The buildings are great, but you can see them from the street, from the main entrance, so it's not worth buying a ticket. It's true that the park has other beautiful places than the well known Gaudi's buildings, but we wanted to visit it for this only reason and we left disappointed

If Gaudi knew his masterpieces would be turned into a tourist trap THIRSTING for money, he would be disgusted. I bought the tickets. Had an accident, couldn't attend exactly at the time that I had scheduled the tickets. They couldn't do anything. Not even get me a discount. Come on, do better. Ok, bought new tickets. The park is interesting, Gaudi never misses. Is it worth it paying 18 euros? Of course not. Stand outside the gates and you will see 95% of everything worth seeing. The workers are unprepared. There are so many nice things to see in Barcelona, if you don't have a lot of time, don't bother coming here.

Nice place to go for a walk, because in the city there is not much of a green areas around. But be aware that there is a lot of stairs in the park. So if you are coming with a stroller, that could be a challenge for you. Also be ready for a lot of people. It was difficult to find a quiet spot around the park. You can see nice architecture and if you are lucky you can find a spot on the sun and just relax for a bit.

Make sure to buy your tickets online beforehand or you likely won’t get in. Entrance fee is a little steep for what it is but nevertheless, still a great Gaudi experience. The place gets overly crowded so that definitely takes away from the overall experience.

We found the place amazingly innovating and also harmonically beautiful. Gaudi created a wonderous living space, full of hidden spots, making the journey delightful. I recommend booking a tour guide, as this adds to the whole experiance!

Was a very interesting place to walk around to see Gaudí genius at work. However, it can’t match up with his other masterpiece, Sagrada Família. Nothing much does. Not even close ! In my opinion but worth a walk through but beware it’s 18 Eyries each overall around and some of the inside park attractions are extra. I added some pics of the more popular spots in this park. Park Güell is a breathtaking place to visit! It’s definitely a must-see location during your visit to Barcelona!!! The unique architecture, colorful mosaics, and beautiful natural surroundings makes the whole experience unforgettable. The views of Barcelona from the park are stunning,l! Honestly, every corner of the park feels magical. The park perfectly captures Gaudí’s creativity and charm. I visited the park with a walking tour, which was amazing and worth every penny!

Well-made audio guide and efficient organization at the entrance. The house is wonderful, allowing you to fully discover Gaudí’s art. The ticket is a bit expensive (€36 for the Silver route). By choosing the Silver ticket, you also get access to the terrace with its colorful chimneys. Overall, a positive visiting experience.

I went there twice already, once by day and the other time by night and the magic just never ends. Gaudi must have had a lot of fun designing this mysterious world into a house and it amazes me how he managed to make it possible. By night, the windows and sea life details create this enchanting atmosphere throughout the visit. I cannot recommend this architectural gem enough!!

Casa Batlló absolutely blew me away — it feels like stepping into a living, breathing piece of art. Gaudí’s imagination is on full display, from the flowing, nature-inspired interiors to the colorful mosaic façade that changes with the light. The rooftop, shaped like a dragon’s spine, is just unforgettable. It’s one of those places where every detail surprises you — truly magical.

This house cannot be properly understood without going in. During the night I find it even more magical as you can really see how light plays a most important part in it's architecture. I was awed and actually didn't even want to go at first, but all the details took my breath away. The style is different inside and outside, so even if you're not a fan of Gaudi, give yourself a chance to go in. It is 100% worth it. And there's 100% accessibility! Elevators on request but to all floors.

Visiting Casa Batlló was one of the highlights of my trip to Barcelona. Here you can see Gaudí’s creativity up close- the flowing shapes, colorful mosaics, his vision and talent in every detail. The house was redesigned by Antoni Gaudí in the early 1900s for the Batlló family and is a perfect example of Catalan modernism. Every detail — from the wavy staircases to the vibrant tiles — is inspired by nature. The rooftop, shaped like a dragon’s back, offers great views over Passeig de Gràcia. I booked tickets online (around €30–€35) and still waited about 20–30 minutes to get in, so I’d definitely recommend buying skip-the-line tickets or going early in the morning. Inside, the audio guide is fantastic and really helps you understand Gaudí’s vision and his use of light and ventilation in every room. It’s busy, but completely worth it. I am not big fan of this type of art or architecture however it was an unforgettable experience.

Visiting the Sagrada Família was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. You see photos everywhere, but nothing compares to standing in front of it and realizing how enormous and detailed it really is. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, construction started in 1882 and it’s still not finished but it's coming to an end. There’s something amazing about seeing a building that’s been growing for more than a century and continues to evolve with each generation continuing Gaudi's vision. Every part of it tells a story: the Nativity Façade is full of life and nature, while the Passion Façade is dramatic and emotional. Inside, the light through the stained-glass windows looks magical — it changes color throughout the day and fills the space with warmth, peace and wonderful colours. Even with all the crowds, the atmosphere is calm and awe-inspiring. It really feels like a place where art, faith, and nature come together. It's one of the most beautiful landmarks on the world. Book tickets online in advance and go early in the morning if you want to avoid long lines. And if you can, climb one of the towers — the view over Barcelona is unforgettable.

The Sagrada Familia is incredible. We did a guided tour which was great for a couple reasons. One, we got to walk pass the line with our guide which saved us time. Also, our guide was able to give us so many details about the structure we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. We went during the Golden Hour, which is when the sun is setting and the light shines through the stain glass, creating a Golden light. The details in the structure from the outside to the inside is spectacular. Highly recommend getting tickets way in advance so you don't miss out on the Sagrada Familia.

We had a guided tour. We don't normally do this but in this case it was necessary. The guide was informative amusing and personable. As for the Sagrada Familia itself, quite simply WOW! It was everything we had been told and so much more. The explanations of Gaudi's reasoning for the various aspects of the design brought the whole building into focus. It is truly an experience. The company we used was The Tour Guy. If all their guides are as good as ours you cannot go wrong. It may seem costly but IMHO it's worth it.

