Nice place to visit kids. You can spend the whole day here with family There are a lot of relaxing places. We visited on Friday so there was not much rush , so it is better to visit on weekdays so you can enjoy it more. All the rides are a little old but even with summer it was not that hot as there were lots of trees. The food was also good.

Absolutely a hell for kids. Earlier it was good but since few months it's been a bad place for kids and even adults. The reason for the same are, 1. The water causes irritation, swelling and skin diseases. 2. Water smells very bad and i feel they do not clean regularly. 3. Chlorine content in water so high that one can easily smell once you enter the pool or any slides. 4. Skin gets tanned even after you apply a cream or ointment and tanning remains for even 2 months. 5. Toilets are always dirty even if you are the first to visit in day. 6. The place looks like haunted as the cleanliness is neglected. 7. The dinosaur park is a garbage and absolutely not worth visiting. 8. Other rides in the amusement park are hardly enjoyable, some are always under maintenance or closed and no attendant at all. The ticket price is Rs.999/person (without food) and additional locker charges are Rs. 200 (Refundable deposit Rs. 300), certainly overpriced not worth. Food and staff is only good thing in this water park but some items are over priced which is a normal thing in any theme or amusement I would really not recommend this place as it's a disaster and you will definately regret after visiting when you will have allergies and skin problem for few weeks 🤢

Best place for kids and family. Rides are amazing. Waterpark and amusement park both are super amazing. Surrounded by lots of trees. The park is well maintained. Food quality and taste is very average and overpriced. Overall great place for one day fun.

First of all I would like to point out that it is a wonderful place for school kids. Adults and teenagers would not be as satisfied as they should be. No large pool for adults. Currently (3rd week of Nov 2025) the wave pool is under construction, and it was no were mentioned in the brochure or by our travel agent that we'll not be able to enjoy it. Truly disappointed with it. But I would like you'll to focus on these key points. -----Negetive points - * Thin paper Coupons are given for breakfast, lunch and evening tea/coffee (which can easily be torn or disintegrate in water) And as it is a water resort we are told to keep hold of the thin paper Coupons as we are the soul protector of it. Upon damage or misplaced the management does not bother. You will be roaming hungry. (The food is also expensive) (I suggest that the management should now switch to waterproof HAND - BAND instead of a lousy thin paper Coupons) * Cigarette are priced double and not every cigrette is available. And most importantly a smoking section is provided for the smokers but It is so congested that not more than 3 people could stand there comfortably. Moreover it is nowere mentioned or written that smoking outside the smoking zone is fined for 500/- * Evening under the chikoo is meant to be calm and peaceful, but the only piece you will lose is a piece of you. Gaint mosquitos. I swear to god I have seen it... The mother of all mosquitos. A gaint flying blob in this resort. (Pest control needed) * The DJ was changing songs in every 10-15 secs. Instantly killing the vibe. _____________________________________________ -----positive points - * The food was absolutely delicious. ( The pasta and noodles were not boiled properly) apart from them the food was heavenly. * The toilets are clean and hygienic. * Proper systematic arrangement of staff and security.

We visited Tikuji Ni Wadi Resort for a birthday celebration and had an okayish experience. While the resort looks great, there were some drawbacks. The offline ticket queue was quite long. Additionally, the tickets didn't include meal options, which was inconvenient. The pools and restrooms were well-maintained, though. However, the adventure park was a letdown – many rides had vomit stains that weren't cleaned properly, which was quite unpleasant. If you're looking for a less crowded resort, you might want to consider other options.

Don't go on rainy season fully waste of money many rides were closed but they taking full amount. Food money is not included in the package , rest everything is good and some staffs are very rude . Food is very costly just it got famous because of tarak mehta ka ulta chashma

Nice place. I felt like Madam Tussauds of India. Number of statues is not a big, hardly about 15. Overall a good place for the photography lovers. You can have photos with celebrities.

Amazing 😍 i had a really good time with my family. Tickets were around 300rs per person which first sounds expensive but when you enter the museum you'll feel your money is well spent. I wouldn't say it's madame tussaud level real but it's quite at that level. They even give you to take photographs for no extra cost. Bala saheb thackeray statue is there but you can't really get up close to him. Gandhi looks fake. Rest all are good. My favorite was that security guy when you turn right for the first time. I was amazed how real it looked.

