Beautiful place to experience the serenity and grace of the Franciscan spirituality. A place so dear to St Francis of Assisi. Set amongst a hill top cliff, it speaks of all things Francis, nature, serenity, wildlife.

It was indeed a gem. We had a lot th whole day. Prayer, meals, encounter, tour around the place and concluded with a procession and a mass.

Absolutely STUNNING PLACE whether you are believer or not. It is very suggestive place in the mountains in province of Arezzo (Tuscany). It consists of couple of buildings of sanctuary, church, chapels, place where Saint Francis received the stigmas, small museum, shop. You can feel strong spirituality and huge peace there. When i entered the church, one of Franciscan monk played the grand piano and I burst into tears without reason. We didn't planned this visit on our journey, we were with our dog, which was not a problem everywhere outside. Please pay attention, there is about 5-7 degrees colder in this valley, we suggest to take jumper or jacket with you. We ate local "piadinas" in small bar near the parking place. Surely WORTH OF NEXT VISIT AGAIN.

A decade ago, I visited the Fortress of San Leo, and I was really impressed by how well-maintained the construction still was. One of the most striking parts of the visit was the torture room, where people accused of heresy, like Cagliostro, were imprisoned by Pope Pius IV. The tools used for torture were on display, which gave a chilling but fascinating glimpse into the past. The region itself is full of culture and offers stunning landscapes, plus the food in Emilia Romagna is incredible—definitely a highlight of the trip!

Tricky to rate this. We went mid may. Clouds had rolled in so not much of a view. Went to the tourist info area which seemed to be closed even though someone was inside. We decided to walk up to the castle. The pedestrian walkway was very crumbly and slippy. Not good. Again the ticket shop was lit up and sort of open but no one inside. There was an automatic ticket machine. We pressed the English translation button. All it did was change the top word to "Entance" but the rest stayed in English! Worked out as a 10 euro entry. But no one to tell what there was and no views due to low cloud decided not to go in. Walked back down the road rather than go down the dodgy steps. The town itself was nice with an interesting church. We were unlucky with weather but the service could have been better.

Impressive structure and great views. However inside is less impressive, mostly empty rooms (which is understandable given it’s previous role as a prison). Majority of information in Italian only. If you are a fan of torture tools, you will see plenty inside.

We followed the steep, zig zag path up the hillside through the forest to arrive in front of the castle. The castle looks like a state of the art 16th century creation and the location must have made it almost impregnable to assault, with sheer cliffs on almost every side and just one narrow road leading up to it. Entry was 10€ and we spent a couple of hours there as there was so much to see. The views were the most obvious and spectacular thing - all the way to the Adriatic Sea and possibly San Marino, with every hilltop on the Appenines seems to have a castle on it. There is a well marked route through the castle with the fortified tunnels and fireports followed by the original prison cells and exhibits of torture and the inquisition. The inner structure had barracks, armouries, cells for Papal prisoners and a museum about the life of the enigmatic Cagliostro. He was the most famous prisoner of the fortress, a confidence trickster who travelled throughout Europe and mixed with the rich and famous, involved in alchemy, freemasonry and healing and regarded as a heretic by the church. His death sentence was commuted to life imprisonment in the fortress. He had a small cell with no door, he was lowered in from the room above, where his guard stayed and watched him through a grille and spyhole. I'm sure the view lost its appeal after a while and he died after 4 years in his cell. The armouries had a mixture of medieval, WW1 and WW2 weapons, quite a comprehensive collection! We sat and had an ice cream from the museum shop before doing a final circuit of the walls and then carefully making our way down the path.

Very nice and quiet place. You can buy the tickets directly from the touch machine at the entrance. We didn't manage to go inside as we had the dog and nobody was in the office area to ask if it was possible to enter with the dog. It was less busy then we expected but the view is nice from outside as well.

Lovely place for a day trip - especially if you like walking, castles, history, and great views! You could spend many hours inside the castle looking at all the artifacts and watching the films they have about the castle. If you spend time walking around everything then it's well worth the €9 entry fee.

Wonderful visit on a very foggy day but still worth it. Easy walk up hill that is well sign posted. Good signage inside. Probably great views but not the day I visited as you can see in the photos.

Marinando is still stunning in autumn and with its historical charm and the ancient Ponte di Tiberio, a 2000-year-old Roman bridge still standing strong.

Beautiful old bridge, fantastic area for just chilling in sun, surrounded by great food. Lots of nice seats overlooking water, and access to park. Spent more time here than beach!

Very old!!! I cannot believe I can stand on a bridge that was built in Jesus's lifetime! It feels as though you are connected to ancient roman days. Truly incredible. It's funny to see the locals pass by you without thinking about the deep historical context. Just wow.

Absolutely loved the old Roman bridge, Ponte di Tiberio! It's majestic and the fact that all the arches stand on a single foundation, and have been for so long, is amazing too.

