(Translated by Google) The clear blue water here makes the picture look very beautiful. It's just that the waves were quite strong, so canoeing was a bit tiring because of seasickness. The local tour guide is cheerful, sociable and very enthusiastic, cute and satisfied 🤭 (Original) Ở đây biến trong xanh lên hình rất đẹp mắt, chỉ là đợt mình đi sóng khá mạnh nên đi cano hơi mệt vì say sóng. Mằng Lăng Church is a must-visit for history buffs and those seeking a serene escape. The church's unique architecture, a blend of European and Vietnamese styles, is a testament to the country's rich cultural heritage. Bãi Xép is a stunning stretch of sandy beach nestled between rocky headlands, offering picturesque island views and open-air seafood restaurants. Visitors can enjoy the clean beach and breathtaking hilltop vistas, with free sunshades available for use. While swimming is restricted due to strong currents, the area is renowned for its beauty and has gained popularity after being featured in the film 'Yellow Flowers on Green Grass.'
Simple but really nice place. Famous thanks to a movie "I saw yellow flowers on green grass", young people started visiting this place more and more. It has a beautiful beach and a small hill will lots of great places for selfies and enjoying the beautiful sky. Note that it costs 20,000d/entry ticket and the place is closed after 6pm. So you better go visit it during the day.
Hoài T — Google review
Though the place is no longer “natural” as it was, especially after the pandemic, it feels a bit deserted. However, it was spectacular with windy and refreshing atmosphere. 10/10 recommended
Tuan ( — Google review
The famous beach in “Dear brother” movie of Vietnam. It used to be a secluded public beach but now a private company buy it and build a high way all around. Buy a 20k/ticket and you can drive your bike to the trail. It takes 15 mins to get to the cliff and got the spectacular view.
Nhật T — Google review
This place is extremely beautiful beach in Phu Yen. Entry ticket is 20k/ person. The view from the hill is break-taking! Blue sky-crystal clear water-while sand-black stone... the place you never forget! Could anyone recommend any destination similar with Bai Xep in Vietnam?
Nguyen T — Google review
Nice local beach that offers very long coastline. Very clean water, peaceful waves, clean sand beach with some rocks. Around evening time there are a lot of local seafood stalls showed up and offered great variety of very fresh seafood- look like an open wet m/flea market.

Hải đăng Đại Lãnh

Points of Interest & Landmarks
One of the best places I've seen so far, I'm not talking only about the lighthouse itself, but also about the cliffs and beautiful shore from the top. Besides, if you driving a bike from the south direction, you'll see no less beautiful views, I assure you😉
Никита З — Google review
On a sunny day, everything here is so beautiful! So pay attention to your weather! I was fascinated by the beautiful scenery here. Although I have been here many times, I feel great every time. The lighthouse guards are also very friendly. It's worth a visit!

Hải Đăng Đại Lãnh: A Must-Visit for Lighthouse Enthusiasts I visited Hải Đăng Đại Lãnh and was absolutely blown away by the stunning views. The lighthouse itself is a beautiful structure perched atop a hill, offering panoramic vistas of the ocean, mountains, and surrounding countryside. The hike up to the lighthouse is a bit challenging, but definitely worth the effort. The trail is well-maintained and offers plenty of opportunities to stop and admire the scenery. Once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views that are sure to take your breath away. If you're a fan of lighthouses or simply looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to visit, I highly recommend Hải Đăng Đại Lãnh. It's a truly special spot that will leave you with lasting memories.

Wake up at 4:30 am, ride a motorbike 30km from Tuy Hoa city to Dai Lanh lighthouse. Ride a motorbike and watch the sunrise. When we arrived it was around 5:20 am but everyone had arrived very early. Entrance fee is 30k per person. Parking is 10k. After that, everyone walks about 15 minutes to the top of the lighthouse. The sea view from here is very beautiful....
Mạnh K — Google review
This was a well worth the long ride, just stunning and still a bit of a secret spot. The water is crystal clear.
Harald R — Google review
A must see place for all light-house lovers. cost only 20k per person to come and enjoy the best view in the easternmost point of Vietnam. You'd have 2 choices, go up on the rented motorbikes or climb on your own feet. both ways are quite the experience. the lighthouse is kept very clean and easy to walk up on the stairs. The view is breath taking, no camera would capture its beauty to the fullness! you've gotta be there to enjoy it.
Nguyen V — Google review
Should come here 1 time to enjoy the first sunshine in Vietnam. To come there you must pay for ticket and parking fee. You can’t drive directly to, must walk for 1 km (steep road). You mustn’t reach the lighthouse (just near by) Remember prepare water, soft food.
Sơn ( — Google review
Beautiful place, pretty crowded most of the time, but the view is quite stunning. Took a bit of trekking effort to get there, around 30-45' from the gate. Best time to go there are at dawn and dusk. You can capture some priceless moment during such time. Suitable for backpack travel and tourist of all kind. The camping beach is also a pleasant bonus for the view.

(Translated by Google) Diep Son is very beautiful, fresh and the people are friendly and pleasant about the experience. Starting from Nha Trang to Diep Son, it takes about 1 hour or more if you run fast, about 60 miles. When I got there, I asked the locals for the first time. They pointed to this place, it was clearly cute. Going east will benefit from the canoe trip. The guys helped carry the trail to the canoe and then from the canoe to the island. They were surprised by the beautiful jade-green sea water, walking around and the sea path connecting the two islands was not passable. Because the country and its people are so noble. After being there for about 2 hours, I ate fried noodles with seafood and felt it was delicious but there was little food, a lot of bell peppers hehee, the waves started to get big so the staff called me to leave early so it would be difficult to get back later but the waves were really big. I was seasick, it took half an hour to get back to the mainland, I was so wet I was lucky to get home. Nchung was a memorable experience and will be willing to introduce to everyone this canoe rental location, very reputable. During the low season in November, visitors can enjoy the beach with fewer crowds, providing a sense of exclusivity.
Doc Let Beach, located approximately 49 kilometers north of Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa province, is a picturesque destination renowned for its pristine white sands and tranquil azure waters. Is this the best beach ive been to? Yes absolutely. Serene and calm. The beach was comparatively empty and not many tourists come here. The sand was white and water blue. Its a 2 hours drive from nha trang and you can spend the whole day here. You can rent a bed and relax here all day.

It is said that this is the most beautiful beach in Viet Nam, correct. The blue ocean, white sand and sunny all day but recently more and more Chinese tourists come here and make this beach noisier. There is not much resort located in here so it maintains the wild beach by itself

Dốc Lết Beach is a wonderful site 50km away from Nha Trang city. It's covered with white sand and the waves are nice. November is a low season and you have almost all the beach for yourself. Going there from Nha Trang by local bus costs you only 60.000₫ the return ticket and the bus passes by Tran Phu street, which goes alongside the beach.

