded and polluted that you can barely see india gate, all smoke and no visibility at 50-100m , and so many tour guides and travel group counting on your money, with some scammer and lots lots of force photographer, save your money, time and health, its better you divert towards any low crowd and good air place, i stopped smoking for quite sometime now but when i went to delhi i felt chest burn and heavy breathing problems. I recently visited India Gate, and it was a beautiful experience. The atmosphere felt calm and patriotic, especially in the evening when the entire area lights up. Standing in front of the monument and reading the names of the soldiers felt emotional and reminded me of India’s history and sacrifice. Overall, my visit to India Gate was peaceful, memorable, and definitely worth it. I would recommend everyone to visit at least once, especially during sunset.

One of the most iconic place in the NCR, a wonderful experience with all friends visited with me, the Auditorium complex and its decorations were interesting. Walking around inside the complex is a great experience. Always wanted to be here. And so it happened. I cannot say that I have never been here before. We especially enjoyed going to it. It’s definitely worth the price, and it’s good to go with your entire family or friends. In the end, it was worth it to experience an auditorium that has meant so much to so many.

Worth going, lovely palaces and interesting history. We didn’t get a guide and we made do with the signs that are dotted about and it was fine! Inside guides were offering around 400 rupees for a tour if you were interested. We couldn’t pay by card at the counter, cheaper to buy tickets online than paying cash so would recommend doing that.

Best mode to explore is on bicycle as you can explore all the lanes. At the end other end there is a temple plus a cafe which is quite affordable. You will have to pay entry fee and bicycle rent. You take a guided tour where the guide will help you understand the birds migration pattern and how to best identify or locate the birds. Overall its good to visit one time.

When we were here, after we crossed a cave there were some rocks falling from above, fortunately nobody was severely injured. Also, the view from the top overlooking the Waghora River is breathtaking. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates history, art, or spirituality. Truly one of India’s greatest heritage treasures! This place is of historical/ archeological relevance and it is a World Heritage Site. No wonder Aurangabad is the tourism capital of Maharashtra! Magnificent historical treasure. Must be on bucket list of all indians. One can finish the visit easily in a day from Aurangabad. There are two ways of reaching caves. One is beautiful mildly challenging trek of appx 1.5 km from Ajanta View point. One can park the car and take the trek to and fro to caves, this trek reaches directly at cave no. 8. Another option is the main entry 22 km more from this Ajanta View point, park own vehicle and take shuttle bus which will take you to caves. Inside caves, walk of 1-2 km with steps at many places is involved. At many caves, shoes are not allowed. Drinking water and toilets are available inside premises. Carry umbrella if you don't like the sun. The caves are worth your time and effort and it may take 2-3 hours to visit entire area.

The Kailasa Temple at Ellora Caves is a stunning, singular attraction, famous for being entirely carved from a single rock of the mountain. Not only does the temple feature beautiful idols of gods and animals, but some of these sculptures are carved into the temple walls in a distinctive 3D/360° style. The lush green vineyards 🌿, open landscapes 🏞️, and calm ambience ✨ make it an excellent spot for a relaxing getaway. The property is very well-maintained, with lots of open spaces to walk around, click photos 📸🌸, and simply enjoy the fresh air. It truly feels like an escape from the busy city life. The entry fee is ₹1000 per person on weekends and ₹600 on weekdays 💰. The good part is that you get coupons of the same value, which can be redeemed inside at the restaurant or café 🍴. We used ours for food, and while the taste and quality were excellent 😋, the food items are a little on the expensive side 💸. Still, it balances out since the entry fee coupons cover a good part of the cost. Since we didn’t opt for wine tasting, our time was spent exploring the vineyard, enjoying the atmosphere, and relaxing over a family meal. The only drawback was that service can be a bit slow ⏳, and yes, prices are slightly premium. On weekends and public holidays, the entry fee is ₹1000 per person, while on weekdays it’s ₹700, which you can fully redeem for food, shopping, or wine tasting—like a prepaid coupon. The property is absolutely stunning, perfect for clicking beautiful pictures amidst the vineyards. We started our visit with a photo session and then headed for lunch. The food was good, though a bit on the expensive side. Post lunch, we opted for the wine tasting and tour (₹700 per person). The tour started with a short video and a factory walkthrough, where the process was explained in detail by their knowledgeable guide. This was followed by a tasting session of six different wines, one after another, which really helped us decide which wine to buy. Overall, Sula Vineyards is a must-visit place, whether with friends or family. It offers a perfect mix of scenic beauty, good food, and a delightful wine-tasting experience.