Absolutely amazing to think that this bridge is over 2000 years old and still being used to this day to carry all sorts of transport over it, the Romans certainly new how to build things that could withstand the test of time, awesome

Great little theme park. More aimed at children under 10 but plenty of older couples and families visit too. Nice to see all the major landmarks and walk around them.

Tbh I wasn't expecting much and it was a spur of the moment thing to fill an afternoon. Once through the doors it's actually a pretty cool place. There is so much detail everywhere. I found so many locations that I would love to visit on our next italian trip and it's laid out in a representation of the country. There was so much more to see that I realised at first. Some places were not open but that was the only blotch on an enjoyable visit.

The most amazing tematic park we've ever been. Attractions, miniature Italy and Europe, the remake of Piazza Italia and Venice by boat is simply amazing. We spent a fantastic day there, highly recommended.

Very nicely done with many side activities for children, the map is done with attention to detail, trains and boats coming and going, the venice boat trip is especially nice. Needs about 3-4 hours to absorb it all, but even more time can be spent here with options to eat, coffe and sweets.

A must-do experience. There’s something for everyone here, much more than we expected before we went. Quite a magical place, considering how much effort must go into each piece of art to display one area of Italy. You learn a lot on your way around as well, with the quiz. There’s moving parts around every corner, especially the train system is constantly in motion, very impressive. The Venice experience was nicer than actual Venice, as we didn’t have to fight any crowds! Overall exceptional in terms of value for money and experience. Highly recommend it.

We had amazing time with the kids. We visited for evening visit (18-23h, special dates this summer), when every ticket was only 10euro and all the rides were free. Definitely worth a visit!

A very nice place to spend a few hours. In addition you have some attractions like log rides, monorail train rides, mini parrot zoo, ride in gondola through Venice in miniature and carousels for small children in Pinokio themed park . We visited in the morning and there was no long wait anywhere. Later it's getting busier. There are refreshments available on the site and souvenir shops. Buss no 8 goes straight from Rimini to Italy in miniature. Highly recommend.

This museum is biggest in Italy and is one of the most captivating,interesting and with so much art diversity of pairings and sculptures. They also have Venus sclupture ,and many other beautiful sculptures such as Michelangelo. One of the best Art Museums for painting and sculptures in the world ,

This might be misleading as I haven't been inside the building. But I have been to the underground parking lot right underneath it — and there's a whole other art museum worth looking at. Found it by an accident, no regrets.

Lovely art museum, but be prepared that everything there is written in Italian language and nothing in English..

They have the most thoughtful and interesting curation of large shows. We saw the auto-portraits and it was outstanding.

The Pre-Raphaelite exhibit was so very, very good! As an older person I wish that I had been able to visit the exhibit twice - too much for one visit. Also the informational signs should be bigger - hard to see and many people at one time trying to read them created a bit of a crowd. BUT SO WORTH SEEING!

Wonderful museum with a very thoughtfully curated collection. Definitely worth visiting! Just have google translate on your phone to help with the descriptions.

A beautiful amusement park with everything you could want and more. For all ages. Water attractions, such as adventure rivers, water jumps, and water slides. High-speed slides of various types and difficulty levels. Simulations, entertainment, and all kinds of shows. Of course, all kinds of food. If you have tickets to both parks, entry is faster at Mirabeach. But the reception is only at the main entrance.

I had such an amazing day here! Despite not being the biggest amusement park ou there, it is certainly a good one! The staff is super welcoming, the food offered is delicious, and most importantly, the costumer service is amazing! However, the queues are usually gigantic, so I do recommend getting the flash pass, otherwise the experience might not be as enjoyable! Additionally, if you have any disabilities or special needs, the park also offers a flash pass for people with special needs!

We loved our visit to Mirabilandia! The park is very clean and beautifully maintained. The attractions are well chosen for adrenaline seekers - iSpeed, Katun and especially Divertical, which is both a water ride and a thrill ride (you will definitely end up wet on that one!). This park is a great complement to Gardaland - each has its own style. Mirabilandia feels slightly less tailored to non-Italian-speaking visitors, but everything was still easy to understand and enjoy. Other water rides were also fantastic. Although we visited as two adults, we noticed plenty of areas and attractions for younger visitors too. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Amazing fun park with lots of things to do! I especially love the rollercoasters, they have few of them on a world class level. The end of the day was in a style - with Hot Wheels acro show, and also water jetpacks audio-visual show to close the night at 10pm.

Was a really nice and refreshing vacation,but make sure to buy your tickets online in advance and buy the flash pass regular from the website all for 50€, because if you dont there is minimum wait time of 30-50 min a ride, and it you decide to buy it there only the flash pass costs 50€ and the ticket there also costs 50€ to enter which is personally think is unfair, would love it more if they didnt cut the closing time by 6 hours since schools started, Its understandable that the workers have kids and everything but to cut it from 12pm to 6pm is something else, otherwise most of the staff were friendly except a few, but it was a nice experience for a theme park.

