The place is beautiful. It’s definetelly one greener part of the Cordilleras in Mendoza.
On the way there you cross some “villas” one part of the great Mendoza where you see more poverty and trash. It was a surprise to get there and see the mountains so narrowed and green, the first part of the way they look little away.
You may prepare yourself and bring your snacks, the “restaurant” there is very basic, you may also want to arrive early to participate in the activities. You pay a ticket to have access to the hotel which is like 3 usd, but the activities prices varys up to 20usd .
I think the ticket prices are very high, there is a beautiful view of the mountains, but there is nothing surprising or unusual here. Further on the free road you can see more beautiful and better landscapes
Nice place to visit, I think its a good option for families with children and for retired who enjoy a relaxing walk and a short guided tour around the hotel which is closed and abandoned. In my opinion the 350 pesos fee is quite expensive for what you receive.
We enjoyed to visit the Reserve! Tickets are good but it could be better if you receive a water bottle with them. A beautiful place, definitely you have to listen the talk with the guide, I learnt a lot about Villavicencio.

A very good alternative to vineyard tours in Mendoza is to hire a car and come to this natural reserve. Guanaco is an easy sighting here since they are protected, along with condors and other animals. The view is sublime.

Visited Parque de Agua in November. Booked via the official website. Entry for 2 people including a transfer from the centre of Mendoza. Here is my honest opinion.
Transfer: Very easy, took a little over an hour to arrive at the park. Guides spoke Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Location: The park is in a beautiful setting at the foot of the mountains.
Venue: It was very busy; a lot of people in every pool. Lots of children. Not dirty but certainly not clean. We didn’t eat there because it was too busy. Lockers and robes are available but TAKE CASH. We managed to pay on card but we had to negotiate with one of the staff there to be able to pay for a locker on card. No sun loungers so don’t expect to be able to chill by the pool.
Experience : It was ok. Go for 2 or 3 hours max. We left around lunchtime. It wasn’t the relaxing experience we hoped for. Worth a visit as it is a relatively cheap day but it was too busy for us. Wouldn’t go back.
We were here in August, it was pretty cold outside. The temperature of the baths inside was okay, but outside was pretty cold. Plus, there were too many people. There is no place to lock your stuff, so you always have to keep a look at your bags to make sure it's not stolen. They need to install lockers at the very least.
It certainly is true that the place is stunning, however we did not have a nice experience. The thermal pools were completely cluttered: there wasn’t a pool in which I could bath and not be touching someone. Apart from that, the whole place was overcrowded. The bathrooms, extra pools, etc. I think that the even worst part of this experience was that the thermal pools were not even hot. They were simply like any other normal pool.
The rooms were booked way in advance which meant either going to the water park or not going at all.
Be warned that people get there before the opening time and start getting in line. By 10am the place is quite full. You may rent a bathrobe in case you don't have a towel. The interesting part was purchasing meat cuts and barbecuing it outdoors.
Fantastic place with natural hot springs, in the mountains. Many pools of different temperatures, with some for adults only. Water slides and water park features available in the summer months (October to April). Barbecue facilities on site (of course, this is Argentina!), covered picnic area. Really great place to spend the day with the family.
Might be my bad luck , review is based on personal experience on the day.. whilst the setting is lovely, visit wasn't one to remember. There were so many groups of children with no control in how many people are allowed at the time it was impossible to enjoy. Every pool was full of kids, even what supposed to be an adult pool with staff nowhere to be seen to enforce this.
I'd recommend management to think of some more staff at busy times to give a bit more comfort and safety to the visitors.
Kids loved it. Great and beautiful location. We took Uber from Central Mendoza for $20 & the bus back at closing. You can bring all your own food & drinks and cook on outdoor grills. Great big lockers for backpacks. Highly recommend.

This is a ghost place, there use to be a Ski resort nearby but it is closed (permanently)
So this place is the corpse of something that used to be a chill place some time ago.

