Qifeng Park (West Gate)

Qifeng Park, spanning 243 hectares, is a vast expanse featuring ancient and modern attractions such as the Huangqi Temple, Gate Tower, Qifeng Lake, and Qifeng Park Square. The park's Huangqi mountain is renowned as one of Dongguan's legendary sceneries. Notably, an ancient well within the park is believed to possess magical properties. Visitors can witness large groups engaging in dancercise at night in the plaza while enjoying epic Chinese opera performances.
Qifeng Park has walking paths, old lady dancing groups, hordes of kids, vendors, and a grueling stair climb to an overlook spot. The scenery was nice.

Nice park for exercise and people watching. At night in the plaza there are large groups of people dancercising. The hike up to the top will have you drenched in sweat, but there's epic Chinese opera playing on the loud speakers to motivate you.

This park in the middle of the city is a hidden gem. The traditional Chinese temples surrounded by nature create a peaceful atmosphere, yet it’s just steps away from the busy streets. Having direct metro access makes it super convenient to visit. It’s a perfect spot to take a walk, relax, or enjoy the cultural vibe without leaving the city center.

昂坪360纜車站

Mountain cable car
Sights & Landmarks
The Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car station, also known as Ngong Ping Cable Car, is a popular attraction on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. The cable car offers a breathtaking aerial tour over the verdant peaks of Lantau and the sparkling South China Sea. You can opt for a glass-bottomed gondola to enhance your experience. At the end of the ride, visitors can marvel at the colossal Tian Tan Buddha, one of the largest of its kind globally.
We opted for the **Ngong Ping 360 Crystal Cabin** (the one with the glass floor!) for our trip to the Tian Tan Buddha, and it was worth every penny—even though tickets were pricier than the standard cabin. The **zero wait time** was a huge plus; we walked straight onto the cable car, which made the splurge feel justified. The **360-degree panoramic views** of Hong Kong’s lush mountains, the South China Sea, and the airport were unforgettable. The glass floor added an extra thrill—floating above the landscape felt surreal! The ride itself was smooth and took about 25 minutes, giving us plenty of time to soak in the scenery and snap photos. Once at Ngong Ping Village, the **Big Buddha** was awe-inspiring. The serene atmosphere, paired with the nearby Po Lin Monastery, made for a perfect cultural half-day trip. **Heads up**: The Crystal Cabin tickets are significantly more expensive than regular ones, but if you’re seeking a unique, bucket-list-worthy experience (and hate waiting in lines), it’s a must-do. Just wear pants if you’re nervous about the glass floor—it’s a long way down! **Pro tip**: Book tickets online in advance to save time and check for combo deals with attractions at the village.
Jaseer A — Google review
Book your ticket online and arrive at your scheduled time. Simply present the QR code to the staff upon arrival. Although there was a fairly long line, the wait was minimal as the cable cars arrived frequently. The scenic views along the journey made it well worth the trip.
Worawut P — Google review
The ride takes around 25 minutes, we went on Sunday so the queue is quite long but it was moving fast (around 20 minutes wait). Great view of the landscape and the wind can go inside of the cable so it’s not too hot.
Proud P — Google review
The Ngong Ping 360, is a cable car to Lantau Island in Hong Kong. The 25-minute scenic journey connects the town of Tung Chung with the Ngong Ping area, with great views of the surrounding mountains, Hong Kong International Airport, and the South China Sea. It's pricey buy worth doing once and getting the bus back down. It drops you off at a touristy but nice souvenir selling village at the top next to the Buddhist monastery. The wait without a pre paid ticket even on a week day can be 90 minutes plus so buy one. The staff were very organised and efficient so the operation runs quite smoothly. Toilets are clean. Recommend doing it at least once.
Jay T — Google review
Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, Hong Kong One of the most beautiful cable car rides in Asia! 🌤️ Ngong Ping 360 offers breathtaking views from start to finish — from the sea and airport to the lush green mountains and the famous Big Buddha at the top. The ride feels peaceful, safe, and incredibly scenic. The crystal cabin (with glass floor) is highly recommended — it makes the experience even more exciting! 😍 The journey takes around 25 minutes, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the view and take amazing photos. At the top, the Ngong Ping Village is clean, organized, and full of local shops and cafés. 💡 Tip: Go early in the morning to avoid long queues, and check the weather for the clearest view. 🌤️
Hashem M — Google review
What an amazing experience!!! A 25 minute ride over water, lush green hills, past waterfalls, into the mountain to come out the other side seeing the Big Buddha and temple come into view. Then you are dropped off into a village to walk thru and explore this hidden gem in the mountains.
Cynthia H — Google review
Beautiful views, a must see. The Giant Buddha was amazing as we're the temples.
Gary K — Google review
Best way to see Hong Kong I took the Crystal Cabin up and Standard back and the glass floor was worth it for views of the airport and sea Bought tickets online and saved a long line the ride took about 25 minutes and drops you right by the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery I also walked the Wisdom Path staff were friendly and cabins were clean Recommend you go early on a clear day and prebook to skip lines also check wind and weather alerts as i read they can pause during high winds.

Lantau Island, the largest of Hong Kong's outlying islands, is a treasure trove of experiences waiting to be discovered. From the majestic Big Buddha and serene Po Lin Monastery accessible via a scenic cable car ride from Tung Chung, to the charming stilt houses of Tai O village, this island offers a unique blend of culture and nature.
Loved being here and it was a great experience. Make sure to take the cable car and get in the queue early on the weekends. The views from the cable car are fabulous. You can take a cab or a bus as well to get to the top but recommend the cable car for the onward or return journey. Up on the hill visiting the monastery and the Buddha statue was simply divine. Feel blessed to have visited. I must say that everything is so well organised and convenient. If you’re leaving HK and have a few hours, you can also do this and leave your luggage at the storage below. it’s so close and well connected to the airport. Best to spend half a day or more if you can. So many food choices as well and such well maintained and well managed facility.
Darpan M — Google review
I absolutely loved the cable car ride. It was beyond amazing and the view is breathtaking. I would do it over and over again. For the best experience take the crystal cabin with glass floor. Round trip per person is 315 HKD. When you enter the cabin one of staff will take your picture and once you arrive on the other side you will see it printed. The price for the picture is almost the price for the ride which is expensive. And you see most of gjr people not buying them which ends up in waste. They should reconsider their prices for the pictures I guess. Other than that it's a beautiful experience and I'll do it again.

If there is ever one place in Hong Kong that you must visit then it's lantau Island with the Beautiful Buddha. take the cable car up , climb all those stairs and appreciate the beautiful culture of the Chinese whilst looking at the beautiful hills and nature . now take a walk to the gorgeous temple and take a moment to reflect . after this stunning tour take a bus down to the coast and catch a super fast ship - Ferry to Kowloon . Your life will definitely be different after this tour - BTW - it's really cheap to do it yourself - ask the hotel Concierge
Andy { — Google review
There are 3 ways to get to the island - cable car (most expensive), bus (cheaper), or trek (cheapest). Each has its pros and cons - the cable car offers a spectacular view, but the trek is great fun and easy to do.

