A very magnificent view at the top, overseeing the the city of Guangzhou. We had buffet dinner at the rotating restaurant while overlooking the city. A good spread of variety however doesn’t match up to the price you pay. Nonetheless, an attraction worth going.

This building is one of the highest TV tower in the world with 604 metres tall. There is nothing around it, not suitable for Sightseeing at the round, if you would like to get in and go up to it so you will have to pay about 200 Yuan for a person during 1 hour at dinner time, it would be fantastic and you will see the view of all the city.

Beautiful place. One can have a view of the city from the Top. I went upto 107th floor and it was awesome feeling at such height. This tower has the height ever bubble tram and free fall at the top which costs an extra ticket. A must visit place whenever you're in Guangzhou, China.

This was awesome and on the night not too crowded. There's a fancy Chinese restaurant on the 103rd floor and I had the chicken I didn't eat the chicken head though ;)

We did not go up the tower, but it is pretty when it lights up at night (the lights change too!), and a really cool city landmark.

I visited the Ruins of St. Paul’s on a Wednesday morning, and even then it was already quite crowded with tourists. The site itself is iconic and definitely worth visiting at least once if you’re in Macau. The stone façade is beautifully preserved and stands out against the blue sky, making it a great photo spot. The surrounding area is lively, with lots of souvenir shops and food stalls to explore after your visit. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere felt vibrant and full of history. A must-see landmark that captures both the cultural and colonial heritage of Macau.

The view from the top of the stairs is nice, and there are many shops and snacks nearby. It’s a great place to take photos and feel the culture of Macau.

A delighful place to bask in Macau's history and sample its' gastronomic offerings The ruins of St Paul Cathedral is one of the destinations that make Macau's colonial history so palpable. Towering over the old historic quater, the religious place makes visitors feel the portugese influence had on Macanese culture. Walkways to the church are lined with "colononial european designed paths" with rows of pre-colonial style townhouses and shophouses. A lot of the vendors offer free tastes of biscuits, meat jerky, almond cookies and other portugese snacks. You can actually skip dinner or lunch if you go here before mealtime because of the continuous flow of free food samples. Overall, it was a great experience for my family and I. We had the perfect day of food, history and bonding at the Ruins of St. Paul. This is a must go for anyone visiting Macau. * there are a lot of eateries and convenience stores along the side streets *a couple of other churches that offer mass service are also situated around the area * some botiques of known brands can be found in this area too, nike, adidas,giordano etc * 5 stars for koi kei egg tarts. You can find their stalls on the path up tp the ruins.

This front of the building is beautiful, but the area is very very busy most of the day. If you want a clean image. I would suggest going after 10pm or just as the sun rises. Group tours are continuously arriving, and they make a lot of noise.

Many may say there is nothing much but we can see the government is trying to provide visitors with a fruitful and memorable experience by providing many posters talking about the history plus some exhibitions. It is worth going to take some photos and a walk down the shopping alley.

The world's largest casino. 5 times bigger than the Las Vegas Venetian 🤯. Surely worth a visit to see the opulence and take a gamble if you are in Macao. No free alcoholic drinks for gamblers like in Vegas though. Managed to win and quit while ahead. You could easily spend a long time walking through the massive interconnected casinos!

The biggest casino on earth and worth a visit regardless of whether or not you're a gambler. It is sad to see the place moving more towards electronic machines rather than dealers.

My family and I spent an hour here just to try our luck at the slot machine and experience the casino. The place was humongous. The architecture and details were patterened after venice giving a european feel of the place. Despite the ultra luxurious design of the place, I was not comfortable to be in a place where people literally squander their money away. Honestly, the experience was so-so. Good for taking a few pics and seeing what the casino scene was all about. I saw a couple of friends fighting over what I can assume to be a money issue. Security was fast to act and escorted them away. Overall, if you are a casino goer, you will love it here. Otherwise, id just wander outside the casino to enjoy their replica of the venice canals.

I'm not an English-speaking traveler, but I still want to try a different style of commenting. The grammar might be off, and the meaning might be unclear, but let me give it a try! The most captivating part of The Venetian Macao for me was the shopping arcade, beautifully designed with a strong Venetian atmosphere. Walking through the mall felt almost like stepping onto the streets of Europe. The sky-themed ceiling is incredibly realistic, with lighting that mimics natural daylight and shifting shadows, making you slow down and take it all in. The artificial canal and gondola rides are iconic features, and the detailed building facades along the walkways make it a fantastic place for photos. There’s a wide range of shops—from luxury boutiques to everyday brands—and the layout is easy to navigate, making it a pleasant place to wander around. Even if you’re just here for shopping, the immersive, European-style ambiance makes it a great spot for strolling, taking pictures, and simply spending a relaxing afternoon. Although I haven’t stayed at the hotel yet, the shopping area alone is genuinely worth experiencing.

I recently visited Ha Long Bay, and it was an unforgettable experience. The sheer beauty of the limestone karsts rising dramatically from the emerald green waters is absolutely mesmerizing. The scenery feels like something out of a dream. I opted for a day cruise, which allowed us to explore the caves, enjoy kayaking, and relax while taking in the serene surroundings. Sung Sot Cave was an incredible highlight with its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The boat ride was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you have more time, I highly recommend the overnight cruises, which I plan to do next time. One small downside was the number of tourists in certain areas, but it didn’t take away from the overall beauty and tranquility of the place. The local food served on the boat was fresh and flavorful, adding an authentic Vietnamese touch to the trip. If you’re visiting Vietnam, Ha Long Bay is a destination you simply cannot miss. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a reason, and it truly lives up to the hype!

Must see in Vietnam- despite it is so turisted. Were on a luxury cruise which was a great experience in it self - but I assume all boats give the same tours and the nature is stunning.

The daily itinerary included visits to hidden caves, swimming in the bay, and enjoying sumptuous meals featuring fresh seafood while watching the sunset over the water. Apart from cruise activities, Ha Long Bay offers plenty of opportunities for adventure and exploration. Kayaking through the bay’s smaller lagoons and caves was a thrilling experience that allowed me to get closer to the stunning rock formations.

Very nice place. A must see when you come to Vietnam. I recommend the minimum 2 nights stay as most of the people only take one night and don’t get to see the most beautiful places. In the first day you only get to see the most crowded places. In the next day we went to a remote location and enjoyed some nice views and activities.

Ha Long Bay is indeed one of Vietnam's most iconic and popular tourist destinations, attracting travelers from all around the world. With its stunning view from different cave and emerald waters, it's no wonder it draws such a large crowds. Lots of fun activities like kayaking, walking up the stairs to see sun song cave, Tip top island, beach etc. lots of boat sailing on the ha long bay island.