Nothing fancy, but we didn't expect to much from place for 1 night before we started our Aconcagua trip. Food in restaurant really simple a little bit overpriced but you don't have to big choice in Penitentes.
Good Sky center. Medium to small sized. Can travel from Mendoza city and back in the same day

One of the best experiences I had in Argentina. I rented a car in Mendoza and I drove to the National Park. There you can park and walk towards the Cerro Aconcagua. There are plenty of routes for different hiking expertise but check because sometimes the are closed depending on the season. I get to the puente colgante and the views were stunning 😍
Absolutely beautiful scenery. A bit difficult to negotiate the paths as people have strayed from the set routes a lot. Would have loved more time here, it's a fantastic park.
5 stars for the park - 1 star for the reservation / payment / access process
The access procedure is soooo complicated but absolutely worth it!. Please make sure to preregister your visit on the Parque Aconcagua site. When you get to the main entrance you will need this in order to pay your entrance to the park. Once the payment is completed then you have to go to the office next door to show proof of payment where you will receive the ticket to access the park. Honestly, too many steps that could be combined in just one.
If you are driving, you will be able to access the park for around 1 km, then you will have a 15 minute walk to the first lookout at about 3,000 meters. From here you have an amazing view of the Aconcagua. For those fit individuals, you can keep walking for another 45 minutes to another lookout / bridge.
Great park, quick walks with great views of the Aconcagua. Friendly park staff, free bathrooms and it was also free to go up the road (Nov 2025)
Otherworldly landscape. Air is slightly thinner as hikes start nay 3000m. Be sure to bring cash to pay entry, it's possible to pay with card but they charge 20% more.
Amazing landscape, you have to make a reservation in advance and check in when you arrive in the park but they provide you with a bag for garbage and some other useful information.
Just be careful with the mean of transport if you're using the bus because they don't drop you off very close to the park entrance and you have to walk a few kilometers by the highway
Amazing park just on the east side of Andes mountains. The welcome center had very good and helpful information. The views are spectacular and breath taking. The hiking trails run for many kilometers and every step of the way was wonderful. Highly recommended you take extra water and a wind breaker because the winds sometimes can pick up. Fully enjoyed hiking here in view of the tallest mountain in South America.

One of the most picturesque locations in the valley- we loved the architecture and ambiance of this winery.
The tour was robotic and we are not sure if that had to do with the language barrier or not. We were inside most of the time and missing the stunning natural scenery! The wine cellar is very neat, however, didn’t need to spend much time there.
Wines were our least favorite of what we tried- quite a diverse selection, however, mostly dry and mineral flavors. Not our preference.

The location and ambiance for the sunset tasting were beautiful. However, the tasting menu and service left much to be desired. The sunset tasting comes with a bottle of wine but we received little explanation of the food or wine itself. For the price of the 3 hour tasting, we expected more engaged service to pair with the meal. Neighboring vineyards charge the same for substantially more of a meal and experience.
We stopped here for a wine tasting with the Wine Bus Vitivinícola. At $42 per person, it’s on the pricey side. While the wines were good, we were surprised to discover that the tasting of four wines featured selections from their lower range, priced at around $10–$20 per bottle. It was not worth it—the wines were nice, but they definitely didn’t justify the crazy price. That said, the building and the surroundings are simply stunning and out guide was lovely.
We stopped here for a wine tasting. For 40$ p.P. it's quite pricey, but it was totally worth it! We had around 5-6 different wines and all of them were really good. What kinda stuck me, you even can taste the premium line of wine, which we often could not do at other vineyards. Combined with some bread and great olive oil, this was a really good experience and Tour! The Building and the surroundings are stunning and you don't need to stay there overnight to have a good view over the vineyard and the Andes.
100% recommended! Would love to come back again, maybe next time staying overnight for a stunning sunset.
We stopped in at Andeluna to buy some wine during our viait in Mendoza. It's a beauiful winery in a magical surrounding. Leticia was our hostess and she did an amazing job descibing the various wine offerings and telling us abut the vineyard. The wines we tasted and purchased were excellent! Thank you Leticia.
Paula led a wonderful tasting tour! She spoke excellent English and thoroughly explained the intricacies of the Andeluna wines. It is obvious she is passionate about Andeluna!
This is our favorite stop in Uco valley. Great staff (shout out to Kevin and Jesse), and relaxing area to enjoy wine and views. Their limited edition Torrontes is excellent on a hot summer day. We visit with our kids and they enjoy exploring the yard and vines. We’ll be back!

