It was a silly place but fun for our kid and we took lots of pictures. The photographer in there was really nice and only charged us R$5 per adult to take photos of us by the sign and even did a video with snow falling. We enjoyed that!

Overlooking Campos do jordoan, beautiful European style town right in brazil. You can take a "ski lift" type ride up or down to the overlook. Couple of little shops and food vendors so you can spend a little extra time enjoying the view. The photos are what so much of the home, hotels, shops and restaurants are like.

Beautiful view in a place that could get potential to be better. We climbed to the elephant's hill using the scared cable car, I believe its was created with the city and never modernized. My husband, who is Canadian, liked the experience more than I did. He was scared but he found excited at the same time. I think that because I have already been to Campos do Jordão several times, I think at this point the city, which seems to be very rich looking at the hotels in the area and people who frequent it, should have already renovated that a long time ago and have made something much better and more attractive, as the other countries that have mountains for Ski. I think don’t need to be exactly the same, but Mount Tremblant in Quebec also has a small area up hill and its not so fancy, but little more attractive and safe. Anyway, the view is very beautiful and we can see the whole city, mountains and part of the other surrounding regions. When we get up there again, the attractions could be much more elaborate and modernized giving opportunity to locals to get better jobs, show a nicer view and give to the city, locals and visitors a better structure. I think the place with elephants is a good idea, especially for children, but they could modernize it and charge a little for the entrance to maintain the place. They also could make a kind of a little mall where people could expose their crafts making their products more attractive and a nice cafe or restaurant with a lookout ... Anyway, use a little of the American style of exposing your business, which could be better for everybody. If I had money to invest, that unfortunately is not the case at the moment, I would probably organize people and get that changed for the benefit of all city and visitors. Overall a very nice place. The cable car looked a bit outdated and you definitely shouldn't be afraid of heights haha. But you are rewarded at the end with a beautiful view! :)

This park is absolutely beautiful. We spent a few hours here, exploring. Then we had lunch at the restaurant at the end and it was wonderful.

Such a beautiful place with kind-hearted staff! I’m not a local and didn’t know that they only accept cash and Pix, and since my card was international they couldn’t accept it. The girl selling tickets let me in for free and covered my parking as well. Such a simple yet kind act, it was genuinely the highlight of my day! The plants and gardens were beautiful, and I felt very peaceful afterwards. I would recommend this place to everyone!

This park was absolutely beautiful and worth the 40 Reis entrance fee. The gardens were all well-maintained. The views of the surrounding valleys were spectacular. It's an easy stroll through the park, and there's even a maze to navigate through. There are various plants to see and coy fish in the ponds. And there's a tree house you can visit. You only need 1-2 hours total to see everything. The employees were nice, but it may be difficult to find someone that speaks English.

Absolutely wonderful botanical gardens. The location is amazing, with plenty of beautiful scenery. From the treehouse to hedge maze, there is a lot to occupy half a day. Highly recommend Amantikir Park; it is a must see if you are in the area.

One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever see!

This is a wonderful beach. Beautiful views and plenty of places to relax. There was also numerous restaurant options. Towards the South end of the beach there is a great overlook perfect for pictures. My wife and I especially enjoyed renting body boards and enjoying the large waves. This will be the highlight of our trip and made us feel like kids again.

So beautiful but BRING INSECT REPELLENT AND REAPPLY OFTEN. I was bitten over 50 times (honestly I counted) in the 15 minutes between swimming and eating when I reapplied repellent. All of the group had allergic reactions and were ill. It's incredibly beautiful and fun to swim and explore but be careful of the swarming mosquitoes.

Wonderful beach! Very peaceful, well preserved and quite long. Great option if you're looking for a more quite place or surfing.

Nice park. I liked how the streets were closed off for a running event. It was a nice run around the beautiful streets and lake. Plenty of vendors for some refreshments.

Nice park. Lots of cool local flora and lots of cappybara running around. The little food stands are also nice. We got coconut water and some ice cream and both were delicious. The panda statues at the playground are pretty creepy though...