When in Barcelona, you have to visit the masterpiece of Gaudí. Book your tickets in advance and also get a guided tour. It will be a tour of around two hrs and your guide will explain about each and everything. This place is not just a church it’s a masterpiece of human kind. This place is an experience that you must do. I will recommend to visit either early in morning at the time of sunrise or in evening around 4pm at sunset. You will experience the place at its best and you will able to see the importance of time and light in the church. It’s the best architecture i have ever seen. Must book your tickets at-least 20 days in advance and also choose the tower access for the best views in city.

Magnificent structure! I have visited Barcelona three times, and during my second visit, I had the chance to explore the interior as well. Both the inside and outside are truly unique. It’s an amazing experience to examine the figures on the exterior one by one. The ticket includes an audio guide, and by downloading the Sagrada Familia app to your phone, you can access a step-by-step audio guide that explains both the exterior and interior of the building. By the way, I recommend purchasing your ticket a week or two before your trip.

In March the water looks so clean! The view is absolutely beautiful. The bad thing is that there is a lot of trash in beach it would be nice to clean it up.

Nice beach looks like sand but is made up of small little rocks. Be careful with children. The sea becomes deep after a few meters, and waves are strong. Don't hire the rip-off sunloungers there €8 each plus €8 for umbrella! Bring a towel/blanket instead. Beach gets very busy on sunny days. There are some free public toilets, but be ready to see some dirty supprises in them like I did! 🤮

Great Beach This is beach is quite narrow compared to other beaches in Spain but it is very long. This is also packed in summer almost unbearable, but in winter (and the off season) is amazing and really nice. It has all the amenities you could expect and is super close to lots of bars and restaurants.

Beautiful beach! Lots of cute fishies to see under the water. The water is nice and very clear, but in some areas it’s a bit murky and polluted. Every morning (very early) a huge machine goes around the beach to clean everything. Every now and then I spotted a jellyfish, but no dangerous ones. Beware! There are currently no showers at the beach, if you want to clean yourself, you can bring a cup and some water from the tab near the toilets. The beach is made out of small rocks, which is fine, but it can get quite hot in the sun. (Ps. Using wedge heels or shoes with thick soles is great to avoid the rocks) near the beach there are small kiosk shaped buildings who sell great slush or ice cream. The beach is quite busy, near the castle it’s a bit more calm. On the completely other side there is a spot with very low water (last video), which is great for kids!

A family trip with children. Beautiful beach. Accommodation and food can be expensive in high season. But clean water and clean beach. Felt very safe there. Water world is 15 minutes away if anyone fancies. Will travel there again.

This beach is very Nice and peaceful for family or friends . There are sun loungers and parasols available for rent on-site for 8€ each. The water is clear, and there is parking available, but it fills up quickly, so it's better to arrive early to find a spot. I highly recommend it

Don’t walk run to this iconic Cathedral. The steps are wonderful to sit and people watch and soak in the Game of Thrones feeling. Inside is grand. The cloisters in the garden are lovely to sit and cool off. I bought the 3 in 1 ticket so no need to line up… go to the tourism office in Girona first. They are so helpful. Quite wonderful.

Lovely cathedral and nice to see where they filmed some of the game of thrones. The walk on the wall surrounding it is quite something and worth doing. If you more in depth information it's probably worth going on a small guided tour.

Beautiful cloisters, which date back to the 11th century, have seen everything from daily monastic life to historical ceremonies that shaped the region. Inside, there is so much to see. The main altar, with its stunning Gothic retablo, is breathtaking, and the Treasury houses priceless religious artifacts, including chalices, reliquaries, and medieval manuscripts. The Museu d’Art Sacre attached to the cathedral showcases beautiful liturgical garments and intricate paintings. I was also captivated by the fantastic rose window at the entrance and the Baroque pulpit, which is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. Legend adds an extra layer of magic to the cathedral. They say that on quiet nights, the ghostly figure of a white-clad woman—known as the “White Lady of Girona”—wanders the cloisters, mourning a lost love. Locals claim she was a noblewoman whose secret romance ended tragically, and her spirit now lingers, protecting the cathedral and its treasures. This add a pinch of mystery to the history of this magnificent church. Climbing the tower gave me a breathtaking view of Girona’s old town, the Onyar River, and the surrounding hills—it really makes you appreciate how this cathedral has stood as a guardian over the city for centuries.For anyone visiting Girona, the cathedral is not just a sight to see—it’s a journey through time, mystery, and culture. Entrance cost €7.50 and its well worth it.

This is a must see in Girona, from its Gothic architecture to its history and modern-day GOT references. There is something for everyone! While a bit crowded, it never felt overwhelming and we were able to enjoy the climb up the stairs and the views.

A must visit if in Girona especially if you are a game of thrones fan. Jaime rode his horse partially up the stairs which is very impressive. Word is it took 2 weeks to train the horse. Inside is a small museum and amazing architecture for your entry fee. Views from top of stairs are really cool.

I had a fairly negative experience when visiting this cathedral which was a shame. I was approached by some men on the street and shouted at, which took away from the natural beauty and atmosphere of the cathedral, i was warned by locals not to be in the area by myself and they walked me back to the centre of Girona. I think if you are in a group or with a friend it is definitely worth a visit, I was just unlucky, and maybe be a bit more alert if you are a solo female traveller too!

If you're interested in surrealism, a visit to the Dalí Museum in Figueres is a must. I've been there before, ages ago. But I enjoyed it this time even more. I guess there is no doubt about the greatness of Dalí's extraordinary and astonishing work. We ordered the tickets online before. It's recommended. We parked right at the Museum in a parking garage (payed 3,30 € per hour). My son is disabled so he didn't had to pay the entry fee. We booked it in advance and it was no problem with a german severely disabled certificate at the entrance of the museum. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Will visit again next time I will be in Catalonia.