Khu du lịch Ba Hồ

Mentioned on

Ba Ho Waterfalls, located about 25 kilometers north of Nha Trang, is a hidden gem nestled in lush green wilderness. The journey to the waterfalls takes visitors through picturesque coastal waters and paddy fields. The area offers an exhilarating adventure with cliff-jumping and warm water pools for relaxation. Surrounded by dense jungle, it's a popular destination for hiking and climbing. Visitors can explore three different waterfalls, each offering its own unique experience.
Ba Hồ is an absolute hidden gem in Nha Trang! The hike through the jungle to reach the three waterfalls was both exciting and refreshing, with breathtaking views at every turn. The water was crystal clear and perfect for swimming, and the natural pools felt like a private paradise. There were also adventurous options like cliff jumping and ziplining for thrill-seekers. The area was well-maintained, with friendly staff and clean facilities. It’s a perfect mix of nature, fun, and relaxation. I highly recommend Ba Hồ for anyone visiting Nha Trang — it’s a must-see spot!
Gholamreza M — Google review
It's a good half day visit. The environment is very well maintained and presented. It is nice walk to the waterfall and a fun swim. The food wasn't the best, but ok. Well worth a visit.
Sean C — Google review
We went there on a Sunday by motorbike. It was easy to find as there a many signs along the roads leading to the Ba Ho waterfall. Parking is free. You pay 185.000 dong per person and skywalk and kayak is included. You get a bottle of water per person. At the entry are shuttles who can bring you through the forest to the waterfall. We walked and it’s a beautiful clean path with toilets, trash bins and food or drink stands along the way. Beautiful atmosphere. The last part up to the waterfall is climbing up on huge rocks which are painted with arrows to lead the way. But you MUST have closed and kind of hiking shoes. It is a bit rough way and there are no ropes or sidebars to hold on. I would say you definitely need a bit better physical condition to do this. There were some younger people or old people who struggled to get up there to first level. We didn’t go further as it was enough adventure for me personally up to this level and it was about to rain. The water was not so high and it looked more like river with huge rocks and they were very slippery. Every person who got into water could not made it out selfly as there was just nothing to hold onto. I slipped a few times in the water due to massive stones all sizes which you couldn’t see as the water was not so clear. In the water many small fish trying to bite your foot and legs. That got me uncomfortable. Water was cold and refreshing, but nothing for beginners or totally inexperienced people. Because you can easily get hurt very badly. It’s a beautiful place and definitely a great atmosphere there and people having fun. But I would recommend that they put up some more ropes on the rocks to climb up and down the way or even at the lakes that you can get easier in and out the water.
Joyce T — Google review
Nice well kept natural area that’s easy access. Typical Vietnam, I felt very safe as they monitor the areas. The hike up to the 3 lakes is gorgeous, however, you need to be in good physical condition. Nobody told me about the little fish in the stream that nibble on you! I know where the aquarium fish come from that they use to nibble on your feet in tourist spots. Well worth the adventure but ring yours game for the hike.
Grant H — Google review
27.09.25 Absolutely beautiful place that I highly recommend to everyone. Besides its natural charm, special praise goes to the lady selling tickets. Her patience in answering every question and the numerous valuable tips she gave us made our visit even more pleasant. Definitely wonderful service!
Jacek — Google review
They include you mandatory canoe and skyline in the price, whether you use it or not price is same. But to use a small locker, you hace to pay extra.Buggy us also extra and unless you travel with disabled persons, it is not needed, path is pretty smooth and nice until the lakes. There is almost 0 work to keep somewhat accesible the path to lakes. Apart from some arrows painted on rocks and 2 ropes hanging from 2 rocks, there is no support to get there. Rocks are mostly super tall and unless you're above 1.80m tall, you'll have a super hard time to get to the lakes. And lakes are the nicest part really.I had to stop after 1st lake, as path to second lake turned into a 5m deep hole , super abrupt descent, vertical, with only one rope. Unless you really enjoy high risk if falling, adrenaline, descending and climbing vertical rocks by rope, you will arrive max at first lake if you are somewhat fit, with a huge hurdle and sweat. And one more thing for your safety. Don't come by bus, get a grab car even if you come from other place and need to wait more for a grab to take you. I was hit by a careless motorcycle on the way here, luckily enough I only got very bad bruises, and did not need to get medical help.
Daniela D — Google review
Beautiful, untouched scenery, clear water, and fresh air, definitely worth a visit. However, the trail is rocky and can get quite slippery, especially when climbing to the second and third pools, so it’s best to wear grippy sports shoes for safety. Recommend heading up to the areas near Pool 1 or Pools 2 and 3, as they’re quieter and cleaner. The lower area near the Skywalk can get noisy and a bit dirty, as some local visitors enter without tickets and have loud picnics or drink there.

Hot mineral springs I-Resort Nha Trang

I-Resort Nha Trang is the epitome of luxury and relaxation, offering a VIP package that includes a private mud-bath soak, mineral pool access, fruit platters, herbal tea or coffee, full-body massage, two-course meal, and a private bungalow stay. This upmarket resort features an outdoor water park, hot mineral mud baths, and a spa salon with various massage options.
Such a relaxing and wonderful day—honestly couldn’t have pictured it turning out any better. I’d seen quite a few posts and blogs about I-Resort on social media, and it had been on my list for a while. Safe to say, it lived up to the hype. We went with the Special Hot Mineral Mud package, which included: • A 20-minute mud bath • A 20-minute herbal bath • A tasty set lunch • Full access to all the other pools and zones The mud bath was surprisingly soothing, and you could feel the difference in your skin almost straight after. Silky smooth and deeply relaxed. The herbal bath had a calming aroma that enhanced the whole spa-like vibe and helped melt away any tension. We easily spent 5 hours here, but you could honestly stretch it to a full day if you’re looking to slow down and unwind. After the private soak, we explored the: • Hot mineral pools for total body relaxation • Cool plunge pools for a refreshing contrast • Waterfalls—standing under them felt like a natural massage! •. Water slides (great fun, even for adults) • Tropical pool area with palm trees and loungers—perfect for photos and just lazing about in the shade ( Adults only ) Everything felt very clean and well-managed. Staff were helpful and gave us clear instructions at each stage. Towels, lockers, and changing areas were included and well kept. If you’re planning a trip to Nha Trang, I’d absolutely recommend including I-Resort on your list. It’s not just a spa day—it’s an experience you won’t forget quickly. Honestly deserves a lot more promotion for what it offers. Tip: Bring swimwear and maybe water shoes for walking between the different areas.