Lantau Island is the largest of Hong Kong's more than 250 islands. It is located to the west of Hong Kong Island and is almost twice its size at nearly 147 sq. kilometres. The island is mostly protected country park and rural lands and is considered a major 'green lung' of Hong Kong. It is also the location of Hong Kong International Airport and several major sightseeing venues and locations. Lantau is where you will find Hong Kong Disneyland, the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, Village and Giant Buddha. The island is also home to numerous historical fishing villages, most notably Tai O which is west of the town of Tung Chung. This is a neat heritage location and place to view the rare pink dolphins which reside in the coastal waters nearby. The island is also known for its beaches, particularly at the village of Mui Wo as well as the long and beautiful stretches of sandy shores at Cheung Sha. There are two country parks, Lantau North and Lantau South which protect nearly half of the island, encompassing numerous peaks, valleys, woodlands, coastline and HK's largest reservoir. The island also hosts some of Hong Kong's most popular hiking spots including the famous Sunset Peak Trail and the it 70-km Lantau Trail. While travel around Lantau Island is quite limited compared to Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula, there is regular and frequent transportation to the island by way of MTR, Airport Express, public buses as well as ferries to the village of Mui Wo in the south. There are limited accommodation options on Lantau with a few properties available at Mui Wo, Tai O and Tung Chung being the most accessible. You'll find restaurants, supermarkets, convenient stores and basic services such as banks and cash points at Mui Wo, Tung Chung and the Ngong Ping 360 Village and casual eateries and stores in other villages around the island in areas frequented by tourists.

Keyuan Garden, a historic garden dating back to the Qing Dynasty, is one of the four renowned gardens in Guangdong Province. With its traditional buildings, ponds, and bridges, it offers scenic paths for visitors to explore. The 19th-century Lingnan architecture and carp-filled waters make it a cultural treasure. Accessible by bus, this peaceful sanctuary provides a window into Dongguan's history and culture.
Excellent museum to visit and spend a few hours to see long history of several Chinese traditions and skills. The entry ticket is very cheap and almost no waiting despite the many people visiting it. The gardens are beautiful and lakes were full of colourful fish. There were lots of car parking spaces nearby too. Staff were friendly and supportive but very rate to find someone speaks English.

The garden and museum isn't that large, you can cover the whole area in 1- 2 hours dependent on pace. Po Lin Monastery

Buddhist temple
Sights & Landmarks
Nestled on the picturesque Lantau Island, Po Lin Monastery is a vibrant and serene destination that draws visitors from all over. This stunning monastery is home to the iconic 34-meter tall Tian Tan Buddha statue, which stands majestically atop a three-tiered altar. The site not only features this impressive bronze figure but also houses an exhibition hall displaying religious relics and a remarkable six-tonne bell that tolls 108 times daily.
This monastery was built in 1906, more than 110yrs old was initially known simply as "The Big Hut". It was renamed to its present name in 1924. The main temple houses three bronze statues of the Buddha – representing his past, present and future lives – as well as many Buddhist scriptures. There are flowers everywhere, also a vegetarian restaurant inside the village next to the monastery. There are people selling flying bird toys which is a must buy if you have kids along. Recommended while you are at Ngong Ping village.

Peaceful and beautiful place to visit in Hong Kong. The monastery is very calming, with stunning traditional architecture and the smell of incense all around. Perfect spot to take a break after seeing the Big Buddha. Worth a visit if you want a mix of culture and relaxation.

I've travelled all across Asia for decades and Po Lin monastery is one of the nicest, cleanest and most peaceful monasteries or temples I've ever seen. It's on Lantau Island, Po Lin means Precious Lotus and is one of Hong Kong's most important Buddhist sites. The monastery is most famous for its association with the Tian Tan Buddha which sits on a hill opposite the monastery. The monastery grounds are home to ornate halls, gardens, and a popular vegetarian restaurant. I highly recommend everyone visits but please respect local culture and dress appropriately covering knees and shoulders at least.
Jay T — Google review
The structure is really beautiful and it gives you a very ancient feeling. But inside, it’s unbelievable because the architecture and the craftsmanship from the roof to the bottom is on another level. All the statues and everything are so shiny and beautiful. You can’t believe your eyes when you look at them. Also, the landscape is crazy because it’s situated between the greenery and the mountains, which adds a lot of wow effect.
Pradumna S — Google review
This is a stunning place to visit whilst visiting Hong Kong. Definitely take the cable car for breath taking views along the way; I say this despite hating heights but the ride was so smooth. Don't be put off by the many steps. Take it easy, especially in the heat. It is truly worth it.

I had the pleasure of visiting po lin monastery as part of an itinerary scheduled by get your guide. Altough we didnt spend that much time in the monastery i must say the details from the colours and the shapes, whilst sourrounded by nature make it very impressive! The location is also great if you are planning to visit neaby sights such the big bidha, ngong ping village and the Tai O village. Incredible experience! Lastly its worth visiting Lantau island as part of your guided group since transportation options as well as frequency to island can be a bit tricky.

Fantastic monastery to visit. Very intricate work on the walls. Don't skip the Ten Thousand Buddhas shrine inside the Po Lin Monastery. It opens at 9:45am. Would recommend to skip the Veg Restaurant in here which is quite bland.

Sights & Landmarks
Nestled in the serene mountains of Lantau Island, the Tian Tan Buddha is a breathtaking sight that stands 34 meters tall, making it the second largest outdoor seated bronze Buddha globally. Erected in 1993, this majestic statue serves as a significant center for Buddhism in Hong Kong. Visitors can ascend 268 steps to reach its platform and enjoy stunning views while experiencing spiritual offerings made by devotees.
Visiting the Big Buddha was truly one of the highlights of my trip. The statue itself is breathtaking both in scale and in the peaceful energy that surrounds the entire place. The panoramic views from the top are stunning, and the atmosphere is calm despite the number of visitors. I highly recommend taking the Ngong Ping 360 cable car with the crystal cabin (glass bottom). Floating high above the lush green mountains and the South China Sea gives you a unique perspective it’s both exciting and serene at the same time. ⏰ Tip: Go early in the morning to avoid queues and enjoy the freshest air.

Must visit place in hong kong, stunning view and really a magical experience. The cable car was non operational due to the typhoon alert so visit by bus but was a really good experience. Only thing is that the shops nearby are not accepting the card payment so be sure you cary cash otherwise you may need to hold your hunger like me. The place is kept so well and spiritual.

truly one of Hong Kong’s most iconic and awe-inspiring landmarks. The statue’s sheer size and presence are breathtaking, and the journey up the long staircase feels rewarding the moment you reach the top. The panoramic views of the mountains and the South China Sea make the experience even more memorable. The entire area has a serene, spiritual ambience — perfect for reflection and photography alike. The nearby Po Lin Monastery and Wisdom Path also add to the cultural richness of the visit. A must-visit attraction for anyone coming to Hong Kong — majestic, calming, and absolutely unforgettable!