They don’t actually provide ₹100 coupons, which feels a bit misleading in their marketing. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful place and definitely worth visiting once!

Regarding stay there is Sai Udyan trust is available where they will give one doremetry bed and one locker for 15 rupees per day. If you are comfortable in this type stay you can go there, its clean and well maintained.

Shirdi Sai baba temple is a blissful and peaceful devotional place wherein the devotees with FAITH (Shraddha) in their heart get their wishes fulfilled. The temple premises is clean and well maintained. The prasadalay is also well maintained and you’re served food as much as you can eat. You’re not allowed waste any food. This rule should be applied everywhere so that people don’t water food. There is saying in Marathi - “Anna he purna Brahma”.

There are many gates to enter the temple but if you want to have a free darshan then enter from gate no. 7. The charge for VIP darshan is 200 rupees. You have to deposit your mobile in the clock room where the charge is 5 rupees per phone. You get darshan in 30 minutes. The management is very good, there is a provision to sit in the line inside and there is also a washroom and there is also a provision for many fan coller..

Hatsoff to the management. They have dedicated staff for handling lockers where devotees can keep their valuables as mobile and gadgets are not allowed inside the mandir.premises. We had experienced such a wonderful view of baba not once but twice.. want to visit again. Jai ho!!!

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is a peaceful and divine place to visit. Near Gate 6, you’ll find mobile lockers available for just Rs 5 per phone, along with free shoe stands. For free darshan, head to Gate 7, which you can reach from Dwarkamai Temple, if Dwarkamai is in front of you, go left and take the first right. You’ll pass the mobile lockers first, and then Gate 7 is right there. On weekends, the wait time for free darshan is usually around 3 hours, and the entire process can take 3-4 hours. We also visited once on a Monday morning around 6 AM, and it only took about 1.5 to 2 hours for the complete Darshan. If you prefer paid darshan, you can either book online in advance or book near temple, enter through Gate 6 when you arrive. Wait time is much lesser than free Darshan but it'll still take almost 2 if crowded. Inside the temple, there is usually some waiting time before darshan, so visitors are asked to sit in waiting halls. Opposite these halls, there’s a counter where you can get free unlimited tea and biscuits. They also sell chips and water at prices much lower than market rate. After darshan, don’t forget to pick up your free food coupons next to the neem tree. Near the exit, you will also receive packets of prasad and vibhooti. Additionally, there’s a laddu counter near the lendi garden entry, opposite the neem tree, where you can get the famous Shirdi laddu.

I had wanted to visit Dagdusheth Ganpati Mandir for a long time, and finally got the chance. Even though it was Diwali, the crowd was well-managed, and devotees were able to move around comfortably thanks to the efficient security personnel. One small improvement could be providing a tap or facility to wash hands, as we place our chappals on the stand with bare hands. Overall, the temple is well-organized, spiritually uplifting, and a must-visit for anyone coming to Pune.

There is also a regular darshan queue behind the temple where you can go without a pass. • Photography is not allowed inside the temple. If you wish to take pictures, you must visit the temple office and get proper permission first. • There is a shoe rack facility available where you can safely keep your footwear and get a token. Overall, a wonderful and peaceful darshan experience. Just be mindful about the approach road and parking, and everything else will be absolutely blissful. Sinhagad Fort turns absolutely magical during the monsoon. The entire trek is surrounded by lush green hills, misty clouds, and waterfalls along the way - it feels like walking through the clouds! The cool breeze, the smell of wet soil, and the panoramic views from the top make it an unforgettable experience. If you're trekking, start early in the morning to enjoy the foggy views and avoid crowds. Don't miss the famous kanda bhaji (onion fritters), pithla-bhakri, and chaas from the small stalls near the top - they taste heavenly after the climb! Parking can get a bit tricky on weekends, and it can get slippery in places, so wear good shoes. But overall, Sinhagad during monsoon is pure bliss - perfect for nature lovers, trekkers, and photographers.