We really loved our 3-day, 2-night cruise, it felt like a soft landing in Ha Long Bay. The staff were incredibly kind, generous, and always eager to accommodate anything we needed. The trip was well-organized and peaceful, with just the right amount of activities like kayaking, cave & pearl farm visits, swimming... easy and enjoyable for both adults and kids. It was also a very family-friendly experience. Our kids felt welcome, and the staff made them feel seen and included, which made it that much more special. Something small that didn’t resonate with us as much, though offered in good spirit was live Vietnamese violinist playing a Vietnamese violin. He played beautifully, but only Western/American songs - which felt a little disconnected from the local setting. We would’ve loved even one or two Vietnamese pieces to connect more deeply with the culture. During the spring roll-making demonstration (which was fun, cute, and surprisingly practical to learn how to make them) hygiene could be improved. Only hand sanitizer was used by staff and guests, versus everyone washing their hands and having gloves available for all. That said, overall it was a lovely and memorable experience. A clean, calm, and welcoming cruise that helped us experience Ha Long Bay in a relaxing, effortless way. We’re so glad we did it.

The cruise was fine however was very disappointed with the village trip, this looked like a staged village with restraunts setup by the cruise company. Booked 1 night stay and plan to visit the caves by canoe but the village trip took the afternoon up and due to 1 night stay the only offer to canoe to the caves was at 7:15am. Would have been better time spent in the afternoon canoeing and visiting caves rather than the village and offer village trip next day. Feel.like it's been to commercialised to warrant 5 stars.

My wife and I had an amazing cruise. Transfer to and from our hotel in Hanoï was organised for us, we were on a small 3 cabin boat, in a wooden cabin with all comfort and equipment we needed. The crew spoke English, and were very helpful, especially Phuc, always making sure we were having a nice trip. We had a private cruise with the baya legend with two friends! Kevin and his staff made our stay unforgettable! From delicious food, to nice kayak trips in deserted areas and tasteful cocktails, all was there in a very comfortable and enjoyable environment! Highly recommended! 5 stars

The show was really good! It was fun and playful but kept it's traditional ways. You can hire an audio guide for an extra 50,000. It tells you about what is going on and some history but it is not essential you can enjoy without. If you are shorter I recommend paying for a closer seat but otherwise you can see. You can go to the theatre to see the availability for tickets and times and but them ahead of time. Recommend booking ahead as some days are booked out. It is also cheaper there then going via any websites!

It's a must watch if you are in Hanoi... its a unique experience with live music n voice over by their renowned artists. You need not know the language just pick up the brochure before entering the hall and you can totally understand what is being performed. Short stories are narrated and its just 50 minutes show. So just relax and enjoy this magical show .

I love the show. I love the music too. It is a way to experience Vietnam culture. The tickets at the door are about USD$4.50. Online will cost you $13. The only convenience thing of buying online is that you can buy it ahead because in certain occasions they are sold out.

The atmosphere is lively, the traditional music is beautiful, and the whole vibe feels very authentically Vietnamese. The musicians especially were fantastic - their energy and skill added so much to the performance. That said, the entire show is in Vietnamese, so I couldn’t understand a word of the narration or dialogue. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it did make it harder to follow the storyline in some scenes. Still, the visuals, puppetry, and cultural elements were enjoyable enough that I didn’t mind too much.

The concept of the show is truly unique and an important part of Vietnamese tradition. However, the way it is presented could be much better. There are different episodes, but they are not really connected to each other. There is no clear storyline, and overall the performance feels a bit fragmented. For tourists who don’t understand the local language, it is especially difficult to follow. The translation service, which comes at a high price, does not really solve the problem — it is very partial and often unclear. You don’t know what the songs are about, and the meaning of the performance is easily lost. Because this is such a significant cultural event, I expected more in terms of storytelling, accessibility, and translation quality. Still, it’s worth seeing once to experience a unique part of Vietnamese culture.

Traditional Vietnamese wooden puppet show that explores different episodes depicting traditional Vietnamese rural lifestyle. Story and songs are all in Vietnamese, however you do have the choice to buy an audio guide that explains the meaning of the different episodes that you are watching. It's not a full translation of the dialogues that at times take place, however it is helpful to understand the basic storyline. It is a very unique show that is worth attending. Buying tickets in advance is recommended as shows do sell out quickly.

We visited this lake as part of a city tour. The stories told by our guide were certainly more interesting than the surrounding scenery and attractions. It's definitely a must-see if you're staying in Hanoi.

In English it is known as lake of returned sword It’s one of the most famous tourist spot for visitors and hangout spot for locals The circumference of lake is paved for joggers. At evening lot of crowd gather at square near lake to enjoy the serene atmosphere with local music bands /individuals playing music. There are lot of vendors selling food to tourist No ticket required to visit here. There is a famous temple located at the islet in the lake reached via wooden bridge that lighted from evening. The lake is habitat to giant turtles ,few bodies of turtles are preserved and displayed in the temple. There is also a old tower at midst of lake. A must visit place in Hanoi.

Loved our morning stroll along Hoan Kiem Lake just around the old quarters. Beautiful view, fresh air, and plenty of space to walk as the paths are wider than the streets that most are used to. Came across a few runners, countless walking, and numerous couples, families, and friends opting for photography with this beautiful lake. Can't blame them! There is a bridge that requires some sort of entry fee to receive access but today we simply soaked in the experience. Locals clearly love to gather around this place too. A temple at the centre of the lake is within view. The greenery and garden surrounding the lake is so well taken care of. Saw several locals watering and caring for it during our stroll.

Such a magic place to visit, perfect for a casual walk after a feed or even to get some exercise in. Seeing the locals exercise around the lake gives you a feeling of happiness and calm. It's truely beautiful ✨️❤️

To have this lake in the middle of Hanoi is such a respite from the hustle bustle of the old quarters. It's breezy and calm, and seems to absorb all the frenzy within it. Love sitting by the lake on cloudy morning or breezy evenings and chewing away on my banh mi. Highly recommend to stay close the lake, preferably with lake facing views from hotels when visiting as a tourist.

This is a great site to go for a walk and see some of Hanoi. There are other sites nearby this lake, as well as a plethora of places to eat and drink.

Hoan Kiem Lake is the calm heart of Hanoi — a beautiful place to walk, relax, and enjoy the city’s atmosphere. Surrounded by trees, cafés, and local life, it’s especially charming in the evening when the lights reflect on the water. Peaceful, scenic, and a must-see in the Old Quarter.