Nice place but get a good taxi because I ahd the worst experience in India this time with taxi drives. So my advice is get a good English understanding driver because some are realy rude

I visited KidZania Mumbai with my two kids, ages 4 and 6, and they absolutely loved it. It’s such a unique concept—not something you find in many places. The children get to role-play different professions, learn new skills, earn and spend their own KidZos, and even buy goodies at the end with the money they’ve earned. The entire experience is extremely well-organized, and the staff is wonderfully friendly and engaging throughout. The pilot activity with Captain Ayesha, the police department and the beauty salon was a big highlight for my kids, thanks to the warm and encouraging staff guiding them. Overall, it was a truly wonderful day, and I highly recommend KidZania Mumbai for families with young children.

It's a good experience overall. Cave 1 is the main significant cave with good carvings of different stories of lord shiva. Place is well maintained with required amenities like water dispenser and washrooms availability. As commented by many, please be prepared for a decent climb. Please be aware of Monkeys on the way. I would suggest to avoid visit if you see any rain forecast. Be prepared for a long ferry up and down for about 1 hour on each direction. There are different tickets you have to buy 1. Ferry ticket (about Rs300 per head) 2. Toy train (Rs10 per head. Optional. You can also walk) 3. Village entry fee (about Rs10 per head) 4. Elephanta caves entry fee ( Rs35 per head for adults with age >15years)

Just one out a total seven caves at the Elephanta Islands, approximately seven nautical miles away from Bombay ... have been kept in some condition that keeps the place alive for tourism. This inspite it being dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The second cave is accessible but has little majesty of carvings compared to the first. The third to seventh are closed to tourists since the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation has not been successful in maintaining the heritage site.

Just got back from exploring the amazing Elephanta Caves, and wow, what a trip! 🤩 These ancient rock-cut temples are seriously breathtaking, with incredible sculptures dedicated to Lord Shiva. The sheer artistry and history are mind-blowing, making you feel like you've stepped back in time. 🇮🇳 Getting there by ferry was also a scenic adventure, with beautiful views of the Mumbai skyline. It’s definitely a must-visit if you’re ever in the area!

I recently visited the Elephanta Caves in Mumbai, and it was an incredible experience. The place truly reflects the depth of our spiritual history and the brilliance of ancient Indian craftsmanship. Seeing the Trimurti and other stone sculptures carved so beautifully without any machines makes you realize how advanced and devoted people were in those times. The energy around the caves feels peaceful and powerful at the same time. It’s a reminder of how rich and meaningful our Hindu culture and traditions are. Definitely a place everyone should visit to connect with our heritage and appreciate the spiritual depth behind it.

Elephanta Caves is a nice place to visit at least once for the experience and history. The journey itself starts from the Gateway of India, where you can take a ferry that takes around 1 to 1.5 hours one way. The return ticket costs ₹290 per person. Once you reach Elephanta Island, there’s a small toy train ride available that costs ₹20 per person to take you closer to the caves. Before reaching the caves, you’ll need to pay a small Gram Panchayat entry fee of ₹5–10. After that, there’s another entry ticket for the caves which costs ₹40 per person for Indian tourists (more for foreigners). The caves are beautifully carved and hold great historical and cultural significance, but be prepared for some walking and stairs. There are also local stalls and small restaurants nearby for snacks and refreshments. Overall, it’s a good one-time visit to explore the ancient art and enjoy the scenic ferry ride, but make sure you have enough time as the entire trip can take around 5–6 hours in total.