We decided to take the VIP pool package. Private bath/pool beautiful room, shower and rest room. I’d attempted to book online the day before, but couldn’t get my card to work on the system, no worries tho an email arrived from the resort that a VIP package had been reserved in my name. I emailed back immediately how happy I was they found the problem and we’d be there the following day. We arrived just after 9am (traffic!), paid at the desk and a buggy brought us to our room. The hostess took our food order and explained what would happen (timing wise) through the day. 9.30am we had our mud bath (it was drawn and ready when we arrived) 10.30am pool time till 11am for the first of our chosen ‘light snacks’ I had chicken and rice - chicken leg with a cup of boiled rice and salad. Hubby had a full plate of vegetarian noodles! Fruit plate & juices. 12.30 we were back for our herbal bath, then off for Himalayan rock salt sauna then oil massage. Then off for our next ‘light snack’ we had mushrooms, vegetarian noodles, tuna sandwich (not a fan, but hey there has to be something I’m not keen on right?) fruit plate & juices. Back to the room just after 4pm. If you had energy this is when you’d head to the water park, we back into the pool area by our villa as did others who’d chosen this experience. An incredible day I’d highly recommend. It’s going to be one of my most memorable experiences of my holiday in Vietnam.

An extraordinary experience! A well managed water park with various facilities for relaxation and excitement. The mud bath is particularly good. They provide outfit and towel, you can just walk in and enjoy, size of the mud pool is subject to the number of people with spacious setting. A two thumbs up must try item! There are a number of slides, fit for kids from 3 to teenagers, or parents even grandparents. The food prices are reasonable, you can spend a whole day here without repeating the water activities.

Big territory, very clean. Convenient dressing rooms and showers. There a lot of pools with hot mineral water and some with cold-warm water. Good aqua park. A lot of palms. Good service. We bought the tickets for 170k, this place costs it. Thank you!

Great is the word that I think is the most suitable for this place. It is the most worthy destination in the journey to Nha Trang. I went with my team and took a hot mineral bath. There are many hot mineral water swimming pools, the heat level is also different, so try from the least hot lake to the hottest lake to get used to it gradually. Some people in our group also like to use mud baths. There are more artificial waterfalls, thrilling game areas. I chose to add a herbal body massage package in 60 minutes, I like to be fascinated, after finishing, the body seemed to be full of vitality, abundant energy even though I couldn't sleep all night before, the staff was also very gentle and polite. Lunch is also very delicious, fresh and clean, the toilet is also ok

The private Forest View VIP package was absolutely amazing. It included mud bath, mineral bath, swimming in the warm pool, very relaxing full-body massage, and the food was delicious as well. Highly recommended!

An excellent place for relaxation. Truly a paradise for tourists. The hot mineral spring is great, it relaxes your body. There's even a normal pool, and a water park section. There's a restaurant, whose food is also good and enjoyable. When you're spent and tired, you can just chill and relax on the chairs nearby, or even sunbathing. Overall: Wonderful place, definitely recommend visiting.

I-Resort is truly a perfect choice for relaxation in Nha Trang. There are various combo packages to suit different needs. My husband and I chose the 400,000 VND ticket per person, which included a 20-minute hot mud bath plus access to the swimming pool and hot–cold mineral pools. The locker area is well-equipped with towels, hair dryers, changing rooms, and combs, which is very convenient. After changing clothes, the staff guided us clearly on where to go and what to do, which made the whole process very comfortable. The resort mainly focuses on mineral pools and swimming pools, with three soaking pools of different temperatures, so you can choose the one you like best – personally, I enjoyed all of them. There’s also a fun experience of boiling eggs in a natural hot rock pool. The water is a bit salty due to the seaside location, but it’s not an issue. The overall space is clean, peaceful, and unique. One inconvenience is that sandals are only sold at a single counter, with no rental service, which can be bothersome when moving around. Also, there is no shower gel provided, and the “do’s and don’ts” are not clearly explained in advance. Overall, the service is good, the staff is attentive, and the relaxation experience is wonderful. Definitely worth 5 stars and highly recommended when visiting Nha Trang.

Nestled on a serene hilltop just 3 kilometers north of Nha Trang, the Ponagar Temple complex is a captivating blend of history and spirituality. Constructed between the 7th and 12th centuries, this site features four remaining Cham towers, with the North Tower standing tall at an impressive height of 28 meters. The temple honors the goddess of land and serves as an active worship site for Cham, Chinese, and Vietnamese Buddhists alike.
Impressive ancient temple complex with great views over the river and city. Entry fee is only 30,000 VND, and you can easily visit everything in 30–45 minutes. It gets very hot and crowded, so go early if you can. Dress modestly (no tank tops or short shorts), or you may be asked to cover up. The towers are well preserved and worth a quick cultural stop if you’re in Nha Trang. Not a must-see, but a nice break from the beach.

Beautiful historical place. Located on the little hill. Surrounded by greenery with benches where you can relax. Beautiful view from the terace on the Nha Trang and sea. Definitely worth visiting. You can buy ticket on arrival 30000 v d.

Very beautiful temple. Buddhist temple with Hindu elements. I liked that they didn’t painted and didn’t made fancy renovation. Looks very authentic and raw. A lot of space to set down, drink cool drinks, buy souvenirs. Recommend to walk around, had a small garden behind with beautiful trees and big rocks. There were dancers at the beginning who dance national dances with drums. Entrance fee 30.000 d. has a clean toilet near the temple. Beautiful view on the city. It was a bit busy with tourist groups, I was there around 10.40. Google maps says they open at 6, maybe it’s better to go as early as possible.
Baktybala T — Google review
This temple deserves to be visited if you happen to be in Nha Trang! It is so culturally rich and the architecture hints at the hinduistic influence of the Cham people. The temple is also very well restored and you can see which parts of the temple are new and which ones are the original. I would recommend visiting during the opening hours of the site (around 6:30-8AM) since it can also get quite crowded even in the weekdays. You can also get a guided tour which is short but informative so you can learn more about the history of the temple!

The temple is a beautiful building, surrounded by lush trees and blooming flowers. We loved the monuments and the spacious grounds. There's also a great selection of affordable souvenirs available. The entry ticket is very reasonable at 30,000 per person.

One of the best looking and interesting places to visit in Nha Trang and I didn't see there so many Russians 😉🤣 Ticket costs 30k VND, you can visit wearing shorts, they will give you a long coat if you want to go inside the temple.