If you love capybaras, you can't find a better place to go. Dozens of these friendly rodents roam around the lake. They won't let you touch them or even feed them, but they will let you pretty close. I have a video about it on my YT channel: Curves on the road

Better with family. This is an excellent spot for running, offering wide and varied trails with spots of shade at all times of day, the path was not paved in all places and so it may be muddy in the rain. There is a big ship to explore and beautiful plants. There were paddle boats but they had a cost to try. And some play equipment for kids. Depending on your disposition, this may not be the best place to go if you have limited time. There is not much that distinguishes it from any other large park in the world and it is not well maintained. It was hot and few places to buy water so come prepared.

This is a very big park, with no entrance fee! I was impressed to see capybaras chilling everywhere. There is a Planetarium, but i advise to first check out the opening hours. There's a huge ship you can get on and several food stalls with delicious snacks.

Definitely my favorite park in Campinas! Amazing green scenery views, river, trees, capybaras everywhere. Delicious Açaí and ice cream are the bonus. Very clean and animal friendly park. There are many street cats but they love people and people take care of them too. One of my father in law's cats is from this park and he named her "Serena".

It was really good. I visited on a weekend Saturday, and the lines for some rides were crazy long . After 5 hours, I had completed 4 rides and a snack. Wait-time for some attractions were almost 45 mins. The fastest was 10 mins. The vip pass should be incorporated into a ticket, but to pay R$200 in addition to $170 for entry was too crazy especially when buying 4 tickets. If you only have cash their is a location after the Egyptian site that issues a rechargeable card.

Amazing place more suitable for older kids maybe 8 to 9 years cause the interesting games are for older kids. But it is an amazing structure full of games you would need a whole day for this. The restaurants are not very practical for kids and not super clean. But overall amazing place.

It's a good place, the biggest problem is there's no free water to drink, covid is over already but you can't find water, only way it's to buy a water bottle. The hamburger is really bad but at least is cheap, the buildings is in need of repairs. Now on the good side, a lot of attractions, a big team to help you, organized line and almost all works are smiling.

Hopi Hari is a nice theme park to spend a day. I highly recommend purchasing the VIP pass because the line wait times prevented us from riding all the rides; the VIP pass is quite expensive though. The rides we rode were fun and the evening show was amazing! The food quality was average but I enjoyed the bacon and cheddar fries.

Great place! The day I visited (Feb 9th 2019) the park was very clean and with just a few people inside, I would say 2500 people. The lines were incredibly fast. The restaurants had slow service. The park is recovering from a strong crisis. It has been refurbished and everything is shining new, but the low number of visitors is still a sign that it still have a long way to go. But I loved it! 10!

A great place to spend a day with or without children. There are lots of different and varied facilities. It is not possible to pay on the spot in cash just to recharge a card or credit card. The icing on the cake was that anyone who has a birthday gets another card as a gift 🤩

Landed in São Paulo after a red eye so we needed to stay awake so we could sleep tonight…dropped off bags, showered, and headed to the market, one of my absolute favorite places in SP! Our driver took great care of us as he guided us to a friend working a fruit stall where we ate our fill in samples of some of the best tasting fruit you’ll ever try…Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Yellow Avocado, Jack Fruit, Strawberries wrapped in dates, zero filter on that 🍊orange slice it was amazing! Got some dehydrated provolone discs and cubes of Parmesan…could spend hours in this market…a must stop when you come up São Paulo 🙌🏽

We came here close to the closing time but we still manage to grant our sandwich. The main reason we came to this market was to try this sandwich and it did not disappoint. The market itself has a lot of stalls, with nuts, fish, fruit, cheese and charcuterie and places to sit down and eat and drink. It's a nice stop if you are in the area.

Not quite authentic. Lots of replication of stalls and restaurants. But it was a great mix of fruit, meats, seafood, wine bars, and restaurants. It's very clean and has a great energy. Maybe avoid the folks offering free samples but do try the cod pastel and the mortadela sandwiches. It just sit down for a glass of wine.