Fantastic place! Got a fast pass skip the line ticket and got in right away, definitely recommend doing this, as even in off season it was suuuuper busy. The art and architecture is amazing. Lots of different rooms and areas to view and take in all the imagery. There are a few spaces to sit down, but could do with some more chairs around though, especially at it takes a few hours to really take everything in and visit all the rooms. In terms of accessibility, best to check with the venue itself to ensure it’s suitable for you. Some ramps are very steep and stairs are quite spiralling. Not sure how many tour groups are allowed in at each time slot but there were so many at the time I went and they rush and push through quickly through the narrow hallways, so be aware of this as well. Really fun day, nice walk through town to get there and lots of places to grab a drink, snack or coffee before or after your visit.

Paintings, drawings and ’flat’ art very good, sculptures and other works less interesting to me. Entry tickets are timed so buy when you arrive then join the line. There is no signage to give a structured tour of the museum, so you have to wander around and make sure you don’t miss anything. Too crowded, people always in front of you, pushing phones in front of you and snapping away, or standing posing. In those situations it’s hard to take in and appreciate what you’re seeing.

This museum takes you on a trip- a wonderful exploration into Dalís world and life. It's a very special place, created with so much heart and soul. Something everybody should experience. We've been there on a sunday in october, without reservations and got tickets without waiting. The rooms and floors inside are a bit smaller, so it was a little busy, but nevertheless, it was enough space to enjoy everything. There's a lot to discover, and watching every painting and installation closely you could easily spend the whole day there. But you can also see everything in about 1 or 2 hours. A place you must visit and see. Art enriches your consciousness and gives you the opportunity to be a better person. I recommend it. An extraordinary place where art and everyday life are clearly visible. It's wonderful that Spaniards care so much about their heritage.

The Dali Museum was the highlight of our time in eastern Spain! Since we visited in November, the museum was not packed with visitors. To see Dali’s work up close was magical! This is a “must see” when visiting Spain!

We had a fantastic time at the Réserve Africaine de Sigean! The whole experience was very well organized and thoughtfully designed, giving us the feeling of being on a real African safari. Driving through the park in our own car was a big highlight – not only did it bring us up close to the animals in a unique and exciting way, but it was also a huge advantage with the 35°C heat. Being able to enjoy the experience comfortably from the car made a big difference, especially with kids. The staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the animals and their well-being. You can tell the reserve is run with care and professionalism. We truly enjoyed every part of the visit – from the drive-through safari to the walking areas. A perfect mix of adventure, education, and comfort. Highly recommended for families and nature lovers!

A very nice safari parc with a great variety of African wildlife. At some point I almost felt like being on a safari drive. The zoo part is quite small compared to other zoos but has some pretty cool features. I really liked the aviary concept with free roaming birds, sharing their space with alligators. Amazing.

We loved it here, we saw so many animals. They have everything from big five to birds and reptiles.

It was a really great experience, drive through the different parts of the Réserve Africaine and see a little of animals that you normally only can see in a normal zoo. After the tour with the car, you also have a different way where you can walk and see many animals. The food at the kiosk is pretty good. At the entrance we had to wait a bit, because they need to check the trunk before you enter and then you can buy the tickets easily at the entrance. To be honest I didn’t see a line where you could enter if you bought your tickets beforehand. Definitely a good thing you can do is to download the corresponding app. There you can easily check where you are and you get all the needed information from the app as well.

That’s a huge park with very respectful and friendly way of treating animals. There is enough space for them as I can see. It doesn’t feel like a zoo. It’s more a window to a wildlife sanctuary. Even in winter you can find a restaurant to have some food. Meanwhile the infrastructure is really nice and well planned. There are parking, rest rooms, shops - everything that you may need after a long trip to this place. For sure this experience is worth it.

A different experience of African wildlife. Make sure to buy tickets online for a flawless entry. First a tour through different park themes with your car, followed by a walking tour. Rich variety of animals in an enormous park, divided in different themes. Great to enjoy with family and children. A must when you’re in the neighborhood.

Very beautiful place to see the animals. We love flamingo and there are hundreds of flamingos here, with lots of other animals also. Such a great experience while driving among savage horses/ lions/ bears, etc. Love the trip so muchhhh !!!

Some visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris, others visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, others Dubai, but there is an underrated place where there are incredible views and all kinds of outdoor activities from downhill to hiking, and it is nothing more and nothing less than the Millau Viaduct. It has a height of 300m and a length of 2000m, it is one of the highest bridges in the world (it appeared in the movie Mr. Bean's Holiday).

Nice to see the tallest bridge -336,4m- in the world. The best part is that you can see it from underneath. This gives you the best view of how tall it is. Absolutely amazing. There is also the possibility to have a guided tour.

A truly magnificent place. The drive from Montpellier is just over 1 hour. You don’t need to do the u-turn like google says, just past the bridge going north there is an exit to the visitor center. We recommend arriving early and walking the trail for picture perfect views of Millau, the bridge, and the visitor center. No food onsite, but bring a lunch or snack and enjoy at picnic tables with an amazing view.

If you like bridges then this one is for you. We drove over 2000 Kilometers to get to this bridge and it was well worth the time. I could stand and look at it all day. It reminds me of a professional athlete: disciplined, great shape, and strong. I think its sexy looking.

Picturesque views of the bridge and over the surrounding canyon. Just a small few minute hike up the hill from the parking lot. Recommend!

Visited without booking and we could not get tickets to enter house as it was fully booked so recommend booking before going. We visited the gardens though, ticket 6 euro and well worth a visit as it has a lot of Dali's touches. Also bar and beach for a beer, coffee and stroll amongst the boats.