I wish I could give Bodega La Azul 6 stars. The service was exceptional from the beginning of the experience. The quality, freshness, and presentation of seasonal meal was a beautiful nod to the culture of the region. Mariano and each member of the team were passionate about the wine and food which made the experience even more enjoyable. Even the staff baking bread were welcoming and explained their craft. Stellar experience not to be missed in Tupungato.
Sunday lunch must be one of the most fun times to go. They had a saxophonist playing to recorded music. He played slower great jazz songs and then as folks I guess were further along in their meal, he picked up the tempo and soon had lots of folks dancing!!
My wife had the 3-course with wine and I had the 5-course. We enjoyed all of the courses. I had 5 different higher-end wines (than the 3 my wife had) and they left them on the table the entire meal. So she actually got to taste them. Note…don’t be in a rush. After 2.5 hours, we did have to ask for the check when we got dessert, as we had one more winery…but we could have easily stayed to enjoy the dancing more.
The food was really good, especially the corn soup, empanadas, pulled pork and all 3 desserts!
The wines on the 3-course were ok…but very good with the 5-course.
It was packed so I’d recommend to make reservations!
La Azul is the ideal place to go with friends and have a great time. Wine is excellent, food is great and big portions. We have the 5 course meal and it did not disappoint. Mariano is the best waiter ever. I have visited this place several times and the only ingredient missing this last time was as the music player. He was not there and we really missed him. I’m planning on coming back with more friends as soon as possible.
Amazing! We had the best time here, the food was incredible at a great price. And can we talk about the wine tasting! They leave the bottle on the table and you can have as much as you want. Our semollier spoke excellent English too and he made the vibes great. The views of the Andes were a great place to have lunch. This place is on my list if we go again, might go for the smaller wine pairing as the larger one was was too much haha! Cannot recommend this place highly enough if you go to Valle de uco. We went to another winery after this, but that was a mistake, should have stayed here for the rest of the afternoon. Next time, try a winery in the morning, then come here for lunch and stay the rest of the afternoon. The lemon dessert option was memorable as well, and that's saying something!

La Azul is a great place. The 5 course tasting menu was amazing and definitely worth it. The staff was kind and the energy of La Azul was uplifting.
With the 5 course tasting, the main course could be drastically reduced. So much of it went to waste and we all agreed the entree could have been cut in half and still been plenty of food.
The wine tasting was casual, it felt a bit more or just table wine with lunch but still very enjoyable

The wines here are delicious especially the white blend. I'm normally not a fan of white wines, but this one was exceptional. I also got to taste a couple of the reds which were very good. Nice small vineyard on your way up to the Andes. Something a little different from the Maipo valley.

Very nice winery with great mountain views. The well crafted wines were delicious and we learned a lot about Chilean wines. The prices are very reasonable and the ladies were very helpful in the shop.
We spent a lovely morning at this winery. Our Sommelier, Israel was so knowledgeable and so lovely to chat with. He has such passion for the wines made here and they are absolutely delicious. Would totally recommend a tour of this winery. Yummy cheese and nuts too!

We arrived there just on time for lunch.
We were on one of the first tables to be seated. After choosing our menu and getting our first plate we realized that all the other tables had gotten some bread with some type of sauce. They forgot about us and totally pretended not to see that (even when they came to take the plates). The food is really good! But nothing special at all. I’d expect something more elaborated for this price (10,500.00 per person). The second thing that got me intrigued is that there was a street dog roaming around the restaurant and the waiters pretended that it was something normal. The dog was full of fleas and totally not taken care of. None of the waiters took the dog away (you would expect a high level restaurant not to have street animals roaming between the tables). At some point the dog even jumped on my GF and got her blouse mud dirty. The third and last thing was that there was SO MUCH trash on the grass. Pieced of paper, plastic, cigarettes. It seems like no one has ever cleaned that up. In the end, I’d recommend you to take the tour but eat somewhere else (maybe even better for that price tag). I didn’t enjoy it at all.

My wife and I had a fabulous time on a private tour at Bodega Salentein. Our tour guide, Marcelo, made the experience memorable with his passionate and knowledgeable presentation, and we felt so very welcomed. The six wines we tried were all excellent and each at the top of its class. Our favorite was the Numina Gran Corte, which is a blend of malbec, cabernet, merlot, cab franc, and petit verdot. The Primus malbec 2015 was excellent as well. The tour normally takes 1.5 hours but we got along so well with Marcelo, it was well over 2 hours and we were still in tasting room when Marcelo finally was asked to move on. Just to demonstrate the tremendous hospitality this Bodega shows its visitors. Would love to re-visit next time we're in Mendoza.