Tian Tan (Big) Buddha, Hong Kong A peaceful and spiritual experience high above the clouds. 🌤️ The Big Buddha is one of Hong Kong’s most iconic landmarks — calm, majestic, and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Climbing the long staircase to reach the statue is a memorable experience, especially when the weather is misty and the Buddha slowly appears through the fog. 🌫️🙏 The atmosphere feels serene and respectful. Around the area, there are temples, incense offerings, and panoramic viewpoints. Everything is clean, organized, and well-maintained. 💡 Tip: Visit early morning for fewer crowds and softer light for photography. Combine your trip with the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car ride for the best overall experience. 🚠

Another impressive sight in Lantau island, making it an interesting destination to explore. Stairs are very duable even for people who are not fit. So i would say in maximum 10 minutes you should be on the top. The statue is simple but also imposing due to its size. Finally you can enjoy the beautiful ladscape from the top, such as the sourrounding natural habitat, the sea and few little islands.

its such a nice half day trip. we took the cable car, walked around the village and climbed the stairs to the buddah. the views were great. you should also visit the monastery next to it and wander around the different paths. you can also take the bus to tai o fishing village and take a look at one of the last real fishing villages of hong kong

History Museums
The Opium War Museum, originally known as the Lin Zuxu Memorial, was built in 1957 to honor the man who initiated the Opium War in China. The museum features exhibits on opium prohibition and the history of the mid-1800s Opium Wars, including artifacts, art, and rotating displays. Visitors can explore dioramas depicting life during that time period and view cultural artifacts such as intricate embroidery showcasing fashion from that era.
Super interesting museum about a crucial part of history. About an hour drive from Guangzhou, highly recommend if you are in the area. 3 floors on the events that unfolded regarding the dumping of opium, a smaller single floor museum on history of the town, and the actual pools where they dumped the opium. Such an important event in Chinese history presented in a great way!

This is near humen station so you can visit this first or weiyuan fort first, your call. Register to attend on site is required via wechat. No need advance booking.

Though a modest museum, not so sleek and high tech, but the interiors are rich in contents depicting the struggles of the Chinese people against the British trading Opium in China in the 19th century. Exhibits are in both English and Chinese languages, with life-sized dioramas of the conditions of the time. Some cultural artefacts are also shown, including the fashion of the era, with intricate embroidery etc. Worth the 90 minutes spent on site! Entrance is free of charge, but foreigners will have to get the attendant to validate your passport to get a ticket.

Really unprofessionally run golf club ,no one really speaks English and the whole time everyone is trying to scam money from you for services that aren’t really provided At one stage I was surrounded by 3 staff members demanding that I give them all the cash I had on me In the end I paid over $400 Australian dollars for a game of golf and to hire some clubs that looked like they came out of a thrift store at best as nothing matched I just had 11 random clubs in a bag with a broken Odessay putter and a caddy There is no ATM in the club and yiu can’t call a taxi to pick you up at the end either It was the worst golf experience I have ever had

(Translated by Google) Overall rating: Not recommended 1. Some hotel shuttle buses run to and from the pier for free (every 30 minutes in some times) 2. Other intra-island buses cost 10 yuan per trip 3. Apart from hotels, there are only seafood restaurants on the island, and the taste is average. (On that day, it cost 310 RMB for two people to eat, 210 RMB for seafood, 45 processing fee, 10 RMB for drinks, and 45 RMB for fried noodles) 4. Water activities are expensive 5. There are no land activities, even bicycle rentals, and sports center activities such as archery are simpler than expected. 6. Personally, I don’t like swimming caps in swimming pools, so I gave up. (The infinity swimming pool is in another hotel branch. Although you can go there, it is very annoying) 7. All nearby facilities are under construction, nothing interesting 8. Not many mosquitoes 9. It is best to buy snacks and drinks before going to Dongao Island. There are few choices on the island and the prices are expensive. 10. Buy the round-trip ferry ticket directly, otherwise you have to keep the ticket, otherwise it will be very annoying. You have to bring a government notarization and fingerprints before you can be released. 11. The price of a night in a certain Hotel use. 12. The water on the beach is not clear, but the sand is indeed clean, and people clean up the garbage regularly.

The Museum of the Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen

Mentioned on

Historic Sites
The Museum of the Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen is a renowned tourist destination that showcases cultural relics, exhibition halls, and statues. It was once the home of China's 'Father of the Nation,' Sun Yat-sen, and has been preserved to offer visitors an insight into his life and times. The museum features various exhibits highlighting different aspects of Sun's life, including his political ideologies, academic pursuits, and contributions to China's modernization.
No trip to Zhongshan, China is complete without a visit here. Born in this village in 1866, Sun Yat-sen went on to head the movement that overthrew the last remnants of the Qing dynasty in 1912. Visitors can gaze at the library that educated this future revolutionary, the kitchen that fed him, and the bed that cradled him. The Museum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, consisting of the Former Residence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Cuiheng Folk House Exhibition and the Cuiheng Farming Exhibition, is a national protected cultural site to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat-sen (November 12, 1866 – March 12, 1925), a Chinese revolutionary and political leader often referred to as the Father of Modern China. Sun played an instrumental role in the eventual collapse of the Qing Dynasty in 1911. He was the first provisional president when the Republic of China (ROC) was founded in 1912 and later co-founded the Kuomintang (KMT) where he served as its first leader. Sun was a uniting figure in post-Imperial China, and remains unique among 20th-century Chinese politicians for being widely revered in both Mainland China and in Taiwan. The museum is situated in Cuiheng Village, where Dr. Sun spent his childhood and part of his youth. Seated against the hills and close to the sea. Due to Dr. Sun’s great reputation, the museum has become a pilgrimage site in the hearts of people who admire him all over the world. The Former Residence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen is a distinctive two-storey building. Dr. Sun designed the building himself in 1892 and took charge of the construction. It possesses a Chinese style interior and a western style exterior. Dr. Sun lived here from 1892 to 1895, when he practiced medicine and engaged in revolutionary activities in the Pearl River Delta. He also stayed here for three days after he resigned from the presidency. As a result, there are many legacies about Dr. Sun’s childhood, his family, and his early education. On the first floor displays “Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Life and His Accomplishments”, providing a detailed and systematic introduction to Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s life story, deeds, personality, thought and theory and revolutionary activities under his leadership. The display is both academic and popular, paying a tribute to Dr. Sun’s great achievement in leading the people to overthrow the monarchy and establish the Republic of China. The display also introduces the main adherents to Dr. Sun’s revolutionary career. On the second floor is the exhibition of “Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Relatives and Descendants”, reflecting their great support and contribution to the revolution and their sacrifice for the revolution led by Dr. Sun. The second floor also has rooms for temporary exhibitions. Picture taking is prohibited inside the main building. Entrance is free, but there was long line- ups to get in, up to 30 minutes. Also the number of visitors allowed at one time to get into the main building (his former residence) was limited, so you need to wait your turn.

