Awesome!
Вилли Б — Google review
The fee for Turkish people and foreigners may differ, the sign says $5 for each person but we paid 6 TL for 2. There are cute miniatures and waxwork of Yörük People inside, some nice spots with views of Kemer and the bays around, and an airy semi-touristic semi-Yörük cafe with a nice view.
Ali N — Google review
I have no idea why paid 80 TL for the tickets to this park. There are nothing to see, basically.
Andrew A — Google review
Not much of history, but a very nice walk and scenic view is guaranteed.
Anastasia K — Google review
Small historical park. Expensive. But the view is great from both sides; over the harbour of Kemer to Antalya on one side. On the other side the Moonlight Park & Bay, and the Olympos Coastal National Park. Very nice for a walk.

Feel the difference: Phaselis - real historical - 20 Tl, this place - fake historical - 60 Tl. This is decorated cafe with a paid entrance and coop.

Kemer Dolphin park

Mentioned on

Recreation center
Water & Amusement Parks
Water Parks
Kemer Dolphin Park is a popular attraction that offers an unforgettable experience with its amazing dolphin shows. The park is conveniently located, making it easily accessible for visitors. The mesmerizing performances by the dolphins make it a must-visit destination for animal lovers and families looking for entertainment.
When we entered the dolphin park, we first watched the seal show. It was very good that the seal kissed you and you had the opportunity to touch it. The synchronized show movements of the dolphins were successful. Especially the scene where he plays ball with the kids was entertaining. I recommend it at reasonable prices.
Muhittin G — Google review
The actual dolphin show was only about 10 minutes and that icludes the time when audience was invited near the pool to play ball with dolphin AND the photoshoot with dolphin. The sealion got much more time. He was good and fun to watch but I was there for dolphins. There was a pause in the middle of the show where you could buy pictures with dolphin. Luckily for us, only one quest was using the opportunity. The other photographing and offering to buy the photos was OK and done wirhout troubleing us too much. Overall it was not worth the price: 30 euros to see less than 10 minutes of dolphin tricks.
Alan V — Google review
The "1-hour dolphin show" is misleading - 30 minutes are just a seal act, and the actual dolphin part is mostly a pricey photo session. Very little real dolphin performance. Felt like a tourist trap. Disappointing.
Katarina K — Google review
Don’t go here, a tourist trap, and a waste of money. There’s one dolphin which does tricks for 5 minutes, the rest is selling photos and taking photos. Not worth it.
Dragan M — Google review
This cannot be called a dolphinarium, maybe a sealarium, we only saw one dolphin for less than 5 minutes, the rest is a show by a seal. I paid 32 euros per person, what a waste of money. In addition, the show is in Russian, everyone should consider learning this language.
Ibrahim F — Google review
Totally disappointed by the "show". Everything here is done exclusively for profit, NOT FOR ENTERTAINING!!! The show itself is quite simple, with a couple seals performing some basic tricks for most of the time and then a dolphin doing the same thing for a few minutes. Of course this is interrupted constantly by the staff trying to sell you something. Just a few quotes we got: - magnet photo: 10Euros - photo with the dolphin for the family: 50 Euros - swimming with the dolphin: 85 Euros/person The facility is in poor comdition and the staff (DJ or MC guy) was rude to people taking photo of the dolphin. Although there was a nice moment for kids to play with the seal, it was all rushed so none could actually enjoy the moment. We paid 75 Euros for 2 adults and a 3-year-old child.
Timi F — Google review
Worst performance I've ever seen, or rather not seen. From the beginning, someone kept coming in trying to sell you something. After the show started, the dolphins stopped cooperating and the show was stopped after 5 minutes. That can happen, but to not even talk to people and arrogantly send them away is horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Jezevec C — Google review

Dolusu Park Kemer is a top-rated water park located in ANTALYA, offering an exhilarating experience for families. The park boasts of exciting water slides and a wave pool suitable for all ages, as well as interactive dolphin programs that add to the adventure. Visitors can also enjoy mouth-watering meals at the eateries or relax on the beach after a long day of fun activities.
Great experience, especially for kids. Lots of attractions suitable for adults and kids. There's also foam party and a mermaid show going on. Just bear in mind- water is salty, so sun cream is a must to prevent the sunburn. And it's quite busy straight from the opening minute, so it could be a challenge to get a sunbeds. But definitely worth a visit.
Agnė Š — Google review
DoluSu is one of the coolest water parks I've ever visited. It boasts a large area, its own beach by the sea, a wave pool, and a wide variety of slides: from slides for the smallest kids to those where you find yourself thinking at some point, "God, why did I agree to this?" It’s full of excitement and adrenaline. As for the downsides, I must mention the lack of non-slip surfaces throughout the park. It’s extremely inconvenient because everything is wet, and there is a risk of slipping even if you walk slowly.
Andrey K — Google review
A standard waterpark Good environment and staff There is a show named mermaid show at 2pm, it was beautiful and catchy Good place to be with family and friends in Kemer Tip: be there in the morning or at least 12 to have a full experience
Arman F — Google review
Someone stole my shoes, so I bought another pair. Later, the staff checked the cameras, found the guy who took them, and returned my original shoes. They even gave us money back for the second pair we bought. Amazing staff – really recommend this place! The toboggans are wild and crazy too!
Vojtěch B — Google review
Very dirty and old slides. There was s very bad smell in the toilet ..nobody didnt said about it , they cleaned it after my complaint. The only good things was the mermaid show.
Svitlana L — Google review
The water park was fine, a bit dirty but the water slides were like cheese graters. Also the slip & fly water slide never opened, the water slide I wanted to go on the most. Overall the water park is okay.
The — Google review
A good day out, lots of stairs and a bit dirty but it’s outside so it’s expected. It is salt water but you kinda just get used to it after a while The ‘decoration’ was a bit confusing but maybe it makes sense to them! The slides themselves were fun, you can go on them a few times and still have fun - only issue is the ring/boats , they are almost never in the right place and such a pain to find and mostly deflated too but it’s generally easy to sort out We spent many hours there and there was lots to do The mermaid show was incredible I loved it! - I would go back just for the pizza, it was the best pizza I’ve had in my life and good price too.
Amelia S — Google review
Dirty water, dirty sidewalks, unsafe slides. Only safe activity was wave motion pool, which was open for 10/15 mins twice a day. Dirty sea water used both in pools and slides. Very cold water. Went together with my wife, and after this activity she she got serious stomach poisoning, vomiting 7 in a night. Bad environment, doesnt worth a shot!