There is lot of eateries for small snacks neare stairs and at the top. Small reasturants where you can enjoy home made lunch made by local people. Food Not too expensive. Enjoyable place. You can take your own food also. Better to carry water.

- I visited Sinhagad in November and it was really an awesome experience. - There are PMT buses after every 1 hour from Shaniwarwada to Sinhagad [convenient to take before 1pm]. - Two wheelers also available for a day to ride nearby area. - Make sure to meet the locals, eat the food on Sinhgad and feel the power of Maratha on fort. - Very beautifull and easy fort to climb and convenient for children also.

Sinhagad Fort is demotic in the history of the Maratha Empire, featuring the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj . It houses many representations (statues/busts) and even weapons related to them. The surrounding scenery is quite captivating, and the climb (trek) time to the fort offers very beautiful views. Trekking is too here. Visiting during the monsoon is highly recommended as the area is lush green and the weather is pleasant, though it gets very crowded on weekends. At the fort gates, various food items are available, such as roasted corn (bhutta), Vada Pav, Kanda Bhaji (onion fritters), tea, and Maggi (noodles), which delicious. The sunrise and sunset views from the fort are quite spectacular. The cleanliness here is well-maintained, and washroom facilities are also available. Overall, the experience is full of natural beauty and the joy of a wonderful, captivating atmosphere.

Outstanding place to visit for a vertical 5kms trek and climb or by motor-able road. Will have to still take stairs post trek for further explore… Saturday sunday its busy place with lot of footfall… rainy season is best if its open if not landslides. Best time is to reach by 6 am

Good trecking points are there. Apart from Nanaji statue and memorial, not much construction is there. Only the remnants of the exterior of the fort is available. But it is well maintained. Very good ethnic food varieties available inside, provided by locals, though slightly EXPENSIVE. Overall worth going.

This is the highest peak in Karnataka, stands tall at 6330 feet.👍 Named after sage Mullappa swamy, who believed to have mediated in a cave at the peak. Located 20+ KMs from Chikkamagaluru, would need 40+ minutes due to the winding and scenic hilly roads. Make a note to get the Mullayanagiri vehicle pass online in advance to allow the car thru the checkpost as there are limits on the number of vehicles entering in a day. Need to park the vehicle at Seethalayana giri base and avail a local jeep services (Rs.50 per person one way) there. Jeep drops at the Mullayanagiri base / parking lot and from there it is a 20-25 minutes climb through paved stairs. There are around 450+ stairs, not very even, challenging for people with mobility issues. The climb is beautiful, offers great views of Chikkamagaluru valleys, Baba Budangiri hills and Shola forests, grasslands and distant waterfalls There are no restrooms at the peak, carry water, At the base there are many food cart vendors for snacks. No restaurants or ATMs. Weather keeps changing, most of the time mist engulfs blocking the views and offers a different kind of experience. Carry a light jacket, may tend to get colder post monsoon. At the peak/summit, there is Mullappa swamy temple and a milestone mentioning the height. The summit area can be kept clean and neat, on the other side some old buildings, thrash and debris are seen. ☹️ Would be a great place for taking pics and enjoying scenery/nature 👍

Visited this place before local authorities has made booking tickets online. View is great. Morning views are still beautiful. There is a temple at the top. One can easily spend half a day. One has to park their vehicle near Seethalayyana giri and walk or take jeep for next 3km. Even if you take jeep ride, they'll stop around 1.5 km before actual peak. So, it is very much convenient to walk as the path is very good and not much steep. There are some food vendors near the temple and near Seethalayyana giri.

