Staff were really friendly and accommodating despite a language barrier. I was even given a free salad! Food was some of the best me and my friends have ever had and is well priced. The restaurant atmosphere was incredible as well. We all agreed we would absolutely eat here again 👍

The food was delicious and the waiters really helpful to translate to English for us. They even had a English menu. The place was warm and the pizza oven in the heart of the restaurant. It felt like an authentic Italian family business.

Fantastic, very touristy nowadays but there are still some hidden gems that are quiet but you’ll need a car to find them (one was through an industrial estate so very hidden). Restaurants are great and people very friendly

This would have been beautiful in the right weather. It was just our luck that we arrived in the height of Summer, at the end of a heatwave and were met with heavy rain and thunderstorms o the water didn't have its famous greenish-blue hue. It is a lovely natural beauty surrounded by mountains.

I was just remembering how much we loved it there last year. My son and I rented bikes and went all around the lake. We also got a pedal boat and took a swim. Saw some young people doing a rope swing jump and did that too. Fabulous.

I took a day trip from Lyon, a great place, I'm sorry I only stayed one day, it's definitely worth 2-3 days! A place not to be missed if you're in the area!

It is a MUST to go, partying, water scakating, swimming and lots of boat cruises around the great lake surrounded by magnificent mountains. 30 min away and your up amongst snowy mountains as early as September.

The ski resort is very large and you can have fun regardless of your skiing level. There are also many hiking trails that allow for wonderful snowshoe hikes. The natural surroundings and views are fantastic.

Arguably one of the ugliest ski resorts in the French alps, however, this is in stark contrast to the excellent ski area, fast lifts and varied terrain. If you are an avid skier or snowboarder this is one of if not the best resort in the alps to visit.

This was my first time skiing in the Alps. I highly recommend this resort to all skiers ⛷️ and snowboarders. You will love the slopes, people, and food.

Amazing ski resort! Several ski slopes and many possibilities for other activities. The bobsleigh descent is unforgettable.

Beautiful well designed apartments for skiers and walkers (depending on the season). Beautiful views of the mountains and lifts (depending on which side you're on I suppose). The apartments are compact but with 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bunks and a double sofa bed, with ease you could fit 8 people in ours. Galley style kitchen is best suited to one person cooking at a time so pre-plan to share the cooking duties if possible. Good extractor fan and each apartment is well appointed with plates and cutlery for 16 (2 meals a day) and a dishwasher as well as breakfast bowls and a host of utensils. We were only short a grater and a potato masher (apparently not French essentials). There a multiple lifts to various parts of the buildings as well as a lot of basement bootrooms/lockers to store your boots and skis and keep your apartment dry. The complex has a code entry to the pool, when you want access - daytime only (closes at 7) and no access on Saturday (change over day) with a new code each week. A 5 minute walk to the local Spar shop makes this a very convenient location with a Restaurant next door to the Spar as well as one opposite the entrance to Lagranges. The Ski and board hire shop is spitting distant from the complex check-in with convenient ski racks located around to stash your skis whilst you buy passes or snacks. The ski-pass system is very flexible at the resort with options for beginners being circa €35 a day, half day options, full resort passes, multi-resort passes and a pedestrian access pass to access the top of glacier via bubble lift for only €8! Superb. The resort is at 1800m so well above the snowline with easy access up to 3000m for fresher snow more often. Snowed again just as we left so if you're looking right now it's perfect for a last minute get away (9/01/23) enjoy! Back again for New Year 2024 - snowed every day so far and the trails are well groomed. Swimming Pool has been renovated as well as the wooden features across the resort.

Great ski resort especially if your using a motorhome parked right next to the main run back to La Plagne. Electric at the end of every row (which didnt trip once) and water is located at a hut at the entrance of site (short slippery walk). The while of thus network is mostly made up of about 70% blues 25% Reds and 5%blacks although many of the blues are more red like. Some great places to eat around the area but it is pricey.. €9-11 a pint !!! Food is around normally UK prices. The roads leading up the mountain to Villages was always mint ( the French know how todo it) the only time we had to put chains on was at the start of the aire as its not as well maintained as the main roads. I'd defo go back to this site and la plagne.

Avoriaz is, without a doubt, the best ski resort we’ve ever been to — and that’s saying a lot after more than 30 years of skiing! Everything is designed for maximum comfort, with ski-in/ski-out access from almost everywhere. The resort is fully pedestrian, which makes getting around incredibly easy and safe. The staff is genuinely kind and helpful, and to our surprise, we haven’t had to queue at all for the chairlifts — even during busy hours. And the snow? Absolutely amazing, even at the very end of the season. We’ll definitely be coming back — and recommending Avoriaz to everyone we know!