Visit Elephanta to truly get inspired by the craftsmanship of ancient workers. The divine structures are absolutely stunning. The vibe inside is full of divinity and peace. Recently, they have made the booking complicated. You will have to purchase the tickets online only as there is no one on the window to give you help but if you get stuck then do not hesitate to ask the security guard there for help. And please email the authorities to mention this inconvenience. You will have to take a ferry from Gateway of India, then a mini train to the island. Please be aware of monkeys and do not eat and walk as the cheeky monkeys can snatch the food or drinks from you! Also, please be aware feeding the monkeys is not permitted. There are steep stairs so be prepared for climbing a lot of stairs. If you like there are also people who carry you up above for nominal charges. There are lovely souvenir shops on the left and right of the stairs; you can buy gifts, et cetera from there. Lots of veg and non-veg restaurants as you go up. An absolute must visit if you want to truly get inspired by this vibrant city of Mumbai as it is not very far it takes just over one hour.

In most of the travel portals, blogs and magazines, Matheran has been represented by using Louisa Point's pictures. During the peak season, photo points are a little crowded and sometimes you need to be patient for your view to be ‘people free’, but all your waiting time is worth those beautiful, dreamy and wallpaper pictures. Very beautiful view point in Matheran. Huge open space for you to sit, relax, spend some time with yourself or family/ friends, absorb the atmosphere (take tons of pictures if you wish to!). On one side you have the beautiful landscape of hills and plateau and on the other side you have a beautiful waterfall! There’s a long fence on the right, however there is a point where the fence is broken and one can just hop over and walk to the edge of the ledge for an adrenaline rush (although not advisable)!

Charlotte Lake & Lord’s View Point are next to each other. It’s known for the pretty sunsets, there are small stores close by that sell snacks and tea. It’s a small hike for 15min from the main path. It is super safe both at day and night to walk through the forest. I would recommend this place if you’re at Matheran for visit.

It's a must-visit if you're heading to this beautiful hill station. This serene spot lets you sit quietly by the lake, absorb the tranquility, and truly feel connected to nature. To reach the lake, you'll need to trek a bit through the forest — a refreshing and adventurous experience. This lake is a good place to visit in Matheran. The walkway to the lake is quite scenic. The lake is artificial and small but there is a nice view of landscape on the other side.

Visited Varsoli Beach in Alibaug recently with my cousins. There’s ample parking and plenty of fun beach and water activities. If you prefer a quieter spot, just walk a little ahead for a peaceful, less crowded stretch of beach. Perfect for a relaxing day !

Varsoli is a small, peaceful village located just 3 kilometers from Alibag. It is one of the popular destinations near Alibag, yet it remains quiet and beautiful village. Visitors can enjoy its scenic seashore, quaint village roads, ancient temples, delicious seafood, and exciting water sports. Varsoli is an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful vacation that still offers a range of activities and culinary delights. The main attraction of Varsoli is its clean, white, and flat sandy beach. There are plenty of resorts and homestays available in and around Varsoli, making it a perfect getaway for nature lovers and beach enthusiasts alike.

Excellent beach other than Kashid. The water however does not seem very inviting for a dip. Not very clean as compared to Kashid. Long beach with lots of white sand and breeze. Lots of activities to do like Cycling, banana boat and other water sports. Ends of the beach offer an amazing strech of sand for a quiet walk by the sea. Almost completed my step count on the beach :) The food on the shacks and shops near by is amazing too. We tucked in to some great Prawns and Surmai fry at a good price. Saw some kind of a snake on the beach too !

Not many seaside activities, but it’s quiet and good for simply spending some peaceful time.

⚠️ Disappointing Experience at Alibag Beach Our visit to Alibag Beach was quite disappointing. The place was extremely crowded, with food stalls, rides, and people everywhere — it felt chaotic, and there was barely any space to relax or enjoy the beach. The parking situation was terrible, and there seemed to be no proper crowd management or supervision by the authorities. Even though the area has been recently renovated, the beach was littered with food waste and not maintained well. Overall, it’s not a place I would recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful or clean beach experience. There are much better, quieter beaches nearby like Nandgaon or Kashid that offer a more relaxing atmosphere. 🌊🚫

Beautiful beach, lots of water activities. We tried the speed boat and enjoyed it! It was quite crowded when we visited. We also went at night and loved the cold breeze. You can walk to Kolaba Fort during low tide (7 am to 1 pm), but we missed it.