A very cool experience! It’s quite serene and unique - going with the row boat through the river, through a cave and then into an open space, surrounded by mountains. The ladies rowing the boat are farmers I am told and after their work, they do this as an additional hustle. They row with their feet which is a sight to see, they’re quite experienced. Be warned! And be ready for them to hard sell you trinkets and souvenirs when they reach the end of the river (before turning back). We didn’t bring any money but we felt almost hijacked when she wouldn’t move the boat until she was truly convinced we couldn’t buy anything. The other boats did the same thing, stopped the boat for about 10 minutes until someone bought something (or couldn’t). It detracted from the overall good experience from the row boat ride. We tipped her generously at the end when we were done and back in land where the money was available but we shouldn’t have been held “hostage” for quite a bit of time with the rower giving us a disapproving and unhappy, sour look because we couldn’t buy her trinkets.

We booked a day tour to Ninh Binh using klook. We were picked up from our hotel in the morning around 8 am. From hoi an ancient town to pagoda to lunch and then to tam coc island for a boat ride. It was quite sunny and the boat ride is roughly 1.5 hrs. It was quite hot and you need to carry googles, hat, sunscreen to avoid getting sun burnt. Carry water bottles too. The boat ride is good and quite scenic. You will pass through paddy fields and under the cave and a bridge but just take precautions with the sun. Two people on one boat and they paddle using their feet. Dinh bay and 2-3 small bays pass by. Tam Coc boat tour is a boat trip through the scenic karst landscape of Ninh Binh province, Vietnam, often called "Inland Halong Bay". Local rowers guide you in traditional sampan boats through rivers winding between rice paddies and under limestone mountains, passing through three natural caves called "Tam Coc" (Three Caves). The tour can be booked as part of a day trip from Hanoi, which may also include cycling through rural villages and visiting historical sites like Hoa Lu Ancient Capital or Mua Cave, with options for private or small-group tours

This sightseeing combo was extremely beautiful. Loved it all and felt like we were in another world. The only reason for 4 stars is that our boat rower spent so much time trying to sell us crafts out of his bucket and then started asking for a tip long before the ride was over. Once we gave him one, he complained and asked for more. It was very off putting and took away from the beautiful landscape that we were trying to take in.

The view, cave, rock and river themselves are naturally beautiful. This place is unique during the rice ripening season. Recommend to go early to beat the crowd. Sadly nature outweighs the messy service and rude, greedy, narrow-minded attitude of the vast majority of boatmen here. You can’t enjoy the boat on your own but need to fill the group of at least 4 people. The boat woman seems friendly and responded to your questions, but stopped only at Khe Gioi ravine for photos. She was impatient and wanted us to leave early. She described her poor family situation and persuaded us to buy embroidered frames. She also asked for tip by the end and sold the embroidered things double the price. Don’t believe their words, their acting and don’t buy anything. Actually the local people themselves are ruining the experience. I’ll never come back because of their attitude. Just enjoy nature if you love it.

I had an amazing experience exploring the area. The boat ride through the limestone mountains and expansive rice fields was incredibly peaceful, and the scenery was breathtaking at every turn. The guides were friendly, helpful, and informative, which made the visit feel personal and engaging. Even though it was a popular spot, it never felt overcrowded, making the experience truly memorable.

We visited on a very rainy day but in the end it was probably an advantage as there weren’t many people there. The walk up to the entrance is not for everyone but we took our time and made it. Inside the cave is spectacular with some of the best stalactites and stalagmites I’ve seen. The cavern is massive and I recommend walking all the way to the end. The most impressive thing is that there was phone signal in there! Amazing.

We did this as apart of a full day tour, we would really recommend paradise cave if you are in the area. They provide a buggy service to the base of the hill. There is then a sloped 10-20 minute walk to the entrance of the cave (toilets near the top with clear signs). At the entrance there is a place to sit with fans if needed and you can buy cold drinks. The cave itself is very impressive compared to other caves that we have seen, the inside is massive!

Very underrated The cave is enormous, u will be caught attention of this place by the coolness, the blow of the wind at the entrance of this cave. Massive chambers, extraordinary stalactites show case the true beauty of this landscape. You will spend a hour to experience and take photos of this cave, very stunning. The wood walkway are well designed, help the tourists to reach the end of the case, or have a great spot for photos Before reaching the cave, u have to walk for about 15 mins. But thanks to the human made stairs, it help the visitors alot

There are better places. Paradise Cave itself is breathtaking—a true natural wonder that deserves respect and preservation. Sadly, the overall experience is undermined by how it’s managed. Tickets are quite expensive for what you get. After purchasing, you can take an electric golf cart to the trailhead, then hike about 500m uphill to reach the cave entrance. While the cave is worth the effort, the way it’s operated takes away from the experience. We didn’t join any tour, but it was clear that the company running the cave prioritizes quantity over quality. They schedule too many tours at the same time, causing congestion and chaos inside the cave. To make matters worse, many visitors block the narrow walkways to take endless photos and group pictures, which only adds to the crowding and frustration. Instead of the peaceful, awe-inspiring experience you’d expect, it often feels stressful and overwhelming. The atmosphere is loud, unorganized, and lacks any real crowd control. It’s disappointing to see such an extraordinary place treated more as a money-making venture than a site to be protected and appreciated. Paradise Cave is stunning and absolutely worth seeing—but be prepared for high ticket prices, overcrowding, and inconsiderate behavior that take away from its natural beauty.

Great cave with awesome high cathedral like ceilings, some great stalagmites. Were the names are given, particularly look out for the “jade rabbit” Be aware it’s a long walk uphill to the cave entrance and a very long walk in the cave itself with lots of steps, so only for the reasonably fit.

🪨 Paradise Cave – Stunning & Peaceful Visited with Sovaba Tours from Hue, and it was absolutely worth the long trip! Our guide Victor was amazing — local, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area and the caves. He took great care of the group. Paradise Cave is huge, quiet, and beautifully lit. The limestone formations are incredible — walking inside feels like entering a natural cathedral. Peaceful and awe-inspiring. Highly recommend visiting, and if you can, go with Sovaba and ask for Victor!

We loved exploring paradise cave! It is a bit of a hike to get up there so wear good shoes. It can also get very slippery inside, we saw someone fall down so use the handrails and watch your step. It was a really great experience overall.

Yes it's a nice place. Water is cold, but in low season there are places to sit. It's also safe enough or I was lucky to find my belongings still there after going for a dip. There are lockers for a price and also life jackets if you don't swim. The current is moderate and the jump from the tree is a bit scary but super fun.

We paid a small entry fee to access this place and we thought it www great value for money. The lagoon was beautiful and the jumps were also fun, they had plenty of places to sit down and also some places selling food which was great. We went in the week and didn’t find it busy. The caves are also a good addition to this place but are quite difficult to get to; the steps aren’t normal ones they are quite dangerous but if relatively fit you should be fine.