The museum and park of Sun Yat Sen memorial is a great and popular way to learn about the history of early China republic and Sun Yat sen himself and also looking at some cultural relics. There were many tour groups when we went on 19.4.2025 which crowded the photo spots, admission is free and there are shops near the entrances

One of the most important place in modern Chinese history, there are several exhibition halls here including Dr. Suen old house, neighbourhoods’s house as well as a huge exhibition hall. Apart from that, the museum also contains a demonstrating farm of the city of Zhongshan, showing how this industry developed in the city. It’s quite a good place to escape from city and its completely free entry.

This was a worthy visit, however on the day we attended we were not able to go into the Museum. This place is quite large so best to give it some time, can easily spend 3-4 hrs there.
Kenneth C — Google review
Dr. Sun Yat Sen was a revolutionary ahead of his time: democracy activist, world traveler, and educated man. He is still well-known among Chinese the world over. His activities and life took him from China, to Honolulu for education, to the United States for a speaking tour, and also to Hong Kong and Macau. This museum is made of two parts: old folk structures from his youth and a modern building showing his community organizing during adulthood. Inside the folk houses: I learned that beds during his time didn't have mattresses or pillows-- one slept on a hard wooden bed with the head supported by a wooden or jade frame not much bigger than a chopstick holder. One of my favorite exhibits though was the bridal suite: two mannequins representing a newlywed husband and wife in red, and a sedan chair. There are also several display cases with models of what traditional Chinese feasts looked like, including winter festival, Ching Ming, wedding party, and Chinese New Year. Inside the exhibition building: photographs, newspapers, statues, and literature from Dr. Sun's activist years. A museum shop sold trinkets like pens andbkeychains; I bought a little flashlight using button batteries. I was disappointed to see the books were only in Chinese as I wanted to buy an English biography or memoir of his life.

If you're seeking a lavish and upscale casino experience, look no further than the Venetian Macao Casino. Situated on the Cotai Strip, it holds the title of being the largest casino and luxury hotel resort globally, spanning an impressive 10,500,000 square feet. This opulent palace of gambling offers a variety of games such as poker, blackjack, and slots for those looking to indulge in an evening of luxury entertainment.
The ambience at the Venetian is absolutely stunning — from the moment you step inside, the scale, design, and attention to detail are truly world-class. The entire place feels grand, glamorous, and full of energy, yet incredibly comfortable for a relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, offering a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. Walking through the indoor canals, vibrant shopping areas, and the beautifully themed spaces feels like stepping into another world. The glitz, décor, and visual appeal of the entire property are simply unmatched. Whether for leisure, sightseeing, or just soaking in the atmosphere, the Venetian Macao delivers an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

The world's largest casino. 5 times bigger than the Las Vegas Venetian 🤯. Surely worth a visit to see the opulence and take a gamble if you are in Macao. No free alcoholic drinks for gamblers like in Vegas though. Managed to win and quit while ahead. You could easily spend a long time walking through the massive interconnected casinos!

My family and I spent an hour here just to try our luck at the slot machine and experience the casino. The place was humongous. The architecture and details were patterened after venice giving a european feel of the place. Despite the ultra luxurious design of the place, I was not comfortable to be in a place where people literally squander their money away. Honestly, the experience was so-so. Good for taking a few pics and seeing what the casino scene was all about. I saw a couple of friends fighting over what I can assume to be a money issue. Security was fast to act and escorted them away. Overall, if you are a casino goer, you will love it here. Otherwise, id just wander outside the casino to enjoy their replica of the venice canals.

I'm not an English-speaking traveler, but I still want to try a different style of commenting. The grammar might be off, and the meaning might be unclear, but let me give it a try! The most captivating part of The Venetian Macao for me was the shopping arcade, beautifully designed with a strong Venetian atmosphere. Walking through the mall felt almost like stepping onto the streets of Europe. The sky-themed ceiling is incredibly realistic, with lighting that mimics natural daylight and shifting shadows, making you slow down and take it all in. The artificial canal and gondola rides are iconic features, and the detailed building facades along the walkways make it a fantastic place for photos. There’s a wide range of shops—from luxury boutiques to everyday brands—and the layout is easy to navigate, making it a pleasant place to wander around. Even if you’re just here for shopping, the immersive, European-style ambiance makes it a great spot for strolling, taking pictures, and simply spending a relaxing afternoon. Although I haven’t stayed at the hotel yet, the shopping area alone is genuinely worth experiencing.

The Ruins of Saint Paul's is a captivating historical site in Macau, renowned for its stunning facade that remains from a 17th-century church. Originally part of a larger religious complex, this UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases the intricate artistry of its southern stone facade, which beautifully blends European Renaissance and Asian architectural styles. Once home to St. Paul's College and the Church dedicated to Saint Paul the Apostle, it was tragically destroyed by fire in 1835.
This is an iconic photo of the Macau. The place is magnificent whenever you decide to visit l, during the evening or during the day. Take a break and enjoy the view while sitting on the stairs.

I visited the Ruins of St. Paul’s on a Wednesday morning, and even then it was already quite crowded with tourists. The site itself is iconic and definitely worth visiting at least once if you’re in Macau. The stone façade is beautifully preserved and stands out against the blue sky, making it a great photo spot. The surrounding area is lively, with lots of souvenir shops and food stalls to explore after your visit. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere felt vibrant and full of history. A must-see landmark that captures both the cultural and colonial heritage of Macau.

The Ruins of St. Paul’s is one of the best spots to visit in Macau. Even though only the front wall remains, it looks amazing and full of history. breathtaking sight and one of the most beautiful historic spots in Macau. The grand stone façade, intricate carvings, and the way the structure stands tall against the skyline make it incredibly photogenic and awe-inspiring. The place carries a deep sense of history, and the surrounding area is lively with cultural shops, local snacks, and scenic viewpoints. Walking up the steps and taking in the view from the top is absolutely worth it. A must-visit for anyone exploring Macau — rich in heritage, visually stunning, and full of cultural significance!

A delighful place to bask in Macau's history and sample its' gastronomic offerings The ruins of St Paul Cathedral is one of the destinations that make Macau's colonial history so palpable. Towering over the old historic quater, the religious place makes visitors feel the portugese influence had on Macanese culture. Walkways to the church are lined with "colononial european designed paths" with rows of pre-colonial style townhouses and shophouses. A lot of the vendors offer free tastes of biscuits, meat jerky, almond cookies and other portugese snacks. You can actually skip dinner or lunch if you go here before mealtime because of the continuous flow of free food samples. Overall, it was a great experience for my family and I. We had the perfect day of food, history and bonding at the Ruins of St. Paul. This is a must go for anyone visiting Macau. * there are a lot of eateries and convenience stores along the side streets *a couple of other churches that offer mass service are also situated around the area * some botiques of known brands can be found in this area too, nike, adidas, giordano etc * 5 stars for koi kei egg tarts. You can find their stalls on the path up tp the ruins.