April is the best season to visit this region. Tourist crowds haven't started yet. Mild weather. Beautiful scenery where mountains dive straight into the turquoise sea. No easy camping though. Famous Turkish mess is resembled by junk laying around.
Inan K — Google review
An amazing place to visit, the mountain range is fantastic. Well worth the visit. The cable car up the mountain is very cheap but I would suggest being early as it can be very busy. There is a small restaurant and bar at the top. You can also take a jeep safari into the mountains which is also amazing.

Perfect hiking place! We have spent couple of hours here hiking and we definitely loved it. I was with my family (kids from 10 to 23) and all of them were impressed. My wife took more than 200 pictures :) Descent shady not to get burned though descent sunny to feel comfortable. BRING WATER WITH YOU!!!!

Olympos Teleferik

Mountain cable car
Transportation
Tramways
Aerial tramway offering coastal views as it ascends Mount Tahtalı, known for hiking & paragliding.
great place, definitely worth visiting! after a 10 minute cable car ride with most incredible views you are on the top, enjoying the coolness and silence, surrounded by beautiful mountains, you can see the coastline and the sea. both stations (lower and upper) are equipped with toilets, on the upper one you can have a meal and drinks, also there is a kind of bungee swing.
Ana T — Google review
Great experience. Was £36 each 6/9/25. Cable carts hold roughly 30 people. You can spend along as you want at the top. Mosque was closed, expo space was closed. Parking free at bottom. Nice road to the cable cart. Had fun racing up and down. Be careful as no barriers and if you go off you're probably dead.
Al K — Google review
Taking the Olympos Teleferik sounded exciting, but unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side. When we reached the top, everything was covered in thick fog we could barely see anything! It was a bit disappointing, especially since the ticket is quite pricey. If you plan to visit, definitely check the weather forecast beforehand. On a clear day, the view must be absolutely stunning, but in foggy conditions, you miss out on what makes the trip special. Most of the other activities at the top were also closed because of the weather. All in all, it was still an experience, but I wouldn’t go again. Once is enough and next time, I’d make sure to visit on a sunny day!
Tulay O — Google review
Excellent cable car ride. We didn’t have long to explore at the top though before we had to go sadly as we were accosted by the photographers who said there was no obligation to buy. We said no thank you numerous times and then gave in because they wouldn’t leave us alone. After having photos done in an out of bounds section at the top, the photographer took us to show us the photos. Even just one photo was 17 Euros alone so we declined even though they were very good. Despite not being obligated to buy, the photographer was not happy with us and pulled his face at us which I felt was rude. The gift shop was a little expensive but very good. The coffee shop was good value but staff were a little ignorant, looking me up and down. I enjoyed the cable car ride down. Recommended just to see the views alone.
Louise F — Google review
Great place, beautiful views. Suitable for kids, gets crowded after a while but still very much worth it. Better to get the tickets online rather than local guides as it's cheaper.
Tomáš M — Google review
To get to the lift there is a 20 min car journey from the road. The cable car is large and takes about 30 people. The height covered is so big that my es ached from the pressire changes. The view st the top was amazing. Take a jacket as it is cold. The building is spacious and the food adequate.
A G — Google review
We went there with a rented car. Car broke down 800m from destination. Staff were very helpfull and found a man thats had jump leads to start the car and helped with this regard. Great views, and surprisingly cheaper prices on top of the mountain than at the bottom.
Kestutis P — Google review
Great view - really nice excursion. However, the price tag is a bit high. We paid a bit below 200 € for 3 adults and two kids. The view is fantastic. Combine it with Paragliding and it is really worth it 👍.