This beautiful ski resort is very active in the summer with plenty for the family to stay active. Whether mountain biking, hiking giant games of checkers, chess and tennis plus trampoline. The aquatic center is an excellent family swim . The beautiful French Alps surrounding the town

Great skiing resort. We went over new year so was a bit busy but also great New Years Eve celebrations and midnight fireworks were amazing. All staff we talked to ( in hotel, restaurants, shops etc ) were lovely and friendly. Would recommend for 1st time skiers , families or someone who likes ski fun parks too

Love Avoriaz. It’s like home - a nice friendly place. Resort is great, slopes are fantastic. Its can get overcrowded at vacation time and some places are overpriced but overall its a great place for a skiing holiday. No cars in the resort, only horse-drawn carriages which gives it a special atmosphere, along with the wood-covered buildings which blend into the countryside.

What a lovely ski resort in French Alps. Beautiful place with no cars alowed. By winter, there is a taxi from centre, horse pulled sleigh. They give you a blanket to cover legs, so you could not catch a cold 🙃 I will come back in summer, to see again this paradise!

Lovely and wintery with snow all around in this high altitude snow sure resort. Cars aren't allowed in the town so it's safe to walk around too. A bit artificial in feel though compared with nearby more traditional resorts, partly due to its newness, so this may make it feel less homely and welcoming in the summer. Wonderful in the winter though. Great skiing too.

Truly memorable place, great people (one or two not so good!) totally ski in/ ski out place scenery to die for and something for everyone from the beginners to the more experienced skiers. Bars and restaurants great apart from a certain Italian! Booking our return trip!

Just out of this world experience. The views are absolutely stunning. The facilities are amazing considering the height. Multiple decks for panoramic views. Do keep in mind that the oxygen level will be low and some might feel a bit dizzy. Once in a life time experience,

Your amazing ride starts in the center of chamonix, there you will take the most thrilling cable car ride if you life. With the best views, grass that turns u to snow, and trees that turn into massive cliffs. Aguille du midi is a must for everyone. The views at the top are truly out of this world and make you seem so small. Would recommend to everyone visiting chamonix. Give out of five stars

Excellent view of the Alps from here. We were fortunate that the sky were clear. The view is better than the one we experienced in Jungfraujoch.

Wow!!! Just stunning. Exceptional views 360. Will do again. Review will not do any justice. You just have to go. Nice cafe as well. Stairs from elevator to cafe was a bit of a drag in the thin air. Wife’s lips turned purple from lack of oxygen. Be aware of the signs.

Incredible view . The beauty is breathtaking. You can see the highest peak in Europe from afar. Many people paragliding here. It is a must-visit place in life.

The cable bus from the Chamonix city with a change over in between takes you to the peak of Aiguille du Midi. This peak is exactly in the border of France and Italy. A 20 minutes journey of ten each takes you to the peak. To see the mont blanc, you have to take a pass like temporary visa to the italian side and from the peak to which a lift is taking you, you can see the mont blanc. There is also a glass cage with dead drop bottom. The view from the top is magnificient. It takes you to the view of entire iced surroundings. The mont blanc is the highest peak of Alps. More famous for limited edition pen. They are allowing a total of 2 and half hours to see and come back. On a sunny day, the views are beautiful. The climate is sometimes minus in the peak

Amazing experience. They give you a paper to indicate you have a time to get off the mountain to avoid rushes. Even though it was for 1.5 hours as the recommended time, we spent close to 4 hours (with about 1.5 hours for queuing for the glass dome alone). This was an unforgettable experience and highly recommended.

A breathtaking journey to the highest peak in the Alps on the Italian-French border Starting from the Italian city Courmayeur, a charming town 1,300 meters above sea level, I began my ascent via the Skyway Monte Bianco. I purchased a round-trip ticket for €63.5 at the main station. Punta Helbronner (3,467 m): The final destination was magical. The temperature dropped to around 1.8°C with a light wind, making it refreshingly crisp. From here, a 92-meter below a tunnel leads to a ski station and an open-air restaurant. I made my way to the top terrace—what a view! Standing above the clouds with 360° views of the Alps was an indescribably beautiful and humbling experience. Breathtaking panoramic views of the highest mountain in Europe. Even though I was there at a pretty cloudy day, view was just one of its kind. I was disappointed that the triple cable car was open only one way to France, and nobody could return (because of different regulations).

Wonderful day trip in summer up this mountain via cable car. Don't miss the Refugio and the area covered in snow beside the Refugio.