This front of the building is beautiful, but the area is very very busy most of the day. If you want a clean image. I would suggest going after 10pm or just as the sun rises. Group tours are continuously arriving, and they make a lot of noise.

It's very crowded place too. If you want to enjoy this place a little bit quiet, come in earlier in the morning. There are many shops and restaurant too.

Very nice area in Macao. Pretty flowers, tiles and fountains. European street vibes all around. Must visit! A major street part for shopping, food and much more. Tourists all around you will find.

The Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center is a bustling hub featuring shops, a cinema, and various dining options, including a revolving restaurant with stunning views. While the Outer Harbour used to offer picturesque vistas of boats on the Pearl River, it has undergone significant development with highways, skyscrapers, and attractions like the Macau Tower. For a more authentic experience, visitors are encouraged to explore the vibrant Inner Harbour area with its historic buildings and local businesses.
Do it! Go! Make the effort!! It’s a must and the 180 lounge is the best value full stop! It’s slickly managed and what a view! The whole experience from start to finish was superb and for around $35 including drinks (beers and wines too) and a snack or two including Portuguese delicacies it’s a no brainer!

Macau Tower is absolutely breathtaking! The 360° panoramic view of the city is simply mesmerizing — from the glittering skyline to the serene waters, every angle is picture-perfect. As a bit of a daredevil myself, I loved the thrilling activities they offer — from the skywalk to the bungee jump, it’s an adrenaline rush like no other. Whether you’re there for the views, the adventure, or both, Macau Tower is a must-visit experience that will leave you in awe.

As i said... one of the best of this country... A must place to visit... You'll enjoy everything up there. The view is breathtaking.

That's THE place with the most iconic view of Macau. Absolutely worth a visit albeit a little hard to get to. The entrance to the tower can be reached via the Macau Tower building through an underground passage. To this Macau Tower building, in turn, you also get via another underground passage. The tower itself provides besides the obligatory (and high-priced) restauration also some thrills: you either walk around the outside of the upper tower platform at 233 meters, do a bungee jump, or the opposite by climbing to the towers peak. All of theese activities are also quite pricey but really worth the money from my point of view.

Nice view with good food from 365 cafe. But the staffs are not friendly. We went there 30 pax for lunch. Restaurant is always busy and staffs are rushing to finish the food. Only few minutes they didn’t give us to pack things to leave. They come & shout to leave.

A-Ma Temple, Macau's oldest temple built in 1488, is a significant symbol of the city's rich history and tradition. Dedicated to the sea goddess Matsu, it holds a history of over 500 years and is believed to have influenced the name 'Macau.' As the oldest Taoist temple in Macau, A-Ma Temple is revered for blessing seafarers and fishermen.
This is a beautiful, well-preserved place where you can appreciate the richness of Eastern culture and Buddhism. The entrance is free and you can travel in its immensity, inside you can buy the incense and plates to ask for you and your family. The view from the temple is mind-blowing.

A-Ma Temple – A Spiritual Stop with a Memorable Prayer Experience Our visit to A-Ma Temple in Macau was not just a sightseeing stop, but a meaningful spiritual experience. The temple is one of the oldest and most famous in Macau, rich in history and culture. What made our visit truly memorable was the moment we offered a giant incense stick — so large that it took three people to carry it. We lit it and prayed sincerely for the success and prosperity of our business. It felt powerful, respectful, and deeply symbolic. The atmosphere of the temple is peaceful and sacred, filled with the scent of incense. Whether you are religious or simply curious, A-Ma Temple offers a calm and beautiful setting to reflect and connect. Highly recommended if you are visiting Macau and want to experience something spiritual and culturally meaningful.

A beautiful temple with nice positive vibes. It is accessible by public transport. The temple has steps to climb. So little difficult for people with disabilities. The vibes in the temple was peaceful. The idols were beautiful.
Bela M — Google review
A hidden jewel in Macau, stories had it that for 5 centuries, the A-Ma Temple in other parts of the world this diety is known as Ma Choa a toist diety had clung to the rocky slope of Macau where the shrine stands. A fragrant scent of incense and smells of ancient stone filles the air. Before venturing to the neon decor and the blistering sights of casinos, there was this: the salty breath of the South China Sea mingling with sandalwood smoke, a sanctuary built by grateful fishermen for the protector the honour as the goddess of the sea. Sunlight, filtered through banyan trees, dapples the granite flagstones. Worn steps lead past ornate pavilions with upturned roofs, their ceramic figures frozen in silent drama. The air is thick with devotion; the soft chime of a bell, the rustle of prayer slips tied with red string, the murmur of a name repeated—A-Ma, A-Ma. Here, hope is a tangible thing. It rises in coiled incense spirals towards the carved granite cliffs. It rests in the cupped hands of an old woman, her prayers as steady as the tides. This is not just a monument, but a living heart. It is the soul of Macau itself—resilient, enduring, and forever watching over the water, a serene guardian amid the modern city's roar. For centuries estimated over 600 years of history this tiny little hut has endured through time. Ma Chor as the protector of ancient fishermen did a splendid job to be honoured and respected till today. The tradition has not settled eventhough Macau has since development into a modern day city with skyscraper filling every corney of the island. I am sure you will not be disappointed having fulfilled your devotion expected from a faithful taoist.

A-Ma Temple is one of the most beautiful and meaningful places to visit in Macau. It’s peaceful, historic, and full of character — a nice contrast to the busy casinos and city life. The moment you walk in, you can feel the calm atmosphere: incense burning, prayers being offered, and locals quietly paying their respects. The architecture is stunning, with old stone steps, intricate carvings, and traditional Chinese rooftops that make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Each hall has its own charm, and the view from the upper level is worth the short climb. Even though it’s a popular spot, it still feels spiritual and authentic. It’s a place where you can slow down, observe, and appreciate Macau’s cultural roots. A must-visit if you’re exploring the heritage side of Macau — peaceful, historic, and beautifully preserved.

Notably, the park recently introduced a new roller coaster reaching speeds of up to 105 kph and towering at 61 meters high.
Of course we need to see Panda when in China! One of the most beautiful and advance zoo I ever visited in the world. The animals are well fed and well taken care of, clean, green and beautiful environment, good sanitation and hygiene as the smell is so minimal and almost none. This is the place where the famous triplets panda in the world that got guiness book of record. They also have small medical care facilities to show, super advance including the eggs incubators, operation table and MRI.. amazing how they really comitted and dedicated. Que during entry in the morning is in good order and not at all chaotic altho many small kids and old people in their wheelchair. They have hanging trains and safari cars too. In between many attractions happening, circus people in all their glorious costumes, clowns… the staffs are friendly and helpful, inside a lot of food and drinks places, and many cute souvenirs shops. Highly recommended to visit when u are in China. Love it!