Mountains
Mount Tahtalı is a majestic peak standing at a height of 7,762 feet. It boasts of a recreational aerial tram that takes visitors to the summit offering breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and mountain range. Although considered pricey by some, it's worth every penny. Visitors should be prepared for colder temperatures as they ascend higher up the mountain. In winter months, crampons are necessary after reaching an elevation of 1800 meters.
Very nice experience taking the cable car all the way to the top of the mountain. Views were panoramic and gorgeous. Facilities on the top of the mountain are very clean.
A J — Google review
Incredible scenery, you can almost see forever. Weather is cool, calm and comfortable today. Worth the money!
David B — Google review
Gorgeous mountain with great infrastructure. Loved the experience - visited on the sunset tour and it was trully worth going there for the sunset. The colours are stunning. It is jot as crowded. There is a jumping rope there - quite fun thing to try. Wear something worm - it is a lot colder at this altitude, especially in the evening. On the top you have a coffee shop and restaurant. Nice place to warm up.

iIncredible and mind-blowing! The teleferik is awesome for going up and down. The view from the top is divine. Onex tur - you are on top!

Even on the hottest day, it's comfortable and cool here.Turkey's most beautiful beaches can be seen from this mountain. From a height of 2,375 meters, you will see beautiful cities, beaches and greenhouses in Turkey. Our children really enjoyed going uphill and flying from the mountain to the beach with paragliding. We're going to go back to fly.
Pavel B — Google review
Climbed Thatali from the village of Yahla Kuzdere. 6.5 hours of climbing/trekking up 1,684m vertical. A tough, demanding trek but very much worth the effort. Make sure you do it when it’s not clouded-in, which is quite common. You will need a GPS Maps app for the route up the East Lycian Way, as many of the route markings have been destroyed by land slips and cannot be followed in some parts.

Çıralı Beach

Beach

Çıralı Beach is a stunning and expansive rustic beach with a mix of sand and small pebbles. In the summer, it's home to sea turtle nests, adding to its natural charm. The beach stretches all along the cove to the Olympos antique site on its western edge. The sandy back transitions into pebbly and rocky shores, leading to crystal-clear waters thanks to the rocky sea bottom.
lovely beach! there aren't any public facilities or much shade but the water has a great temperature and there's a lot of space. there are sunbeds and umbrellas that probably belong to the restaurants and hotels right by the beach.
Olivia S — Google review
The beach and sea in Cirali are clean, but there is one thing....these are the people. Cigarette butts are everywhere, plastic is lying around in tons on the sand, bottles, cans and napkins....horrible...despite the fact that 90% of vacationers in Cirali are Turks. Incredible
SERGEY B — Google review
Aprox 3.3km of beach with beautiful mountains and clear water. The sand is hot so shoes all the time for protection. Water entrance pretty abrupt so it is recommended that kids know how to swim.
Toma S — Google review
It's an amazing and not crowded beach with picturesque surrounding mountains. Meet the sunrise over the Mediterranean sea. The beach is mostly with pebbles mixed with sand. Lots of shopping and dining options in the village. The beach and water are clean. The beach itself is a place where sea turtles Caretta Caretta lay their eggs. The places are marked with small metal pyramid cages. When baby turtles start to hatch they run to the sea. It happens at nights so for the period of hatching the attendance of the beach is closed at night.
Artemiy K — Google review
This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been. The breeding ground for caretta carettas. What a beautiful premise. However it comes with a quite amount of water pollution especially during the noon. Bubbly water due to whatever the boats are getting rid of. Bottle caps, baking paper, plastic bags, cookie wrap, plastic nets. You can find all that in the water. I don't want to know all the things we can not see. Everybody seems to ignore it. Children play in it. People swim by the bags. I guess humans don't deserve this beauty.
B C — Google review
You can put a tent on the beach if you don’t mind ships parked nearby. Note that you are not allowed to set up a tent in savanna area as it’s a National park. The savanna is amazing and so unique for this region of Turkey! Perfect for photoshoots and theme activities.
Natalie T — Google review
Great beach. Quiet and not crowded. Would recommend the northern or central parts rather than the more crowded southern edge near the Olympos ruins. To access these sections you can just keep walking up the beach or if you have a car there is a road that runs alongside the beach. One of the best beaches of the trip, not overhyped.

(Translated by Google) We went with a tour. There's a cafeteria in the area, but it was buzzing with heat, and they never heated it. Although it's centrally located, they supposedly turned it on at the lowest setting, but even the heating is useless. As the crowds get bigger, the place gets hotter, otherwise, it's freezing cold. Also, the restroom costs 20₺, and when we went, there was no electricity or running water. Imagine the service they charge for 20₺ and provide. Since we went with a tour, the only enjoyable part of the tour was enjoying the sausage, bread, and ayran tea. Otherwise, it gets extremely crowded in the afternoons, unnecessarily crowded, a place you'd visit once out of curiosity; you might not even want to go any further. (Original) Turla gittik. Ancient Ruins

The best of both worlds: on one side of the river you have ruins being slowly eaten by the forest -atmospheric and beautiful and magical -and on the other side you have a cleanly excavated town you can walk through as if you were a Roman yourself. Plus it's right on the beach if you want to go swimming too. Well worth the trip!
Anika W — Google review
Incredible sight to visit, the sheer size of it is jaw dropping, nevermind the age of the ruins themselves! It is one of those places that gives the longer you stay. It is also a strange feeling to be up close to such ancient history. The only negative is of course the people... Please ban portable speakers into the sight. We don't need theme songs.