I bought our tickets about two months in advance so we were ready. What we were not ready for was how cool the house was!! We had a friendly guide where took us through and spoke English and French to the rest. I loved that they had lockers free of charge available for larger bags. Also the Caffe by the entrance has a cute balcony on the top floor and tables outside. It was uplifting to soak up the local atmosphere.

We loved our visit to the Dali house and gardens. Booking tickets in advance is recommended since groups are limited to 8 people at a time. The guides provided explanations in English, Spanish, Catalan, and French.

Ok, first I will answer to all 1⭐️: buy your tickets in advance and be on time. Museum is an old theatre restored and some corridors are just to narrow to accommodate more people. About museum: after seeing lots of museums all over the world, not even Dali fan, I have to say- you have to visit it.

Well, I will say that the staff here is super friendly and helpful. We had a little ticket slip-up and they really came through and helped us out. The tour guide was good too. But wow, Dali's house is the most ugly and unimpressive thing I've ever seen. His artistic nature didn't really translate into the property as much as I'd expected, and to be honest it's mostly just a lot of... trash. And bad taxidermy. The garden is nice, for the trees and plants. And the wife's dome room is interesting. So, there's that. Anyway, don't feel bad if you miss this on your trip 😅

Worth a visit, but you probably will like it a lot more if you are a Dali fan, which, alas, I am not. He was creative and original for sure, but also kind of an odd and controversial figure, which becomes plain in the tour of his house. Architecturally really interesting home in a beautiful and simple fishing village.

One of the best oceanariums I have visited in France. I think it’s pretty cozy and definitely can be an attractive touristic spot in summer.

Nice way to get out of the heat. But apparently everyone else in the entire south France has the same idea. Parking a car was not the easiest. Saw lots of fish. Some very large things. Some tiny things. The shop was good. WiFi didn't work.

It's a nice place to spend time with kids or anyone who's interested in underwater life. For 16€ for an adult, you can see sharks, rays, huge turtles, different fish, other sea creatures and seals. The place is full of information about sea life, endangered species, water pollution puzzles for curious minds. The day I visited the seaquarium, there was a quest for children : they got a task at the entrance and had to look for clues around the aquarium. So their time there wasn't just wondering around and watching fish. There's a parking next to it and a few places to eat. The photos I post can't show the real beauty of the place, so go and check it yourself 🤗

Great Aquarium for a 2-hour visit! Plenty of activities for kids, clean and tidy aquariums. The fish look healthy and well taken care of. The entrance fees are reasonable for what you can see and do. There are some booths for pictures, an area where you can touch mini-sharks (highly recommended, really cool experience also for kids as they cannot bite). Overall a nice experience and time well spent! Really educative especially with regards to sensibilisation to waste in the oceans.

Nice and modern sea aquarium. We were there during end of season and some items were not in use or was being cleaned. Fair money for value. Staff friendly and helpful. Highlight is are the baby sharks wich can be touched. That was a stunning experience. Interesting story of the monk seal. Visit is worth it.

Surprisingly big aquarium for a small town

Commissioned by King Louis XV in 1745, this is one of the oldest public gardens in Europe. It was built around La Fontaine, a natural spring venerated by the people of Nîmes for millennia, and once the heart of a sacred Gallo-Roman sanctuary. Designed by Jacques-Philippe Mareschal and Pierre Dardailhon, the garden harmoniously blends Roman ruins with the aesthetics of a formal French garden. It features a lower section in the classical French formal style and an upper section landscaped in a more natural, Mediterranean style.

A beautiful garden with many walkways, plazas and viewpoints. The stairs and fountains are truly beautiful and there are some amazing panorama views of the city. It is quite a climb to the top though, with many staircases and ramps, so be make sure you bring your walking shoes!

Fabulous park with fountains, gardens, canal with big carp, lots of stairs to climb if you wish for the view. Great way to spend a relaxing hour or two.

Highly recommend visiting to see the wonder of the flamingos! We saw hundreds of them - an awe-inspiring experience. There are a couple of circular walks recommended along well-maintained paths. Parking is just off the road and entrance was very good value. Use some bug spray and seeing some flamingos!

We came here on a trip and we did the smaller walk from 1 to 10 and back out the exit. We saw loads of wildlife, even a beaver! But the highlight of the show was these beautiful and colourful flamingos. I could have spent days at the park just watching and walking and taking my time but we had just short of 2 hours and we did the short walk comfortably enough. Would recommend to go and see the beautiful wildlife.

Definitely recommend this place, amazing views on beautiful birds, very informative and nice walk. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but there is space for everyone, just may need to walk a little. There is a shorter and a longer way, the short one took about 1,5h, longer one was said to be additional 2h. There were very nice tables and benches to rest, huts and observatories, a lunch area and a gift shop. You should definitely come and visit if you are in the area.

Aside from the car parking issue, which has been mentioned by several reviewers, the park was what you'd imagine it to be: a wildlife sanctuary for birds seeking refuge from harsh winters. Watching the flamingoes take flight was mesmerizing - so much so that we spent a good part of our time there watching the birds in the water. Be prepared to allocate time to wander about at a recreational pace. We had allocated one hour, and barely made it through half of the smaller route. That said, we utterly loved the short time spent and wished we had more time to see the park.

As a birder, it is a bit of a weird experience when you first get there (I visited twice in July). You pay a small entrance fee and the park only opens at 09:00. There a basically two sides to the park. One side that feels a bit like a zoo, with as many tourists as flamingo's, herons and egrets (some at less than a meter), and one side that actually are wetlands with bird hides. Despite the weird first impression, I would definitely recommend a visit if you are a birder. I would go back if I ever visit the area again. When I visited (late July) a lot of migratory waders like (spotted) redshanks, godwits, (marsh) sandpipers and a lot of terns (common, little, whiskered, gull billed) were present. Ebird checklists for the area give a good impression of the birds present in the park.