Ticket is costly but worthy experience. The zoo is huge and there is clear direction. Staff is overall helpful and ample. Aircon compounds are great because of hot weather. There is a safari where you can take a tram or car to see animals close up. But the q was long 40-60mins. Cable car was a good duration and windy. Will be helpful to have more sitting places. Food at Panda restaurant was tasty and fast.

Chimelong Paradise is a must-visit for theme park enthusiasts in China. With a mix of high-thrill rides, family-friendly attractions, and entertaining performances, it’s an excellent choice for a fun-filled day. If you can visit on a weekday to avoid crowds, even better!

Not a bad theme park. They even have a parade around which was good fun to watch. The day I went 2 of the main rides were closed but I wasn’t made aware of this nor was the ticket discounted due to this. Apart from this the theme park is pretty good, it was reasonably quiet the day I went. I would visit again.

Has 3 roller coasters. Go ride them between 4pm-6pm for much shorter queue. They also have shows throughout the day (copycats of other places, but they did put in effort). If you live at the hotels in the resort, go through the north gate.

Not the biggest fan of theme parks but this one was excellent- lots of different rides for kids and big kids 😉. The park is really well maintained and staff are helpful. Some staff do speak some English which is helpful. Its best to get the Express Pass as it cuts down on alot of the waiting times. Can be purchased at the ticket booth or in the park itself.

We were so amazed by this park! There were so many beautiful animals there. The park was clean. The food selections were great! Some highlights for me were the pandas, the koalas, and feeding a giraffe! We had a great time here!

A well maintained zoo with clean washrooms, numerous eateries, and facilities. They have a safari on wheels, a cable car that takes you across the zoo, and some live shows and parades too. The animals looked well taken care of, and it surely was an impressive zoo. Unfortunately, there aren't many options for vegetarians when it comes to lunch. Also, you aren't allowed to carry food inside, so plan accordingly. The pandas were super adorable, and it was overall a wonderful experience.

Well thought out zoo with some birds and an immersive Jurassic trail. Ticket might be a little expensive (~300RMB per adult) but it includes free cable car rides and the train safari, which easily costs over 50 USD in some other countries (if they even have it) Best visited on a weekday, wait times will be less than 15 mins and the atmosphere is lively but peacful Dont worry about the sun as the whole park is shaded by lots of trees and there are many air conditioned buildings My favourite attraction in Guangzhou!

A very big park, clean and lots of toilets too. Unfortunately, we dont have sufficent time to cover the whole place even though we spend 3 hours there. Animals are happy, environment is great for them too. The safari houses so many koalas ( even more than in Sydney Zoo) that are active though is the begining of winter. Great experience and wish we have more time there.

Sights & Landmarks
Soaring 1888 Catholic cathedral, one of only a few in the world constructed completely of granite.
The Cathedral in Yuexiu District is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The architecture is impressive, with intricate details and a serene atmosphere. It's a great spot for those interested in history and culture. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Guangzhou! Around the church, there are cafes and coconut shop making it a nice spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Sacred Heart Cathedral is the largest Gothic cathedral in China and over a 100 years old. Pretty impressive from the outside, up against the grey and the drab of modernity.....perhaps. Funny to see such a lovely Church in Communist China, and curious to see how the locals react - mostly with selfies and interest. Big crowds on the weekends - can go in and have a look - inside its ok, nothing amazing, the real draw is from outside. Worth a look.
Rob N — Google review
I went there to attend Holy Mass last October 6, 2024 with our eldest sister as my guide. We attended the 3pm English Mass. Solemn, though acoustics is raspy. We can't clearly hear the Priest and readers' voice. Lots of local (Chinese tourists) there also. Some usually attend mass to experience it. Some insist to partake in the Holy Communion for the same reason which isn't allowed. Good thing, Parish staff are there to check among the tourists who are not Catholics. Some tourists are still hard-headed though. Aesthetics - wise, I am impressed by its exteriors and interiors. Amazing to note that it is one of the few Gothic styled church buildings built entirely with granite. If given another time to visit, I would love to do some en-plein air painting on site - if the parish admin allows.

this is not the correct location of the cathedral. It is located at a few hundred meters away. Went on a Monday and church is closed.

Located at Yide Road near the Haizhu Square in the city center, this beautiful over 130-year-old Roman Catholic cathedral is a holy and peaceful site in the bustling and busy urban area. From our hotel at Qiaoguang road, we walked here within 15mins of leisurely paced walk. The cathedral was nice, aka the Notre Dame of Guangzhou (similarly to that in Ho Chi Minh City) with the same architectural style. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, the Cathedral was closed to the public for some private events and so we could not stand outside to take photos and read the intro from the information plagues. And along the section of the cathedral was small square with 2 rows of shophouses and cafes and right next was a long stretch of shophouses selling dried foods, toys and stationery which was very crowded, noisy and full of vibes but within the cathedral area, it was quiet and peaceful, what a contrast, all within 100-120m of distance!
Ed C — Google review
Historical architecture, a church with a 100 plus years of history. It’s quite a popular tourists spot. The church is still holding masses for the public on Sundays. Visitors were allowed to enter the church premises to enjoy the inside and it’s free.

Grand, beautiful, and it welcomes everybody in. The Guangzhou Sacred Heart Cathedral is a wonderful rest stop after a whole lot of touring in the city.
Helen J — Google review
visited the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Guangzhou recently and was really impressed by its beauty and grandeur. The cathedral is made entirely of granite, which gives it a unique and striking appearance. The interior is just as impressive, with a soaring nave and beautiful stained glass windows. The cathedral is a popular tourist destination, and it can get crowded during peak hours. However, it's still worth a visit, even if you're just taking a quick look from the outside. The cathedral is a reminder of the rich history and culture of Guangzhou, and it's a truly special place to experience.

The Pearl River Night Cruise Ticket Office offers a captivating experience for visitors who want to capture stunning views of the illuminated cityscape. Departing from Tianzi Wharf, this 70-minute cruise showcases the dazzling lights adorning the towering buildings, bridges, and landmarks along the more than 2,000-kilometer-long Pearl River. The serene waters make it easy to move around and take photos of this enchanting nighttime spectacle.
Highly recommended! Took my family on this and it was beautiful - a fabulous way to see the city lit up at night. We paid extra to sit outside and really enjoyed this cruise. TIP - Do make sure you have your passports with you as it seems you need them to book any tours in China, and the ticket office did not accept credit or debit cards so make sure you have cash or local apps like AliPay or WeChat Pay.