Stunning views of mountain peaks, an entire glass wall dedicated to local gemstones alongside a view of Mont Blanc and a lovely little cafe where you can sip quality coffee while you admire the peaks! Even though during my visit there were quite a few clouds, the various platforms and views from this height were spectacular. It does get cold at the top observation deck (since you are standing around) so I would recommend an ultralight down! To get around the observation decks (external) you do need to do some stairs, but the building (internal) itself with the cafe and viewing areas is fully accessible! From this point, you could pay for the additional trip on the Mont Blanc Panoramic cable car that takes you over to Aiguille du Midi! I would also recommend going early- so you get fewer clouds and crowds!

The location and pools were great. Most pools had luke warm water with the exception of the pool at the top, which was hot. The dry sauna was hot and delightful. The inside water rooms were fun. My problem was with the staff. The young lady with brown hair and glasses who was in charge of seating for the aperitif on August 1 at 1900 was very rude. She came to our table and instead of making polite conversation with us, she told us story after story about how our home country was full of stupid people, we don't know geography, our food is bad, and we all go around waving guns. Although she has never been to our home country, she was sure to tell us everything wrong with it. It was uncomfortable and insulting.

Amazing experience! From the very beginning staff were nice and helpful, the service was great throughout. The location is absolutely perfect - you swim in the hot water underneath the snowy Mont Blanc. The views and scenery is gorgeous. The place’s facilities are great, the have plenty of hot baths (covered and outside) so it is never too crowded, and they have saunas, relaxing area, massages and lunch. The food at lunch was excellent as well. You receive everything you need - a towel, slippers and a robe, and even a change of robe if you have lunch. The shower area is very well equipped and well designed. Absolutely recommended!

Not the best experience at this spa, we went there at 6, and given a happy hour at 6:45. Which we completely missed because there is only a single clock hidden in one of the buildings. Also we where not told that there are no food options on the premises, so we went hungry for our time there. Many people brought their phones in to take pictures, videos and face time, this made us uncomfortable. I would not recommend people going to this spa for a relaxing time, the view is wonderful, but you don't need to be in this spa to see it. Also there where no employee's to speak to about issues.

The facilities are great. The Lady with classes working in the Bistro was very rude. We were not informed that the Bistro was only available up until a certain time. We missed the slot and were Rudely expelled

Absolutely stunning spa getaway in the mountains. Went here while on a rest day in Coumayeur hiking along the Tour du Mont Blanc, and it was the highlight of my rest. Felt refreshed to get back on the trail the next day.

The views are beautiful. However, Was extremely disappointed here. (Only used spa and had lunch and aperitif) Have been to various QC TERME and this has to be the worst for service. The hospitality staff were rude and I wont go back to this particular qc. That being said every other QC has everything.

The terme was nice and relaxing, but there were no signs to help people find their way, especially to the upstairs rooms. First-timers might miss the stairs. Better guidance is needed, and people with lone hair should be asked to tie their hair more properly.

Very good quality starters (cold cuts and cheeses) typical from Italy and Spain. We chose Pasta (very Well cooked) accompanied with an artisanal beer. Nice desserts and friendly staff. We loved it. Didn’t give 5 starts because the restaurant itself is not “wow”, just a simple cozy bottega. But food-wise definitely worth it!!

Had a wonderful lunch with the family today. I definitely recommend the cured meats and cheeses platters, as well as the tagliatelle with culatello and parmesan! But generally speaking we were satisfied with the food and wine. The location is cosy, especially the 'underground' area. Service is nice, and you can purchase most of the products you have enjoyed after eating (which we definitely have done!) - we will come back!

The food was amazing, we tried the cheese and ham plate, that was really good. Beyond that, we tasted the tagliatelle and the polenta that were excellent. But, unfortunately, our experienced was affected by one staff that didn’t treat us very welcoming when we tried to get a table in the restaurant.

Delicious lunch here, a cute little 7 seat restaurant with wonderful local dishes and an amazingly inexpensive wines by the glass list. I only wish we had more of an appetite so we could have tried some of the meats and cheeses they had in their shop, but the tagliolini with butter, parm and white truffles was perfect, and the polenta in the La Carbonade was one of the best I’ve had!

A little pricey and they won't serve you tap water : you have to buy an expensive bottle. Other than that, great food and nice staff!

One of the most beautiful piazza in Torino , many restaurants are located there , so close to shops in Via Roma and close few minutes walking distance Porta nouva station!

The church at Piazza San Carlo is beautiful and peaceful. It’s not very big, but the architecture and details inside are really impressive. It’s a nice place to stop by if you’re walking around the city. It feels calm and quiet inside, a nice break from the busy streets of Milan. Definitely worth a quick visit if you enjoy historic buildings and quiet spots.