The ruins of Olympos offer a mesmerizing journey into ancient history. Nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking the azure Mediterranean Sea, they provide a captivating blend of nature and archaeology. Visitors can explore the remains of the ancient city, including the Roman baths, theater, and necropolis, while also enjoying the scenic beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Shashank P — Google review
Beautiful and chill place to hang out and walk. You can climb to hills and admire amazing view. You can swim little in cold and fresh river water. You can sit on bench and wonder how this place was created and how people were living there. You can walk and see ancient mosaics, houses and tombs. You can also catch some shadow during hot summer days. Absolutely amazing place!

This ruins are mostly abandoned. There is a small area where it's comfortable to walk, but the rest is chaos. Also some area is closed due to danger of collapse. Mosaic is hidden and cannot be visited. In generall it's OK to visit this place, but don't expect too much to see. A lot of turtles in this area :)

Group of natural vents spouting perpetual flames above the ruins of the temple of Hephaistos.
Unique place, worth the short hike. You must be quite mobile to get up here. Great views and if you are lucky there may be cats up here. Lots of tourists but that doesnt really matter. You can also roast marshmallows which they sell at the bottom of the hike here. Would definitely recommend doing that with little kids! Lots of fun for the whole family.

Beautiful adventure!! Many natural vents with permanent flames above the ruins of the temple of Hephaistos You must take with you bottles of water and plenty of tissues because you will have so much sweating and become thirsty.. About 1000 meters climbing up with difficulty .. there are many rocks and tortious pathways ..

Make sure you’re QUITE fit and have no mobility issues. Intense 1km climb to the top on a rocky path with huge steps. Make sure it’s not going to rain; the rocks get pretty slippery. If you come close to dusk/night, bring big flashlights and hope you have good night vision. The fire coming out of the mountain is super cool though. Bring marshmallows! It’s about the size of a small campfire. The area at the bottom of the mountain is quite peaceful as well, which was surprising for a tourist attraction. Btw the road leading down to it is a quite windy downhill with many blind curves.

Amazing place to visit, especially at night time. There is a steep hike, so don't bother if you don't have the means. Have a hiking shoes on and water with you, and if you plan to visit at night, have head light or flashlight with you, and be very careful with every step, some parts of the trail can be a bit slippery.
Behdad B — Google review
Easy hike up. 60tl entrance per person, toilet 10tl. Would avoid going up in heat, still manageable.
Alen M — Google review
So someone tells me there’s a place in Turkey where fire literally comes out of the ground. Naturally, I assume it’s one of those tourism exaggerations. Like when a hotel calls their pool “an oasis” and it turns out to be a lukewarm puddle next to a parking lot. Or when you’re promised an “authentic village experience” and get a guy in a tunic selling Pringles. But then I get to Mount Chimaera. And, folks, there ARE flames. Real, actual, unexplained flames just casually shooting out of the rocky hillside like it’s no big deal. No wood. No gas line. No special effects budget. Just fire. Eternal, logic-defying fire. The ancient Greeks looked at this and went, “Yep, monster breath.” And honestly? That explanation makes more sense to me than natural gas seeping through rock fissures or whatever science is trying to say. I still don’t believe what I saw. I kept blinking. I stare at the ground in disbelief a lot but not like this.
Sara G — Google review
20-25 minute hike to see the eternal flame, pretty cool really! Bring some marshmallows to roast over the flames
Angus M — Google review
Beautiful area to visit , buy your marshmallows at the entrance to toast on the fires. The walk up is about 1km from the car park but some of the steps are quite steep and uneven , we did it in winter , I would imagine it’s much harder during the hot summer months.

The boat trip with Captan Ramazan was incredible! My boyfriend and I did this tour during August, starting at 10 am and finishing at 6pm, with a very competitive price (only 22€ per person). While all the boat trips leave to go to the same places, which makes them extremely crowded, the Captain chooses more quiet and less crowded places, which are equally beautiful and in this way more enjoyable. The food we ate aboard was delicious: lunch with fish, pasta and salad, afternoon snack with tea and fresh fruits eaten on the beautiful beach of Suluade island. I highly recommend!
Paola Z — Google review
Family owned- I would highly recommend ❤️Best home cooked turkish food (fresh fish) - fresh watermelon and oranges at the beach- great spots to watch and enjoy the islands and beach!
Neha M — Google review
Magnificent boat tour. Captain Ramazan is very friendly, helpful and experienced. He knows the beautiful spots and arrange the timing perfectly for the guests. Delicious food on board, great Turkish tea and fruits between swimming breaks. Suluada is so crowded with boats, captain Ramazan arranged the timing and our boat was the last one alone in this beautiful place,so we enjoyed there like our private beach at the end. If you plan a boat trip Ramazan Captain, Sudenur boat is the best. Don't mix the website with replicas the website I booked is https://www.adrasantekneturu.com.

I really enjoy the cruise with Ramazan captain and his partner. They were very welcoming, and took their time to visit the different places at perfect moment, when not too crowded. The food was really good too. Thank you !