Great park, lots to do. Buy fast pass if you want to experience everything (mutliple times) with no stress. Hot Wheels show is a must-see.

Absolutely beautiful. There was a wait wait for buying the tickets so definitely recommend buying the online. There was also a gift shop with all kinds of stuff from mosaic kits to socks, the prices were kinda high though. As for the inside, it was absolutely beautiful and it was pretty clear that it was an ancient basilica build by the Byzantinians. A part of it was also destroyed but now it has been rebuilt. There's lots of mosaics in the basilica so it's definitely worth it checking out. The ticket also give you access to another famous attractions (it can be 2 or 4 depending on what you want)

Basilica of San Vitale absolutely wowed me! The moment I stepped inside, I was surrounded by shimmering mosaics that feel alive, gold, emerald, and sapphire scenes glowing from every angle. The portraits of Justinian and Theodora are breathtaking up close, and the octagonal layout gives the whole space a serene, almost otherworldly vibe. If you love art, history, or just beautiful places, this is an unforgettable stop in Ravenna. Five sparkling stars from me!

San Vitale resolves structure and image into one coherent drama. The octagon holds a wide ambulatory with a second, raised gallery above it, so the building reads in concentric rings. Overhead a lightweight tube-built dome still claims eight sturdy columns, an honest frame for what follows. Marble revetment is book-matched and cool; above it the apse blooms with gold: Abraham’s hospitality opposite the sacrifices of Abel and Melchizedek, then Christ on a blue globe offering the crown to Saint Vitale while Bishop Ecclesius presents the church. Along the flanks, the imperial processions of Justinian and Theodora advance with quiet ceremony. The light is low, but it serves the purpose: tesserae catch and release a warm, shifting glow, so the theology seems to move as you do.

An extremely beautiful and historic Basilica right in the heart of Ravenna. The mosaics are extremely beautiful and impressive, shows you the level of detail and craftsmanship that was put into this stunning work. Built nearly 1700 years ago, the building has not shown many signs of decay and is worth the ticket price to enter. It seems smaller from the outside, but the inside is incredibly large. Will visit again!

Unfortantely there is an ongoing reconstruction indoor, but this is an unskippable attracion of Ravenna. This was my favourite site of all, and I highly recommend. It is part of the 3- and 5- attraction ticket, which is affordable. Let the pictures speak…

À lifelong ambition satisfied and it was well worth it. We visited to October and it wasn't too busy. The mosaics are stunning.

Some very beautiful mosaics in this basilica. I recommend buying your ticket online to avoid long queue times at the ticket office.

We ordered the room trough Booking and got totally different room - smaller ofcourse. With terrace that is locked with two locks. So you pay for a spacious room and get a tiny room in the attic. When we wanted to sort things out with the owner he/she? (They dont answer the phone, comunicate only via whatsapp text messages) told us that booking is mixing pictures which is not true. Anyways the owners manners were absolutely horrific, he in fact told us to leave him alone.. There are many better acomodations in Ferrara, please support them. People running this place are the worst.

They charged for consumption of snacks that did not occur, and I never gave them my card information directly, meaning they got it from either Booking or Nexi. They provided the wrong WiFi information, but with a good amount of insults as I confronted them.

I'am very disapointed with this acomodation. I feel cheated and disgusted. We booked this acomodation via booking and unfortunatelly did not checked the reviews on google. The acomodation is something absolutely different than what we saw on booking pictures. Also there should be tereace which is locked, dirty and behind the grids. The acomodation is totally not matching the photos and hosts actions and communications is behind any boundaries of good manners. I definitely do not recommend it.

Although I found this on a day use hotel website they claim they're not. After calling and trying to reach them to get a better proper answer they just hang up the phone or don't answer it. I came to Ferrara to have a rest here on purpose and now have no where to go. The minimum is to answer the phone or door! Been standing outside ringing the bell and nothing. Dear team be careful where you put your business! Thank you , hope that help and now I'm just going to take a nap in the street , thanks to amazing professionalism.

One of the worst hotels I've ever been to. They have the central A/C system and they set it to 25°. Do you call that A/C? Had to complain several times to set it to 21°. The bed was really bad. It makes a very disturbing noise every time you move. After changing the towels, they provided just one big towel for two people. Extremely disappointed.

A very impressive castle surrounded by the greenest water I’ve ever seen. Located just at the entrance of Ferrara medieval beautiful down town. What makes it more perfect is that it is absolutely free of charge, no entrance fee, no packed tourists. Just for you to enjoy it by yourself…

Every city or town has its iconic monuments, etc. I like to visit small towns instead of big cities. Ferrara is a unique, small town.