Piazza San Carlo is truly a gem in the heart of Turin. The moment we saw it by night, it was breathtaking—the whole square was aglow with lights, highlighting the grand statue and the beautiful Baroque buildings that line the piazza. Great big museum in the heart of Torino... Very close to the Porta Nuova station.... Entrance for one person is 18 euro, but it's worth every peny... I travel a lot and see so many museums but this is one of the best... This place is one three flors and basement... You have elevators between every floor... So so many unique sculptures and things, mummies, from little to some very big... Everything have good explanation on Italian and English... In basement at the and of tour you can see all history of museum from start.... People who work there is so kind and helpful and talkative... They also have toilet on every floor and at exit you can buy some souvenirs... All recommendations for visit and enjoy if you are in Torino

I visited this museum about 10 years ago and the experience back then felt on another level. The storytelling, especially in the Gods Library, and the way the rooms connected made the visit much more fluid and comfortable. This time, unfortunately, the huge number of visitors made it almost impossible to enjoy some sections. Even with pre-booked tickets, it was extremely crowded and in some areas difficult to walk or stop to see the exhibits properly. What I did appreciate, however, were the new virtual experiences in some rooms, which clearly and engagingly explained the historical context and processes.

I’m sure they’re trying hard to make this the standout Egyptian museum and have spent a lot of money on it. There are some fantastic things exhibited here but….its overcrowded and it’s strangely boring and repetitive. There are too many exhibits to take in. They should have cut back on the exhibits and instead told the history of Egypt far better. The museum is all over the place in terms of its narrative. It’s thematic but really needs to be chronological and help piece together what we’re viewing. It was a real shame because I just wanted to leave after half an hour of being bored and learning surprisingly little about an interesting subject.

A very cool experience in the middle of Turin. It is the second largest collection of Egypt antiquities outside of Cairo. We had a guided tour which I would highly recommend. A very cool experience!

Very comprehensive museum on Egypt. I think I managed to go through all of it. Felt like I got a complete rundown on the entire corpus of Egyptian history. The app guide is glitchy. I downloaded some modules but sometimes it reloads if you don’t keep the phone open, and then it says you’re offline and won’t load the module anymore. So maybe the old school audio guide you can get at reception is a better option. However, the displays do a good job anyway and you can still get enough of a gist of it just with the displays. To do the entire museum, reading everything and listening to the audio guides, would take the best part of a whole day. But there’s an in house cafe at a convenient midpoint.

I didn't expect there to be so many things from Egypt. There is so much to see and learn about where things come from and their history. An amazing place. I fell in love with it. I would have liked to stay longer, but I chose the hour. But the important thing is that I managed to learn most of it.

The interactive parts were great and the props were very interesting to go through and learn about their movies. The only down side is that the dedication exhibition that changes could be smaller so that the main part had more cinema history related stuff. In addition to these the elevator is a must. The view of torino is amazing and one you don't want to miss. I also recommend getting tickets in advance since it can get crowded(having tickets for both the exhibition and the elevator can reduce the wait time drastically).

I recommend you to buy ticket for elevator and tour in advance... View from the top is amazing, all city and Alps... Inside you have to see nice museum... The history part was interesting, and the layout inside was unique. The modern cinema section (the main part) now seems a bit anachronistic, as it focuses on a fairly narrow era of cinema. The part where cinema technology moves into gaming felt the most contemporary but it was not much. Note that when I bought the ticket online, there was only the option to buy a combined museum + panoramic lift ticket. Yet when I tried to get on the lift I was told my ticket was only for the museum. There wasn’t even a way to buy the tickets separately on the website so I’m not sure how I could have done it wrong. Anyway, I decided to skip the lift rather than buy another ticket. So I’m not sure if you should buy a ticket in advance, actually.

A Historic castle that represents many historical item from different cultures and countries, as a Turk it was amazing to see Turkic items from Ottoman Empire and the diplomacy between Casa Savoia and Turks.

This castle was one of the most interesting places I have visited around Turin. I truly recommend it, although I didn’t pay, because it has free entry every first Sunday of every month. But it’s totally worth visiting.

Magnificent exterior and beautiful interior rooms with different themes. Multiple chambers with different Chinese art, galleries with portraits and other diverse paintings, a billiard room, an authentic bathroom and huge kitchen in the basement. Room descriptions are only available in Italian though.

One of the best castle around Turin, 45mins drive from Turin. Totally worth it. The best parts are the Chinese apartments, one of the most elaborate in Europe, and you still see the trace of modernity in the Castello like lift and commercial refrigerator.