We had a fantastic boat trip! Most of the time we were the only ones at the swimming spots, which made it really special. The meal on board was good, with pasta, vegetables, and fresh fish, the perfect touch after swimming. The captain was attentive and he showed great respect for the sea and nature. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Adrasan Coast

Outdoor Activities
During my trip to Adrasan Bay, one of the highlights was taking a small boat tour to explore the nearby islands scattered across the turquoise waters. Unlike the crowded resorts along the Turkish Riviera, Adrasan feels intimate and peaceful, and the boat trips here reflect that charm. We boarded a traditional wooden boat early in the morning, and within minutes, the view of the pine-covered hills surrounding the bay gave way to the open sea. The ride itself was smooth and relaxing, with the salty breeze and the sound of the waves setting the perfect tone for the day. Our captain stopped at several small islands and hidden coves, each more picturesque than the last. The water was so clear that we could see fish swimming beneath us, and at some stops we jumped straight into the sea for a refreshing swim. One of the most memorable moments was snorkeling near a rocky island, where we discovered colorful marine life in surprisingly pristine conditions. Lunch on the boat was another treat—freshly grilled fish, salads, and local bread, served while anchored in a quiet bay. It felt like dining in the middle of paradise. What makes this experience truly special is the tranquility. Unlike larger tourist hubs, Adrasan’s boat tours are small-scale and personal, giving you a sense of discovery rather than just sightseeing.

One of the best coves in Antalya! Excellent water quality! The beach is coarse sand and small pebbles so you don't need water shoes. The only downside is crowded car parks and loud drivers passing by the road... A must see place in Kemer area.

A lovely beach surrounded by beautiful green mountains but I guess it’s now well occupied by tourist fairies for excursions toward Suluada Island. I visited here in July and found it very crowded due to high season, it appears lot of tourists were visiting this area and there were coaches full of people keep coming.

Trail is easy to follow , difficulty is low but very long way , make sure to wear proper shoes and take water with you , the view is totally amazing.
Love L — Google review
A beautiful journey, but not the easiest without a car. First, you need to reach Kumluca, then take a minibus to Mavikent — it leaves every 30 minutes past the hour. From Kumluca to Karaöz, there are only two rides a day: at 12:30 and 18:30. The return from Karaöz to Kumluca is around 13:00 and 19:00. The ticket costs 75 TL. Taxis are almost impossible to find, but some bus drivers may help — for an extra fee. Once in Karaöz, you can try hitchhiking to Korsan Koyu (Pirate Bay), or just start your walk. From Pirate Bay, it’s a 1.5–2 hour hike to Gelidonya Lighthouse, with breathtaking views all the way. The last 2 km is the hardest — a steep, rocky uphill trail — but the view from the top is more than worth it. On the way down, don’t miss the fresh pomegranate-orange juice from the Fresh Juice of Ersoy abi. It’s the perfect reward for the journey. I left a piece of my heart here and I will be come back for sure ❤️❤️❤️
Aidai K — Google review
Nice hike from the walking trial starting new karats. From the end of the road where you can park your car it’s about an hour walk each way - 4km. A bit of uphill and down hill to start and the last 20 minutes is all up hill. Views are nice, keep walking uphill past the lighthouse for even better views. Only let down is the amount of cigarette butts there are everywhere even though it’s national park and you’re not meant to litter or have open flame 🙄
Angus M — Google review
The best views I’ve ever seen! The cliffs, horizons😍😍😍 unfortunately missed the route to Gelodonya Feneri. And didn’t get final destination, but the road and spots are worth it!

A very nice tracking to the lighthouse at the very south of Turkey. Approximately 3,5km walking and 250mt up on the hill. Noticement: it takes 105minutes up and 45 min down in october at 25C hot. 🤗
Gürcan K — Google review
Really cool place with a magnificent view. Gotta be ready physically for a hike, especially on a hot sunny day. But it's worth it. From the locked gates it is somewhat like 3 km walking (some bikers are riding around them). And if you're up to it, there is more trail available, as part of lykian way. There are a few tables with benches to grab some snacks and also a bench a bit higher up with the best view on the lighthouse and islands behind it.
Булат Х — Google review
The last 2km uphill are at times steep and rocks on the path get more dense so the last part is a bit more tricky. I was taking a child so it took us 2h to get to the top. From camping to the final point the views are stunning. There are snakes-(i have no idea for this area if they are poisonous) but BEWARE! On the top there are couple of gazebo-like platforms which are great to sit and have a break or snack. But a lot of people using it and leaving trash behind :( Great hike all in all.
Valerija B — Google review
it is not the first time that we climb up on the hill to take a breath of a fresh air and enjoy beautiful scenery if you are not fit it is not recommended to go up there especially the last 200,meters are the hardest and will take a toll also take plenty of food and drinks as there is nothing on the top ... have found a group of art masters that got up there to do some drawings of the lighthouse which was a great entertainment on its own

Very large city with a theatre that we thought was one of the nicest we have seen, because of its preservation and the carved feet at the bottom of the bleachers. I believe it is now closed because of fires, so said a sign. So try to find out before you go. There is also a small market just before the turnoff. They have roasted corn, vegetables, fruits and spring water for free.

What an amazing place. There's a lot more than what you can see from the car park and it was virtually deserted. We felt like archaeologists discovering a lost city.

Off all the ancien ruins sites we visited in the area this one was my favourite! Out of the beaten path, less touristy, beautiful views with the mountains and all, the ruins are also very well preserved. If you go with a car, be aware it just not an easy climb but it’s worth it.