Absolutely beautiful but the road feels like a death trap
I came here on a day trip from Santiago as I wanted to cross the Andes off my list, but this is one of the few places I felt was a waste of time and money. It looks beautiful in winter, but in the summer it's just barren rock. But even so, it's just a reservoir surrounded by low barren mountains, nothing special. I can drive a couple hours from my house and see much nicer alpine lakes.
If you've never been to the mountains before, sure you come here. Othwerwise, it's not worth it at all.
Not to mention when we were there, there were tour vans illegally driving on the path and some local kid threw a rock at a fox. Actually, the fox sighting was the only thing that made it worth it.
Is a very scenic place with turquoise water and mountain views. The road is narrow and partly unpaved, so drive carefully. Nearby there is a small, mediocre café where you can buy water, empanadas, and instant coffee, but it’s better to bring everything with you. A quiet spot for photos and short walks.

Wonderful place! It's different in summer and winter and on both seasons the view is amazing. It's really close to Santiago and on summer you can go just by yourself. Rent a car and take your time there, guided tours will be expensive and you'll leave the place still wanting to stay a little longer. On winter though maybe a guided tour would be safer but on summer, go by yourself on a rented car!
Visited this wonderful location twice whilst on a trips to Santiago. We went both times with a great company called Ski total and arrived at the location after approx 2hr drive out of the city.
The scenery is truly breathtaking and stunning with plenty of wonderful photo opportunities. There is a mobile refreshment van a short walk away if your feeling a bit peckish and a picnic area with toilets a short 10 min drive away.
It really is a must visit location if visiting Santiago.
We went there on a summer weekday, it was amazing beautiful place to visit. There were some people but not enough to enjoy quietly. Amazing but the narrow road is scary.

Fantastic! Built in 2015, and currently the tallest building in South America, I would say it’s well-worth it for the views!
It’s 20,000 CLP for adults, and it’s one of the highlights of Santiago. A great place to admire the view, and capture some great photos! There’s also a nice bar/restaurant that can be good (otherwise, there are more food options in the main mall). There are bathrooms and a gift store, too.

They have a second floor where you feel the air from outside cause it's open roof but the windows are all like 40 feet tall, so you technically do feel like you're still indoors.

What a view and this part of town is a contrast to the older quarter of Santiago. The place is well run, no issues getting in and out. Everything was explained to us by an English speaking guide. Well organized. Loved the view from the top.

Hi my nae is Daniela. This mall is huge. A lot of brands, you can find a bit of everything. Prices are like in EU, not really local things but the surrounding zone to the mall looks very interesting
This mall offers a large selection of brand names like Nike, North Face, Columbia, Gap etc. The pricing is higher than in US for certain brands and therefore I didn't buy anything. However, I liked visiting the Decathlon store, which is a discount sporting goods retailer and without any stores in the US. Overall I enjoyed the clean and relaxed atmosphere with enough benches and restrooms on each level. They have also USB ports and free WiFi for their customers. The Jumbo supermarket is a plus with a large variety of foods and reasonably priced.
Wonderful shopping area but many items are expensive even by U.S. dollar standards in June of 2025. Come ready to spend!

This was a great experience to have while visiting Santiago. When we were there, it was $20 an adult, and we went during sunset on a Friday, and it was pretty busy. There was live music though, and space to see through all the windows. The cafe filled up before we got there. The topmost deck is open to the air, so dress appropriately, but the lower floor is air-conditioned. You exit through the 5th food court, which was immense!!!

The 22-meter statue on San Cristóbal Hill, dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, was designed by Italian sculptors Luigi Poletti and Giuseppe Obici, and was constructed by the French foundry Val D'Osne.
Although it's cloudy day, tourists still crowded. The cable car took us to a platform where there are lots of souvenir stores , food stalls, then taking about 100 steps to the top. I wish I had enough time to climb up all the way to the top myself. The overview was excellent even in a cloudy day.
Takes around 40 minutes to walk up the hill, no entrance fee. Very beautiful view of Santiago, especially during sunset. It is possible to take the cable car too, if you don't want to walk up or down.

La Chascona was Pablo Neruda’s house in Santiago. Is located in Bellavista, few steps from the funicular. The entrance fee is CLP 9,500 (about $10 USD), credit cards accepted. The audio guide is essential to fully appreciate the house, at the end of the tour you need to return it. The firsr thing to do is view the short documentary in the video room. Inside the house, you’ll find an eclectic mix of art, maritime decor, and personal items. For people with mobility issues, Keep in mind, the house has stairs.