Beautiful palace but it should be restored very soon...A lot damaged ceilings by water and most of the tapestries and silk covered furniture is damaged, too.

I must have travelled the freeway below this massive fort controlling the narrow passage between the steep and dangerous mountain sides more than a hundred times over the past 30 years without reflecting on what you might find inside. This time I took a day trip from home in Switzerland with the aim to discover this surprisingly interesting place steeped in history lasting over 800 years. It's now owned and administered by the region of Aosta and houses 6 museums, a large museum shop, a cozy 11 room hotel and restaurant as well as a café. If you buy a simple entrance ticket you will access two exhibitions of your choice, if you want to see all six museums, the price is about double the ordinary entrance fee. There is ample parking around the castle, the near-most being paying. Access is either via an ingenious series of funiculars or by foot on a winding road. Avoid visiting on a busy day not to spend your time waiting to access the funicular system. I came on a Friday afternoon mid May 2025 and was surrounded by 15 year olds trying to learn Italian history, not the most serene situation. You do need a full day to fully appreciate the place so I will come back to spend a night here before touring the premises.

So much to see here! There are 5? main buildings, each housing different museums and (temporary, rotating) art exhibits. Costs €12 to visit 2 of any things of your choice or €24 to visit everything. But you can visit all the exterior fort for free! This is definitely worth it if you want a quick look and get a good view from the top of the Fort. If you want to visit the museums, you'll need a few hours to spare! Our 2 choices were both in the Carlo Alberto building (at the top). We did the Museum of the Alps which has SO MUCH to see, and quite the diversity of history and information. This took us 2 hours and we didnt look too closely at half of it. Could definitely take 2-4 hours depending on your interests. Absolutely 1 of the best ways to spend a solid chunk of your day here. 2nd, we did the prisons downstairs in the same building. This was cool but much quicker (like 30 mins). It was a toss up between the prison and the Ferdinando building at the bottom.. unsure what all that offers or the time it takes to visit. In total we spent about 3 hours here, and could have spent much longer if we got the full package. Lots of history here and offers a neat view of the valley. I would recommend it, but again, you'll need time if you want to visit any museums. I personally didnt care to visit any of the art exhibitions. From what I've gathered, they kind of have nothing to do with the Fort itself, so didnt seem worth any of my 2 choices.

Have you even been to Valle d’Aosta if you haven’t visited Forte di Bard? The structure is just impressive in its size and location! Inside is pretty bare, but the museums and exhibits are super interesting.

The castle is beautiful, no doubt there. However, we wanted to take a quick walk within the walls, and there is unfortunately no ticket allowing you to just stroll around. You have to purchase a ticket for 12e which allows you to enter 2 out of 6 available exhibitions/ “museums”. Maybe it would not be that frustrating if a couple in front of us wasnt allowed to enter for free by stating “we only came for a walk” in italian. We checked the japanese exhibition which was rather mediocre, not much to learn from it. We would appreciate some story behind and more descriptions behind the pictures. The other exhibitions was the prisons which was more interesting - you can see the real prison rooms and how the castle was evolving over time.

The fortress is well maintained and houses a rich permanent exhibition (about forts and fortresses throughout history), as well as interesting temporary exhibitions. Entrance tickets: - €12 for visiting the fortress itself and two exhibitions - €24 for visiting five exhibitions Both tickets include access to the lifts. The ticket price is absolutely worth it.

Was a really interesting museum. A modern twist on wine history and leans more toward the cultural significance than the actual process of producing. Plenty to keep kids interested as well. Bonus it’s in the castle!

Somehow strange, moreover a museum for imagination and inventivity; not at all what you would expect for such museum quite expensive. Old castle refurbished. Vieux from the top terrace are beautiful - you can see all the valley! Visitors are advised to take the elevator to the third floor and go down by stairs to the basement, where they can taste and buy some wine. Tasting is not free and its cost depends on the price of wine. If you do not buy wine don’t bother to go to the basement as there are many stairs and later you have to go up :)

It wasn't what I expected from a wine museum in a positive way. The mesuem starts a bit more artsy and plays on the sensations around wine. Later there is more histroical explanations about wine, where it comes from and how culture has shifted around wine. Overal a fun experience, not too long and enough diversity and interactivity.

WiMu has a different approach to some other wine museums. Rather than focussing on the technological aspects of the wine making process, it highlights the relationship of wine to the region itself. It does so using a series of informative art installations, with a different focus each room. The third and final floor felt a bit random (some history about local schooling, plus a conference room), and didn't add much to us. Overall, this was a fun experience and definitely worth checking out when visiting Barolo

Took train from Biella. Ensure you get return ticket as nothing at Candelo train stop. Walked to Ricetta, about 10 minutes.. Free to enter. Interrstingvstone constructions. You can purchase items within the Ricetta, but we ate outside before going in. Delicious Gelato across the road too. Probably easier if you have a car. Historically interesting.