I for india, Mr india, salimghadh/ banghadh, were good too. Dead drop was a slight disappointing. Chota Bheem ride for kids, sloch monster were good for kids. Dancer / performer's were good treat. The water fountain show at the end of the day was soothing.

Best for Camp piece full place enjoy and relax. It is a very good place, you will get good roads to reach there, you may have to climb a little mountain, it is good for nature activities, you just have to find a good camp which is near the lake, you can also take a bath in it

The sand on this is soft as silk. Although you'll find shells and corals if you move towards the shore. A lane of huts setup around the beach where you can relax, enjoy the sea view while you're on the net hammock swing, enjoy the fish or local cuisine which is prepared by local women's and served with love.

Lovely beach, filled with white sands glowing sky amidst dark blue Arabian Sea. From Nagaon it took about an hour to reach Kashid city. Beach has parking place. As you take a turn and enter Kashid, you get to view the beach surrounded by black stones. There are camel and horse rides organised in the beach, while motor rides and bullock horse rides are popular. Surrounded by lush greenery, mountains, mangroves this beach is popular for sunset. There are shops for shoppers and street food for foodies. A beach not to miss visiting from Alibaug.

Coastel road is too good to drive. 30 rupees cost for a bucket of water after sea bath. Photogenic pics. Liquor is not available,carry your own. 11 to 3 pm time is too hot. After sunset should leave the beach(no public transport). Sunrise time is so good. Nature loving person will like it. Water sports like jets ski, banana ride,dragon ride also available.

it's ancient structure, the top of the fort has good view and very wind breezy cool air. Apart from that it's mostly broken structures inside. It's long wait on weekends where you have to wait in boat for half an hour at least.

Janjira Fort is one of the strongest marine forts in India, famous for being unconquered despite several attacks by the Portuguese, British, and Marathas. Built over 350 years ago by the Siddis, this fort stands majestically in the middle of the sea, about 2 km from the Murud coast.

Must visit Fort in Maharashtra. The boat will drop you at the entrance. The boats have a schedule where they pick you up after 45 minutes. So you get to see the important points quickly before returning. We didn't get food and water from the fort. We can see two fresh water lakes in the middle of the salty sea.

Very nice way to spend half a day, immersed in the history of the fort. The boatmen extort money, but if you can overlook that, then it's worth the info the give.

Overall, Janjira is not just a fort it’s a living story of resilience, history, and the beauty of the Konkan coast.

An incredible slice of Indian history still remaining in an iconic condition well worth a visit by boat , for about an hour onshore. The skill and craftsmanship are classically inspiring . Get someone to guide your visit or at least find out more about the long history of this Island fortress , there was an original tunnel connection under the seabed back to the mainland as a last ditch escape route for the people . Ferry tickets and fort visitation are separate tickets but well worth it for such a rare piece of history . Sailing over and back by boat was very chilled out 😎

I recently visited Diveagar Beach, and it turned out to be one of the cleanest beaches I’ve seen. It wasn’t too crowded when I went, though I’ve heard it gets quite busy on weekends. There are plenty of water sports to enjoy — parasailing costs around ₹1200 per person, while most other activities range between ₹200–₹400. The weather was rainy during my visit, which made the surroundings even more peaceful and beautiful. I really enjoyed spending my weekend there. If you’re looking for a calm two-day getaway by the sea, Diveagar Beach is definitely worth visiting. One tip — choose your restaurant carefully, as the food can be a bit pricey and not always worth the cost.

Nice place for one or two night stay with family. There are many hotels of different range nearby, however it is suggested to do advance booking. The beach is beautiful, excellent for photography, their are water sports available for all age groups. Food joints are available and you can enjoy authentic konkani sea food here.

Do try MODAK! Beach is good and clean. Try to be there on Thursday, so you can have less crowd as compared to weekends. Most probably if you reach early enough at 5 or 6am you will see a good sunrise with less crowd. Do carry good footwear and do not bring expensive gears with yourselves.