Boca’s was the best place for Pastels (they actually fill them full and are overflowing with meat. The Maine sandwich shop (called Maine) was the best for Mortadellas. Be aware that the sales in this market are very aggressive and pushy. They will practically cut fruit and put it in your mouth as samples. The restaurants will practically hold your hand to seat you so that you order food. Didn’t bother me and all you need to do is stand your ground. One American to another 🇺🇸 😉

Largest park in the city, it has nice roads for running and walking along with bicycle lines. It has a lake with River with plenty of grass areas to just sit and relax. We enjoyed it in a sunny day on Sunday and lots of people go to exercise and work out. Lots of local people just enjoying with their families Park has plenty of small stores to get snacks, water and natural coconut water which is great, however did not see a larger restaurant to get meals, just mobile spots for quick grab and go. There are public bathroom but can get crowded Green areas and well maintained although they could be better, trees are mostly tropical. There is a museum, planetary and Japanese site but did not go to those.

This park is right in the center of the city—almost like São Paulo’s own version of New York’s Central Park. It’s a very large green area with beautiful walking paths, lakes, cafés, and several museums. There are always many people around enjoying the space: jogging, biking, relaxing, or having picnics. We loved the atmosphere and how lively yet peaceful it felt. A perfect spot to spend time outdoors in the heart of the city.

It’s an absolute pleasure to walk in this park but keep in mind it’s huge. Plenty of cafes and shops to buy a fresh coconut or any other drinks, lots of bench’s to sit and relax or just watch people performing different instruments in the nature. I saw a lot of families spending time here with kids or having a meal. Definetly worth walking around

Beautiful park with plenty to do. There are vendors selling coconuts everywhere, so it’s the perfect drink to enjoy while taking in the nature. Afro-Brazil Museum and Japan Pavilion are worth visiting. I felt perfectly safe walking around the park alone during the daytime.

It's a lovely and very big park. It's a must if you're visiting Sao Paulo, where you can jogging have a walk a picnic or visiting one of the lovely museums in the park. There's a lot to do here. It's a green gem in a very busy and industrial city.

The price ticket is very cheap and the attractions inside are cool. The place is nice and you can see many different species there but this aquarium is small, so you’ll finish your tour in probably 30 minutes.

This is a nice simple place to visit, especially on a rainy day when the beach isn't so nice. It's a small aquarium with a nice collection of fish and similar creatures. The one depressing tank was with the sea turtle. It was just a tank and water, no earth features or other stuff. I'm hoping that it is a work in progress.

Good place for visiting with children. Not as big as worlds famous aquariums, but interesting. A lot of different fishes and reptiles. Penguins look tired because of brazilian hot weather.

It’s a nice museum and a real Curitiba’s postcard, however the exhibition wasn’t good, I was expecting more for the most famous museum in town. I’m glad I didn’t pay. Usually on Wednesday the entry is free 10am-6pm

Amazing building. African and Asian exhibitions were well curated and very engaging. Loved that museum goers were invited to create their own art out of materials similar to those used in the exhibition. Museum store needs some work.

I expected more from the museum. The sculptures are ok, the space is very pretty and overall it's ok. The only thing I didn't like was the internal security team. Some of them are a bit rude when dealing with customers. Attention.

This famous museum is on every city tour. The architecture of the museum building is impressive, especially the adjacent building known as The Eye, which is quite stunning. There are wide open picnic spaces and grounds for walking and hanging out with friends. There are admission fees to enter the buildings to see the exhibits.

As a theme park junkie, BCW provides a magical atmosphere for adrenaline seekers and family outings! The Fire Whip is a best in class inverted coaster and the Madagascar river boat is a never ending water maze of fun. You’ll enjoy the Beto Carrero theme through the entire park - plus it’s clean, and the ride lines weren’t too long (we visited on a Monday). The best part is that the staff were friendly and all aspects were firing on all cylinders - all rides and food open! Whip it good!

It is really nice place to visit with your kids and let your inner child go crazy with them. Somedays It is full occupied with the school kids trips. The staff need to be on top of crowd management during these busy times with school trips. Better rent stroller ( for kids) or scooter for old people or for yourself in case can't walk enough ( it's huge place to walk around for the shows and attractions). Advice you can rent items outside instead of inside the parque as the prices are way higher

Amazing park with tons to do for every age and taste! The only catch is: I recommend buying ONLINE AHEAD of time, as the day they wanted to charge us 3x the price but after letting them know we’d not pay that, the manager checked and they were able to give us a discount but it still cost twice as much. Overall great day between shows and rides, ending with fireworks and every one back. Would go back and get tickets/food choices prior to arriving. Ps. Parking is paid extra and they do allow you to enter with backpacks and water ;)