This is a lovely piazza to visit with many sculptures surrounding the water and grass area, however there isn't much else to do unless you visit on a market day. We caught the stall holders clearing away on the Saturday evening, so there was a lot of plastic mess around the piazza but it was all clean by the Sunday. You can walk the length of Via Roma towards the Prato delta Valle and also visit the Botanic Gardens and Basilica. If approaching from Via Roma, there is a supermarket on the opposite side of the piazza.

So many statues, and the four bridges! The main square is huge. The basilica is well worth seeing, as is the church to the N (1 block) of the park. FYI, there are some cute 'tourist trap' places along that street for souvenirs!!

Beautiful and epic! Can enjoy sitting or exploring. Great place to gather with friends or family, or to walk/exercise. Perfect time to visit is day or night.

Prato della Valle is a huge square where in summer you can feel like a cutlet on a Teflon frying pan. The place is certainly impressive in size and number of statues, but the sun is so generous here that the only shadow is your own. Yes, it is beautiful, spacious, but it is better to come either at dawn or after sunset, otherwise the walk turns into an express version of an open-air sauna.

One of the largest squares in Italy and home to over 70 statues from important names in the history of the city. However, I do feel that the place is a bit overrated for tourism. The square (and the water) is a bit dirty, a lot of concrete, and there are no signs or plaques with explanations about the statues.

Great central circle with lots of historical significance which doubles as a park. It made for a great starting location to navigate the city.

It was our first stop for the day which might have been a mistake as a tourist. It was nice seeing the local vendors but they were selling produce and since we were traveling, we could not take advantage of their products. I believe it would be different at night when the street vendors are serving food. It would be an excellent place for live music as well. As for the area itself. There is a lot of green space surrounded by water with bridges to cross the water. There are many statues to look at and it was very peaceful when we were there. If I were to return, I would definitely do the evening visit.

No tickets required, but dress appropriately! If you have too much skin showing, they will provide covering to wear for 1 Euro. I was very impressed by that, so no one would be turned away! You can wear shorts and short sleeve shirts for comfort in the heat...just not too short. This magnificent place is a must-see!

The Basilica of St. Anthony is truly my place of strength. Every time I come here, I feel a powerful energy that surrounds and uplifts me. The atmosphere is so unique and deeply spiritual that it’s impossible to leave without feeling renewed and inspired. A must-visit for anyone who wants to experience something beyond the ordinary.

The exterior is a melange of architectural styles, fairly plain brickwork but with Byzantine minarets and domes reminiscent of the Hagia Sophia of Istanbul. Internally it is pure Gothic with wonderful sculptures and artwork. The scale is vast and the ceilings almost disappear into the distance, many covered by netting to catch falling debris. This is a site of pilgrimage for followers of Saint Anthony and there was a line to enter the chapels containing his relics. The lighting is very dim so the architecture is not shown to best advantage but nevertheless the effect is inspiring.

It was a great blessing and goosebumping experience to have a dharhsan at St. Antony's basilica at Padova. One could feel the positive divine vibration the moment enters into the Basilica. Indeed, we spent more time in the Basilica in prayer and meditation. St. Antony of Padova is the patron saint for lost objects. St. Antony of Padova is widely celebrated saint in South India. We had a opportunity to pray at his cemetery, tonsee his unperished tounge and jaw. His incorruptible relic is housed in this basilica.

Due to our ancestral devotion to St. Anthony, my wife and I made a point to visit Padua, and the cathedral here is truly mesmerizing. Having visited Lisbon as well, we were particularly struck by the abundance of St. Anthony’s relics housed in this beautiful church. You will find St Anthony's pillow stone, uncorrupted tongue of St Anthony, Jaw bone with teeth, vocal apparatus, skin from head, cassock, St Anthony's finger, hair. Plus relics of other saints and items from cross on which Jesus died

One of the most magnificent basilicas you will ever see. Its fame rests not only on its architectural beauty but also on the spiritual aura that resides within the basilica. It houses the mortal remains of St Antony of Padua. It also has the relics of more than a dozen other saints including St Pope John Paul II. Catholics from all over the world flock to the Basilica throughout the year. One thing that catches our eyes is the altar that has all the relics.

Amazing inside and outside. Went for a walk by night and it was very never with the moonlight. The interior is superb, lots of different Chappelle with amazing art and, of course the saint Anthony spaces for pilgrims. Please, respect the place, there's people praying

Ever since I read Gombrich’s The Story of Art years ago, I had dreamed of visiting this place. Undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Italy! Impeccably preserved, with lighting at the base that showcases the frescoes in the chapel in the best possible way. Giotto, in the 1300s, is a landmark figure pinned on the grand tapestry of art history, undeniably a medieval genius and at the same time the starting point of the Renaissance. He was among the first to bring architectural frames, outdoor scenery, shadowing, expressions, and natural gestures into his figures. Giotto’s innovations in spatial depth and emotional realism paved the way for Masaccio, and eventually for Da Vinci, Michelangelo and the High Renaissance. What makes the experience even more fascinating is its story: the chapel was commissioned by Enrico Scrovegni as an act of penance for his family’s sins of usury. The only real pity is that each visit is limited to just 15 minutes. Honestly, it feels far too short, so we couldn’t help but want to buy another ticket just to experience it all over again.