I took an evening river cruise when I was in Guangzhou recently and it was an amazing experience. I got my tickets at the counter located near the base of Canton Tower. The crew here was very helpful and polite and they spent time answering questions from tourists about the cruise itself. After getting the ticket, I was directed to the pier which is less than 10mins walk from the ticket counter. Despite the large crowd, the team at the pier was efficient and got all of us boarded quickly. Light refreshments was served onboard during the cruise. I sat at the top, open deck. The boat moved slowly to give us plenty of opportunity to take pictures of the night view and lights from both sides of the river. It was such an enjoyable experience and fun way to explore the city.

Took the cruise on the Pearl River, the 3rd largest river in China, from Tianzi wharf. As we set sailed at 8pm, we chose to sit at the open area. As we sailed along, we saw historical sites, unique architecture, Canton tower. The surrounding buildings and bridges were all lighted up. Very impressed by the LieDe Bridge. We took lots of photos and videos

You are a fool if you don’t take a night-time river cruise when in GZ. The light show from numerous buildings, bridges and boats is amazing!! The boat itself is a bit underwhelming but I don’t think any of the other choices are better. The boat is clean and the staff pleasant but the food options are limited and below average and the drinks are OK. is OK; drinks OK. A continuous loud commentary dominates the air. Really there is the potential here to have devices that you control to learn what you want (culture/history/ architecture …) in your preferred language or a chat with your friends or contemplative music. Cocktails and a much more interesting food list would really add to the experience. The different decks could be used more creatively - food floor; dimly lit floor to give the lights outside their full potential; even dancing on the stage could be an option. Kids friendly zone with a child minder or games; river/boat toys? Many possibilities.

During my visit to Guangzhou, I took a river cruise that was truly amazing. The sunset was breathtaking, painting the sky with vibrant colors. As night fell, the city came alive with dazzling lights reflecting on the water, showcasing Guangzhou’s beauty in a whole new light. Although we arrived a bit late and missed out on the dinner option, the cruise itself was unforgettable. If you’re ever in Guangzhou, I highly recommend this experience for its stunning views and the serene ambiance

Nice place to watch the night scene of Pearl River, tickets are not cheap, at rmb160 per adult (deck price) with tea and snack provided. Everyone need to run through security check before on board. Would recommend to standby jacket if you worry on cold wind, if you are not going to deck, then it is ok. It would be even more interesting if you have local to show or share with you the history / story of each building or area to make your trip more memorable.

Shamian Island

Shamian Island, located in the heart of Guangzhou along the Pearl River, is often overlooked by tourists despite being one of the city's top points of interest. This small island, connected to the mainland by several bridges, boasts a charming European-style ambiance with its buildings and tree-lined streets. While it may not have many attractions, it offers a pleasant environment for leisurely strolls and is steeped in history, as evidenced by informative plaques scattered around the island.
If you’re in Guangzhou, you have to visit Shamian Island—it’s like stepping into a little slice of Europe right in the middle of China! The neighborhood is full of beautiful colonial-era buildings, cobblestone streets, and banyan trees that give it such a peaceful vibe. It’s perfect for strolling around, taking photos (you’ll see wedding shoots everywhere!), and soaking in the history. There are cute cafes, statues with quirky stories, and even riverside views. It’s calm, charming, and just magical to explore!

Highly recommended and worth the visit! In the evening even prettier with lightings on big old trees. Amazing view, calm vibes surrounded with old colonial buildings. In the past seems like all western traders are living here and run their business to bring goods from China to their countries. Hence all buildings are built in Colonial styles surrounded with parks, big old trees. During spring est. February- March many park areas will be having tulips flowers in different beauty colors.

Shamian Island 沙面島, previous known as Zhongliusha 中流沙or Shicuizhou 石翠州, is an elliptic sandbar in the Liwan District 茘湾区of Guangzhou City 广州市, Guangdong Province. The island's name literally means "sandy surface" in Chinese. Surrounded by water, the island covers an area of 0.3 km2, 900 m from east to west, and 300 m from north to south. It is bordered in the south by the Pearl River, and it is separated from the mainland by a canal. Shamian Island has three east-west avenues, Shamian Avenue, Shamian North Avenue and the South Avenue, and five north-south streets, Shamian Street 1 to the Street 5 divide the whole area into 12 parts, with various buildings. The island was divided into two concessions given to France and the United Kingdom by the Qing government in the 19th century (1859–1943). The island is now opened to the public with historical area that serves as a reminder of the colonial European period, with quiet pedestrian avenues flanked by trees and lined by historical buildings in various states of upkeep. The island is the location of several hotels, a youth hostel, restaurants and tourist shops selling curios and souvenirs.

After the lunch at a nearby mall, we walk to the Shamian island. The access to the island could be improved as we get there via an old footbridge over tons of traffic, but that's perhaps making a contrasting experience unexpectedly. If you have no interest in history then the Shamian island maybe just a cluster of old European style building, and a rather nice tree line shaded park - it is 'just' a nice walk route. But if you dig deeper you could find the old Shell plc., HSBC, Citibank building and they reminded a rather painful Chinese history in late Qing dynasty to pre-ww2 time. All memory of that may be faded but glad the architecture still there and not be pulled down in the name of new development. Well worth a visit if you are in GZ so you can experience a different dimension of your stay. it is also a short walk to the nearby Custom house, and the DaiSun building which was the first tall concrete building in SZ - though the interior of Daisun was poorly turned into a dingy mall selling electronic, and all former glamour of the interior fit out cant be seen at all.

What a beautiful place to visit when you're in Guangzhou. If you want to visit this place, you need to familiarise yourself with the train movement. If you can download this app called " Amap," it is all in chinese, but if you can read it; will tell you which train to take or transit from one to another. Super affordable fee at this time of writing - train fare is about CNY 7.99. You NEED to have a china sim card - phone number. Bring your passport along as you download the Alipay app. You may need you to snap a picture of your passport. A lot of the time, it is quite spontaneous, so it is best to be prepared. Not necessarily, but just be prepared. Luckily for me, I bought an esim from "Nomad" app. It gives me internet access but I still need to have VPN to transfer money from my bank across to my "Wise app". Anyways, I'm getting side track. This Shamian Island has all European town outlook, it has statues of exquisite designs. Take your time to observe or take a picture with it. Food wise - expensive. So if you wanna splurge, be my guest. Walking towards the pier, it has a nice view of the Guangzhou waterfront. I was lucky because there was a 70s band who performed for the public. Not sure what they're called now.

IG: iamcynditravel Fb: Cyndi_Travel 小红书: cynditravel Shamian Island is a very interesting and memorable place. You can see both locals and tourists visiting this place, some with the intention of taking picturesque photos and some of them just bring their families to stroll the park. You can also find many interesting restaurants and cafes around and if you don't mind about using some bucks to spend here, then feel free to visit any of your preferred places and relax. But during peak hours like the weekends, there will be more people.