If I could go back in time, I’d never step foot in this park again. We’re not guests there we’re walking wallets. You guys keep milking us like cows, trying to squeeze every last penny out of us, and we would pay if we were happy , but we were on 100% disappointment . In these photos, you can see a screenshot showing the duration of one of the rides. We waited 45 minutes “Fast Pass” To go for a 40 seconds ride , and you call this “entertainment.” ?? The ride ended before I could even blink, and before you catch your breath, the employee is already rushing you out so the next 600 guests can be pushed in. Absolute garbage. In one of the videos, you can actually see people fighting, angry, shouting, completely frustrated. And that’s where the whole idea of an amusement park disappears. People shouldn’t be angry in a place meant for joy. The woman in that video didn’t even have what it called “Fast Pass” she’d been waiting for three hours. To get a ride for her kids, Meanwhile, your teenage employees move slowly, and couldn’t care less about the people. My advice to the management: Set a limit for yourselves. All this chaos happens because you accept as many guests as you can possibly fit , just to squeeze out a few more millions in the profit margin . Have some decency and put a cap, especially during high season, so people can actually enjoy and leave happy. And please, stop hiring only teenagers. Hire mature, trained adults who can actually handle problems when they arise. My advice to visitors: Avoid this place during high season. If you must go, try March or April , it might be slightly better. Be warned: everything inside is overpriced. Food, drinks, snacks , everything. Popcorn costs +R$30, a basic meal is R$50+, and there are endless extra fees. Don’t think buying the ticket is all you’ll spend , for two adults, expect at least R$300 for entry, another R$200 for the “Fast Pass,” plus 200 drinks and water. In general I won’t come back there again.

Perfect place to enjoy with kids! Beto Carrero park has a lot of attractions (radical, cultural and relaxing) for all ages. I recommend at least 2 days to enjoy most of the attractions If you are travelling with kids. They have partnership with DreamWorks Studios, which allow BCW deliver theme areas and shows, such as Madagascar, Shrek and Trolls.

Highly recommend, buy Fast past ticket to avoid a very long queue "40 to 120 mins". Perfect place for kids and family. You have to see yes or yes Hot Wheels show.

You have to be organize to ride the most attractions possible if you dont have the fast pass the files for most rides are loooooooooong but kinda worth it (?) the food is expensive but overall it was so much fun and a unique experience i wanna come back soon with friends

Beautiful beach surrounded by good restaurants and souvenirs stores. Busy and energetic environment, with music and large crowds. Accessible by car, pirate boat, and lift. A great escape from the city.

The teleférico ticket gets you to the top of the park, where you can stay and enjoy the trails in the Atlantic Forest or enjoy snacks or meals before continuing down to the beach of Laranjeiras where there are many restaurants and beautiful calm waves. Chairs and umbrellas are for rent if you wish to stay awhile. The ticket also gets you back where you can stay at the top for more time or continue on back to Balneário Camboriú. We started our voyage at around 10:00 and got back by 1:00.

Parque Unipraias in Balneário Camboriú is an incredible place to visit and a must-see attraction in the city. It offers a perfect combination of fun, adventure, and breathtaking natural beauty. The cable cars provide an amazing experience, connecting the beach area to the top of the hill with stunning panoramic views of the city, ocean, and lush forest. Gosh there really aren't words to describe the views you get from up top of the mountain. It is "the" spot to take the mot beautiful panoramic pictures of Balnéario Camboriú. The city itself is beautiful but the views from up there are out of this world. I'm so glad I did it.

We went for Oktoberfest so was great to visit. Well set up and decorated. Like a little German village dull of shops as well as the large hall where the live bands and dancing was held. Extremely busy on the Saturday, hard to walk and waited in line for food, beer or toilet for at least 20 minutes. Friday was better as less people. You can purchase the ticket across the road for the Oktoberfest before entering. Full german costume gets you half price entry. Food was average.

For me as a German, really interesting to see what is considered typical German in Brasil. There are not many people, as we came here during a rainy day.

Great family fun here. Many great shops and eateries. Great Christmas decorations and displays. One restaurant had live German music playing. An excellent walk. Make sure you check for parking before you arrive. Parking can be challenging.