Great museum to visit while in Santiago, very near to the funicular so it's a good activity to pair with that. I don't usually use the museum audio guides anywhere I go but this was really informative and helpful so I recommend it.

The house was quaint and peculiar. There was a small room with a 10 or so minute video that described some of Neruda's back story.
The house was broken up into three different structures connected through outdoor stairs, gardens, and other various foliage. It was interesting to see actual poems and writings of Neruda's with edits, etc. The houses were apportioned very nicely with artwork, etc. It also included a beautiful painting by Diego Rivera. The store at the end also had some beautiful artwork. Overall, it was a nice way to spend 30 to 60 minutes.
A very nice house museum. If you are into peeking into amazing peoples houses or Neruda in general this is a must. An audio tour device is available and is included in the price. The house is densely packed with parts of Neruda’s past and life. Like most places it is closed on Mondays.

There’s parking available right in front of Patio Bellavista, which is convenient, but it’s a bit pricey. For less than 40 minutes, we ended up paying 2000 CLP. But the cost for a whole day is 6500 CLP, what’s actually not bad.
Restroom facilities: The toilets are not the cleanest, and they charge 500 CLP per visit. Could definitely be improved, especially considering the fee.

However, if you are looking for a place to take a rest from the buzz of the picturesque Barrio Lastarria, look no further. The food and coffee are both excellent. As is almost the order of the day in the whole of Santiago de Chile and its surroundings “GRAFFITI” in the form of drawings or writing’s on the walls and in passages-ways its everywhere even here in this barrio, coupled with street-artist expressing themselves and trying to sell you their own master-pieces, street-vendors selling their different kinds of wares be it cheap souvenirs, beauty products, woolen-scarfs, etc, etc. Beautiful church buildings with its own wall-murals very colourful and pret-tii. Then there are the many modern art galleries in the area where you can just waltz in and browse around and enjoy whether you are an art expert or just a novice. Also to be found around the streets are musician’s playing real instruments and even playing and making good musical sounds on home-made instruments. We even come upon some female belly dancers. The barrio comes high-lii recommended to be visited especial-lii when you are hungry as there are so many different bars, cafes and restaurants to grab a bite from and the best ice cream-parlour is also in the area……………

The food and coffee are very good, but because of the lacking service I have to give it 2 stars.
While I was working in the coffeeshop the waiter came to me and told me that I have to sit outside as I had been working inside for more than 2 hours. I understand that they don't want people to stay inside too long, but when I asked him if I could sit inside longer if I bought more food and a coffee he refused and still told me to sit outside.
This was very strange to me as there were still some unoccupied tables inside.
So, don't come here if you want to work for a long time. They will tell you to leave even when you're a good paying customer.
Ordered brunch, the egg on the avocado toast was not cooked and half of the whites were runny and inedible. The avocado also tasted bitter and the bread stale. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience especially given how expensive it was. Avoid.
Good place, a bit too cold. The sandwich bread wasn't too fresh. The filtered coffee, on the other hand, was amazing. Service was ok.

Great food and very friendly staff. The little plaza it is in is has a nice atmosphere, too. I could sit there for hours with some hot chocolate and a book.
It's become quite the fashionable place to be. It can even be hard to walk when there's a show on. Be careful with your belongings, there are lots of pickpockets. The booksellers have always got some Spanish philosophy books. Near Plaza Italia-Dignidad, so watch out for protests, especially Friday afternoons.

Best place to start your sightseeing trip in Santiago! Beautiful views from the top of the mountains. There are a lot of stairs and walking uphill, so wear comfortable shoes. It was free to get in. Just show your passport number. The hill is very well maintained with flowers and plants, even in the winter. Great place to spend some time exploring the whole family. Very safe for tourists and spectacular views!