I have long wished to visit the Camargue to see the Flamingos and other wildlife and the Parc Orthinologie was a fantastic place to experience this. It is handily placed to Arles and well set up for visitors of all ages and abilities. Well worth a visit even when you have to travel half way around the world to get there.

Amazing place! Friendly and attentive personnel. Well structured and of a good quality audio guide. The drawings on the walls are very well done and storytelling. With a good weather we could also enjoy the open air animation with the Indian houses and their life attributes. And the panoramic video about the history of life attributes the Earth was breathtaking! I really recommend this place for visiting!

Really interesting and magnificently presented facsimile of some of the earliest human art - that is to say, cave paintings from more than 20,000 years ago (you can’t visit the original for obvious reasons). The headsets for the main cave are available in several languages, then the additional areas provide interesting background information.

A fantastic and interactive experience, great for kids and adults to experience life 38,000 years ago and a great explanation of the fascinating science they used to date & discover the original site. The reconstruction of the cave is truly impressive. Everything is accessible for wheelchair user. The displays are all in French and English and the food in restaurant is excellent and good value for money.

Impressive Roman Amphitheater built around 90 CE when the Flavian dynasty ruled in Rome and Domitian was emperor. Not surprisingly the arena was modelled after the Flavian Amphitheater aka Colloseum in Rome. It could hold 20.000 spectators who would watch brutal gladiator games and fights with wild animals. When the western Roman empire had collapsed in the 5th century CE it became a fortess with four towers of which two survived. In medieval times there were even 200 houses, squares and chapels built inside making it a town within a town Like with other arenas large steel structures are built inside with seating for spectators taking away most of the original atmosphere.

Beautiful, beautiful history. The architectural details are absolutely stunning—I can’t believe this has stood for so many years! It truly takes your breath away. It looks just like the Colosseum in Rome. Timeless, majestic, and unforgettable.

I was fortunate to attend Arles Rice Festival in mid- September and celebrated the Camargue rice harvest. I saw the traditional Provençal bullfight, course camarguaise in the Arles Amphitheatre. It's not Spanish Bullfight so no bulls were killed. The Arles Amphitheatre was fascinating and there are many events in the summer time so you can experience the Arles Amphitheatre.

We were in Arles for a photography festival. The festival was pretty diverse in themes, thus might interest a large number of people. The added bonus is that we were able to see spots as festival locations we would miss if we were to stick to main tourist attractions. Arles is a very old Roman city worth visiting.

Stayed at the local campsite. Very cheap to get into the city. The day we went all the museums were free. The amphitheatre and collusseum were worth the price alone. Beautiful and so easy to access.

Incredible to think this structure has stood for over 2,000 years definitely worth seeing from the outside. Going inside, however, is a bit underwhelming. There isn’t much to look at, and the lack of information or context means your visit will likely be very quick!

One of the most beautiful cities in Europe that I have visited. It really exudes unusual beauty and romance. The buildings are beautiful and I really like that kind of architecture. Along the coast of Cannes, there are beaches along almost the entire length. They are very clean and it is a real pleasure to swim. Lots of restaurants for every taste and pocket. And of course La Croisette! Beautiful! I will be happy to visit Cannes again!

Popularly known as Palais des Festivals et des Congres", La Croisette is about 22 km long promenade in Cannes along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea where the Cannes Film Festival is held. There is a sidewalk with hotels, casinos, brand stores, a rose garden and places with lots of shady trees where families meet and spend their quality time. There are interesting places around this place to stroll and explore. If you are falling short of time or do not have energy for a walk, then one can enjoy a small touristic city train tour to explore the nearby area. The place is dynamic with lots of hustle bustle of the tourists and locals. The evening sunsets and the night illuminations and combined with festive fireworks make this place truly romantic and mesmerizing. A must to visit when you are in France.

Luxury boulevard of Cannes, beautiful beach clubs/ restaurants, luxury shops.. it has also the top rated restaurants.. only that its extremely crowded.. so its not the right place to relax and enjoy the sea view.

Great views of the bay and the city. The promenade is apparently over 7 kilometers long and offers lovely views of the water and the city. You can also get a great view of planes taking off to land and coming in at Nice airport! With so much seating available it is a fantastic spot to park up with some takeaway food and watch the world go by. It can be especially pretty at sunset. If you are visiting Nice you will probably walk along here a bunch of times

Wide, wonderful, paved walking path between the town and the sea. Sit in one of the famous blue chairs to watch the waves and the beach scene. It's an enjoyable stroll at any time of day.

Nice is a very beautiful city. I could not have enough of it. The clear blue water and the buildings are just breathe taking. Even from the airplane I could see the blue color of the sea. This city should be seen on feet, walking around is the best to see its beauty. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the long beach. It was difficult to walk with my feet in the water because it was a stone beach not sand one.

Every visitor to Nice must visit here. The sun and beach, this is Mediterranean life.

Coming here in the rain turned out to be an excellent idea — there were almost no people around, and the views were still amazing. A bunch of viewpoints overlooking the city and the sea, walking trails, waterfalls, parks… it feels like someone was playing a video game and packed everything into one place. A beautiful experience.

The Colline du Château is also known as Castle Hill. It has several ideal lookouts / viewpoints from where you can see the best views of Nice. At the top there is even a terrace with a couple of benches, occasionally with a musician - there was a drummer when we were there. In addition to many scenic walks and viewpoints, there is also a waterfall, archeological ruins, playgrounds for children, and a cafe. It’s hard to miss seeing the Colline du Château from the famous Promenade d’Anglais and whether ascending either by steps on one side or a ramp on the other, it’s worth the effort. Spend an hour or the day as there are plenty of public restrooms and a couple of snack kiosks. Highly recommend!