In August, it's mainly empty, Moreover at the beginning of the week. A little veg n fruits stall was open, a collection shop and artist's as well but nothing else. The place was empty. Then you understand it's mainly an attraction and it's not maintained in total respect of its origins. So the place isn't history immersive as it could be.

Stunning medieval borgo, completely maintained in medieval style. Once you enter the tiny Borgo, it's like being transported throughout history to the past. It has some boutiques and taverns to have a full experience of the place. It's really fascinating and a one-of-a-kind experience in the middle of northern Italy.

Fascinating underground tour of the caves. Guide spoke good English as well as Italian (obviously!). Tour took about 1 hour. Ring up to book a space on the tour in advance then pay on arrival. Tickets include museum entry in local town but it was closed on the day we went. Steep walk up to the start of the tour and steps throughout the cave, then steep decent back down to the car park after. Bear that in mind. Toilets and restaurant on site.

Nice place to visit especially when it is hot outside in the cave the temperature of air is around 15. Interesting to learn how stalactites, stalagmites and columns are created. It 7s interesting for kids as well.

I love caves and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. Stalactites, stalagmites, columns, calcite and arganite “flowers”, a little lake with transparent and blind crustaceans, bear bones and human / bear prints. The guided tour takes around an hour and you have to climb some steps, so not suitable for those with reduced mobility. Inside it’s just cool, rather than cold, so no need for thick jumpers. But you have to wear “proper” shoes; flip flops are not allowed. You can take photos without flash. You need to book your tickets in advance, either personally or by phone. You pay when you collect them - we paid 80 euro for 4 adults and 3 children. The entrance to the cave is 300m up so arrive 10 min early to collect your tickets and go up. There is sufficient, free parking on site and a little gift shop. There is also a café, which was unfortunately closed. At the time of writing this (Aug 2021), Green Passes for adults and masks inside the cave were required.

I highly recommend this place to visit. It’s really incredible how everything is formed inside by nature. For visitors it’s better to reserve specific time in advance in order to avoid waiting time. However if it’s not reserved there is a good cafe with a nice team on site.

I have visited this outlet regularly since its creation. What is obvious is that the quality on offer has progressively gone down with many of the stores that we liked now having moved elsewhere. And brands with good reputation appear to offer mostly their bottom of the line products, often made of synthetic materials. There are still some exceptions but you have to look hard to find them.

This is a good outlet but not so perfect. The prices are a bit higher in comparison to the other outlets. And the variety is not so high. But the atmosphere and design are nice and friendly. There are Enough toilets and parkings. But options for eating are so less.

Shopping outdoors made the experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free. There’s a great selection of stores, with something for everyone — from clothing and shoes to home goods and accessories. I could have spent hours browsing! The prices were excellent, with lots of good deals and discounts in most shops. I found some real bargains that made the trip totally worth it. Everything felt very well organized, tidy, and pleasant. If you’re looking for a day of shopping in a lovely setting, without the chaos of an indoor mall, this is definitely the place to go. Wonderful late 18th century natural thermal spring. Be careful not to burn your hands, it's about 75°C in winter! The town itself offers lots of cozy bars and cafes and comes alive in the evening

The Pombia Safari Park is a wonderful place to watch animals freely roaming around instead of being confined in cages. It’s truly enjoyable to observe them in a more natural environment. The beautiful giraffes are especially captivating, and I was really impressed by the lemurs. Overall, there are quite a lot of different animal species, and it’s fascinating to watch them in the safari setting.

Super safari with the car, seeing a lot of animals closeby. Afterwards, we visited the park, had some lunch and refreshed in the water park.

Initially I felt this was expensive at 26 euros per adult, but it's really not when compared with similar attractions elsewhere. There's a lot here, particularly on the safari route itself - we did this on the train, which took 45 minutes and would recommend this option. There are parts of the park that look a little tired, but also effort going into upgrading. It was quiet on our visit today, and plenty of staff around. Overall, a good day out with a young child and would recommend.

A very pretty square in the heart of Vigevano! It is very calm and was designed by Leonardo da Vinci! Very historic too!

Even when we visited Vigevano in one of late September afternoons the piazza was almost deserted. It seemd that people were still on holiday and most shops were closed. It had a very calm and peaceful vibes to the town. Had a quiet stroll around the Piazza and had snacks and coffee. We enjoyed the couple of hours we had there a lot.