Nice roadside attraction on the way from Santiago to Cajón del Maipo. The estructure itself is interesting, about 500ft long (from one end the other end can almost be seen) and can be traversed either on foot or with a small vehicle (ie, no larger than a medium-sized pickup). If traversing on vehicle, send someone on foot first to the other end so they warn off any vehicle trying to traverse in the reverse direction (otherwise you or it will need to go through a rather difficult and tight rear driving session).
When going back from Embalse el Yeso the tour guide offered to stop at the Tinoco tunnel a place where a guy killed himself because of a broken heart. The tunnel became a place of pilgrimage for locals. The "tour" is going through the dark tunnel. I personally was concerned about robbery but everything went well.
It is a must when you go to cajon del maipo

What a magical winery! You are literally right in the middle of the city and all of a sudden there's the winery grounds. It's beautiful. The tour is fun and informative plus you get a nice tasting of their wines. They recently opened up a new bar area or champagne tasting room as well. The birds and wildlife on the grounds are fabulous, many even have their own names. If you're in Santiago, definitely make the hour or so trip to visit. It's worth it.
We attended the opening night event at this vineyard and were given a tour of the cellars. Stunning venue. Beautiful setting. Has an impressive bar lined with wine bottles. On the tour of the cellars they have a room where you can smell all the aromas in wine seperately. The cellar tour is very high tech but probably appeals more to the younger crowd. This cellar is famous for their Casillero del Diablo wine. We had a wonderful evening!
It's very nice to see how a mass producer of wine does it. Although there is very little production on site, the tour itself was nice. It's a short getaway from the city. The guide was knowledgeable (WSET Level 2) and pleasant. Overall, I liked it. Wouldn't come back for the tour, but if you want to see a vineyard around Santiago, this is a nice one to do. In the wine tasting, you get to try 4 wines and they are certainly above average to good!
Our visit to Viña Concha y Toro was an unforgettable experience—the vineyard itself is breathtaking, the tour was informative, and the wine tastings were absolutely top-tier. That said, our day started on the wrong foot thanks to the trio of ticketing ladies at the entrance, who seemed personally offended by our presence. They were painfully slow, clearly confused by their own computer system, and lacked even a shred of enthusiasm or basic courtesy. It was as if customer service had been stomped out like a bad grape. Thankfully, the rest of the staff and the vineyard’s charm more than made up for that awkward, quite irritating interaction. 4/5 stars due to tour guide Felipe absolutely crushing the tour. He is an asset to that business.
This was an amazing experience! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Manuela our tour guide was able to communicate simultaneously in English and Portuguese with a great energy. Romina the sommelier gave us the Marques tasting, it was fantastic! She explained everything that even a novice like me could follow along with!
Overall experience is pretty bad.
We took Cellar Collection tour (120k CLP ~120 USD). The wines were good, some were outstanding (5 in cellar collection degustation, 4 in regular one). Guide and sommelier were friendly and professional.
BUT: the dinner in Bodega 1883, that we bought online (50k CLP ~ 50 USD online), was awful. All 3 courses were bad, 1 glass of wine was terrible (it seems it was most basic one. In the winery for 50 bucks!).
The cherry on top: elixir cassilero del diablo (Porto wine type) online is 30k CLP per glass and on-site is 20k CLP. Anyways the elixir is pretty weak Porto and not worth 120 USD per bottle.
This is the best visitor experience at a vineyard I’ve been to anywhere in the world. They have invested heavily in an excellent audio visual experience that takes you through the winemaking process. It really is first class.
And it’s with paying for the higher end food and tasting options- again, exceptional quality.
There’s some stuffiness about Concho y Toro for being ‘commercial’ but this experience reinforces their credentials as serious quality producers

Valentina is a wonderful tour guide!! She answered all my questions and led a fantastic wine tasting in the cellar. If you only visit one vineyard in the area, let it be Santa Rita! I arrived at 10:30am and stayed all day until close. Such beautiful gardens, delicious wine, a fascinating museum, and well organized operations with English speaking guides and very helpful staff. Don’t miss Dona Paula, the onsite restaurant. I had lunch with the friends I made on my tour and cannot recommend it enough, especially our server Luis 🤍