What an amazing place and fascinating history. Regardless of whether you are religious or not. The incredible creativity of a man in the 1300's has to be witnessed. The human emotions that have been depicted throughout the chapel are amazing. Highly recommend a visit to this well organised historic site.

This is a rare chance to see a monumental work by Giotto, spinning several dozen biblical scenes. You have to buy tickets in advance, but the experience is definitely worth your time and hassle.

The chapel itself was astonishing and breathtaking. There was a short video in air-conditioned room before entering, which provided general info. - Unfortunately, there was not enough time to patiently savour the frescoes, we were rushed out, so I was very dissappointed:( *I know there are many people coming to visit, but I would strongly consider prolonging the visiting time.

A must see when you visit the beautiful city of Padova. Very important to arrive in time as stated by your on line reservation as the admission process for visiting the chapel is strictly adhered to.

Absolute riot of fresco that are staggeringly numerous, detailed and beautiful. Entry strictly controlled and 15 minutes only, so try booking 2 consecutive slots to do this place justice.

Thank God, they haven't covered the original paintings and original walls. Since this is not the active chapel, we can feel the real archeological smell. Visitors are allowed inside onkybfor 15 min. There is an automatic door system to ensure the interiors are protected from environmental damage to the original paintings. Surprised to know that it was a private chapel of a wealthy citizen lived in Padova. His name was. Enrico Scrovegni. Like Dante's hell , this Chapel has Giotto 's hell. Interesting to know that there is a pope (rebelled )in the hell. The paintings are worth watching.

This beautiful house on the hill... Villa La Rotonda Villa La Rotonda, designed by the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio in the 16th century, is a masterpiece of classical symmetry and proportion. The Villa is outstanding but I don’t know who manages the team!? I never have seen so much arrogance and agressivity from the staff (mainly male), starting from the parking gardener to the guys in charge of the Villa. This marvellous place would deserve polite and professional behaviour

Architectural masterpiece, one of the great private villas by Palladio. Easily reachable from the city centre as there is a walkway and bicycle path. Check the opening times in beforehand as this is private property owned by the same family that originally built it. Luckily public is let to see the building still. The guides were very helpful. The cafeteria down on the park level serves excellent local wines and small snacks.

Amazing Palladian architecture, particularly on the outside. Very helpful staff who are willing to explain if you ask. Inside is a bit of a surprise as it is frescoed. Fair enough it is a family home now but I was expecting it to be as Palladio had initially designed it to be - plain. Only open on certain days and at certain times so check before you go. Parking is nearby (pay and display) but limited. Get there early to find a space. A full visit took about an hour, so not long. I recommend going to the Andrea Palladian museum in Vicenza before you see La Rotunda to get a deeper insight. Inside

Beautiful Palladian villa near Vicenza. Wonderful architecture and stunning frescos. The romantic garden it’s beautiful too during flower blossom. Recommended.

Of all Palladio Villas probably the most famous but staff the least friendly and welcoming in contrast to other sites around Vicenza. Grand building, very beautifully renovated, garden/Park well maintained & impressive. Traffic could be handled better: maybe have one way? And a side walk for pedestrians? Or organize parking differently?

You can get English or Italian audio guide to the museum which locates downstairs of a bar. The layout of the display cabinets were a bit confusing but the audios were very detailed. It was interesting and worth spending part of the afternoon there. After the museum, I suggest the outdoor seating at the bar because it has one of the most stunning views of River Brenta from there.

Amazing place to see especially on a sunny day. We were there with our 7m campervan on a Sunday morning around 9am and there were plenty of parking spaces but got busy rather quickly. You need to pay in the ticket machine before passing through the exit gate. Campers pay 9 eur for 3 hrs which is plenty time to see the sights, get some footage and have a meal as well.

It is a small lake surrounded by pine forests and the Dolomites mountains, offering breathtaking scenery. The water is crystal clear with an emerald-green color, reflecting the mountains and the sky. Easy to reach with no difficult roads. Parking is available at €3 per hour (Oct 2025), and payment must be made in advance at the ticket machine. The area also has convenient facilities such as shops and restaurants, though not very large. Perfect for a short stop to take photos and enjoy a peaceful walk. The atmosphere is calm, cool, and truly romantic.

We visited Lago di Carezza, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Dolomites. The water shines in shades of green and reflects the forest and mountains around it, giving the place a magical feel. Parking is easy and costs €6 for 1-2 hours, which is fair for such a stunning spot. A calm and lovely stop, well worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Unfortunately, it’s quite a popular tourist spot, so unless you arrive early in the morning, it can get very crowded. Luckily, most visitors tend to stay near the starting point to take photos, so the rest of the trail around the lake is much quieter and more peaceful.