Great view point. We spent ₹100 at entry, we have to do the booking online only from the website we can do, if you haven’t done you can do at the toll, even if you have network issues they have wifi. Cars ₹100 There are slots, mostly in weekends better book earlier. Bike no charge So u can go by own vehicle or rental or by package too. Own vehicle earlier is allowed till top, now they stop 3km before peak saying its new DC order. Not sure from when and why this came up, but yeah yu can take a jeep from there. Per jeep minimum 6 ppl, per person cost ₹50. In total they charge ₹300 one way, if you are group of less than 6 then also same amount or if yu okay with sharing they u can let two ppl join you. Two way cost avg ₹100 for jeep, which is quiet expensive, and to be honest we can go by our car itself. At top we have small shops, and tower is very bad. They will leave u at entrance from there u have to take 300-350 steps to reach top and there is a temple. Views were so good, climate was chill carry jackets for comfort. Since we went on a weekday it was fully empty.

We visited Mullayanagiri around 11 AM, and the views were absolutely amazing — refreshing wind, scenic mountains, and a peaceful atmosphere. From the drop point, you need to climb around 500 steps to reach the peak, which is totally worth the effort. There is also a temple at the top that adds a spiritual feel to the experience, and the view from there is just stunning. However, the experience felt a bit commercialized. From Seethalayyanagiri parking, jeeps are the only option to reach the drop point, and they charge ₹200 one way. If bikes or cars were allowed instead of forcing everyone to take the jeep, the visit would be more hassle-free and less commercial. Overall, a beautiful place to visit — great for photos and nature lovers — but the transportation arrangement could be improved.

As I approached the temple, I could feel the spiritual energy enveloping the atmosphere, despite the crowd of devotees that had gathered. The intricate architecture of the white temple stood out beautifully against the blue sky, and the sounds of chanting filled the air, creating a serene yet lively ambience. Inside, the aroma of fresh flowers and incense wafted through the halls, enhancing the sacred experience. People of all ages were engaged in prayer and meditation, their faces reflecting a deep sense of peace and devotion. Nice place to worship Lord Krishna. Very well connected with metro and Bengaluru buses. In temple, darshan facilities, food & water facilities are good. Overall very good arrangements,cleanliness and nice experience. Only thing is no special feeling. It's like visiting any other temple. Maybe because temple is surrounded by big buildings; so not giving that divine vibes where we tries to connect with God with peace.

This place is serene and calm atmosphere to enlighten the spiritual experience within you. It is well connected with all public transport as it is located in the heart of the city. If you're driving a four wheeler then parking charges of 40 rupees collected. You shall easily spend an hour or three including the shopping of artifacts and other devotional items inside the temple premises. Multiple vaishnavaite deities are present here. Everything is maintained near and clean. An artificial waterfall and a lake add more charm to this place. This place is getting upgraded with more infrastructure as the construction is going on as well.

A Calming Green Oasis in Bengaluru Lalbagh Botanical Garden offers a decent escape from the city hustle. I had an "OK" experience, largely thanks to the wonderfully calm and fresh environment. If you're looking for a spot with natural bird sounds to truly cool down and relax your mind, this place is highly recommended. It's a true "lung space" for Bengaluru. A major plus was the e-cycle ride, which is a fantastic way to cover the vast garden expanse. The rental seemed to have a flexible pricing, as I saw options for a short ride. I did a ride. We also caught the artificial waterfall near the lake, which operates on a fixed schedule. We saw it running from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM. It adds a nice, serene touch to the lake area when it's on. My one major feeling was a slight lack of a "zoo" or large animal presence (apart from birds), which I missed—it felt more like a purely botanical experience rather than a nature park with diverse wildlife. However, for a botanical garden, all the basic amenities and facilities are well-maintained. It was a beautiful experience. The day was 🌞 I went with my family to explore the beauty of this huge botanical garden that has flora species dating back to hundreds of years ago. Enchanting. ❤️😇 We took the ride for 45 mins which is charged ₹100 per person. The guide thoroughly took us to different locations of the botanical garden taking small stops at specific points. Overall it was a nice experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the place. Recommended to family and friends. ✨