Lovely little lagoon, everyone we spoke to said it was so busy when they went but when we went it seemed like we were the only ones in the water. Cool platform to jump off of. Water level was too high to use the ropes. Nice and shaded though!

Visited the cave and the experience was amazing! You had to climb 120m which was not so steep, but some areas were. There was a bamboo pole you can hold to but be careful, some rocks were slippery. You need a torch to be able to see inside the cave. My kids enjoyed it. It was their first time cave exploring. The lagoon was nice too but we didn't try swimming on it. Maybe next time. 😊

A place where you literally have "blue water" A beautiful place for natural swimming, with fish swimming everywhere between you. Inside the premises there are several possibilities for lunch or coffee. One negative factor is that most of the tourists don't follow the water, they just stand everywhere and take pictures, sometimes they get in the way, there were a lot of them. You can also go to a beautiful cave, you will be offered a torch for 20,000 kip and they will tell you that you need it or you will not see anything. That's stupid, you don't need it. Overall, a nice place

This is a smaller lagoon but still worth a visit. It is quite built up around it there are many shops and restaurants. Entry costs 20K per person. There isn’t a lot to do other than swim at this lagoon apart from a raised platform to jump from. There are lots of fish in the water too which is cool to watch. There is also a cave on the site but we did not visit.

Cool spot, lots of things to do! In the lagoon, if u look closely, there's some fishes in the water, u can feed. U can also swim with them too, but they snack on your feet a bit. Not everyone likes that. Water super refreshing, worth the bite tho. Quite rocky gravel everywhere, no shoes = ouch. One can also jump from jumping thingy, like 8m high to the lagoon, quite sick, not gonna lie Only con - slack line didn't work :c Cave - woah, the biggest and most awesome one I've been to. Take a head torch with u or rent it at the bottom (20k), possible to do without shoes but hella slippery

A must-visit place in Vientiane because it is beautiful and elegant with rich history and stories. It also serves as a small galley to tell the story and history behind it once you purchase the ticket and walk inside and all the way to the top. The view on the top is incredible. Beautiful building with some interesting history which you can read about inside when you climb up. The view from the top is great, you can see all of Vientiane. Also if you come at the right time, the music will start playing and the fountains start to dance along to the music - I think it may be around 4pm or 4:30pm.

Of course, a must see place in Vientiane, so why then are there SO few visitor who are prepared to pay the small fee to enter？It's half the cost of a coffee in Vientiane... 🤔 It's worth the price, not only for the spectacular views, but also because of the history panels on tbe upper floors which shows its evolution and also provides other supplementary cultural and historical information. Interestingly, some of these are mounted on exposed walls so you can actually see the structure; a great touch. Only downsides were noisy locals and their unruly offspring who running around and touching the panels, the fact the place smelt like a Grab taxi, and the utter ignorance of ”Alex and Serein“ who, thinking their ancestors colonial acts were not bad enough chose to deface a national monument... well done you, your parents must be so proud of how they raised you.

The zoo is very pretty , fun and really big . Had an amazing time with my family . I recommend rent the golf cart which will make your trip even more exciting. Highly recommend to those who want to have close encounters with animals. You can buy feed for the giraffes, elephants , deer , capybara and experience feeding them . We had a wonderful day . Great zoo, a good place to spend the whole day. We bought a tour in Pattaya. Very huge territory. It's hard to understand on your first visit and impossible to walk around everything. Be sure to use the shuttles in the area or rent golf carts. I definitely recommend it! We fed lemurs, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, deer and a lion!

The entrance can be confusing as a foreign visitor. I prebooked a ticket on Klook, then had to redeem it at the small white house a short walk from the entrance. Then I could return to the entrance and turn in that receipt. Zoo is a bit run down but the animals are interesting! I walked but ran out of steam pretty quickly. The tram and golf carts look like great options because you can stop and get off and on frequently. Lots of bathrooms and snack places. Souvenirs aren’t great but they are available.

I only gave 3 stars as it states it's an Open Zoo, it is for some animals, but others are kept in cramped caged areas. You can rent a self drive Golf cart or small tuk tuk to get around (recommended) as it is spread out over a vast area, too hot and humid to walk around. There are public trams that make the rounds, you can hop on/off, but of course have no control of where you're going. Bolt taxi from Pattaya was around £5 each way, a bargain considering the distance. The carts and tuk tuks are also very cheap to rent.

This place is wildly fun! For the first half of it. You can rent a golf cart and zip around and for the second half you can take a vehicle to get from exhibit to exhibit. There is so much more there than just one adorable, fantastic, feisty little hippo. Go for Moo Deng, stay for everything else! So great!

One of the best zoos that keep animals feel at their homes. Although people are drawn by superstar Moo Deng, but this place has a lot to offer. You can spend one whole day comfortably and it worths your time.

It was a wonderful experience for me and my family. We rented a golf cart and explored the zoo at our own pace, enjoying the beautiful sights throughout the visit.

The area is beautiful, consists of 7 waterfalls. There are golf carts that can help you get to the first few levels, but after that you're on your own. It is definitely a hike and you need to be ready to walk/trek and the path is not smooth. You can swim normally in some of the waterfalls, some only with a life jacket (which you can rent) and some you cannot swim at all. I recommend renting a life jacket and swimming in the earlier levels, as level 7 is the "pinnacle", but there are small fish there that keep biting you, and no one was comfortable swimming in level 7. I wish they sold snacks/drinks at the higher levels, because after the early levels there is nothing but the watefalls, and they take your food/drinks at that checkpoint. It's beautiful, requires a lot of physical effort, and it was rather underwhelming overall. Pictures are better than the reality. If you want to save money, stay in Kanchanaburi and just take a bus or a grab to Erawan.

Stunning. Some of the most beautiful falls I've ever seen. To see all 7 levels is quite a hike but accessible to most. Well worth the walk. The lower 3 levels take very little effort and are fantastic.

My first and last nationalpark in this country! What is this a waterpark or a protected area for wildlife? Luckily i saw some wildlife otherwise it would be a complete disappointment.As a waterpark great i guess especially for families for all nature lovers avoid. Should had spend the time and money for a thai massage . P.s. Tourists who visit my country don't need to pay more for the same attractions as locals.Really shameful.

This is a truly stunning waterfall. There are seven levels, so be sure to bring good hiking shoes, as you'll feel like you're hiking all the time, and there are quite a few steep steps. It feels like you're climbing a mountain. Food and drinks are available for purchase, but you'll need to purchase a coupon. Life jackets are also available for those who want to swim. There are always staff on hand to assist. It was quite a lot of people , but it's well worth it.