Visited few times but always before season in December and no crowds. The only negative- train connecting Seceda part to Sassolungo part is not always reliable. Nice place to stay during vacation,a lot of good restaurant and wonderful natural view

In my opinion, this is one of the top 3 landscapes to see in Italy. My partner and I walked around the lake, which is 3.8 km long. At times there were quite a lot of people, even forming small queues, but for most of the route we could walk at our own pace. Tip: if the mountain views at the starting point don’t seem that impressive, it’s better to walk around the lake clockwise rather than counterclockwise. This way, the most beautiful part of the scenery will be towards the end of the walk, and your photos will turn out better.

Nice small lake and good views of the surrounding moutains. But in my opinion nothing out of the ordinary - its just a mountain lake and a very commercialised one. You can rent boats for 45min which will cost 55€ and parking is also 15€. The path around the lake is very crowded as well. I think there are more beautiful and especially more calm lakes in the dolomites that would be worth your time and money.

Lago di Braies is absolutely breathtaking! The crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by majestic mountains looks like something out of a postcard. It’s the perfect place for a peaceful walk, a boat ride, or just relaxing and taking in the view. Every angle is stunning, especially in the early morning or at sunset. The air feels so fresh and calm—it’s pure magic. A must-see spot in the Dolomites that you’ll never forget!

Best lake in the Dolomites in Italy and a MUST visit. It is also referred to as 'The pearl of the Dolomites'. Circular route around this magical mountain lake is a great experience for young and old because the entire hiking trail is safe and well marked. Walking distance from bus stop and car parking.

Gloomy day for us but still breathtaking views. Rented a row boat and bopped around the lake for a bit before grabbing a bite and heading out. Plan your trip accordingly, it can be crazy during the busy months. Do your research!

Gorgeous turquoise lake that reminds me of lake Louise in banff Canada. Rented a row boat for 55€ that includes 2 magnets and 45 minutes of row time. It was pretty windy with a slight drizzle when we arrived at 5:30pm. Last boat is at 7pm. There was a slight wait but we didn’t wait too long to get on the lake

Must be seen, parking available till 10 am after that not so much. Prices in bar and restaurant little bit high but food is excellent

The waterfalls were beautiful, but the hike itself is quite challenging, with only steep paths. Along the way there are several viewpoints where you can enjoy stunning views of the falls, but the view from the top was actually a bit disappointing. Reaching the top is more about the feeling of accomplishment than the view itself. It’s a very touristy spot, with several nice souvenir shops to browse.

A beautiful place worth visiting, suitable for young and old, but you should wear heavy clothes because the weather is cold. Although it was July, the weather was still quite cold, and I recommend wearing a waterproof jacket and comfortable athletic shoes.

Waterfalls are spectacular! So many great views and places where you can almost touch them. Wish to had more time to explore Krimml trails on the top of the waterfalls.

One of the best activities to do in that area, the entrance was easy either by cash or card automatic machines, the hike is clean but not easy, the slopes are harsh in some places so better ready. On our journey from Sell am See to Tirol we took the scenic mountain pass to stop off at Europe’s largest waterfall. Despite being height of summer season we could still easily park and make our way to the falls. The route is well made. No need for walking boots. We didn’t get all the way to the top - we stopped at about half way. Some great photos of the fall and the landscape.

We just wanted to see how beautiful these crystals display. We did not buy anything from them, too bad for them. But the way they arranged their display, even on the way to exit, they enticed visitors with various pricing range to make sure that they would get something from them. Nevertheless, it's still worth a visit to see various crystals, such ones in marvel movies, Donald Duck etc. The display at ground floor (first enter) is €€€ above but the ones at 2nd floor is more affordable and attractive.

Crystals are everywhere and epic things which made up of crystals. Watching all this gives calmness to my eyes but my heart says buy something😜 from Swarovski. I saw not only one dress which wore by Ananya pande but also many other things and characters from Disney. Totally worth it.

The staff were so nice! I bought a ring yesterday but realised it was too big once i cut off the rubber that tied it to the packaging. So i headed in to exchange my ring today. The exchange process was really easy and the staff were happy to help. I went in with my ring in M size, the original packaging and the receipt. And i tried on the S size ring with the help of a staff. Then i just brought the S size ring to the cashier and explained the need for a change in size. The exchange was super quick, took less than 10 mins altogether! Really thankful for the experienced staff and the helpful service!

Spectacular visit to this Schloss -- really needs half a day. The ferry ride across the See is pleasant and calm, the breezes are refreshing on a warm summer day. Great to learn the history and experience the charm of this beautiful setting.

Fabulous palace on an island in Lake Chiemsee. This is a great place to see the extravagance of Ludwig II. It offers a peak into his obsession with French royalty and his lavish tastes. The palace and gardens are fantastic. (No photos allowed inside, which is a bummer.)