Parc de la Colline du Château ended up being one of my favorite spots in Nice. The park is absolutely beautiful—lush pathways, peaceful corners, and some of the best panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean. Whether you hike up, take the stairs, or use the elevator, the views at the top are completely worth it. I loved wandering around the ruins, the gardens, and the waterfall area. It’s the perfect place to take a break from the busier streets below and just soak in the scenery. The mix of history and nature gives the whole park a calm, charming vibe. Overall, Parc de la Colline du Château is a must-visit when in Nice—great for photos, relaxing walks, and unbeatable views of the coastline and Old Town.

Amazing view point for Nice and a good day out for sure! There is a lift you can take to the top of the hill which definitely improves the accessibility. It is decently busy (but what else would you expect). Upon my visit there was 2 people I encountered who seemed to be a little pushy to get people to take pictures with their Doves in exchange for money.

Colline du Chateau, also known as Castle Hill is a wonderful walk with stunning views of Nice. The waterfall was spectacular. We were also surprised to find a couple of places at the top of the hill where you could purchase refreshments. No tickets required, the walk is free, unless of course you wish to skip the exercise and catch the little visitor train.

great place to spend half a day outdoors with your family. the zoo is cared for down to the smallest details, clean and equipped with all the comforts that families need: bars, restaurants, toilets, many bins for recycling in different parts of the park. the animals are well cared for and happy. it is truly a pleasure to visit a place like this. I recommend buying tickets online so as not to waste time at the ticket office. there are two convenient and spacious car parks. disabled people enter for free and every place is accessible by wheelchair/stroller. great experience! you can participate in the bird show by booking online!

Zoom is a lovely Zoo and Water Park near Torino. It's a great place to see a variety of animals and enjoy a day at their artificial pools. It is highly recommended to plan things out. You can access the park from Torino via teain to Piscina (please note they are operating Bus Rail Replacement services). While Google Maps says it's a 19 minute walk from the Train Station. There are no sidewalks on part of the trip so it's best to reserve a shuttle which for €5 RT will take you to / from the park. This can be booked online and paid in cash to the driver. Book tickets in advance, you can reserve spots at the beach and have a pair of sun loungers and an umbrella for about €27. Ticket prices are reasonable but check online as discounts are available. The pool itself is extra so look for deals. Several food options and expect about €15-20 for lunch on the low-end. (The fried seafood platter was a miss). Lots of places to buy waters at €1.50 each, no real free water fountains like you find all over Italy. Animals seemed to be treated ok, it's a zoo and of course some people have strong opinions about that.

Awesome place! It’s easy to access when you buy the ticket online. Getting there can be a little tricky if you’re using the train, but it’s worth it. The animals are well-organized, placed together to create a good system, and navigating the zoo is easy if you follow the path. The staff are very helpful and all speak English. The seating areas between the animal enclosures, especially the one near the tiger exhibit, are great. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, totally worth it and affordable.

Superb zoo! Extremely well organised and thought through. Animals looked well looked after and enclosures were built in a way to feel natural and were well maintained. Plenty of toilets and eat/drink options and lots of staff looking after every aspect. Two excellent play areas to occupy a 5 year old. Whole site is not huge and could go around it in half a day if you wanted but it's also ok to spread things out and take breaks. Plenty of extras with talks and shows if you can organise yourself to fit around the schedule. We stayed over night at the "Glamping" site which was also excellent. Very nice room and then that allows you to take breakfast in the terrace restaurant sitting in-between the lions on one side and giraffes and savanna animals on the other side which was a very cool experience. The only negative is that there was a disgusting and overpowering smell i think coming from the toilet/sewage system in the area of our accommodation which was strong enough to make me feel sick and detracted from the enjoyment of the evening as it was impossible to sit on the terrace of our room

I travel a lot and see so many museums but this is one of the best... This place is one three flors and basement... You have elevators between every floor... I visited this museum about 10 years ago and the experience back then felt on another level. The storytelling, especially in the Gods Library, and the way the rooms connected made the visit much more fluid and comfortable. This time, unfortunately, the huge number of visitors made it almost impossible to enjoy some sections. Even with pre-booked tickets, it was extremely crowded and in some areas difficult to walk or stop to see the exhibits properly. What I did appreciate, however, were the new virtual experiences in some rooms, which clearly and engagingly explained the historical context and processes.

I’m sure they’re trying hard to make this the standout Egyptian museum and have spent a lot of money on it. There are some fantastic things exhibited here but….its overcrowded and it’s strangely boring and repetitive. There are too many exhibits to take in. They should have cut back on the exhibits and instead told the history of Egypt far better. The museum is all over the place in terms of its narrative. It’s thematic but really needs to be chronological and help piece together what we’re viewing. It was a real shame because I just wanted to leave after half an hour of being bored and learning surprisingly little about an interesting subject.

Very comprehensive museum on Egypt. I think I managed to go through all of it. Felt like I got a complete rundown on the entire corpus of Egyptian history. The app guide is glitchy. I downloaded some modules but sometimes it reloads if you don’t keep the phone open, and then it says you’re offline and won’t load the module anymore. So maybe the old school audio guide you can get at reception is a better option. However, the displays do a good job anyway and you can still get enough of a gist of it just with the displays. To do the entire museum, reading everything and listening to the audio guides, would take the best part of a whole day. But there’s an in house cafe at a convenient midpoint.

I didn't expect there to be so many things from Egypt. There is so much to see and learn about where things come from and their history. An amazing place. I fell in love with it. I would have liked to stay longer, but I chose the hour. But the important thing is that I managed to learn most of it.