Dissapointing visit. Was expecting more of it. Just 2 streets. 5 weeks before easter and they where hanging the whole park full of easter eggs to many for my liking. Very touristic pricing was crazy.

This is a fantastic beach amazing for playing volleyball. Get to know other people find amazing friends just relax on the beach. Enjoy the nature. The views the waves are friendly. A lot of people do windsurfing which is fantastic. There are rocky areas on the left side. Be careful about them if you go there make sure that you step on stable and Certain places not to fall between the rocks. There will be dangerous people who sell stuff by the beach are friendly and welcoming, which was amazing to there are some showers right outside the beach, which were also clean and amazing and I really liked them. I went there with a friend of mine and I took amazing pictures there and I really love the beach and the waves there I would always go back.

It’s ok. Actually a very busy beach so if you’re into that then it might be the right place for you. What’s great is the dunes sitting in the background. If you climb up you’ll get a very picturesque view of the beach! Also the rocks on the left side of the beach is a cool spot to check out !

People are very nice and the beach is beautiful. Water is clean but sometimes the waves are strong. Plenty of gift shops and a few places to eat. You can enjoy and relax here for hours and not notice how long it's been.

Nice beach with breathtaking views, clear and clean water but it has big waves (perfect for surfers) anyway you can get into the water with extreme caution (I wouldn’t recommend it for children).

Surf prohibited May-July. Santa Caterina has a law that due to fishing you cannot surf on many beaches during this period. Rosa Norte allows surfing but it's busy. Very quite beach and village except in season, but a very nice, friendly place.

Vila Moema Pousada is a great place to relax when in vacay at Praia do Rosa in SC, Brazil.

Access to this pin is restricted by a military gate, even with the permit.

Awesome views of the Serra Geral range. At 6,007 ft, it is the highest point around. Site of the Pedra Furada rock. Access requires a permit available from the Parque Nacional de São Joaquim, at nearby Urubici SC. The office is open regular standard hours.

Amazingly beautiful. The whole region near Urubici is actually full of beautiful surprises. I'm visiting again this winter.

I recommend to book ticket one week before you get here.

Great water park, rides are enjoyables, food is good and the price is fair. If possible you should avoid going there on weekends because of the queues.

Was a wonderful experience, the park has very different options to play, to eat and to have fun. I'll be back soon as possible.

Walked to Paraguay from Brazil. If you're actually going to stay in Paraguay (and not merely shop there for a day), then be sure to get an exit stamp in your passport from the Brazil side of the bridge (Paraguay immigration will make you go back to Brazil if you don't have the exit stamp). Good views of the border river (Parana) from the bridge!

I love the sunset and the show in the international friendship bridge 😁 The architecture is marvelous as well. It was a pleasant experience.

The bridge itself is nice but vehicular traffic was very bad going to Ciudad del Este. We crossed in a bus around 10AM on Thursday. Returning to Brazil by bus, the traffic was better.

It got me to Paraguay and back. Use the right side of the bridge each way walking over. Locals don’t need to stop at immigration on either side but if you’re not local stop and get your Brazil exit stamp and Paraguay entry stamp, and the opposite in return. Brazil immigration was a little hard to find one booth serves both sides, Paraguay has a building on each side.

Most disgusting border crossing I’ve ever seen. Dirty, noisy, stinking and smelly. DISGUSTING !

I took an Uber to the bridge which cost me £3. I walked across the bridge with no problem. I’m a single middle-aged female on my own and no one troubled me. I did a little shopping and I came back again. I didn’t even make a stop at immigration nobody seemed interested. No problem. I got a cold beer near the bridge and I ordered an Uber back to my hotel, which cost me £2. I was advised to use the buses I didn’t get on with that because I couldn’t figure out which bus or how to pay

The view from the bridge is very nice. But the bridge is in a very rough shape. It’s super dirty and it looks like it’s not being maintained at all.

Very nice park with waterfalls and wild animals. It is a perfect place for you coming with your family for a happy day. However, remember that this is a touristic place. So, if you don't like crowded places, it is better you come during the weeks days, in low season periods.