My words are not enough to describe the antique city. So unique location. Great preservation. Ari-ka-wanda. The city by the high rock. Lives up to its beautiful name. Go see the huge rock face the proud city is located under. Truly amazing. Take your time. Embrace yourself for bunch of steep climbs for the city is founded on steep terrain under the said high rock! Well Worth it though. Go find the artchitecture marvels of the dug out water canals. Well preserved floor mosaics. Great views of the whole valley over which the city looks. Feel the breeze on your lucky face and imagine why the inhabitants of the gorgeous Ari-ka-wanda were lazy people for a lush lifestyle of its time. My humble pictures are far from telling the story of the once mighty Ari-ka-wanda!

Crazy huge 3,000-year-old ciiiiity 🛵💨🎉 Super cool ancient city carved into the side of a mountain with several large structures still fully intact amazingly enough 🤯 Apparently this used to be one of the largest ancient cities in all of Turkey back in its day but today there is a four-lane beautiful paved somewhat twisty highway just in front of this old girl 🛣️🛵💨🔥 Also just in front of this ancient city is a little truck stop where you can purchase all your favorite all natural items like honey, tahini, and even fresh fruit somehow all the way up here on this frigid cold desert mountain 🤯 Freshwater shooting out of multiple springs at this truck stop was definitely a welcomed surprise 🚰🚿💦🏄‍♂️⛰️

A little town up above the mountains with a very interesting museum. The artifacts are well documented and presented. It was a joy to visit.
Fehmi H — Google review
Great small town museum. The best part of this museum is how it shows the greater history of the area boyond what you'd see by just visiting the major sites. Most of what tourists can see in this region are the ruins of ancient Greco-Roman cities but there's a much older history here and this museum helps highlight it by displaying artefacts and with life size models of tombs and graves. Worth a quick visit for those wanting to dig deeper.

The Elmalı Museum  is a wonderful archaeological museum on the main thoroughfare right in the heart of Elmalı. The town of Elmalı itself occupies a special strategic and geographical location in Antalya province and consequently there have been amazing archaeological discoveries in the vicinity. The museum displays artifacts dating back as far as the Neolithic period and going forward through the Bronze Age up through the Roman and Byzantine eras. The displays are very nicely done, and have very informative descriptions in Turkish and in English. The museum is on two floors but is small enough that one can see the whole museum without getting exhausted. A very fine museum.

Myra ruins

Myra ruins, an ancient Lycian archaeological site near Kas, offers a captivating morning exploring historical remnants like rock tombs carved into cliffs, an ancient theater, and crumbling stone reliefs. The large theater and mountain-side tombs showcase the area's rich history and craftsmanship. Surrounded by vast greenhouses and open-air farms, the necropolis provides a unique setting for these impressive structures.

Ancient Ruins
Myra Ancient City is a captivating archaeological site that offers a journey through history and ancient architecture. Located in Demre, the excursion spans approximately 100 kilometers and includes iconic attractions such as St. Nicholas Church, ancient rock tombs, Liquia, the Roman amphitheater, and the submerged island of Kekova. Visitors can explore beautifully carved rocks and old Roman buildings while also enjoying exhibitions at the archaeological museum.
This place is simply breathtaking! The Lycian tombs of the ancient city of Myra were built before Christ. The rock-carved tombs were a symbol of power and prestige, representing closeness to the sky and the gods. They believed that if the tombs were located at high altitudes, their souls would be carried to the heavens more easily. The theater, on the other hand, could hold up to 10,000 spectators. It still feels magical and majestic. We were lucky to visit when there weren’t many tourists, and it was wonderful. We had a feline guide who accompanied us on every step! The entrance is included in the MüzeKart if you have it. Don’t hesitate to enter this place if you have the chance.

Myra (Greek: Μύρα) is an ancient Lycian city. In the 3rd century BC, the city came under Greek and later Roman influence. Currently, its location is occupied by the cities of Demres or Calais. The ruins of the Greco-Roman theater and rock-cut tombs have survived from the ancient city of Myra. Mentioned in the Bible (Acts 27:5)
Gintautas G — Google review
Its quiet something to see these ancient tombs carved inside big rocks. If you are driving to a location and can take this route, its worth a stop.
Protodzki — Google review
Archeological site. Not that much to see, not that well maintained, no explanations. Artefacts are publicly exposed and degraded by touching. Entrance fee €13 for non-Turkish citizens. Total rip-off
Rogier H — Google review
Really nice ancient ruin tombs with a good bit of history. It is just what you see in the pictures but only £11 per person so worth a visit if you're nearby.
Matt B — Google review
Great historic site A few tourist shops €13 to enter
Jenny S — Google review
Very nice place! Recommend it, though be aware that the site is not really too big, and the entrance fee is quite expensive. Is it worth it? Well, I did enjoy it, yet I kind of felt we would be able to walk around more places, but you can see everything in half an hour.
Roberto L — Google review
Very interesting place but I think €13 per person is a bit too much for a short walk around the amphitheater and towards the tombs. There’s also no information about the history of the monuments anywhere, so you don’t really know what you’re looking at if you haven’t done some research about it before. Unfortunately this is the standard for most historic sites in Turkey.