A few years ago I read somewhere that this was one of the most beautiful squares in the world. The numerous photos by pros and tourists testify it. Being born in Piedmont, I used to visit this quaint town quite often, appreciating its medieval cobblestone alleys, to reach the piazza Ducale and enjoy an excellent ice cream. A lot has changed, nothing stays forever, but the square has maintained its grandeur. The historical shops have disappeared in favor of expensive eateries with rude and hasty service, aiming only at you spending $ on mediocre food and drinks. Head towards the hidden, narrow streets that surround it and you’ll find small pubs and food joints with courteous and amicable service and decent prices. By the way, DO visit the Sforza castle, it’s a true medieval gem with frescos, ancient and secret gardens and horse stables. It’ll satisfy your cravings for history and well kept ancient artifacts

One of many beautiful bridges I have seen in my life, but definitely not overrated. Very stunning! It's also called bridge of sighs and has an really interesting history, which is worth a google. I'm not too sure if you can actually walk over it but you dmcould view it from afar as see in the pictures or take a ride in a gondola and float along the waterways.

The places does impress the wanderers due to its vastness and abundance of various exotic expostinions. There are many interesting acquariums including both commonly known sea critters as well as even more interesting unpopular ones. If it's not enough for you, don't worry! There are a handful of beautifully recreated biomes containing the richness of coral reefs, raw desert enviroments full with beautifull animals as well as huge pool with eager to play dolphins within.

I love visiting aquariums. My favorite places among the aquariums I've visited so far are L’Oceanogràfic Valencia, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Moskvarium. This aquarium Genoa is quite small but it's easy to visit location for tourists and jellyfish tanks were lovely. I visited there during the winter off-season and there was no line so I am not sure if it was necessary to buy the on-line entrance ticket in advance.

This city is unique, special, and legendary. Although there are a lot of immigrants who create problems of cleanliness and also other kind. This aquarium is very large and interesting. It took about 2 hours to fully explord it. There are many species of marine animals here. It is always interesting to look at them and at the same time read information about them. And a large hall with a huge panoramic glass wall, through which you can see dolphins swimming underwater, was the realization of a child's dream. Sitting there, listening to the soothing music and looking at this magnificence was incomparable. Many people believe that the price of entering an aquarium is high. Maybe that's true.

We LOVED IT, this aquarium is huge and has some sea life I haven’t seen in US. We love aquariums, you can’t go wrong. Our daughter loves the jellyfish and some cool snakes in there Husband said the manatees were amazing and large variety of sea life and frogs. When you start you are on the bottom level and you go through the whole bottom level… then you go upstairs and see everything upstairs but also have a view of sharks and other animals you saw downstairs and upstairs is best for pictures of the dolphins and sharks - for me. There is also an area you can touch some sea life.

Really enjoyed the aquarium! It is quite busy as one wood expect but it flows pretty well out and back. Lots of different species of marine life to see from all over the world. Buy tickets in advance to avoid lining up twice and beware all the people outside trying to sell/force stuff into your hands.

Great place to visit for all ages. It’s a beautiful aquarium that has everything you would expect. The heating is terrible and it is hot if you go in the summer. The animals are very active and seem to be taken care of well. If in the area, it is worth your time to visit.

Visited stadium for the tour, turned out was self guided so you basically just get to wander around this famous old ground. There is a brilliant museum as well with loads of fantastic memrobelia. Jerseys , pennants etc. Was great to see but it could have been better.

We went to the Inter–Fiorentina match on Wednesday, October 29th, in very rainy weather. The entrance and access to the stadium were great, though, as with most stadiums, finding a car or taxi after the match was difficult, and transportation was heavily affected by the crowd. The atmosphere was one of the best in Europe, and the stadium itself is among the most iconic. In my opinion, it’s definitely a must-visit landmark in Milan.

Accompanied my husband with his ground hopping experience in Milan! Inter Milan v Cremonese 4-1 Inter won the game! The food trucks around the ground were great! Inside the stadium however the facilities were not so good. Toilets were tricky to get to, and there was only 4 female toilets on each level in each section (long lines at half time)! We didn’t try to get any refreshments in the ground as there was only one place opened that we saw. To get up to the seats there was a very long walk either up a huge amount of stairs or a big long walk around and around the towers to get to the top. Seats were a bit ‘snug’ and didn’t flip up, which made it tricky when someone was trying to get past in the line of chairs. On the way back down after the game, the stairs were very smelling of urine - not pleasant! Food trucks were still open after the game, and people were hanging around eating and drinking which was nice. Very easy to get the tram back into the main centre after the game.