The trek or road climb is fun and not too long. The view from the top is amazing, especially during monsoon when everything turns lush green. Clouds move around you, sometimes covering everything, and the wind feels like it can lift you up. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and worth the trip. Food stalls at the top serve authentic rural Maharashtrian food—pithla-bhakri, curd, kanda bhaji, and lime sharbat. After the climb, it tastes even better. It’s a perfect weekend spot for nature lovers, trekkers, history fans, or anyone needing a break from the city.

I’ve been to Sinhgad Fort twice once in winter and once during the monsoon and both visits were unforgettable. The views are absolutely stunning! During the rains, the entire place turns magical with fog rolling in, clouds blanketing the mountains, and the fresh green grass swaying beautifully in the wind. One of the best spots near Pune to enjoy nature, weather, and peaceful views. A must-visit!

- I visited Sinhagad in November and it was really an awesome experience. - There are PMT buses after every 1 hour from Shaniwarwada to Sinhagad [convenient to take before 1pm]. - Two wheelers also available for a day to ride nearby area. - Make sure to meet the locals, eat the food on Sinhgad and feel the power of Maratha on fort. - Very beautifull and easy fort to climb and convenient for children also.

What an incredible place! The fort carries deep Maratha history and offers stunning views from the top. The trek takes around 1.5–2 hours, but every step feels rewarding. Ropeway option is also available for an easy ride. The atmosphere is calm, especially in the morning, and the fort is well maintained. The first trek of my life....the view after climbing the stairs for nearly 3 hours was worth it. There is a lord Shiva temple alongside the Samadi of Shivaji Maharaj. It was pure bliss...peace at its best. Simply put the trek was amazing. The best time to start is early morning. The sunrise is worth watching

Had a fabulous experience visiting the fort. Appreciate the Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj for his historical places among the Raigadh fort. About staying experience at private hotel was worse, the local people have made rooms on their roof and charging with very heavy cost so better to plan like that u can reach at early morning and go by night. For a ticket I started waiting in s queue in the early morning at 5am and the counter opened at 7pm so there is no arrangements for seating or coupons systems. Online tickets are consumed very fast so difficult to get it. Government must give more focus on improvement.

This is a well known fort for the Great Maratha Hindu king Sri Chatrapati Shiva Maharaj from where he had ruled the kingdom. At present some part of the fort still available in good shape.

Great place for trecking and scenic views mixed with historical architecture. You can get a cable car in case you dont wanna treck 2000+ steps. Please visit during winter or spring for best scenic views. In summer waterfalls dry up and during rainy season clouds could hinder visibility as was the case with me. Try to reach the place as early as possible in the morning as the night travel could be very risky on the road full of valleys.

Rajgad should be the first in life at least once. Chhatrapati Shivarai spent 25 years of his life in this fort. While walking on the fort, we feel like Maharaj... Those walls, fortifications, machi all of them have been touched by Maharaj while walking around the fort. I traveled very happily for 12 hours continuously and was not tired at all, maybe it was the greatness of Maharaja's Rajgad that I didn't feel tired at all... The fort is huge and spread out with strong walls, gates, and watch points. The view from the top is breathtaking – you can see lush green valleys, mountains, and nearby forts like Torna. The trekking experience is amazing but a bit challenging, especially in the rainy season when the fort is covered with fog and greenery. Carry enough water and snacks because the climb can take time. Overall, Rajgad Fort is a perfect place for history lovers, trekkers, and nature enthusiasts. Visiting it feels like going back into the glorious Maratha era.

Rajgad Fort is not just stones—it’s where Shivaji Maharaj lived, fought, and dreamed. The 3-4 hour trek through stunning Sahyadri hills made me feel the living spirit of our maharaj. Meeting a fellow trekker from Pune who shared the same love for this place made it even more special. Rajgad is our proud heritage, alive in every tree and rock. Everyone must visit to truly feel our history in their hearts.

There are 2 ways to go to Rajgad fort 1) drive to the place, and 2) trek If one has time and wants some real adventure, I would suggest trek. Difficulty level is moderate but it’s fun. Will take 1.5-2 hrs to reach to the fort

Wonderful beach, I went there with my family. There was no rush at all. It was a very clean beach. There were some food stalls. There were some rides I enjoyed a jet ski ride. But there was not a changing room. So, my concern is that they should provide at least a common changing room for females. Otherwise, the overall beach was nice. There was a temple also. One more thing, there are no life gaurds for safety. May they be available at season to season.