Po Nagar Cham Towers is a true testament to the Cham civilization. Not only rich in cultural and spiritual values, the heritage complex is also an excellent example of architectural beauty, which is enough to capture visitors’ hearts. Long Son Pagoda is a modern Buddhist pagoda situated on a hill, offering stunning views of the city below. It is a symbol of Buddhism in the area and features a large concrete Buddha statue. Nearby attractions include the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Alexandre Yersin Museum, Nui Hon Chong beach, and Lanterns Cooking Class. Visitors can also explore local specialties at Dam Market and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding mountains and islands.
Beautiful temple and Buddha on the top of the mountain. Meet to climb up a bit. Beautiful view from the top. On the way you can buy different souvenirs, cool drinks. I went around lunch time, not that busy. On the way back from the village.
Baktybala T — Google review
We visited Long Son Pagoda on a weekend and were surprised to find it relatively quiet, which made the experience peaceful and enjoyable. The complex is beautifully maintained, with ornate temple architecture, bonsai-lined walkways, and a welcoming atmosphere. Be prepared for a bit of a climb — there are quite a few steps to reach the giant seated Buddha statue at the top, but it’s well worth the effort. The views over Nha Trang from up there are incredible, offering a panoramic perspective of the city skyline, mountains, and coast. About halfway up, you’ll find a serene reclining Buddha statue, carved into the hillside, surrounded by carved monk figures. It’s a calm spot to take a break before continuing making your way down. There is also a bell tower as well to see.
John W — Google review
The giant Buddha was breathtaking. There’s also a reclining Buddha with carvings that were so intricate in detail. It was beautiful. There’s also a golden Buddha and a lovely garden. There was no cost to enter. Being that it is a temple, it is advised to dress respectfully.
Tee — Google review
It’s beautiful 100 years old biggest Buddah statues in Vietnam, very well maintained over 100 years since. If you would like to donate, make few steps to right side where the big looked door with the slot open. The guide sign is faded, its barely noticeable how to make donations. The pagoda itself quite touristic and not much to see except these statues
Jessica P — Google review
Very peaceful and beautiful place. The big white Buddha at the top is definitely worth the climb — the view is really impressive! The stairs aren’t too difficult, but take it slow if it’s hot. On the way up, there’s a reclining Buddha and some nice statues to check out. Entrance is free, but you might meet people trying to sell incense or ask for donations — just ignore them if you’re not interested, no pressure. Tip: Dress respectfully (no short shorts or tank tops), and try to visit early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds. Nice spot for pictures and a little break from the usual touristy stuff.

A peaceful and impressive spiritual site. The giant white Buddha gazing over the city is truly awe-inspiring, and the reclining Buddha is enormous — a breathtaking sight to see. The atmosphere is calm and respectful, perfect for a quiet walk and reflection. Plenty of photo-worthy moments along the way, with great views of Nha Trang from the top. A must-visit for those seeking both culture and serenity.

Outstanding. Always a great immersive experience to lose yourself in a Pagoda, spent many times visiting those in Saigon and Da Lat and this one in Nha Trang is my first pagoda to visit in the bay and I must confess that she is beautiful and the garden is well maintained. You can access the big Buddha with the stars in the background, prepare your breath.

Mountain Church

The Mountain Church, also known as the Stone Church, is a Neo-Gothic architectural gem located in Nha Trang. Built in 1933 on a 12-meter high mountain, it offers stunning views of the city. The church features an ornate bell tower, vaulted ceilings, and colorful stained-glass windows. Its Gothic style includes tall pillars, arched windows, and saint statues.
The only downside to his revered and sacred site is the visiting hours, which can put foreign tourists in quite a pinch if they are late by even a trivial margin. Donation is possible via QR code at a fixed price of VND10,000, which is very agreeable. All in all, a very hallowed experience during my pilgrimage.

We visited Mountain Church, also known as the Nha Trang Cathedral, but unfortunately arrived outside of opening hours. The gates were closed, and access to the grounds is limited to certain times — mostly around mass. From the street, you can still see the beautiful clocktower and some of the façade, but much of the church is perched up higher on the hill and hidden behind the surrounding wall. Even so, it’s an impressive building with classic Gothic-style stone architecture that stands out from the modern city around it. If you want to go inside, here are the opening hours and mass times: Visiting Hours: • Morning: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM • Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM • Sunday (special hours): 2:00 PM – 7:45 PM Mass Times: • Sunday: • 5:00 AM • 7:00 AM • 9:30 AM • 4:30 PM • 6:30 PM • Weekdays: • 4:45 AM • 5:00 PM

A stunning example of Neo-Gothic architecture in the heart of Nha Trang. The church’s ornate bell tower, high vaulted ceilings, and vibrant stained-glass windows create a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere. Built on a small hill, it offers a lovely panoramic view of the city. Whether you come for quiet reflection, photography, or to admire the historic design, Mountain Church is well worth a visit.
Julia K — Google review
Beautiful church. I went on Easter Morning so there’s a ceremony, was really peaceful. The only thing that needs to improve is donation part. Just 10k but it makes the visit not satisfied. Locals wont pay but the guard asked me to put 10k. Small amount still, but it supposes to be from our willingness, not demanding. That’s sad 😢
Nhung T — Google review
A theme park Cathedral on earth that DEMANDS A DONATION for entry? The Nha Trang Cathedral is a magnificent structure that is worth a visit. Nice walk-up with beautiful statues along the sides for photography. BEWARE: This is also the ONLY church on earth we encountered that DEMANDS a donation. The guard at the entry will stop everyone, shout and point at a box for attention. You got a big smile in return after we DONATED VND200000 for 2. A toilet break will cost you another 4000 each at this church. The issue is not with the amount but logic. Besides the beautiful beaches, Nha Trang has a long way to achieve a grade one city status for tourism.
Michael W — Google review
The Mountain Church in Nha Trang is a stunning architectural gem, serene, well-preserved, and perched with a nice view of the city. You're allowed to sit quietly inside, which offers a peaceful moment away from the bustle. However, be prepared: although entrance is technically free, the security staff insist on a donation, making it feel more like a mandatory fee than a voluntary offering. It’s a bit off-putting, but if you can look past that, the church itself is worth a visit for its beauty and calm atmosphere.
Fachri J — Google review
Very beautiful church, we happen visit on a Sunday and mass was going on. Entering was a bit confusing because the sign said exit and guard was trying say something to other tourist pointing to the mass times on a sign. I seen the locals just walking up the stairs so I followed em.

Vinpearl Cable Car is a cable car ride that connects Hon Tre Island in Nha Trang with Vinpearl Amusement Park. It is over 3,000 meters long and takes 15 minutes to reach its destination.
This resort is a true gem! What I loved the most was the peaceful atmosphere – it feels like a private paradise away from the busy city. The landscaping is gorgeous, with gardens and walking paths that are perfect for an evening stroll. The spa and wellness facilities were exceptional. I had one of the best massages I’ve ever experienced, and the relaxing ambiance made it even more special. Dining here was another highlight. Every meal was beautifully prepared, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and always made sure everything was perfect. The little details made a big difference – welcome drinks, thoughtful room decorations, and the way staff remembered our preferences throughout the stay. If you’re looking for comfort, relaxation, and top-quality service, this resort is second to none. I left with wonderful memorizes!!!