Like many things in Gramado/Canela, the Caracol Park is overpriced. R$75 for an adult or 90 with the mirador. Add to that parking (30) and if you want to do the little train inside (hard to avoid with kids) it’s another 20. The views are nice, and compared to other things in the area it’s not a complete rippoff, but it’s too expensive nonetheless It’s not accessible like they claim. If you’re on a wheelchair forget about it. If you’re with a stroller, prepare for a treat: the gravels uphill are a delight!

It's small, so don't expect to hike in nature. Well maintained. The only way to see the larger waterfall is via some observation platform you have to wait in line for. There's another short walk to a waterfall where you can get closer. I think it's designed mostly for families with children--lots of playgrounds and BBQ areas.

The falls are quite impressive but this is a expensive touristic attraction. You can't get close to the water and you have to pay extra if you want to access the best spot to have a picture of yourself with the falls

Beautiful place to spend the day with nature. We saw a hummingbird and a toucan and had a wonderful time hanging in the hammocks and viewing the waterfalls.

Price is way too expensive - R$70 per person for regular adults. We saw the waterfall for free by going to the cable car park farther down the road, entering the car gate on foot and walking to the viewpoint by the parking lot - the only problem with that one is that you currently can't see the bottom quarter of the falls because some trees are in the way.

So beautiful and a lot to see. Try to come earlier in the day because it becomes very busy in the afternoon.

Extremely crowded, we arrived at around 12pm and the crowd was huge so it was hard to take good pics of it. There was a line at first but then people stopped respecting it and it got crazy lol. Still nice to see it, though.

Is a visit to “the Fingers” touristy and overcrowded? Yes. Is it also a must-do when in Punte del Este? Absolutely. Go, take a selfie and give the world the peace symbol or whatever finger fits your mood.

The symbolic place at Punta del Este. We visited there at the begging of May in the morning around 8:40am. There was very few people, so it was easy to take a photo only with my family. Punta del Este was so much fun place.

Must go. The nature landscape is breathtaking, and the sunset with the audio experience of Paez Vilaro reading his poem to the sun, is mind blowing. This a remarkable experience, worth every second. Buy tickets in advance and plan your visit close to the sunset hour, so you can do the museum tours and safe a good spot for the sunset spectacle.

Visited the museum only, and it was one of the most unique museums I have been to! Spectacular views, nice cafe/bar with the views to the sea to enjoy the sunset. Friendly staff (not to mention even playful kitties around!), really recommend :)

What an amazing property. We didn’t stay in the hotel, but we were able to walk the grounds by visiting the museum and eating at the restaurant whilst we enjoyed the sunset ceremony. The drive from Montevideo took 2 hours, but didn’t feel like that at all as the views kept getting better and better the further we kept going. Then boom - views for days. I have no words for how beautiful and ambitious this whole place is. We got there just in time as they were about to close. Right after we finished walking the grounds, we found a table right outside that was perfectly located with a view of the sunset. We had just gotten our food as the sunset ceremony was about to begin. Let me tell you something. Hearing Carlos Páez Vilaró talk about the sun and thanking it with the beautiful words he used got me all verklempt. Sure did end up sitting there with tears of joy as the sun fully went down. We went to town on the pizza and salad we got after finishing our cocktails. Man, that pizza was perfection. The second we left the property, I told myself I’d be back.

A Hidden Gem with Major Flaws I recently visited Casa Pueblo, and while the architecture is stunning and the location breathtaking, the overall experience was disappointing. The entrance fee of $14 per person feels steep, especially if you just want to grab a meal without visiting the museum. Unfortunately, the lunch experience was far from enjoyable—think more culinary mystery than local flavor. Toilets without soap or water? Check. A friendly yet unprofessional staff? Double check. And the terrace? Let’s just say it had some “surprises” under the tables. It’s a shame that such an iconic place isn’t being maintained properly. If you’re after beautiful art and architecture, Casa Pueblo is a must-see, but be prepared for a few unexpected quirks!

Stopped here on a day trip for photo ops. Definitely worth the stop. Would I pay to come and see this all by itself, probably not.

Sadly we arrived by bus on a tour from the ship. The driver parked down the shore and was rushing us. I needed at least 30-60 minutes here just to take in the architecture. I never made it inside the property but what I saw through the gates , behind the guard, looked amazing. I will have to return not on a rushed bus tour .