Harihareshwar Beach is a quiet and clean place. The sand is soft, and the sea is calm. It’s a nice spot to sit, relax, and enjoy nature. You can go for a peaceful walk or just watch the waves. The sunset here is really beautiful. It’s not too crowded, so you get some quiet time. The temple nearby also makes it feel special. Good place for a one-day trip with family or friends.

Murud Beach is another wonderful coastal destination in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. This beach is known for its golden sands, gentle waves, and the historic Murud Janjira Fort situated just off the coast. Murud Beach is perfect if you're looking for a mix of relaxation and activity. It’s a wide, sandy beach with enough space to walk, play, or just chill by the waves. The water is usually clean, and the beach is well-maintained, especially near the main entrance areas. You’ll find decent washroom facilities close to the parking zones — they’re usable, though not always spotless. Getting here is simple via road; it’s well-connected from Alibaug and nearby towns. For stays, there are plenty of hotels and homestays nearby, ranging from budget to premium. Evenings get a bit lively with stalls, horse rides, and families enjoying themselves, so it’s not too quiet — but not overly crowded either. If you're planning a short beach getaway, Murud won't disappoint.

*Update : As tourism grows, ignorant tourists have started running the beach. Check my timelapse video to see the filth! Beautiful Beach with water sport activities available. This beach also is supposed to be the safest on the coast with no rocks and a long stretch which doesn't go deeper than 4 feet for quiet much distance. The village has its committee that cleans the beach regularly and thats why they charge daily toll to the tourists.

Clean beach, happy to see people respecting hygiene and not littering everywhere. Crowded: there are more people here as compared to other beaches of Dapoli. Water sports: not much, the waves do not support surfing Rides : Camel, horse cart, banana rides, boat rides, speed boat available here with average safety and hygiene standards. Food: saw many restaurants around the beach. Not so great option for full course meal but tea and snacks options are available. Parking: saw people parking at the beach. To avoid hustle, we parked about 50 meters before the beach in a resort parking (charged 100 rs per car)

This place is very awesome. We went to this beach from our cottage on karde beach in about 10 minutes. In Dapoli this beach is more crowded than any other beaches. You can perform water activities here like para sailing, banana ride, sofa ride. We went to this place at evening to watch sunset and it was awesome view. You can have variety of snacks at this beach. We eated kokan special ukdiche Modak and ghawan chatney at nearby stall. One thing I observed here is local people are very polite and friendly.

The beach is clean. There are water sports like a banana Ride , paragliding etc. You will get approximately all types of food. There are lots of space for leaving on rent.

We went to Pratapgad Fort with family. There is no ticket for anyone. It has historic significance. This fort was made by Shivaji when he was 16years old and it was the most smaller fort built by Shivaji. This fort has one ambey bhawani mandir and shivling and hanuman temple which has historical importance. There is also Afzal Khan grave . While you visit take guide he will explain you everything.

The atmosphere inside the fort is palpable; everyone can feel a strong, positive energy during the walk. ​However, prospective visitors should plan ahead for a few logistical issues. There is a possibility of traffic jams on the road leading up to the fort, and finding parking during peak hours can be quite difficult. Additionally, be mindful of the resident monkeys, who can be a nuisance if you are carrying food items. Come prepared, and you will have a wonderful, energizing experience!

Its well maintained and worth every step. Its easily walkable and view is crazy. There's not ample space for parking so adjust accordingly. It gets very foogy by the evening and advised to carry a torch or phone with sufficient battery as there are no street lights and power cuts are frequent. This place should be in the must go list while in Mahabaleshwar, the views are just great and the sunset is also astonishing, bit far from the town and also had to track a bit and ok once reached the point, felt like it was a worth to try. Beautiful place explore in a nature