I had such a great experience at the pool in Vinpearl. One of the staff members, Tuan, was incredibly kind and helpful — he not only kept the pool area comfortable and pleasant, but also kindly helped us inflate our swimming tubes with perfect care. He did it all with a big smile and such a friendly attitude. Thanks to him, we had a really fun and relaxing time at the pool. Highly appreciated! 👏💦

Everything is so nice and perfect. The location, service, people are gentle and polite, the villa is huge with a beach view and a swimming pool. I especially recommend the Chinese restaurant at the Emperial club. We took the whole Peking duck made in 3 différents dishes. All of them were very tasty for only 30 $. The dim sum were stunning and the mojito perfect! I highly recommend this place if you look for a nice family/friends dinner in a nice Chinese decor.
Chau T — Google review
A short trip (4 days booked) made even shorter through food poisoning. I managed to have 1.5 days in the resort, but that was probably all I will ever need. The Vinpearl resort has a nice facade, everything is surface level attractive, but when you look at the details and quality, much is lacking. You may get dripped on when walking down the hallways to your room, as pipes leaking through the ceiling are not dealt with (on every floor). The breakfast tables and chairs are heavily stained and dirty. The cupboards in your room are dusty and seem to be rarely aired out. The attendants, waiters and helpers seem to be permanently tired and impatient with their guests, don't you dare ask them a question twice. The overall feeling I get from the facilities is, they spent a lot of money on building them originally but haven't put care or effort into maintaining them. They will likely get worse frome here on. Finally, the food poisoning - I was with a group of 10 and 4 of us got sick in very quick succession. We were told that it's normal for foreigners and they can give us a late check out to make up for missing 50% of our stay with sickness. In terms of food hygiene, we saw rats in restaurants (in the Vinworld city/harbor section) countless pigeons flying around the dining area in some of the Aquaworld area, and quite a few scruffy/dirty uniforms on workers. I wouldn't recommend a stay here.

Amazing Hotel, great breakfast buffet. Gym and Spa facilities are also super good and clean. The hotel staff was always friendly and super helpful and respectful. Especially Mai in the lobby was fantastic. Would rate 10/10 if you’re looking to relax and rest and enjoy the pretty views pf the sea and mountains/jungle.

Amazing location, very quite with so many activities through the day for the kids. Onky wish we stayed here alot longer. Service for breakfast was amazing and so mamy different options. Cant wait to come back
Breeanna M — Google review
Want to get sick, then stay here! 4/10 people in our group got sick here. The management all they could say was that it’s normal here and 10 people a day get sick. But don’t worry, it’s only the foreigners and not the locals that get sick here. Also if you get sick they have their local doctor who will suggest it’s the appendix and not what it actually is: the food or the cleanliness. And to comp you they will offer a lovely late checkout. If you want to have a nice vacation do not stay here. Also before you say oh it’s because your foreigners, one of our party has lived in Thailand 3 months by now and is very used to the food in SE Asia. We also have already been in Vietnam 1 week before coming here with no issues. I also don’t recommend their room service, their pizza was awful. Here is a picture for reference. It was a Marguerite’s pizza apparently

Bãi biển Nha Trang is a stunning beach destination known for its long stretches of white sand and calm, inviting waters. The area offers a variety of beach resorts and recreational activities, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. While the main beach may not be the most picturesque, it boasts convenient amenities such as a boardwalk, gardens, playgrounds, and sports facilities.
After a rainy and disappointing few days in Da Nang, arriving in Nha Trang was exactly what we needed. The beach here is stunning—long stretches of clean white sand, crystal clear water, and a beautifully maintained promenade lined with tall palm trees and sculpted gardens. There are grassy areas with shaded benches, making it easy to relax and take in the views. The beach was lively but not overcrowded, and the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming. We saw families, couples, and locals all enjoying the space. It’s the kind of place you could spend all day without realising. We’ll absolutely return the next time we’re in Vietnam.

One of the most developed and urbanized beaches I’ve been to! Despite being in a highly urbanized city, the beach is still beautiful and the sand looks great. I’ll definitely go back!

Put aside super clear sea water. For this, you need to be other part of the world. Basically, this beach is lively. Whether in the morning or before sun set. It is always full of activities. 50-50 local or foreigners.
ZEB — Google review
Nha Trang beach 🌊 is beautiful, free to swim 🏖️, and pleasantly uncrowded. Sitting on the sand at night ✨ to watch the sea is also a great experience.
Hiếu T — Google review
The central beach in Nha Trang was honestly very disappointing. The beach itself is dirty, with a lot of trash around, and vendors constantly walking up trying to sell you things. The water was the worst part – out of 15 days, it was only clear twice (and even then, only “clear” by local standards). Most days the water was muddy, full of trash, and often covered with a strange brown-green foam. To me, it looked like waste or chemicals from ships passing by. After swimming, when I washed my swim shorts, the water turned dark green, and even the white pockets were stained. That says a lot about the water quality. This beach could be paradise if it were properly maintained – just cleaning the sand and stopping ships from dumping waste would make a huge difference. But right now, it’s not a place I’d recommend. If you want clean beaches, Da Nang is a much better option. I spent over 30 days there and the water was almost always clean (except for the occasional jellyfish, which were harmless). ⚠️ One note: most photos you’ll see online are from the rare days when the water is clear, so don’t be fooled.

The place is pretty clean and very spacious place to swim. This beach area very long, but the place near agarwood tower until in front of novotel was very crowded in the morning until noon. The little over the north has less people swimming. If you wake up early morning you might able to watch sunrise.

Bảo Tàng Hải Dương Học, located south of the city and accessible via a scenic coastal highway, is a national oceanographic museum housed in a charming colonial-era building with French architecture. The exhibition features an impressive whale skeleton, aquariums showcasing sharks and tropical marine life, as well as various conservation and research areas to explore. This institute, established in the early 20th century, is one of Vietnam's oldest scientific research institutes focused on marine biodiversity and ecology.
We went here on an afternoon. We bought our ticket here. No lines. No crowd. The area is not too big but you get your money worth. We got to see here different sea creatures. Have laboratory related to sea creatures. You can spend around 2-3hourd to explore. Not airconditioned rooms.