Was in section 170 so quite low down. Had read reports that the stadium was decrepit and not pleasant but where we were was absolutely fine. Great view, toilets for both sexes were fine as well. Bit of a trek to get food and drink. Only a short few mins walk from metro. A definite must visit if in Milan.

Fortunate enough for my first game in the stadium to be the Milan derby. I was sat in section 169 which had a great view of the game. The atmosphere was bouncing. A must see for any football fan visiting Milan.

An iconic and historic stadium that every football fan should visit. However, the museum is quite small, and the stadium tour is shorter than expected. The shop had dirty T-shirts and a rather limited range of products. Still, it’s an unforgettable experience to see such a legendary venue in person.

Certosia di Pavia is a magical place. The monks who lead guided tours are extremely knowledgeable about the history of the monastery and the sanctuary. There's a little shop where you can buy some delicious local rice perfect to cook risotto.

Beautiful throughout. Amazed at how large the place was overall. Needed maintenace in the living quarters but the church portion was in much better condition. No entrance fee. Sold teas of many kinds. Has a free group guide that explains different areas in Italian.

Magnificent monastery with a truly striking gothic church embellished by masterly carved tombs and a simply majestic wooden choir. You have to join a free tour to visit the complex, departing at fixed hours and led by very knowledgeable monks. At the end of the tour a small shop offers food prepared on the premises (and from the surrounding areas, I guess)

A truly special site of spiritual and historic importance that has retained its stunning craftsmanship and artistry as well as its character and ambience over 7 centuries since its foundation. Well worth visiting especially in the afternoon when the sun shines on the western facade.

This is not about the place itself, but about one staff member. One woman shouted at us about our clothing. I calmly apologized, explained we didn’t know, and told her there was no need to shout. She continued yelling and never calmed down. Yet I fully understand that we must dress modestly. However, it also clearly says that no one should be shouting in this place, as you can see in the photo I attached. In addition, as the Bible says, “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” (Proverbs 15:1). A kind explanation would have been far more respectful and effective. However, the two young women at the entrance were lovely and welcoming.

So easy to arrive there by train from Milan, just 40 mins, 3,80€ / tickets and you ca enjoy such a wonderful historical place absolutely for free. We arrived at 14:30 and at 15:00 started a guided tour by a monk who lived there. It was very interesting and we enjoyed a couple of hours at this place.

Seeing The Last Supper at the Monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie was truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment for me. No photo or book could ever prepare you for the feeling of standing in front of Leonardo’s masterpiece. The atmosphere is quiet and almost sacred—you can sense the history in the room. I felt completely in awe, almost like time had stopped, just taking in the details and the emotion on each Apostles faces. It was absolutely worth the wait and all the planning. If you’re dreaming of seeing it, please do yourself a favor and book well in advance—tickets sell out quickly and you can’t just walk in on the day. This experience is something I’ll carry with me forever.

Visiting the Last Supper Museum in Milan requires significant advance planning, as there are no ticket sales on site. All tickets must be purchased online, and securing them is widely regarded as one of the most challenging museum bookings in Europe. Tickets are released only four times per year. For instance, tickets for the period from 1 November through 31 January become available on 30 September of that year. In addition, the museum releases a very small number of supplementary tickets every Wednesday at 12:00 PM (Milan time) for dates within the following couple of weeks. As a result, obtaining tickets often requires planning months in advance and checking the booking system diligently each Wednesday. It is, without exaggeration, a rather daunting and time-consuming process. Fortunately, we managed to secure a morning time slot during the week we were visiting Milan. Visitors must arrive at the gate 15 minutes before the scheduled entry time. The visit itself is strictly timed: you are allowed only 15 minutes inside the refectory to view Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. While brief, the controlled environment helps preserve the fragile mural and ensures a quiet, intimate viewing experience. Despite the effort required to obtain tickets, the experience is unequivocally worth it. The painting is breathtaking; even after centuries of deterioration, restoration, and careful preservation, the mastery of Leonardo’s technique remains evident. The composition, the expressions, and the sheer presence of the work are awe inspiring and offer a profound connection to one of the greatest masterpieces in art history. A visit to the Last Supper is unquestionably worth the logistical challenge. It stands as one of Milan’s most extraordinary cultural treasures.

Must do with a guide. You only get 15 minutes to see the painting so the information from the guide really helps in bringing the story alive. Our guide Silvia Zucco was excellent - knowledgeable, patient and a wonderful storyteller.

Take the guided tour. Our guide was very nice, told in detail about the history of the painting, the characters and also took us to the church. You need to explore the interior yourself ( which is the best part)! They have preserved the place very nicely.