We went to Mahabaleshwar hoping to enjoy the rainy season. Packed all our rain gear, umbrellas, jackets, even plastic covers for bags. But as soon as we reached… the rain just disappeared! Not even a single drop! It was like the rain said, “Okay, my job is done. You guys take care now.” Instead, we were welcomed by thick clouds everywhere. Couldn’t see much ahead while driving – the fog was like “peekaboo!” every few minutes. But honestly, the cloudy weather made the whole place look magical. The valleys, trees, and hills covered in clouds looked straight out of a movie scene. We missed the rain, but the cool weather and peaceful vibes made up for it. Sitting on a hilltop with hot chai and roasted corn in that fog… pure bliss. It felt like the clouds came just to give us a cozy hug. So yeah, Mahabaleshwar didn’t give us rain, but it gave us something better — quiet, calm, and some unforgettable views. Highly recommend going there if you want a break from all the city noise. Just… don’t chase the rain. It’s faster than it looks!

Amazing journey, must visit in monsoon. But avoid night driving, visibility is very low in night. Can't see even 20 meter ahead. Otherwise it's just like experiencing heaven in monsoon.

Their products, food court, and greenery added a fun and refreshing touch to the day. Exploring the Mahabaleshwar market was another memorable experience. From local snacks and fresh produce to handicrafts and souvenirs, the market had a charming, traditional vibe that made strolling through it truly enjoyable. The viewpoints were equally captivating. Parsi Point offered stunning valley views that felt almost surreal, while Elephant Head Point stood out with its unique natural rock formation and scenic beauty. Each spot had its own charm and added a different flavor to the trip. Overall, this holiday was the perfect mix of nature, sightseeing, relaxation, and pleasant weather. Every moment felt soothing, refreshing, and memorable. Mahabaleshwar truly gave us an all-in-one holiday experience that I would happily relive anytime. 🌄✨

Visit during monsoon. When we visited there were rains but not heavy downpours. It should be drizzling not heavy rains, if there is heavy rain then the entire place is covered in fog, it would be difficult to drive in the fog in the hill station and also some view points will be closed. Hotels, restaurants and taxi service , bus services are available within Mahabaleshwar and to reach as well multiple bus or cab services available. Weekends will be too crowded, There are 3 temples at the hill top and they are a must visit.

Visited yesterday.This is one the best places in mahabaleshwar. Need to pay entry fees to start journey before this point. After this you need to pay 50/- for parking. Try to visit this place in evening to get a good view of sunset. You can take horse ride, boat ride, game shows, activity games and some tasty food items. Try to take horse ride with photoshoot. . Main market and mapro garden is near from this. Good place for spending time. Boating charge 600 for 4 person for 30min.

Venna Lake is an ideal combination of nature, leisure, and light adventure, making it a must-see destination for families, couples, and solo visitors. There is no entry cost; you only pay for activities like as boats and rides. A tranquil lakeside surrounded by green hills, ideal for wandering, photography, and relaxing. Plenty of parking accessible near the entrance.

⭐ Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Venna Lake, Panchgani is an average tourist spot — good for a one-time visit, but not something you’d want to return to. The lake itself looks nice from a distance, but it’s extremely crowded, especially on weekends. You often have to wait for hours just to get a boat ride, and the entrance area gets very chaotic. During the rainy season, the place becomes filthy and muddy, and the hygiene is below average. The nearby horse stand adds to the mess — the area is dirty and full of people constantly chasing you for rides. They charge around ₹200 for just 500 meters, which is absolutely not worth it. Parking is another headache — very congested and disorganized. Overall, this is just one of those places you visit once to tick it off your list, not for the experience itself.

It is one of the most scenic attractions in Mahabaleshwar. Beautiful lake surrounded by hills. Great for boat rides while watching the sunset. We went during May end , so the evening breeze by the lake was so soothing. Gets extremely crowded during peak tourist season. There are ample parking spots, but due to the rush of tourists, it is very difficult to find a parking spot nearby. I have seen families walk a considerable distance from their parking area to reach the lake. It all depends upon whether you get a parking or not , if you have a driver, they may drop you at a distance. Apart from this, the lake vicinity has different activities like boat riding , horse riding, etc, and way too many fast food joints selling all kinds of food and drinks. There are fruit vendors , toy vendors , and so many shop keepers all around. If you just want to sit by the lake and watch the sunset amidst all the cacophony , come a bit early and sit a little away from the main entrance point.