Must visit when in Nha Trang, can go earlier before the cable car operates since this opens at 6am. Features a wide variety of marine creatures, some relatively rare ones too such as sea turtles and sharks. While I do feel that many of the enclosures are currently very cramped, with many animals squeezed into a small space, I hope they are able to raise sufficient funds to expand their habitat. Ticket cost 40000 for adults and can be bought on-site. As we went very early, we are unsure if there will be a queue for tickets at later timings, but we did observe crowds building up at the entrance as tour groups come in.

The Museum of Oceanography in Nha Trang is a fascinating stop, especially if you’re curious about marine life. Highlights include the giant whale skeletons, colorful aquariums with turtles, sharks, and coral species, plus thousands of preserved specimens. It’s affordable and educational, though some enclosures feel outdated. Best visited in the morning to avoid crowds—worth a couple of hours if you’re in the city

Interesting place. It was pretty crowded but I went on Sunday. It has lots of fishes, some sharks and crocodiles. Also has beautiful beach view. Four stars because crocodiles area was dirty and you definitely should clean it.😢

I have been in November and there were four stray marine fanciers - including me - in the whole museum. Now is July and we have here four tourists per square meter, who mostly do not stop screaming on each other, to steam out excitement or just for fun. Three quarters of sharks from the open tank are gone, so are rainbow lobsters and few other species. Despite that, if you are fond of tropic aquatic biology, here you still can find quite something to feast your eyes on. Friday, 11 am

There is a reason why this museum is a staple in every single travel agency’s itinerary when it comes to Nha Trang. This is the place to catch a glimpse of which creatures lurk under Vietnam’s Eastern Sea. There are texts introducing them in their scientific names, common English names, and localized names, in both living form and preserved specimen form. Whether you care little about the biological significance of it all, or you are a die-hard nature loving nerd, this is the place for you. I only leave a four because I find the displays still a little bit lacking. I’m most interested about the wet specimens, yet that part is close off to the public.

Hygiene toilet, great coffee and fruit juice. Many choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Great hospitality in general. Lunch time is crowded, making food reservations would save your waiting time. If you have time, playing kayak with family or friends (free of charge) would be fun.

It's a good place to take a rest when traveling to Da Lat cross the hills. Beautiful decorations, nice staff, good service and delicious foods. You can also buy local specialties and souvenirs here. Parking lots are available but a bit messy (need to improve by letting staff navigate and arrange the vehicles)

Thác Yang Bay is a beautiful waterfall that offers more than just a natural wonder. The entrance fee covers access to activities like mud baths and soaking in warm spring water, making it worth the cost. Families with young children will find it suitable as there is a mini zoo with ostriches, peacocks, and crocodiles. Visitors can also enjoy attractions such as ostrich riding, pig racing, and crocodile feeding.
What a beautiful place, waterfalls, small rivers and lakes. And of course animals, cute guinea pigs, ostriches, carps and lazy crocs) But the best thing for me it's the Tree of Wishes.

Pure nature, peaceful, relaxing and worthy to visit, even family with children or young people. We will return there.

A tropical park with zoo, waterfall, ostriches riding, pig racing, croc feeding, mudbath and who knows what else. Would be good for kids. A lot of sculptures of all kind of animals including dinos. It is best you call ahead to check what is awailable at the date you go. Maybe there is a performance.. for a place 50 km into the mountains it is a 5 star.

A beautiful waterfall worth visiting, the entrance fee may look expensive but it’s inclusive of mud bath and soaking in warm spring water. Suitable for family with young children too as there are mini zoo with ostrich, peacocks, crocodiles to name a few. Easy walk with not much trouble moving around. You can easily spend 1/2 a day or full day trip to this place.

Very commercial. If people enjoy this. I respect that, but honestly I think this is an afront to nature, asphalt everywhere kitsch plastic statues everywhere. Not my cup of tea, if you are a nature/waterfall lover I am afraid you need to go elsewhere. There are a lot of gorgeous waterfalls in vietnam, but some of them are very hard to get there without a good motorbike and offroading experience. Again some people might enjoy this, but don't go in expecting any real nature, it is very commercialized.

Suprise you got to pay to see this once beautiful bit of nature transformed into a poor pseudo Disney land with statues of animals that are not native like kangaroos tigers etc. The bus driver and the one at the bus stop are very unfriendly they prefer to sleep or play with their phones. Even if driving.
Johnny C — Google review
It seemed little bit old. I think it will be much better if they renew some points because they have a good resources like real nature and crocodiles. To make people come, need more site to seat like chairs and benches(there were few pay sun beds) to enjoy waterfall. (I really wanted to come to a glass wall coffee shop with airconditioning system for a second.) Another new Botenical garden will be also fine. Best vew points are falls, happy tree, feeding fishes and crocodile. Hope they can make it more attractive!

Good falls half an hour away from Nhatrang city with some swimming ponds. Entrance fees. There's a kind of small zoo with reptiles, ostriches (you can ride them by paying 40k$).

Quiet place where local people find pleasure in swimming in the small river somewhere BBQ,listen to the birds or cicadas playing, perfect in other words.

The rivers were great. Most of that we could reach by car was clear cut and planted with banana and mango.

It seems some construction is going on. They don't let you go beyond Kong's Adventure and even there I was not able to talk with someone who speaks english. Maybe it would have been diffrent on a weekend!? The road is not in the best condition, but one can manage with a scooter. I was just praying not to get a flat tier. It's a long journey from Nha Trang, but there are some nice spots, where you can go to the river. If the weather would have been better, then I would have hiked and explored a bit more. Sadly not seen the waterfall and also gotten no information why! But if you like to ride a bike and get out of town to be in nature could still be worth it for you. Maybe to join a tour and stay at the Adventure Park. I don't know if they are ready to host foreigners... It will be an adventure that's for sure. The river is quite beautiful!

In Vietnam there is a Mr. Binh San. a man with a vision and mission. the cordiality, passion for nature is unprecedented. the love for nature too. It is beautiful how being one with nature is, away from all luxury, away from all stress and being lived. come to yourself for a moment, in short, back to your own self. thank you Mr Binh San

An amazing ride to go to the top. Nature is everywhere: pure water spring, beautiful trees and plants, the roads is very quiet and fresh. You can easily stop near the stream "suoi dau" to swim and make bbq for the lunch (don't forget your trash plz...).

As previously said the place has been closed for years. There is locked a boom gate after kong park. They really should have a sign on Google Maps and at the entry. River is pretty but there is garbage all along the way which is pretty depressing to see.

Road was closed due to land slide, but no notice until you got half way up to it. Too far to walk up, so very disappointed. Check conditions before heading out.