Amazing museum filled with cinema history. We went during the James Cameron exhibition. The interactive parts were great and the props were very interesting to go through and learn about their movies. The only down side is that the dedication exhibition that changes could be smaller so that the main part had more cinema history related stuff. In addition to these the elevator is a must. The view of torino is amazing and one you don't want to miss. I also recommend getting tickets in advance since it can get crowded(having tickets for both the exhibition and the elevator can reduce the wait time drastically).

I recommend you to buy ticket for elevator and tour in advance... View from the top is amazing, all city and Alps... Inside you have to see nice museum... The history part was interesting, and the layout inside was unique. The modern cinema section (the main part) now seems a bit anachronistic, as it focuses on a fairly narrow era of cinema. The part where cinema technology moves into gaming felt the most contemporary but it was not much. Note that when I bought the ticket online, there was only the option to buy a combined museum + panoramic lift ticket. Yet when I tried to get on the lift I was told my ticket was only for the museum. There wasn’t even a way to buy the tickets separately on the website so I’m not sure how I could have done it wrong. Anyway, I decided to skip the lift rather than buy another ticket. So I’m not sure if you should buy a ticket in advance, actually.

Like the view from the observation deck. Recommended during the sunset. Apparently you cannot visit without a ticket bought, and for this you may have issue in the website, so we just scan qr code near the entrance and book the time.

The iconic Mole dominates Turin's skyline. You car ride to the top for amazing views. Combine this with a ticket for the excellent Museum of Cinema (housed in the main building) for the best value.

Loved it. Great way to explore cinema and film making. My 7yo and 9yo had plenty to see and do here. As a cinephile I found it a brilliant collection that is well constructed and curated.

The places does impress the wanderers due to its vastness and abundance of various exotic expostinions. There are many interesting acquariums including both commonly known sea critters as well as even more interesting unpopular ones. If it's not enough for you, don't worry! There are a handful of beautifully recreated biomes containing the richness of coral reefs, raw desert enviroments full with beautifull animals as well as huge pool with eager to play dolphins within.

I love visiting aquariums. My favorite places among the aquariums I've visited so far are L’Oceanogràfic Valencia, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Moskvarium. This aquarium Genoa is quite small but it's easy to visit location for tourists and jellyfish tanks were lovely. I visited there during the winter off-season and there was no line so I am not sure if it was necessary to buy the on-line entrance ticket in advance.

We LOVED IT, this aquarium is huge and has some sea life I haven’t seen in US. We love aquariums, you can’t go wrong. Our daughter loves the jellyfish and some cool snakes in there Husband said the manatees were amazing and large variety of sea life and frogs. When you start you are on the bottom level and you go through the whole bottom level… then you go upstairs and see everything upstairs but also have a view of sharks and other animals you saw downstairs and upstairs is best for pictures of the dolphins and sharks - for me. There is also an area you can touch some sea life.

This is a beautiful atmospheric place that will please lovers not only of delicious food, but also of modern art. There is great cuisine and delicious cocktails. Wonderful little bar with a great atmosphere and friendly service from the staff. A couple of people were playing music on the piano and guitar inside, a lovely environment to sit in the sun next to the water and enjoy a drink.

By far the best experience in Livorno and there were many. This bar is situated next to The Grand Hotel on the sea front. Never the same experience with musicians and artist all visiting to set the vibe with the owners many available musical instruments being loaned to all. We concluded every day of our visit here and met some wonderful people especially the owners. A true treasure of Livorno.

The area can be busy with tourists, but if you go early in the morning or later in the afternoon, it’s much quieter. Before I went to visit, I thought it would be overrated, old and uninteresting, but when I got there, I was completely wowed! The tower and surrounding buildings have been maintained in such a pristine way that they look like they were built last week. For a building that is over 850 years old, it sure has aged well. The scale and lean of the tower is unbelievable and cannot be felt from pictures. This is a must visit when you are in Italy. It is truly a majestic sight.

Iconic- such an amazing view. I loved this place but so crowded. I would recommend visiting the museum next to the tower of Pisa to get an amazing view with minimal people spoiling your photos. Also there is a restaurant in this museum and you get a stunning view. Recommend climbing the tower of Pisa that was amazing make sure you are willing to climb as can be tiring. Trainers recommended for the climb.

Had a lovely time here. The tower itself has a beautiful view when you're at the top. The steps are slippery tho so be careful aspecially when walking back down. The cathedral is gorgeous also on the inside. We bought tickets that included entree to all buildings and museums and also walked the walls of pisa all the way (which was quite long). Definitely recommend visiting and also going inside.

Very unique place of the walled city of Lucca. Its almost whole round walkable on the top of the walls or street inside the walls. Plenty of trees, walkways are suitable for jogging and fitness exercises and walking of the locals. very calm green place. From the walls you can see the old city and also outside, small water channels under the wall. All around are about 11 bastions and couple of gates to the city. The wall is 4 km long and is among the best preserved Renaissance fortifications in Europe, and the second largest intact example of a fully walled Renaissance city after Nicosia on Cyprus.

A short walk...even with your roller bag...from the train station to the walls of Lucca. I always get a smile when the gate comes into view. The walled city of Lucca still holds plenty of lore with its many restaurants and merchants. This trip we stayed at the Grand Universe right in the center of Lucca so we could be immersed in the city culture and people.

We used the ramp at Porta di San Pietro to take a one-hour stroll anticlockwise along the wall. The views of the old city on one side and of the Lucca hills and Apuan Alps on the other are charming and inspiring. Due to lack of time we were not able to walk the entire length (4.4 km) of the wall, but the segment we did, was organized as a usual public park. The park would benefit of informative panels that could provide visitors with historical context and details on the surrounding area.

Fun way to visit the city. You can walk, stroll, bike, we rent a 6 person bike. 1-2h walking.