Great hike up to 7 levels of beautiful waterfalls. I went there with my gf and my son and we all loved it. Make sure to take breaks to swim in the water. Free fish massage included.

The Sanctuary of Truth is absolutely breathtaking. The entire building is made of intricately carved wood, and seeing the craftsmanship up close is incredible. The guided tour was informative and helped explain the symbolism behind the design. The seaside location adds a peaceful atmosphere, and the photos came out amazing. There is some ongoing construction, but it actually makes the experience even more interesting since you can watch artisans working in real time. Overall, one of the most unique and memorable attractions in Pattaya. Highly recommended!

If you ever go to Pattaya, This place is a must visit. You may think it's just a temple but once you look at it with your own eyes, you will change your perspective about it. The art in the temple is commendable. Every inch here makes you wonder. Can't even imagine how they made it all the way. Most importantly they never used any concrete or civil joining items to make this temple, it's just wooden joint technique which holds this massive temple. Even 6 hours won't be enough to admit it's architecture beauty. Must must must visit place, never miss it.

Absolutely stunning! The Sanctuary of Truth is one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever visited. The entire structure is hand-carved wood, and every corner has incredible detail and symbolism. It feels more like stepping into a living piece of art than visiting a temple. If you’re in Pattaya, this is a must-visit.

I would have given 4 starts if it was not so expensive! This used to be free as it should be for a place of worship and not exploiting the tourists. 500 baht is a very big amount! All the temples are using the tourists to make big money. I would understand reasonable entrance fee but 14 euro is too much! Also the staff is hustle and you are obligated to go via a tour guide and special hours with your chosen language. We preferred to see the place on our own and in peace. Also very expensive restaurant. They even charged us 10 baht for ice in our very overpriced drinks we bought. All the statues are half naked but people are obligated to cover up, this part we did not get at all.

Any trip to Pattaya is not complete if one doesn’t visit the Sanctuary of Truth Museum. It’s an astonishingly beautiful structure which is made entirely of wood and has wonderful sculptures and wooden carvings inside teaching the visitors the philosophy of life. One can also try out the Thai Traditional costume for an hour and take pictures. There are different activities within the vicinity of this museum that visitors can try like feeding the animals, horse riding, boating etc and also a number of cafés and restaurants to satisfy your food cravings, as well as a souvenir shop if one wants to buy souvenirs.

An amazing structure which is well worth the visit. A one hour tour but you could spend another 2-3 hours admiring the architecture and carvings. There are food stalls and foot massages available and an amazingly tranquil river next to the temple grounds to have a nice meal and drink while soaking in the atmosphere. It was quite a trip from Bangkok city but well worth the effort to view it. Only drawback is that they have animal rides in the form of horses and elephants and I feel sad for the forlorn looking animals made to serve so that their masters can earn some money. Temple wise - it's absolutely majestic. From the same people who designed the awesome White Temple in Chiangrai.

Must visit place in Thailand. Its completly built by wooden. Includes indian, chinese and thai culture and history carvings. I recomend every one to visit this. Entry fee is really woth and dont miss to wear full dress for ladis (Shoulders and knees should be covered) no shorts for boys (to wear full pant). If you come with short dress you will have to refundable deposit of 200 thb and get the cloth for boys and girls.

If you are three lover and interested in knowing different varieties of tree plants, flowers, this is the place for you to go. It’s huge categorised in proper manner. Be ready to walk more. Spend time over there or else you can just take a tour from outside (you won’t be able to see much from outside). The elephant show place is also nearby, so if you are planning to go over there, then take little extra time to visit there as well. It can be a day affair.

The one of the best tour scene for foreigners. It’s not only the gardens, but there are so many artistic works on the walking zones. We encountered the heavy rain during the day which, however, we were dry due to covered sky gardens. The food in the cafeteria was good and the drink is perfect made. The dinosaur zone is vivid and educational. Amazing that I never saw such around the world. The best price, of course are comprehensive one in the world. In the addition the folk dance show as well as the elephant show are so well organized, and the elephants are well trained and so awesome in that and very entertaining. I would recommend to come next time with the kids or grandkids. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough time to finish all to comers. I highly recommend to everybody who stays few days in Pattaya.

For the show in the theater, only the first part of it worth seeing, showing about the traditional Thai provience clothing's and dance. The second part is some old pop song with fancy dancers. Other places of this garden is too big to walk, although you can take the sightseeing mini bus, but only you will see some concrete dino and animal statue. Food inside is good and cheap, no worries.

As much as garden is impressive and I really enjoyed visiting it, I didn't realise they keep elephants on hand and they let people ride them. I cannot watch cruelty like that! I got really upset when I saw staff member training young elephant to be ridden on and was hitting it with a stick in the head. Poor animals so abused and frightened. Garden might be the most amazing, I post photos, but I will never visit it again. Not contributing to animal cruelty

Great walk. Please note its 400baht no atm etc nearby so you need take cash. The walk is great this is my second time here. The pool where you can swim does get very busy so i highly recomend leaving very early they say it opens from 10 but when we got there there were already heaps of people walking back i would say try and get there around 9am min. Also do the full walk past the swimming area to the blue pool its a great walk and worth the visit since while your there. No many people do it so its relaxing and only takes 15min enjoy

A place for nature lovers. A little bit far from Krabi but good to go there. You walk about 1 km from the entrance to emerald pool and you can walk more to the blue pool. Everything is beautiful. You feel the jungle. Its worth the effort.

We got there 10 minutes before opening (which is at 8:30) but they let us in anyway. There are 2 routes to the emerald pool, one scenic through the swamp (1000m) and one following the road (800m). We had the pool for almost ourselves for about 20 min, then it got busy real quick. The rocks are extremely slippery but the water is very pleasant. Blue pool opens later and it is another few hundred meters walk to get there.

So pretty, you have the choice of taking a nature walk to see all three pool or to take a straight road to the emerald pool, the nature path is 1km and the straight path is 800m, I personally reccomend taking the nature path and taking your time, the walk itself is beautiful and you get to see all the pools before having a nice swim in the emerald pool. It's also close to the hot springs that you can enjoy on your day trip

This place is pure paradise. The water is a stunning emerald green and crystal clear, and there's a unique hot waterfall that cascades into a natural pool. The walk to get there is just as amazing, taking you along a comfortable path through a lush, vibrant green jungle. It's a breathtaking and memorable experience that I highly recommend.

We booked a ferry from Krabi to Railey Beach. There is a little booth near the docks that sell the tickets and tell you the hours that the ferries run. Once a wooden dragon boat is full it heads out. The boat ride was awesome. Open air and smooth. It was one of my favorite parts island hopping during our trip. When we arrived we wondered until we found a hotel that served breakfast. There was a reasonably priced buffet and we ate there. We spent a few hours at the beach, swimming and enjoying the sun. We saw the rain coming and decided to head to bar and grab a drink. Overall it was a great day, and I highly recommend.