A wonderful place. A Buddhist monastery with an open entrance for everyone and many sculptures placed in a huge garden. A beautiful, neat place. We went ourselves. Also offered something like an attraction - a passage through a narrow underground passage and your sins will be forgiven
Andy K — Google review
Pagoda Tu Van in Cam Ranh Pagoda Tu Van, located in the picturesque coastal city of Cam Ranh, Vietnam, is a remarkable architectural gem that captivates visitors with its unique construction and stunning decorations. This pagoda is not just a place of worship; it is a celebration of the natural beauty found in the ocean. One of the most distinctive aspects of Pagoda Tu Van is its innovative use of materials sourced from the sea. The structure incorporates coral shells, seashells, and other marine elements mixed into concrete, creating a fascinating texture and appearance. This choice of materials not only reflects the local environment but also symbolizes a harmonious relationship between nature and spirituality. The pagoda's size is impressive, with sprawling grounds that invite exploration. Its architectural design combines traditional Vietnamese elements with creative, ocean-inspired motifs, making it a unique landmark. The decoration within and around Pagoda Tu Van is truly enchanting. The grounds are adorned with beautifully crafted dragon statues, which are significant in Vietnamese culture, representing power, nobility, and good fortune. These sculptures are intricately detailed, showcasing the skill of the artisans who created them. In addition to the dragons, vibrant flowers bloom throughout the pagoda's gardens, adding splashes of color and enhancing the serene atmosphere. The combination of natural beauty and artistic craftsmanship creates a peaceful retreat for visitors seeking reflection and tranquility. Pagoda Tu Van stands as a testament to the creativity of its builders and the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam. With its ocean-inspired architecture, stunning decorations, and serene ambiance, it offers a unique experience for both locals and tourists alike. Whether you are drawn by its beauty, spirituality, or the fascinating use of marine materials, Pagoda Tu Van is a must-visit destination in Cam Ranh.

Very nice temple. I liked how it was not crowded. Feels less touristic than other places. Just about an hour from Nha Trang, I recommend if you have time. The road is also fun to do on a motorbike, there is not much traffic and you can follow the coast for the first part.

This place is beautiful, unique and has a hidden gem - really long underground tunnel which starts at dragon's mouth. This tunnel is really scary and bats inside freaks you out. If you like adventures it's a must do! Fully recommend
Adrian S — Google review
A beautiful temple, a very long tunnel, but which has no exit on the other side, you have to go back along the same road to get out
Dmitrii D — Google review
The temple appeared in poor conditions and needed regular maintenance. There seems to be a collection of many different statues under its roofs but many of them need cleaning or repair.
Ben T — Google review
This is the most unique pagoda I’ve visited, decorated with seashells and corals and featuring a massive dragon tunnel/cave called “18 Floors to Hell.” The experience is incredible but not for everyone—tight spaces make it challenging for the claustrophobic, overweight, or very tall individuals. Bringing a backpack was a mistake as well, but exploring the tunnel’s winding paths was super epic. A must-visit for adventure tourists!
Norbi — Google review
Very unusual temple 🛕 fantastic coral and shell pagoda ,the temple is quite modern relatively speaking the pagoda being built in 1968 definitely worth a visit and a relax 😌 the large dragon is actually a good walk inside and you will see bats on the celing

It was our first time and we would definitely come again. The team is friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it a lot. The kite spot is great and the team supports you with starting and landing. We stayed in a VIP room and it was very clean, but the beds were a bit hard for my taste. Also unfortunately there was an unpleasant smell sometimes coming from the bathroom. Besides from it was a 9/10 experience and would definitely come again!

Great place, its my second year training in Phan Rang and Phi Kite School is the place to be. I came last year to compete in the big air comp and loved it so much we stayed for the rest of the season! I just competed in my second comp at Phis, King of the lagoon, incredible comp the organization was literally flawless and the vibes were high!! Phi & the team treat you like family, always smiling faces, ready to help and great vibes. The rooms have everything you need (comfy bed, tv, aircon, hot water). The food is top & its a great upwind location & the beach boys are on fire! Nice bar area and plenty of events hosted by the team, really social place :)

I am an intermediate kite surfer, and I took a lesson with Lois at Phi kite school.Great experience.Lois is an excellent instructor, and I made significant progression through my session.Lois also took me outside of the lagoon, and into the waves at MyHoa.That was a great experience, and gave me the confidence that I was previously lacking to go into the waves on my own. I thoroughly endorse Phi kite school.

10 STARS! For the past 6 months I've been on the lookout for kite communities, and this one is BY FAR the best one I've came across. It was recommended to me by several person, and Phi's delivered! In November 2024, I've spent around 4 weeks in My Hoa, and Phi's felt like family. What I loved: The food, the shop, the kiteschool, the cocktails, the social activities (movie nights, celebration dinners, pool tournaments, yoga & pilates, etc... ), the local hero's, the ice baths, ; but by far: THE TEAM. Endless thanks to Phi, Hien, Matt, and Andrea. You manage to transform a group of strangers into a community!

For the second time, I had a fantastic time with Phi and his team. The kite spot is reliably windy and the shallow water in the lagoon is pleasant for kiting. No annoying body drags😊 The whole team is very competent, helpful and creates a friendly atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to the next time. Thank you very much.🤗 Markus from Basel

It was fantastic! Everyone is very friendly, the place is clean, and the food is delicious. The lagoon is great for kitesurfing, and you can rely on the kite instructors and beach crew. The team is really motivated. Even the boss was very helpful and extremely friendly. Due to personal reasons, we had to adjust our travel plans. He helped us with the organization wherever he could. Great atmosphere. We will definitely come back!

Laid-back Kite Paradise! We stayed two nights at Phan Rang Kite Center with my girlfriend and absolutely loved it. The whole setup is super convenient with the launching spot just 50 meters from the accomodations, which made everything easy and flexible. On our arrival, the owner was there to welcome us, and we really liked staying in the chalet with outdoor shower. Took two beginner lessons focused on water starts, and made real progress. The instructor, Huong gave super clear guidance, which made a big difference. Had two good days of side-onshore wind with good tides in the lagoon! Was nice to watch local riders doing tricks right by the beach. The relaxed vibe made us feel at home. Tasty breakfasts and cheap beers were the cherry on top.

Super spot for kiting, and the instructors and the owner are absolutely fantastic. Very calm in the evenings, but busy during kiting hours. Also great to take a scooter and ride north to multiple spots.

I visited the Phan Rang Kite Center in February, and all I can say is: Wow, what a paradise! The people there are super warm – I was greeted like a long-lost cousin who finally found his way home. Everything was spotless, the location right on the beach is just perfect, and the wind showed up every single day like clockwork – a reliable coworker who never calls in sick. The food? A dream! The kitchen whipped up delightful treats that almost lured me off my kiteboard and back to the restaurant – almost, because the kiting was just too good. And the drinks? Fresh coconut, mango, pineapple – you name it, they had it! The rest of the staff did an amazing job: awesome kiting tips (I now look like a pro, or at least close enough), always a smile on their faces, and a chill vibe that was totally contagious. The neighbors were great too – no party-poopers, just pleasant company. In short: If you’re after kiting, great food, and a heartfelt atmosphere, the Phan Rang Kite Center is your spot. I’m already plotting my return – maybe I should just move in? 10/10, would take off again!