St. Nicholas Church in Demre is a grand Byzantine church that holds the tomb of St. Nicholas, believed to be the inspiration for Santa Claus. The church offers a historical journey with attractions like ancient rock tombs, Liquia, the Roman amphitheater, and the submerged island of Kekova. It also serves as a museum with sarcophagus of Nicholas and other saints' images.
It was amazing to go with a tour guide. Even without it, the church is incredibly fascinating to explore with many nooks and crannies. The floors are slippery, so, I recommend going with a non-slip shoe. If possible, have someone who knows about the church join to get detailed information. St. Nicholas Church in Demre, Turkey, was built around AD 520 over the tomb of Saint Nicholas, the 4th-century bishop of Myra whose generosity inspired the Santa Claus legend. This Byzantine basilica, decorated with mosaics and frescoes, housed his relics until many were taken to Bari, Italy, in 1087. Used as a church until 1923, it’s now a museum and on UNESCO’s tentative list.

The church itself is not necessarily the most impressive, but its history (with the Russian Tzar adding paintings, a dome, etc) and significance make it a must see, even if you are not a believer. The man that preached there is essentially the origin story of modern day Santa, and his coffins are there!

Kekova Island, located near Demre in Turkey, is renowned for its stunning beaches and the enigmatic sunken city. Accessible only by boat, the island offers calm and crystal-clear waters that allow visitors to observe the submerged walls and structures of the ancient city. Swimming is prohibited in this area, but boat tours provide an excellent opportunity to admire the ruins from a comfortable vantage point.
The underwater ruins of Dolchiste, an ancient Lycian settlement, which was partly overtaken by the sea due to an earthquake that occurred during the 2nd Only accessible by water swimming is forbidden around the sunken ruins
Graziela M — Google review
Kekova Island is one of those rare places where history and nature exist side by side, quietly and beautifully. As you glide across the turquoise waters by boat, the first thing that strikes you is the clarity of the sea — so transparent that you can almost touch the ancient ruins submerged just beneath the surface. It’s a surreal, almost dreamlike sight. The sunken city, with its stone walls, staircases, and ancient foundations, silently tells stories of life, trade, and time lost to earthquakes centuries ago. There’s no glass or barrier between you and this past — just water, light, and imagination. It’s both humbling and awe-inspiring. What makes Kekova special isn’t just the ruins, though. It’s the serenity. There are no crowds, no overbuilt developments — only untouched coves, the hum of the sea, and the occasional sound of a passing boat. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, swim in history, and simply be. For anyone exploring the southern coast of Turkey, Kekova isn’t just worth visiting — it’s a moment of stillness and wonder you’ll carry with you long after you’ve left.

I recommend a boat cruise with the option of swimming. Beautiful views, azure waters. The town is nothing but ruins—foundations and a few walls. Nearby is a quaint little port town with a castle. And 20 kilometers away, the picturesque port town of Ka$ is a must-see for food and shopping.

Don’t do a day tour here especially if you are staying at Antalya area. You are only given 20 mins time to swim.. but it takes about more than 4 hours to get here by tour bus. Beautiful place but the swimming experience was too poor due to the limited time given by my tour provider. If i gonna visit next time, I will just rent a car…

Excellent boat charters abound to the island of Kekova and surrounding sites. Not to be missed is the mysterious sunken city ruins. Only accessible by boat, the water is calm and beautifully clear so it is easy to see the sunken walls and structures that have long since been swallowed by the sea. Swimming is forbidden in the area, so you will have to be content to gaze upon the ruins from the comfort of your chosen boat or kayak. Definitely one of the top activities while visiting Kaş.

Located in the heart of Kas, the Lion Tomb, also known as Aslanli Lahit, is a historical site dating back to the 4th century BC. This ancient tomb, carved from a single massive stone, stands as a symbol of the city and Lycian heritage. Adorned with intricate lion head carvings, it offers visitors a glimpse into the architectural prowess of ancient times.
Easy access to 3 mountain tombs from town. Took me 10 min to get there from center of town. Climb up many stairs. First tomb is easiest to get to. Next two were steep but short climbs. Good view from city as well.

(Translated by Google) Although the belief that people continue to live after death and therefore build a residence appropriate to their life after death exists in many cultures, nowhere is it as widespread as in Anatolia. The custom of burying the deceased in a house-like tomb continued unabated in Anatolia from the second half of the 3rd millennium BC until the end of the Roman Imperial period, resulting in the creation of numerous architecturally distinctive tomb structures. One of the diverse tomb types seen in Anatolia is the sarcophagus. Among the Lycian artifacts that have survived to the present day are the rock-cut tombs in some Lycian cities and the sarcophagi scattered throughout the area. The most magnificent of these sarcophagi is the Lycian-inscribed Monumental Tomb, popularly known as the King's Tomb, located on Uzunçarşı Street in Kaş (Andifli). This sarcophagus, well-preserved and constructed from a single block dating from the 4th century BC, features bead motifs and an eight-line Lycian inscription on its 1.5-meter-long lower section. Dating back to the 4th century BC, the tomb's inscription is illegible, making it unclear to whom it belonged. The sarcophagus of a rectangular prism-shaped monument sits on this plinth. On the northwest pediment of the lid are carved a sad-looking man and a woman, leaning on a stick and crossing their right leg over their left. On the southeast pediment, a standing woman wearing a long cloak is seen. Reliefs of lions are also carved on both sides of the sarcophagus lid. The western side of the lid is shaped like a window. LYCIANS According to legends, the Lycians: The Lycians originated from Crete. Crete was formerly inhabited by barbarians. Europa's sons, Sarpedon (the heroic King of Lycia) and Minos, fought for the Kingdom of Crete. When Minos won the war, he and his followers expelled Sarpedon from Crete. They came to Asia, to Milyas. The land where the Lycians live today is called Milyas. The Milyas were called Solyms. When the Lycians arrived in Milyas, they bore the name Termil. Today, their neighbors call them Termil (Termilai). Furthermore, the Hittites referred to Lycia as the "Land of Light." Lykos (Lycos, Greek for Wolf), son of the Athenian Pandian, was also exiled by his brother Aigeus, and he came to Lycia to join Sarpedon. It was from this Lykos (Lycos) that the Termils came to be called Lycians. It is mentioned as follows. Milyaslılar'a Solymler denirdi. Likyalılar Milyas'a geldiklerinde Termil adını taşıyorlardı.