A wonderful experience in the Maipo Valley!
We had the chance to visit Santa Rita Winery, and it was a truly memorable experience. The tour of the vineyard and the cellar was both informative and enjoyable, with our guide sharing the rich history of the winery in a very engaging way. The wine tasting was excellent, with generous pours and a great selection of their labels.
An added bonus to the visit is the Andean Museum, which is included in the tour and offers a surprisingly impressive collection of pre-Columbian and colonial artifacts. It’s a beautiful space that really adds cultural depth to the overall experience.
Highly recommended if you’re visiting Santiago and want to explore Chilean wine culture at its best!
Brilliant. You can do an hour tour there. It’s fascinating, can be done in a few languages. You end up trialling some really nice wine in their cellar with very generous portions. We got a free wine glass for each of us and then went to their shop where it’s amazingly cheap! We bought 12 bottles at a great price and they’re very happy to let you test the bottles you’re looking at so you can decide to buy or not.
I combined Santa Rita with Concha y Torro. The tour in Santa Rita was better, due to the things you see in the winery and vineyard. The guide was also very knowledgeable and entertaining. The wine was better at other places, although you get to try 4 wines. If you want to look how a mass producer does it, this is the preferable spot! If you want the best wine in Chile, it's not what I would recommend.
Concha y Toro was a bit nicer - but 100% worth to visit Santa Rita, learn more about its story, why 130 is such an important number and its rich gardens around the hotel.
Wine tasting and tour, stunning winery that produces 90 million bottles a year, tour takes about 50 minutes and includes tasting 3 wines of the 120 range.....won't give away the story of its name, you'll have to go yourself....!
The winery is beautiful. The horse drawn carriage was relaxing and we enjoyed touring the grounds. Our tasting of three wines was superb and then there was the picnic lunch we enjoyed on the grounds. It was the highlight of our day. I highly recommend touring this location.
The grounds are pretty nice with most historical cellar we have seen in the Santiago area. The wine pairings come with cheese and nuts so that was good. Our guide however was very disengaged and really without much knowledge of the wine or it's makings. A bit disappointed because of that.

Visiting from the U.S., our first trip to Buin Zoo was absolutely incredible! We were captivated by the detailed representations of different continents and impressed by the friendly staff. My daughters were thrilled to see so many capybaras, their favorite animal, and we all adored the red panda. While it's a bit of a drive from the city, it was definitely worth every minute!
It is a good zoo but I found price to be too expensive. There are many children, places to eat and drink, everything is organized well. Many animals are there and th visibility is good.
Was pretty good, the weather was so good, and is wonderful, I full recommend for kids, there are so many animals, birds and so many places to stop when you're so tired, there are so many restaurants ( fast food) to eat. There are souvenir's shops and there are an act with marines animals, all was ok and so good.
Excellent zoo in Santiago, the place was very clean and beautiful, it's not the largest zoo I have been but I really enjoyed my tour despite its size it has a great variety of animals but I am concerned about the little space that the animals have. I really enjoyed the marine show at the zoo, it was very informative and entertaining. I loved it !!
Beatiful place with great access. Mostly wheelchair friendly but can turn quite difficult in some parts. The animals are well taken care of and looked happy and the staff is very nice and helpfull. Its has its own parking lot.
Byin Zoo is one of the best parks that you can visit! Staff super friendly! And the scenery and animals are awesome, amazingly well done. The animal's habitats are carefully maintained. The park it is clean and you will have multiple spots for beverage and get something to eat. Just save your time and money and avoid visiting Hakuna Matata restaurant, it is a waste of money, only good thing there is the air conditioning 😉 the park management must work to improve that restaurant, before was really good.
Good selection of animals: lions, jaguar, monkeys, rhinos, giraffes, snakes, birds, etc. Has a tarantula (arthropods) exhibit. Took 2 boys 6 and 12 and both enjoyed the visit. Small enough to do in an afternoon, about 40 exhibits. A few "shows". A bit stinky but maybe expected for a zoo. Visited in late May 2019; weather was cool.

Man! I have visited so many casinos around the world, and I swear Monticello is on the top of technology.
First, the registration is online, fast, and efficiently. Some countries in Europe still use physical staff to registered while here is everything electronic.
Then, they have national ATM, which lead to not overcharging on fees, such as in others' fakes ATM.
Huge casino, with many electronic machines, the best on technology.
Winning or losing is up to the luck. But the experience was amazing.

Went here to see Bob Sinclar, music was fantastic but there was no space to dance. It's a place to watch a show rather than dance to music. We ate quite well in a restaurant, although somewhat overpriced for what it was
Huge Casino! Hotel real close. Bunch of restaurants with many options for really good food. Great A/C. Coffee places. Shops. Nice Wine Store. Great impeccable infract structure, with parking. This place is a great alternative to visit when leaving the noisy city of Santiago for a lil bit, or a weekend. Picture shows "Locos" a Chilean Sea Food I have not tried since last century! Fantastic.