The beach is beautiful with less crowd. The problem is that the sand is black and, at times, polluted due to fishing boats oil discharge. The beach has lots of water sports activities compared to few years ago. The tanga ride is good. Moreover, the water is not deep and one can safely go little forwards. Unfortunately, no life guards despite so many tourists.

Ladghar Beach in Dapoli is a clean and beautiful beach with peaceful surroundings. It’s usually not crowded, which makes it perfect for a quiet and relaxing visit. The Beach was really nice beyond my thinking, I have spent quality time with my family. Both of my sons enjoyed it a lot. We went for two days but my sons want one more extra day. Long and clean beach, rides are available like banana, octopus, jets, dolphins, etc..., we get to enjoy all types of sea foods when we go to spend some time near to sea. I would like to visit LADGHAR Beach again. Thanks for making our vacation enjoyable.

Table land is the second highest asian plateu in India . From this place we can see the views of following places - 1. Pandavgad , Wai and nearby villages ( previously known as Viratnagari as per Indian Mythology )at the eastern part of plateu 2.Kamalgad at the western part of plateu 3.Dhom dam at the western part of plateu Table land is the great place for people who enjoy long walk, running, playing ground sports. Table land turns more beautiful from 20 September to 11 October every year as this is flowering period of many wild flowering plants found in western ghats .

"We visited this place for the first time and weren’t sure how much area there was to explore. At the entrance, horse riders offered to take us to 10–12 points, but honestly, only 2–3 of them are major spots that you can easily walk to within 1–2 km. If you enjoy horse riding, you can try it—but it’s quite expensive and not really necessary. The natural beauty here is excellent, especially at Table Point. Sunrise and sunset views are truly worth it!"

6 kms valley having historic relation with mahabharat. Where it is believed Pandavas spent their exile here. Pandavas footprints, caves, devils kitchen is here many movie shots were taken here. It's long plateau. Asias 2nd highest Volcanic Plateau. U cannot walk full plateau there are horses and carts which costs around 1400 to roam everywhere and they explain you story. Best to visit during sunset 🌇

One of the best places to visit during the rainy season. Do not go for any guide or so just travel by urself they will only give information on which movie was shot where and which battle was fought and etc. If horse riding available go for it and bargain for it without fail, for 9 spots go for as low as 1200-1500. You will get some picturesque views if you travelling on low rainy days. Do not spend 20 rs on pandav caves, not worth it it's just a simple shiv bhagwan statue without any lights in cave. Note: from June horse riding is banned for three months due to the rainy season.

Absolute picturesque. It has 9 points to visit. Ghodawalas will approach you right outside, you can either take a horse or walk on your own. If you take a horse then try to bargain cause they charge 3600Rs which is super expensive and not justified at all. We bargained to get the horse at 1300 for 6 points and rest 3 points we walked.

It's a must visit temple which is on the way to Mumbai Goa highway. The road is narrow at the end of the temple. Ample of parking space available. We reached there by 1130 so luckily we got Prasad to eat. Well maintained and clean surroundings.

During my recent trip to Konkan with friends, I had the chance to visit the auspicious Shri Parshuram Temple. The moment you enter the temple premises, you are welcomed with a sense of peace and positivity. The atmosphere here is truly divine, and the well-maintained surroundings add to the overall spiritual experience. Reaching the temple during peak hours can be a bit challenging due to traffic and narrow approach roads. However, once you arrive, visitors don’t have to worry much about parking as there is plenty of space available near the temple. Overall, this temple is a must-visit for anyone exploring Konkan – not just for its spiritual value but also for the serene ambiance it offers.

Very clean temple. You get nice positive vibes here. Do visit Agnihotra place and try to understand the importance from does seva just outside the Agnihotra place.

Best place to visit if you’re passing by Chiplun. Liked the cleanliness, simplicity and purity.Most importantly there is no commercialisation of the Mandir. Trust also provides you Bhakt Niwas for stay. Overall it’s a great peaceful place you should definitely visit.