The Hellenistic Theatre in Kas is a well-preserved horseshoe-shaped amphitheatre with typical ancient Greek features. Dating back to the 1st century BC and later restored, it boasts a round orchestra that once accommodated choirs and around 4,000 spectators. The top tier offers breathtaking views, making it a popular spot for locals to quietly watch the sunset or sunrise. Adjacent to quality restaurants, including a vegan option, visitors can enjoy the stunning scenery before dining out.
It was super. Went there to watch sunset and got a bonus music performance from a young lady singing and playing guitar. One of my highlights of my stay in Kas.

Hidayet Bay Beach in Kas is a small, rocky Mediterranean beach known for its clear water and rich marine life. It's a popular spot for underwater enthusiasts due to the unique sea and diverse marine species. The friendly staff provide sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee, while food and beverage prices are comparable to other beaches. Despite being halfway through the peninsula, visitors can easily access the beach via a minibus service.
I liked this beach quite a lot. The water was incredible, almost transparent. You can see everything below until 6-7 meters. The beach entrance is free but umbrella costs 100 tl and the sun bed costs 600 tl. We get into water swam come back to restaurant area and drink beer and ate a pizza. So we didn’t have to pay for the sunbed or the umbrella. The food is good. There is a huge parking problem though. I would recommend coming in early hours.
Derin B — Google review
One of the best spots to swim and have a day-fun with friends. The crowd is mostly young adults and boozy. Musics are just fine, it’s not as loud and intrusive as locals believe it is. The staff… Incredibly polite, helpful and friendly. I saw some comments about staff being rude, a flat out lie. Politest staff we have seen in Kas. We liked the food, Hidayet Burger is tasty. The location isn’t great. The beach is halfway through “the peninsula” and there is a minibus for every hours. Hours are a bit chaotic and the steep ramp to the high road doesn’t help. I wish they would cease to use plastic straws. It’s sad to see so many people sip their drinks just by the water from huge plastic straws.
Burak Y — Google review
Personally I believe this was the one of the best beaches in Kas. Their skyrocket price points did not match with the offerings. Its very well maintained place, however, bed (sezlong) price was insane. Drinks including coffee were “meh”. Servers were friendly and working really hard. I have seen similar comments about the pricing, seems like everybody is on board with the same thing. Still recommend this place though!

The best beach club in Kaș 😍 Comfy sunbeds, nice chill music that doesn’t bother, crystal clear water without waves. Good infrastructure, cabins, showers, many parking spots. However if you arrive in the afternoon, it will be hard to find a parking spot, so you might pay 100TL for their parking. Highly recommend!
Yanina M — Google review
We had a lovely time here. The water is amazing! 2 sunbeds + umbrella were 400 tll. We had smoothies (blackberry one was great), iced latte (proper and very well done). We spent the day relaxing here. Showers available. You can come down and swim without paying but we recommend the facilities. Can get quite busy in the afternoon. Overall great experience!
Anna L — Google review
I love this place. The water is pristine. It is like an aquarium. Rocky base, so make sure you wear sandals until you get to the water and consider wearing water shoes. You pay 15TL per bed and 5TL for the umbrella. It is cheap and absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend it to all who come to visit Kaş. Come early as people love this place and it gets packed by 10:30am.
Nilufer U — Google review
Sea is awesome. Beach is awesome. You at least get service comparing to other famous beaches in Kaş. Its also very good for kids. Shore is shallow and rocky. I think it was the best beach we’ve been so far in Kaş. If you are lucky enough, you get to see caretta caretta’s at the evening. Definetly recommended

We arrived late afternoon after a visit to Saklikent Gorge, so there were few people there; the 'waterfall' is quite small and part of a cafe/trout farm. It's a pretty setting with lots of cool shade, several big ponds with fish of various sizes, snacks, beer, wine and other soft/alcoholic drinks. Very friendly service. The ponds do attract biting insects, so bring spray if you tend to get bitten. A nice place to stop for a rest and refreshment in the heat of the day.

What a charming location to escape the heat. The pools of water are helpful to cool off and the fish ponds are quite interesting to watch while eating or relaxing. I wasn't the biggest fan of the food included in our excursion ticket price, but I am a self confessed picky eater, so your experience may be better if you are less fussy than me.