We took long tail boat from Ao Nang at 8:30. We were there before 8:00 but if a group came, they had priority. It was a bit chaotic how the boatmen were organizing the boats. After 30 min we could board. It took 15min and cost 100bhat per person. We were 12 on the boat. When coming back there was 1 more couple waiting. Each of us paid 200 baht and we could go immediately back. West Railay beach is nice with stunning views. Inside the “village” it’s already a bit messy. To go there for 1-day trip ok but I wouldn’t stay there for longer. For cat lovers just check the pictures 😻

Really gorgeous beaches, yummy food, wildlife, and almost everything you need. Cool hippie vibes by the west side. I enjoyed the place and was only there for a few hours. Would love to come back and stay on this side of Krabi for a few days.

Beautiful spot. The swim area towards the cliff has a quite rocky bottom and is shallow at low tide. Further towards the boats the bottom has far more sand and is a nicer walk out to swim.

Railay beach is so beautiful. Especially during the sunset days. They have beautiful long tail boats and the scenery looks wonderful. You can get the long tail boats from Ao Nang to Railay Beach at 200 return. Last boat is at 6.30 PM. Get a boat so you will catch the sunset.

Gorgeous beach but recommend carrying beach shoes to avoid getting hit by rocks especially when going for a swim. The water is nice and warm and sandy patches are good on the beach.

Kayaked here from railay beach, in about 20mins! Beautiful and secluded, blazed a huge J under some beautifully positioned palm trees etc for some well needed shade. The water was beautiful, clear and warm and definitely worth the kayak trip to this beach! Also possible to explore both the caves at either end of this beach so well worth spending a day here if coming from Ao Nang.

It takes 40 minutes to walk from Railway beach. It is much nicer than Railway beach. Along the way, you get to see some interesting rock formations and there is a rope you can climb (need appropriate footwear, as it is muddy and slippery) but there is a nice viewpoint and a lagoon at the top. Once you arrive at the beach, you can see monkeys and some lizards. People rock climb there too which is interesting to watch

incredible visit at Lanta Animal Welfare centre. the work done here is incredibly important, and you can tell everyone who works here from the hosts to the volunteers are passionate about what they do, and rehabilitate animals in need aswell as providing much needed vaccinations and sterilisations to other animals all across thailand. the tour itself was super informative and interesting, going into the history of the center aswell as the logistics of caring for so many animals. a must visit if you love animals and want to support an amazing charity. Marika was the best host!

The Lanta Animal Welfare Visitor Centre is an amazing Organisation which is doing an amazing job at rehabilitating cats and dogs. They also have programs to sterilise and vaccinate the freeroaming animals on Koh Lanta. During the tour you get to see the cats, the dogs, learn about the history and even get a look into the intensive care unit. Afterwards you can continue to play with the cats and buy merch. All the profits go to keeping the centre open. Definitely worth a visit.

Great and important place to visit in Lanta! This organisation does really amazing things and the tour gives you a lot of information about what they do in detail. If you are thinking about adopting a dog there are options to rescue these beautiful pups too!

I came here twice, once in the morning to visit the refuge and the next day for the cooking class, everything was great!! I wanted to thank in particular the two guides, Noi and… unfortunately, I've forgotten the first name of the guide at the refuge (a tall, dark-haired man from UK :)) Thank you for all your explanations, your kindness, and above all, your passion. And of course thanks to the whole team for working in such a helpful place for animals, and thank for putting such wonderful things in place :) I don't know if I'll ever return to Koh Lanta, but if I do, I'll come back to visit the animals a third time!

Such an amazing experience , The team are incredible and so lovely. The tour itself is very informative and really interesting to learn about what the welfare sanctuary do both in koh lanta and in mobile units .As well as obviously getting the opportunity to meet super cute animals. I highly recommend for such a cheap price as a lovely morning experience. If I had the time to do the cooking class I definitely would as they put all the money you pay back into the welfare centre. What the team do here is amazing, a definite visit in koh lanta.

Long hike up the hill. Well worth it when you get there. Spectacular views of koh phi phi. Nice café at top to rest,refresh and take advantage of such great vistas. Café very reasonable prices,nice to see not taking advantage of tourists in anyway. Will not disappoint doing the walk up there.

A lookout point situated high up from where you can see phi phi don, maya bay, krabi in the distance. The view point opens at 5:30 am and last entry is somewhere around 6:30 pm. It has an entry fee of 50 baht. The climb is really steep rapidly gaining altitude. It’s a mix of stairs and slopes and at the end you have a viewing deck. You can expect a lot of crowd during the sunset time. There is also a cafe at the view point. There is photography service available at the top but it’s only during the day. Sunset from here is very picturesque. Sun sets behind the hills of phi phi and the sea changes it’s colours from turquoise to deep blue to Orange and then deep red within a few minutes.

Being the highest and hardest to get viewpoint of the three, this hidden gem doesn’t get the same numbers of visitors but offers by far the most stunning and beautiful view. I definitely recommend taking the hike and going for it.

Comparing to Viewpoint 1 and 2 it’s nothing special. The way to the viewpoint is dirty with rubbish. But you can see a bit of Thai village on the other hand. In my opinion, not worth climbing there if you are already on viewpoint 2 which is the best. To enter viewpoint 3 you need to pay 30 baht person and remove your shoes.

Beautiful day trip to Koh Rok and Koh Ha Cost was around 3000 THB but it was worth it. The speedboat took around 40 mins to reach the first snorkelling site. There were 4 snorkelling diving sites with crystal clear water you would have ever seen. Full lunch on the island and return back to base and drop to hotel everything was included. I would highly recommend this

We absolutely loved our 4-hour tour of Kilim Geoforest Park — it was the perfect blend of adventure, nature, and fun for the entire family. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless and captivating. Our journey started at the Bat Cave, where we explored fascinating limestone formations and got an up-close look at the bats in their natural habitat — both eerie and exciting! The kids were intrigued and amazed, especially with the little torchlight adventure through the cave. Then came one of the biggest highlights: snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. It was truly magical! We even had the chance to feed the fish while snorkeling, and it was such a marvelous experience — the moment we began offering food, we were surrounded by colorful fish gently swimming around us. The kids were beyond excited, laughing as the fish got close, creating a moment we’ll all remember. We wrapped up with a relaxing stop at the floating restaurant. Though we weren’t very hungry, we enjoyed some fresh juices, and the kids happily munched on French fries. It was a peaceful spot to unwind, feed the fish in the enclosed pools, and just enjoy the serene surroundings. Tips for future visitors: • Bring enough water and snacks for the kids — the excitement and sun can tire them out quickly. • Take some bread with you — perfect for feeding the fish, both while snorkeling and at the restaurant. • Don’t forget sunscreen — you’ll be out in the sun quite a bit, especially during snorkeling. • Bring your own snorkeling gear if you have it. Otherwise, you can rent equipment on-site. Overall, Kilim Geoforest Park gave us a beautiful mix of adventure, education, and fun. A fantastic experience for families — we’ll definitely be back!