My favourite part of our visit to Lucca was the Mura di Lucca. An absolutely brilliant use of the city wall by having a multipurpose recreational trail on top of the wall! Paved for walking and wheeling, the many ramps give ready access for users. The bulwarks of the wall have parks, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Several museums and the Botanical gardens are accessed from the trail. The Mura also has several gates as well as pedestrian tunnels. Stunning views of the hills surrounding Lucca. Worth a saunter!

We visited the Ferrari Museum in Maranello as a family, and although it’s not the first place you’d imagine bringing a baby, it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We decided to leave the stroller in the car and use our Ergobaby carrier instead, and that was the perfect choice — it gave us full freedom to move around without worrying about stairs or elevators, and our daughter was cozy, calm, and close to us the whole time. The museum itself is spotless, modern, and beautifully designed. From the very first hall, with rows of gleaming red cars under dramatic lighting, we felt immersed in the Ferrari legend. Our little one, still so small, was captivated by the reflections and the bright colors — her eyes kept darting from car to car, and several visitors stopped to smile at her reactions. Those small moments made us feel really welcome, and staff members were also warm and attentive without ever being intrusive. The exhibitions cover both Ferrari’s road cars and its Formula 1 history. On the practical side, the museum worked well with a baby. The restrooms were very clean, though not perfectly equipped for diaper changes, but we managed without trouble. The only real downside for us was the price: tickets are 27€ per adult. For a museum that takes about one to two hours to visit, it feels expensive, and I think a family ticket or a slightly lower entry fee would make the experience more accessible. That’s the only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five, because otherwise it was a truly memorable and surprisingly baby-friendly outing. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Ferrari Museum in Maranello even with a little one. Using a baby carrier made it very easy, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it gave us a special family memory in a place you wouldn’t necessarily expect to be child-friendly. For us, it was worth it — an unforgettable mix of Ferrari’s world and our own new chapter as parents.

Very modern and stylish museum for Ferrari cars. A unique collection of road, prototype and racing cars from the early years up until now. Rather small compared to Porsche and Mercedes museums in Stuttgart, but that was the only “negative” and hence 4 of 5 stars. Nevertheless, for anyone with petrol in the blood, this is a truly great visit and experience!

A good place for Ferrari or car enthusiasts. Is a bit of a trek from Modena, but they have a bus leaving from the station once daily in the morning. Use the link on the museum ticketing page to book a seat. Tickets sold on the bus but pre oiled seats will get preference. The museum itself is well laid out and has lots of cars on display. From the early models to F1 cars. Kids over 150cm can get on the stimulators for a 7 minute test ride. The stimulators are pretty good. Gift shop is expensive but has a few scale models around the 30 Euro mark. You can't buy just one, has to be bought with another item. Magnets, key chains etc are 20 euro so better off buying 2 models instead. An hourly public bus runs at 18 minutes on the hour from a nearby bus stand, takes 45 minutes to Modena. Better to take this than stay till 2:45 when the museum bus leaves. Walking to the bus stand we saw some options for a ride in a Ferrari car outside. Was a rainy day so did not explore around, but doesn't look like there is much else in the surrounding area

The collection of special cars is equally impressive, with the highlight for me being the ultra-rare 288 GTO Evoluzione — an unbelievable treat to see in person. However, one negative moment stood out during this visit. A woman managing the foot traffic at the entrance made us wait outside for no clear reason, and her attitude came across as unnecessarily rude. It genuinely took away from an otherwise fantastic experience for several of us. It’s a shame, because everything else inside the museum was excellent. On a brighter note, the gift shop is fantastic, packed with high-quality merchandise that any Ferrari fanatic would love. I’ve been to the museum multiple times, and despite the small hiccup, I’ll continue to return. It’s a must-visit when in Maranello — a place where Ferrari’s history, passion, and spirit truly come alive.

I changed my route on the way back to the Netherlands just to visit the Ferrari Museum. As a designer, I expected something inspiring and memorable, but that moment never came. Arriving in Maranello is actually the best part, with a great view of the factory. At the museum the experience drops immediately. The outside looks messy and the paid parking system is poorly organised. The payment machine is on the opposite side of the building, so you walk back and forth before you can even enter. Inside, the student discount is nice. Upstairs it starts promising with a few special cars, but then you are met with an overwhelming amount of text. The English explanations are entirely in italic, which becomes tiring to read. Text on the walls is printed extremely large and the information next to the cars is placed very low to the ground. It does not feel visitor friendly. The biggest disappointment is how static everything is. There is nothing interactive, no sound design, no immersive elements, no behind-the-scenes look at the design or engineering. For a brand built on emotion and innovation, the museum feels strangely flat. There are around fifteen cars and you are done in about twenty minutes. At the end you can pay twenty euros to sit in a Ferrari for a photo, which feels unnecessary. The shop looks nice at first but the prices are shocking. A cap for €65 and a basic T-shirt for €85, all made in China. For a brand known for Italian craftsmanship, this feels disappointing. I expected a world-class, inspiring museum from Ferrari. Instead it felt like a short and text heavy exhibition with very little magic. A missed opportunity.

Well, it speaks for itself, the museum of the greatest car maker in the world. A must see probably for everyone, not just car lovers. If you go on weekends don't rush to be too early there, there were far less people waiting to go in as we left. The parking lot directly at the museum is pretty small and gets occupied quickly, so use the other one, it's also free and only one street north from the museum. For exiting you need the bar code of your ticket, so if you did not buy it online, don't throw it away. One can take photos in an F8 Tributo at the end of the tour even if one did not book it, it is of course charged. You can drive in an F1 Simulator, I recommend you book your desired time slot for that one.

A wonderful collection and curation of Ferrari. Thoroughly enjoyed reading the write up behind each vehicle. Parking was available on site with overflow parking across the road. Free parking for ticket holders and you just scan your barcode to exit the overflow parking.