One of the prettiest garden I have ever visited. So beautiful, peaceful and huge. Our first option was Cubbon Park due to its ratings but when I visited this instead, I was glad. One of the best amusement parks in the country. Some rides are really high on thrill and adrenaline rush, especially their roller coaster- recoil, the twister, maverik etc. You must not miss the newly added adventure ride- Interstellar which is an experience in itself. The giant wheel at the 13th floor gives the best view of the park and the city. The waterpark isn’t great but has some good water slides and rides you can try. For extra fun you can try the rain dance shows, & especially the wave pool with the dj is so much fun. The best part is they hae made a division in the pool with 2 sides, one for family, couple, women; and other for only men. The crew keeps a check that everyone follows the rules properly and behaves. Some things to keep in mind. Some rides can have queues in rush time, but its doable; as the fastrack tickets are double the cost and not worth it as you can still do all rides without it, just make sure you reach before noon and are there till atleast 6pm. Noone specifically checked the costume for waterpark, but carry appropriate material clothes to enjoy the most, or you’ll have t o buy them at 350 bucks. The locker costs 350 rs, with an additional 50 bucks of the magnetic key watch band. There are multiple food joints and options to eat from. You’ll also find souvenir shops. Wait till post the sunset to see the beauty of the park in lights. You can take certain buses plying to and back from the park to city. Overall its a great experience and a must go to atleast once if you are adventurous soul.

Check offers before Booking! This place is really good for a day outing, don't start from the first ride, watch YouTube videos to see which one you don't wanna miss and be in queue for those in the start. First of all reach the place by 10 am to be aware of what to do, and how to go ahead. Normal queue Wait time is 30-70 minutes on each ride after 11:30. So decide wisely don't waste your time on not so worthy rides. We included three meals, it was a good decision so we didn't waste time deciding, what to eat. My recommendations at least include noon meal, so you can enjoy it and during the evening it will be your wish for what you wanna eat after rides. Take the longest hours, it's hardly the matter of 100-200/- rs but then after dinner also you may be able to do some fun rides if not water rides. Take the locker in advance or one of you may end up just looking after your stuff. Wear water rides approved clothing from the start , so you don't waste time changing clothes again and again. Wear rubber slippers/ crocs, it's easy for you to move around.

It’s India’s first space themed ride and the huge screen makes you feel like you’re actually floating in space definitely a must-try. Apart from that, the high thrill rides like Recoil were just insane. The water park section was also great the slides, the wave pool, the lazy river everything was just perfect for cooling off and chilling. The staff were polite and helpful throughout the day, and the locker and changing facilities were neat and clean. I also liked the food options inside decent variety and not too overpriced, which was nice. Overall, I had an absolute blast here! Whether you’re going with friends, family, or your partner, Wonderla guarantees a full day of fun, thrill, and amazing memories. Totally worth it! 🙌

Coming to **food**, the options are good and available at **reasonable prices**. Just one suggestion — avoid eating and then going for active water rides immediately, as it might cause a bit of discomfort. This was my 3rd visit but first time with family and kids. Beautiful park, everyone should visit for fun. Weather was supportive so you could enjoy water games. There's new addition to the park - Mission Interstellar. It was mind blowing. Never experienced before. For all games there's 25% of people with Fast track priority passes are sent in. With Halloween passes, all land games can be played even between 7 pm to 10 pm while games for regular passes are closed by 6 pm. Park timings on weekends is 11 am to 7 pm. Everything is fine except Food. Its totally SCAM. If you buy buffet online vs offline, the prices are different. If you buy Buffet lunch at entrance is 419 while online and inside its 500+. Any food like Fried rice or Noodles with non/veg manchurian and large coke combination is 410/- when you can buy Buffet for same price. The quality of food is pathetic. After spending good time, we felt disappointed with food quality with menu options and with exorbitant prices. I have provided same feedback to ground staff to improve food. Hence reduced the overall ratings.

I visited this palace when during my childhood, and it looks as stunning as it is even today as well. The painting and drawings on the walls are so beautiful and real that it gives a lifelong memories. Must visit if you want to let your child understand the history from closer lense.

visited Mysuru Zoo and really enjoyed the experience. I got to see the tiger, hippo, leopard, cheetah and giraffe, which was the highlight of my visit. All the animals looked healthy and active. The zoo is clean, well maintained and has lots of trees, so walking around felt relaxing. There are benches and water points along the way, which was helpful. The information boards near the animals were also easy to understand. It's a great place to visit with family and kids. Overall, I had a very good time at Mysuru Zoo and would definitely recommend it. Note: eat well before you enter