Our guide was very knowledgeable, explaining the park’s ecosystem, mangrove trees, and wildlife in detail. We got to see eagles swooping down to catch fish, monkeys near the riverbanks, and even some bats resting in the dark caves. The stop at the Bat Cave and the floating fish farm was really interesting and added variety to the trip. The boat ride itself was smooth and enjoyable, winding through narrow mangrove passages and opening up into wide lagoons with turquoise water. It’s also a great spot for photography — every turn offers a postcard-perfect view! What makes Kilim Geoforest Park truly special is how it combines nature, education, and adventure in one experience. Amazing experience. Lots of activities like fish farming, eagle spotting and feeding, lil tour in the Andaman. There are more options to explore too like kayaking, bat caves etc. The boat rides are available as shared option or private boats too. The boat driver explains everything so carefully. Totally recommend. Depending on your time, you could select time duration too but that may not be possible in case you take shared ride option.

Really beautiful mangroves. We got to spend time enjoying the mangroves by kayak and seeing the eagles. We also saw a monkey and 2 snakes which I was less thrilled about and when we were at the floating restaurant there was a family of otters frolicking nearby. Humans ruin the bat cave by not following the rules as there were people talking VERY loudly and shining bright lights everywhere despite the sign at the entrance saying not to do these things.

No regrets to join the 2 hours mangrove tour. Bought the tickets through kilim website. Is a great , amazing and wonderful experience! The boatman is friendly and explained everything in details. Enjoy it a-lot and highly recommend to visit this!

We enjoyed our visit here. However there were a few issues. We wanted to see the crocodile cave as we thought there were crocodiles in there. But we came to know that there was a small cave with some crocodile-shale rocks. Even we could not see that since there was tide in the water and we even didn't go inside the cave. But we paid for this. Also, we went for snorkeling. It was too short. Around 15 minutes and the water was so unclear that nothing was visible. See the video attached. The boat man, though, was very friendly and helpful explained a lot about everything and we enjoyed. The fish farm was nothing insteresting. So small and not many fish. All normal and we didn't find anything interesting

Must do . It's has some amazing views. Take a private one for 4 hours. It's great. Didn't like Fish farming much as it was very smelly. Mangrove and bat caves were good and so was eagle watching. Visit to beach is a must do in Andaman ocean . Do visit the UNESCO heritage cave which is just 20 steps walk. It's scary but it's a good visit. Do checkout the sleeping beauty bed. It's a secret. And do read the mystical story of Chinese queen and rome prince . You will see a walk path made in middle of ocean joining beach. DO NOT Walk on the boat platform . It extremely slippery and there is no support to save you from getting inside ocean. I almost lost my balance. Do not walk on platform at end of walk. Posted pic for your reference .

Amazing experience at the Langkawi Cable Car! This is one of the absolute must-do attractions in Langkawi. The cable car ride offers breathtaking views of the entire island, the lush green rainforest, and the turquoise waters below. The ride itself is smooth and takes you all the way up to the top of Gunung Mat Cincang — the second-highest peak in Langkawi. We bought the standard gondola tickets, which cost around RM 43 per adult and RM 33 per child, but there are also glass-bottom gondolas and VIP options if you want a different experience. The queue can get long during weekends or holidays, so it’s better to come early in the morning. Once at the top, the Sky Bridge is simply stunning! Walking across it feels surreal with the clouds floating around you. There are also several small cafes and viewing decks where you can take great photos. The 3D Art Museum and Oriental Village at the base are worth exploring too, making it a half-day activity easily. Overall, the Langkawi Cable Car is totally worth the price — well maintained, safe, and offers unbeatable views. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Langkawi!

An easy drive from wherever you are on the island. Plenty of public parking. Tickets are steep for what you actually get but Malaysians enjoy a discounted rate. Views from the cable cars are really really nice, especially the views of the waterfalls. I liked the actual cable car ride but was not impressed with the wait times for the skyglide (for the skybridge). You will spend more time waiting for the carriage than actually walking the skybridge itself. Also, the skybridge is a lot smaller than i envisioned. Still an enjoyable afternoon spent there. Walk around the shops and indulge in some ice cream after.

Smooth and easy experience – I visited on a Sunday afternoon with no crowds and almost no waiting time. Tickets cost ~85 RM on site (buying online can be cheaper and lets you book glass-bottom or VIP gondolas). The 10-minute ride offers stunning views over waterfalls, jungle and the Andaman Sea. At 708m above sea level, the top station has 360° panoramas, cafés and the option to add the Sky Bridge. Clean facilities, friendly staff, and an uplifting energy overall. The Langkawi SkyBridge Cable Car is absolutely incredible — easily one of the best things to do on the island. The ride up is stunning, with amazing views over the jungle, waterfalls, and coastline. It’s high, smooth, and genuinely breathtaking. At the top, the views are unreal — you’re literally above the clouds at times. The SkyBridge itself is impressive and worth walking across for the full experience. The weather changes quickly up there, which actually makes it more dramatic — one minute sunshine, the next mist swirling around you. Everything was well organised and felt safe. We went in October and it wasn’t too crowded, which made it even better. A must-do in Langkawi.

Visited the Sky Bridge, Sky Walk or Eagle's nest, and Sky Cab in Langkawi, and it was honestly one of the most breathtaking experiences ever. The cable car ride up was thrilling, with stunning views of the rainforest, waterfalls, and the blue ocean stretching out endlessly. Walking along the Sky Bridge and Sky Walk felt surreal - the view from up there is simply out of this world! You can literally see the clouds drifting by. I recently visited the SkyCab in Langkawi and, overall, it is a beautiful attraction with stunning scenery and a memorable experience. I’ve enjoyed the cable car experience in Genting Highlands as well, and Langkawi’s views are equally breathtaking on a clear day. However, I would like to gently highlight one point for consideration. During my visit, the weather turned rainy and quite stormy, and the cabin began swaying noticeably from side to side. Many passengers — myself included — felt very scared. In addition, the cabin was dripping, and rainwater was entering inside, which added to the discomfort. Because of the heavy rain and fog, it was also difficult to appreciate the view or see anything outside. I went on the SkyCab based on the assumption that if it was open, conditions were safe. However, safety should always come first. We should not put anyone’s safety at risk in order to maintain operations or benefit financially from tourism. With this in mind, I believe it may be worth considering temporarily closing the SkyCab during bad weather conditions, just as the SkyBridge is closed during strong winds or rain. I say this with full respect and understanding, as the attraction is otherwise exceptional.