Aside from a great place to walk around, this sandbank island has a lengthy history. If you visit there are plaques around the island explaining the history. There are some nice hotels, landmarks, a Starbucks, and Poland's Consulate is also located there.

Qing Hui Yuan is a renowned garden in Guangdong featuring traditional pavilions, bridges and art amidst rare plants. The garden boasts of ancient architecture showcasing exceptional designs that surpass many modern-day houses. It is one of the oldest and top three most beautiful gardens in Guangdong, meticulously planned and maintained with its vast expanse offering ample exploration opportunities. Allow at least an hour or two to navigate through the park's various areas without getting lost.
Beautiful park, perfect place to wind down after Jimbang Upper Street. Crowded worth it. They also got free lockers and even a place to store larger luggage for free inside. 15rmb entrance.

Qinghui Garden is one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong and also an AAAA-level tourist attraction in China. It was first built in the Ming Dynasty, and the existing buildings were mainly built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. The layout of the garden is exquisite, with water as its feature. It cleverly combines pavilions and towers with clear water and green trees, ancient wall windows, stone mountains and small bridges, etc., showing the unique charm of Cantonese gardens. There are also many celebrity calligraphy and precious cultural relics in the garden, such as Qing Dynasty color engraved glass, Liang Tongshu's Zhuangyuan Hall plaque, Qing Dynasty Shiwan ceramics "Eight Immortals Instruments Picture" and so on. As a garden landscape, it is worth a visit, but there will be a lot of people on holidays, and there will be many people who put on makeup and take photos, which will take up a lot of space for a long time, which will affect the tourist experience. If you are interested in garden landscapes, you must also go to Suzhou to see the standard Suzhou gardens, which will have a stronger sense of design.

Located in Shunde District 順德區, Foshan City 佛山市, Guangdong Province 廣東省, China, Qinghui Garden 清暉園was built in the last period of Ming Dynasty明朝. Today’s Qinghui Garden has become a typical traditional South China Garden with Lingnan style 嶺南風格of construction. The garden is one of the ten famous gardens in China and one of the four famous gardens in Guangdong Province. Qinghui Garden integrates Ming and Qing dynasties culture, Lingnan ancient gardening style, Zhujiang Delta Region Watertown scenery 珠三角水鄉風光 together, as the typical representative of Lingnan gardening culture. Inside the Garden, there are water, trees, stone hills, small bridges are blended with booths and pavilions, presenting a kind of distinctive scenery. Fine courtyards are built inside the garden. If you like Chinese gardens, this place is a must see.

A very well-maintained 400-year-old Lingnan garden with beautiful grounds. The garden is very well designed, with fish ponds, waterways, and covered corridors connecting all the various main halls. You can sit down and enjoy different views of the garden. There are lots of old, beautiful fruit trees. It's a joy to visit, and I love their colorful stained glass the most. Highly recommend.

Beautifully preserved garden and buildings. There are stepping stones in the water garden and they let you use them (that would not happen in North America). Very busy. Very little parking. Pay using a QR. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. A must if you enjoy history and gardens.

Great experience!!! The rooms were a bit old but very clean. Staffs were so friendly!! We were so lucky because there's not many people when we travel. Food was great! Plenty of activities and great photo shoot spots!! Kids loved it!! Will certainly put it on our bucket list if we travel back to China again!!

It was my first time at a hot spring resort in China and I was blown away at the services and attitude of the people here. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and the festive ambiance was amazing. There's one part of a building that's dedicated to catering to an all-you-can-eat festival style that's a definite must go! They have a karaoke bar that's opened until 2:30 am and although the selection for English songs isn't much, they do have some of the older English songs if you're into oldies. You're in luck if you know Mandarin or Cantonese! The karaoke staff were extremely friendly and amazing and I definitely think they're one of the hardest workers in this resort. The hot springs itself is amazing and the temperature is just right! The mood is fantastic and I really don't know what else I could say about this place that could show how much fun this place is. I would recommend staying for 2 days and 2 nights to be able to relax and enjoy everything.

Many different types of hot baths and other facilities to enjoy with. There is a basketball court nearby and the staffs are so nice and willing to lend us a ball, as the ball should belong to some staffs instead of the hotel. Despite the place being seemingly far from urban area, it is a fun and interesting place to visit overall.

This is a very interesting hot spring resort to stay for a day or two. They have a fun buffet with a whole street of food and snacks, once you pay for buffet place, all the food on that street is free. Their breakfast buffet and the restaurants are very good as well. The only problem is that it could be hard for foreign people to make a resevration there, their English website is not working. The resort package in ctrip is hard to understand for what the package was included.

Exemplary service. Left glasses in locker and after a phone call, staff kindly sent it via courier to Zhongshan, where we were staying. Definitely impressed about how they went he extra mile.

(Translated by Google) By the way, my little sister and my boss went to Zuo🌊Zhuhai Haiquanwan resort last weekend and had a lot of fun. We spent 2 days and nights💕 You really want to play it, you can play multiple scenes with one package ticket! Check out Zuo Duzhong and you can continue playing👍🏻👍🏻It’s much more cost-effective than other resorts with itemized fees‼ ️ Hot springs, sea views, amusement parks, cute pets and food markets are all available in one stop. No matter whether you are an adult or not, you will definitely not feel bored when you visit🫶 There is a free shuttle bus between point to point, which is really convenient❗️ 🧡This time I stayed at the 🌟Sail Hotel🌟The door is facing the incomparable sea view, so I can’t say more about the beautiful view🤭 When you check in, the staff will help you register for face recognition by taking your photo. If you want to go to hot springs or entertainment areas later, just go in directly with face recognition. Go ahead‼ ️ The rooms inside are clean, comfortable and large enough, and there is a special terrace. If there is an event in the park, you can watch the fireworks from your seat💖 There is a nice infinity swimming pool outside the hotel where you can swim with a beautiful view of the sea. After swimming, you can sit on an isolated beach chair and enjoy the sunset view. It is really chilling🥰 🔶Mysterious Island Paradise After we put down our left luggage, we went straight to the Mysterious Island Amusement Park; here there are exciting games for adults such as roller coasters, bumper cars, and vertical extremes, as well as carousels and weightless kingdoms for children and parents. Everything is available, there must be something for you to play! 🌈Caribbean Water World: In the hot summer, playing in the water is the most popular activity to help people cool down‼ ️ This water world occupies a large area, with many check-in slots and different pool areas❗️ There is also a 70-meter-long rainbow slide that allows you to experience the exciting thrill of leaning into the water. My friends and I played it all So excited‼ ️ 💦Ocean Hot Spring: The spring water here is rich in more than 30 kinds of trace elements and minerals that are beneficial to the human body, so it is known as the "No. 1 Spring in the South China Sea"🤩 There are 108 hot spring pools with different styles, temperatures and functions in the hot spring area, both indoors and outdoors😊The most special one is the boundless hot spring pool where you can take in the most beautiful mountains and sea sunsets, which will take your breath away.