An absolute wow! Probably the best zoo in the whole country. All the animals are given plenty of space to wander around. So many species of animals, birds... And they even got some rare species, like white peacock, bengal tiger, black swan, etc. The zoo is veryyyy big, so u can easily spend ur whole afternoon here. They have clean restrooms, places for seating everywhere, and that too in a reasonable ticketprice... They also apply stickers on the plastic items u carry inside, in order to ensure no spoiling. Mysore zoo has always been great. It is one of the best zoo in the country. It is quite large with a lot of collection of different animals. Although zoo is not the right way to see animals where they are kept in captivity, Mysore zoo has kept the animals enclosures as close to their natural habitat environment as possible. The design of the animal enclosures are quite good and no compromise on the space. The animals also appear well fed and healthy. The zoo is almost always crowded. The zoo is quite large and the entire walk around the zoo is more than 2.6 km. But battery operated carts are available for the elderly and those in need. Plastic is not permitted inside the zoo. They collect ₹10 in case you are taking any plastic inside the zoo. This is refunded if you show the same when you come out of the zoo. There are lots of trash cans inside. Adequate toilets are also available inside. The full trip to the zoo could take anywhere from 3 to 6 hours depending on how fast one can walk. There is a lake with boating facility adjacent to the zoo. If one wishes, a combined ticket to the zoo and lake can be purchased.

One of the well maintained and the biggest zoo in South India. All the animals and birds looks active, if you visit in the morning soon after the opening time. You can see lots of big trees and resting seats all over the zoo. Trees are properly maintained. Animals are fed on time. We happened to see some doctors checking up with the animal caretakers. The entire zoo holds around 3km of area, so you will be burning up your calories for sure. A must visit place in mysore, if you have kids. Also, you can book your tickets through scanning the QR code shown before the ticket counter. So, the payment can be done through UPI without any hassles. You need not stand in the que for tickets. This is very much appreciative.

Walking gives you the full feel of the place, but the ride is a good option if you’re short on time or with small kids. Weekdays or mornings are the best time to avoid heavy crowds. Amazing caves and awe inspiring. The moss covered stones and support for access is great! The views are stunning. However, the parking is not easily identifiable, lots of these for cars are given to the buses. The hike from parking to the cave is moderately challenging, with 5-6 steep slopes. We went on a Sunday so it was extremely crowded with many people jumping queues and yelling. More staff is needed to manage the crowd on such days.

The journey begins at a parking ticket counter on the main road, the fee was ₹30 for a car. They assign a numbered parking area (ours was No. 7), and from there, you walk some distance before the line of small shops begins. The path gets progressively steeper, though it’s a tar road initially. After a long uphill walk, you’ll reach another ticket counter (₹50 per person) to continue further. Beyond this point, the path turns rocky and steeper, and you’ll need to climb or walk over rocks carefully. There’s even a narrow opening to pass through, a fun little adventure before you reach the upper section. The views from there are beautiful, and thankfully, steel railings have been installed to assist with the climb. At the top, on the right side, there’s a cave-like chamber where you can see ancient carvings, not very clear, but still fascinating to witness in person. The exit route is separate and has full steel railing support for an easier descent. ⚠️ Note: The climb is not suitable for elderly visitors or those with health or breathing issues. Once you reach the top, the cool breeze and panoramic view of the valleys are absolutely stunning.The caves themselves are truly fascinating. Inside, you can see ancient carvings on the rock walls — human figures, animals, and strange symbols that date back thousands of years. It’s amazing to think that these were made by people from the Stone Age! The atmosphere inside the cave feels calm and mysterious, almost like stepping back in time. Overall, it’s a perfect blend of history, adventure, and nature — a must-visit spot if you’re in Wayanad.

Place of historic importance - it is more of a rock chamber than a cave. A large rock wedged into the space between the surroundings rocks has formed a large room which probably was used as a living space by people 1000s of years ago. The walls have rock cut pictorial depiction of humans, animals and natural phenomena. There is also evidence of writing in Brahmi script

It's a strenuous climb upto the caves,even to the ticket counter. Be prepared with good shoes and not advisable for those already struggling with climbing stairs. There are only stone steps carved out of rocks and no hand rail on the way up. On the way down was easier with steel hand rails and straight steps.