Decided to come here on a whim from the US been here 2 weeks now and dont want to leave! Great staff, equipments and launch support. The lagoon is flat and vast while the bigger surf are 1/2 mile out for best of both worlds. Cant say enough good things about the people here. Will be back often

Nhật L — Google review
The kite center is perfect! The local boys are super attentive and experienced when launching and landing kites and overall organize the kite beach very well. There is a place for pumping and washing kites on a carpet so no need to battle sand all the time. Also, the beach bar offers ample places to sit and watch the action and very good food/drinks/coffee for reasonable prices when you need to refuel between sessions. The personnel and Son, the owner, are all amazing and really made me enjoy my stay there! (Jan/Feb for 3 weeks) The kite spot offers a large variety of conditions from flat to waves. First ~500m are a shallow lagoon - for me probably the only downside because in low tide or low high tide it is almost empty (the locals are not afraid to jump on this but landing in 30cm of water with random stones underneath requires more courage and skill). However, even in high tide it is still mostly flat so perfect for learning. Behind the lagoon there are most of the time beautiful kickers for jumping. And jump here you can! The wind is most of the time super strong (speaking for Jan/Feb) - not really going below 20kt, usually towards 30kt with gusts going above that. There were days I was surviving on my 7m kite (I have 80kg). Overall a great experience, thank you!

I visited here as a windsurfing trip. The property is located on the beachfront, with bungalows, tents, clubhouse(Restaurant & Bar) and setting area all within 100 meters. At this place, everything is simple, full of nature, smile and kindness. The owner, Etienne, is trilingual and speaks Vietnamese, French and English, also he is a super nice guy. If you pick a right time of the year, the wind here never let you down. I used 3.4-4㎡ (60kg weight) during my stay which I've never used these small sails in my life before !! If you check the tide chart and set your trip right time of the month, you can practice for about 5 hours a day. (If you have enough energy…). Number of the windsurfing rental equipment are limited, so more suitable for individual windsurfer rather than groups. If you bring-in your own gear, freestyle or wave board are good choice. (recommendation : shorter than 19cm fins) Slalom boards are likely to have trouble because their fins are too long. People on the water, ratio is 99 : 1, kite surfer to windsurfer. Also, the wifi here is surprisingly good. I didn't feel any stress at all as an internet environment. Hope I'll come back next year again !

Poklong Garai Cham Towers Located on Trau Hill along National Highway 27A, just 7 km west of Phan Rang City, the Poklong Garai Cham Towers are a remarkable complex dedicated to King Po Klong Garai of the 12th century. The site consists of three towers: the Main Tower, Fire Tower, and Gate Tower. This architectural masterpiece represents the pinnacle of Cham art, sculpture, and construction.

How It Feels to Arrive at Po Klong Garai Tower – A Surprise Trip Back in Time (No Time Machine Needed) The moment I stepped foot on Po Klong Garai Tower, I felt like I’d accidentally wandered into a history documentary — minus the dramatic narrator and cheesy music. Perched peacefully on Trau Hill, basking in the signature sun of Ninh Thuận, the tower rises like it’s been waiting for centuries just to say, “Surprise! I’m still here.” Every brick and pattern screams ancient vibes only — not dusty or dull, but full of mysterious charm, like an old soul that still remembers how to party. The silence? Sacred. The breeze? Suspiciously poetic. I found myself sitting there, trying to absorb the culture like my phone absorbs Wi-Fi. Forget theme parks — this place has real emotional rollercoasters. It’s not just a tourist spot; it’s a whole moment. You come for the view, but stay because your soul’s been lowkey touched by Cham architecture. 10/10 would time-travel again.

Đồi Cát Đỏ, also known as the Red Sand Dunes, is a striking dune system located near the sea in Mui Ne and Phan Thiet. These dunes offer a unique experience with activities such as sand sledding and breathtaking views of the sunset. Situated just a few kilometers from the city center, they are easily accessible on foot or by tour.
Very pretty! If you’re not doing the jeep tour, go during the day and it’s basically empty! We took some awesome photos.

Red Sand Dunes. Whoever named this place clearly lost a fight with a Crayola box. Spoiler: it’s not that red. It’s more like “slightly dirty orange” or “did someone spill paprika on the beige dunes.” If you came here expecting Mars, congrats, you just landed in your neighbor’s cat litter tray after taco night. What’s actually here? Sand. Shocking, I know. A few locals selling drinks and snacks because, let’s be honest, they know you’ll cave once the sun starts deep-frying your soul. That’s it. No ATVs, no cinematic vistas, just a sandy hill and your own bad life choices. But here’s the plot twist: it’s free. And that alone makes it superior to White Sand Dunes, where you pay actual dongs just to get sunburned and robbed by gravity. Here, you just stroll in, sink into sand that looks like it gave up trying to be red, and pretend you’re cultured while sweating through your clothes. So yeah, Red Sand Dunes: still boring, still sand, but at least your wallet survives. Call it the Costco sample version of tourist traps—cheap, slightly disappointing, but somehow better than the overpriced full product.

There are not only here to play the sand dune. this is just one of it. My driver bring here when I say I want to go to sand dune but so at first we just want to take photo and leave to the ATV place but after we takephotos. there was a local girl offering us to play the sandboarding and my friend want to play it since the price they offer is 50k/board so we think wejust want to rent for 2 board only and just take turns to play. we need to walk few minutes to arrive at place where not so many people and play there. thegirl offer to take our pictures and record videos of us playing that sandboarding. After the session end, she ask for tips and we agree to give tip100k. my friend already give 100k to her but she ask for another 100k to give to her mum. we pissed off because its too much as we are not that rich to givetip 200k easily! but because most of us are soft hearted so we give 50k more to her. that’s all. So moral of the story, if they offer to take your picture, just say no if don’t want to pay tips at the end of the game. if you want to play ATV, you need to go to other place, not here. I will share it at the next review.

Family had a blast! Best to go early morning when its not hot and less crowded. Free to wonder around, 50k for sled, and great scenery for desert and ocean view

Very pretty but wait till you’re at the top to hire a sand board and make sure you have enough to tip the woman or she won’t like you.

Nice place and sliding but when I tipped 40k for 10 minutes (which I think is ok for Vietnam) he got angry and yelled at me to give him more. So just go alone and don’t use any service of local people as it will destroy your experience of this place.