Magnificent, and rich interiors. If the king hadn't lived in his dream project for more than a handful days, so does it not deserve to be visited more than once in my life time. Palace guided Tour is about 40 minutes. No photography allowed strictly! This is what I didn't like the most. It's worth the hype and not worth the hype at the same time. Lake Helen Kim Palace is a magnificent palace modeled after the Palace of Versailles in France. It is a Baroque building. In winter, flocks of geese and ducks graze on the lake, and strolling through the woods on the island offers stunning views of the vibrant autumn foliage.

You have to buy entry Ticket to see the interior Palace with a guide. Taking picture inside of d palace it's not allowed, just outside it's possible. You have to pay extra when u need to go to the 🚻 & it was not cheap!

This is a really pretty palace and a great history lesson for people who don’t know much about kind Ludwig II. The palace itself is whacky and lavish and the gardens, fountains, and exterior are beautiful and scenic. The island has some great walking paths and is a fun outing. The boat there and back also has pretty views and runs fairly consistently. Keep in mind that the price of the boat and the palace entrance/tour are a separate price, the palace ticket does give you access to quite a bit though. The only reason it’s a 4 star review is that you can’t take pictures inside the palace which is a little disappointing but not a huge deal. Overall this is a great stop but does take some time.

There was a lot of exhibits to see and it was nice to have listening stations throughout For English as well. There were some hands on experiences, I was hoping for some more and looking for something a bit more interactive. There was a very wide variety of things to see throughout a journey through history. Overall a nice experience.

It's a vast general museum, encompassing everything not covered in the art and antique museums. Currently half of it is under renovation, but the open part is big enough to keep you busy for a long time. I focused mainly on the air and space aspect, nice collection of vintage and more modern planes, some of the very first rockets including a V2, and a very nice floor on spaceships. I also enjoyed the section on coding. I checked out photography, printing and musical instruments before my time ran out. It was a solid 3 hours. Overall it is good, not necessarily a must-see if you are first time visitor to Munich pressed on time.

It is a great museum with literally any type of science in it. It is definitely a must go and you would regret it if you didn't.

The building itself is modern and impressive; showcasing the brand’s history from classic models to future innovations. The exhibits are beautifully organized; each section tells a clear story with amazing visuals and interactive displays. You can see everything from vintage BMWs to new ones up close. It’s clean, well-run, and easy to explore. Definitely one of the best car museums in the world.

Well laid out and easy to navigate the museum. I bought tickets on my phone as i walked up to the building but there are also koisks inside. There are free lockers for small/medium bags and a jacket. There is a small Cafe with sandwiches, salad, pizza, drinks and coffee. If your thing is cars, motorcycles, airplanes, motors or just BMW in general this is a must see.

Really interesting museum, that is showing history of this brand. A lot of interesting cars and other artefacts. For me there was really interesting engine cut-outs, where You can see, how motor is operating. Most of descriptions is available in english language.

St. Peter’s Cathedral is absolutely breathtaking. The Gothic architecture is stunning, with soaring spires, intricate stonework, and beautiful stained glass windows that create a peaceful, awe-inspiring atmosphere inside. It’s hard not to be impressed by the history and craftsmanship. Even if you’re not typically into churches, this one is worth the stop. It’s right in the heart of Regensburg, so very easy to visit while exploring the old town. Highly recommend taking a few quiet moments inside—truly a highlight of the city.

Massive pure Gernan gothic church that was built from the end of the 13th to the beginning of the 16th century using the architecture of French cathedrals as an example. The inside is dark and has beautiful details like the silver altar. The stained glass windows from the 13th and 14th century are impressive and the most extensive, still preserved, collection of medieval stained glass in the German-speaking world. An interesting detail was a large waterwell with a hoist and bucket inside the church which was used as a secure source of water for the clergy, cathedral staff and cleaning.

The cathedral is truly impressive! A magnificent structure that’s hundreds of years old. I can’t even say whether I liked it more from the outside or the inside. Every day in summer, the organ plays at noon, it’s absolutely amazing! An architectural masterpiece that definitely deserves attention. The only downside is that the exterior has been under renovation for many years.

Learned so much about German history from our Viking excursion to Regensburg Cathedral. The world’s largest hanging organ was a true marvel, suspended like something out of a dream, and its presence added to the cathedral’s awe-inspiring atmosphere. Learning about the Regensburg bishopric’s influence gave us a deeper appreciation for the city’s role in shaping European history. This cathedral is a must-see for anyone visiting Regensburg—its beauty and stories will leave you speechless. Highly recommend making time for this incredible landmark!

Great experience. Today was the 75 anniversary of Caritas and St. Josef Hospital celebrated with bishop Rudolf and former cathedral choir member (Regensburger Domspatzen). Usually the holy mass is starting on Sundays at 10 a.m. Be early enough there to get a place!