Haven’t been to such an happening beach in my life. This has a totally different vibe. The fire show was amazing along with the music.

Nice beach with a long coastline, so nice for walks! It can get nousy from the jet skis so we stayed always at the end of the beach where it’s quieter. There are some jellyfish and all of them are typical normal round ones, most of them are in the low tide. We also had a vinger always with us in case somebody gets stung - that’s the 1st aid which is always nice to have with you if there can be jellyfish. I got stung once, didn’t hurt much, put straight some vinegar on yhe burn, all was good.

Cute island, beautiful beaches. Visited in heavy rain for 4 days. Streets flooded, dirty water and garbage everywhere. Touristy vibe. 7/11 prices +35% from Bangkok, pretty much same with everything else. Cute cat was living on my balcony. 1 extra star for that.

Impressive, mesmerising, spectacular and breathtaking. Perfect island getaway to rejuvenate. Regardless where or which hotel/resort you stay, it is advisable to arm yourself with mosquito repellant. As long as you remain at tourists area, all is nice. While walking pass the local areas, it is deplorable, and strewn with rubbishes.

First of all my family visited Koh Lipe 15 years ago so feel we can give a better summary of how the island has changed. Really upsetting, seeing how Koh Lipe has become. Lots of rubbish everywhere. Just a general lack of respect for an island of such natural beauty. I wouldn’t come back anytime soon. Lots of long tail boats in huge numbers moored (tied) up along the beach so unsafe to swim. Which have damaged most of the shallow water corals. Sunrise beach had lots of sharp pieces of broken glass, shells and corals. We wore shoes on the beach as didn’t want to risk cutting our feet. There is only small sections on the island that you can enjoy a cleaner beach with less boats. Walking street, ironic name as you are dogging motorcycles most of the time! Island is full of flies due to the insufficient waste management. So during any meal you are harassed by flies, be it at the restaurants or breakfast at the hotel. People are smoking cigarettes and cannabis in all public areas. So if you are a non smoker or a family with children this won’t be a pleasant experience. Since people can smoke anywhere and there no designated smoking area. And of course you pay the National Park fee before you arrive at the island which is x10 more for foreigners than locals naturally! Which appears that none of that money is going to good use.

It is a very suitable place for relaxation. The weather is good in the summer. There is a lot of food to choose from.

I came back after 7 years and it was such a disappointment. There’s rubbish everywhere, and it’s really sad to see how this beautiful island has ended up like this. Snorkeling or diving makes it even worse — watching fish eat plastic is heartbreaking.

Mass tourism is devastating what was once a paradise, leaving this tiny island overwhelmed and unable to cope with such overwhelming numbers 💔 The island is now unbearably overcrowded, with no proper trash management, and local communities suffer amidst environmental degradation and poverty. I also wonder where the 200-baht national park fee goes, as it clearly isn’t being used to maintain the area. It’s heartbreaking to witness, and I’d advise against visiting—choose a less crowded island instead.

This is an interesting place to visit whether you're a history buff or not. It allowed me to peek into the lifestyle of the wealthy Nonya family. Looking at the artefacts and portraits was fun enough, but I would have loved it more if detailed descriptions and explanations were given on signs and boards. As it is now, the visitor has to piece everything together without being given a congruent story. Nonetheless, the mansion is beautiful and the musical show is very cute.

RM30 is the entry fee per person. Self-guided tours are available throughout the day. We bought the entry ticket after reaching there. Can spend 2 hours. Beautiful Mansion , 2 levels and multiple rooms to watch and see. Can get crowded and the family prayer room in the back has a disconcerting feeling. Must visit which gives a glimpse into Peranakan life and the grandeur. Thoroughly enjoyed it. And lot of photo spots to get good pictures. Only negative was the airconditioning inside the mansion and it got so stuffy to be inside which ruined the experience. Other than that, definitely recommended if you are in Georgetown.

I have visited many Peranakan museums in Singapore, Malacca and now here in Penang for the first time. One of the best kept Peranakan museum I have seen so far. Well designed mansions including family altar and very huge kitchen space that they turned into restaurant and even theatre. Many exhibits were a time piece of their time, trapped in the space of time so that we can visit and relate. Included art piece, kitchenware, furnitures, and even well taken photographs. Certainly the building made a good spot for photography and can see the many patrons who donned Nonya clothing and employed photographers to take good shot. Love the museum!!

Interesting tour of the mansion, was highly impressed with the English speaking tour guide, he was engaging and knowledgable. You can pay for a tour and spend as much time as you wish after exploring the rooms which is a nice touch. The tour lasts approx. 40-45 minutes. The only reason I didn’t score 5/5 was because the exhibits felt a bit modernised in places and the waiting area was very hectically managed.

An excellent place to understand the early 19th century Chinese peranakan culture, architecture and arfetacts. Open daily from 9am to 5pm. Visitors even can rent the nyonya costume for photos shotting. Impressive with the Jewelry display as well. Don't miss the antique selling hall for souvenir back.

Wonderful treasure trove of Peranakan artifacts. Amazing musuem guides who are passionate about the place. visitors are treated to a 40-minute song-dance-acting skit in the small auditorium, which is highly entertaining & engaging. The musuem shops are also interesting.

We visited this as Blue Mansion had no available spots. And it was beautiful piece of art and history. Highly recommended. There is option to rent traditional clothes for photos

So much of new development since I last came in August 2025. Tram service is good, organised, and efficient. Didn't have to wait for too long. The experience of going uphill and downhill in the tram is interesting. Once up there, you will be greeted with gentle and chill breeze, it's so refreshing. There are a few platforms for photo shooting and enjoying the view of penang island. A lot of souvenir stalls and there's a food courts where you can enjoy local delicacies. So many kid-friendly activities here. For this trip, I visited the Habitat, a reserve forest where u can take tour guide to bring you through the forest on the canopy bridge, it is well maintained and the scenery is just spectacular. We stayed here till sunset. What a perfect experience to enjoy the beauty of Penang.

Penang hill was literally the highlight of our visit to Penang island. The cable car ride and the view from the top are none to second. We were unfortunately late so we didn’t manage to visit the habitat which was a pity but maybe a good reason to come back.

Best place to overlook the whole Penang Island. We are lucky as it is low season in Nov and weekday, don’t need to wait too long for the cable car to go up. A refresh walk after raining too. 😌