Our tour guide told us this cathedral is always under some kinds of construction in one form or another 🤣 While we were here the towers were in repair and there’s a choir outside make Ng beautiful music.

At the entrance, a welcoming entrance with an airy crypt with heating. On the first floor there was a film that explains the entire history from the origins in the early 1800s to the present day. Viewing is recommended. Then you climb up to the first internal cornice, which is very overhanging. You then climb to the upper floors, and then you reach the first external cornice located under the feet of the statues that can be seen from outside. You can take the elevator up to that level. From there, you climb to the highest part of the building with a very narrow but well-made stone staircase. A visit is recommended to better understand the history of the city. Great experience with a rich history. I chose a non audio self tour and would highly recommend this. It's a place of reflection and would rather go undisturbed. The staircase to the top is steep though. Just so you know 😉

If you had only one thing to do in Leipzig, please visit this place. This monument is the tallest in all of Europe and it commemorates the war that broke Napoleon. No tickets required

This intense and impressive monument is a MUST SEE if you are in Leipzig. The scale is stunning and is reminiscent of the Mines of Moria in Lord of the Rings. There are multiple lifts but if you want to get to the top viewing area, you have to use the stairs and it is a little walk. No bad, but most people emerged a little winded and sweaty. The sweeping views of Leipzig are great and, if you go on a sunny day, you can see many miles/kilometers in every direction. Highly recommended.

A really impressive monument. It really makes you feel the enormity of the event being memorialized much like the World War I monument in Kansas City. There was a feeling of heaviness about the monument and it made me feel retrospective. A very nice visit. A stroll through the cemetery nextdoor is also warranted.

the monument to the battle of the nations in leipzig is a massive, seriously impressive monument commemorating napoleon's defeat in the 1813 battle. it's one of europe's largest, and you can climb to the top for panoramic views of leipzig. inside, the huge stone figures are really powerful. it's a bit outside the city center but easily reached by tram and definitely worth a visit for its history and scale

This Is the most amazing zoo I've ever been to. It's so big with the kids. We could only see a portion of it, but the jungle experience especially with the boat ride was so cool. All of the exhibits are wonderful. I would highly recommend to anyone to visit the zoo. Easily one of the best zoos in the world.

Beautiful zoo with a rich variety of animals and habitats! Especially Gondwanaland was amazing giving you the feeling of actually being in the jungle!( don’t forget to get on the little boat trip, super cheap and worth the experience). Love, Greece!!!🇬🇷❤️

Leipzig Zoo is one of the best zoos I‘ve ever visited. Large enclosures. Many events throughout the day. Amazing infrastructure (you can find maps, sign posts, and directions for a tour that leads you through the entire zoo everywhere). They also don’t solely focus on the animals as mere entertainment but seek to inform kids in playful ways about preservation/biology/even physics in the aquarium. Leipzig Zoo also provides a variety of restaurants and snack bars that are evenly distributed across the entire Zoo. I wholly recommend visiting, whether alone or with friends and family. It’s an amazing and informative experience!

Best zoo in Germany especially with huge greenhouse of tropical forest and self moving boats along river with warm climate. Highly recommended for both adults and children alike

This zoo park was fantastic. I would recommend this to everyone. There is so much to see and you should have water with you because food and water prices there is too expensive. WC is free which is very good. And I suggest you guys to go early there, zoo opens at 9 am and closes at 7pm. As I mentioned earlier there is lot to see so you probably will need some rest. And one good thing about this zoo park is that you see animals without any borders and it is kind of crazy but it is safe. So enjoy with your trip everyone.

Zoo Leipzig is a great place to visit with kids. The grounds are very clean with almost no smell, and there are nice play and climbing facilities for children. A fun and family-friendly zoo experience!

This zoo is arguably the best in Europe. The animals have the freedom to roam, creating a more natural environment, and plenty of dining options are available. Don’t miss the chance to watch the monkeys and explore Gondwanaland. It's truly a fantastic spot for some quality time with your children.

We spent 6 and a half hour there and it didn't feel like it in any way the scenes are on overdrive with so much to take in its something that I could do a few times and still have not seen everything. It's very huge - it may take hours or days to take every route and explore reach path located in the park. The entrance is free and there's few gates you can get through. Hard to miss if you plan to visit Postdam.

A small, cause it was the summer one, but very beautiful palace. With the ticket of 22 euros you get to visit almost all places in Potsdam. Definitely more worth it to visit in the summer time or at least while everything's still green, since the gardens are a big, important part.

Sanssouci Park is absolutely stunning! Walking through the gardens is a true delight, with so many beautiful spots to explore and photograph. The highlight for me was the Orangerieschloss! Definitely a must-see. It’s the most beautiful building in the park, with incredible architecture and charm that you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re a history lover, architecture fan, Sanssouci Park is an unforgettable experience. Truly 5 stars!
